此法以逐日時動爻斷之，以五行金火土而定。金日寅卯時斷（五金所日主發爻發動，主有古器不祥）：鐵器有蹺蹊，鋤剪及嵫墓，神道不得刀，金中顯神威，灶中有犯動，二姓家先迷，一二四郎鬼，楊家邪可知。金日辰已時斷：家有蹺蹊物，古鏡及鎖匙，木器有四腳，房中橙桌兒，常時來作怪，與復不相宜，西山艮坤穴，鼠水未為奇。

The method used in this section involves determining the day's stem and branch along with the time of day, identifying the moving line, and then using the five phases to make a judgment. For a day of metal with the time of寅 or卯, the interpretation is: there are strange things in the household with iron objects; there are farming tools, shears, and items from graves; it is not appropriate to place a knife before the shrine; the divine power of metal is revealed; there is disturbance in the kitchen; the ancestors of two families are entangled and confused; there are ghosts named first brother, second brother, and fourth brother; the evil spirits of a family named Yang can be known from this. For a day of metal with the time of辰 or巳, the interpretation is: there are strange items in the household, such as ancient mirrors and keys; there are also four-legged wooden objects, such as chairs and tables in the house; they often cause trouble; adding more of the same kind is not advisable; the ancestral graves are located in the western mountain directions of艮 and坤; there are rat problems and water problems, which are not unusual.

金日午末時斷：舊器主災異，香火不得刀，比斗並盒藍，原日無來歷，有願末曾還，老鼠有怪跡，南北上祖墳，驚動人不吉。金日申酉時斷：木器有鼠耗，主損六畜財，於君不為福，暗身作禍來，陳鄭吳張鬼，家中每降災，西方穴不利，甲庚好夜臺。

For a day of metal with the hour of午 and 未: old objects bring calamity and strange occurrences; it is not advisable to place a knife before the incense and candles; there are containers such as fighting sticks, boxes, and baskets; the origin is unclear; vows made have not been fulfilled; mice leave strange marks; the ancestral graves in the north and south directions are disturbed, which is not auspicious. For a day of metal with the hour of申 and 酉: wooden objects are bitten by mice; it causes injury to livestock and wealth; it is not a blessing for you; there is a ghost of sudden death coming secretly to cause trouble; ghosts of surnames Chen, Zheng, Wu, and Zhang often bring disaster to the family; the western graves are unfavorable; the burial site facing 甲 and backed by 庚 is the best (「night platform」 refers to the tomb).

木日寅卯時斷（五木日時臨爻發動出古器之決）：四腳木器物，橙桌櫥櫃床，灶破缺一角，家神願未償，震山坤艮穴，蔭發子孫昌，或有身無尾，口舌每爭張。木日辰已時斷：宅內有重門，門上有二穿，震山卯酉穴，風水蔭兒孫，客傷自縊鬼，陳家楊姓瘟，兩姓家先引，四季鬧紛紛。

On days of the Wood element, if the hour falls on寅 or卯 and the relevant line becomes active, it indicates the appearance of ancient artifacts. There are four-legged wooden objects in the house, such as stools, tables, cupboards, and beds; the stove is broken and missing a corner; the vows to the household gods have not been fulfilled; the ancestral tomb is located in the direction of Zhen mountain or Kun and Gen, which brings prosperity to descendants; or there are objects with a body but no tail (such as a scale with a broken tail), which often cause disputes. On days of the Wood element, if the hour falls on辰 or巳 and the relevant line becomes active, it indicates there are two doors in the house; there are two holes on the doors; the ancestral tomb is located in the direction of Zhen mountain or卯 and酉, which brings blessings to descendants; there are ghosts who died by suicide or died away from home; there are plague spirits among families surnamed Chen and Yang; the ancestors of two families are connected, and they quarrel all year round.

