What it means
Death Door (死门) is located in the Southwest Kun Palace and is a greatly inauspicious door. It belongs to the Earth element.
Characteristics: Represents immobility or relative immobility. Stubbornness, inflexibility, no change, loss of life, lifelessness, irreconcilability, fixed and unchanging, cannot circulate, cutting off all thoughts, spirits and deities. When others move quickly, it moves slowly—it may be under the influence of Death Door, representing relative stagnation. Stillness, no development, relatively stable. Also represents death and anything that is still, things that do not breathe. Represents the earth, mineral resources, deities and Buddhas, obsessiveness, rigidness, and stern expressions. When encountering Death Door, actions become rigid and unyielding. Typically represents information about death, and is also used to indicate executions, war, scars, pain, suffering, suppression, and lifelessness. It can also represent endings, the last, and finality. Places influenced by Death Door are only suitable for mourning and executions; all other matters are unfavorable. Death Door is also used to represent deceased persons, corpses, locks, saving lives, land, ancestral graves, and faith.

Geography: Land, graves, slaughterhouses, toy factories, sculpture factories, uninhabited vacant houses, morgues, hospitals, execution grounds.
