Heavenly Marshalling Star, also known as the Greedy Wolf Star

訟庭爭競遇天蓬，勝捷名威萬里同，春夏用之皆大吉，秋冬用之半為凶；嫁娶遠行皆不利，修造埋葬亦閒空，須得生門同丙乙，用之萬事得昌隆。

When involved in lawsuits or disputes, encountering the Tianpeng star is favorable and can lead to victory, with one's reputation and prestige spreading far and wide. Tianpeng belongs to the water element, and it is highly auspicious to use it in spring and summer. However, in autumn and winter, using it may result in half the outcome being unfavorable. Marriage and long journeys are not favorable when encountering Tianpeng, and construction or burial efforts will be wasted. It must be combined with the Shengmen (Life Gate), and also share the same palace with Bingqi and Yi qi, in order to achieve prosperity in all affairs.

天蓬值子時，主有雞鳴犬吠、宿鳥鬧林，或有鳥自北方爭鬧飛來。作用後缺唇人至，六十日後應雞生肉卵，主口舌官訟，退財凶。值丑時，主樹倒傷人、有雷電大作，及風雨為應。作用後主七日內鷄生鵝卵、犬上房，百日內傷小口，白頭老人作牙，進田產、大旺十年後主退敗。

When the Tianpeng Star is active during the Zi hour, the external signs include hearing roosters crowing, dogs barking, or birds making noise in the forest, or birds flying in from the north while calling out. After the ritual, a person with a missing beak will come to the door; sixty days later, the omen will be a hen laying soft-shelled eggs, which indicates disputes over words and financial loss, which is ominous. When the Tianpeng Star is active during the Chou hour, the external signs include trees falling and injuring people, thunder and lightning, or strong winds and rain. After the ritual, within seven days, a hen will lay eggs as big as geese' eggs, and a dog will climb onto the roof; within one hundred days, there will be harm to children; a white-haired old man will act as an intermediary, leading to the addition of farmland and prosperity in the household, but after ten years, it will still turn into decline.

值寅時，主青衣童子持花來，北方和尚裹衣至，又主女人來為應。作用後主有賊劫家財，六十日蛇入屋咬人，牛馬死，傷人口，三年後進田宅。值卯時，主黃雲四起、婦人拿把鐵器前來、大蛇過路為應。作用後半月有徵音人送財物來，六十日內女人被賊害破財，百日內得橫財大發。

When the hour of Yin arrives, the external signs are a child wearing blue clothes holding flowers coming, or a monk wearing a monk's robe arriving from the north, or a woman coming to the door. After the ritual, there will be theft and robbery of property; within sixty days, a snake will enter the house and bite someone, cattle and horses will die, and people will be injured or killed. However, three years later, there will be an increase in land and property. When the hour of Mao arrives, the external signs are yellow clouds rising from all sides, a woman holding iron tools coming, and a large snake crossing the road. After the ritual, within half a month, someone with a musical tone belonging to the Zheng pitch will bring wealth; within sixty days, a woman will be harmed by thieves and suffer financial loss; within one hundred days, unexpected wealth will come, and there will be great fortune.

值辰時，主東北樹倒傷人、鼓聲四起、女人著紅衣至為應。作用後主鵲噪，鴉鵲繞屋，賊入盜財物，六十日內病腳人上門抵賴，三年內生貴子發福。值巳時，主駝背人著毛衣，女子攜酒至及師人來為應。作用後百日內，因大發橫財，因武得官發達。

At the hour of the Dragon, the external signs indicate a tree falling in the Northeast direction causing injury to people, drums sounding from all sides, and a woman wearing red clothes arriving. After the ritual, magpies will make loud noises, and crows and magpies will fly around the house. A thief will enter and steal property. Within sixty days, a lame patient will come to demand debts. Within three years, a noble son will be born, and the family will prosper. At the hour of the Snake, the external signs indicate a hunchbacked person wearing a sweater, a woman carrying wine coming, and a practitioner of esoteric arts arriving. After the ritual, within one hundred days, great wealth will be gained, and success will be achieved through military skill leading to officialdom and prosperity.

值午時，主有人持刀上山，婦人領青衣童子至為應，作用後四十日家主亡，六十日犬作人語入屋作怪，風腳人行凶、破財，三年發旺。值未時，主童子趕馬牛至，鷺鷥自北方飛來，女人著紅衣至為應，作用後六十日內賊入屋，劫掠財物凶敗。

At the time of the午 hour, the external signs indicate that someone is carrying a knife up the mountain and a woman is leading a child wearing blue clothes coming. Forty days after the ritual, the head of the household dies; sixty days later, the dog speaks like a human and enters the house to cause disturbances; a person with difficulty in walking commits a crime, thus causing financial loss; it is not until three years later that prosperity returns. At the time of the未 hour, the external signs indicate that a child is driving cattle and horses, cranes fly in from the north, and a woman wearing red clothes arrives. Within sixty days after the ritual, thieves enter the house, plundering property, resulting in misfortune and decline.

