所謂武曲守命福非輕，貪狼不發少年郎是也。廟樂桃花同宮，利己損人。七殺火星同宮，因財被劫。遇羊陀則孤克，遇破軍難顯貴。若與破軍同位，更臨二限之中，定主是非之撓。

希夷先生曰：天同南斗益算保生之星，化祿為善，逢吉為祥，身命值之，主為人謙遜，稟性溫和。必慈鯁直，文墨精通，有奇志無凶激。不忌七殺相侵，不畏諸凶同度，十二宮中皆為福論。

Master Xi Yi said: Tian Tong is a star in the Southern Dipper that increases longevity and preserves vitality. After it transforms into a fortune star, its benevolence becomes even more evident. When it meets auspicious stars, it brings good omens. Those whose body palace or life palace is occupied by Tian Tong are humble in nature, gentle by disposition, certainly compassionate and upright, skilled in literary pursuits, with unique aspirations but without fierce or perverse temperament. It does not fear the invasion of Qi Sha or the presence of many malevolent stars, and wherever it falls among the twelve palaces, it can be considered as a blessing star.

遇左右昌梁貴顯，喜壬乙丙生人，巳亥得地。不宜六庚生人居酉地，終身不守。會四殺居巳亥為陷，殘疾孤克。女人逢殺沖破，刑夫克子。梁月沖破，合作偏房，僧道宜之，主享福。

The Taiyin Star dislikes the Dark Star (Jumen) which causes confusion, and fears the Malefic of Injury (Qingyang) and the Malefic of Delay and Entanglement (Tuo Luo) to be in the same palace. If it is further invaded by the Prison Star (Lianzhen) or struck by the General Star (Qishash) then it is not a favorable palace, and must be interpreted as a place of injury.

若身命與破軍同居，更居三合之鄉生旺之地，男好飲而賭博遊蕩，好女無媒而自嫁，淫奔私竊，輕則隨客奔馳，重則遊於歌妓。喜見空亡，返主端正。

若與武曲同度，為人諂佞奸貪，每存肥己之心，並無濟人之意。與貞同，公庭必定遭刑。四殺同，定為屠宰。羊陀交併，必作風流之鬼。昌曲同度，必多虛而少實。與七殺同纏，男女淫邪虛花。巨門交戰，口舌是非常有。若犯帝座，無制便為無益之人。得輔弼昌曲夾制，則無此論。

If entangled with Qishan, regardless of male or female, he will be淫邪 and superficial. If in conflict with Juming, he will often have disputes over words. If Tianwang is conflicting with the Emperor star Ziwu without being restrained by other stars, he becomes a person who brings no benefit to others; but if restrained by Zaofu, Youbi, Wenchang, and Wenqu, it should not be considered so.

陷地逢生又生祥瑞，雖家顛也發一時之財。惟會火鈴能富貴，美在財帛與武曲太陰同，終非所自發，則為淫佚。在兄弟子息，俱為陷地。在田宅則破蕩祖業，先富後貧。奴僕居於廟旺，必因奴僕所破。夫妻宮男女俱不得美，疾厄與羊陀暗殺交併，酒色之病。遷移若坐火鄉，破軍暗殺並，流年歲殺迭並，則主遭兵火賊盜相侵。總而言之，男女非得地之星，不見尤妙。

Tianwang falling into the brothers宫 and children宫 are both considered bad positions; falling into the fields and houses宫 will lead to the loss of ancestral property, starting rich and ending poor; falling into the servants宫 while in a strong position will certainly result in financial loss due to servants and subordinates; falling into the spouse宫 leads to neither partner achieving a harmonious relationship; falling into the illness宫, combined with the malefic of injury, the malefic of delay and entanglement, the dark star and speech star, and the general star of severity, indicates diseases caused by excessive drinking and indulgence; falling into the migration宫, if located in a place where fire is strong, and also with the expenditure star, hidden malefics, and evil stars present, and with the annual master and evil stars叠加 in the year, it indicates suffering from military conflicts and bandits. In summary, Tianwang is not a favorable star for male or female destiny; it is better not to see it at all.

