巨門：廟寅申卯酉，旺子午巳亥，陷辰戌。

The "Jumu" star is in its prime in the four palaces of Yin, Shen, Mao, and You, is vigorous in the four palaces of Zi, Wu, Si, and Hai, and is in decline in the two palaces of Chen and Xu.

巨日寅宮立命申，先馳名而食祿。巨日命宮寅位，食祿馳名。巨日申宮立命寅，馳名食祿。巨門子午科權祿，石中隱玉福興隆——富而子貴，辛癸人上格，丁己人次之，丙戊主男。巨日命立申宮亦妙。巨在亥宮日在巳，食祿馳名。巨在巳宮日在亥，反為不佳。巨日拱照亦為奇——假如日午宮巨在戌宮是也，多方論日忌陷。

The combination of 'Ji Men' and 'Tai Yang' in the寅 position with the natal palace in the申 position results in fame first, then salary. When 'Ji Men' and 'Tai Yang' are both in the寅 position and the natal palace is in the寅 position, there is also both salary and fame. If 'Ji Men' and 'Tai Yang' are in the申 position with the natal palace in the寅 position, it also leads to fame and salary. When 'Ji Men' is in the子 or午 position and meets the transformation of knowledge, power, and wealth, it forms the 'hidden jade in stone' pattern, indicating great fortune: both wealth and sons achieving high status. Those born in the 辛 or 癸 years are of the highest rank, while those born in the 丁 or 己 years are of the next level, and those born in the 丙 or 戊 years are likely to have sons. It is also good when 'Ji Men' and 'Tai Yang' are in the申 position. If 'Ji Men' is in the亥 position and 'Tai Yang' is in the巳 position, there is both salary and fame. However, if 'Ji Men' is in the巳 position and 'Tai Yang' is in the亥 position, it is not favorable. When 'Ji Men' and 'Tai Yang' are supported from three directions, it is considered a rare pattern. For example, if 'Tai Yang' is in the午 position and 'Ji Men' is in the戌 position. In general, one should consider multiple factors, but it is most important to avoid 'Tai Yang' falling into a weak position.

巨機居卯，乙辛己丙至公卿——不貴即富。甲人平常何也？因甲祿到寅，卯宮有擎羊破格耳。巨機酉上化吉者，縱有財官也不終——如值孤貧多有壽，鉅富即夭亡。加化忌尤凶，若太歲在遷移宮，財官化祿。巨門辰宮化忌，辛人命遇反為奇。巨機丑未為下格。

The stars 'Jumu' and 'Tianji' together in the Mao palace indicate that those born in the years Yi, Xin, Ji, and Bing may attain high official positions and achieve both wealth and status. However, those born in the year Jia are only ordinary, because the 'Luchun' star of Jia year falls in the Yin palace, leaving the Mao palace with the malefic 'Qingyang' star, which disrupts the pattern. 巨門陀羅必生異痣。巨門羊陀於身命疾厄，羸黃困弱，盜而娼。巨門四殺陷而凶。巨火擎羊陀逢惡曜，防縊死投河。巨火鈴星逢惡限，死於外道。巨宿天機為破蕩——女命巨機於卯酉，雖富貴不免淫佚，若陷地下賤。

If "Jumu" is in the body palace, life palace, or illness palace along with "Qing Yang" and "Tuo Luo," the person will be weak, pale yellow in complexion, and lacking energy; men may become thieves, and women may become prostitutes. When "Jumu" meets the four evils and is in a declining position, it indicates misfortune. If "Jumu," "Huo Xing," "Qing Yang," and "Tuo Luo" meet evil stars, one should be cautious of drowning or jumping into rivers. If "Jumu," "Huo Xing," and "Ling Xing" reach dangerous years, death may occur while traveling abroad. When "Jumu" meets "Tian Ji," it indicates destruction and wandering. For a female's chart, if "Jumu" and "Tian Ji" are in theMao Palace orYou Palace, although wealthy, they may still suffer from immoral behavior; if they are in a declining position, the person will be of low status.

七殺：廟辰戌丑未寅申，旺子午卯酉，平巳亥，無陷。

The "Seven Killers" star is in its temple position in the six palaces of Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei, Yin, and Shen, is vigorous in the four palaces of Zi, Wu, Mao, and You, and is in a balanced state in the two palaces of Si and Hai, with no palace where it is in decline.