值申時，主有取水人並持傘蓋至，西方小兒打水、擂鼓、叫喊為應。作用後二十日鷄窩內有蛇傷物，百日內少婦自縊、為淫慾，起官司凶敗。值酉時，主西方有馬行來，群鴉飛噪為應。作用後百日內生貴子，僧道作牙、進商音人財產大發。

At the hour of Shen, the external signs indicate that someone will come to draw water, and someone will arrive with an umbrella and canopy. In the west, a child will be drawing water, beating a drum, and shouting. After the ritual, within twenty days, a snake in the chicken coop will harm the poultry; within one hundred days, a young woman will commit suicide due to lust, causing a lawsuit, which will be凶 and lead to decline. At the hour of You, the external signs indicate that a horse will come from the west, and a group of crows will fly and cry. Within one hundred days, a son of high status will be born; there will be monks and Taoists acting as intermediaries, and one will gain property belonging to someone with a musical tone of Shang, achieving great fortune.

值戌時，主老人持杖至，鬍鬚人擔籮筐至，西方雷雨至為應。作用後有白犬自來，八十日內拾軍器得橫財發大富。值亥時，小兒成群至，女人著孝服為應。作用後六十日因捉賊得錢榖，三年內賣藥及符咒水發財。

At the hour of Xu, the external signs are an old man with a staff coming forward, and a bearded man carrying a basket arriving. There is thunder and rain coming from the west. After the ritual, a white dog comes running on its own. Within eighty days, one will gain unexpected wealth by finding military weapons and become very rich. At the hour of Hai, the external signs are a group of children coming, and a woman in mourning clothes. After the ritual, within sixty days, one will gain money and grain by capturing thieves; within three years, one will become wealthy through selling medicine and using talismans and incantations.

天芮授道結交宜，行方值之最不吉，出行用事皆宜退，修造安塋禍難測；賊盜驚惶憂小口，更有官事被官責，縱得奇門從此位，求其吉事皆虛為。

The star Tian Rui is favorable for teaching and making friends, but if encountered during travel, it is most inauspicious. When going out to handle affairs and meeting Tian Rui, one should know when to retreat from difficulties. It is also a disaster for building houses or burying the dead, with unpredictable misfortunes. It indicates the possibility of theft and anxiety, worry over children, legal troubles, and punishment from superiors. Even if one obtains the Three Marvels in this direction, trying to use them for good fortune is entirely in vain.

天芮值子時，秋、冬用吉，春、夏用凶。有飛禽戰驚，西南方上火光，二人相逐為應。作用後主貓犬瘋癩傷人，惹官事，六十日內有女人自縊死，秋冬用之當進羽音財產發旺及婦人喜事吉。

When the Tianrui star is at the Zi hour, it is auspicious to use it in autumn and winter, but inauspicious in spring and summer. The external signs include birds flying about in alarm, a firelight in the southwest, and two people chasing each other. After using it, there will be incidents of cats and dogs suffering from madness and biting people, leading to legal troubles; within sixty days, a woman may commit suicide. If used in autumn and winter, it can bring prosperity by acquiring property belonging to people with the fifth tone belonging to the feather category, and women will have good news, which is auspicious.

值丑時，有鼓聲自西北至。七日內主龜鱉自林中來，六十日主盜賊官司破財凶。值寅時，主瘦婦懷孕至，夏秋主披蓑衣人至，春著皮衣人來為應。作用後如得奇門旺相，六十日內牛入屋，進血財，財官祿至，子孫興旺大發。

When the hour of Chou is the value hour, the external response is a drum sound coming from the northwest. Within seven days after the action, turtles and tortoises will crawl out from the woods. Within sixty days, the main person will suffer from theft, get into legal trouble, and lose money, which is凶 (unfavorable). When the hour of Yin is the value hour, the external response is a weak pregnant woman arriving. In summer and autumn, a person wearing a straw cloak will come, while in spring, a person wearing fur clothing will arrive. After the action, if the Three Marvels auspicious door is obtained and it is in a prosperous and strong condition, within sixty days, cattle will enter the house, adding livestock wealth, and wealth, official position, and status will all arrive, with descendants flourishing and great fortune.

At the time of the hour of Mao, the external signs include a woman wearing colorful clothes bringing something, a nobleman arriving on horseback, two dogs fighting each other, and a cow bellowing. After the event, within sixty days, property belonging to someone from the east will be acquired; a dog will bite a child, and livestock will be added; within three years, there will be a woman giving birth with difficulty, which is ominous. At the time of the hour of Chen, the external signs include a tree falling from the northeast causing injury to people, drums and music sounding, and a woman wearing red clothes arriving. Magpies circling the house and calling indicate a loss due to theft. After the event, within sixty days, a lame person will come to demand debts; after marriage, a noble son will be born, and the family will prosper.

