The corresponding heavenly generals are Azure Dragon, Gou Chen, Liu He, Vermilion Bird, Teng Snake, Nobleman, Heavenly Empress, Tai Yin, Black Tortoise, Tai Chang, White Tiger, Tian Kong. The four lessons: 甲 (in the 寄宫寅) has巳 with Tai Chang, 巳 has申 with Azure Dragon, the day branch 申 has亥 with Vermilion Bird, and 亥 has寅 with Heavenly Empress. The three transmissions: 申-亥-寅. The first transmission 申 is official ghost with Azure Dragon, the middle transmission 亥 is parents with Vermilion Bird, and the final transmission 寅 is brother with Heavenly Empress.

陳公獻曰：不但府試高取，院考定然首薦。蓋因月建旬首發用。龍朱乘旺相（龍乘申月建旺，朱乘亥相），現於初中，末傳德祿驛馬，又干支交車生合，傳將進引，斗罡天喜加行年（秋三月天喜在辰，加行年丑上），朱雀乘丁神進氣，文字必貼主司之意。且格合天心（年寅、月申、日申、時寅皆在四課之內），主非常喜慶，掀天揭地也，是以首薦無疑。又問：該就府送考，該就司送考？予曰：六合加於辰未酉籍穩妥，後果首進。

Chen Gongxian said: Not only will the candidate pass the county examination in the higher grade, but he will certainly be listed first in the prefectural examination. Why? Because the initiating transmission is the metal of Shen, which is both the month builder and the first day of the Jiashen decade. The Azure Dragon and Vermilion Bird are both in a prosperous and strong state (the Azure Dragon rides on Shen, which is the month builder of July and thus in its prime; the Vermilion Bird rides on Hai, which is the water of autumn and thus in its secondary state), appearing respectively in the first and middle transmissions. The final transmission is寅 wood, which also includes the virtue god, the禄 god, and the post-horse. The day stem and day branch also interact with each other through generation and combination. The three transmissions and the heavenly general progress step by step. The star of the pole (Chen) and Heavenly Joy are added to the year of birth (in the third month of autumn, Heavenly Joy is in Chen and is added to the year of birth Chou). The Vermilion Bird also rides on the Ding god and is in a rising state, so the composition will certainly match the examiner's mind. Moreover, the structure conforms to the "Heavenly Heart" - the sovereign year is寅, the month builder is申, the day branch is申, and the time of the divination is寅, all appearing within the four lessons. This indicates a very great joy, with a tremendous momentum, so being listed first is certain. He then asked: Should the candidate be sent for examination by the county or by the prefectural office? I said: Liu He is added to the path of Chen, Wei, and You, so sending the candidate's name through the county school is safe. Later, he indeed passed the examination as the first place.

甲申十二月甲申日癸酉時，予往淮陰時，鳳陽施指揮使相召守歲，見天氣昏沉，占元旦有雪否，午未空、酉戌落空。　　指南

On the day of Jiashen in the year Jiashen, in the twelfth lunar month, I (Chen Gongxian) was about to go to Huaiyin, when Shi Zhuhuishi from Fengyang invited me to stay together for the New Year's Eve. Seeing the sky was overcast, I divined whether it would snow on New Year's Day. The旬空 was in Wu and Wei, and the hours of You and Xu were also empty. This passage is from the "Liu Ren Zhi Nan."

On the Earth Plate's positions of巳, 午, 未, 申, 酉, 戌, 亥, 子, 丑, 寅, 卯, 辰, the Heaven Plate positions are respectively 申, 酉, 戌, 亥, 子, 丑, 寅, 卯, 辰, 巳, 午, 未. The generals riding on these positions are Teng Snake, Vermilion Bird, Liu He, Gou Chen, Azure Dragon, Tian Kong, White Tiger, Tai Chang, Black Tortoise, Tai Yin, Heavenly Empress, and Nobleman. The Nobleman is located on the Heaven Plate's position 未 (Earth Plate's position 辰), and the generals are arranged in a clockwise order. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the first lesson is 甲 (lodging in 寅) with巳, riding Tai Yin; the second lesson is巳 with申, riding Teng Snake; the third lesson is the day branch 申 with亥, riding Gou Chen; the fourth lesson is亥 with寅, riding White Tiger. The three transmissions are 申—亥—寅: the first transmission 申 is the official ghost riding Teng Snake, the middle transmission 亥 is the parents riding Gou Chen, and the final transmission 寅 is the brothers riding White Tiger.

