Trend Divination
Ask about the matter, read the timing
A cast chart can go to AI reading. Describe what you want to know. A chart is cast for this moment, or a hexagram is cast for you, and read back — whether to move or hold, where the timing sits, what to watch for.
Whatever is in front of you
Trend Divination is about a matter — one specific thing in front of you that needs a decision. Most questions fall into these nine kinds:
Career decisions
Whether to change jobs or take on the project — move now, or wait a little longer.
Exams and study
Whether this exam will go your way, and which school or subject is the steadier choice.
Money
Whether this investment or this deal will come through, where the timing sits and where the risk is hiding.
Partnerships
Whether this collaboration will come together, whether the other side can be relied on, where it is stuck.
Relationships
Where this relationship is heading, how the other person feels, whether to step closer or let it rest.
Health
How a present health matter is likely to go and when it may ease. A point of reference, never a substitute for medical advice.
Travel
Whether a trip will go smoothly, whether sooner or later is better, and what to watch for on the way.
People and lost things
Whether the person you are looking for, or the thing you lost, is still within reach, and roughly which direction to look.
Disputes and lawsuits
How a dispute or lawsuit is likely to turn out, whether to settle or hold your ground, and which step to guard.
Three steps to read a matter
Say what the matter is
No birth details are needed — just describe what you want to know. The more concrete you are about who is involved, what it is and where it is stuck, the more the reading has to hold on to.
The chart is cast
A timing chart is cast at the moment you ask, so the same matter asked at a different time gives a different chart; a hexagram is thrown by your own hand, or by the system for you. Casting follows the received rules and is fixed by algorithm, not left to a model.
Read the timing
The reading comes back from the chart: whether to move or hold, where the timing sits, what to watch for. Any point can be followed up.
Six systems, each with its strength
All six can read a matter, and they cast from one of two grounds. For an ordinary question Master Libo picks the one that suits the matter; name a system and it will be that one; to read several together, turn on Xuantian Mode.
Timing chartcast from the hour
Nothing to do by hand. Once the year, month, day and hour of your question fall into place, the chart is made: the moment itself is the oracle. Qimen Dunjia, Da Liu Ren and Jin Kou Jue work this way, and Plum Blossom Numerology is most often cast from the time as well. Their strength is momentum: which way the energy of this moment is moving, and when the matter will come due.
Cast hexagramcast by hand
These need an act: three coins thrown six times, or forty-nine yarrow stalks divided and gathered through eighteen changes. The mind rests on the matter, the hand follows, and the hexagram comes of it. Six Lines and Yarrow Stalk Divination work this way; cast it yourself or let the system cast it for you. Their strength is the verdict: will it come off, will it be got.
- Zhongdao Qimen DunjiaThe art of emperors, used in the old accounts to deploy armies and win battles far away. It lays the moment of casting out across nine palaces, the eight gates, nine stars and eight spirits each in place, and reads where the gate stands open and where the road leads. What it judges is the step right in front of you: move or hold, and which direction runs clear.
- Six Lines NajiaCasts a hexagram, dresses its six lines with stems, branches and the six relations, takes the matter asked about as the subject line and reads its strength, support and moving lines. It does not talk in general about good and bad; it brings the whole matter down to one pivot and answers “will it come off, will it be got”.
- Sanyuan Da Liu RenDerives three transmissions from four lessons, laying a matter out as a line — where it came from, where it stands, where it is going — while the twelve generals govern how people come and go. Strong on how people are bound up with one another, and when a thing will settle.
- Xuan Jin Kou JueSets up only four positions: the earthly division, the general, the noble spirit and the human element. Once the four stand, the play of the phases can be read on the spot, one lesson answering many things. When a matter comes up suddenly and you need a judgement you can use right now, it is the quickest to cast.
- Plum Blossom NumerologyAnything that catches the attention can cast it: the time you notice something, a number given, a sound heard. It reads three layers of image — primary, nuclear and changed hexagrams — to see the shape a matter has now and the shape it is turning into. When a question arrives in a hurry, still vaguely put, it gives a direction to begin with.
- Yarrow Stalk DivinationThe Zhouyi’s own way of divination: of the Great Expansion number fifty, forty-nine are used, and eighteen changes make a hexagram. It answers straight from the hexagram and line texts and the Tuan and Xiang commentaries; when a matter turns on what to take up, what to let go and how to carry yourself, it goes back to the classic itself.
Xuantian Mode
One matter, many charts at once
One system gives one answer; several read together show where the weight lies. Xuantian Mode casts the same matter across several charts at once: Qimen Dunjia for direction and timing, Da Liu Ren for how it unfolds, Six Lines and Yarrow Stalk Divination for whether it comes off, Jin Kou Jue for a verdict on the spot. Each chart is judged on its own by a separate Shenlong agent, and Master Libo draws them together into one in-depth report.

Say what the matter is
Describe it in the chat. When the matter weighs and the question goes deep, Master Libo will ask whether you want an in-depth analysis; you can also simply ask for Xuantian Mode.
Choose the charts
Choose Xuantian Mode and the timing charts and hexagrams that suit the matter are already ticked; add or remove any, and cast the hexagrams yourself or let the system do it.
One report
Each chart is read on its own, then all are drawn into one Xuantian report, kept in your Xuantian records to reopen at any time or share with a friend.
The more charts you open, the longer it thinks and the more allowance it uses, so tick what the matter needs.
Questions people bring
Pick one and it lands in the question box, ready to send or reword.
A matter hangs unsettled and you can neither move nor let go — usually it is not the matter that is hard; the hour has not come.
What is read is not a fixed fate but the air of this moment. See whether to move or to hold, and next time you will know it for yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Does Trend Divination need my birth details?
No. It casts at the moment you ask, so all it needs is a clear description of the matter.
Six systems — which should I choose?
You do not have to choose; Master Libo picks by the nature of the question. Direction and timing usually go to Qimen Dunjia, how a matter unfolds and when it resolves to Da Liu Ren, success or failure to Six Lines, a sudden matter that needs a verdict on the spot to Jin Kou Jue, a matter still taking shape to Plum Blossom Numerology, and a question best answered from the Zhouyi’s own text to Yarrow Stalk Divination.
If you want a particular one, just say so, or cast it by hand on that system’s charting page; to read several at once, turn on Xuantian Mode.
Can I ask about the same matter again?
The chart is cast from the moment you ask, so the same matter asked later gives a different chart. Tradition holds to one casting per matter: while nothing has changed, casting again and again only muddies the judgement; once the situation has moved, asking again is exactly right.
Is the answer a fixed fate?
No. What is read is the air of this moment, not an unchanging destiny. It tells you whether this step favours moving or holding and where the timing sits; what you do is still up to you.
How do I ask so the reading is clearer?
Be concrete: who is involved, what the matter is, where you are stuck, and whether you want to know the outcome or the timing. Ask one thing at a time — the clearer the question, the more precisely it maps onto the chart.
