On the day of Dingyou in the first lunar month, using the hour of亥 as the starting point and adding酉, the divination is made to determine the intention of the person coming. This example is taken from the "Five Essentials and Balance." The arrangement of the Heaven Plate branches still advances two positions compared to the Earth Plate. The lesson format is the same as the previous example: the Nobleman is on the Heaven Plate酉 and is located on the Earth Plate未, the Heavenly Empress is on the Heaven Plate戌 and is located on the Earth Plate申, the Tai Yin is on the Heaven Plate亥 and is located on the Earth Plate酉, the Black Tortoise is on the Heaven Plate子 and is located on the Earth Plate戌, the Tai Chang is on the Heaven Plate丑 and is located on the Earth Plate亥, the White Tiger is on the Heaven Plate寅 and is located on the Earth Plate子, the Tian Kong is on the Heaven Plate卯 and is located on the Earth Plate丑, the Azure Dragon is on the Heaven Plate辰 and is located on the Earth Plate寅, the Gou Chen is on the Heaven Plate巳 and is located on the Earth Plate卯, the Liu He is on the Heaven Plate午 and is located on the Earth Plate辰, the Vermilion Bird is on the Heaven Plate未 and is located on the Earth Plate巳, and the Teng Snake is on the Heaven Plate申 and is located on the Earth Plate午. The four lessons, arranged from right to left, are酉 added to丁 (丁's lodging palace is未),亥 added to酉,亥 added to酉, and丑 added to亥. The upper gods in sequence are the Nobleman, Tai Yin, Tai Yin, and Tai Chang. The three transmissions are酉,亥, and丑: the first transmission is酉 metal with the Nobleman, hidden dry branch丁, representing 'wealth'; the middle transmission is亥 water with Tai Yin, hidden dry branch己, representing 'official ghost'; the final transmission is丑 earth with Tai Chang, hidden dry branch辛, representing 'son'.
Zhu Huán said: The intention of the person who came was about theft and murder, but later the thief was caught. The incident involved a woman who committed murder with a traveler on a boat, killing a monk and a servant, and then throwing their bodies into the water. The woman had an affair with the monk, and was regarded as the monk's wife. According to the classics: You (酉) represents a young woman, so it is said to be caused by the wife; Hai (亥) represents ghosts, thieves, and solitary people, so it is not immediately certain that the thief was the one who killed. First, we look at the month builder: today's ghost is Guimao (癸卯), and the sky is on Mao (卯), the sky represents a traveler, which here refers to the people on the boat. Then we look at Xinhai (辛亥): Xin is today's wife, and Hai combines with Mao, which is exactly the wife and the traveler conspiring to commit murder. After careful consideration, it still comes to this. You (酉) has a ghost on Ding, You is the wife, and Gui is the ghost, which is the wife harming herself. The woman was born in the year Guiyou (癸酉), which is quite strange; although the case was uncovered and she was put in jail, she escaped without being convicted due to a change in the world situation.

In the year of Jisi, on the tenth lunar month, on the day of Dingyou, using the general of Chou added to the hour of Xu, the divination was cast to inquire about the reason for someone knocking on the door. This example is taken from the "Six Nian Guide." The branches on the Heaven Plate are three positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. The hour of Xu is night, and the nobleman of the day is located at You. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at You and arrives at the Earth Plate at Wu, which belongs to the yin direction. The heavenly generals are arranged in reverse order: the nobleman is on You and arrives at Wu, the Teng Snake is on Shen and arrives at Si, the Vermilion Bird is on Wei and arrives at Chen, the Liu He is on Wu and arrives at Mao, the Gou Chen is on Si and arrives at Yin, the Azure Dragon is on Chen and arrives at Chou, the Tian Kong is on Mao and arrives at Zi, the White Tiger is on Yin and arrives at Hai, the Tai Chang is on Chou and arrives at Xu, the Black Tortoise is on Zi and arrives at You, the Tai Yin is on Hai and arrives at Shen, and the Heavenly Empress is on Xu and arrives at Wei. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: Ding is located in the palace of Wei, with Xu on Wei, which is the first lesson; Xu has Chou on it, which is the second lesson; the day branch You has Zi on it, which is the third lesson; Zi has Mao on it, which is the fourth lesson. The upper spirits are successively occupied by the Heavenly Empress, Tai Chang, Black Tortoise, and Tian Kong. The three transmissions are Zi, Mao, and Wu: the first transmission is water at Zi, occupied by the Black Tortoise, with the hidden dry branch Geng, which conquers the fire of Ding as "official ghost"; the middle transmission is wood at Mao, occupied by Tian Kong, with the hidden dry branch Gui, which generates the fire of Ding as "parents"; the final transmission is fire at Wu, occupied by Liu He, with the hidden dry branch Jia, which is of the same type as Ding as "companion," and Wu is also the禄神 (lucky position) of the day of Ding.
Chen Gongxian said: Whoever knocks on the door must be about a robbery. When the door was opened, it turned out to be Che and Wang, two senior teachers, inviting us. When we went to see them, they just sat down and said: There is a candidate causing trouble in that area. I secretly cast a divination in my sleeve and answered: It will fail and be captured, there is no need to worry. Because the day stem and day branch are riding on death qi and the tomb god, the black tortoise ghost is also present in the bathing and defeat place, and the god of the day stem can still control it, so it will not last long, and when the earth element becomes strong, it will naturally be resolved. They then asked if the family residence was safe. I asked: What is your birth date? They answered: Yihai and Wuzi. I said: Those born in the year of Hai have the post-horse and nobleman fully present, while those born in the year of Zi are riding on Hekui. Two layers of noblemen also enclose the Hai birth in the middle. Those born in Hai have the status of a candidate but have not yet achieved it, while those born in Zi are people who passed the imperial examination. Both will move to other places. They said: The one born in Hai is the elder brother, a candidate, and the one born in Zi is the younger brother, an imperial examinee. Indeed, before the twelfth month, the person causing trouble failed, and both families were safe and unharmed.
On Dingyou day, a scholar named He asked about his future prospects (from Oral Insights · Fang's Divination Cases).