希夷先生曰：貪狼為北斗解厄之神，陟明之星，其氣屬木，體屬水，故化氣為桃花。乃主禍福之神，在數則樂為放蕩之事。遇吉則主富貴，遇凶則主虛浮。主人矮小，性剛猛威，機深謀遠，隨波逐浪，愛憎難定。居廟旺遇火星武職權貴，戊己生人合局。遇天相延壽，會廉武巧藝，得祿存僧道宜之。破殺相沖，飄蓬度日。女人刑剋不潔，遇太陰則主淫佚。

Master Xiyi said: Tanlang is the deity in the Big Dipper who resolves calamities, and also the star that can bring advancement and prominence. Its nature belongs to wood, and its body belongs to water, so its manifestation is Taohua. It is the deity who governs fortune and misfortune. In the system of star divination, it prefers to engage in reckless behavior. When it meets auspicious stars, it indicates wealth and honor; when it meets inauspicious stars, it indicates superficiality. Those with Tanlang in their destiny are usually of short stature, with a fierce and commanding temperament, deep and far-reaching schemes, yet they are easily swayed and their likes and dislikes are hard to predict. When Tanlang is in a strong position and meets the Malefic of Violence, it can lead to achieving power through military positions. Those born in the years of Wu and Ji are most suitable for this configuration. Meeting Tianxiang can prolong life, and meeting Lianzhen and Wuqu can indicate skillfulness in craftsmanship. MeetingWealth-salary star is most suitable for those who take up religious life. If it is attacked by Pojun and Qishan, one will live a life of wandering like a stray weed. For women, Tanlang indicates punishment and immoral behavior. If it also meets Taiyin, it indicates licentiousness.

答曰：巨門屬水、金。北斗第二星也，為陰精之星，化氣為暗。在身命一生招口舌之非；在兄弟則骨肉參商；在夫妻主於隔角，生離死別，縱夫妻有對，不免汙名失節；在子息損後方招，雖有而無。

The response says: The star Ji Men belongs to both Water and Metal in the Five Phases. It is the second star of the Big Dipper, belonging to the category of Yin essence stars, and its transformed energy is "darkness." When it falls in the palace of the self or the palace of destiny, it indicates that a person's life is often involved in disputes over words and verbal conflicts—here, "disputes" refer to arguments over speech and being criticized by others, not the meaning of "yes or no." When it falls in the palace of siblings, siblings are like the stars Shen and Shang, appearing and disappearing alternately, making it difficult for them to be harmonious. When it falls in the palace of spouse, it indicates that husband and wife are separated, even leading to parting or death; even if the spouse is still alive, they may suffer a bad reputation or lose their moral integrity. When it falls in the palace of children, it means that one child must be harmed first before another can be obtained, making it seem as though there are children, but in reality, it is as if there are none.

在財帛有爭競之意；在疾厄遇刑忌，眼目之災，殺臨主殘疾；在遷移則招是非；在奴僕則多怨逆；在官祿主招刑杖；在田宅則破蕩祖業；在福德其禍稍輕；在父母則遭棄擲。

The star of speech and dark star falling in the wealth宫 indicates constant disputes and competition over money. If it falls in the illness宫 and meets the star of punishment and the transformed evil, it indicates eye troubles, and if there are also evil stars present, it may lead to disability. If it falls in the movement宫, it brings troubles when traveling away from home. If it falls in the servants宫, subordinates often complain and rebel. If it falls in the official career宫, it brings punishment in the form of corporal punishment. If it falls in the property宫, it leads to the loss of ancestral property. If it falls in the fortune virtue宫, the misfortune is somewhat lighter. If it falls in the parents宫, it may result in being abandoned by parents.

