夫人生柱中有純殺為用也，殺神無制，則為白屋窮途之人、或一豪門營干之士；故要逢制殺運，假殺而起，進用朝廷，操權威福，功不可量。

In a person's four pillars, if the pure seven killer is used and this killer god is not restrained, then such a person would be from a poor and humble background, destitute and in dire straits, or a servant working for a wealthy family. Therefore, it is necessary to encounter a fortunate period that restrains the killer, using this seven killer to rise up, be appointed by the court, hold power, exert authority, and distribute benefits, achieving boundless achievements.

制伏運一入財鄉，則能黨殺，便興禍患，如此官旺殺旺，運元恐失計。所以命黨殺運，倘來生凶，偶然遇流年財殺少旺，殺神相黨，併合興殃；身主孤寒剋害，輕則傾家徒配，重則刑棄其身，故其殺神併合，凶亡之可畏也。有如此殺刃者，一一難免禍患焉。

However, once the period of subjugation turns into the wealth area, wealth will join forces with the seven killers, and calamities will then arise; in this case, both the official star and the seven killer will be strong, and there may be a lack of calculation between the big year and the original destiny. Therefore, when the destiny meets the seven killer period, misfortunes will come. Occasionally, if the stream year's wealth and killer are slightly strong, the killer spirits will join together, combine to cause disasters; the day's main element is isolated and cold, and is harmed, leading to minor cases of losing property and wealth, being exiled or conscripted into military service, and severe cases of being punished by law and executed. It is evident that when the seven killer combines and unites, the image of calamity is most terrifying. Anyone who carries such a killer and a blade will inevitably face misfortunes.

又有柱中月令，正氣官星，為一生貴氣，惟逢印運則利，蓋官星喜逢財旺以生之，印旺以護之；故令其人能行仁布德、緯國經邦、權重爵高，所以貴也。後遇殺神旺鄉，殺神祿位，歲殺併臨，官化為鬼，喪身必矣。

Some people have a pure official star in their four pillars' month and day, which is the source of their noble destiny. They benefit only when they encounter the wealth and official star trines. This is because the official star prefers to be supported by strong wealth to nourish it, and also needs strong official star trines to protect themselves. Therefore, such people can show benevolence and virtue, govern the state, hold great power and high rank, and thus become noble. However, if they later encounter a strong seven killer star area, or move to a position where the killer star is prosperous, and the current year also coincides with the seven killer star, the official star will turn into a ghost, and death is certain.

不行殺運、或逢傷官運，又無印綬制之，傷官得地，祿遭傷損，喪妻剋子，剝職生災，立可見矣；更遇流年，儻他損官受剋，必致亡為慘惡。故欲官祿逢傷，而免剝戮者，不其難之乎？如有高見明識，知進退存亡之機，而保其身者；官祿逢傷，六親免禍，亦當自己受惡疾而終者矣！

Even if one is not encountering a killing destiny, if one meets a period of official injury without the presence of a seal to restrain it, the official injury will gain strength, damaging the official position, leading to loss of wife and children, demotion, and calamity, all manifesting immediately. If further encountering a stream year that also harms the official star and causes it to be overcome, then a terrible death is certain. Therefore, wanting to avoid loss and punishment when the official position is injured is even more difficult. If a person is wise and understands the subtle principles of advancement and retreat, and thus preserves himself, then during the period of official injury, the Six Relations may be spared from disaster, but he himself will ultimately suffer a severe illness and eventually perish.

又有四柱中所專用神，無官殺氣，惟偏財正財當旺而已；財神當道，隱隱興隆，積財聚寶，但少貴矣！欲知且看行運如何？若財逢官祿旺之鄉，又成富貴之局。設有不幸，財神脫局，陽刃相逢，財傾福敗，多患其凶；及流年沖合陽刃，財神盡傷，元命衰絕，陽刃生凶，敗亡極矣！

Some people's four pillars do not contain the energy of official stars or killing stars, but only the energy of biased wealth and regular wealth is strong. The wealth star is dominant, and the family business quietly thrives, accumulating wealth and treasures. However, there is a lack of noble energy. To understand their true situation, we should look at their fortune progression. If the wealth star reaches a place where official stars and killing stars are strong, they can achieve a prosperous and noble destiny. But if unfortunately, the wealth star escapes the structure and meets the Yang blade, the wealth will be ruined, blessings will be destroyed, and many misfortunes will occur. When the stream year again conflicts or combines with the Yang blade, the wealth star will be completely injured, the original destiny will be weak and exhausted, and the Yang blade will bring about evil consequences, leading to ultimate ruin.

