The rhyme says: When the day stem is Wu (戊) and the time is Guiyou (癸丑), the day stem yields to its wife and wealth, forming a spouse; this person is cunning and very intelligent, especially fond of elegance and enjoying wine and flowers. The interpretation says: On a Wu day with Guiyou time, Wu earth takes Gui water as wife and wealth, and Guiyou contains the residual energy of Gui water; the day stem yields to the wealth, thus making Gui water stronger; if the month supports the earth and Wu and Gui combine to form true fire, the person is intelligent; if the month supports the earth, it indicates wealth and power. If born in summer and the fortune moves eastward towards wood, it brings high status. On a Wuxu day with a Guichou hour: those born in summer and moving east are destined for wealth and status; those born in the months of Shengchen, Xuwu, Guichou, or Weiwu will achieve wealth and power, enjoying fine things and being naturally flirtatious. As it is said: when the combination of Wu and Chou forms the southern fire trigram, the wealth gate opens like the sun and moon; if there is no clash in the pillar, fortune and happiness naturally arrive. The concluding verse says: the combination of Wu and Chou at Guichou hour is like a cabinet, most favorable when there is a clash to open it, most unfavorable when it is locked; when the big destiny meets the key, the family becomes prosperous and has a livelihood. The interpretation says: on a Wu day with a Guichou hour, the combination turns into blazing fire and shines brightly; if the big destiny goes to a water place, it is not suitable, but going to the southeast brings prosperity. The ancestral property is unstable, mostly relying on the wife's family to buy land and estates; otherwise, there will be conflicts among family members, and the later years will still be prosperous and strong.

The rhyme says: When the day stem is Wu Tu and the time is Jiayin, Wu Tu is in the Jiayin hour, which is a weak position. In weakness, it is further harmed by the seven evil stars. If the monthly stem supports the day stem, the day stem becomes strong and brings good fortune. If the day stem is weak, it indicates a short life. The interpretation says: On a Wu Tu day with Jiayin time, it is "body weak and spirit strong." In Jiayin, the Ji wood is the seven evil star, but the Bing fire in Jiayin can support the body. If the monthly stem supports the day stem, and the column has support and assistance, the evil spirit can be transformed into an official star, indicating wealth and honor. Conversely, if this is not the case, it leads to poverty, low status, and a short life. However, if the big year moves to a strong position for the day stem, it is still good. If the calamity is strong and the day ruler is weak, the fortune decreases, and parents and brothers are hard to rely on; if the great fortune goes to the official seal place, the fortune comes continuously, and it certainly brings smooth success in talent and fame.

The interpretation says: A day stem of Wu (戊) with a time stem of Yimao (乙卯) is "strong official and weak self": Wu (戊) earth takes Yi (乙) wood as the official, and the Yi (乙) wood is strong in Mao (卯), while Wu (戊) earth is in a dead position. If the day stem has no support and the month stem does not connect with the season, the weak self will turn the official into seven evils, even if it is fortunate, it will result in a short life; if the month stem connects with the season, the self is strong and has support, and there is no Shen (申), You (酉), Xin (辛), Geng (庚), or harmful official Ji (甲) wood in the pillars, it will lead to high status. If there are Yi, You, or Xin, it harms the brothers, and one must experience two blossoms to bear fruit. A dragon confined by water will joyfully rise to the clouds, and when the fortune arrives, one will surpass others.

The interpretation says: On a day with the heavenly stem Wu and the earthly branch Chen, it is called "official hidden and wealth stored": Wu earth takes Ren and Gui water as wealth, Yi wood as official, and Bing fire as "reverse food" (biased scholar). Bing fire has no strength in Chen, while Ren and Gui water are stored within, and Yi wood still has some strength. On a day with the stem Wu and branch Chen, paired with a time of stem Bing and branch Chen, there is a conflict and suppression of the father, but the person himself will achieve great success. If the month ruler connects with the day ruler to create a strong and prosperous condition, and the great destiny moves towards the Northeast, then wealth is expected. If born in a month of water or wood and the great destiny moves to a place where the day ruler is strong, then high status is expected. When the branches of Mao and Xu appear, the release of wood and water occurs, and the name of wealth and honor rises high; if the great destiny moves towards fire and earth, then it is not smooth, and doing things is like being in a dream.