陳公獻曰：不但元旦有雪，今晚亦雪。因斗罡加丑陰象也。況申為水母發用，生中傳亥水，又乘蛇，乃雙雪頭彎曲之形，是以斷今晚、明日有雪。果然。

Chen Gongxian said: Not only will there be snow on New Year's Day, but it will snow tonight. Because the star of the handle (Chen) is placed on the Chou position, which is a pure yin image. Moreover, the initiating transmission (Fa yong) is Shen metal, which is the mother of water and can generate the middle transmission (Zhong chuan) Hai water. Shen also carries Teng Snake, which is coiled and bent, exactly like snowflakes curled at both ends. Therefore, he predicted that there will be snow both tonight and tomorrow. Later, it indeed happened as predicted.

己丑年十二月甲申日子將申時王知縣占新宰何時至　　方本占案

邵彥和曰：冬占得潤下課，正及時也。新官今已至潤州，值水淺來遲耳。果第三日得信云，已至潤州，水淺不能前。蓋發用辰加子，作玄武。子江也，上得辰土克之，故淺。甲日子加申，子乃十二月太陽，加支為臨任所，月內必到也。果應。

Shao Yanhe said: In winter, when divining an affair that results in the "Moistening Down" water pattern, it is in harmony with the season. A newly appointed county magistrate has now arrived at Runzhou, but he came late because the water was shallow. On the third day, news came that he had arrived in Runzhou, as the boat could not proceed due to the shallow water. The reasoning is: the initiating transmission is the earth element Chen, which is added to the water element Zi and rides on the Black Tortoise. Zi represents rivers and lakes, but it is overcome by Chen, hence the shallow water. On the day of Jiashen, the day branch is Shen, and Zi, which is the sun of the twelfth month (month general), is added to the day branch, indicating he has arrived at his post. Therefore, it was concluded that he would arrive this month. Later, it proved true.

崇正丁丑年二月十四日甲申日亥將未時，趙景皋兄占會試　　占案

In the Dingchou year of the Chongzhen era, on the 14th day of the second lunar month, on the Jiashen day, at the hour of Hai with the hour of Wei, Brother Zhao Jingao divined the imperial examination. It is from "Zhan An."

The corresponding heavenly generals are Gou Chen, Liu He, Zhu Que, Teng Snake, Nobleman, Heavenly Empress, Tai Yin, Xuan Wu, Tai Chang, Bai Hu, Tian Kong, and Qing Long. The four lessons are: on Jiashen, the position Wu is seen with Bai Hu; on Wu, the position Xu is seen with Liu He; on the day branch Shen, the position Zi is seen with Teng Snake; on Zi, the position Chen is seen with Xuan Wu. The three transmissions are Chen (wife's wealth, Xuan Wu) - Shen (official ghost, Qing Long) - Zi (parents, Teng Snake). Shen, Zi, and Chen form a water trinity.

郭御青曰：干支各自乘死氣，又各脫耗，不利場屋明矣。且四課天將不正，三傳水局，天將又皆水，雖能生日，不敵自受脫耗。凡水局見武蛇，主夢幻鬼魅，安能中乎？放榜果不中。

Guo Yuqing said: The day stem and day branch each carry death qi, and both are depleted and dispersed, which is clearly unfavorable for the imperial examination. Moreover, the heavenly generals on the four lessons are all improper, and the three transmissions form a water pattern; the heavenly generals on the water pattern are all of the water type. Although water can generate the jia wood day stem, it cannot overcome the depletion of the day stem itself. Whenever the water pattern appears with xuanwu and teng snake, it indicates matters of dreams and ghosts, how could one pass the examination? Indeed, after the list was published, he did not pass.