In the year of Wu Shen, fifth month, on the day of Ding You, using the general of Shen and the time of Chen, a case is made for He Xiucai, born in the year of Ding Hai, aged twenty-two, to inquire about his future. This example is taken from "Kou Jian" and "Fang Ben Zhan An." The branches on the Heaven Plate are four positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. The time of Chen belongs to the daytime, and on a day of Ding, the nobleman is located at Hai. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at Hai and on the Earth Plate at Wei, which belongs to the yin side. The Heavenly General is arranged in reverse: the nobleman is on Hai and on Wei, the Teng Snake is on Xu and on Wu, the Vermilion Bird is on You and on Si, the Liu He is on Shen and on Chen, the Gou Chen is on Wei and on Mao, the Azure Dragon is on Wu and on Yin, the Tian Kong is on Si and on Chou, the Bai Hu is on Chen and on Zi, the Tai Chang is on Mao and on Hai, the Xuan Wu is on Yin and on Xu, the Tai Yin is on Chou and on You, and the Heavenly Empress is on Zi and on Shen. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the fire of Ding is lodged in Wei, with Hai on Wei, which is the first lesson; Hai has Si on it, which is the second lesson; the day branch You has Chou on it, which is the third lesson; Chou has Si on it, which is the fourth lesson. The upper spirits are successively the nobleman, Tai Chang, Tai Yin, and Tian Kong. The three transmissions of Hai, Mao, and Wei form a wood trinity: the first transmission is water at Hai, riding the nobleman, with the hidden dry branch Ji, which is the "official ghost" and conquers the fire of Ding; the middle transmission is wood at Mao, riding Tai Chang, with the hidden dry branch Ji, which is the "parents" and generates the fire of Ding; the final transmission is earth at Wei, riding Gou Chen, with the hidden dry branch Yi, which is the "son and daughter."
Shao Yanhe said: His birth stem亥is placed on the day stem and serves as the first transmission. Since it is an official star and is also accompanied by a nobleman, it indicates that the nobleman brings the official position, and he will certainly pass the imperial examination at the age of thirty. After passing the examination, he will surely suffer a serious illness, but after recovery, it will turn out to be auspicious, and he will gradually attain the position of a local governor. The day branch, which is丑, is accompanied by Tai Yin, indicating that he will live in his old house all his life and will never be able to build a new house. He will only have the title of a local governor but not the actual position. He will be plagued by illness and will not be able to take up an important post. Hee the candidate passed the examination at the age of twenty-nine, was admitted as a jinshi at thirty, and was appointed as the governor of Taizhou in his sixth appointment, but he was unable to take office due to a stroke.
The亥 water overcomes the丁 fire, so it is considered the official star. The native's own destiny is also the official star, which means the official star is urging itself. At the age of thirty, it was the丙辰 year. In the辰, there was a申, which generated亥 water. The official star had strength, so he passed the examination. After passing the examination, he was ill for over forty days before recovering. This is because first we consider the official star and then the aspect and overcoming. Although he was ill, he did not die because亥卯未 formed a wood trinity, and wood can generate fire.卯 is the god that generates丁, and the number of卯 is six, so he reached the sixth position. The末传 was the未 earth, which is himself, placed on the day's禄卯, and was restrained byGou Chen. The未 earth can generate wind, and it carries the atmosphere of death and decline, becoming a false wind.Gou Chen is the god of stagnation, so he was permanently bound by it. The未 earth is the current day's丁 (丁 is hidden in未), and未 dies in卯, while丁 also declines in卯. The未 earth is the one responsible for guarding the land, but since it is in a place of death and decline, he could not fulfill his duty.
On Dingyou day, He Xuelu divined about the position of the self and the family residence (from "Oral Mirror · Fang Ben Divination Case").

He Xuelu was born in the year Gengshen and is forty-nine years old. He divined his own position and family residence, and also received this lesson. This example is taken from "Kou Jian" and "Fang Ben Zhan An." The lesson format is the same as the previous example: the Nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at亥 and comes to the Earth Plate at未, the Teng Snake is on the Heaven Plate at戌 and comes to the Earth Plate at午, the Vermilion Bird is on the Heaven Plate at酉 and comes to the Earth Plate at巳, Liu He is on the Heaven Plate at申 and comes to the Earth Plate at辰, Gou Chen is on the Heaven Plate at未 and comes to the Earth Plate at卯, the Azure Dragon is on the Heaven Plate at午 and comes to the Earth Plate at寅, Tian Kong is on the Heaven Plate at巳 and comes to the Earth Plate at丑, the White Tiger is on the Heaven Plate at辰 and comes to the Earth Plate at子, Tai Chang is on the Heaven Plate at卯 and comes to the Earth Plate at亥, the Black Tortoise is on the Heaven Plate at寅 and comes to the Earth Plate at戌, Tai Yin is on the Heaven Plate at丑 and comes to the Earth Plate at酉, and the Heavenly Empress is on the Heaven Plate at子 and comes to the Earth Plate at申. The four lessons, from right to left, are亥 added to丁 (丁's lodging palace is未),卯 added to亥,丑 added to酉, and巳 added to丑. The upper gods in sequence are the Nobleman, Tai Chang, Tai Yin, and Tian Kong. The three transmissions are亥,卯, and未: the first transmission is亥 water with the Nobleman, hidden dry branch is己, which is "official ghost"; the middle transmission is卯 wood with Tai Chang, hidden dry branch is癸, which is "parents"; the final transmission is未 earth with Gou Chen, hidden dry branch is乙, which is "children."
Shao Yanhe said: The person in the previous lesson was twenty-two years old, and the number of official stars had not yet been completed, which was exactly the age to take an official position; this person was already forty-nine, and the number of official stars had already passed, so the亥 water became the absolute evil that harmed the person, and the final transmission of the earth element was also harmed, unable to control the water, thus the lifespan was short, and he would certainly die in the Xinhai year. Moreover, the卯 was a cutting road and kongwang, and the未 was added on top of it, so it could only be regarded as kongwang, thus not being taken seriously. Furthermore, the left side in front of the house should not have been disturbed by people moving graves, cutting off the dragon pulse, and also burying an old woman, thus causing trouble, leading to the destruction of the family's fortune. He Xue Lu at the age of thirty-two passed the imperial examination, and the number of official stars had already been used up, and after forty, he was powerless, so he could not become a jinshi, only becoming a xuelu, and died in the Xinhai year.