夫，稟陰陽而生天地間，故造化之賦於人也，稟造化而生；物亦如之，莫不由陰陽變化。是故，推人吉凶休咎，斯理昭著；然術家之法固多，究徵索子平之外未有矣！

Human beings receive the energies of yin and yang and are born between heaven and earth, so the forces of creation bestow destiny upon people, and people are born according to this creation. All things are the same; nothing comes into being without the transformation of yin and yang. Therefore, determining the auspiciousness, misfortune, rest, and calamity of people is a clear and evident principle. Although there are many methods used by diviners, upon thorough examination, there is no other method except the method of Zi Ping.

子平一法，專以日干為主，而取提綱所藏之物為令；次及年月時支以表其端。

The method of Zi Ping specializes in using the day stem as the main focus, and takes the hidden element in the month's stem as the current ruling god. Then it proceeds to consider the branches of the year, month, and hour, to reveal the various aspects and threads.

凡格用月令提綱，勿於傍求年日時為格；今人多不知其法，於此百法百失。

Whenever establishing a pattern, one must use the monthly stem as the main reference, and not look for another pattern in the year, day, or hour; nowadays most people do not understand this method, so they fail in every attempt.

譬如月令，以金木水火土為要，但有一事而定言之，若於傍求，則有失誤；取其月令實事，則以遍求輕重淺深格局破沖可也。

For example, when examining the month's ruler, one should determine which of the five elements—metal, wood, water, fire, and earth—is most important, and focus solely on that matter for judgment. If one looks elsewhere, there may be errors. After determining the month's ruler as a fixed matter, one should then consider the relative importance and depth of other factors, as well as whether the pattern is broken or conflicting. That would be sufficient.

西山易鑑先生得其變通，將干格分為六格為重：『曰官、曰印、曰財、曰殺、曰食神、曰傷官』，而消息之，無不驗矣！

Master Xishan of the Yi Jian text deeply understood the subtle variations and transformations within the system. He grouped the heavenly stems into six major categories for analysis: official star, academic credential, wealth, seven killers, food god, and injurious star. By considering these six categories, one can accurately discern the implications, and there will be no failure in the outcome.

其法曰：『逢官看財，逢殺看印，逢印看官』，斯有奧妙不傳之法。取四者不偏不倚、生剋制化，而遇破體囚為下運；有生有去為福，有助有剝為禍。其理深長，最宜消詳切當；不昧庸術，宜熟讀幸加勉焉。

His mnemonic is: when encountering a official star, look whether there is a wealth star to generate it; when encountering a harmful star, look whether there is an official star to transform it; when encountering an official star, look whether there is an official star to generate it — there are profound secrets in this that are not easily passed on. Take these elements without bias, and examine their mutual generation, overcoming, control, and transformation; if the pattern is broken or trapped, it is a poor fortune. Having a supportive useful god and removing the harmful god brings good fortune; fostering the harmful god and damaging the useful god brings misfortune. This principle is profound and requires careful consideration; do not be misled by superficial divination methods, but rather study thoroughly and strive to master it.

子平之法，以日為主；先看提綱為重，次用年日時支，合成格局，方可斷之；皆以月令為用，不可以年取格。凡看子平之數，取格不定，十有九差。

The method of Zi Ping is to take the day stem as the main focus. First, examine the month's stem, which is considered the most important, and only then use the branches of the year, day, and hour to form a pattern. Only after this can a conclusion be drawn. In summary, everything is based on the month's stem, and the year's stem should not be used to determine the pattern. When analyzing Zi Ping, if the pattern cannot be determined, out of ten times, nine will be wrong.