邵彥和曰：干支皆墓主前程遲滯，凡事不通。今喜甲申旬，未乃空亡。本身之墓既空，漸次脫去，次第亨通。初傳與貴人云害，不利考試，巳作太陰為閉口，主偏堂不利，終為疾擾。妻宮加閉口子孫上，主無子，今年防被醫人所誤。

Shao Yanhe said: When both the day stem and day branch are in a墓 position, it indicates obstacles in the future and difficulties in all matters. Fortunately, this day falls within the Jiashen decade, and the Wei branch is not empty in this decade; since the墓 is empty, it will gradually be released, and there is hope for smooth progress in the future. The first transmission and the nobleman are in a harmful relationship, which is unfavorable for exams. The巳 branch is occupied by Tai Yin, indicating a "closed mouth" spirit, which is unfavorable for the side wife, and ultimately will be troubled by illness. The wife and wealth palace is placed on the closed mouth's son, indicating no son, and this year should also be cautious of being misdiagnosed by a doctor.

本命是木墓，本身上貴人又空亡，乃是虛貴，宅上又帶墓，宅既不顯，人亦不興。三十發解便不濟，如處雲霧中。妻亦不利，其人果受乳母氣，得心病，九年而卒。妻血病五年，本年又患痢。醫人誤作熱症治之，幾死。庚申年亡。

His true heavenly stem belongs to wood but is in a state of burial, and the nobleman riding on his true heavenly stem has fallen into kongwang, making it a false nobleman. The dwelling also carries the burial deity, so the dwelling does not show success and the person does not flourish. After passing the local examination at thirty, his fortune declined, as if he were in a fog. His wife is also unfavorable. This person later indeed suffered from the anger of his wet nurse, developed a heart illness, and died nine years later. His wife suffered from a blood disease for five years, and that year she also contracted dysentery. The doctor mistook it for a heat condition and almost caused her death, and she died in the year of Gengshen.

戊申年九月甲申日辰將亥時某占家宅　　方本占案　　口鑑

In the year of Wushen, ninth month, on the day of Jiashen, at the time of Chen adding Hai, a person divined about their family dwelling. This comes from the Fangshi edition of "Zhan An" and "Liu Ren Kou Jian."

邵彥和曰：此宅原是墳，因墓神作梗，宅內常有聲，見一人裹帽而行，乃六十老人葬於內，沿有遊尸，所以出來作怪。每主克子，因灶下墳更多，移灶則無聲。更第三間閣下，是此裹帽老人葬處，掘下五尺便見，遷去即安矣。試之果然，因丑為裹帽老人也。

Shao Yanhe said: This house was originally a burial ground, and because the spirit of the tomb was interfering, there were constant noises inside the house, and a man wearing a headscarf was seen moving around. This was a sixty-year-old man who was buried there, and there were also scattered bones, so they came out to cause trouble. This house often leads to the harm of descendants. Because there were especially many graves under the stove, moving the stove away would eliminate the noises. Moreover, the floorboards under the third room were exactly where the buried bones of the man wearing a headscarf were. If you dug down five feet, you could see them. Once they were moved, the house became peaceful. According to his words, they dug and indeed found it to be true. Therefore, this conclusion was drawn because the earthly branch 'Chou' (the third lesson's heavenly stem) takes the image of an old man wearing a headscarf.

乙卯年閏二月初二甲申日亥將午時占館　　說約

In the year Yimao, on the second day of the leap second month, on the day Jiashen, at the time of the Hour of Hai with the Hour of Wu added, a divination was made concerning matters of teaching and instruction. This is from the book "Renyue Shuo Yao."

江村張鋐曰：六壬占一事而相因之事牽連出現者，此時時有之。特人多忽而不經意耳。乙卯春間，舍弟在山東平州署館況頗佳，因占何時來接舍侄赴署，得甲申日干上未，三傳子巳戌。餘看課傳全無來接之象，此本事也。又干上雖逢未貴，但干視未為財，為墓。貴視干為鬼，為寇讐，賓主豈能相安？兼子為敗氣發用而與貴人六害，似已分手。寅加酉主酉日到家也，果於次日乙酉舍弟回家。

