Liuxia (流霞) is the spirit of bloodshed, governing accidental injury and birth-related blood disorders. A man who meets it should guard against the calamity of blade, water and fire; a woman, against difficult childbirth and hemorrhage. This spirit dreads meeting Jiesha or Wangshen, which double its ill force—it must be resolved with auspicious stars.
