The earthly branch of Chou governs the Dipper mansion and the Ox mansion, which belong to the territories of Wu and Yue. These two mansions are located in the Chou position, starting from the third degree of the Dipper mansion to the first degree of the Girl mansion, corresponding to the land of Wu and Yue on earth, which is the ancient Yu state of Yangzhou. The territory associated with this region first includes the area of Nanjing Province. The capital city of Yingzhou (i.e., Nanjing) and its eight counties: Shangyuan, Jiangning, Jiu-rong, Liyang, Lishui, Jiangpu, Liuhe, and Gaochun, are all included. Next is Fengyang Prefecture and its three counties: Fengyang, Linhuai, and Dingyuan, along with Shouzhou. Twenty-two miles southwest of the prefectural city, there is a special military post called the Imperial Mausoleum Guard, responsible for protecting the tombs of the ancestors of the Ming Taizu. Thirdly, Luzhou Prefecture and its three counties: Hefei, Lujiang, and Shucheng, the state of Wuzhong and its county Chao, the state of Liuan and its two counties: Yingshan and Huoshan, as well as Hanshan Prefecture and its three counties: Shanyang, Yancheng, and Andong.

Additionally, there is Changzhou Prefecture with its subordinate counties of Wujin, Wuxi, Jiangyin, Yixing, and Jingjiang, and Zhenjiang Prefecture with its subordinate counties of Dantu, Danyang, and Jintan. These prefectures and counties are precisely the heartland of the ancient Wu State, all falling under the regions of Dou and Niu.

The three prefectures of Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Huzhou are located south of Taihu Lake, which is the northern border of the ancient Yue state, and together with Su and Song, they are the main sources of wealth and resources.

Ningbo Prefecture and its five subordinate counties, Yinxian, Cixi, Fenghua, Dinghai, and Xiangshan, are the core of the coastal defense in eastern Zhejiang. The rear thousand-house garrison of Dinghai Garrison is ninety li southeast of Dinghai County; the middle-middle thousand-house garrison is located in the old city of Changguo County northeast of Dinghai County; the middle-left thousand-house garrison is three hundred and seventy li south of the prefectural capital; the Dashong Garrison is two hundred and sixty li south of the prefectural capital; the Miaoqu Garrison is one hundred and thirty li southeast of Dinghai County; Changguo Garrison is three hundred and fifty li south of the prefectural capital; the Shihui Garrison's front thousand-house garrison is three hundred and seventy li south of the prefectural capital; the Qiancang Garrison is two hundred and sixty li south of the prefectural capital; the Shihui Garrison's rear thousand-house garrison is one hundred and ten li south of the prefectural capital; the Juexi Garrison is two hundred and seventy li south of the prefectural capital; Guanhai Garrison is located sixty li northwest of Cixi County; and the Longshan Garrison is seventy li north of the prefectural capital. These more than ten garrisons together with Ningbo Prefecture's subordinate counties are all under the jurisdiction of the constellation regions Dou and Niu. The fact that two garrisons are established at Shihui indicates the importance placed by the Ming Dynasty on the Xiangshan coastal port.

The three prefectures in the inland western part of Zhejiang Province also belong to the regions corresponding to the constellations Dou and Niu. The coastline is winding and there are many military garrisons: Jinxiang Garrison is located seventy miles west of Pingyang County, Pumen Guard and Defense Thousand House is located fifty miles south of Pingyang County, Zhuangshi Guard and Defense Thousand House is located fifty-three miles east of Pingyang County, Shayuan Guard and Defense Thousand House is located sixty miles southeast of Lianan County, Panshi Garrison is located sixty miles west of Leqing County, Puli Guard and Defense Thousand House is located in Ruiying Township south of Leqing County, and Ningcun Guard and Defense Thousand House is located in the third district of Yongjia County. In addition, there is the prefecture of Chuzhou and its ten subordinate counties: Lishui, Qingtian, Jinyun, Songyang, Suichang, Longquan, Qingyuan, Yunhe, Xuansheng, and Jingning. The prefectures of Wenzhou and Chuzhou are the southernmost two prefectures in Zhejiang province, already bordering Fujian province. However, according to star divination, they have not yet entered the star region of Wu-Yue, and are included in the regions of Dou and Niu.