木日午末時斷：一柱作古怪，窗扇有短長，其中常時鄉，宅內不為祥，營謀多反覆，破耗損牛羊，東南一古墓，定見有乘張。木日申酉時斷：居家四腳物，將錢買得來，如今遭鼠耗，似之反為災，家先無祭享，安謝免疑猜，震山一墓好，添丁進喜財。

For the divination on a day of wood with the hour of午 or 未: there is a pillar that has become strange; the window shutters are uneven in length; there are frequent sounds (the character 「乡」 is equivalent to 「响」); the house is not auspicious; matters planned often have reversals; there is loss of property and damage to cattle and sheep; in the southeast direction there is an ancient tomb, and certainly there will be disturbances and disturbances. For the divination on a day of wood with the hour of 申 or 酉: the four-legged furniture in the house was bought with money; now it is damaged by rats, and thus becomes a disaster; the ancestors have not received sacrifices; after安抚 and rewards, suspicion will be removed; there is a good tomb in the direction of 震 mountain, which can bring more sons and wealth.

水日寅卯時斷（水日時爻斷所臨爻中出六怪）：錫器與銅器，甑盤碗碟杯，年來成怪異，業退血財哀，不正家先鬼，時常作禍殃，祖山坤艮石，南北穴傾頹。水日辰已時斷：石臼並鍋破，就裡反為怪，正損六畜財，家先作害害，古墓在屋邊，不蔭長房敗，巽山壬丙凶，癸丁利後代。

For a water day with the time of寅and卯: there are tin and copper vessels, as well as steamers, plates, bowls, dishes, and cups in the family; recently these have become strange and abnormal; the family's fortune has declined, livestock have been harmed, causing sorrow; there is a ghost from an improper ancestor who often causes trouble; on the mountain where the ancestral tomb is located, there are stones in the directions of坤and艮; the northern and southern tomb sites are ruined. For a water day with the time of辰and巳: there are stone mortars and broken pots, which have become strange and abnormal within them; this mainly causes harm to livestock and wealth; the ancestors are causing trouble and harm; there is an ancient tomb by the house, which cannot benefit the eldest son, but instead leads to decline; the tomb facing the direction of巽mountain and壬or丙is凶, while facing癸or丁is favorable for descendants.

水日午末時斷：甕碟生災咎，升斗損破舊，住屋向東西，主人多欠壽，神願未曾還，謀為難逐就，奉事佛前香，宅神相保佑。水日申酉時斷：折稱破斗杵，箱布衫褲裙，又有西足物，同前作怪凶，小門通徑路，急整免建屯。

For a day of water with the hour of午 and 未: there will be calamity from jars and plates; measuring tools such as measures and buckets will be broken or old; the house faces east or west; the master is likely to have a short life; vows made before the gods will not be fulfilled; plans will not go smoothly; one should serve incense before the Buddha, and the household deity will protect. For a day of water with the hour of申 and 酉: broken scales, broken measures and杵; boxes, cloth, shirts, pants, skirts and clothes; there will also be four-legged creatures coming from the west (the term '西足' should be '四足'); the same troubles as before will cause misfortune; there is a small door leading to a small path; one should hurry to fix it, otherwise difficulties will arise everywhere (the term '建屯' refers to the hexagram JIAN TUN).

火日寅卯時斷（火日時臨爻動生石器之妙決）：宅門中一破，古木有蹺蹊，前山下一穴，前峰起又低，信之有大吉，不信凶怎知，招邪通耗路，修改莫疑遲。火日辰已時斷：宅內香爐缺，人口多穴買，灶神亦不安，火鬼及傷亡，疾病生寒熱，南北墓平常，東西進產業。

For a fire day with the hour of Yin or Mao, the interpretation is: there is a damaged area in the middle of the gate; an ancient tree has some suspicious situation; there is a grave beneath the front mountain; the peak in front rises first and then lowers; if you believe this interpretation, it will be very auspicious, but if you don't believe it, there will be danger and uncertainty; there is a path that invites evil spirits and leads to loss; you should make changes as soon as possible and not hesitate. For a fire day with the hour of Si or Wei, the interpretation is: the incense burner inside the house is broken; there are many people in the family who are bought (referring to purchased servants or adopted children); the kitchen god is not at peace; there are fire ghosts and sudden death spirits; illness shows as alternating cold and heat; the northern and southern graveyards are ordinary; but the eastern and western directions are suitable for acquiring property.

