The Six Ding and Six Jia Deities'符 (magic seal)

郁離子曰:“大法軍中急用符法者,乃時門不利,故六丁之符以禳之。但當用咒,掌噀畫雷印鈴甲,方能應驗,此例極神,繫九天玄女傳授軍中六丁六甲神符”。

Yu Li Zǐ said: In general, when the military urgently uses talismans, it is because the current hour is unfavorable to the Eight Doors, so they draw the Li Ding talismans to ward off misfortune. When performing the talisman ritual, it must be combined with chanting a spell. One must hold water in the palm, spray it out, draw a thunder seal, shake the bell and cymbal, and make finger seals and array the talismans. Only then can the ritual be effective. This set of procedures is extremely reliable and was passed down by the Mysterious Lady of the Ninth Heaven as the military Li Ding and Li Ji divine talismans.