希夷先生曰：巨門在天，司品萬物。在數則掌執是非，主於闇昧，疑是多非，欺瞞天地，進退兩難。其性則面是背非，六親寡合，交人初善終惡。十二宮中若無廟樂照臨，到處為災，奔波勞碌。至亥寅巳申，雖富貴亦不耐久。

Master Xi Yi said: The Giant Gate star governs the evaluation of all things in the heavens, and in the system of star divination, it holds the power to determine right and wrong, governing confusion and obscurity. It causes doubtful matters to be treated as facts, leading to increased criticism and deception towards heaven and earth, resulting in difficulties in both advancement and retreat. Its nature is to agree face-to-face but criticize behind one's back, making it difficult to harmonize with the Six Relations. In interpersonal relationships, it begins with kindness but ends in enmity. If the Giant Gate star is not supported by a strong or flourishing star in the twelve houses, wherever it resides brings disaster, leading to a life of constant toil. Even when it reaches the houses of Hai, Yin, Si, and Shen, although it may bring wealth and status, it is difficult to maintain.

會太陽則吉凶相半，逢七殺則主殺傷。貪耗同行，因好徒配。遇帝座則制其強。逢祿存則解其厄，值羊陀男盜女娼。對宮遇火鈴、白虎，無帝壓制，決配千里。三合殺湊，必遭火厄，此乃孤獨之數，刻剝之神。除為僧道九流，方免勞神偃蹇，限逢凶曜災難不輕。

The star Ju Men combines with the Sun star, resulting in equal chances of good and bad fortune; encountering the Qijie star indicates danger of injury. When traveling with the Tanlang and Pojun stars, one may be sentenced to exile due to indulgence in lust. Meeting the Purple Wei star, the oppressive nature of Ju Men is subdued; encountering theWealth-salary star star can resolve calamities. If encountering Qingyang and Tuoluo stars, men may become thieves and women may become prostitutes. If the opposite palace meets the Fire Star, Bell Star, and White Tiger, without the suppression of the Emperor star, one will certainly be exiled to a distant place. If all evil stars are gathered in the Triple Harmony palace, a fire disaster is certain. Ju Men is originally a star governing solitude and is a deity of harshness and deprivation; unless one becomes a monk or nun or engages in the nine streams of skills, one will suffer from mental strain and hardship. When this malevolent star appears in one's destiny, the calamity is severe.

答曰：天相屬水，南斗第五星也。為司爵之宿，為福善，化氣曰印，是為官祿文星，佐帝之位。若人命逢之，言語誠實，事不虛偽。見人難，有惻隱之心；見人惡，抱不平之氣。官祿得之則顯榮，帝座合之則爭權。佐日月之光，兼化廉貞之惡。

The star Tianxiang belongs to the Five Phases of water. It is the fifth star of the Southern Dipper, governing rank and position. Its nature is benevolent and virtuous, and its transformed energy is called "print" (印). It is a literary star in the official palace, located in a position to assist the Emperor star. If a person's命宫 (destiny palace) encounters Tianxiang, they speak truthfully and act sincerely. When seeing others in distress, they feel compassion; when seeing others commit evil, they feel indignation. If the official palace has Tianxiang, the person will achieve prominence and honor. When Tianxiang combines with the Emperor star Purple Micro, it can gain power. It can support the brightness of the Sun and Moon stars, and resolve the malevolence of Qianzheng.

身命得之而榮耀；子息得之而嗣續昌，十二宮中皆為祥福，不隨惡而變志，不因殺而改移。限步逢之，富不可量。此星若臨生旺之鄉，雖不逢帝座，若得左右，則職掌威權。或居閒弱之地，也作吉利，二限逢之主富貴。

The body palace and the destiny palace with the Seal star bring a life of honor and glory; the children palace with the Seal star indicates abundant descendants. The Seal star is auspicious wherever it is placed among the twelve palaces, bringing blessings and good fortune. It does not change its resolve due to malevolent stars, nor does it alter its nature because of harmful stars. When one's fate reaches the Seal star, wealth and prosperity are beyond measure. If this star is located in a favorable and thriving position among the Five Phases, even without meeting the Emperor star, as long as it is assisted by the Auxiliary Auspicious stars, it can wield authority. Even if it is placed in a scattered or weak palace, it is still considered auspicious, and during major and minor periods, it indicates wealth and honor.