值巳時，有婦人少女同至為應。作用後四十日進絕戶田契，一年因水大發財。值午時，有缺唇白衣人至，孕婦過為應。作用後六十日貓咬人，因買賣大發財，得東鄰產業大發。

When the time of Si (snake) hour comes, the external response is a woman and a young girl arriving together. After the ritual, within forty days, one obtains a land deed from a family that has no descendants. Within one year, one will become wealthy through business related to water. When the time of Wu (horse) hour comes, the external response is a man with a split lip wearing white clothes coming to visit, and a pregnant woman passing by. After the ritual, within sixty days, a cat will bite someone; one will become wealthy through trade, and also acquire property from the neighbor to the east, achieving great fortune.

值未時，有捕獵人至，白衣僧道攜茶過為應，作用後七日有烏鵲繞屋樹鳴噪，一年內動瘟癀，火燒屋蕩敗。值申時，主東方傘蓋人過，僧道鬍鬚人至為應，主牛馬傷人、犬咬人。作用後一百日內進羽音人產業，一年內水牛入屋、野鳥進宅，家主疾病。

When the hour of Wei is the time of action, the external signs indicate hunters arriving and a monk or Taoist wearing white clothes carrying tea passing by. After the action, within seven days, crows and magpies will call around the trees near the house; within a year, there will be an outbreak of plague and the house will be burned down, leading to the complete loss of property. When the hour of Shen is the time of action, the external signs indicate someone with an umbrella passing by in the east and monks or Taoists along with a man with a beard visiting. This presages injuries from cattle and horses and dog bites. After the action, within one hundred days, one will acquire property belonging to someone with a musical tone of Yu; within a year, water oxen will enter the house and wild birds will enter the house, and the householder will fall ill.

值酉時，主有西方馬過，群鳥鳴飛為應。作用後百日內僧道作牙，進商音人產財，生貴子發旺。值戌時，有老人扶杖至，西方雷雨，鬍鬚人擔物來為應。後有白犬自來，六十日拾軍器得橫財大發。值亥時，有小兒成群，婦人著孝服至為應。後六十日因賊得財，三年後因符水、藥劑發財。

When the time is酉 (You), the external signs are that there is a horse passing by in the western direction and a group of birds calling and flying up. After the affair, within one hundred days, a monk or Taoist will act as an intermediary, and property belonging to someone with the five tones belonging to Shang will be obtained. Also, a son of high status will be born, and the family will flourish. When the time is戌 (Xu), the external signs are that an elderly man comes forward with a staff, there is thunder and rain in the western direction, and a man with a beard carrying goods comes walking. Afterwards, a white dog will come running on its own; within sixty days, weapons will be found and unexpected wealth will be obtained, leading to great fortune. When the time is亥 (Hai), the external signs are that a group of children come, and a woman in mourning clothes arrives. Afterwards, within sixty days, wealth will be obtained by catching thieves; three years later, wealth will be obtained through符水 (spiritual water) and medicine.

嫁娶安塋產女驚，出行移徙遇災迍，修造葬埋皆不利，萬般作為且逡巡。天沖值子時，主仙禽鳴噪、鐘聲為應。作用後有生氣入宅，一年田蠶倍收，新婦亡後，因口舌得財。

The star Tian Chong indicates disturbances in marriage, burial, and the birth of a daughter. Travel and relocation will encounter disasters and difficulties. Construction and burial are also unfavorable. Whatever one does, they should hesitate and delay. When Tian Chong is active at the hour of Zi, the external signs are the calls of birds like cranes and the sound of a bell. After the ritual, life qi enters the house, leading to a doubling of harvests in grain, silk, and sericulture within a year. However, if a newly married wife dies, it may result in gaining wealth through disputes over words.

值丑時，主雲霧四合，小兒成隊及婦人至為應。作用後黑貓生白子，拾得古鏡發財，一年內得僧道、田契、生貴子。值寅時，主貴人乘轎馬及執金銀器至為應。作用後六十日進文契、六畜，並琉璃器物入宅，母鷄啼、家主有災，因口舌得財，乙己丁生者發富貴。

When the hour of Chou is the value hour, the external signs are clouds and fog gathering from all sides, children walking in groups, and women arriving. After the ritual, a black cat gives birth to a white kitten, and wealth is obtained by finding an ancient mirror. Within a year, land deeds are obtained from monks and Taoists, and a noble son is born. When the hour of Yin is the value hour, the external signs are a nobleman arriving by sedan chair or on horseback, or someone holding silver and gold objects. After the ritual, within sixty days, documents and livestock are obtained, and glassware enters the house. A hen crows, indicating the master of the house will have misfortune. Wealth is obtained through disputes over words. Those born in the years of Yi, Ji, and Ding will become prosperous and wealthy.