惟易鑑先生之法，月令用金只用金，用火只用火；八字水多卻取水，不來取火，況此差矣！以法斷之，誤其大半。是西山易鑑參透玄機，十八格內取六格為重，用相生，定格合局；仍用年日下，以推輕重淺深，萬無一失。

Only the method of Master Yi Jian is most proper: if the month's stem requires metal, use only metal; if it requires fire, use only fire. Some people, upon seeing a lot of water in the八字, change their focus to water and stop using fire, which is wrong. Following such a method would lead to many mistakes. Master Yi Jian of Xishan thoroughly understood the subtle principles involved. He selected six out of the eighteen patterns, emphasizing them, and determined the harmony of the pattern based on the principle of mutual generation. Then, he considered the circumstances of the year pillar and day pillar to assess the degree and depth of influence, thus ensuring accuracy without fail.

六格法曰：『逢官看財』，『逢財看殺』，『逢殺看印』，『逢印看官』。如用印不怕殺；是殺拘印，印拘身，還作上格取之。如四柱逢印看七殺；但有官殺在，運行官殺鄉，亦作貴格。

The method of six positions states: when encountering a official star (官), look at the wealth star (财); when encountering a wealth star, look at the seven killing stars (七杀); when encountering a seven killing star, look at the seal star (印); when encountering a seal star, look at the official star. For example, if the seal star is used as the main element, then fear of the seven killing stars is not necessary: the seven killing stars are restrained by the seal star, and the seal star also restrains the self, with the energy flowing continuously, thus still being considered a high-ranking pattern. When the four pillars encounter the seal star, it is important to check whether there is a seven killing star present; as long as there are both official and seven killing stars in the chart, and if the person's fortune moves towards the official or seven killing star's native land, it is considered a noble pattern.

月令通官，柱中遇財，財生官妙矣！乃富貴之格。柱中見財，要人財旺，至興發福矣！但見一殺，則以殺為重，不可又行財旺之鄉；乃財生殺旺，當作貧賤之格。凡格當以殺官言之。

The moon's influence connects with the official star, and if the four pillars also contain wealth, with wealth generating the official star, that is excellent, indicating a wealthy and noble destiny. Once wealth is present in the four pillars, both the person and the wealth must be strong, so that prosperity can arise. However, if there is a single seven killer, the killer should be considered more important, and wealth should not be strong; because wealth would generate the killer, making the killer even stronger, which is considered a poor and humble destiny. In general, when determining the pattern, one should always consider the official star and the killer first.

造化先須看日主，後把提綱看次第。四柱專論其財官，身旺財官多富貴。若還身旺財官損，只是朝求暮討兒。財官旺時日主強，紫袍金帶有何疑。

To investigate the principles of heaven and earth, one must first examine the day stem, then proceed to look at the monthly stem. In the four pillars, the focus is on wealth and official positions: if the day stem is strong and wealth and official positions are also strong, it often indicates wealth and high status. If the day stem is strong but wealth and official positions are damaged, then one is likely to be a beggar who has to beg early and late. If wealth and official positions are flourishing and the day stem is also strong, then wearing purple robes and girding golden belts as signs of wealth and honor is nothing to doubt.

財官旺而日主弱，運行身旺最為奇。日主旺而財官弱，運入財官名利馳。日主坐下有財官，月令相逢貴不難。富貴財官為總論，早年富貴祿高攀。

When the wealth and official positions are strong but the day master is weak, the most beneficial path is to encounter a situation that strengthens the day master. When the day master is strong but the wealth and official positions are weak, encountering a path that enhances wealth and official positions will bring fame and fortune. If the day master already has wealth and official positions in its position and the month ruler also supports and harmonizes with them, achieving high status is not difficult. Wealth and honor ultimately depend on wealth and official positions; such people will achieve wealth and honor early in life and attain high official ranks.