Heavenly Stems: Jia, Yi, Bing, Ding, Wu, Ji, Geng, Xin, Ren, Gui Earthly Branches: Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, Hai Trigrams: Qian (Heaven), Dui (Lake), Li (Fire), Zhen (Thunder), Xun (Wind), Kan (Water), Gen (Mountain), Kun (Earth) Glossary: Tai Yin = Tai Yin The water of Hai overcomes the fire of Ding, thus becoming the official star. The number of Hai is four, and the number of Wei is eight. Four multiplied by eight equals thirty-two, so after forty years, it loses its effectiveness. Since it is no longer an official, it becomes a ghost, which then overcomes the body. Hai is also the terminal phase for Ding fire, and at the year of Hai, the ghost energy is strongest, so the body cannot escape, leading to death. On the day of You, with Chou added to You as the tomb god, Chou is in front, facing from west to north, which is the left side. Tai Yin represents the image of an old woman. As for dying at fifty-two, it is because the water of Zi in the birth chart turns into a killer, breaking the禄 (favorable destiny). It is the same lesson, but due to an additional layer of water in the birth chart, the outcome differs so greatly. Another explanation: dying at fifty-two is because the water of Zi in the birth chart turns into a killer, breaking the禄.

In the year of the Ox, fourth month, on the day of Dingyou, using the hour of巳 with the general of酉, a scholar named Liu Tuizhai from the Han dynasty asked about whether he would be granted leave to return home to visit his parents. This example is taken from the "Six Yin Guide." With the general of酉 added to the hour of巳, the branches on the Heaven Plate still advance four positions relative to the Earth Plate, making the lesson pattern the same as the previous two examples: the Nobleman rides the Heaven Plate亥 and is located on the Earth Plate未, the Teng Snake rides the戌 and is located on the午, the Vermilion Bird rides the酉 and is located on the巳, the Liu He rides the申 and is located on the辰, the Gou Chen rides the未 and is located on the卯, the Azure Dragon rides the午 and is located on the寅, the Tian Kong rides the巳 and is located on the丑, the White Tiger rides the辰 and is located on the子, the Tai Chang rides the卯 and is located on the亥, the Tai Yin rides the寅 and is located on the戌, the Tian Hou rides the子 and is located on the申. The four lessons, arranged from right to left, are亥 added to丁,卯 added to亥,丑 added to酉, and巳 added to丑. The upper gods in sequence ride the Nobleman, Tai Chang, Tai Yin, and Tian Kong. The three transmissions are亥,卯, and未: the first transmission is亥 water riding the Nobleman as "official ghost," the middle transmission is卯 wood riding the Tai Chang as "parents," and the final transmission is未 earth riding the Gou Chen as "son and daughter."
Chen Gongxian said: This memorial will not be approved, and he will certainly receive a gentle imperial edict to retain him. How do I know this? The Heavenly Horse and the Post-horse both fall on his year stem, which normally indicates movement. However, the first transmission is the official star and nobleman, with the day virtue and the post-horse both restricting and clinging to the long life position, indicating that he is not in control of his actions and cannot move. He also said: The Vermilion Bird governs documents, but it falls into an empty position, indicating that the documents will not be completed. The middle transmission is the卯 wood which conflicts with the Tai sui on the day branch, indicating that the sovereign is obstructing from the middle, and a warm edict will be issued to retain him. Later, it indeed turned out that his leave request was not approved.

In the year of Wuchen (1740) of the Qianlong era, on a day of Wuxu, a lesson was cast using the hour of Chen with the general Chen. A scholar from Shanxi named Zhang asked whether he could return home. This example is taken from Wang Mufu's divination records. The branches on the Heaven Plate are seven positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. In this lesson, the Nobleman is riding on the Heaven Plate's Chou, which is located on the Earth Plate's Wu, which belongs to the Yin direction. The Heavenly Generals are arranged in reverse order: the Nobleman rides Chou and is located on Wu, the Heavenly Empress rides Yin and is located on Wei, Tai Yin rides Mao and is located on Shen, Xuan Wu rides Chen and is located on You, Tai Chang rides Si and is located on Xu, Bai Hu rides Wu and is located on Hai, Tian Kong rides Wei and is located on Zi, Qing Long rides Shen and is located on Chou, Gou Chen rides You and is located on Yin, Liu He rides Xu and is located on Mao, Zhu Que rides Hai and is located on Chen, and Teng Snake rides Zi and is located on Si. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the earthy Wu is located in the palace of Si, and Si has Zi, which is the first lesson; Zi has Wei, which is the second lesson; the day branch Wu has Si, which is the third lesson; and Si has Zi, which is the fourth lesson. The upper spirits are successively riding Teng Snake, Tian Kong, Tai Chang, and Teng Snake. The three transmissions are Zi, Wei, and Yin: the first transmission is water Zi riding Teng Snake, with the hidden dry branch Geng, which is the "wealth" of Wu earth; the middle transmission is earth Wei riding Tian Kong, with the hidden dry branch Yi, which is the same as Wu and is "brother"; the final transmission is wood Yin riding Heavenly Empress, with the hidden dry branch Ren, which is the "official ghost" that conquers Wu earth.
Wang Mufu said: This divination indicates that one cannot return to the hometown. After June, there will be matters concerning moving with the wife, and it seems that one can only remain here in the end. First, the initial transmission is initiated by Teng Snake and is associated with wife's wealth, which is located above the day's body. The cost for returning home is insufficient, which is the first layer. Second, the巳 (Si) is riding Tai Chang and falls on the day's branch. Since Si is the lodging palace of Wu, the body is incorporated into the day's branch's storage, so how can one move? This is the second layer. Third, the three transmissions proceed from Zi to Yin, and the final transmission falls in the Northeast direction, failing to reach the West. This is the third layer. With these three layers of signs, how can one return to the homeland?
Now looking at the day branch, which is Si: Si represents a young woman, and it is occupied by Tai Chang above. This indicates relatives coming from outside into the household, which refers to the wife's relatives coming to stay, living together and causing disputes. The first transmission is Teng Snake, falling on the wife's position, and it conflicts with the middle transmission, which is Wu earth, thereby harming Tian Kong. This indicates noise and disputes, so there will be arguments. Wu represents June, and the day branch Si also combines with theThe Post-horse (post-horse) of the day, which is Shen, from the戌 day. Therefore, there is an indication of moving house in June. When the lesson was cast, Brother Zhang had already married a妾 (concubine) living in the southern pass, and because the concubine's relatives came to live together, Brother Zhang felt very resentful. Indeed, in June they moved to a small eastern gate, and the household became peaceful, and until now they have not returned to their hometown.