The Xinghua Prefecture and its subordinate counties of Putian and Xianyou have the Pinghai Garrison set ninety li to the east of the prefectural city; the Shaowu Prefecture and its subordinate counties of Shaowu, Guangzhe, Taining, and Jianning; the Zhangzhou Prefecture and its subordinate counties of Longxi, Zhangpu, Longyan, Nanjing, Changtai, Zhangping, Pinghe, Zhaoan, Haideng, and Ningyang, with the Zhenhai Garrison located on the eastern coastal area of Zhangpu County; there is also the Funing Prefecture and its subordinate counties of Fu'an and Ningde. The above three prefectures and one prefecture, together with the previously mentioned five prefectures, constitute the entire Fujian region, all belonging to the celestial regions of Dou and Niu. The original character "濵" refers to the modern character "滨", meaning the coast.

The eastern half of the Guangdong province falls under the celestial regions of Dou and Niu. The prefecture of Guangzhou and its twelve subordinate counties—Nanhai, Panyu, Shunde, Dongguan, Conghua, Longmen, Xinning, Zengcheng, Xiangshan, Xinji, Sanshui, and Qingyuan—are all included in this area. The coastal defense arrangements for the prefecture are as follows: Nanhai Garrison is located south of the county seat of Dongguan, the Dongguan Garrison and Defense Commandery is also located south of the county seat, the Dapeng Garrison and Defense Commandery is situated 400 miles southeast of the county seat along the seaside, the Guanghai Garrison is located 150 miles south of the county seat of Xinji along the seaside, and the Xiangshan Garrison and Defense Commandery is located east of the county seat. In addition, the prefecture of Nanxiong and its two subordinate counties—Baochang and Shixing—are located in the southern foot of the Dayu mountain range, serving as the gateway for communication between the northern and southern parts of the mountain range and Jiangxi province.

The city of Huizhou and its ten subordinate counties: Guishan, Boluo, Changning, Yong'an, Haifeng, Heyuan, Longchuan, Changle, Xingning, and Pinghe, all belong to the celestial regions of Dou and Niu. Along the coastal areas of the city, there are four coastal military posts: Jieshi Garrison is located 120 li southeast of Haifeng County along the seaside, Pinghai Guard and Defense Thousand House is located 200 li south of the city, Jiesheng Guard and Defense Thousand House is located 80 li south of Haifeng County along the seaside, and Jiazi Gate Guard and Defense Thousand House is located 110 li east of Haifeng County along the seaside. This coastal area lies east of the mouth of the Pearl River, and was a key area for defending against倭寇 (Japanese pirates) and capturing sea bandits during the Ming dynasty, hence the dense distribution of the thousand house garrisons.

潮州府，海陽縣，潮陽縣，掲陽縣，程鄉縣，饒平縣，恵來縣，大埔縣，澄海縣，普寧縣，平逺縣，大城守禦千戶所在饒平縣宣化都，海門守禦千戶所在潮陽縣隆井都，靖海守禦千戶所在恵來縣恵來都，蓬州守禦千戶所在掲陽縣鮀江都。

Chaozhou Prefecture and its ten subordinate counties: Haiyang, Chaoyang, Jieyang, Chengxiang, RaoPing, HuiLai, DaBu, ChengHai, PuNing, and PingYuan, are also within the realm of the constellations Dou and Niu. Within the prefecture, there are four guard and defense thousand households: Xuanhua Town in RaoPing County, which is the capital, Hongjing Town in ChaoYang County as the Haimen, HuiLai Town in HuiLai County as the Jinghai, and Tujiang Town in JieYang County as the Pengzhou. "Town" refers to the basic administrative division below the township in the Ming Dynasty, used here to indicate the exact location of each garrison. Chaozhou is already the easternmost prefecture in Guangdong, bordering Zhangzhou in Fujian, with shared customs and language, so its realm also belongs to Wu-Yue.

肇慶府，髙要縣，四會縣，新興縣，陽江縣，陽春縣，髙明縣，恩平縣，廣寧縣，德慶州，封川縣，開建縣，海明守禦千戶所在陽江縣東南五十里，雙魚守禦千戶所在陽江縣西一百五十里，羅定州，東安縣，西寧縣，南鄉守禦千戶所在黃姜峒地方。