值卯時，主女人穿色衣送物，及貴人騎馬至、二犬嘶咬、又主牛鳴為應。作用後六十日進東方人產業，湯火傷小兒、進財，三年內婦人產難凶。值辰時，有魚上樹、白虎出山、僧道成夥至為應。作用後四十日內拾得黃白之物發橫財，七十日內家主有折傷之患。

When the time is in the hour of Mao, the external signs include a woman wearing colorful clothes bringing something, a nobleman arriving on horseback, two dogs barking and fighting, and also hearing a bull's call. When the time is in the hour of Chen, the external signs include fish jumping onto trees, the White Tiger emerging from the mountain, and a group of monks and Taoists arriving together. After the action, within forty days one will find gold and silver and gain sudden wealth; within seventy days the head of the household will suffer a fall or fracture.

值巳時，主牛羊爭行、二女嘶罵、西方有鼓聲為應。作用後六十日內蛇咬鷄、牛入屋、女人送文契，百日內生貴子大發。值午時，主有東方人家火起，白衣人叫喊，山鳥鳴噪為應，作用後六十日內拾得古銅器物發財產。

At the time of巳 (the fourth hour), the external signs were cattle and sheep fighting their way through the path, two women quarreling with each other, and a drum sound coming from the west. Within sixty days after the ritual, there would be a snake biting a chicken, a cow entering the house, and a woman bringing a written contract; within one hundred days, a son of high status would be born, and great fortune would come. At the time of午 (the fifth hour), the external signs were a fire starting in a house to the east, a person in white clothes shouting, and noisy cries from mountain birds. Within sixty days after the ritual, one would find an ancient bronze object and gain wealth to buy property.

值未時，有鼓聲響、小兒著孝衣，牛馬成群過，西北人喊叫為應。作用後六十日內白羊入屋，發橫財，六畜興旺。值申時，主南方白衣人騎馬過，吏卒爭鬪為應。作用後一百日內女人作牙，添進人口，發財產。

When the hour is Wei (the hour of the Horse), the external signs are drums sounding, children wearing mourning clothes, a group of oxen and horses passing by, and someone shouting in the northwest. Within sixty days after the ritual, a white sheep will enter the house, bringing unexpected wealth and prosperity to all domestic animals. When the hour is Shen (the hour of the Rooster), the external signs are a person in white clothes riding a horse passing by in the south, and officers and soldiers fighting each other. Within one hundred days after the ritual, a woman will act as an intermediary, leading to the addition of household members and the flourishing of wealth.

值酉時，有遠方書信至，東方人家說狐狸，有人喊叫，婦人掌火為應。作用後三年內生貴子，橫發富貴。值戌時，西方有三、五人來尋物，及師巫人對走為應。作用後六十日鷄鳴上樹、遠信至、得外人財，一年內小兒被牛踏傷。值亥時，有跛足青衣人至，東方人家起火為應。作用後一百日內貓捕白鼠，一年內得財，進人家田契。

When the hour is You (酉), the external signs indicate that a letter comes from afar, people in the east talk about foxes, someone is shouting, and a woman holds a lamp. After the ritual, within three years, a noble son will be born, and there will be sudden wealth and prosperity. When the hour is Xu (戌), the external signs indicate that three or five people come from the west to search for something, and a sorcerer or fortune teller walks by face to face. After the ritual, within sixty days, chickens fly up into trees and call out, a letter comes from afar, and one receives property from outsiders; within a year, a child will be trampled by a cow. When the hour is Hai (亥), the external signs indicate that a person with a limp wearing blue clothes arrives, and a fire breaks out in the east house. After the ritual, within one hundred days, a cat catches a white mouse; within a year, one will gain wealth and acquire another person's land deed.

天輔之星遠行良，修造埋葬福綿長，上官移徙皆吉利，喜溢人財百事昌。天輔值子時，主西方著紅衣大叫前來為應。作用後六十日進商音人財物、猴入室、寶瓶鳴，主加官進職、生貴子，十二年興旺吉。

The star Tianfu is favorable for long journeys, construction projects, and burials, bringing long-lasting blessings. It is auspicious for taking office, moving to a new residence, and brings joy into the household, with prosperity in people, wealth, and all affairs. When Tianfu Star is active at the hour of Zi, the external sign is a person in red clothes coming from the west shouting loudly. After the ritual, within sixty days, one will gain wealth from people belonging to the Shang tone in the Five Sounds. Also, monkeys will enter the house and a gourd will make a sound by itself, indicating promotion, birth of a noble son, and prosperity in the family for the next twelve years, which is auspicious.