希夷先生曰：天相南斗司爵之星，化氣為印。主人衣食豐足，昌曲左右相會，位至公卿。陷地貪廉武破羊陀殺湊，巧藝安身。火鈴沖破殘疾，女人主聰明端莊，志過丈夫。三方吉拱封贈論，若昌曲沖破侍妾，在僧道主清高。

Master Xiyi said: Tianxiang is the star in the Southern Dipper that governs rank and position, and its transformed energy is that of an official seal, indicating abundance in clothing and food. If it combines with Wenchang, Wenqu, Zuo Fu, and You Bi, one can attain high official rank. If Tianxiang is in a weak position and is joined by malevolent stars such as Tanlang, Lianzhen, Wuqu, Pojun, Qingyang, and Tuo Luo, one can only rely on a single skill for survival. If it is attacked by Hongxin and Lingxing, it indicates disability. For women, Tianxiang signifies intelligence and propriety, with aspirations surpassing those of men. If auspicious stars support it from all sides, one may receive imperial honors. If it is attacked by Wenchang and Wenqu, one may only serve as a concubine. For monks and nuns, Tianxiang indicates a noble character.

歌曰：天相原屬水，化印主官祿，身命二宮逢，定主多財福，形體又肥滿，語言不輕瀆，出仕主飛騰，居家主財穀，二限若逢之，百事看充足。

The song says: The Seal star and star of livelihood belong to the Water phase among the Five Phases. Its transformed energy is the seal, which governs official rank and position. If the body palace and life palace meet the Seal star and star of livelihood, wealth, blessings, and fortune will certainly be abundant. A person's physique is full and robust, speech is steady and not hasty. When entering officialdom, the career will rise rapidly. In daily life at home, food and money will be plentiful. If the great and small periods of life reach the Seal star and star of livelihood, all matters will appear abundant.

答曰：天梁屬土，南斗第二星也。司壽化氣為蔭為福壽，乃父母之主命化暴戾為祥和。於人命則性情磊落，於相貌則厚重溫謙，循直無私。臨事果決，蔭於身福及子孫。遇昌曲於財宮，逢太陽於福德三合，乃萬全聲名。顯於王室職位，臨於風憲。

The star Tianliang belongs to the Five Phases of Earth, is the second star of the Southern Dipper, and oversees longevity. Its transformed energy is "shade," which signifies good fortune and a long life. It is the ruling star of the parents' house, capable of transforming harsh energies into auspicious ones. When it falls in a person's命宫, their nature is bright and upright. In terms of appearance, they appear solid and steady, gentle and humble, and are upright and selfless. They are decisive in matters. The good fortune extends not only to themselves but also to their descendants. If Tianliang is present together with Wenqiang and Wenqu in the wealth palace, and also meets the Sun in the triple harmony position of the fortune virtue palace, this forms a complete pattern of fame and prestige. They can achieve success in the court, holding positions such as those in the Office of Inspection, responsible for overseeing and correcting matters.

若逢耗曜，更逢天機及殺，宜僧道，亦受王家制誥。逢貪巨同度而亂禮亂家。居奴僕、疾厄、相貌作豐餘之論。見廉貞刑忌，必無災厄克激之虞；遇火鈴刑暗，亦無征戰之撓。太歲沖而為福，白虎臨而無殃。論而至此，數決窮通之論也。命或對宮有天梁主有壽，乃極吉之星。