The prefecture of Zhaoqing and its eight subordinate counties: Gao Yao, Si Hui, Xing Xing, Yangjiang, Yangchun, Gao Ming, Enping, and Guangning, as well as the state of Deqing and its two subordinate counties: Fengchuan and Kaijian, all belong to this region. In terms of maritime defense, the Hai Ming Shouyu Thousand Household Office is located fifty li southeast of Yangjiang County, and the Shuangyu Shouyu Thousand Household Office is located one hundred and fifty li west of Yangjiang County. Additionally, the state of Luoding and its two subordinate counties: Dong'an and Xining, have the Nanxiang Shouyu Thousand Household Office situated in the area of Huangjiang Dong, where 'Dong' refers to a settlement in the mountainous regions of the Lingnan area. The prefecture of Gaozhou and its subordinate counties of Maoming, Dianbai, and Xinyi; the prefecture of Huazhou and its subordinate counties of Wuchuan and Shicheng; the military garrison of Shendian is located 180 li to the southeast of Dianbai County. The prefecture of Leizhou and its subordinate counties of Haikan, Suixi, and Xuwén have four military garrisons: the military garrison of Haikan is located 170 li to the west of Haikan County; the military garrison of Luomin is located 190 li to the northwest of Suixi County; the military garrison of Hai'an is located 20 li to the south of Xuwén County; and the military garrison of Jinang is located 100 li to the east of Xuwén County. The Leizhou Peninsula is surrounded by sea on three sides, and to the south it faces Hainan Island across the Qiongzhou Strait, so its defenses are particularly tight, with the four garrisons almost forming a circle.

The island of Hainan, including the prefecture of Qiongzhou and its seven subordinate counties: Qiongsan, Chengmai, Anping, Wenchang, Huitong, Ledong, and Lingao, as well as the prefecture of Dancheng and its subordinate county of Changhua, the prefecture of Wanzhou and its subordinate county of Lingshui, and the prefecture of Yajia and its subordinate county of Ghen, all belong to the region corresponding to the constellations Dou and Niu. Additionally, two garrisons, Qinglan and Changhua, are established on the island. Qinglan is located thirty li southeast of Wenchang county, and Changhua is located twenty li north of Changhua county. Within the province of Guangxi, only the prefecture of Wuzhou and its five subordinate counties: Cangwu, Teng County, Rong County, Cenxi, and Huaiji belong to this region. The remaining prefectures and counties are associated with the constellations Yi and Zhen, which will be detailed in the section on theSi Palace (Si Palace) later.

The trigram Yin governs the Tail and Winnowing Basket mansions, which belong to the territory of Yan State. These two mansions are located in the Yin position, starting from the third degree of the Tail mansion to the second degree of the Dipper mansion, corresponding to the earthly region of Yan, which is the ancient Yuzhou region. This territory includes the northern half of the former North Zhili Province. It includes Shuntian Prefecture (i.e., Beijing) and its subordinate counties of Daxing, Wanying, Liangxiang, Guxian, Yongqing, Dong'an, Xianghe, as well as Tongzhou and its subordinate counties of Sihexi, Wuqing, Baodi, and Huoguan, Chapingzhou and its subordinate counties of Shunyi, Muyun, and Huairou, Zhuzhou and its subordinate county of Fangshan, Bazhou and its subordinate counties of Wanan, Dacheng, and Baoding, Jizhou and its subordinate counties of Yutian, Fengrun, Zunhua, and Pinggu. Along the Great Wall, there are military towns such as the Miluiguan Guard in the northeast of Muyun County, 120 li away from the ancient Beiguan Pass, the Xingzhou Left屯Guard in the southeast of Yutian County, 140 li away, the Liangcheng Defense Command in the southeast of Baodi County, 140 li away, the Bohai Defense Command in Huanghuazhen within Chapingzhou, and the Baiyangkou Defense Command stationed at Baiyangkou.

Yongping Prefecture and its subordinate counties of Lulong, Qian'an, Funing, and Changli, as well as Luanzhou and its subordinate county of Leting; Shanhai Garrison is located at Shanhai Pass in Funing County, and Dongsheng Zuo Garrison is located north of the city of Yongping Prefecture. Baidong Prefecture and its subordinate counties of Qingyuan, Mancheng, Ansu, Dingxing, Xin Cheng, Tangxian, Boye, Qingdu, Wanxian, Rongcheng, Lixian, and Xiongxian, Anzhou and its subordinate counties of Gaoyang and Xin'an, Yizhou and its subordinate county of Laishui, all belong to the regions of Wei and Ji. Baidong is also a key military stronghold of the capital region, with the Daming Commandery of the Military Commission, which includes Baidong Left Garrison, Baidong Right Garrison, Baidong Central Garrison, Baidong Front Garrison, Baidong Rear Garrison, and Maoshan Garrison. The defense of the Zhijin Pass is stationed at Zhijin Pass. The original text uses "闗" as an alternative character for "关".

