Year 2, Hou Jing deposed the emperor and installed Xiao Dong, Prince of Yuzhang, in his place, and soon after killed the emperor. In the eleventh month Hou Jing deposed Xiao Dong again and usurped a title himself. Emperor Yuan attacked and beheaded him.
