What it answers
Life Reading is about the long arc — the shape of a life and where it is heading — rather than one specific matter in front of you right now. For "should I move on this or not", see Trend Divination.
Typical questions: what does my Bazi show, how does this year look, which direction suits me, how large is the wealth pattern, when might a good match come, what should I watch for in health.
What you need to provide
Name, gender, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. The place is used to convert to true solar time — the same clock reading at a different longitude can fall in a different double-hour, and that changes the hour pillar outright.
You can start without a known birth time: Birth Hour Estimation works backwards from life events you do remember to find the most likely pillar, then you come back here.
Bazi or Ziwei Doushu
Both read a life pattern, from different angles: Bazi works from the interaction of stems, branches and the five phases across the years; Ziwei Doushu from how the stars fall across the twelve palaces. You do not have to choose first — the assistant picks whichever suits your question, and you can also name one directly.
A cast chart can be saved as a record and reopened later to carry on, without re-entering anything.