河間府，河間縣，獻縣，阜城縣，交河縣，青縣，靜海縣，肅寧縣，興濟縣，寧津縣，任丘縣，景州，吳橋縣，東光縣，故城縣，天津衛在靜海縣小直沽，天津左衛在小直沽，天津右衛在小直沽，瀋陽中屯衛在河間府東南。

The River Region Commandery and its subordinate counties of Hejian, Xian County, Fucheng, Jiaohe, Qing County, Jinghai, Suning, Xingji, Ningjin, and Renqiu, as well as the Jingzhou Commandery and its subordinate counties of Wuqiao, Dongguang, and Gucheng, all belong to the celestial regions of Wei and Ji. Within the commandery, the military garrisons are: the Tianjin Garrison is located in Xiaozhigu Town of Jinghai County, and the Tianjin Left Garrison and Tianjin Right Garrison are also located in Xiaozhigu Town; the three garrisons are in the same place and jointly guard the mouth of the Haihe River where it flows into the sea. The Shenyang Zhongtun Garrison is located to the southeast of Hejian Commandery, where it was established as a garrison for the relocation of troops from the eastern region of Liaodong.

There is also Bao'an State; Meiyu Guard and Defense Thousand House, located sixty miles west of Xuanfu. The Xuanfu area is one of the nine important military strongholds, with the most dense military installations: the Wanjun Commandery oversees Xuanfu Left Garrison, Xuanfu Right Garrison, Xuanfu Front Garrison, and Wquan Left Garrison; Wquan Right Garrison, located eighty miles west of Xuanfu at Deshengkou; Huian Garrison, located one hundred twenty miles west of Xuanfu; Bao'an Right Garrison, administratively attached to Huian Right Garrison; Hualai Garrison, located one hundred fifty miles southeast of Xuanfu; Yanqing Right Garrison, administratively attached to Hualai Garrison; Kaiqing Garrison, located thirty miles northeast of Xuanfu; and Longmen Garrison, located two hundred ten miles northeast of Xuanfu. There are four Guard and Defense Thousand Houses: Xinghe, located one hundred twenty miles east of Xuanfu; Longmen, located two hundred forty miles northeast of Xuanfu; Chang'an, located one hundred forty miles northeast of Xuanfu; and Yunzhou, located two hundred ten miles northeast of Xuanfu. In addition, there is Chang'anling Fortress; Yunzhou and Diao'e Forts, both located two hundred seventy miles northeast of Xuanfu; Macy Fort, located two hundred sixty-eight miles northeast of Xuanfu; Chicao Fortress, located two hundred miles northeast of Xuanfu; and Sihaiye Fortress. All the garrisons, fortresses, and outposts along this section of the Great Wall fall under the celestial regions of Wei and Ji. The original text mistakenly added a comma after the four characters 「云州堡在」, but actually the character 「在」 should extend to Diao'e Fortress, as the two fortresses are in the same location.

The Office of the Commander of the Military and Civil Affairs of the Eastern Liaodong Region was the highest military and administrative body under the Ming Dynasty's jurisdiction over the entire Eastern Liaodong region. All the卫so under its jurisdiction were included within the territories of the constellations of the Tail and the Scythe. The Office directly controlled five卫: the Middle Defining Liaodong Garrison, the Left Defining Liaodong Garrison, the Right Defining Liaodong Garrison, the Front Defining Liaodong Garrison, and the Rear Defining Liaodong Garrison. On the southern line of Liaodong: the East Ning Garrison was located 120 li west of the Office's headquarters; the Hai Zhou Garrison was 120 li south of the Office's headquarters; the Gaizhou Garrison was 240 li south; the Fuzhou Garrison was 420 li south; and the Jinzhou Garrison was 600 li south, with the Middle Left Thousand House Garrison specifically responsible for defending the Lushun coastal mouth. On the western line of Liaodong: the Guangning Garrison was 420 li west of the Office's headquarters; the Left, Right, and Central Guangning Garrisons were all located within the city of Guangning; the Yizhou Garrison was 540 li northwest of the Office's headquarters; the Left Guangning屯 Garrison was located in the old city of Jizhou, with the Left Thousand House Garrison situated 40 li east of the garrison city along the Da Ling River; the Right Guangning屯 Garrison was 540 li west of the Office's headquarters; the Central Guangning屯 Garrison was 600 li northwest of the Office's headquarters, with the Left Thousand House Garrison located 50 li south of the garrison city at Songshan Fort; the Front Guangning屯 Garrison was 960 li west of the Office's headquarters, with the Front Thousand House Garrison located 50 li west of the garrison city along the Ji Shui River, and the Middle and Rear Thousand House Garrisons located 50 li east of the garrison city at Xinglin; the Rear Guangning屯 Garrison was administratively located within the city of Yizhou Garrison. This line, extending northward from beyond the Shanhai Pass along the Liaoxi Corridor, formed the northern gate of the Ming Dynasty's capital in the Northeast direction.