火日午末時斷：君家有火爐，作怪甚蹉跎，四足器為患，焚燬免災無，小口生啾唧，急須禳灶司，辰寅門路吉，用整北方途。火日申酉時斷：南方古冢磚，移來置灶前，急須宜整換，免使禍相纏，兩足並三腳，器物怪難言，祖墳壬丙向，禳謝得安然。

Divination for a fire day at the hour of Wu or Wei: There is a fire stove in your home that causes trouble; four-legged objects become a source of misfortune, and if you burn them, the disaster will be removed; children will cry and fall ill; you should urgently perform a ritual to appease the kitchen god; the entrance should be opened in the direction of Chen or Yin for good fortune; you should repair the road in the north. Divination for a fire day at the hour of Shen or You: The bricks from an ancient tomb in the south are moved and placed in front of the stove; you should urgently tidy and replace them to avoid misfortune; objects with two legs or three feet cause trouble in ways that are hard to describe; the ancestral tomb faces Ren and points to Bing; after performing the ritual of appeasement and offering thanks, you will be safe.

土日寅卯時斷：戶扇破春臼，石板瓦和磚，來歷真闇昧，作怪禍難言，坤艮山下火，被人盜葬墳，不然有崩缺，安正可周全。土日辰已時斷：圓石作禍胎，引鬼入門來，耗財並主疾，除去免其災，祖墓巽山好，奇門可進財，暗身須用度，經誦稱君懷。

For a day of Earthly Branch "寅" or "卯" with a Heavenly Stem of "土": the door is broken, there are stone mortars, stone slabs, tiles and bricks whose origins are unclear; they cause disturbances and bring about unpredictable misfortunes; either someone has secretly buried a grave beneath the mountain (the "Fire" element of "Nayin" refers to the grave's location), or the grave is collapsed and incomplete; if it is properly arranged, it can be preserved. For a day of Earthly Branch "辰" or "巳" with a Heavenly Stem of "土": a round stone is the source of trouble, it brings in ghosts; it causes loss of wealth and illness; removing it will prevent this disaster; the ancestral grave should be located facing the "Wind" direction, which matches the "Qimen" direction and brings wealth; there are hidden deaths that need to be purified; reciting scriptures and performing repentance will fulfill your wishes.

土日午末時斷：棺材有動移，安處不為宜，口舌紛紜起，災病又相隨，乙辛丁癸穴，水法未為奇，靈神祈福佑，財喜自當時。土日申酉時斷：匣中有練服，常來作怪邪，灶磚有破損，作事起搓丫，屋後古人冢，入宅起冤家，土地不得力，安泰免吁嗟。

For a burial on a soil day during the午 or 未 hours: there has been movement of the coffin; the placement is unsuitable; there will be much verbal disputes; illness and misfortune will follow closely; the grave site is located in the directions of 乙, 辛, 丁, or 癸, and the water flow is ordinary and unremarkable; by praying to the spiritual guardian, wealth and happiness will come at the right time. For a burial on a soil day during the 申 or 酉 hours: there are mourning clothes (「练服」refers to coarse hemp mourning garments) in the chest, often causing disturbances and evil influences; there is damage to the bricks on the stove; affairs are always obstructed (「搓丫」means stumbling and encountering obstacles); there is an old grave behind the house; ghosts from the grave enter the house, forming grudges; the land god cannot offer assistance; only by proper arrangement can one avoid regret.