七殺寅申子午，一生爵祿榮昌——為七殺朝斗格。七殺破軍專依羊鈴之虐。七殺廉貞同位，路上埋尸——觀廉貞內注，會耗於遷移亦然，若陷地加化忌尤凶。七殺破軍宜出外，諸般手藝不能精。七殺臨身命，流年刑忌災傷——逢紫微天相祿存可解。殺臨絕地會羊陀，顏回夭折。

The 'Seven Killers' in the positions of寅, 申, 子, and 午 indicate a fortunate destiny with honor, rank, and wealth, known as the 'Seven Killers Facing the Pole Star' pattern. The fierce nature of 'Seven Killers' and 'Break Army' depends on how 'Malefic of Injury' and 'Hidden-Fire Malefic' exacerbate their effects. When 'Seven Killers' and 'Lianzhen' share the same palace, it signifies a risk of sudden death or being left unburied, which can be further understood under the entry for 'Lianzhen'. If 'Seven Killers' is in the migration palace and meets 'Great Expenditure', the outcome is similar. If it is in a fallen position and combined with 'Transformation of Harm', the result is especially dangerous. People with 'Seven Killers' and 'Break Army' are suited for living and working outside their homeland, and they tend to master no single skill thoroughly. If 'Seven Killers' is in the body or native palace and encounters penal stars or transformation of harm in the current year, there will be calamity. However, if it meets 'The Emperor Star', 'Seal Star and Star of Livelihood', and 'Wealth-Salary Star', these can mitigate the effects. If 'Seven Killers' is in a dead position and combined with 'Malefic of Injury' and 'Malefic of Delay and Entanglement', it may lead to an early death, similar to Yan Hui.

七殺重逢四殺，腰陀背曲陣中亡——殺與鈴火，主陣亡，又有疾危。七殺火羊貪且賤，屠宰之人——七殺羊陀會生鄉，為屠宰。七殺羊鈴流年白虎，刑戮災迍。七殺流羊二官符，離鄉遭配——歲限俱到。七殺守照歲限擎羊，午生人命安卯西宮主凶亡——餘宮亦忌命限三合殺，流年羊刃到命，即七殺重逢，申酉宮忌，多忌限。七殺沉吟福不榮——男有威權，女無所施。七殺臨身終是夭。七殺單居幅德，女人切忌賤無疑。

"Seven Killers" meeting the four evils again indicates a hunched back and death in the battlefield: "Seven Killers" meeting "Bell Star" and "Fire Star" indicates death in battle, and is also prone to serious illness. "Seven Killers" meeting "Fire Star" and "Malefic of Injury" indicates greed and low morality, often being butchers. "Seven Killers" meeting "Yangren" in the "Growth" position also indicates being a butcher. "Seven Killers," "Malefic of Injury," and "Bell Star" meeting the flowing year "White Tiger" brings calamity and hardship. "Seven Killers" meeting the flowing year "Malefic of Injury" and two "Guanfu" indicates being exiled and sent away from home—this only occurs when the flowing year and the running limit arrive at the same time. "Seven Killers" sitting on the命宫 or shining on it, and the running limit meeting "Malefic of Injury," people born in the午 year who are in the卯 or酉 palace will have a fatal outcome; other palace positions also avoid having "Seven Killers" in the命宫 and running limit triple harmony. If the flowing year "Yangren" arrives at the命宫, it is considered "Seven Killers meeting again," especially the申 and酉 palaces are particularly dangerous, and there are many forbidden running limits. "Seven Killers" makes a person silent and melancholic, with hidden virtue not showing clearly: men may still have authority, but women have nowhere to show their abilities. "Seven Killers" sitting on the body palace indicates a short lifespan. "Seven Killers" alone sitting on the virtue and fortune palace, according to old sayings, is most dangerous for women, and is definitely considered low morality.

破軍：廟子午，旺辰戌丑未，陷卯酉。

The "Pòjūn" star is in its temple position in the Zi and Wu mansions, in its vigorous position in the Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei mansions, and in its fallen position in the Mao and You mansions.

破軍子午宮無殺，官資清顯至三公——甲癸生人合格，丁巳生人次之，丙戌生人主困。破軍貪狼逢祿馬，男多浪蕩女多淫。破軍暗巨同鄉，水中作冢——破與巨不同垣，恐照命宮或犯遷移。破軍火鈴，奔波勞碌。破軍一曜性難明——男女命論。破耗羊鈴官祿位，到處乞求——又貪狼在子午卯酉者，看貪狼內注。