身旺無依更遷祖，不遷居死在外地。身旺無倚，損財傷妻、或是外家冷落、或過房入舍。身旺印旺，破財不聚；有財只好善破、或置物創屋、或門大而倉廩虛，內不足而外有餘。

If one's body is strong but has no support, they must move away from their ancestral home; if they do not move, they will die in a foreign place. If one's body is strong but has no support, they will lose wealth and harm their wife, or their maternal family will become cold and neglected, or they may be adopted by another family or marry into another family. If one's body is strong and the official star is also strong, they will suffer financial loss and be unable to retain wealth; even if they have money, they can only spend it on charitable acts or on purchasing goods and building houses; otherwise, their family may be large but their granaries empty, with surplus outside but shortages inside.

官喜露，露則清高。財要藏，藏則豐厚。殺藏官露，惡隱善揚；人生遇此，名振鄉邦。官殺太重身更強，一逢制伏作賢良。殺官拱印貴非輕，烜赫威揚定振名。

Official star (官星) prefers to be revealed in the Heavenly Stems; when it is exposed, it shows clarity and dignity. Wealth star (财星) should be hidden in the Earthly Branches; when it is concealed, it shows abundance. When seven killing stars (七杀) are hidden and official stars are revealed, it is the concealment of evil and the promotion of good; when a person has this configuration, their reputation will shake the local area and the country. If official stars and killing stars are too strong but the day master (日主) is even stronger, once they are restrained, they become virtuous and capable people. If killing stars and official stars support the seal (印綬), the noble aura is not light, and their prestige is great, certainly making a name in the region.

身居九夏火土多，相逢水濟貴中和；水火元來要既濟，管教名利振山河。生居三冬，水冷金寒；得火相扶，莫作等閒。

Those born in the ninety days of the height of summer when there is an excess of fire and earth must meet water to balance things, and the value lies in achieving harmony. Water and fire naturally form the 'Already Completed' situation, so they will surely cause great fluctuations in fame and fortune. Those born in the third month of severe winter, when water is cold and metal is frozen, if they receive fire to support them, this is not to be taken lightly.

火勢炎炎如無水，運行水鄉亦是美。水勢滔滔若無火，運入火鄉亦為奇。南方火炎，利入北方水運。北方水寒，利入南方火運。東方木多，宜入西方金運。西方金旺，宜入東方木運。

Fire is fierce but there is no water in the situation; even traveling to a water area is still beneficial. Water flows strongly but there is no fire in the situation; even entering a fire area is still remarkable. Southern fire is too intense, so traveling to the northern water area is advantageous; northern water is too cold, so traveling to the southern fire area is beneficial. Eastern wood is excessive, so traveling to the western metal area is suitable; western metal is too strong, so traveling to the eastern wood area is appropriate. In all cases, it is about correcting the excess by using the opposite, in order to achieve balance.

水火有既濟之功。金木有成名之論。五行得其相濟，威名榮振九天。三丘五行，辰戌丑未；若是重見，骨肉刑悲、父母不足、兄弟異離、親戚情疏，更虧妻子。

Water and fire, when properly combined, achieve the success of "Already Completed"; metal and wood, when properly combined, lead to fame and renown. Among the Five Phases, each supports the others, enabling great fame and glory that can shake the heavens. The term "three hills" refers to the four墓 places of Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei; if they appear repeatedly, there will be injuries and suffering to family members, deficiencies in parents, separation among siblings, distant relatives, and even losses to wife and children.

沖破提綱，多虧父母，或是刑、或是離異。身旺比肩坐驛馬，兄弟飄蓬好瀟灑。八字四馬總交馳，身榮勞碌任東西；倘有身閒心不定，動則風流靜則悲。

Those who break through the monthly stem and branch structure often suffer losses from parents, or face punishments, or experience separation. If the body is strong and the same stem is seated with theThe Post-horse, the brothers are often wandering around, yet they end up being carefree. If the four horse branches of寅, 申, 巳, and 亥 are mixed in the birth chart, even though the person may achieve honor and success, they will still be constantly moving and working hard, being driven in all directions. Even when they have time to rest, their minds remain restless. Once they move, they become restless and unfaithful; once they are still, they feel sorrowful.