六神青龍朱雀勾陳塍蛇白虎玄武是也，五行者金木水火土，各臨入於五鄉也。青龍入木鬼斷：青龍入木鬼一張床鬼斷，原來收得在東方，若是未曾經損害，必然床上有人亡。朱雀木鬼斷：朱雀木鬼有閒勾，掛在房閒半柱頭，更有舊繩新接斷，勾起掛貼惹悶愁。勾陳木鬼斷：勾陳木鬼是壇亭，更兼香火在門庭，前簷掛有一條索，勸君作速去其纏。

The "Six Spirits" refer to the six entities: Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, Gou Chen, Teng Sha, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise. The "Five Phases" are metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. This section discusses what kind of objects become spirits when each of the Six Spirits occupies the position of the wood element. If Azure Dragon is on the wood爻, it indicates there is a bed in the house that was originally brought from the east. If this bed has never been damaged, someone must have died on it. If Vermilion Bird is on the wood爻, it indicates there is an unused wooden hook hanging halfway up a pillar in the room, and there is also an old rope that has been recently tied but has broken. If you lift the hook and hang it up, it will cause annoyance and worry. If Gou Chen is on the wood爻, it indicates there is a wooden structure such as a pavilion, with incense and offerings set up at the entrance. There is also a rope hanging under the eaves. It is advised to remove it quickly to avoid being troubled.

塍蛇木鬼斷：塍蛇木掐是條槍，原來安頓在櫥房，或有門前牆種路，不然破損及傷亡。白虎木鬼斷：白虎木鬼是朝靈，來自西方作禍侵，家主房中櫥櫃破，更兼屋角竹籠新。玄武木鬼斷：玄武木鬼大無端，鬼臨宅長病艱難，不是火爐並舊板，門外移入後堂安。

When the Snake hexagram falls on a wooden line and indicates a ghost, it signifies either a wooden spear originally placed in the kitchen, or a wall blocking the entrance, or broken objects and spirits who died violently. When the White Tiger hexagram falls on a wooden line and indicates a ghost, it suggests a spiritual object that is worshipped by people, coming from the west to cause trouble; the cabinet in the master's room is broken, and there is also a new bamboo cage added in the corner of the house. When the Black Tortoise hexagram falls on a wooden line and indicates a ghost, it means the ghost comes without any reason; the ghost attaches itself to the head of the family, making the illness difficult to cure; it is either the furnace or old wooden boards causing trouble, or something brought in from outside and placed in the back hall. In all these six cases, one should first look at the "Official Ghost line" to see which of the Six Spirits and Five Phases it is associated with, and then check the corresponding objects in the house accordingly.

青龍火鬼斷（六神入火爻所生古器吉凶之妙）：火鬼南方古墓磚，移來灶上已多年，司命不安因此物，更招外鬼入家中。朱雀火鬼斷：火鬼傷火日夜來，後門動土外生災，家主房中有一物，他人床櫃莫安排。勾陳火鬼斷：火鬼原來病不空，或因怪石隱堂中，更宜除去堂前器，外來箱簣莫相逢。

The Azure Dragon over a fire line indicates a ghost: this section discusses the auspicious and inauspicious effects of the Six Spirits falling on a fire line. It indicates that there are ancient bricks from a southern tomb that have been moved and used to build the stove for many years; the Kitchen God, Director of Destiny, is disturbed by these bricks; and it may attract ghosts into the house. The Vermilion Bird over a fire line indicates a ghost: this indicates continuous fire troubles day and night; the rear door breaking ground brings in external calamities; the house owner's room has an object; do not bring in beds or cabinets that have been used by others. Gou Chen over a fire line indicates a ghost: this indicates that illnesses never subside; or there is a strange stone hidden in the hall; one should remove objects in front of the hall; do not touch external chests, bamboo containers, or similar items.

塍蛇火鬼斷：火鬼香爐是外來，家神不喜故生災，不信但看寅午日，必然哭泣見悲哀。白虎火鬼斷：火鬼原來身帶黃，櫥房藏得有埋網，又兼一般奇異物，鐵瓶破損受生瘡。玄武火鬼斷：火鬼傷亡亦在家，床邊磚石作妖邪，東方有個四腳器，急除可免疾方差。

The snake spirit appearing on a fire line indicates a ghost coming from outside; the household spirit dislikes it, thus causing calamity; if you don't believe it, just observe the days of寅 and午, you will certainly see mourning and sorrow—寅, 午, and 戌 form a fire trinity, which is the appointed time. The white tiger appearing on a fire line indicates a ghost with a yellow color; there is a hidden net in the kitchen; there is also a strange object; an iron bottle is broken, and people will get sores. The black tortoise appearing on a fire line indicates a ghost of an accidental death is in the house; the bricks by the bed are causing trouble; there is a four-legged object in the east; remove it quickly, and the illness will be cured.