"Breaking Army" (Pòjūn) in theZi Palace (Zǐgōng) andWu Palace (Wǔgōng) without malevolent stars, indicates an official position that is lofty and prominent, capable of reaching the rank of the Three Grand Ministers (Sāngōng). Those born in the year of Jia (甲) or Gui (癸) are qualified, while those born in the year of Ding (丁) or Si (巳) are of a lower rank, and those born in the year of Bing (丙) or Xu (戌) are likely to face difficulties. When "Breaking Army" and "Greedy Wolf" (Tān láng) meet with "Wealth-Salary Star" (Lùcún) and "Star of Movement" (Tiānmǎ), men tend to be extravagant and women tend to be promiscuous. "Breaking Army" and the hidden star "Great Gate" (Jùmén) being in the same native palace may lead to drowning in water. Originally, "Breaking Army" and "Great Gate" are not in the same palace, but they are usually seen to affect the native palace or conflict with the palace of migration. When "Breaking Army" meets "Fire Star" (Huǒxīng) and "Hidden-Fire Malefic" (Língxīng), one's life is filled with constant toil and travel. The nature of "Breaking Army" is the most difficult to grasp, and this applies to both male and female destinies. If "Breaking Army," "Great Expenditure" (Dàhào), "Malefic of Injury" (Qíngyáng), and "Hidden-Fire Malefic" (Língxīng) fall in the official position palace, one may end up wandering and begging. Additionally, if "Greedy Wolf" (Tān láng) is in the Zi, Wu, Mao, or You palaces, refer to the notes under the entry for "Greedy Wolf."

擎羊：廟辰戌丑未，陷子午卯酉。

The star 「Qing Yang」 is in its prime when it is in the four墓宫 of Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei, but it is in decline when it is in the four宫 of Zi, Wu, Mao, and You.

擎羊入廟富貴聲揚——加吉萬論。羊火同宮，威權壓眾——辰戍人佳，丑未次之。羊陀鈴火守身命，腰駝背曲之人。擎羊子午卯酉，非夭折而刑傷——午凶卯次之，子酉又次之。馬頭帶劍，吉多勿論。擎羊逢力士，李廣難封——甲生人命卯，丙生人命午，庚生人命酉，壬生人命子。吉多平常，加殺則凶。

Those with "Qingyang" in their temple are wealthy and famous, but this is only considered favorable when combined with auspicious stars. When "Qingyang" and "Huoxing" are in the same palace, they command great authority and dominate others; those born in the year of Chen or Xu are most favorable, while those born in the year of Chou or Wei are next. If "Qingyang," "Tuoluo," "Lingxing," and "Huoxing" guard the palace of the body and the palace of destiny, the person will have a hunched back and a bent waist. When "Qingyang" is in the palace of Zi, Wu, Mao, or You, the person will not die young but will suffer injuries; the palace of Wu is the most dangerous, followed by Mao, then Zi and You. This is called "Ma Tou Dai Jian" (a horse's head with a sword). If there are many auspicious stars, this does not apply. When "Qingyang" meets "Lishi," it is like General Li Guang of the Han dynasty, who found it hard to be granted a title of marquis. Those born in the year of Jia have their destiny in the palace of Mao, those born in the year of Bing have their destiny in the palace of Wu, those born in the year of Geng have their destiny in the palace of You, and those born in the year of Ren have their destiny in the palace of Zi. If there are many auspicious stars, the outcome is ordinary, but if combined with malevolent stars, it becomes dangerous.

羊陀火鈴逢吉發財，凶則忌。羊鈴坐命流年白虎，災傷——流年白虎，又到命宮也。擎羊對守在酉宮，歲迭羊陀庚命凶——除宮亦忌，守命宮有羊陀，流年遇羊陀為迭並。羊陀夾忌為敗局——假如安命在申宮，又逢忌星，羊在酉陀在未夾之，餘皆仿此為例。命歲凶，孤貧刑剋。若單守祿存無吉星同垣，亦有災殃之凶。羊陀流年鈴破，面字斑痕。擎羊火星為下格。擎羊重逢流羊，西施傾殞身——歲限重逢。

If "Qingyang," "Tuoluo," "Huoxing," and "Lingxing" meet favorable stars, they can still bring wealth, but if they meet adverse stars, they should be avoided. If "Qingyang" and "Lingxing" are in the native's命宫, and the current year also encounters "Baihu," it indicates disaster and injury—this means the current year's "Baihu" has reached the命宫. If both the native's chart and the current year are adverse, it indicates loneliness, poverty, and conflicts. If only "Luchun" is alone in a palace without favorable stars, it also brings calamity. If "Qingyang" and "Tuoluo" in the current year meet "Lingxing" and are broken by a clash, it may leave scars or spots on the face. If "Qingyang" and "Huoxing" are together, it is a poor configuration. If the native's chart has "Qingyang" and the current year also has "Qingyang," it is like the downfall of Xi Shi—this only happens when the current year and the running limit meet again.