The interpretation says:戊 day with丁巳 hour is "印绶 meets禄": the禄 ofWu Earth is in巳, and the hour stemDing Fire is the印绶. TheDing Fire in巳 is at its peak of prosperity. The year and month stems should not see wealth or officials—seeing officials will damage the禄, and seeing wealth will damage the印. If the big years and months do not show wealth or official positions, and the big fortune does not go towards wealth or official positions, it indicates a high status. Those born in the寅month are considered as a biased official, and those who travel through the运 of Wei and Shen will be wealthy. Those born in the Zi month with the heavenly stem 甲exposed will also be wealthy. If there are亥, Mao, or Wei, even if wealth and official positions appear, it is still auspicious—this is because the禄格 (lucky position) does not fear officials and evils, as long as the day stem is strong and receives them, it becomes a blessing. The concluding verse says: the day stem's禄 (lucky position) prefers to return to the hour, without the need for wealth or officials, one can expect wealth. As long as there is no damage, the three waves before the Yu gate cannot stop it, and one can see a leap into the Tianchi (heavenly pool). The rhyme says: On a day where the day master is Ji (己) and the time is Jiazi (甲子), there is an official star clearly visible and hidden wealth in the background; if the day master can connect with the energy of the month, then all his clothes and food are given by heaven. The interpretation says: On Ji day with Jiazi time, it is "clear official and hidden wealth": Ji earth takes Jia wood as the official star, Gui water as the biased wealth, and Xin metal as the food god. Zi is also the Tianyi Nobleman for Ji earth. In Zi, Jia wood is clearly visible, Gui water is hidden, and Xin metal is in its growth stage in Zi. If the day master has support and the month's energy is connected, it indicates wealth and honor. Even if the day master is not strong, if the big luck comes to the earth element, it is good. The interpretation says: On Ji day and Yi Chou hour, it is called "special wealth meets ghost": there is Yi wood clearly present in Chou as the "ghost" (seven deadly stars), and hidden癸 water as wealth. Those born in spring have strong official stars and are prestigious, those born in summer are stable and fortunate, those born in autumn are fierce and cruel, and those born in winter have strong wealth stars; the same applies to the flow of years and fortune. On the day of Ji Wei with the hour of Wu Chen: those born in the month of Chou have mixed wealth and official positions, which is favorable; those with the year and month showing寅,辰,巳,亥,午,戌 will have prominent achievements. On the day of Ji You with the hour of Wu Chen: those born in spring have strong official stars, those born in summer are stable and fortunate, those born in autumn are fierce and cruel, and those born in winter have strong wealth stars. On the day of Ji Hai with the hour of Wu Chen: those born in the month of Chou have mixed wealth and official positions, indicating prestige; those born in the month of Xu with a fortune of wood and water will have a rank of sixth or seventh; those with the year and month showing寅,午,子,辰 will be highly prosperous. The concluding verse says: the hour of Chen paired with the day of Ji is not ordinary, as there is a 'money dragon' stored in the warehouse; as long as there is no encounter with a rival or theft and the fortune is favorable, wealth and extensive fields will certainly be achieved. The interpretation says: on the day of Ji with the hour of Wu Chen, the day's ruler meets a strong warehouse, indicating abundant wealth; indeed, after the flowers wither, they flourish again, and with thepunishment and clash of Chou and Xu, the wealth will be abundant. Seeing Ren and Shen indicates both wealth and official positions, but it means marrying twice and having a son in old age. Matters concerning parents and siblings are average, indicating an independent and self-reliant destiny.

六己日生時己巳，金神與火兩相和；不通月氣平常看，月氣如通榮甲科。己日己巳時，金火相合，己以丙為印，巳中有丙，健旺；己巳又為金神，坐於火位，相合。若通火月氣，四柱不見財星破印，不行財遇，發福非常。若不通月氣，或在冬生，虛秀不實。不通，得南運，亦吉。

The rhyme says: For a person born on a Jisi day with Jisi time, the metal god and fire harmonize with each other; if the month's stem does not connect with its branch, it is considered ordinary, but if the month's stem connects with its branch, he can achieve high official rank. The interpretation says: A person born on a Jisi day with Jisi time is a harmonious combination of metal and fire. Jisi earth takes Bing fire as its official star, and the fire in Jisi is strong and vigorous. Jisi itself is the "metal god," but it is seated on a fire position, which is a harmonious combination. If the month's stem connects with fire energy and the four pillars do not have wealth stars to destroy the official star, and the big destiny does not go to the wealth area, then the person will have great fortune. If the month's stem does not connect with fire energy, or if born in winter, then he only has a clear and refined appearance but lacks substance. Even if the month's stem does not connect with fire energy, if he can reach the southern fire destiny, it will be auspicious.

On a Jichou day with a Jisi hour: if born in the month of birth and moving towards the northwest, it indicates high status; if seeing Wu or Wei, which enhance fire, it indicates great wealth; if seeing Shen, Zi, Xu, or Si, it is also auspicious. On a Jimao day with a Jisi hour: Mao and Si are separated by Chen, which is a treasure warehouse, indicating great wealth; furthermore, Mao uses Si as the post-horse, and the two Ji earths combine to form 'sitting on the horse'; if born in the month of Wu, both official position and horse are complete, especially indicating a noble destiny; if born in the month of Hai, wealth is in its prime and official position meets growth; if born in the month of Si, the golden god meets fire: all these indicate great wealth. On a Jisi day with a Jisi hour: if the year or month contains Wu, it indicates great authority and fame; if born in spring, wife and children are virtuous and filial; if born in autumn or winter, it is ordinary, with high status but not prominent; if seeing Chen or Xu, wealth, official position, and food are all present; if seeing Shen, the injurious official generates wealth: all these are considered auspicious.

On a Jihai day with a Jisi hour (the original text says "Yichou hour", which is likely a mistake): those born in summer have abundant wealth and enjoy a luxurious life; those born in winter are ordinary; those born in Xu month and moving to the Southeast direction can become national advisors, reaching the rank of golden seal and purple ribbon; those born in Yin month are also of high status. The concluding verse says: On a Ji day meeting Jisi hour, the metal spirit becomes strong and needs suitable conditions; when the big luck moves to the Southern fire land, wealth and official positions become prominent; encountering寅 and卯, the Eastern wood, is considered harsh. The interpretation says: On a Ji day with a Jisi hour, those born in summer have Bing fire and the metal spirit together; as long as they do not meet Xu, Hai, and Geng, Shen, without being broken, their fame will be prominent. If the parents are one weak and one strong, encountering conflicts and emptiness will delay their career progress; to achieve success, they need to change their environment, and the key is to move to the Southern fire land where fire is strong.