青龍金鬼斷（六神入金爻鬼交時占出古器）：金鬼從來是石精，個門移入在櫥庭，更有一般無用鐵，無財不旺有虛驚。朱雀金鬼斷：金生災是一盤，原來此物不團圓，或是他家舊什物，引得妖邪作禍纏。勾陳金鬼斷：金鬼生炎是一戈，年來作禍待如何，家神無位曾經火，致成病患自蹉跎。

The Azure Dragon over the Metal line as Ghost: This indicates that the Metal Ghost has always been a stone spirit; it was brought in by a certain sect and placed between the cabinet and courtyard; there is also an useless iron object; this indicates poor fortune in wealth and also some alarming incidents. The Vermilion Bird over the Metal line as Ghost: This indicates that the disaster comes from a plate, which originally was not complete; or it is an old item from another family; thus attracting supernatural troubles. Gou Chen over the Metal line as Ghost: This indicates that the disaster comes from a spear-like weapon; it has been causing trouble recently, and it is unclear how to deal with it; the household gods are not properly positioned, and there was a fire; thus leading to illness and gradually wasting away.

塍蛇金鬼斷：金鬼家中鍋怪驚，引蛇入宅母雞鳴，床頭櫃上生二眼，夜間打鬼不曾停。白虎金鬼斷：金鬼家藏破器多，古鏡一片作怪魔，血財不旺皆因此，女崇傷亡奈若何。玄武金鬼斷：金鬼原來是墓神，後有古冢近山酃，拾得一個外來物，西方古器不團圓。

The snake spirit appearing on a metal line indicates a ghost: the family's cooking pot becomes a monster causing fear; a snake is brought into the house, a hen crows; two holes appear on the head of the bed cabinet; and the sound of chasing ghosts never stops at night. The white tiger appearing on a metal line indicates a ghost: there are many broken objects stored in the house; an ancient mirror becomes a demon; livestock are not thriving due to this; there are also female spirits and spirits of the dead causing trouble, making people helpless. The black tortoise appearing on a metal line indicates a ghost: this ghost was originally a spirit from a tomb; there is an ancient grave near the hill behind the house; an object from outside is found at home; and an ancient broken object comes from the west.

青龍水鬼斷（六神入五行所主出古器不祥之決）：水鬼應知足古門，溪邊有石外來存，門妖結連山石怪，急須除去免災屯。朱雀水鬼斷：北方水鬼來作怪，惹得家人日夕愁，更有刀剪藏深處，一繩懸在火爐頭。勾陳水鬼斷：水鬼家中有傘精，外來邪鬼或生驚，家中師主神符在，舊稱今來不見星。

The Azure Dragon over the Water line indicates a ghost: it signifies an old gate should be known; stones picked up by the stream are kept at home; the malevolent spirit on the door connects with mountain stones; it must be removed quickly to avoid many calamities. The Vermilion Bird over the Water line indicates a ghost: it signifies northern water ghosts causing trouble, making the family worry day and night; there are knives and scissors hidden away; a rope is hanging over the furnace. The Gou Chen over the Water line indicates a ghost: it signifies an umbrella has become a spirit at home; external evil spirits or people are frightened; there is a spirit tablet of the master in the house; an old scale now has its stars invisible.

塍蛇水鬼斷：水鬼家庭禍害精，占來曾有土邪神，兼個古窟未填得，不久門中有哭聲。白虎水鬼斷：水鬼漲水夢不祥，家中取得一枝槍，鋤頭也要來為怪，西畔宜填水窟傷。玄武水鬼斷：水鬼墳前有水流，土裡來歷不分明，或在後房破櫃畔，引來妖怪患非輕。

When the Snake Trigram is on a water line, it indicates a ghost: there is harm caused by malevolent spirits in the family; previously there was a spirit in the earth; there is also an old cave that has not been filled; soon there will be crying sounds inside the house. When the White Tiger Trigram is on a water line, it indicates dreaming of rising water, which is not a good omen; the family receives a spear; even the hoe will cause trouble; the water pit to the west should be filled to avoid damage. When the Black Tortoise Trigram is on a water line, it indicates water flowing in front of the tomb; something unearthed from the earth has an unknown origin; or it is near the broken cabinet in the back room; thus, a demon is attracted, causing serious trouble.