陀羅：廟辰戌丑未，陷寅申巳亥。

The star Malefic of delay and entanglement is exalted in the four墓宫 (Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei), and falls in the four宫 (Yin, Shen, Si, and Hai).

陀羅巳亥寅申，非夭折而刑傷——余試得多離祖出外成家者亦吉，主生人有破相。

The Malefic of delay and entanglement falling in the positions of Si, Hai, Yin, and Shen indicates that although these individuals will not die young, they will suffer injuries. The author states: after verifying over the years, such people tend to be fortunate if they leave their ancestral homeland and establish a new household elsewhere, though they may have physical disfigurements.

火星：廟寅午戌，地巳酉丑，陷申子辰。

The Malefic of violence is in its exaltation in the three palaces of寅, 午, and 戌, in its strength in the three palaces of巳, 酉, and 丑, and in decline in the three palaces of申, 子, and 辰.

火鈴相遇，名振諸邦。火鈴夾命為敗局——如命安寅申，火星在丑，鈴星在卯。吉多尚可，惟夾忌。辰凶歲限巡遊者，此地亦吉。

The meeting of "Malefic of Violence" and "Hidden-fire Malefic" can cause a great reputation that shakes all states. However, if these two malefics are sandwiched around the命宫 (destiny palace), it results in a defeat. For example, if the命宫 is in the寅 (Tiger) or申 (Monkey) palace, the "Malefic of Violence" is in the丑 (Ox) palace and the "Hidden-fire Malefic" is in the卯 (Rabbit) palace. Those with many auspicious stars may still be acceptable, but the worst situation is when it forms a化忌 (transformed inauspiciousness). The original commentary also states: although the辰 (Dragon) palace is凶 (unfavorable), if the current year or limit passes through this area, it is still considered auspicious.

鈴星：廟寅午戌，地巳酉丑，陷申子辰。

The Hidden-fire malefic, "Ling Xing," is in its庙 (temple) position in the three palaces of Yin, Wu, and Xu, in its得地 (favorable position) in the three palaces of Si, You, and Chou, and in its落陷 (declined position) in the three palaces of Shen, Zi, and Chen.

火鈴旺宮，亦為福論。擎羊火鈴為下格——女人廟旺猶可，陷地下賤，貧窮夭折。

If "Fire Malefic" and "Hidden-fire Malefic" are in a prosperous palace, they can be considered as auspicious stars. When "Malefic of Injury" is combined with "Fire Malefic" and "Hidden-fire Malefic," it forms a poor configuration. For a female's chart, these stars being in a temple palace are still acceptable, but if they are in a declining palace, it indicates inferiority, poverty, and short lifespan.

魁鉞夾命為奇格——如命安在辰宮，魁在卯，鉞在巳宮是也。魁鉞命身多折桂——如吉方論，在命身最妙，三方次之。魁鉞昌曲祿存扶，刑殺無沖臺輔貴——命身妙三方次，見刑殺沖會者平常，只宜僧道。魁鉞重逢殺湊，痼疾尤多——殺乃羊鈴空劫。魁鉞輔星為福壽——二上在命，諸宮福壽雙全。

The configuration of "Tian Gui" and "Tian Yue" enclosing the命宫 is considered an auspicious pattern. For example, if the命宫 is in the Chen palace, "Tian Gui" in the Mao palace and "Tian Yue" in the Si palace would form this pattern. Those with "Tian Gui" and "Tian Yue" in their命宫 or身宫 are likely to achieve success in the imperial examinations. This outcome depends on having many auspicious stars; the best result is when they are in the命宫 or身宫, while being in the three surrounding palaces is次之. If "Tian Gui" and "Tian Yue" are further supported by "Wen Chang," "Wen Qu," and "Lu Cun," and are not afflicted by harmful stars, they may attain high official status. The best result is when they are in the命宫 or身宫, while being in the three surrounding palaces is次之. If harmful stars afflict or illuminate them, they may only achieve ordinary status and are suitable for becoming a monk or a Taoist. When "Tian Gui" and "Tian Yue" meet with harmful stars such as "Qing Yang," "Ling Xing," "Di Jie," and "Tian Kong," there is a higher likelihood of chronic illness. When "Tian Gui" and "Tian Yue" are combined with auxiliary stars like "Tai Fu," they indicate good fortune and longevity. If these two stars are in the命宫, they bring good fortune and longevity to all palaces.