At the time of the Ox hour (the text here is missing), the external signs indicate that there is barking from a dog in the east, and someone is killing with a knife, causing a commotion and shouting. After the burial ceremony, white rabbits and pheasants enter the house. Within sixty days, monks and Taoists bring gifts, and a person from the southeast, whose sound belongs to the feather tone, delivers documents to the door. Travelers from afar return with messages. After one year, household members are added, livestock and wealth flourish, and promotions and honors are gained. This entry is found in "An Exposition of Dun Jia." At the time of the Rat hour, the external signs indicate that officials and their assistants arrive with iron tools, and artisans bring goods. Within sixty days, land deeds are acquired. After eleven years, a noble child is born, and great fortune is achieved.

值卯時，有女人持傘至，及師巫吹角聲為應。六十日內發財、添丁，有生氣物，家旺財榖，因女人公事進田地財產。值辰時，白羊與黃犬相鬪，賣菜人與賣油人相撞，白衣小兒啼哭、孕婦至為應。一年內生貴子，財產大發。

At the hour of Mao, the external signs are a woman arriving with an umbrella and the sound of a shaman blowing a horn. Within sixty days, there will be wealth and the birth of a son, with living creatures giving birth, the family prospering, and food and grain being abundant; also, due to matters involving the woman, land and property will be acquired. At the hour of Chen, the external signs are a ram fighting a yellow dog, a vegetable seller colliding with an oil seller, a child wearing white clothes crying, and a pregnant woman arriving. Within a year, a noble son will be born, and great wealth will be gained.

值巳時，有二人相打，女人抱布衣，風四起、小兒啼哭。六十日進東財產，鬼神運來大發。值午時，有僧拿物，女人著紅衣過為應。六十日有貴人送異物，進四方金銀，一年內得寡婦財產大發。

When the time of Si is active, the external signs indicate two people fighting, a woman holding a piece of cloth, winds coming from all directions, and a child crying. Within sixty days, wealth from the east will be obtained, as if transported by spirits, resulting in great fortune. When the time of Wu is active, the external signs indicate a monk holding something and a woman wearing red passing by. Within sixty days, a nobleman will bring strange items, with gold and silver coming from all directions into the house; within a year, one will obtain property from a widow, resulting in great fortune.

值未時，主二畜相觸，有人攜皮毛至，僧道成群過為應。作用後西北方人爭財，百日內進財物、文契。值申時，有患足人攜酒至，三色衣人來，西北方鼓聲鳴為應。作用後半年內蛇從井中出，白衣人送牛羊至，得婦人財發。

When the hour of Wei is the value hour, the external response is two animals colliding with each other, someone arriving with fur, and a group of monks and Taoists passing by. After the ritual, there will be a struggle for money with people from the northwest; within one hundred days, wealth and documents will be obtained. When the hour of Shen is the value hour, the external response is a person with foot disease carrying wine coming, someone wearing clothes of three colors arriving, and loud drumming sounds from the northwest. After the ritual, within half a year, a snake will climb out of the well, a person wearing white clothes will bring cattle and sheep, and one will gain wealth from a woman and become prosperous.

值酉時，主有遠方人書信至，東方人言狐狸或有人喊叫為應，女人拿火至，後三年內生貴子，橫發財產。值戌時，主有三、五人來尋物，師巫對行為應，六十日鷄上樹鳴、遠信至、得婦人財，小兒被牛傷，一年內驗之。值亥時，主有跛足人至，青衣人來，東北方人家火光為應。作用後百日內貓捕白鼠，一年內進田產。

When the hour is You (酉), the external signs are a person coming from afar to deliver a message, someone talking about foxes or shouting in the east, or a woman arriving with a lamp. After this, within three years, a noble son will be born and wealth will suddenly increase. When the hour is Xu (戌), the external signs are three or five people searching for something, or a sorcerer or fortune teller coming face to face. Within sixty days, chickens will fly up into trees and call out, a message will arrive from afar, and one will receive property from a woman; a child will be injured by a cow, and all these events will be fulfilled within one year. When the hour is Hai (亥), the external signs are a lame person arriving, a person wearing blue clothes coming, or a firelight from a house in the northeast. Within one hundred days after the action, a cat will catch a white mouse, and within one year, additional farmland will be acquired.