朱雀土鬼斷：土鬼有個不圓磨，更兼破門來作禍，當時宅內起官非，旺神有願宜還過。勾陳土鬼斷：勾陳土鬼有原因，祖墳曾被樹根穿，家中磨盤能為怪，屋頭有窟在西邊。塍蛇土鬼斷：塍蛇為鬼灶移場，灶神司命作災殃，桌臺後是別人物，須急送出卻無妨。白虎土鬼斷：白虎為鬼血財汙，年來不利養豬羊，大人不安小口病，應當禳解始寧居。玄武土鬼斷：玄武因何病女人，後門有石重千金，引得鄰家暗身鬼，急宜祛謝免災侵。

The Vermilion Bird presiding over the earth element hexagram indicates a ghost: there is a stone mill that is not complete, and a broken gate causing trouble; there will be disputes within the house; the vows owed to the god of destiny should be repaid. The Gou Chen presiding over the earth element hexagram indicates a ghost: there is a reason—ancestral graves were pierced by tree roots; the grinding mill in the house may cause trouble; there is a pit on the western side of the house. TheTeng Snake presiding over the earth element hexagram indicates a ghost: the stove has been moved, causing the god of destiny to bring calamity; there are belongings belonging to others behind the table, which should be removed immediately to avoid trouble. The White Tiger presiding over the earth element hexagram indicates a ghost: livestock are affected by filth, raising pigs and sheep has been unfavorable in recent years; adults are restless and children are sick; one should perform a ritual to appease the spirits to restore peace to the house. The Black Tortoise presiding over the earth element hexagram indicates a ghost: why is the woman ill? Because there is a stone weighing over a thousand catties at the back gate, attracting the ghost of a neighbor who died unexpectedly; one should remove the stone and offer thanks to avoid disaster. Note: In this section, the group of earth ghosts only includes five spirits, and the Azure Dragon is missing from the original text.

鬼入青龍：鬼入青龍病漸輕，堂前求食是亡人，鬼裡有人外面死，歸來人作怪妖精。鬼入朱雀：鬼入朱雀身命危，傷亡五道夢魂精，宜用求謝方且吉，若不謝保損病身。鬼入勾陳：鬼入勾陳弟兄求，在家夢夢魂送憂，家中若過年時節，公婆也容只見愁。

This section is the opposite of the previous one: the previous section discussed the Six Spirits in relation to the Five Phases, while here it discusses the "Official Ghost" hexagram falling on the Six Spirits. The Official Ghost hexagram over the Azure Dragon indicates that the illness is gradually improving; a deceased relative is seeking food in the hall; someone in the family has died outside and their soul returns to cause disturbances. The Official Ghost hexagram over the Vermilion Bird indicates danger to life and property; it is the soul of a sudden death and the "Five Roads" deity troubling in dreams; one should pray to the gods and offer thanks for good fortune; if one does not offer thanks, the patient's condition will worsen. The Official Ghost hexagram over Gou Chen indicates that it is the soul of a sibling seeking help; there are frequent bad dreams at home, and the soul brings sorrow; during the New Year, even the grandparents' generation experience only worry and sorrow.