Jiangcun Zhang Tao said: When using the Six壬 divination method to predict one matter, it often brings up related matters as well. This situation is common, but people usually ignore it. In the year of Yimao spring, my younger brother was teaching in the government office in Pingzhou, Shandong, and his situation was quite good. He asked when he would come to take my nephew to the office, and the divination result was on the day of Jiashen, with the day stem's heavenly stem being Wei, and the three transmissions being Zi, Si, and Xu. I saw that the pattern of the divination showed no signs of him coming to take my nephew. This is the matter being asked about. Moreover, although the day stem encountered a nobleman on Wei, from the perspective of the day stem, Wei was the wife's wealth and also the tomb god; but from the perspective of the nobleman, the day stem was the official ghost and an enemy. How could the host and guest be at peace? In addition, the water of Zi was a defeated energy and initiated the transmission, and it also formed a six harm with the nobleman, which seemed like a sign of separation. Yin was placed on You, indicating that he would return on the day of You. Indeed, my younger brother returned the next day, which was the day of Yiyou.

回後一月舍弟索卜何時得館？餘即以前課推之，命在未上見子水生干，主有人作薦。子與丑夜貴作合，主有官相延，俟子丑月可以得館。後至十一月，由沈湘葵薦就江蘇布臬臺之招。蓋丑貴臨申，申主刑釘，故為臬司，然丑遭太歲剋制，亦不能久於此任。（此課一課與二課相害，三課與四課相害，此賓主不投之象也何況末傳之戌與一課之未，三課之丑共作三刑，為得不分手乎？但一課與四課合，二課與三課合，恰好二課之子發用，與三課支上之丑相合，是失於此者而得於彼也。）

I used the previous lesson to deduce: his birth stem is in the position of Wei, and there is Zi water in the position of Zi that is born to the day stem, indicating that someone will recommend him. Zi also combines with the night nobleman in the position of Chou, indicating that an official will invite him. He will be able to obtain the position during the month of Zi or Chou. Later, in the eleventh month, he was recommended by Shen Xiangkui, which matched the appointments of the Jiangsu Department of Civil Administration and the Department of Judicial Inspection. This is because the nobleman in the position of Chou is located in the position of Shen, which governs criminal justice and imprisonment, hence the position in the Department of Judicial Inspection. However, the position of Chou is restrained by the year stem, so this position will not be long-lasting. (Original note: In this lesson, the first and second lessons are in mutual harm, and the third and fourth lessons are also in mutual harm, which is a sign of incompatibility between host and guest. Moreover, the final transmission,戌, combines with the first lesson's position of Wei and the third lesson's position of Chou to form the Three Punishments. How could they not part ways? However, the first and fourth lessons combine, and the second and third lessons also combine. Moreover, the second lesson's Zi initiates the transmission, and it combines with the Chou in the day branch of the third lesson. This is a case of losing in one place but gaining in another.)

崇正丁丑年二月十四日亥將巳時占馬氏兄弟會試中否？　　郭氏占案

郭御青曰：餘為陳留馬君惕中諱孔健占會場，初嫌其返吟，德祿受克，未敢深許。其胞弟本命在未，行年在申，貴人驛馬並值似勝於惕中。及榜放，獨惕中及第。後詳課情三傳，俱孟吉，應長者何須簾幕貴人也？

Guo Yuqing said: I cast a divination for Ma Ti Zhong (named Kong Jian) from Chenliu for the imperial examination. At first, I was reluctant to promise him a pass because the chart was a reverse rhyme, and the de shen and lu shen were being overcome. His younger brother's birth year was in Wei, and his age year was in Shen. The nobleman and the post-horse both occupied the upper position, which seemed to be more favorable than Ma Ti Zhong's. However, when the results were announced, it was only Ma Ti Zhong who passed. Later, upon re-examining the chart, the three transmissions, Yin, Shen, and Yin, all occupied the first position of the four beginnings and were auspicious. Therefore, it was naturally meant for the elder brother. Why must there be a curtain nobleman?

