占產先須看子孫，子孫旺相吉堪論，母宮無殺為祥兆，子上加龍是善根。易產好占離與兌，難生休卜艮和坤，坎乾龍動身無慮，震兌勾陳命不存。父母莫教臨白虎，若臨其上必亡魂，騰蛇持世憂陰殺，玄武臨身忌浴盆。最忌土爻理本位，更嫌刑殺克兒孫，子孫發動忌空亡，白虎勾陳並不祥。

Divination regarding childbirth begins by examining the Son/Child爻. If the Son/Child爻 is prosperous and strong, it indicates a favorable outcome. If there are noInauspicious Sha (evil influences) in the Mother's palace, it is a auspicious sign. If the Son/Child爻 is further supported by the Azure Dragon, it is an even stronger foundation. If the two hexagrams of 离 (Fire) and 兑 (Lake) appear, childbirth will be easy. If the two hexagrams of 艮 (Mountain) and 坤 (Earth) appear, it indicates a difficult childbirth, and no further divination is needed. If the hexagrams of 坎 (Water) and 乾 (Heaven) appear with the Azure Dragon activated, the mother will be safe. If the hexagrams of 震 (Thunder) and 兑 (Lake) appear with Gou Chen (a malevolent influence) present, there is a risk to the life of the mother. The Mother爻 must not be influenced by the White Tiger; if it is, there will be a danger of a soul's calamity. If the hexagram of Teng Sha (a malevolent influence) holds the world position, there is a worry of malevolent spirits causing trouble. If the Black Tortoise is present, one should be cautious of the "bathtub"Inauspicious Sha (a harmful influence). The most dangerous situation is when the Earth爻 occupies the main position, and further, if there are punishments or attacks that harm the Son/Child爻. If the Son/Child爻 is activated but falls into the empty position, or if the White Tiger and Gou Chen appear together, these are all inauspicious signs.

子變為官胎裡死，官爻為子產而亡，母重子動俱難保，母靜子安皆吉祥。子母兩爻都旺相，有龍有喜便安康，陰宮陽現奇男子，陽變陰爻好女娘。子與母爻雖發動，青龍持世亦無妨，子孫重見龍交喜，決定齊生子一雙。欲扣孩兒分娩日，胎神沖破子生方。

The son's line transforms into the official ghost line, indicating the fetus is dead in the womb; if the official ghost line takes the position of the son's line, then both mother and child may die during childbirth. If the mother's line overlaps and the son's line moves, both mother and child are in danger; if the mother's line is still and the son's line is stable, both mother and child will be fortunate. If both the son's line and the mother's line are prosperous and strong, and there are also the Azure Dragon and Heavenly Joy, then they will be healthy and safe. If a yang line appears in a yin palace, the child will be a tall and outstanding boy; if a yang line transforms into a yin line, the child will be a good daughter. Although the son's line and the mother's line may both move, as long as the Azure Dragon holds the position, there will be no problem. If the son's line appears repeatedly and the Azure Dragon meets Heavenly Joy, it certainly means twins. To calculate the child's birth date, take the day when the fetal god is broken, which is the exact day the child is born.

道士緇流來問卜，身安世靜最為先，身爻克世堪諶用，世應比和樂自然。世若克身當退守，財來克世好求緣，六爻不動為清福，一位交重事變遷。財扶世上能施利，鬼交偏好謁官員，世臨白虎官司撓，身遇勾陳心事纏。父母克身師接引，青龍持世貴周全，勾陳帶殺多魔障，官鬼臨財被戝冤。

The道士 and the monk come for divination, and the most important thing is first to have the body line stable and the world line quiet. If the body line overcomes the world line, the divination is trustworthy; if the world and response lines are harmonious, it is natural to be peaceful and happy. If the world line overcomes the body line, one should retreat and stay safe; if the wealth line overcomes the world line, it is suitable to go out to seek support and connections. If none of the six lines move, it is a blessing of peace and quiet; as soon as one line moves, things will change. If the wealth line supports the world line, one can benefit from giving and receiving; if the official ghost line moves, it is suitable to visit officials. If the world line is accompanied by the white tiger, there will be legal troubles; if the body line meets the Gou Chen, there will be troubles and worries. If the parents line overcomes the body line, there will be guidance from teachers or superiors; if the azure dragon holds the world line, one will receive full support and success from noble people. If Gou Chen brings danger, there will be many obstacles; if the official ghost line is accompanied by the wealth line, one will be deceived by thieves.

