一入東方寅卯辰乙之支，衰木得此，殆猶枯木之逢春也，則富貴不豐且厚乎。運入巳中，有庚金損木，推其不利，入午未辰地，午中巳土，又且損刃，則死之理，亦可知矣。

If earth is born in the Wei month and the four pillars contain a lot of earth, it is usually considered as fiery and dry earth, and thus cannot be regarded as the Cultivated Land Pattern.

但臨此月之土，見金結局者，不貴即富也。書云：「土逢季位見金多」終為貴論。若此造早年，行午運尚否，火傷金也。一行辛巳庚辰二運，衰金得此，財發數千萬緡。一入寅運，甲辰年，蝦蟆瘟死，家無瞧類，蓋為火克衰金也。

If there was only a little metal in the pillar, it would not be like this. 己巳、丙寅、甲寅、乙亥。盱江劉翰十一公，金木相停格。楠曰：甲生寅月術猶輕，木嫩金輕得兩停。運入西方金便勝，中和氣失少安寧。

則以壬火為破丙之病，辛金為破格之病，早行壬子癸丑，甚是平常，破壞丙火用神。望見東南，有木有火，有土克水，有火克金，病神淨盡，一發轟天，至庚申金水破格而死也。

丙行日主，結成火局，其火旺矣。原寅中有戊土，午中有己土，又時上透出己土，其丙火身旺，見此土而好洩其精也。正謂有病方為貴格。脫辛逢癸酉流年，克去甲木病神，所以早擢秋闈，甲戌年入亥運，原有甲木，得生於亥，正謂破傷官損壽元而死矣。

蓋正月戊己，帶木之寺也，而土神極衰，最畏旺木克之，入亥運甲木得生，其死也明矣。若天假之年，若行庚戌運，庚金克去甲木貴不可言也。凡日干旺者，見有食神傷官。雖在日時，亦只作傷官看，何也？凡日干旺，精氣滿畜，見有通洩血氣之處，則秀氣從之，不可泥執子平，只以月令上用神。