愚按：登科者，祿馬扶會。此課祿馬如此，且乘天后恩澤之神，青龍吉將相併，安得不中？獨無奈其相沖也，凡相沖者必須合。惕君之命在午，午與寅三合；午上見子，子與申三合。是以中也。若其弟命上見丑，行年上見寅，皆不會合，雖為貴人驛馬，何益之有？郭君以惕中命上子為本日福星，作騰蛇而臨午，為飛空進用卦爻應題，不必多求，此郭君事後之言，似是而非。餘故刪之。又吾郡吳稼雲先生曰：此返吟課幫年命吉者而不中，而中者反作年命不吉者也。此論太奇，附之。

Cheng Shuxun remarked: For a successful examination lesson, the official of fortune and the post-horse must be combined and supportive. In this case, the official of fortune and the post-horse are indeed combined, and further supported by the Heavenly Empress, a god of grace, and the Azure Dragon, a favorable general. How could he not succeed? The only regret is the conflict between寅 and申. Whenever there is a conflict, there must be a harmonizing element to resolve it. In this case, the native's own destiny is in午, and午 and寅 form a triple harmony; also,午 has子, and子 and申 form another triple harmony, so he succeeded. As for his younger brother, his own destiny is in丑, and his age is in寅, which do not form a triple harmony. Although there are the Nobleman and the Post-horse, they are of no use. Guo Jun also said that in this case, the子 on the native's destiny is the daily fortune star, and it is riding on the Teng Snake and approaching午, which is called 'flying empty and using it', and the hexagram and line correspond to the question, so there is no need to seek further. However, this is Guo Jun's later fabrication, which seems correct but is not. Therefore, I deleted it. Moreover, a gentleman from our county, Wu Jiayun, said that in this case, those with a favorable year and destiny did not succeed, while those who succeeded had an unfavorable year and destiny. This view is very strange, so I have recorded it here for reference.

In the year of Wushen, fifth lunar month, on the day of Jiashen, when the hour of Shen is added to Chou, County Magistrate Wang (born in the year of Jiwei, on the second lunar month, ninth day, at noon, aged fifty) divined his own position and official fortune. It is from the Fangshi edition of "Zhan'an."

The Four Lessons are arranged from right to left: the first lesson is on 甲 (in the Lodging Palace of寅) with酉,乘 Vermilion Bird; the second lesson is on酉 with辰,乘 Black Tortoise; the third lesson is on the Day Branch申 with卯,乘 Tai Chang; the fourth lesson is on卯 with戌,乘 Liu He. 邵彥和曰：日上破碎作鬼克身，主與陰人具訟，官但不明。來年八月，事起必相擾。干支羅網，不可受財，定被貶謫。更老陰人，因有一子不成器。用度不足，心常怏怏，但難開口。四月十一日，必進人口。來年己酉太歲，防謫為曹屬也。庚戌則大數莫逃矣。

Shao Yanhe said: If the day stem is afflicted by the "broken pieces" star and acts as an official ghost to attack the self, it indicates a lawsuit with a woman, and the official position is unclear. By next year's eighth month, the matter will arise and cause trouble. Both the day stem and day branch are trapped in the heavenly net and earthly trap, so one must not accept any property, otherwise certain demotion will follow. Additionally, there is an elderly woman who has an incompetent son and insufficient expenses, so she is often unhappy but cannot express it. On the eleventh day of the fourth lunar month, the family will certainly add a new member. In the year of Jiyou, one must beware of being demoted to a subordinate official. By the year of Gengxu, it will be a critical time that cannot be avoided.

王知縣次年受鄉紳徐知府長子錢五百緡，被知府恭人所揭，王被責勘。蓋徐長子為義子，與次子爭分家財。次子，徐親生子也。王受賄，判與長子，故至此。庚戌在任，不得意而終。

County Magistrate Wang received five hundred thousand cash from the eldest son of the gentry official Xu, who was the son of Governor Xu. He was later reported by Governor Xu's wife and investigated. Originally, the eldest son of the Xu family was an adopted son, and he was competing with the second son for the family's wealth. The second son was actually the biological son of Governor Xu. Magistrate Wang accepted the bribe and ruled the family wealth in favor of the eldest son, which led to his downfall. He was still in office during the year Gengxu and died in despair.