兄弟勾陳同位動，謹防法眷外勾連，貴交父母師通聖，龍並子孫徒弟賢。父母重重身受克，斷然身被俗家牽，財空註疏徒勞力，鬼旺營謀枉費錢。亂動切須休入寶，八純卻好去參玄，艮坤只好棲巖谷，離巽偏宜隱市廛。龍虎交馳宜訪道，坎離輻輳好安禪，游魂帶殺休云水，一世休囚莫置田。

The brother's line and Gou Chen are in the same position and move together, so one should be cautious of fellow sect members colluding outside. When the Nobleman meets the parents' line, it indicates the master has attained profound understanding. When the Azure Dragon joins the children's line, it suggests the disciples are virtuous. If the parents' line appears repeatedly and the body line is attacked, it is certain that this person will be troubled by worldly affairs. If the wealth line is empty, writing commentaries on scriptures will be in vain. If the official ghost line is prosperous and strong, all efforts to make a living will be wasted. If the six lines are in disorder, one must not go into the mountains to seek treasure. If one obtains the eight pure hexagrams, it is appropriate to study the profound principles. If one obtains the Gen and Kun hexagrams, it is best to reside in mountains and valleys. If one obtains the Li and Xun hexagrams, it is more suitable to hide in the towns. When the Azure Dragon and White Tiger move together, it is suitable to go out and seek teachings. When the Kan and Li energies converge, it is suitable to sit quietly and meditate. If one obtains a ghost hexagram accompanied byInauspicious Sha (malevolent forces), one should not travel on foot. If one obtains a first generation hexagram but it is weak and confined, one should not buy land or property.

子動妻交還俗漢，世空身旺地行仙，身空不動頭頭道，應旺無魔處處禪。應偶世持生又合，神清身靜壽綿綿，忽然負結財身動，未免填還俗債冤。世應不和身妄動，了身達命待驢年，本身太歲臨身命，即日逢神得正傳。太歲火神加父母，天邊恩命定來宣，問予末後天機事，拈起筆來畫個圈。

The Children line moves, and the Wealth line also moves, indicating someone who is about to renounce the world. If the World line falls into an empty position while the body line is prosperous and strong, then it is a divine being who walks the earth. If the body line is empty and does not move, then everywhere is the Dao. If the Response line is prosperous and strong without obstacles, then everywhere is Zen. If the Response line is an even number and is yin, and the World line comes to generate and harmonize with it, then the spirit is clear and the body is tranquil, and the lifespan is long. Suddenly, theInauspicious Sha (evil killer) line, together with the Wealth line and the body line, moves, inevitably leading to the repayment of debts and grievances in the secular world. If the World and Response lines are not harmonious and the body line moves recklessly, wanting to end this life and understand the true nature of life and death, one can only wait until the time of the donkey and horse. The person's birth year's Tai Sui (Great Year) is on the body line and the life line. On that day, encountering a wise person can lead to the transmission of the true teachings. If the Tai Sui, which belongs to the fire deity, also affects the Parents line, the heavenly decree of mercy will surely come down. As for the last layer of heavenly mystery, I only pick up my pen and draw a circle.

凡占儒業究諸身，身世相生藝必精，父母生身文可立，子孫克世學無成。父爻旺相加朱雀，雄辯高言大有聲，兄動妻交身不旺，卻因聰慧誤前程。陰陽互旺宜參請，內外比和足講明，子旺身空窮措大，財因世廢困書生。兄弟若犯騰蛇上，縱有文章不顯名，玄武克身休合伴，勾陳傷世莫親朋。青龍持世功名大，天喜同官道業亨，朱雀並財宜作館，勾陳同鬼莫遊行。

When divining about academic pursuits and examinations, one must examine the situation in relation to oneself. If the body line and the world line are mutually supportive, one's skills and learning will certainly advance. If the parents line supports the body line, one's writings and knowledge will be established. However, if the children line overcomes the world line, academic success will be difficult, as the children line overcoming the official ghost line will diminish one's official status. If the parents line is prosperous and strong, and also joined by the vermilion bird, it indicates eloquent speech and great reputation. If the siblings line is active and the wealth line is also active, but the body line is weak, one may fail due to overconfidence in one's intelligence. When yin and yang lines are both strong and in harmony, it is suitable to seek guidance from a teacher. When the inner and outer trigrams are harmonious, one can clearly discuss matters. If the children line is strong but the body line is empty, one is a poor scholar. If the wealth line is weakened by the decline of the world line, one is a struggling scholar. If the siblings line is afflicted by the snake, even with good writings, one will not gain fame. If the black tortoise overcomes the body line, one should not collaborate with others. If the gou chen line injures the world line, one should not be overly close to peers. If the azure dragon holds the world line, one's official status will be great. If the heavenly joy and the official ghost line are together, one's scholarly path will be smooth. If the vermilion bird and the wealth line are both present, it is suitable to set up a school and teach students. If the gou chen and the official ghost line are together, one should not go out to study elsewhere.