財星入庫主聚財。財星入庫妻慳吝，謹守貲財不做人。若是財星坐四馬，妻賢無處不欣欣。官殺重重不帶財，妻能內助不和諧；公姑不敬妻無禮，奪卻夫權命所排。

The wealth star entering the storage indicates the ability to accumulate wealth; however, when the wealth star is stored away, the wife tends to be stingy, holding tightly to money and unwilling to be generous. If the wealth star is seated on the four horses of寅, 申, 巳, and 亥, the wife is virtuous and pleasant to be with. If there are many officials and enemies in the chart without the presence of wealth, although the wife may assist internally, the couple does not get along well. She is disrespectful to her in-laws and rude to her husband, taking over his authority—these are all predetermined by fate.

官星若也逢生旺，更得長生旺在時；子息聰明多俊秀，兒孫個個著緋衣。比劫傷官旺，傷妻更損兒；養子多不肖，乞養總非宜。日主七殺帶梟神，妻主虛胎小產多，血氣不調成血疾；更看行運又何如。

If the official star meets a flourishing and vigorous position, and if the growth and prosperity are located in the hour pillar, then the children will be intelligent and handsome, and each son and daughter will wear red official robes. If the same strength and injury star are strong, it will harm the wife and damage the children; even adopted sons are mostly not virtuous, and adopting others' children is generally inappropriate. If the day's main element is accompanied by seven killers and a hawk star, the wife is likely to have miscarriages and small deliveries, and blood disorders may lead to diseases related to the blood; the severity depends on the fortune flow.

男子梟食重重見，身弱多因癆病隨。女人梟食非為吉，產難驚人病亦危。女人官旺兼財旺，招得賢夫更好兒；若是財官俱受損，傷夫剋子守空帷。

A man whose destiny includes both the枭印 and 食神 appearing strongly is likely to have a weak body and often suffer from tuberculosis. For a woman, the simultaneous appearance of枭印 and 食神 is also not a good omen, as she may experience difficult childbirth and serious illness. If a woman has strong official stars and wealth, she will attract a virtuous husband and have good sons. However, if both wealth and official stars are damaged, it will harm her husband and children, leaving her alone in an empty room.

印綬旺身身更旺，為人刑剋主孤貧；若得官顯財又顯，亦為超群拔萃人。惹是招非，只緣水火相剋，或是目昏眼暗。女命若也傷官旺，坐下傷官會罵夫；朝暮喃喃口不絕，百年終見帶刑孤。

When the official star and wealth star are strong and the day stem is also strong, the person tends to suffer from many troubles and hardships, often being lonely and poor. However, if the official star and wealth star are prominent enough to consume this excessive strength, the person can still be outstanding and exceptional. They may cause trouble because water and fire oppose each other; such people often suffer from eye problems. For a woman's fate, if the injurious star is strong and the day branch is also occupied by the injurious star, she tends to scold her husband. She talks non-stop all day, and in the end, she will face troubles and be lonely all her life.

日如乙巳、戊辰、庚午、辛未，日干帶之，權貴之妻也；更主賢妻亦主貴，更看四柱又何如。又如丙子、丁丑、戊寅、己卯，生人遇此，皆因前道。辛巳、壬午、甲申、乙酉，俱是坐下財官，逢之富貴不少。

If the day pillar is Yi Si, Wu Chen, Geng Wu, or Xin Wei, the day stem is accompanied by these, indicating a wife of noble status; it also suggests a wise and virtuous wife, and the person themselves is destined for high status. The actual quality should be further examined through the combination of the four pillars. Similarly, if the day is Bing Zi, Ding Chou, Wu Yin, or Ji Mao, the reasoning is the same. Days such as Xin Si, Ren Wu, Jia Shen, and Yi You all have the stem sitting on a position that carries wealth and official rank, indicating considerable prosperity.