蓋陽曰：酉為陰官作雀，故本身有訟，官位不明。酉為兌，兌為澤，故因恩澤受財。初傳在日之前，甲克戌為財，卯與之合，又得六合，是暗受財。被追擾者，干支羅網不可脫也。己酉遭謫，是酉克甲也。酉加寅上，故曰曹屬。庚戌年死者，己加戌，用申未旬末，故閉口不能言也。庚戌行年在巳，本宮為子所克，巳又加戌入墓，故閉口而銕也。

Covering the explanation of the Yang interpretation: You is the official of Yin metal and is accompanied by the Vermilion Bird, which governs speech and documents, so the person has legal disputes and unclear official status. You belongs to Dui in the Eight Trigrams, and Dui represents a marsh, so it is receiving money due to "favor and grace." The first transmission is Xu, which comes before the day branch. Jia wood overcomes Xu as wealth, and Mao combines with Xu, and is accompanied by Liu He, which is the image of receiving wealth secretly. Therefore, being pursued and troubled is because the day stem and day branch are trapped in a net and cannot escape. In the year Jiyou, he was demoted because You metal overcomes Jia wood. You is placed on寅, which is the lodging palace of Jia, so he was demoted to an official in the office of the Censor. In the year Gengxu, he died because Ji soil is placed on Xu, the useful god falls into the last part of the Sheng and Wei decades, which is the place of Kongwang, so he could not speak. In the year Gengxu, his year stem is in Si, and his native palace is overcome by Zi water, and Si is placed on Xu and enters the tomb, so he died in silence (the original text says "銕," which is likely a mistake for "毙").

又云：一老陰人，因子用度不足，心中常怏怏者，用王知縣有弟不才而窘，母深憐惜，王不垂顧，母常怏怏。蓋巳為閉口乘太陰，故老陰人怏怏不言也。巳下人者，甲以巳為子弟也。

It is also said that the phrase "a old woman is unhappy because her son's expenses are insufficient" refers to Wang County Magistrate having a brother who is unskilled and in a difficult situation. The mother feels very pity for him, but Wang County Magistrate refuses to support him, causing the mother to be often unhappy. This is because巳 is the "closed mouth" deity and is associated with Tai Yin. Tai Yin represents an old woman, so the old woman is unhappy but does not speak out. The person indicated by巳 is taken as the son's younger brother, based on the meaning of the relationship between Jia wood and巳, which signifies a younger relative.

崇正丁丑年四月乙酉日乙酉時，嘉興馮爾忠占六甲，重審、斬關、伏吟，午未空、午未落空。指南

In the fourth month of the Dingchou year of the Chongzhen era, on the Yiyou day and Yiyou hour, Feng Erzhong from Jiaxing cast the "Liu Jia" divination, which concerns pregnancy and childbirth. The lesson pattern is Rezhen, Zhanguan, and Fuyin. In the Jiashen decade, the noon and wei hours are considered empty. The hour of the divination, which is wei, also falls into the empty position. This comes from the "Liu Ren Zhi Nan".

The three transmissions are Chen, You, and Mao: the first transmission, Chen with the hidden壬 (Ren), represents wife wealth, governed by Gou Chen; the middle transmission, You with the hidden乙 (Yi), represents official ghosts, governed by Heavenly Empress; the final transmission, Mao with the hidden辛 (Xin), represents siblings, governed by Azure Dragon.

陳公獻曰：產必雙胎，一男一女，然男必生，女必死。何也？酉為日之胎鬼死氣，偏房婢室之孕不言矣。但末傳卯作支之胎神生氣，中傳酉兌為少陰，末傳卯震為長男；其男子生者，胎財生氣也；女子死者，作死氣日鬼也。

Chen Gongxian said: This pregnancy will certainly result in twins, one boy and one girl, but the boy will survive while the girl will die young. Why? The酉 (You) is the fetal god of the 乙 (Yi) day, and it is also the official ghost and belongs to death qi, which indicates a pregnancy by a concubine. This point does not need further explanation. The final transmission卯 (Mao) is the fetal god of the day branch and belongs to life qi; the middle transmission酉 (You), in the eight trigrams, is Dui (Lake), representing a young girl, while the final transmission卯 (Mao), in the eight trigrams, is Zhen (Thunder), representing the eldest son. The boy can be born because the fetal god of the final transmission is riding on life qi; the girl dies young because the middle transmission is death qi and also the day ghost.

建炎己酉年閏八月乙酉日辰將卯時祝秀才壬辰生三十八歲占訟　　　方本占案　　張本占案

In the year Jiyou of the Jianyan era, on the闰 August day Yiyou, at the time when the Dragon (Chen) was added to the Rabbit (Mao), Zhu Xiucai, born in the year Renchen and aged thirty-eight, consulted about legal matters. The sequence of亥,子,丑 is connected in succession, forming the "Lian Ru Lesson."