世應既和身又旺，上書獻策必圖成，日辰龍德俱生旺，縣宰州官力主盟。祿馬貴人臨月建，公侯任責職非輕，天符值土應非阻，月建持金必有驚。父母最宜逢六合，世身切忌犯三刑，刑殺克身兼克世，陷身取辱誤平生。朝君不可逢屯蹇，面聖偏宜見晉升，那更天符持木德，高遷重任祿光榮。

The world line and response line are in harmony, and the self line is strong. Submitting a proposal and taking action will certainly lead to success. The day branch and dragon virtue are both flourishing, so the county magistrate and state official will support you. The禄神, post horse, and nobleman are all present in the month builder, indicating a position of high rank and important duty. The heavenly talisman is aligned with the earth line, so matters will not be obstructed; the month builder holds the metal line, which will certainly bring some false alarm. The parents line is most suitable to meet the six harmony, while the world line and self line must avoid the three crimes. If the criminal punishment harms both the self line and the world line, it will lead to personal disgrace and a lifetime of misfortune. If you wish to meet the king, you should not encounter the difficult hexagrams of 屯 and 蹇; if you wish to present your case in person, it is better to encounter the hexagrams of 晋 and 升, which indicate advancement. Moreover, the heavenly talisman holds the wood virtue, which signifies a high promotion and honor in position.

蒙童幼學子先推，子會青龍為上奇，朱雀克身多智慧，勾陳持土大愚痴。卦無父母難垂訓，身犯亡神爭禁持，朱雀空亡無學問，青龍旺相有鎡基。龍生身世攻書子，馬旺游魂逃學兒，父母喜神同位動，斷然博學廣文知。

Divining about a child starting school, one should first examine the Children's line. If the Children's line meets the Azure Dragon, it is an excellent omen; if the Vermilion Bird overcomes the body line, the child is likely intelligent. If the Gou Chen holds the earth line, the child will be quite dull. If the Parents' line is absent in the hexagram, there will be no one to guide or teach the child. If the body line is afflicted by the Wandering God, it will be difficult to control. If the Vermilion Bird falls into the void, the child will struggle with learning; if the Azure Dragon is prosperous and strong, the child has some foundation. If the Azure Dragon generates and supports the body line and the world line, the child is willing to study hard. If the Post Horse is prosperous and meets the wandering hexagram, the child tends to skip school. If the Parents' line and Heavenly Joy are in the same position and activate, it is certain that the child will be knowledgeable and famous for his literary achievements.

兩重父母多移學，亂動無常不守規，朱雀入離能寫字，青龍入兌會吟詩。坤官變動能修德，乾上交重會滑稽，乾震交重成事早，艮坤安靜立身遲。姤屯蹇困災須準，漸晉需升吉可推，地水火風能主事，前程定作貴人師。

When two parents' lines appear in the hexagram, it indicates frequent changes of schools; when the six lines are in disorder and unpredictable, it suggests the child is not disciplined. The Vermilion Bird entering the Fire hexagram indicates good handwriting; the Azure Dragon entering the Lake hexagram suggests the ability to recite poetry. When the Earth hexagram changes, it shows the ability to cultivate virtue; when the top line of Heaven moves, it indicates a talent for humor and wit. When Heaven and Thunder interact, success comes early; when Mountain and Earth are still, personal establishment comes later. If the hexagrams include Guo, Tun, Jian, and Kun, there will be misfortune, which should be taken seriously; if the hexagrams include Jie, Jin, Xu, and Sheng, they can be considered auspicious. If one obtains hexagrams related to earth, water, fire, or wind and they are the main elements, then the future is certain to be that of a teacher to a nobleman.

欲求教授訓童兒，情性先將八卦推，離體中虛明且智，坎宮內實信而威。震雷主動常遊學，巽順無常鎮改移，兌澤和柔能講習，艮山沉靜好謙卑。乾元剛果多嚴厲，坤土包容足禮儀，父子空亡都莫用，世身衰敗總休推。

To hire a tutor for a child, first use the Eight Trigrams to determine his nature. The Li hexagram has a hollow center, indicating a person who is intelligent and wise. The Kan hexagram has a solid center, indicating a person who is trustworthy and has authority. Zhen represents thunder, indicating a nature that is active and often travels for study. Xun is gentle but changeable, often leading to changes in path. Dui represents a marsh, indicating a person who is gentle and good at teaching. Gen represents a mountain, indicating a person who is calm and willing to be humble. Qian represents heaven, indicating a person with strong and decisive spirit, who is strict in teaching. Kun represents earth, indicating a person with earthy virtue, who is inclusive and follows proper etiquette. If both the parents' line and the children's line fall into the void, such a person should not be hired. If the world line and the body line are weak and lack vitality, there is no need to proceed further.

