In the Jiashen period, the Chief Symbol is "Tian Ren" and the Duty Gate is the Life Gate. The Central Palace's five numbers are assigned to the Gen Palace. At the Jiashen hour, the Xun direction has "Di Jia," and the Kan direction has "Tian Fu" and "Men He." On the negative side, the stars, gates, and Chief Symbol are all hidden, the Kun Palace has a lost odd number, and the Central Palace has "Ji Xing" and "Fu Gong Ge." At the Yiyou hour, the Kan direction has "Wu Jia," the Gen direction has "Long Dun" and "Men He," and the Qian direction has "Zhen Zha." All three directions are favorable with no negative aspects, making it suitable for planning near water and achieving things through objects. At the Bingxu hour, the Dui direction has "Chong Zha." Four auspicious formations are present; the inauspicious side is the mountain palace which has both the oddity burial and "Vermilion Bird Drowning in the River," the wind direction (Xun) has the time burial combined with "Crime Formation," it is advisable to take the northern and thunder directions and avoid the mountain direction. At Gengyin hour, the fire direction (Li) has "Rest Fraud" combined with "Wandering Wealth," the earth direction (Kun) has "Gate Union"; the inauspicious side is the earth and lake palaces having "Gate Reversal," the stars and chief symbol have hidden chant, the earth palace has oddity burial, and the central palace has "Flying Palace Formation." At Xinmao hour, the thunder direction has "Rest Fraud" combined with the three marvels ascending the hall, the northern direction has "Mutual Harmony" and "Gate Union," both directions harmonize and gain favor; the only thing to avoid is the fire palace having "Tang She Demon Deceit." At Yisi hour, the Kun direction has "Heaven Plate Chief Symbol"; the bad aspect is that the Qian and Kan Palaces have "Door Reversal," and the Central Palace has "Flashing Star Enters White Tiger," while the Qian Palace has "Azure Dragon Fleeing." At Bingwu hour, the best auspicious pattern is achieved: the Zhen direction has "Person Vanishes" and "True Fraud," the Dui direction has "Earth Pretender," the Kan direction has "Azure Dragon Returns" and "Heaven Plate Chief Symbol," the Li direction has "Yünu Guards the Door," and the Central Palace has "Qi Harmony"; the bad aspect is only that the Kan Palace also has "Flying勃" and the Gen Palace has "Great Obstruction," at this time it is suitable to hide and plan. At Gengshen time, in the Kun direction there is 'marvels combining', and in the Dui direction there is 'door combining'; the things to avoid are the Gen and Zhen palaces having 'door reversal', and the Central Palace having 'flying palace pattern'. Yang Dun covers nine situations, governing the four qi elements: Da Han Zhong Yuan, Mang Zhong Xi Yuan, Chun Fen Zhong Yuan, and Yu Shui Xi Yuan. In the Jia Zi ten-day period, the value symbol is "Tian Ying" at Jia Zi, and the duty gate is Jing Gate. On Jia day and Ji day: At Jia Zi hour, the Qian direction has "Xiu Zha," and the Gen direction has "Men He." The unfavorable situation is when stars, symbols, and gates are all hidden, which is suitable for maintaining the status quo rather than initiating new projects. At Yi Chou hour, the Li direction has "Yi He," and the Dui direction has "Men He." At Jisi hour, the West (Geng) direction has "Shen Jia" which is suitable for capturing the missing and conveying the dead. The North (Kan) direction has "Yi He" and also coincides with the "Tian Fu" hour. The only thing to be cautious of is the Heaven's Palace (Qian) direction with "Teng Sha Yao Jiao", which should be guarded against false alarms and strange occurrences. At Gengwu hour, the Heaven's Palace (Qian) direction has "Yu Nu Shou Men". The unfavorable aspects are the Mountain (Gen) and Thunder (Zhen) directions with "Men Fan". The Mountain (Gen) direction also has the Three Marvels entering the tomb, the Earth (Kun) direction has "Fei Gong Ge", and the Wind (Xun) direction has "Xiao Ge", leading to many obstacles on the roads. At Xinwei hour, there are no auspicious patterns: the Thunder (Zhen) direction has "Ji Xing", the Earth (Kun) direction has the marvels in the tomb, and the Central Palace has "Da Ge". At this time, vehicles should not move and travelers should not arrive. At Renshen hour, the West (Geng) direction has "Qi He", and the Fire (Li) direction has "Yi He". The unfavorable aspects are the Wind (Xun) and Fire (Li) directions with "Men Fan". The Wind (Xun) direction also has "Di Wang", the Earth (Kun) direction has "Ying Ru Tai Bai", and the Thunder (Zhen) direction has "Qing Long Tao Zou", so one should be cautious of loss or disappearance. At Guiyou hour, there are only unfavorable aspects: the Eight Doors have "Fu Yin", the Central Palace has "Tian Wang Si Zhang", the West (Geng) direction has "Tai Bai Ru Ying", and the Mountain (Gen) direction has "Bai Hu Chang Wang". At this time, it is only suitable to fortify and remain within.

The thing to avoid is when stars, symbols, and doors are all hidden, so it is advisable to remain still. At the Yihai hour, the Qian direction forms "Ding Wonder," which is favorable for secret attacks; the thing to avoid is "door reversal" in both Qian and Kan directions. On the Yi day and the Geng day: at the Bingzi hour, the Central Palace has "Long遁," the Gen direction has "qíhé," and the Zhen direction has "door harmony," all three directions are favorable; the only thing to avoid is the Dui direction with "fei bo." At Guiwei hour, the Kan direction has "Huan Yi" and "Men He"; the unfavorable aspect is the Eight Doors producing a Hidden Chant, the Gen direction having the tomb, the Central Palace having "Tian Wang Si Zhang", the Kun direction having "Ying Ru Tai Bai", and the Zhen direction having "Qing Long Tao Zou", which is suitable for remaining still.