When the Tian Liang star meets the Po Jun star, which is a consuming star, and also encounters the Tian Ji and malefic stars, it is advisable to become a monk or a Taoist priest, although one may still receive imperial honors. If Tian Liang is conjuncted with Tan Lang and Ju Men, it will lead to disorder in etiquette and disruption of family traditions. When Tian Liang is located in the servant, illness, or appearance宫, it can be considered as having abundant resources. If it meets Lian Zhen, Tian Xing, and Hua Ji, there will be no worries of calamity or conflict. If it meets the Fire Star, Ling Xing, Tian Xing, and hidden malefic stars, there will be no disturbance from warfare or conflict. If the flowing year's Tai Suai star confronts it, it becomes a blessing; if the Bai Hu star is present, it does not bring misfortune. To this extent, one can decide the fortune and adversity of one's life. Those whose命宫 or opposite宫 have Tian Liang are destined for longevity, which is indeed a very auspicious star.

希夷先生又曰：天梁南斗司壽之星，化氣為蔭為壽。佐上帝威權，為父母主，生人清秀溫和，形神穩重，性情磊落，善識兵法。得昌曲左右加會，位至臺省。在父母宮則厚重威嚴，會太陽於福德，極品之貴。

Master Xiyi also said: Tianliang is the star in the Southern Dipper that governs longevity, transforming into protection and longevity, assisting the authority of the Heavenly Emperor, and it is the main star of the parents' house. It makes a person refined and gentle in appearance, steady in demeanor, upright in character, and skilled in understanding military strategies. If it is combined with Wenchang, Wenqu, Zuo Fu, and You Bi, one may attain high official positions in prestigious government departments. Tianliang in the parents' house indicates parents who are sincere, steady, and imposing in authority. When it combines with the Sun in the fortune virtue house, it signifies supreme dignity and prestige.

戊己生人合局，若四殺沖破則苗而不秀，逢天機耗曜，僧道清閒。於貪巨同度，則敗倫亂俗。在奴僕疾厄作豐餘之論。廉貞刑忌見之，必無克敵之虞。火鈴刑暗遇之，亦無征戰之撓。太歲沖而為福，白虎會而無災。

Those born in the years of Wu and Ji are most compatible with the Tian Liang star configuration. If the four malefics clash with it, it is like a grain stalk that has developed ears but fails to bear fruit, appearing empty on the surface. If Tian Liang encounters Tian Ji and Po Jun, it indicates a life of ease as a monk or hermit. If it is accompanied by Tan Lang and Ju Men, it leads to disorder in family relationships and disruption of customs. When located in the servant or illness宫, it is considered favorable. If Lian Zhen, Tian Xing, or Hua Ji are present, there is no need to worry about failure in conflict. 奏書會則有意外之榮，青龍動則有文書之喜。小耗大耗交遇所幹無成，病符官符相侵不為災論。女人吉星入廟，旺夫益子，昌曲左右扶持封贈，羊陀火忌沖破，刑剋招非不潔，僧道宜之。

When the Minor Loss and Great Expenditure Stars meet, nothing will be accomplished. If the Bingfu and Guanfu Stars come to interfere, it is not necessary to regard this as a calamity. For a woman's destiny, if Tian Liang is in a flourishing position along with auspicious stars, it will bring prosperity to her husband and children. With the support of the Star of Examinations and Documents, the Star of Talent and Eloquence, the Auxiliary Auspicious Stars, and the Auxiliary Auspicious Stars, one may receive imperial honors. However, if the Malefic of Injury, the Malefic of Delay and Entanglement, the Malefic of Violence, or the Changing Obstruction Star disrupts this, there may be punishments, disputes, and improper behavior. Monks and recluses find Tian Liang most suitable.