In the year Guiyou of the Chongzhen era, on the Wuxu day of the eleventh lunar month, a divination was cast to determine the time of childbirth, following the method of starting the lesson with the寅 general added to the午 hour. This example is taken from the "Guo's Divination Cases." The branches on the Heaven Plate are eight positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. The午 hour belongs to the day time, and on a Wu day, the nobleman is in the丑 position. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate丑 and falls on the Earth Plate巳, which is of the yin direction. The heavenly generals are arranged in reverse order: the nobleman is on丑 and falls on巳, the Heavenly Empress is on寅 and falls on午, the Tai Yin is on卯 and falls on未, the Black Tortoise is on辰 and falls on申, the Tai Chang is on巳 and falls on酉, the White Tiger is on午 and falls on戌, the Tian Kong is on未 and falls on亥, the Azure Dragon is on申 and falls on子, the Gou Chen is on酉 and falls on丑, the Liu He is on戌 and falls on寅, the Vermilion Bird is on亥 and falls on卯, and the Teng Snake is on子 and falls on辰. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the戊 is in the巳 palace, with the丑 on top, which is the first lesson; the丑 has the酉 on top, which is the second lesson; the day branch戌 has the午 on top, which is the third lesson; and the午 has the寅 on top, which is the fourth lesson. The upper spirits are successively occupied by the nobleman, Gou Chen, White Tiger, and Heavenly Empress. The three transmissions,寅,戌, and午, form a fire trinity: the initial transmission is寅 wood with the Heavenly Empress, hidden stem Ren, which conquers Wu earth as 'official ghost'; the middle transmission is戌 earth with Liu He, hidden stem Wu, which is the same as the day stem as 'brother'; the final transmission is午 fire with the White Tiger, hidden stem Jia, which generates Wu earth as 'parents'.
Guo Yuqing said: Previously, I had divined the time of childbirth, and in the lesson on Dinghai day, the Ding spirit was used to initiate the divination, and it was known that the delivery should be on the day of Wu Xu. When I divined again on Wu Xu day, was it indeed on the day of Si that the delivery occurred? In this lesson, the nobleman was present on the day stem, and Chou, which represents the abdomen, was seated on the旬空 of Si, which means that the delivery must have occurred first, and then the abdomen became empty. Also, Wu is the nurturing spirit of Wu, and it is accompanied by the White Tiger, which is an omen of quick childbirth; Wu is also located on the day of Xu, which definitely indicates that the delivery occurred on that day. Previously, in the lesson of Yin and Ding, Yin and Wu virtually invited the day of Xu in the middle. Now, the three transmissions exactly are Yin, Xu, and Wu. In addition, in the lesson of the year Renshen on the day Jichou with Si added, the initiating transmission is on Zi, which is accompanied by the nobleman, and now the day stem Chou is also accompanied by the nobleman. The three lessons correspond with each other in sequence, which is truly remarkable!

This example is taken from the《Fang Ben Zhan An》and《Kou Jian》. The branches on the Heaven Plate are eight positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. The寅 hour belongs to the night, and the night nobleman for the戊 day is in the未. The nobleman rides the Heaven Plate's 未 and is located on the Earth Plate's亥. The亥 belongs to the yang side. The heavenly generals are arranged in order: the nobleman rides the 未 and is located on the亥, the Teng Snake rides the申 and is located on the子, the Vermilion Bird rides the酉 and is located on the丑, the Liu He rides the戌 and is located on the寅, the Gou Chen rides the亥 and is located on the卯, the Azure Dragon rides the子 and is located on the辰, the Tian Kong rides the丑 and is located on the巳, the White Tiger rides the寅 and is located on the午, the Tai Chang rides the卯 and is located on the未, the Black Tortoise rides the辰 and is located on the申, the Tai Yin rides the巳 and is located on the酉, and the Heavenly Empress rides the午 and is located on the戌. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the戊 is in the巳 palace, with the丑 on the巳, riding the Tian Kong, which is the first lesson; the酉 is on the丑, riding the Vermilion Bird, which is the second lesson (the original text here reads '申' and notes the Teng Snake, which is inconsistent with the Heaven and Earth Plates, so it is likely a printing error); the午 is on the戌, riding the Heavenly Empress, which is the third lesson; and the寅 is on the午, riding the White Tiger, which is the fourth lesson. The three transmissions are寅,戌, and午, forming a fire trinity: the first transmission is寅 wood riding the White Tiger, with the hidden dry branch壬, which conquers the戊 earth as 'official ghost'; the middle transmission is戌 earth riding the Liu He, with the hidden dry branch戊, which is 'brother'; the final transmission is午 fire riding the Heavenly Empress, with the hidden dry branch甲, which is 'parents', and the午 is also the yang blade of the戊 day.
Shao Yanhe said: Generally, when a monk or Taoist occupies the position of abbot, the day stem represents himself, and the day branch represents the position of the abbot. In spring, if the fire element is strong, it is naturally favorable; however, it is not appropriate for the yang刃 (yang sharpness) of the fire to be on the day branch, with the Heavenly Empress added on top. This indicates that the abbot will hold the position for nine months, and will have an improper relationship with a man surnamed Zhu, leading to punishment and expulsion. The first transmission is the official ghost, which is located on the wife's position of the day branch. Although the third transmission transforms fire to nourish the day stem, the fire will not last long and will eventually fade, while the寅 wood is actually the ghost of the戌 earth. The丑 on the day stem is accompanied by Tian Kong, which is the image of the "empty gate" in the transmission of the teaching. The abbot can currently obtain the position, but later will be accused by someone with the same degree, and will be ruined due to the improper relationship.
The Taoist priest Pan sought the position of abbot. The trigram Chou (Ox) is occupied by Tian Kong (Heavenly Void), indicating an omen of recommending a virtuous person into the monastic order. Chou in the category of deities represents monks, and monks and Taoists are of the same kind, so the abbotship would certainly be attained. Later, in the fifth lunar month, he received an official document, and in the sixth month, he took up his post at the temple. There was a woman named Zhu, the wife of a local official, living nearby, and they began to associate. From the sixth month to the second month of the following year, a total of nine months, they were together. However, they were eventually reported by Wang San, who had previously shared the same monastic certificate, and after being subjected to interrogation by the authorities, they were expelled from the temple.
In general, the fire aspect of the fire element is inherently heady and tailless, like a flame that burns briefly and then dies out; moreover, it combines with the Heavenly Empress, thus losing its companion. The Heavenly Empress is on the position of Wu, which represents a woman. The characters Wu and Wei resemble the surname Zhu. The yang blade of Wu day is located at Wu, so there is a punishment involved. This image originates from the fourth lesson, so it leads to being expelled from the temple. The hidden noble is riding the Tian Kong, so it can still enter the temple; once inside, it is naturally subject to harm.
