諱方智。元帝既被執。蕭𧫣自立為後梁。都江陵。王僧辯陳覇先。奉帝為梁主。承聖四年九月即位
Personal name Fangzhi. After Emperor Yuan was captured, Xiao Cha (the base text writes the character with a variant form; he is Emperor Xuan of Later Liang, Xiao Cha) set himself up as Later Liang, with the capital at Jiangling. Wang Sengbian and Chen Baxian installed him as ruler of Liang, and he took the throne in the ninth month of the fourth year of Chengsheng.

Personal name Kuo, son of Emperor Wen. Yuwen Tai installed him; he did not change the reign title but called it only the first year.

Year 2, in the ninth month Yuwen Hu demoted the emperor to Duke of Luoyang and soon after killed him.

Personal name Yu, eldest son of Emperor Wen, Yuwen Tai. Yuwen Hu installed him, and on taking the throne he changed the reign title to Wuding.