左右文昌位至臺輔。左右夾命為貴格——如安命在丑宮，左輔在子宮，右弼在寅宮，四七十一月生者是也，若不貴則大富。右弼左輔終身福厚——在命宮遷移是也，三方次之。左右同宮披羅衣紫——辰戌宮安命，正月七月生者；丑宮安命，四月生者；卯亥宮安命，六月十二月生者。三方勿論。左右單守照命宮，離宗庶出——身命無正曜是也，若三方合紫微、天相、天府吉。左右貞羊遭刑盜。

"Left Auxiliary" and "Right Auxiliary" stars together with "Wen Chang" star indicate that one's official position can reach the level of "Tai Fu". When "Left" and "Right" stars are flanking the命宫 (life palace), it is a noble configuration: for example, if the命宫 is in the丑 (Ox) palace, "Left Auxiliary" is in the子 (Rat) palace, and "Right Auxiliary" is in the寅 (Tiger) palace, those born in the fourth, seventh, and eleventh months will have this configuration; if not noble, they will certainly be very wealthy. When "Right Auxiliary" and "Left Auxiliary" are in the命宫 or迁移宫 (migration palace), one's life will be prosperous and blessed, and if they are in the three surrounding palaces, it is less so. When "Left" and "Right" stars are in the same palace, the person will wear silk and official robes; those with命宫 in the辰 (Dragon) or戌 (Dog) palace and born in January or July, those with命宫 in the丑 (Ox) palace and born in April, those with命宫 in the卯 (Rabbit) or亥 (Pig) palace and born in June or December will have this; if they are only in the three surrounding palaces, this is not considered. When "Left" or "Right" stars are alone in the命宫 or illuminate the命宫, it indicates leaving the original family or being born out of wedlock; this refers to the situation where the身宫 (body palace) and命宫 do not have a main star. If the three surrounding palaces have the conjunction of "Zi Wei", "Tian Xiang", and "Tian Fu", it is auspicious. When "Left" and "Right" stars are together with "Lian Zhen" and "Qing Yang", they will suffer punishment or encounter theft.

左右昌曲逢羊陀，當生暗痣。左右財官兼夾拱，衣祿豐盈。左右魁鉞為福壽——三星在命論宮，福壽全美。若女命逢之，旺夫益子。右弼天相福來臨——諸宮遇福，丑未亥三宮不貴，縱貴不久遠，前當主富。若卯酉二陷宮，少稱心意。

The Left and Right Stars together with 'Wenqiang' and 'Wenqu' encountering 'Qingyang' and 'Tuo Luo' indicate a person is born with a dark birthmark. The Left and Right Stars in the Wealth and Officialdom sectors create a supportive configuration, leading to abundant clothing, food, andofficial stipend. When the Left and Right Stars join 'Tiankuai' and 'Tianyue', they signify a long and prosperous life. If these stars are in the命宫, they bring perfect fortune and longevity; for women, they enhance their husband's fortune and benefit their children. When 'Youbi' and 'Tianxiang' are together, good fortune comes, bringing blessings in all areas, though the sectors of Chou, Wei, and Hai are not prestigious, and even if they are, the fortune does not last long. Previously, they indicated wealth, but if they fall in the sectors of Mao and You, which are considered weak, there will be few things that go according to one's wishes.

祿存：十二宮中皆入廟。

The Wealth-salary star is considered to be in its proper position in all twelve palace positions.

祿存守於財宅積玉堆金——在命方可喜，化祿同科權更妙。祿存子午位遷移，身命逢之利祿宜。明祿暗祿，位至公卿。雙祿重返，終身富貴。祿逢沖破，吉也成凶。雙祿守命，呂后專權。祿存厚重多衣祿——諸宮降福，起家富貴。女人嫁夫招贅旺財。

The Wealth-Salary Star "L禄存" residing in the Wealth and Property Palace or the Real Estate Palace can accumulate wealth and treasure. If it falls in the Birth Palace, it is even more favorable. If it is further combined with the transformed Wealth, transformed Scholarly Merit, and transformed Authority, it is even better. When "L禄存" is in the Migration Palace of the Zi or Wu positions, encountering it in the Body Palace or Birth Palace is beneficial for seeking official positions and wealth. When the Manifest Wealth and Hidden Wealth are combined, one can reach the rank of high officials. When two Wealth Stars repeatedly meet, one will have a life of wealth and honor. If the Wealth Star is broken by a clash, a originally good fortune can turn into misfortune. When two Wealth Stars guard the Birth Palace, one can wield power like Empress Lu of the Han Dynasty. The nature of the Wealth-Salary Star is solid and substantial, often bringing food, clothing, andofficial stipend. It can bring blessings to all palaces, allowing one to become wealthy from scratch. For women, whether married or married into a family, it can enhance wealth.