丁亥戊子並庚寅，日主逢之命不輕。辛卯丙申丁酉位，財官內隱顯聲名。己亥甲申見庚戌，印綬財官內裡藏；更得丙辰壬戌至，四時符印不非常。

On the days of Dinghai, Wuzi, and Gengyin, if the day's ruler encounters these, the fate is not light. On the days of Xinmao, Bingshen, and Dingyou, wealth and official positions are hidden in the branches, and they will eventually become evident. If Jihai and Jiashen appear along with Gengxu, the official position and wealth are hidden within; if further accompanied by Bingchen and Renxu, the four seasons' energies and the seal are in harmony, which is extraordinary.

甲子丙寅與丁卯、己巳壬辰癸巳同，虛名虛利任飄蓬。乙亥庚申並己巳，生下財官並無有；妻宮子女帶虛花，東西南北是身家。

On the days of Jiazi, Bingyin, Dingmao, Jisi, Renchen, Guisi, and Gengshen, there is nothing but empty reputation and false gains, and he will be wandering around without a fixed place. On the days of Yihai, Gengshen, and Jisi, he has neither wealth nor official position in his position; his wife and children are all empty and not substantial, and his property is scattered everywhere in all directions.

甲午戊戌並庚子，女剋丈夫男剋子。乙巳丙午丁未同，重重壬子主孤窮。甲寅乙卯與戊午，支干同類子不足。己未庚申及癸亥，月令更旺成禍害。

On Jiawu, Wuxu, and Gengzi days, women will control their husbands and men will control their sons. On Yisi, Bingwu, and Dingwei days, if they are repeatedly accompanied by Renzi to clash and control, it indicates loneliness and poverty. On Jiayin, Yimao, and Wuwu days, when the heavenly stem and earthly branch belong to the same category, there will be few descendants. On Jiwei, Gengshen, and Guihai days, if the month's strength is further enhanced, it will bring misfortune.

月主財官印綬全，月時符合福綿綿。干支同類併身旺，剋子刑妻破祖田。好將四柱分強弱，莫犯陰陽執一言；此是五行真妙訣，不逢智者莫虛傳。

When the month pillar has wealth, official power, and official seal all present, and the month and hour pillars are in harmony with each other, there will be continuous good fortune. If the heavenly stem and earthly branch belong to the same category and the day master is strong, it may lead to difficulties in having children, marital discord, and loss of ancestral property. In general, one should carefully distinguish the strength and weakness of the four pillars, and not rigidly adhere to a fixed statement about yin and yang. This is the true secret of the Five Phases. Without encountering a wise person, do not easily pass it on.

過房七殺帶三刑，母明父暗是偷生。我明我暗從化象，父死之時不送靈。庚金化成火相時，父亡見血不須疑。

If the person's fate has seven杀 and also three punishments, it indicates they were adopted by someone else; the mother is clear about it, but the father is vague, and it is often a case of a secret birth. If the day's ruler is either obvious or hidden and follows the pattern of transformation by qi, then when the father dies, he cannot accompany the soul. If the庚 metal transforms into fire at the right time, the father's death will involve bloodshed, and this is not to be doubted.

比肩三合族人害，三刑零落及離妻。比肩暗損及門房，兄弟無情被罔欺。如帶比肩成別象，弟兄不睦報君知。

If the person has a companion (bi jian) that forms a triple harmony (san he), they will suffer harm from relatives of the same clan. If they carry the three punishments (san xing), their family will decline and they will also separate from their wife. If the companion is secretly damaging the family and household, there will be no affection among brothers, and the person will be deceived and bullied. If they have a companion but also form another pattern, there will be discord among brothers—this is something you should know first.

妻帶三合及坐妻，妻曾認得是親支。坐妻透妻成別象，定主離妻再娶妻。多透妻財須怕婦。妻歸絕地不生兒。

The wife star is accompanied by triple harmony, and the day stem is seated upon the wife star; this relationship is mostly between relatives. If the day branch is occupied by the wife star and the heavenly stem also reveals the wife star, forming another pattern, it indicates that the person will first divorce his wife and then remarry. If there are many heavenly stems revealing the wife star, the person is afraid of his wife. If the wife star is in the绝 (decline) position, he will not have a son.