There is another corrected explanation: the element Wu belongs to the trigram Li (Fire) in the Eight Trigrams, and is paired with the Vermilion Bird, so the surname Zhu is determined. Using the shape of the characters 'wu' and 'wei' resembling 'Zhu' is incorrect. It is also said that the Heavenly Empress is a woman, and Wu itself also signifies a woman; when Wu is placed on the Day Branch, it becomes the Yang Blade for the day of Wu, so it indicates punishment due to a woman. Since this image falls on the Day Branch, one should first take refuge and then face the punishment.
On Wuxu day, Yuan Zhi Zhen divined his entire life (Fang Ben Zhan An · Kou Jian)
In the year of Wushen of the Jia Shen era, on the Wuxu day of the 11th lunar month, a divination was cast using the Gou Chen general added to the卯 hour. The subject, Yuan Zhi Zhen, was born in the year Guiyou and was thirty-six years old, seeking to know his destiny. This example is taken from the "Fang Ben Zhan An" and "Kou Jian." The branches on the Heaven Plate are two positions behind those on the Earth Plate. The卯 hour belongs to the day time, and on a Wu day, the nobleman is in the丑 position. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at丑 and on the Earth Plate at卯. The卯 belongs to the yang direction, and the heavenly generals are arranged in order. The nobleman is on丑 and on卯, the Teng Snake is on寅 and on辰, the Vermilion Bird is on卯 and on巳, the Liu He is on辰 and on午, the Gou Chen is on巳 and on未, the Azure Dragon is on午 and on申, the Tian Kong is on未 and on酉, the White Tiger is on申 and on戌, the Tai Chang is on酉 and on亥, the Black Tortoise is on戌 and on子, and the Tai Yin is on亥 and on丑, with the Heavenly Empress on子 and on寅. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the戊 earth is in the巳 palace, with卯 on the巳, which is the first lesson; the卯 has丑 on it, which is the second lesson; the day branch戌 has申 on it, which is the third lesson; the申 has午 on it, which is the fourth lesson. The upper gods are successively riding the Vermilion Bird, the nobleman, the White Tiger, and the Azure Dragon. The three transmissions are丑,亥, and酉, moving backward in sequence, all being yin branches, so this is called the "extreme yin" lesson. The first transmission is丑 earth riding the nobleman, with the hidden heavenly stem Xin, which is of the same type as Wu, making it "brother"; the middle transmission is亥 water riding the Tai Yin, with the hidden heavenly stem Ji, which is "wife and wealth"; the final transmission is酉 metal riding the Tai Chang, with the hidden heavenly stem Ding, which is "son and daughter."
Shao Yanhe said: This is a "extreme yin" divination. The Wu earth dies at Mao and fails at You. The first transmission is on Chou with a nobleman, indicating enjoyment of the father's blessings. The middle transmission is Hai, which is the officialdom place for Wu earth, and it is also on Chou, indicating receiving the family wealth from the father. Chou is originally the god representing parents, and with the nobleman on top, it is even more certain, so it is said to enjoy the father's blessings. The final transmission is You, which is the failing place for Wu day, and it is also his own destiny, but it is placed on Hai water, indicating self-destruction. The middle transmission is water and the final transmission is You, which must be caused by wine and women. You also has Tai Yin and Tai Chang, and the Chou earth tends toward the northwest, so it is certain that it will result in tuberculosis from wine and women. The number of Hai is four and the number of You is six, indicating death at the age of forty-six. Afterwards, it will still rely on a relative of the mourning clothes rank to decide everything, because the house has Shen, and Wu earth's growth is in Shen, so it is said there is a relative of the mourning clothes rank. All these predictions eventually came true.

Yuan Zhi Zhen was in charge of the new town of Huzhou, and was supposed to take office in the year Geng Xu. In the year Ji You, in the tenth month, Shao Longguo came to take charge of Huzhou. Yuan's father had once entrusted him, so Yuan avoided the post and was transferred to supervise the Nan Yue Temple in Zezhou, returning with a full load. Later he was in charge of the Lingkou granary in Dezhou, but after half a year, he suffered the death of his mother. Yuan was always fond of wine and women, and there were seven officials appointed within his household. The master family fell ill with a sexually transmitted disease during the years Chen, Si, Wu, and Wei, and died on the 27th day of the first lunar month in the year Ji Wei. Mr. Shao was always most afraid of the combination of Chou, Hai, and You, called "extreme yin," and this was the true extreme. Moreover, Wu and Xu, both earth elements, die in Mao and are defeated in You, which can be considered as extreme damage, so they developed the disease. You combined with Hai, which is extreme defeat, so they died. Cheng Shuxun remarked: When predicting the lifespan or medical conditions, if the year is Chou and the time is Mao, the death date should be determined by the gods above and below the native's birth chart.
On Wuxu day, the monk Xiangming divined the submission of a petition (fragmentary text)
In the year Dingsi of the Qianlong reign, on the 3rd month, on the Wuxu day, the class was started with the戌 general added to the午 hour. Master Xiangming, a monk at Dongyang Temple, was born in the year Renxu, aged fifty-six, wanted to submit a lawsuit to the official, but the submissions were repeatedly rejected, so he came to me to seek a divination on which day the case would be accepted. This case is taken from the "Cancelling Compilation." The heavenly branches are four positions ahead of the earthly branches. The午 hour belongs to the day, and on a Wu day, the nobleman is in the丑 position. The nobleman is on the heaven plate at丑 and on the earth plate at酉, which belongs to the yin direction. The heavenly generals are arranged in reverse order: the nobleman is on丑 and on酉, the teng snake is on子 and on申, the vermilion bird is on亥 and on未, the liu he is on戌 and on午, the gou chen is on酉 and on巳, the qing long is on申 and on辰, the tian kong is on未 and on卯, the bai hu is on午 and on寅, the tai chang is on巳 and on丑, the tai yin is on卯 and on亥, and the tian hou is on寅 and on戌. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the戊 is in the巳 palace, with酉 on the巳, which is the first lesson; the酉 has丑 on it, which is the second lesson; the day branch戌 has寅 on it, which is the third lesson; the寅 has午 on it, which is the fourth lesson. The upper gods are successively occupied by the gou chen, the nobleman, the tian hou, and the bai hu. The three transmissions are寅, 午, and 戌, forming a fire trinity: the initial transmission is寅 wood, occupied by the tian hou, with the hidden stem ren, which conquers the wu earth as the "official ghost"; the middle transmission is午 fire, occupied by the bai hu, with the hidden stem jia, which generates the wu earth as the "parents"; the final transmission is戌 earth, occupied by the liu he, with the hidden stem wu, which is the same as the day stem, thus forming the "brother."