祿馬最喜交馳——忌見殺羊火截路空亡，多主勞苦。天馬四生妻宮，富貴還當封贈。馬遇空亡，終身奔走。

Wealth-salary star and Star of movement are most favorable when they interact with each other. They are most unfavorable when encountering malefic of injury, malefic of violence, and star of blockage along with kongwang. Such combinations often lead to much hardship. If Star of movement falls in the夫妻宫 (marriage house) of the four life sectors (寅, 申, 巳, 亥), not only will one achieve wealth and honor, but the wife will also receive official recognition from the court. If Star of movement meets kongwang, a person will spend his whole life running about in vain.

科權祿合富貴雙全——祿存亦是祿，祿會祿存，富貴全會。巨武戍揚科，會魁鉞在命宮極佳，三方次吉，亦在凶多則不美。祿權命逢合吉，威權壓眾相王朝。權祿重逢，財官雙美——三方吉多方吉，因聚也不美。科命權朝，登庸甲第——或權或祿全更佳，為言祿逢迎格。

When the transformations of official title (化科), authority (化权), and wealth (化禄) come together, both wealth and status are complete. "Lusun" (禄存) is also considered a source of wealth, so if "Lusun" joins with "Lusun" again, both wealth and status are fully achieved. "Jumeng" (巨门) and "Wuqu" (武曲) in the戌 (Xu) palace can bring academic success, and if they are joined by "Tiankui" (天魁) and "Tianyue" (天钺) in the命宫 (destiny palace), it is best, but if they are in the three palaces, it is still favorable. However, if there are too many evil stars, it is not good. When the transformations of authority and wealth meet in the命宫 (destiny palace) with auspicious stars, they can command great authority and assist the dynasty. When the transformations of authority and wealth overlap, both wealth and official rank are favorable. However, it is better if there are many auspicious stars in the three palaces, though having them all together is not as good. If the transformation of official title is in the命宫 (destiny palace) and the transformation of authority comes to meet it, one can be selected for official appointment. The transformation of authority and wealth together is even better, which is called the "Lufengying" (禄逢迎) pattern.

化祿子午位遷移，夫子文章冠世。遷移在子午宮為對面朝天子——命太陽同化祿在午宮，合此格，餘宮要看吉凶科權祿來為貴格。如命安在子宮，祿在亥宮，權在丑宮，為夾貴，皆餘仿此。權祿重逢殺湊，虛譽之隆。科名陷於凶神，苗而不秀——如日戌、月卯，化科陷地，或又加羊陀劫空。祿主纏於弱地，發不主財。權祿守財福之位，處世榮華。權祿吉星奴僕位，縱然官貴也奔波。

The transformed wealth star falls in the position of the Water Goat (Zi) and the Horse (Wu) in the Migration sector, which may result in writings as outstanding as Confucius' of his time. The Migration sector being in the Water Goat (Zi) and the Horse (Wu) positions is called "facing the emperor directly." If the native's native sector has the Star of Brightness and Prestige (Taiyang) in the same sector and the transformed wealth star is in the Horse (Wu) position, then this pattern is fulfilled. Other sectors should be examined for their auspicious or inauspicious influences; only when transformed merit, authority, and wealth stars conjoin do they form a noble pattern. For example, if the native's native sector is in the Water Goat (Zi) position, with transformed wealth in the Pig (Hai) and transformed authority in the Ox (Chou), this is called "encircling honor." Other cases follow the same logic. When transformed authority and wealth stars meet but are accompanied by malevolent stars, it results in only a hollow reputation. If the merit star is located amongInauspicious Spirit (malevolent forces), it is like a crop that has begun to ripen but does not bear fruit. For instance, if the Star of Brightness and Prestige is in the Dog (Xu) position and the Wealth Star and Mother Star is in the Rabbit (Mao) position, and the transformed merit is in a declining position, or if malevolent stars such as the Malefic of Injury (Qingyang), Malefic of Delay and Entanglement (Tuo Luo), Plunder Malefic (Di Jie), and Star of Emptiness (Tiankong) are added, then it is not auspicious. If the wealth star moves through a weak position, even if it brings success, it will not bring much wealth. When transformed authority and wealth stars are in the Wealth sector and the Fortune Virtue sector, the person will enjoy worldly success and prosperity. If transformed authority and wealth stars are in the Servant sector, even if the person holds an official position and is esteemed, they will have to work hard all their life.