求財交易財為主，發動臨身財必取，卦若無財反落空，一世營謀不堪許。財爻持世或克世，一買一賣利百倍，克身又得青龍扶，積玉堆金何算計。財爻外動較艱難，財在內興人送至，外生內兮應生世，假使財輕也容易。應克世兮世克身，有財到底難成遂，世應比和身又安，資財平穩無憂滯。

Seeking wealth and engaging in trade both depend on the wife and wealth line. If the wife and wealth line moves and is connected to the self line, wealth is certain to be obtained; if the卦 lacks the wife and wealth line, it results in failure, and one's entire life of efforts is not commendable. If the wife and wealth line holds the world line, or comes to control the world line, one can gain profits a hundredfold from a single transaction. If it controls the self line but is supported by the azure dragon, then wealth accumulates in great quantities, beyond measure. If the wife and wealth line moves in the outer trigram, seeking wealth becomes more difficult; if it rises in the inner trigram, someone will bring wealth to the door. If the outer trigram generates the inner trigram, or the response line generates the world line, even if the amount of wealth is small, it is easy to obtain. If the response line controls the world line and the world line in turn controls the self line, even though there is wealth, it is ultimately difficult to achieve. If the world and response lines are harmonious and the self line is stable, wealth remains steady, and there is little worry or obstruction.

財生庫旺聚錢財，子動龍爻應稱意，財爻若值廢休囚，貨賤如塵宜措置。財爻旺相貴如金，有貨必須聞早棄，財爻不動財平安，遇殺逢空終破費。外鬼牽將玄武來，官災盜賊重重晦，劫殺臨財兼克身，闇昧小人切須忌。財交驛馬鬼神扶，買賣交成必遇貴。

The wife and wealth hexagram is supported and has a strong position in its repository, thus accumulating wealth; if the children hexagram moves and the azure dragon hexagram is strong, things will go smoothly. If the wife and wealth hexagram is in a weak and confined state, goods will be cheap like dust, and it is suitable to buy and acquire at this time. If the wife and wealth hexagram is prosperous and strong, goods will be expensive like gold, and if you have goods, you should sell them early. If the wife and wealth hexagram is quiet and unmoving, wealth will be safe; but if it meetsInauspicious Sha (evil killing) and falls into empty fate, you will eventually spend money. The outer hexagram's official ghost hexagram is accompanied by the black tortoise, indicating heavy troubles of official disasters and thieves. If the evil killing hexagram is on the wife and wealth hexagram and it also harms the self hexagram, those hidden villains should be carefully guarded against. If the wife and wealth hexagram meets the post horse and is supported by auspicious spirits, the business will definitely meet a nobleman.

兄弟同人是悔神，財憂財失身憂否，莫教朱雀又當頭，官司口舌相連累。白虎臨財雖有財，切須忌落入圈圚，折本傷財為什麼，只為妻財化兄弟，子孫化財宜利多，財化子孫更非細，卻又青龍水上來，摘山運海多饒利。勾陳交鬼必淹留，行貨臨官被戝偷，忽爾妻財化官鬼，雖然獲利被官收。

The brother's line and the person of the same hexagram together form a "regret god." When discussing wealth, it indicates worry about losing money; when discussing the self, it indicates worry about unexpected misfortune. Even more so, if the Vermilion Bird is in the leading position, one will be involved in legal disputes and verbal conflicts. The White Tiger is on the wealth line, although there is wealth, one must still be cautious of falling into a trap. Why does one suffer losses and damage to wealth? It is because the wealth line has turned into the brother's line. When the children's line transforms into the wealth line, there is great profit; when the wealth line transforms into the children's line, it is even more significant. If the Azure Dragon comes from the water, it will be a prosperous situation, with profits everywhere. When Gou Chen and the official ghost line interact, the matter will certainly be delayed. Goods being transported with the official line will be stolen by thieves. Suddenly, the wealth line turns into the official ghost line, even if profit is gained, it will be taken away by the government.

行商坐賈營財賦，切忌官爻臨本庫，不是官司送禍來，斷然被戝偷將去。地頭克身事未周，陰爻必是女人留，滿船載寶榮歸者，蓋為身爻克地頭。欲問錢財何日得，應在身財生旺日，假令乾用木為財，亥卯日辰為準則。

Whether one is a traveling merchant or a stationary trader, when engaging in business and managing wealth, it is most undesirable for the official ghost爻 to be positioned at one's own life storage position. This is either because legal troubles bring misfortune, or because thieves steal the goods. If the destination爻 overcomes the life爻, the matter will not be completed smoothly; if that爻 is a yin爻, it will certainly be detained by a woman. Those who can return with a full ship of treasures and glory are precisely because the life爻 overcomes the destination爻. To inquire about when the money will arrive, it should be on the days when the life爻 and the wealth爻 are strong and flourishing. For example, if the Qian palace belongs to metal, then wood is the wealth爻, so亥 day and卯 day are the criteria. This is because亥,卯, and未 form a wood trinity.