The divination says: When predicting the submission of documents, one should look at the documents, with the Vermilion Bird as the main focus. Now, the Middle Transmission is at Wu, which represents documents. In the current ten-day period, the hidden Jia wood is taken as the official star, and the Heavenly General riding upon it is the White Tiger. Wu and the White Tiger are both deities governing roads. Yin belongs to the trigram Gen, symbolizing a high mountain; today, the Yin on the Heaven Plate is located in the Northwest, indicating that a high-ranking official has arrived there. The Heavenly Empress riding upon Yin is precisely the image of Guanyin Bodhisattva. The Final Transmission is at Xu, which is Heavenly Joy, and it also forms aLiu He with Mao. Moreover, the large and small official stars of Yin and Mao are both gathered at the Heaven Gate direction. Therefore, on the fifteenth day of this month, Guimao, the guest official will certainly come out to offer incense to the Bodhisattva and visit the Haihui Temple. You should meet him on the way and make a request, and he will certainly accept your petition. On the fifteenth day, everything happened exactly as predicted.
Another friend skilled in the Six壬 system said: On the fifteenth day of the month, which is Guimao, the event can be captured, taking the final transmission戌 as the sign of the time. This is because the earth plate戌 has the卯 in the position before it, so on the day of卯, the event is captured. He also said: The reason the time is fixed on the day of卯 is because the卯 is placed on the亥, and the official star is exactly in the state of growth.
On Wuxu day, the eastern direction is used to divinate the father's illness (Pastoral Divination Verification)

In the year of Dingmao, month of Wu, and day of Wuxu, a divination was cast using the general of Shen added to the hour of Mao, for the purpose of divining the illness of a father. The father's birth year is Yichou, and he is sixty-three years old. This example is taken from Wang Mufu's divination records. The branches on the Heaven Plate are five positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. The hour of Mao belongs to the day time, and on a Wu day, the nobleman is located at Chou in the day time. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at Chou and on the Earth Plate at Shen. Shen belongs to the yin side. The heavenly generals are arranged in reverse order: the nobleman is on Chou and on Shen, the Teng Snake is on Zi and on Wei, the Vermilion Bird is on Hai and on Wu, the Liu He is on Xu and on Si, the Gou Chen is on You and on Chen, the Azure Dragon is on Shen and on Mao, the Tian Kong is on Wei and on Yin, the Bai Hu is on Wu and on Chou, the Tai Chang is on Si and on Zi, the Xuan Wu is on Chen and on Hai, the Tai Yin is on Mao and on Xu, and the Heavenly Empress is on Yin and on You. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: Wu is in the lodging palace of Si, with Wu on Si, which is the first lesson; Wu on Si has Mao, which is the second lesson; the day branch Wu has Mao, which is the third lesson; and Mao has Shen, which is the fourth lesson. The upper gods are successively riding the Liu He, Tai Yin, Tai Yin, and Azure Dragon. The four lessons only form three lessons, which is called an "incomplete" lesson. The three transmissions are Shen, Chou, and Wu: the first transmission is Shen metal riding the Azure Dragon, with the hidden stem of Bing, which is born by Wu earth, thus being "son"; the middle transmission is Chou earth riding the nobleman, with the hidden stem of Xin, which is of the same type as Wu, thus being "brother"; the final transmission is Wu fire riding the Bai Hu, with the hidden stem of Jia, which generates Wu earth, thus being "father," and Wu is also the yang blade of the Wu day.
Wang Mufu said: This lesson indicates a very凶 disease, with the heart being injured, the body weak, and swelling in the hands and feet, and it is not possible to survive until October. In terms of the lesson pattern, the day branch is added to the position of the day stem's lodging palace, and the four lessons are not fully formed into a 'not complete' lesson. Xu governs the feet, so the illness is in the feet. 'Not complete' indicates a deficiency of qi and blood, hence the swelling. The native's午 is the yang blade of the戊 day, and it is also occupied by the White Tiger, which is the main killing god of the illness. 午 governs the heart, and a blade is placed on the heart, hence the injury to the heart. The reason for not surviving until October is that the native's yin spirit sees the亥 water, which is the绝 god.
From the perspective of the Three Transmissions: the first transmission primarily indicates illness. Shen belongs to metal and can control wood; now Mao wood is insufficient, indicating liver deficiency. The liver stores blood, and if liver qi is blocked, it cannot retain blood, leading to erratic blood flow, hence causing swelling. The middle transmission, Chou, is both the place where the native's destiny is buried and the land of growth, indicating that the illness is caused by the person's own carelessness. The final transmission, Wu, returns to the native's heavenly stem position, riding the White Tiger and being harmed by the native's own destiny, indicating a troubled mind and self-inflicted illness. The hidden god of Wu ultimately returns to Hai, which is the month builder of the tenth month, and the point of absolute depletion is exactly here, hence the tenth month is feared. Currently, there is no harm because Shen is the growth of Wu earth and falls in the first transmission.
Now looking at the overall image of the entire lesson: Chou is the destiny stem, which should not be in the position of death at Shen metal, leading to Shen metal overcoming Mao wood. Mao wood then goes on to overcome Xu earth. Fearing that Mao wood will overcome Xu earth, this energy is transferred to Wu fire. The entire process originates from the destiny stem and is forced back onto itself, creating a continuous and unending flow. The fault lies in self-inflicted consequences. The place of growth, which is originally the homeland of the parents, is suppressed by Chou, indicating that one is "burdened by the tomb," which is caused by this situation.
Now considering the year of travel and the natal destiny: the natal destiny is riding on a prosperous and strong午 (Wu). If the hidden spirit does not appear, the亥 (Hai) water, even though riding on the Teng Snake, would not be a problem. But偏偏 (precisely) the亥 (Hai) is riding on the Vermilion Bird, and all instances show a state of absolute decline. How can it withstand such a situation? The year of travel is on辰 (Chen), and the position of Gou Chen is exactly the place of decline for the戊 (Wu) day; Chen is also the tomb of the戊 (Wu) day, and it also meets the position of Kongwang. The person is already sixty-three years old. The days are nearing old age, and encountering decline, with the day branch returning to the tomb, how can it last long? Moreover, the亥 (Hai) is also riding on the辰 (Chen), and the month builder of the tenth month is exactly beneath it. The lifespan ends here. Later, it indeed came true in the tenth month.