邵彥和曰：主子偷物，出外賣之，陰人乘勢爭財，少女從而應之，迤裡閒氣成訟。蓋因連茹課，故遂連綿起事，卻幸我之行年自前截住，終為我所遏。何也？自酉支上見戌，連接戌亥子丑，卯為行年，加寅截住，此名挫鋒，眾議俱解，但前進俱解，畏怕則被攻不止矣。祝有子將公眾之物偷賣，其嫂與其弟之女說之，遂經官具訟。祝秀才凂公人陳姓者調停，其事遂息。

Shao Yanhe said: The main issue is that the son in the family stole something and took it outside to sell. A woman took advantage of the situation to claim the property, and a young girl joined in from the side, causing a disturbance and eventually leading to a lawsuit. Because it is the "Lian Ru" divination, the matters follow one after another. Fortunately, the person who cast the divination had their year of birth in front, which stopped the matter, and finally my side was able to prevent it. Why? From the day branch酉, starting with戌, the sequence continues through戌,亥,子,丑. The year of birth is卯, placed on寅, which cuts off the sequence, called "cuofeng." When people start to discuss, the matter is resolved. However, one must take a step forward to resolve it. If one is timid, the matter will continue to be attacked. Later, Zhu Xiucai indeed had a son who stole public property and sold it. His嫂子 and his nephew's daughter encouraged the matter, and it was reported to the authorities. Zhu Xiucai asked a public official named Chen to mediate, and the matter was finally settled.

順治乙酉年五月乙酉日申將辰時占出師　　　指南

In the Yiyou year of the Shunzhi era, on the Yiyou day of the fifth lunar month, the Shen general was added to the Chen hour, and the divination was made about military campaigns. It is from the "Six壬 Guide."

The three transmissions are申,子,辰: the first transmission 申, withDun Jia as官鬼, accompanied byGou Chen; the middle transmission 子, with遁戊 as父母, accompanied byNobleman; the final transmission 辰, with遁壬 as妻财, accompanied byTai Chang. The combination of申,子,辰 forms the triple harmony of water, known as '润下'.

陳公獻曰：乙酉五月初四日，予避難福緣庵同盟副帥予避難於福終庵，同盟副師楊九苞督舟師隨徵時，修書差官相召同事，予因幼兒隨身固辭，乃占一課寄之，元首、九丑、潤下，午未空、戌亥落空。南都定然歸順，放心前行，但防東南有兵變之虞。蓋因末傳旺相，財爻生合初傳官貴，且結水局生日，又合中無煞，是為主者必歸順而貢降也。且干支休囚，則旺氣在內，其城不可拔，亦無屠戮之慘，辰陰見太乙白虎建旺合克酉支，因而提防東南兵變也。後果如所占。

Chen Gongxian said: On the fourth day of the fifth lunar month in the Yiyou year, I took refuge in Fuyuan Temple (the original text repeats this sentence, also written as "I took refuge in Fuzhong Temple," indicating a copying error). The deputy commander of the allied forces, Yang Jiubao, led the naval forces and sent a letter to summon me to join him. Because I was accompanied by a young child, I refused to go, and therefore cast a divination for him. The lesson pattern is Yuan Shou, Ji Chou, Runxia, with the旬空 in Wu and Wei. The time of divination was in Xu and Hai, which were empty. The interpretation said: Nanjing will certainly submit, so be at ease and proceed, but be cautious of military disturbances in the southeast. This interpretation was based on the fact that the final transmission, Chen, was prosperous and strong, the wealth hexagram generated and harmonized with the initial transmission's official ghost and noble deity, and the three transmissions formed a water pattern to generate the day stem. There were noInauspicious Sha in the combination, so the party in question would certainly submit. Moreover, the day stem and day branch were weak and confined, while the prosperous energy was within the city, so the city could not be attacked forcefully, and there would be no massacre. The Yin spirit on Chen was seen with Taiyi and Baihu, which were strong and combined to overcome the day branch You, so one should be cautious of military disturbances in the southeast. Later events proved the divination correct.