凡占六畜畜為身，假使占牛丑是真，喜見子孫並父母，怕逢劫殺忌亡神。卦內若無所肖者，卻將八卦象來輪，乾馬坤牛艮狗當，巽雞離雉兌為羊。震龍艮馬一般斷，坎豕為烏細審詳，巽兌白兮離又赤，乾玄震翠艮坤黃。更有旁通推本位，次推所屬身宮義，本身旺相保無虞，若值死囚災立至。

When divining about domestic animals, treat the particular animal being divined as the "body." For example, if divining about a cow, the yao (line) of the "Chou" branch is the main one. Favorable signs are the presence of the "children" yao and the "parents" yao, while encountering "劫杀" (plunder and killing) is feared. Avoiding "亡神" (wandering ghost) is also important. If the divination does not contain the branch corresponding to the animal being divined, then use the imagery of the Eight Trigrams to determine it: Qian represents a horse, Kun represents a cow, Gen represents a dog, Xun represents a chicken, Li represents a wild pheasant, and Dui represents a sheep. Zhen can also represent a dragon, and Gen can also represent a horse, and they are interpreted similarly. Kan represents a pig and a crow, which should be carefully examined. When discussing color, Xun and Dui indicate white, Li indicates red, Qian indicates black, Zhen indicates green, and Gen and Kun indicate yellow. In addition, refer to the "Six Positions Example" method to determine its position, and then consider the meaning of its "body palace." If the yao of the body is prosperous and strong, there will be no worries. However, if it falls in the "death" or "captivity" position, disaster will arrive immediately.

本身發動子孫推，正是生財長育時，更得青龍相助吉，殺神相併及傾危。本肖空亡分外愁，交重白虎血財憂，午爻帶殺當憂馬，未慮羊兒丑慮牛。更須推本究宮卦，坤旺牛兮乾旺馬，遇子加龍旺主人，見武同宮防盜者。死絕休囚本位持，牛不耕兮馬不騎，更遇殺來應病死，十占八九定無疑。

The moving line itself indicates action, and then considering theChildren line, this is a time for generating wealth and nurturing offspring. If aided by the Azure Dragon, it is favorable; but if combined withInauspicious Sha, there will be danger. If the line representing the animal sign in the question falls into the empty亡, it causes extra worry. If the White Tiger moves, there is concern about blood money. If the午 line carriesInauspicious Sha, there is worry about the horse; if the未 line carriesInauspicious Sha, there is worry about the sheep; if the丑 line carriesInauspicious Sha, there is worry about the ox. Also examine the main palace's hexagram: if the坤 is strong, the ox is strong; if the乾 is strong, the horse is strong. If theChildren line is also joined by the Azure Dragon, the household will flourish. If the Black Tortoise is in the same palace, there is need to guard against thieves. If the main line is in the dead,绝,休,囚 state, the ox cannot plow and the horse cannot be ridden; if further attacked byInauspicious Sha, it indicates illness or death, with eight or nine out of ten cases being accurate, leaving no doubt.

青龍旺相生財厚，六爻安靜無殃咎，若逢羊刃及三刑，決定遭他屠子手。財值青龍化子孫，驢騾牛馬保興生，牛強馬壯無他事，外旺乾剛內旺坤。父母重重化父母，一畜經年三換主，大殺來傷本肖爻，今朝換主明朝止。困頤噬嗑及明夷，鬼殺交重定剝皮，忽見青龍來救助，決無生育只尫羸。

The Azure Dragon is prosperous and strong, bringing abundant wealth and offspring; the six lines are quiet, indicating no calamities or mistakes. If the chart meets the Sheep's Blade and the Three Crimes, the animal will certainly be slaughtered by the butcher. The Wealth line is exactly the Azure Dragon and transforms into the Children line, ensuring prosperity and breeding of donkeys, mules, cattle, and horses. A chart showing strong cattle and sturdy horses with no other issues indicates that the outer trigram is the Heaven trigram and the inner trigram is the Earth trigram, both strong. If the Parents line appears repeatedly and transforms into another Parents line, an animal will change hands three times within a year. The Great Killing harms the line corresponding to the zodiac sign; today it changes hands, tomorrow it will be finished. If the hexagrams are The困, The颐, The噬嗑, and The明夷, with the Ghost line andInauspicious Sha interacting and overlapping, it will certainly suffer skinning and slaughter; if suddenly the Azure Dragon comes to help, it will only be unable to reproduce and weak.