劫空夾命為敗局——假如命安在亥宮，劫在子宮，空在亥宮是也。歲限行到亦凶，夾忌亦凶，孤貧刑傷。劫空臨限，楚王喪國，綠珠亡。生處劫空，猶如半天折翅。劫空臨財幅之鄉，生來貧賤。

The combination of "Plunder malefic" and "Star of emptiness" enclosing the命宫 indicates a defeat. For example, if the命宫 is in theHai Palace, "Plunder malefic" is in theZi Palace and "Star of emptiness" is in theHai Palace, which according to the principle of enclosing the命宫, "Star of emptiness" should be in theXu Palace. If this occurs in the flow of the year or in the limit period, it is also ominous. If the enclosing is caused by a transformed evil star, it is even more harmful, leading to loneliness, poverty, and continuous injuries. WhenPlunder and Void appears in the flow of the year or in the limit period, it is like the King of Chu losing his country or the death of the green pearl from the Jin dynasty falling from the building. If the birth year's position meetsPlunder and Void, it is like flying halfway through the air and breaking the wings. IfPlunder and Void falls in the财帛宫 orFortune Virtue宫, one is born into poverty and low status.

天傷加惡曜，仲尼絕糧，鄧通亡。

The Star of Depletion and Injury combined with malevolent stars would lead to a situation as dire as Confucius being stranded between Chen and Cai, suffering from lack of food and firewood, or like Deng Tong of the Han dynasty, who went from wealth to poverty and eventually starved to death.

三夾命凶六夾吉——三夾是劫空火鈴羊陀是也，六夾是紫府左右昌曲魁鉞科權祿日月是也。若在命則凶多吉少，雖吉也凶；如吉多凶少，雖凶也吉。身命三方乃看廟旺。命無正曜，二姓延生——或過房出維隨母繼拜入贅，或又是庶母所生者。命逢吉曜，松柏清秀以難凋——身命官有吉星，太歲大小二限不利，末為凶，必太歲二限有凶，又且本生人所忌方凶。

Three malefics surrounding the命宫 indicate misfortune, while six auspicious stars surrounding the命宫 indicate good fortune. The three malefics are 「地劫」, 「天空」, 「火星」, 「铃星」, 「擎羊」, and 「陀罗」. The six auspicious stars are 「紫微」, 「天府」, 「左辅」, 「右弼」, 「文昌」, 「文曲」, 「天魁」, 「天钺」, 「化科」, 「化权」, 「化禄」, and 「太阳」, 「太阴」. If malefic stars are surrounding the命宫, misfortune will prevail, and even if there are auspicious stars, they will turn into misfortune. If there are more auspicious stars than malefics, even if there are malefics, they can be transformed into good fortune. Both the命宫 and the身宫, along with their three surrounding areas, should be examined to see if the stars are in their proper and flourishing positions. Those whose命宫 does not have a main star must be adopted by another family to survive: this could be through adoption, following the mother's remarriage and being rebaptized, or through marriage by entering another family. Those born to a concubine may also fall into this category. Those whose命宫 is occupied by auspicious stars are like pine and cypress trees, clear and refined, and not easily withered: if both the命宫 and身宫 have auspicious stars, even if the流年太岁 and the large and small limits are unfavorable, it may not result in misfortune. Only when the太岁 and the two limits themselves are malefic, and also directly conflict with the person's birth year's taboos, will misfortune really occur.

限逢凶曜，柳綠桃紅而易謝——命逢凶限廟旺猶發達，限凶星陷必凶。命實運生，如旱苗而得雨——如命限平常，三方有吉星，如限行美地為福。命衰運弱，如嫩草而遭霜——如命坐陷忌，歲限又逢惡曜，必刑傷死亡。命有吉星官殺重，縱有財官也辛苦。

When one's destiny encounters a bad star, it's like the green willows and red peach blossoms easily wither: if one's fate meets a bad time, stars that are in their prime can still bring success; but if the destiny is bad and the stars are in decline, it will certainly bring misfortune. If the original destiny is strong and the fortune is also supportive, it's like drought-stricken crops receiving timely rain: if the original destiny is ordinary and the fortune is also ordinary, but there are good stars in the three directions and the fortune leads to a favorable place, it becomes a blessing. If the original destiny is weak and the fortune is also weak, it's like tender grass suffering from frost: if the destiny palace is occupied by a declining star and meets a bad transformation, and the current year and fortune also meet bad stars, it will certainly lead to punishment, injury, or death. Even if the destiny palace has good stars, but the official symbol and evil stars are too strong, even with wealth and official positions, one will live a hard life all one's life.