化成別象剋正夫，必主欺夫禮義疏。身旺食強亦如此，食明旺相懵然殂。陽母專位主傷生，母來父上受其驚。天時地利生過月，七殺兼刑頂上偏。

A woman's destiny transforms into another pattern and overcomes her husband's, which inevitably leads to her bullying her husband and neglecting propriety and righteousness. If her body is strong and her food god is also strong, it is the same situation. If the food god is clearly present and overly prosperous, she may die suddenly. If the mother star, which is yang, occupies a single position, it indicates harm during childbirth. If the mother star moves to the position of the father star, the mother will be startled. If both heaven and earth are favorable but the birth month is delayed beyond the appropriate time, and there is also seven killing stars accompanied by punishment, the baby's head will be crooked at birth.

印歸殺地母有病。丙丁雙者頂雙靈。日祿歸時須應夢。小兒無乳食沖刑。壬子乙酉對偏生，丙戌丁丑妻獲靈。背父而生甲乙卯，此時須要記分明。

The person whose seal star falls into the seven killing position will have a sick mother. If there are both Bing and Ding in the chart, there will be two hair whorls on the head, indicating intelligence and grace. If the day's fortune is found in the hour, there must have been a dream omen at birth. If the child cannot nurse, it is because the food god is being harmed or afflicted. On Renzi and Yiyou days, the position of the fetus is opposite and slightly off, leading to birth. On Bingxu and Dingchou days, the wife is protected by divine spirits. He said, "At first, when I learned it, I went back and forth several times. Later, when I got this method, I realized it was not just an ordinary yin and yang theory, but rather a profound secret from another school of thought."

又論《心印口訣》：雙頂者，只可言八字，有雙丙丁者是也；若只一丙一丁，下有刑沖者，可言歪頂無失也。

According to the Heart Seal Oral Instructions, if someone has two hair whorls on their head, this should be interpreted from their birth chart, indicating two Bings or two Dings in their fate; if there is only one Bing and one Ding, but there is also a punishment and clash below, then it should be interpreted as a crooked head, and this interpretation will not be mistaken.

又一法。言人兒女麻面者，是戊己被甲乙剋之，不然面主有疤痕；戊己見乙巳乙卯乙亥是矣！如此遞相貫穿，天干地支，往來相剋，化合之氣，死生破敗，皆此所主也；

假令，六甲日，以偏陽土為父，陰土為妻，陽金子，陰金女；陽木陰木同法，餘皆倣此。妻星入敗地，主妻不正；如己酉、庚午、癸酉、丁丑，是財入敗地也。寅申巳亥，乃四長生，必得聰明妻。

For example, on six days with the heavenly stem Jia (甲), the yang stem Wu (戊) soil is considered the father, and the yin stem Ji (己) soil is the wife. The yang metal Geng (庚) is the son, and the yin metal Xin (辛) is the daughter. The yang and yin wood stems are divided in the same way, and the rest of the stems are treated similarly. If the wife star falls into the bathing (沐浴) position, it indicates the wife may have improper behavior. For example, Jiyou (己酉), Gengwu (庚午), Guiyou (癸酉), and Dingchou (丁丑) all have the wealth star falling into a weak position. The four positions of growth (长生) are寅, 申, 巳, and 亥. If the day branch is one of these, the person will marry a clever wife.

如壬癸生寅卯月，順運者：巳午運發財福，亦忌財神透露，歲運亦然，如遇財神透出，四柱元有陽刃比肩，因妻致禍；忌申酉二運，如四柱元有印者，百物更改，革故鼎新；如流年遇殺者凶；酉運裸形沐浴，劫煞主死。

For a woman with a yin heavenly stem, if she has many food gods and official stars, she is likely to become a courtesan; if there are other elements to remove these, she remains a respectable woman. If fire gathers in the heavenly stem, it often indicates the development of neck sores; if there is excessive fire in the earthly branches, it leads to sores on the body. If the seven killing stars are used as a basis but the killing stars are too weak, she is likely to become a leader among monks and Taoists.