應為蠶子世為人，世應相生福德臻，財是蠶官身是主，身財和合獲珠珍。主若生蠶多遂意，蠶兒受克枉勞辛，六爻安靜蠶平穩，一位交重險六親。有子有財全克兆，見兄見鬼大凶陳，交重父母平平斷，旺相休囚逐位輪。財爻若也持身世，管取絲綿千萬斤，更得青龍同位助，獲財百倍大光榮。

Divining about raising silkworms, take the Response Line as the silkworms and the World Line as the person raising them. If the World and Response Lines mutually generate, fortune and virtue will naturally arrive. The Wealth Line is the official star of the silkworms, and the body line is the master of the silkworms. If the body line harmonizes with the Wealth Line, one can gain great profits. If the master line generates and supports the silkworm line, the endeavor will be successful; but if the silkworm line is restrained, the effort will be in vain. If all six lines are still, the silkworm raising will be steady. However, if any line becomes active, it will endanger the six relations. If the hexagram contains both the Children Line and the Wealth Line, it is a very auspicious omen (the original text mistakenly says 'auspicious' instead of 'auspicious'). Seeing the Siblings Line or the Official Ghost Line indicates a great凶 omen. If the Parents Line becomes active, it is considered average. Regarding prosperity and decline, one must examine each line in turn. If the Wealth Line also holds the body line and the World Line, it is certain to yield millions of silk. If further aided by the Azure Dragon in the same position, the profit will be a hundredfold, bringing great honor.

本宮見子為生氣，財世逢官是耗神，鬼旺初爻苗不出，二爻蠶子有災迍。三四鬼旺無桑葉，最上官興繭不成，金爻是鬼二眠亡，木鬼三眠定受殃。水鬼定是遭風雨，土鬼多應病尰黃，鬼落空亡番作吉，鬼爻休廢反為良。鬼化子孫財帛厚，鬼化妻財大吉昌，鬼化兄弟收一半，鬼化父母晚絲強。

If the Wealth爻 enters the life爻, the illness is likely severe. If the Official Ghost爻 is on the body爻, the condition is even worse. If the body爻 is afflicted by Gou Chen, the danger is certain. If the life爻 is combined with the Black Tortoise, the illness is difficult to recover from. If theTeng Snake or White Tiger is present, there is worry about death. If both the body爻 and life爻 fall into the void, it is certain that the person will die. If the metal Official Ghost爻 is on the body爻, there is injury to the joints. If the water Official Ghost爻 is on the body, there is pain from blood and pus. If the fire Official Ghost is closely attached to the body爻, there is trouble from sores. Assign the Eight Trigrams to the body:乾 represents the head,坤 represents the abdomen,巽 represents the hands,震 represents the feet,兑 represents the mouth,艮 represents the nose,坎 represents the ears, and离 represents the eyes. Where the malevolent spirits are strong in a particular trigram, there will be illness in the corresponding part of the body. If theChildren line moves and the Azure Dragon rises, the illness can be cured. If the hexagram is《丰》, and also includes《蛊》,《困》,《明夷》,《夬》, and《同人》, they are all interpreted in the same way, indicating a serious illness.

占盜先推財鬼鄉，財爻安靜便無妨，內搖不離無安處，外動多應出遠方。鬼化為財須有望，財爻化鬼莫思量，妻財入墓無蹤跡，財犯勾陳在土藏。捉賊提防亡劫害，尋財切慮刃刑傷，子孫旺相終尋見，官鬼休囚必捉將。玄武鬼爻家裡動，原來家賊最難防，兩重官鬼勾連至，鬼落空亡自失忘。

If the official ghost line is moving within the inner trigram, the thief has not gone far but is unable to find a place to hide. If the official ghost line is moving in the outer trigram, it is likely that the thief has already fled far away. If the official ghost line turns into the wife and wealth line, there is still hope of recovering the lost property. If the wife and wealth line turns into the official ghost line, there is no need to look further. If the wife and wealth line enters the墓, the property has disappeared without a trace. If the wife and wealth line is affected by Gou Chen, the lost item is hidden underground. When searching for the thief, be cautious of the亡神 and劫杀. When seeking wealth, be most concerned about the羊刃 andThree Punishments causing harm. If the children line is prosperous and strong, the lost item will eventually be found. If the official ghost line is weak and confined, the thief will certainly be caught. If the Black Tortoise and the official ghost line are moving within the inner trigram, it is likely that the thief is someone from within the family, which is the most difficult to guard against. If the hexagram shows two official ghost lines, it indicates that someone has conspired with others to commit the crime. If the official ghost line falls into the empty position, the stolen property may have been lost by accident.