天禽遠行偏得利，坐賈行商皆稱意，投謁貴人俱益懷，修造埋葬都豐裕。天禽值子時，主有孕婦來，紫衣人至為應。作用後五十日有文人送物，三年內因武得官，二十年外財榖廣益，人丁千口財旺。

The Tian Rui Star is most favorable for long journeys, making it easy for those who run shops or travel as merchants. It also brings benefits when seeking an audience with a nobleman. It is auspicious for construction projects and burials, bringing abundance and prosperity. When the Tian Rui Star is active at the hour of Zi, the external signs include a pregnant woman arriving and someone wearing purple clothing coming. After the ritual, fifty days later, a scholar will bring something. Within three years, one will attain an official position through military service. Twenty years later, there will be a great increase in wealth and grain, with a population of thousands and flourishing fortune.

值丑時，主孝婦拿錫器來，小兒拍掌、吹哨、打鼓、喊叫為應。作用後因賭戲得財，或開窖得財，三年內得盜賊財，發家致富。值寅時，主鷄鳴犬吠，道人戴棕笠至為應。作用後進羽音人田契、人丁發旺。

At the hour of Chou, the external response is a woman in mourning clothes holding a tin object coming forward, children clapping, blowing whistles, beating drums, and shouting. 值卯時，主有大風東起、禽鳥四叫、孕婦至為應。作用後半年內得橫財起家。值辰時，主九流人相爭叫，東方烏鴉鳴為應。作用後六十日有僧道及孤獨人送物來。值巳時，主有白項鴉成群飛來，及師巫相打，貴人騎馬過為應。作用後七十日內主婦人生貴子，成家，田產大旺。

When the time is in the hour of Mao (ox), the external signs are a strong wind blowing from the east, birds calling everywhere, and a pregnant woman arriving. Within half a year after the ritual, one will gain unexpected wealth and become prosperous. When the time is in the hour of Chen (dragon), the external signs are people from all walks of life arguing and shouting, and crows calling from the east. Within sixty days after the ritual, monks, Taoists, and lonely, destitute people will bring gifts. When the time is in the hour of Si (snake), the external signs are flocks of white-necked crows flying in, magicians fighting with each other, and a nobleman riding a horse by. Within seventy days after the ritual, the mistress will give birth to a noble child, establish a family, and have great prosperity in farmland and property.

At the hour of Wu, the external signs indicate a woman wearing white clothes arriving, a dog carrying flowers, fighting roosters, and sudden storms with wind and rain. After the ritual, someone will come to the person on their own, gaining wealth through gambling and official matters; a black hen will hatch white chicks, and the fields will flourish. At the hour of Wei, the external signs indicate an old, lame person carrying flowers passing by, or a person wearing green clothes arriving with something. After the ritual, within sixty days, the person will gain wealth from someone belonging to the fifth tone and the feather category, as well as iron tools, and the family fortune will flourish.

值申時，主空中飛鳥啼，師巫拿紙物來為應。作用後百日內女人拾珠翠歸，一年內生貴子起家。值酉時，主西方火起、人家吵嚷、鼓聲喧鬧為應。作用後一年內生貴子，發旺。

When the hour of Shen is used, the external signs are birds flying in the sky and crying, and witches or fortune tellers carrying paper-made objects coming forward. Within one hundred days after the ritual, a woman will pick up jewels and ornaments and take them home; within one year, a noble son will be born, leading to family prosperity. When the hour of You is used, the external signs are fire starting in the west, people arguing, and loud drumming. Within one year after the ritual, a noble son will be born, and the family will become prosperous.

值戌時，主東北方有鐘鼓聲，青衣童子攜籃至為應。作用後六十日內白鼠來，得寡婦財物發達。值亥時，主有西北方婦人笑聲，大起狂風，折樹毀屋，人喊叫為應。作用後百日內進鐵匠器物及僧道產。

When the hour of戌 arrives, the external response is a sound of bells and drums coming from the Northeast direction, and a child wearing blue clothes carrying a basket arrives. Within sixty days after the ritual, white mice appear, and one gains wealth from a widow's property and becomes prosperous. When the hour of亥 arrives, the external response is laughter from the Northwest, a violent wind, breaking trees and destroying houses, and someone shouting. Within one hundred days after the ritual, one acquires tools from a blacksmith and property from monks or Taoists.

天心求仙合藥當，商途客旅財祿昌，更將遷葬皆吉利，萬事欣逢盡高強。天心值子時，主有人爭鬪，鼓聲西北起為應。作用後九十日內有赤面人作牙，進商音人古銅畫軸，十二年田蠶發旺。

The star Tianxin is favorable for seeking immortality and studying Daoist teachings, combining medicinal ingredients, merchants traveling abroad, and travelers making journeys, all leading to prosperity in wealth and official rank. It is also auspicious for moving house and burial. All matters encountering this star will be satisfactory and successful. When Tianxin is at the hour of Zi, the external indication is someone fighting and drums sounding from the northwest. After the ritual, within ninety days, a person with a red face will act as an intermediary, and there will be the acquisition of ancient bronze vessels and scrolls belonging to those with the musical tone of Shang. This will be followed by twelve years of abundant crops, silkworms, and sericulture.