On Wuxu day, the imperial decree was consulted regarding the lunar affairs not proceeding (a direct and piercing insight).

In the seventh year of the Chunyu era, on the twelfth day of the seventh lunar month, the day being theWuxu (Wuxu) day, the imperial decree was issued to cast a divination lesson. The subject is a woman born in the year of Bingzi (Bingzi) whose menstruation has not occurred for nearly three months; the question is whether this is due to illness or pregnancy. The divination must be clear and precise, and the time is the子时 (Zi hour). This case is taken from the book "One Needle Sees the Blood." After the beginning of the处暑 (Chushu) in the seventh lunar month, the巳将 (Si General) is used, with the巳将 (Si General) placed on the子时 (Zi hour). The Heaven Plate branches are five positions ahead of the Earth Plate branches. The Zi hour belongs to the night, and on the戊 (Wu) day, the nobleman (贵人) is located at the未 (Wei) position. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at the未 (Wei) position but on the Earth Plate at the寅 (Yin) position. The寅 (Yin) belongs to the Yang direction. The Heavenly Generals are arranged in order: the nobleman is on the Heaven Plate at the未 (Wei) position and on the Earth Plate at the寅 (Yin) position; the Teng Snake is on the Heaven Plate at the申 (Shen) position and on the Earth Plate at the卯 (Mao) position; the Vermilion Bird is on the Heaven Plate at the酉 (You) position and on the Earth Plate at the辰 (Chen) position; the Liu He is on the Heaven Plate at the戌 (Xu) position and on the Earth Plate at the巳 (Si) position; the Gou Chen is on the Heaven Plate at the亥 (Hai) position and on the Earth Plate at the午 (Wu) position; the Azure Dragon is on the Heaven Plate at the子 (Zi) position and on the Earth Plate at the未 (Wei) position; the Tian Kong is on the Heaven Plate at the丑 (Chou) position and on the Earth Plate at the申 (Shen) position; the White Tiger is on the Heaven Plate at the寅 (Yin) position and on the Earth Plate at the酉 (You) position; the Tai Chang is on the Heaven Plate at the卯 (Mao) position and on the Earth Plate at the戌 (Xu) position; the Black Tortoise is on the Heaven Plate at the辰 (Chen) position and on the Earth Plate at the亥 (Hai) position; the Tai Yin is on the Heaven Plate at the巳 (Si) position and on the Earth Plate at the子 (Zi) position; the Heavenly Empress is on the Heaven Plate at the午 (Wu) position and on the Earth Plate at the丑 (Chou) position. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the戊 (Wu) is located in the巳 (Si) position, and the巳 (Si) position has the戌 (Xu), which is the first lesson; the戌 (Xu) position has the卯 (Mao), which is the second lesson; theDay Branch (day branch) is on the戌 (Xu) position and has the卯 (Mao), which is the third lesson; the卯 (Mao) position has the申 (Shen), which is the fourth lesson. The upper spirits are successively occupied by the Liu He, Tai Chang, Tai Chang, and Teng Snake. The three transmissions are 申 (Shen), 丑 (Chou), and 午 (Wu): the first transmission is 申 (Shen) metal, occupied by the Teng Snake, with the hidden character 丙 (Bing), which is the "son" (子孙); the middle transmission is 丑 (Chou) earth, occupied by the Tian Kong, with the hidden character 辛 (Xin), which is the "brother" (兄弟); the final transmission is 午 (Wu) fire, occupied by the Heavenly Empress, with the hidden character 甲 (Jia), which is the "parent" (父母).
Zhu Bi submitted a report stating: I carefully examined this divination. This autumn belongs to the metal element, and the metal's fetal position is in the卯 (Mao) branch. However, the initiating transmission (发用) is on the申 (Shen) branch above the卯 (Mao), which resembles the image of carrying a fetus. This indicates a lesson indicating pregnancy. There is no ghost or killing in the lesson, and the year of birth is marked by the Azure Dragon, which is a joyful omen. The final transmission (末传) is the午 (Wu) branch with the Heavenly Empress, which represents the vital energy of the seventh month. This fetus can be nurtured, although it belongs to the yin number (female fetus). However, the申 (Shen), 午 (Wu), and 子 (Zi) in the three transmissions (三传) are all yang spirits, so it can be transformed into a yang fetus. Daoist practices have such methods, and they should not be regarded as mere superstition. The delivery is expected to occur in the first or second lunar months.
On the Jihai day
On Jihai day, Chen Shangshe divined about his future prospects (Song edition divination case · Oral Insights).

In the year Jiyou of the Jianyan era, on the Jihai day of the first lunar month, using the Zi general added to the Wei hour to cast the divination, the person being consulted is Chen Sheshuo, born in the Wuchen year (fourth lunar month, sixteenth day, in the Si hour), aged forty-two, seeking divination about his future prospects. This example is taken from the "Song Ben Zhan An" and "Kou Jian." The branches on the Heaven Plate are five positions ahead of those on the Earth Plate. The Wei hour belongs to the daytime, and on the Ji day, the nobleman (guiping) is in the Zi position. The nobleman is on the Heaven Plate in Zi and on the Earth Plate in Wei. Wei belongs to the yin side, and the heavenly generals are arranged in reverse order: the nobleman is on Zi and on Wei, the Teng Snake is on Hai and on Wu, the Vermilion Bird is on Xu and on Si, the Liu He is on You and on Chen, the Gou Chen is on Shen and on Mao, the Azure Dragon is on Wei and on Yin, the Tian Kong is on Wu and on Chou, the Bai Hu is on Si and on Zi, the Tai Chang is on Chen and on Hai, the Xuan Wu is on Mao and on Xu, the Tai Yin is on Yin and on You, and the Tian Hou is on Chou and on Shen. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the Jihai day's branch is in Hai, and the Jihai day's branch is lodged in Wei, so the first lesson is on Wei; the Zi position has Si, so the second lesson is on Zi; the day's branch is Hai, and the Hai position has Chen, so the third lesson is on Hai; the Chen position has You, so the fourth lesson is on Chen. The upper spirits are successively accompanied by the nobleman, Bai Hu, Tai Chang, and Liu He. The three transmissions are Si, Xu, and Mao, forming the "Zhu Yin" pattern: the first transmission is Si fire accompanied by Bai Hu, falling into the empty position (the Jihai day belongs to the Jiwu decade, and the empty position is in Chen and Si), generating the Ji earth as "parents"; the middle transmission is Xu earth accompanied by Zhu Que, with the hidden character Wu, which is the same as Ji, forming "brothers"; the final transmission is Mao wood accompanied by Xuan Wu, with the hidden character Ji, which overcomes Ji earth as "official ghost."