一世二世親鄰盜，三世四世不離鄉，五世六世他方鬼，鬼若生身必見贓。木鬼東方人是賊，金西水北細消詳，火光本是南方鬼，土鬼原來只在房。欲問賊人藏物處，鬼家父母處消詳，譬如火鬼木為父，竹木堆中及樹傍。不懼五行無準則，只愁財物落空亡。

A ghost爻 of fire is originally from the south; a ghost爻 of earth is originally within the family's house. To find out where the thief has hidden the property, look at the parents爻 of the ghost爻. For example, if it is a fire ghost爻, fire takes wood as its parents, so the stolen goods are hidden among bamboo or wood piles or near trees. Do not fear that the five elements have no rules to follow, but be worried that the property has fallen into the empty亡.

貴人持鬼官人賊，驛馬持官永健郎，玄武臨官僧取去，勾陳是鬼道偷將。陰爻胎鬼陰入盜，陽貴休囚官不良，陽鬼廢囚巫術輩，鬼爻旺相是豪強。

The nobleman is the thief when he holds the ghost爻; the post horse is the thief when it holds the official爻; the black tortoise is the thief when it is on the official爻, meaning a monk has taken it; the Gou Chen is the thief when it is the ghost爻, meaning a Taoist has stolen it. A ghost in the yin爻's fetal position is a woman entering the house to steal; a nobleman in the yang爻 but weak and confined is an untrustworthy official. A ghost in the waste and confined positions is a witch or fortune teller; a strong and prosperous ghost爻 is a powerful and influential person.

捕盜先推飛伏神，飛伏相生賊不真，飛克賊神須捉住，伏傷飛者反傷身。伏神帶殺休追趕，伏入勾陳賊自陳，內外世身依此例，內還克外定無因。應爻又是偷財者，若來克世曲難伸，欲知捕獲當何日，鬼敗財生定日辰。卜筮遺忘皆準此，身衰財廢不尤人。

To catch a thief, first examine the flying god and hidden god. If the flying and hidden gods are mutually generating, the person suspected is not the real thief. If the flying god overcomes the thief's god, the thief will certainly be caught. If the hidden god turns around and harms the flying god, the person catching the thief will be harmed by the thief. If the hidden god carriesInauspicious Sha (fierce killing), do not pursue the thief. If the hidden god falls into Gou Chen, the thief will confess on his own. The inner trigram and outer trigram, as well as the world line and body line, should all be analyzed in this way. If the inner trigram overcomes the outer trigram, there will be no way to catch the thief. The response line is the person who stole the wealth. If it comes to overcome the world line, the case will be difficult to resolve. To know on which day the thief will be caught, determine the day when the ghost line is in decline and the wealth line is in a state of generation. All cases of lost property are judged by this principle. If the body line is weak and the wealth line is ineffective, then the fault lies not with others.

公訟先推身殺鬼，身克殺爻應有理，劫殺克身理不明，身旺殺空憂散矣。論人切要殺扶身，被訴卻憂身克世，身旺殺空訴者輸，身衰殺旺身遭棰。殺身俱旺事遷延，身殺俱空公事止，劫殺臨官官事興，財加劫殺因財起。三刑持世莫興詞，六害臨身休後悔，父母臨身是劫並，決定爭差田屋契。

If the World Line is strong and theInauspicious Sha is empty, the plaintiff will lose; if the World Line is weak and theInauspicious Sha is strong, the person will be beaten. If both theInauspicious Sha and the World Line are strong, the matter will be delayed; if both are empty, the case will naturally stop. If the劫杀 is on the官爻, the lawsuit will arise; if the劫杀 is on theWealth (wealth), the dispute is about money. If the three刑 (triple刑) are on the World Line, do not file a lawsuit; if the six害 (six harms) are on the World Line, avoid regret later. If theParents (parents) are on the World Line and the劫杀 is also present, it is definitely a dispute over land or property.

外來克內被渠傷，內克外因渠不是，弟兄化鬼卒難休，鬼化弟兄多闇昧。玄武臨官防小人，騰蛇犯鬼多淹滯，青龍入鬼遇貴人，白虎臨官受刑制。鬼共勾陳牢獄災，鬼臨朱雀文書累，太歲克官赦解由，月建沖官官又罪。日辰克鬼脫應難，鬼剋日辰猶不易，身世克刑目下和，相併相沖還又至。

If the siblings爻 changes into a ghost爻, the matter will ultimately not be resolved; if the ghost爻 changes into the siblings爻, there is likely some hidden circumstances. If the Black Tortoise is associated with the official爻, one should beware of small people; if theTeng Snake conflicts with the ghost爻, there will be delays and obstructions. If the Azure Dragon enters the ghost爻, one may encounter a nobleman; if the White Tiger is associated with the official爻, one may face punishment. If the ghost爻 is with Gou Chen, there may be imprisonment; if the ghost爻 is with the Vermilion Bird, one may be burdened by documents. If the sovereign year overcomes the official爻, there may be a hope of pardon; if the month builder conflicts with the official爻, the official in charge may himself be punished. If the day branch overcomes the ghost爻, it will still be difficult to escape; if the ghost爻 overcomes the day branch, the matter will also be difficult to resolve. Although the body爻 and the world line爻 may mutually overcome each other, they are currently at peace; but once they come into conflict, troubles will return.