值丑時，主西南方有火光，跛足人送物至，五日內雙貓自來為應。作用後四十日有遠方人送物，進商音人財產、文契。值寅時，主有水鳥至，鐘鼓鳴，青衣女子提籃至為應。作用後火燒小口，六十日有公事，百日進金銀，拾古器，進人口產業，三年因妻得財、生貴子。

When the hour of Chou is the value hour, the external signs are that there will be a firelight in the southwest, a lame person bringing something, and two cats coming on their own within five days. After the ritual, forty days later, someone from afar will bring something, and five people belonging to the musical tone Shang will bring property and documents. When the hour of Yin is the value hour, the external signs are that water birds will fly in, bells and drums will sound, and a woman wearing blue clothes will come with a basket. After the ritual, a child will be burned by fire; sixty days later there will be official business; one hundred days later, silver and gold will be obtained, an ancient vessel will be found, household members will be added, and property will increase; within three years, wealth will be obtained through the wife, and a noble son will be born.

At the hour of Mao, the external signs indicate a lame woman fighting with another woman, dogs barking and drums sounding, and a palanquin coming from the north. Within seven days after the ritual, wealth will be gained; within three years, cattle and horses will enter the house, and wealth and official rank will flourish. At the hour of Chen, the external signs indicate clouds rising from the northwest, a person wearing blue clothes holding a fish coming, and a woman traveling with a monk or a Taoist. After the ritual, the water vapor rising from the well will look like clouds; within three days, a noble son will be born, and later this will indicate success in the imperial examinations, honor and prosperity.

值巳時，主有女人抱小兒至，紫衣人騎馬過為應，龜上樹。作用後半月內進遠方人財，跛足人作牙、進田契、六畜旺，女人治家，寡婦坐堂。值午時，主有風雨驟至，蛇橫路，女人著紅裙提酒至為應。作用後六十日內有跛足人送活物，五年內橫發財產。

At the time of the snake hour, the external signs are a woman holding a child coming, a person wearing purple riding a horse passing by, and a turtle climbing a tree. Within half a month after the ritual, one will receive property from a distant person; a lame person will act as an intermediary, leading to the acquisition of land deeds and prosperity of livestock; the woman will be in charge of the household, and a widow will be in charge of affairs. At the time of the horse hour, the external signs are sudden rain and wind, a snake crossing the road, and a woman wearing a red skirt bringing wine. Within sixty days after the ritual, a lame person will bring live animals; within five years, there will be a sudden increase in wealth.

值未時，主有法術人拿空器過，白衣老人至為應。作用後得商音姓人文契，田宅發富。值申時，主有僧道來，金鼓四鳴，百鳥齊嗓，紅裙女人送酒為應。作用後三年內寡婦持家。

When the hour of Wei arrives, the external signs indicate a person skilled in magic carrying an empty vessel passing by, and an old man wearing white clothes arriving. After performing the ritual, obtaining a document from a family whose five tones belong to Shang will lead to wealth through land and property. When the hour of Shen arrives, the external signs indicate monks and Taoist priests coming, with gongs and drums sounding from all sides, and a hundred birds calling out together. A woman wearing a red skirt brings wine. After performing the ritual, within three years the household will be managed by a widow.

值酉時，主僧尼道姑拿火自西南來，北方鐘鼓聲為應。作用後七十日內得馬牛，得官府財，遠信至。值戌時，主南方喊叫有賊，小兒牽牛至為應。作用後百日內生貴子，金鷄石上鳴，無故犬吠，二年後中科第。值亥時，主鷄鳴犬吠，老人著皮衣帽至，手拿鐵器為應。作用後七日內有遠人來借宿，遺下財物而去。

When the time is酉 (You), the external signs are monks and nuns holding torches coming from the southwest direction, and the sound of bells and drums coming from the north. Within seventy days after the ritual, one will receive horses and cattle, obtain property from the government, and receive letters from a distant place. When the time is戌 (Xu), the external signs are someone shouting about thieves in the south, and children leading a cow to arrive. Within one hundred days after the ritual, a son or daughter of high status will be born; a golden chicken will crow on a stone, and a dog will bark without reason. Two years later, one will pass the imperial examination. When the time is亥 (Hai), the external signs are roosters crowing and dogs barking, and an old person arriving wearing fur clothing and holding iron tools. Within seven days after the ritual, a guest from a distant place will arrive for lodging and will leave behind lost property when departing.