歌曰：天梁原屬土，南斗最吉星，化蔭名延壽，父母宮主星，田宅兄弟內，得之福自生，形神自持重，心性更和平，生來無災患，文章有聲名，六親更和睦，仕宦居王庭，巨門若相會，勞碌歷艱辛，若逢天機照，僧道享山林，二星在辰戌，福壽不須論。

The rhyme says: The star Tianliang belongs to the Earth element, and is the most auspicious among the stars of the Southern Dipper. It transforms into a protective influence, prolonging life, and is the ruling star of the parents' house. If it appears in the fields and homes house or the siblings house, good fortune naturally arises: one's appearance and demeanor are steady and composed, one's nature becomes more peaceful, one is born without misfortune, has fame through literary achievements, and the Six Relations become more harmonious. When Tianliang is combined with Jiumen, one's life is full of toil and hardship; if Tianji is present, it is suitable to become a monk or hermit, retreating to the mountains and enjoying a peaceful life. When Tianliang and Tianji are both in the Chen or Xu house, the fortune and longevity are even more remarkable.

答曰：七殺南斗第六星也，屬火、金。乃斗中之上將，實成敗之孤辰。在斗司斗柄，主於風憲。其威作金之靈，其性若清涼之狀。主於數則宜僧道，主於身定歷艱辛。在命宮若限不扶夭折，在官祿得地，化禍為祥。在子息，而子息孤單；居夫婦而鴛衾半冷。

The seven killing stars are the sixth star of the Southern Dipper, belonging to both fire and metal in the Five Phases. It is an important general among the stars of the Dipper, and is indeed a solitary star that determines success or failure. It holds the handle of the Dipper, and is in charge of inspecting and regulating conduct. Its power comes from the spirit of metal, and its nature is like the cool and severe autumn air. If it falls in the destiny chart, it is suitable to become a monk or a Taoist; if it falls in the body palace, it indicates a life of hardship. If the seven killing stars are in the命宫 (destiny palace), and the limit of life or fortune does not support it, it may lead to an early death. If it is in the official position palace and is in a favorable position, it can turn misfortune into good fortune. If it is in the children's palace, the children will be few; if it is in the marriage palace, the couple's affection will be lacking, like half of the love being cold.

會刑囚于田宅、父母，刑傷父母，產業難留。逢刑忌殺於遷移、疾厄，終身殘疾，縱使一身孤獨，也應壽年不長。與囚於身命，折肱傷股，又主癆傷。會囚耗於遷移，死於道路。若臨陷弱之宮，為殘較減。若值正陰之宮，作禍憂深。

The star Seven Killers (Qishash) together with the Star of Punishment (Tianxing) and the imprisoned star Lianzhen appears in the field and parents' houses, causing harm to parents and making it difficult to retain property. If Seven Killers is joined with the Star of Punishment, the transformed evil, and malevolent stars in the migration and illness houses, it leads to lifelong disabilities; even if one is alone without burdens, the lifespan will be short. When Seven Killers and the imprisoned star Lianzhen are both in the body and命宫, it indicates broken arms and injuries to the thighs, as well as chronic internal injuries. If Seven Killers is joined with the imprisoned star Lianzhen and the consuming star Pòjūn in the migration house, it results in death on the road. If Seven Killers falls in a weak or afflicted house, the degree of injury is somewhat lessened; but if it falls in a purely yin house, the calamity becomes deeply worrying.

流年殺曜莫教逢，身殺星辰戌迭並，身殺逢惡曜於要地，命逢殺曜於三方，流殺又迭並，二限之中又逢，主陣亡掠死。合太陽巨門會帝旺之鄉則吉，處空亡犯刑殺遭禍不輕。大小二限合身命逢殺，雖帝制也無功。三合對沖，雖祿亦無力。蓋世英雄為殺制，此時一夢南柯。此乃倒限之地，所主務要仔細推詳，乃數中之惡曜，實非善星也。