噬嗑明夷被杖笞，屯蒙大壯遭囚繫，雖云渙解保無由，也要世身爻有氣。天喜貴人要生身，大殺亡神莫持世，世應相生內外和，決定兩頭都沒事。劫殺官爻是禍根，空亡卻是相和義，妻財持世喜神扶，卻把托個人調治。青龍子孫是解星，生世生身謝天地，世旺身生命合神，是日官司當脫離。

If the world and response lines are mutually supportive and internal and external relations are harmonious, both parties will be safe.劫杀 and official ghost are sources of trouble, but if they fall into emptiness, they may instead indicate reconciliation. If the wealth line is in the world position and is supported by a joyful spirit, someone should be sent to mediate. Azure Dragon and children lines are stars that relieve misfortune; if they support the world line and body line, one should thank heaven and earth. If the world line is strong, the body line is supported, and the life line is harmonized with a helpful spirit, one will be released from legal trouble on that day.

Judgment: Gou is "meeting." Doing things will surely have opportunities, seeking official position will bring official success, seeking wealth will bring wealth; the sick person is uneasy, do not marry; divining about someone who has left home, they are indeed still on the way. The hexagram Dùn represents: heaven has mountain, it is the image of retreat; withdrawing brilliance, concealing sharpness to cultivate oneself; following the times and adapting to change, this is the way of wise and virtuous men; without harsh words or severe expressions, there is still authority, which can make petty men retreat. Judgment: Dùn is "retreat." All matters are suitable for yielding: lawsuits can be settled, people who have left home are blocked and detained, marriage is not successful, seeking wealth is not beneficial, the sick person is delayed, crops and silkworms yield little. The hexagram Pǐ represents: heaven and earth do not interact, all things do not grow; the wise person hides virtue to avoid hardship; not greedy for honor and wealth, content with ordinary status; when the adverse situation turns to favorable, blessings will naturally come. Judgment: Pǐ is "blockage." All matters are blocked and unsmooth: be truly concerned about lawsuits and theft; the family is still safe, crops and silkworms yield little; as long as one keeps to one's proper role and maintains the ordinary, disaster will be eliminated and blessings will gather.

觀象：風行地上順而安，莫作尋常一例看，一切營謀無不遂，生財旺相已遷官。斷：觀者望也，凡事有望，田蠶進益，家宅興旺，占婚最宜，求官為上，財聚病痊，獲福無量。剝象：艮山扶地邪傷正，厚下安居反得輿，小人剝極不知變，陷身取辱剝其廬。斷：剝者落也，剝落之義，動則有傷，靜則無悔，退則獲安，進則不利，藏器待時，剝極復治。晉象：日出於地晉文明，輝光普照德非輕，田蠶進益家興旺，職位高遷身顯榮。斷：晉者進也，進必有升，進身必遂，進事有成，行人未至，公訟不明，病者難瘥，財平稍平。大有象：火在天上為大有，順天休命育群生，光明普照無私曲，上下相通道大亨。斷：盛大豐育，所求必至，田宅昌榮，生財吉利，訟散病痊，孕生婚遂，除卻出行，般般稱意。

The hexagram Jin (Progress): The sun rises above the earth, symbolizing advancement and civilization; its light shines widely, and virtue is not light; agriculture and silk will increase, the family will prosper; official rank will rise, and personal honor will be achieved. Interpretation: Jin means "progress"; progress brings promotion: advancement in position will be successful, and endeavors will surely succeed; however, those who travel have not yet arrived, lawsuits are unclear, and the sick will find it hard to recover, while wealth remains average. The hexagram Dàyǒu (Great Possession): Fire in the sky, symbolizing great possession; following the heavenly way and perfecting one's destiny to nurture all beings; light shines universally, without partiality or injustice; communication between above and below is smooth, and the path is fully open. Interpretation: Dàyǒu signifies great abundance: all desired things will be obtained, the family and home will flourish, wealth is auspicious, lawsuits will be resolved, illness will be cured, pregnancy will result in birth, and marriage will be successful; except for travel, everything will be satisfactory.