天柱藏形謹守宜，不須遠行及營為，商賈百事皆不利，動作立刻見凶危。天柱值子時，主有風雨，火從東方起，缺唇人至為應。作用後六十日內蛇犬咬人，刀刃傷人、見血光、破財。

The star Tian Zhu is suitable for concealing one's movements and being cautious and maintaining stability; it is not appropriate for traveling far or engaging in planning. It is unfavorable for business or trade, and any action taken will immediately lead to danger. When Tian Zhu is active at the hour of Zi, the external signs include rain and wind, fire starting from the east, and the arrival of a person with a split lip. After performing any action, within sixty days, there will be snake and dog bites, injuries from sharp objects, bloodshed, and loss of wealth.

值丑時，主有北方木匠拿斧，樹上生金花為應。作用後六十日進羽音人金銀器，三年內火災，主敗家產，出人弄蛇戲犬。值寅時，主牛馬喧，僧道拿傘蓋至，有雷雨，喜鵲噪為應。作用後主賊人牽連，官訟破財，女人小產死凶。

When the time of Chou (the Ox hour) is used, the external signs indicate that there is a carpenter in the north holding an axe, and trees are blooming with golden flowers. After the ritual, within sixty days, one will receive silver and gold vessels belonging to a person whose musical tone is Yu. Within three years, there will be a fire, leading to the loss of property, and a person in the family will make a living by handling snakes and dogs. When the time of Yin (the Tiger hour) is used, the external signs indicate that cattle and horses are noisy, monks and Taoists arrive with umbrellas, there is thunder and rain, and magpies are noisy. After the ritual, there will be involvement with thieves, lawsuits leading to financial loss, and a woman will miscarry or die, which is凶 (unfavorable).

值卯時，主有人伐樹，男人拿鼓，黃衣老人拿鋤鎌過為應。作用後六十日內母雞犬上屋，一年內少婦死凶。值辰時，主有人自西方拿金器來為應。作用後七日內進陰人財物，三年內大發。

At the hour of Mao, the external signs indicate someone cutting trees, a man carrying a drum, and an old man in yellow clothes carrying a hoe and scythe passing by. Within sixty days after the ritual, a hen and a dog will climb onto the roof; within one year, a young woman will die, which is ominous. At the hour of Chen, the external signs indicate someone coming from the west with gold items. Within seven days after the ritual, one will gain property from a woman; within three years, there will be great fortune.

On the day of the Snake hour, the external signs indicate a black ox pulling a cart, pigs running up the mountain, and the sound of bells and drums. After the ceremony, within twenty days, one will gain property belonging to someone whose five tones belong to the Shang scale; within sixty days, a woman will drown, and wild animals will enter the house; within a year, a noble son will be born, indicating great prosperity. On the day of the Horse hour, the external signs indicate someone arriving on horseback; in winter, snow will fall, and in summer or autumn, crows will fly and cry. After the ceremony, within five days, a pregnant woman will be ill and wear mourning clothes while crying; within sixty days, an ancient bronze object will be found by the water; this indicates loss of wealth and injury to a child, which is ominous.

值未時，主有女人與僧道同行，東北方人攜傘蓋騎馬為應。作用後因女人見狐狸退敗大凶。值申時，主有鷹捕鳥落地，及青衣人攜傘蓋至為應。作用後三年內大火焚宅，家業大敗。

When the hour is Wei (the hour of the Horse), the external indication is a woman traveling with a monk or Taoist, and someone in the Northeast direction passing by on horseback with an umbrella. After the ritual, due to the woman, one encounters a fox spirit, leading to the decline of the family, which is a great misfortune. When the hour is Shen (the hour of the Rooster), the external indication is an eagle catching a bird and falling to the ground, and a person wearing blue clothing arriving with an umbrella. After the ritual, within three years the house will be burned down by fire, resulting in the great collapse of the family's fortune.

值酉時，主東方有大小車連絡數十輛行為應。作用後七十日內得女人首飾發財。值戌時，主有女人抱白布物至，西北方有鼓聲為應。作用後東北方樹打人喊叫，後六十日蛇蠍傷人，瘟疫死，大敗凶。值亥時，主西方有鐘聲為應，山下人喊叫，作用後百日內，因救火得財大利。

When the hour is You (酉), the external sign is that there are dozens of large and small vehicles moving in succession in the east. Within seventy days after the ritual, one will obtain a woman's jewelry and become wealthy. When the hour is Xu (戌), the external sign is that a woman comes carrying white cloth and there is a drum sound in the northwest. After the ritual, there will be an accident where a tree falls in the northeast and injures a person, causing shouts. Then within sixty days, there will be snake and scorpion bites, and deaths due to plague, leading to great defeat and misfortune. When the hour is Hai (亥), the external sign is that a bell sound comes from the west and people are shouting at the foot of the mountain. Within one hundred days after the ritual, one will gain wealth by saving a fire, which is very beneficial.