One must avoid the maleficent stars in the current year's chart: if the maleficent stars in the body palace overlap with those in the Chen and Xu palaces, and if the maleficent star in the body palace is located in a critical position and meets malevolent stars, then the three palaces of the native's birth chart will also be affected by the maleficent stars. If the current year's maleficent stars add further to this, and if they also appear in the major and minor life periods, it indicates a death by battlefield or capture. If the Seven Killers star is combined with the Sun and the Great Gate stars in the Prosperity position, it is auspicious. However, if it is located in the Kongwang position and conflicts with the Star of Punishment and the Seven Killers, the misfortune will be severe. If the major and minor life periods coincide with the body and life palaces and encounter maleficent stars, even if the Emperor star or the Purple Micro star is present to restrain them, it will not be effective. If the Triple Harmony palace and the opposite palace conflict, even with the Wealth-Salary star, it will not be helpful. A great hero, once restrained by maleficent stars, will have his life like a dream. This is a dangerous position in reverse destiny, so the matters involved must be carefully examined. The Seven Killers star is indeed a malevolent star in the system of destiny, and is not a benevolent one.

希夷先生曰：七殺斗中上將，遇紫微則化權降福，遇火鈴則長其殺威。遇凶曜於生鄉定為屠宰，會昌曲於要地，情性頑囂。秘經云：七殺居陷地，沉吟福不生是也。身命二宮逢之定歷艱辛，二限逢之遭殃破敗。

Master Xiyi said: The Seven Killers are the top general in the battlefield. When they meet the Emperor star, they transform into authority and bring down blessings. When they meet the Malefic of Violence and the Hidden-fire Malefic, they enhance their fierce and martial power. If they are in the growth place of the Five Phases and meet evil stars, they are destined to engage in occupations like butchering. When they are in critical positions and meet the Star of Examinations and Documents and the Star of Talent and Eloquence, their nature becomes rebellious and noisy. The secret scripture says, "When the Seven Killers are in a declining position, they remain silent and blessings do not arise," which refers to this meaning. If the body palace and the life palace meet the Seven Killers, one is destined to endure hardships. If the major and minor periods meet them, one will suffer misfortune and loss.

遇帝祿而可解，遭流殺而逢凶。守身命作事進退，喜怒不常。左右昌曲入廟拱照，掌生殺之權，富貴出眾。若四殺忌星沖破，巧藝平常之人，陷地殘疾。女命旺地，財權服眾，志過丈夫。四殺沖破刑剋不潔，僧道宜之，若殺湊飄蕩，流移還俗。

When the Seven Killings star meets the Supreme Emperor star, Purple Micro, and Wealth-Salary star, danger can be averted; but if it meets a yearly malefic star, misfortune will manifest. Those whose natal chart is guarded by this star are indecisive in their actions, changeable in mood. If Left Assistant and Right Assistant, Star of Examinations and Documents, and Star of Talent and Eloquence are in a flourishing position to support it, the person will wield power over life and death, achieving extraordinary wealth and status. If it is broken by the four malefics and the transformed inauspicious star, the person will merely live by their skills and be an ordinary individual; if it falls in a declining position, there may be physical disabilities. For a female's chart, if the Seven Killings star is in a flourishing position, she will control wealth and power, commanding respect from others, with ambitions surpassing those of men; but if it is broken by the four malefics, there will be punishments and immoral behavior. Monks and nuns find this star favorable; but if malefic stars are gathered together, they will be wandering and unsettled, even returning to secular life after taking monastic vows.

歌曰：七殺寅申子午宮，四夷拱手服英雄，魁鉞左右文昌會，權祿名高食萬鍾，殺居陷地不堪言，凶禍猶如抱虎眠，若是殺強無制伏，少年惡死到黃泉。

The song says: When the General star falls in the four palaces of寅, 申, 子, and 午, all four directions will bow and submit to this hero. If it is further combined with the Yang Benefactor, Yin Benefactor, Auxiliary Auspicious Star, another Auxiliary Auspicious Star, and the Star of Examinations and Documents, this person will have great power and wealth, a high reputation, and a salary measured in myriad measures. However, if the General star falls in a declining palace, the situation becomes unbearable. Misfortune is like sleeping with a tiger, ready to erupt at any moment. If the malevolent energy is too strong and not restrained by other stars, the person will die young and meet their end in the underworld.