Shao Yanhe said: The first and final transmissions enclose the day stem in the middle, which is also called "yin cong." The "yin" side cannot be lifted, and the "cong" side cannot move, so his future prospects can only reach this point. The combinations of巳, 戌, and 卯 form the "zhu yin" pattern, which belongs to a nobleman's chart; and since there is a nobleman present on the day stem, it is considered auspicious. He would not be free from the obstruction of the tomb spirit until the Renzi year, and eventually he would pass the examination, but immediately after that he would have to mourn twice consecutively. After completing the mourning period he would obtain an official position, but would not be able to hold it to the end. His family had a mountain tomb in the Kan direction, which had been completely eaten by termites, so his prospects were blocked. Chen Shangye did not pass the examination in his youth, but in the Renzi year he passed the local examination and was promoted, then he mourned for his mother. In the Yimao year he mourned for his father. In the Dingsi year he was appointed as the county magistrate of Pujia County, and in the Gengshen year in September he died. Later, when they opened the tomb in the Kan direction, they indeed found it completely eaten by termites.
The term 'yin cong' refers to a situation where the earthy stem Ji Tu is in the position of 'jue' at Si, 'mu ku' at Chen, and 'si di' at Mao. The day stem's Zi water is also in 'mu' at Chen, 'jue' at Si, and 'si di' at Mao. Now, the three positions of 'si di', 'mu ku', and 'jue' are all brought out. The White Tiger and Black Tortoise are in between the stem and branch's 'mu ku', and the 'mu' is added to the dwelling爻. Therefore, it indicates matters related to mourning attire. Death occurs in the year Geng Shen because the year stem also arrives at the Si palace, which is the 'jue' position. Si and Shen are in a harmonious relationship, thus activating the 'mu' and 'jue', leading to death.
On Jihai day, Cao Ba divined about opening a shop (Case of Oral Divination·Oral Insight).

In the year of Jiyou, in the tenth lunar month, on the day of Jihai, the divination was started with the hour of Yin as the general. The month general for the tenth lunar month is Yin, and the "current hour" refers to the present time. From the lesson plate, Yin is placed on the earth plate's You, indicating the time of the divination is You hour. Cao Ba, a scholar born in the year of Wuchen, aged forty-two, consulted about opening a shop. This example is taken from "Fang Ben Zhan An" and "Kou Jian." The heavenly branches are five positions ahead of the earthly branches. You hour is night time, and the nobleman of the day is in Shen. The nobleman is on the heavenly plate's Shen and placed on the earthly plate's Mao, which belongs to the yang direction. The heavenly general is arranged in order: the nobleman on Shen placed on Mao, the Teng Snake on You placed on Chen, the Vermilion Bird on Xu placed on Si, the Liu He on Hai placed on Wu, the Gou Chen on Zi placed on Wei, the Azure Dragon on Chou placed on Shen, the Tian Kong on Yin placed on You, the Bai Hu on Mao placed on Xu, the Tai Chang on Chen placed on Hai, the Xuan Wu on Si placed on Zi, the Tai Yin on Wu placed on Chou, and the Heavenly Empress on Wei placed on Yin. The four lessons are arranged from right to left: the earth element Jihai is lodged in Wei, and Wei has Zi, which is the first lesson; Zi has Si, which is the second lesson; the day branch Hai has Chen, which is the third lesson; and Chen has You, which is the fourth lesson. The upper gods are successively on Gou Chen, Xuan Wu, Tai Chang, and Teng Snake. The three transmissions are Si, Xu, and Mao: the first transmission is Si fire on Xuan Wu, which is in the empty position (the day of Jihai belongs to the Jiawu decade, and the empty position is on Chen and Si), and it generates the earth element Ji as "parents"; the middle transmission is Xu earth on the Vermilion Bird, with the hidden heavenly stem Wu, which is the same as Ji, making it "brothers"; the final transmission is Mao wood on the Bai Hu, with the hidden heavenly stem Gui, which overcomes Ji as "official ghost."
Shao Yanhe said: The day stem's heavenly stem is seen as "nobleman wealth" - Ji earth lodges in Wei, and Wei is where Zi water is located, Zi water is the wife wealth that Ji earth controls, and Zi is also the native house of the nobleman for Ji day; the day branch is the house, and the house is on Chen, which is the burial place of water, that is, the wealth storage; the wealth god Zi water on the day stem, the storage is exactly on the house Chen, meaning the wealth returns to the wealth storage, which is a very favorable sign. The first transmission is Si, which is the parents, parents represent the house, so it also represents the shop, but the renovation will cost a lot - Si is covered by the White Tiger, the White Tiger represents loss, the cost will be double the usual. The middle transmission is Xu, which is the burial place of Si fire, that is, the warehouse of the shop, all layers are full of wealth; however, the final transmission is Mao wood covered by the White Tiger, which overcomes Xu and breaks the warehouse, indicating the shop is taken away by others, and a lawsuit is needed. Cao Ba asked: If not renting, but buying, what would happen? The answer was: Even if buying, a lawsuit will occur, with a period of nine years. Cao Ba said: Then I will ask again after nine years. So he rented the house from Wang Qi Niang, spent a lot of money on renovation, and after three years of opening the shop, he became very wealthy, accumulating millions; in the sixth year, Wang Qi Niang sold the shop to him; in the seventh year, Wang Qi Cai, the scholar, wanted to redeem the shop due to division of property, but Cao Ba refused, and Wang Qi Niang filed a lawsuit against him, leading to a dispute. The outcome was exactly as Shao Master had predicted.
In general, divination for opening a shop rarely yields such a favorable reading. The day stem's heavenly stem indicates wealth, and this position (Earth Plate Wei) is precisely where the person's age of forty-two falls, so the wealth energy is certainly strong. Moreover, the middle transmission Wu follows the initial transmission Si fire and returns to its repository. If the final transmission had not been the卯 wood official ghost breaking the repository, the wealth would have lasted long; now that it has been broken, the wealth comes to an end. The number of Si is four and the number of Wu is five, together making nine years.