鬼入騰蛇：鬼入蛇你莫誇，外面更有神冤家，不時有願前時穴，更有宅居有些些。鬼入白虎：鬼入白虎哭哀哀，占病急去買棺材，秋冬若得多精怪，須防老幼免心懷。鬼入玄武：鬼入玄武定是凶，占病昏睡耳又聾，落水傷亡來求食，急宜保謝免災憂。

The official ghost hexagram falling on the snake indicates that this matter should not be taken lightly; there are other resentful spirits and enemies outside; there are often unfulfilled vows and unresolved burial matters; there are some issues within the household. The official ghost hexagram falling on the white tiger indicates that there will be sorrowful crying within the family; if divining about illness, one should hurry to buy a coffin; in autumn and winter, if this hexagram appears, there are often supernatural beings appearing; one must be cautious to prevent accidents involving the elderly and children, to avoid worry. The official ghost hexagram falling on the black tortoise indicates a凶 portent; if divining about illness, the patient will be unconscious and deaf; this is the soul of someone who died by drowning coming to beg for food; one should quickly perform rituals to appease and offer thanks, to eliminate disaster and worry.

慌忙來問事必凶，官司病者在床中，失物無尋產是女，縱然雖好也驚疑。衣冠來問必婚姻，卻是求謀或結親，接定卦宮推禍福，莫將亂語止他行。入門是大正無悠憂，大人擱路定不周，病是凶神為福守，自宜保度且無愁。入門便見老男兒，官司失脫卻無尋，病者安然無傷損，如喜枯木正逢春。

This passage discusses "listening and judging," which refers to the diviner's ability to predict the outcome of a question based on the visitor's demeanor, the items they carry, and what they have heard or seen, as additional evidence beyond the hexagram. If a person comes in a hurried and anxious manner, the matter they inquire about is likely to be unfavorable: a lawsuit will result in loss, the sick person will remain bedridden, lost items will not be recovered, and childbirth will result in a female child; even if the outcome is somewhat favorable, there will still be some confusion and uncertainty along the way. If a person dressed neatly comes to ask a question, it is likely about marriage, or about planning something or arranging a marriage; then, determine the fate accurately based on the hexagram's palace, and do not use irrelevant or meaningless words to dismiss the person. If everything is orderly and stable when the person enters, there will be no long-term worries; but if someone of high status is blocking the way, the matter will certainly not be complete; although the illness is caused by a malevolent spirit, there is a guardian deity protecting, so it should be protected and relieved, and there will be no worries. If an elderly man is seen upon entering, lawsuits and lost items will be difficult to find, but the sick person will remain unharmed, which is like a withered tree coming back to life, which is a pleasant sight.

入門孩兒哭啼啼，家門不吉有損虧，破財病患都皆有，婚姻諸了也相離。入門見一雞鴨隨，或在堂前或在西，官事消散人安樂，相喜和合枉生兒。入門見遇三人話，官事鬼動若如何，病者最是鳥雞子，閻王必要請回歸。入門見寧紗，家事主嘆嗟，官事人情貴，買賣多欠家。入門見柴木，買賣自得祿，三人同本去，求財決發福。入門見一燈，病者見凶星，齊神求為福，保度不相牽。入門一香，家宅大吉昌，官事即消散，病者得難床。

Upon entering the door and hearing a child crying: the family gate is not auspicious, there will be some loss, loss of wealth and illness will occur, even if marriage has been arranged, it will still end in separation. Upon entering and seeing a chicken or duck following, or in the hall or to the west: lawsuits will be resolved, people will be at ease, both sides will be happy and harmonious, and there will also be smooth childbirth. Upon entering and encountering three people talking: there will be ghosts interfering in lawsuits, the situation is worrying; when predicting illness, it is most inauspicious to see signs like 'bird's egg', the King of the Underworld will certainly call the person back. Upon entering and seeing white silk (the term 'ning sha' refers to plain silk mourning cloth): family affairs will only bring sighs, lawsuits will require personal connections to resolve, and business dealings will mostly result in losses. Upon entering and seeing firewood: business will naturally bring profit, three people pooling capital, seeking wealth will certainly bring good fortune. Upon entering and seeing a lamp: the sick person will encounter a malevolent star, they must fast and worship gods to pray for fortune, through rituals and offerings they will not be affected. Upon entering and smelling a stick of incense: the family residence is very auspicious and prosperous, lawsuits will be resolved immediately, the sick person will also be able to get out of bed and recover (the term 'de nan chuang' should be 'de li chuang').