三夾身凶六夾吉——夾忌劫空火鈴羊陀凶，六夾貴逢吉甚妙。身命俱吉，富貴雙全。身吉命凶，亦為美論。命弱身強，財源不聚。

If the three malefics surround the body宫, it indicates misfortune; if the six auspicious stars surround the body宫, it indicates good fortune: being surrounded by the afflicted star, the plunder malefic, the star of emptiness, the malefic of violence, the hidden-fire malefic, the malefic of injury, and the malefic of delay and entanglement indicates misfortune; being surrounded by the six auspicious stars and encountering auspicious stars is very favorable. If both the body宫 and the命宫 are auspicious, one will achieve both wealth and status. If the body宫 is auspicious but the命宫 is not, it can still be considered a good fate. If the命宫 is weak but the body宫 is strong, wealth will not be retained.

納音墓庫看何宮——如水生人墓辰，遇財官或祿存尤妙，遇遷移耗殺同為不美。生逢敗地，發也虛花——如年納音水土長生見甲申，乃金星為水宮之主，若安命在酉敗地，又逢羊陀忌耗七殺同不美，得祿存吉。絕處逢生，花而不敗——如水土絕在巳，安命在巳為絕地，卻得金星在巳生水不絕，方為得祿。

Looking at the storage place of the Nayin sound element's Five Phases: for example, if the Nayin belongs to water, its storage is in the Chen palace. If the Chen palace is the wealth palace, official palace, or has the Wealth-salary star, it is especially good. If it falls in the migration palace and is with the Star of great expenditure, it is not good. If the birth year falls in the Five Phases' decline, success will be like a fleeting flower. For example, if the Nayin water and earth have their growth in Shen, and there is Jiashen, then the metal star becomes the master of the water palace. If the destiny is in the You palace, which is the decline, and is with the Malefic of injury, Malefic of delay and entanglement, transformed忌, Star of great expenditure, and General star, it is not good. If there is the Wealth-salary star, it is auspicious. In the midst of despair, there is a new beginning; for example, water and earth are in the decline in the Si palace. If the destiny is in the Si palace, which is the decline, but the gold star in Si can generate water and does not lead to a complete break, this is considered to have the Wealth.

日月夾財加吉曜不貴則富——如財帛宮在未天府星守，日在午月在申夾財是也，餘仿此。左右財官兼夾拱衣祿豐隆——如左右同財帛宮，又或財官在丑日在子月在寅是夾也。

The stars "Sun" and "Moon" enclosing the Wealth Palace along with auspicious stars indicate wealth even without high status: for example, if the Wealth Palace is in the Wei palace guarded by "Treasury," and "Sun" is in the Wu palace while "Moon" is in the Shen palace, this forms a clasp around wealth. Similar cases can be applied accordingly. When "Left Assistant" and "Right Assistant" are present in both the Wealth and Official Palace, they form a supportive configuration leading to abundant clothing, food, and salary: for example, if "Left Assistant" and "Right Assistant" share the Wealth Palace, or if the Wealth and Official Palaces are in the Chou palace while "Sun" is in the Zi palace and "Moon" is in the Yin palace, this constitutes a clasp.

紫微輔弼多為財賦之官。武曲太陰多居財賦之任——不是武曲太陰同限度，取財帛宮遇武曲或遇太陰星，主為人多居財賦之任。紫府武曲居財帛，更兼權祿富奢翁。武曲貪狼財宅橫發資財——忌空亡。祿存守於財宅堆金積玉。

The star 'Ziwei' together with 'Zuofu' and 'Youbi' indicates a person who often holds official positions responsible for managing money, grain, and taxes. 'Wuqu' and 'Taiyin' also frequently take on roles related to finances and wealth — it is not necessary for 'Wuqu' and 'Taiyin' to be in the same house, but when the Wealth Palace encounters 'Wuqu' or 'Taiyin', it signifies that the person is likely to hold positions involving financial matters. If 'Ziwei', 'Tianfu', and 'Wuqu' are in the Wealth Palace and also receive the influences of power and wealth, then the person is a wealthy and extravagant individual. When 'Wuqu' and 'Tanlang' are in the Wealth and Property Palaces, they can lead to sudden wealth, but they should avoid encountering 'Kongwang'. If 'Luchun' is in the Wealth or Property Palaces, it indicates the accumulation of great wealth.

權祿守財福之位出世榮華。劫空臨財福之鄉生來貧賤。

The transformation of power and wealth is located in the Wealth Palace and Fortune Virtue Palace, leading to a life of honor and prosperity. The Star of Emptiness and Plunder malefic are located in the Wealth Palace and Fortune Virtue Palace, resulting in a birth into poverty and low status.