Within this卫, the left thousand households' city is 50 li east of the tower mountain, while the middle and right thousand households' cities are 40 li west of the Xiaoshahen. Shenyang Zhongwei is 120 li north of the capital commandery city, the Fushun thousand households' city is 80 li northeast of the city, and the Puhexian thousand households' city is 40 li north of the city. Tieling卫 is 240 li north of the capital commandery city, with the left and right thousand households' cities located 60 li south of Yilu city, and the middle left thousand households' city 30 li south of Fanhe. Sanwan卫 is 330 li north of the capital commandery city, and it has three thousand households: Zhongzhong, Qianqian, and Houhou. Lianyungang卫 is located within the Kaiyuan city, and it has four thousand households: Youyou, Zhongzhong, Qianqian, and Houhou. In addition, Zizaizhou is located within the capital commandery city, and Anlezhou is located within the Kaiyuan city, both used specifically to settle the submitted tribes. The Nüzhi thousand households, Caohexian thousand households, Nanjing thousand households, Maolin thousand households, and Dongning thousand households are also established for the subjugated people. All the weis, shis, and zhou in the entire Liaodong region are included in the Yan region of the Taili mansion and Jixi mansion.

In the province of Henan, the areas under this division include the prefecture of Guīdé (Return Virtue) and its subordinate counties of Shāngqiū (Shangqiu), Nínglíng (Ningling), Lùyì (Luyi), Xiàyì (Xiaiyi), Yǒngchéng (Yongcheng), and Yúchéng (Yucheng), as well as the prefecture of Suī (Suizhou) and its subordinate counties of Zhèchéng (Zhecheng) and Kǎochéng (Kaocheng). The counties of Qǐxiàn (Qixian), Tàikāng (Taikang), Lányáng (Lanyang), and Yīfēng (Yifeng) originally belonged to the prefecture of Kāifēng (Kaifeng), but according to the division, they are also included in this trigram. In the province of Shandong, the areas under this division include the prefecture of Cáo (Caozhou) and its subordinate counties of Cáoxiàn (Caoxian) and Dìngtáo (Dingtao), as well as the prefecture of Jǐnmíng (Jinmingzhou) and its subordinate counties of Jiāxiáng (Jiaxiang), Jùyě (Juyey), Yùnchéng (Yuncheng), Jīnxīāng (Jinxiang), Yútá (Yutai), and Dānxiàn (Danxian). The area governed by the Si mansion is associated with the Wing and Chariot mansions, which correspond to the territory of the State of Chu. These two mansions are located in the Si position, starting from the fifteenth degree of Zhang mansion to the ninth degree of Chen mansion, corresponding to the land of Chu on earth, which is the Jiangzhou region of the ancient Nine Provinces. Most of the province of Hubei lies within this territory. The prefecture of Wuchang and its six counties: Wuchang, Jiangxia, Jiayu, Xianning, Chongyang, and Tongcheng; the state of Xingguo and its two counties: Dazhi and Tongsan; the prefecture of Hanyang and its two counties: Hanyang and Hanchuan; the prefecture of Huangzhou and its six counties: Huanggang, Luotian, Huang'an, Qishui, Macun, and Huangbi; and the state of Qizhou and its two counties: Guangji and Huangmei, all fall under the territory of the Wing and Chariot mansions. This region is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and was the central area where the State of Chu established its kingdom.

In the northwest of Hubei province, the prefecture of Yunyang and its six subordinate counties: Yunxian, Fangxian, Baokang, Shangjin, Yunxi, and Zhuxi; the prefecture of Xiangyang and its five subordinate counties: Xiangyang, Yicheng, Nanzhang, Zhaoyang, and Gucheng; the prefecture of Chengtian and its three subordinate counties: Zhongxiang, Jingshan, and Qianjiang, with the Xingdu Leftover Commissioner's Office and Xianling Garrison established within the prefecture, specifically responsible for guarding the Xianling, the mausoleum of the emperor's father, the Ming Shizong. There is also the state of Miyan and its subordinate county Jingling, and the state of Jingmen and its subordinate county Dangyang; the prefecture of De'an and its four subordinate counties: Anlu, Yincheng, Yunmeng, and Xiaogang. All these prefectures, states, and counties are under the jurisdiction of the celestial regions of Yi and Zhen. The prefecture of Chengtian was originally the old residence of the Ming Shizong's Xing Wang, hence it had a separate Leftover Commissioner's Office and Garrison outside the usual prefectural administration.

This region is located in the southwest of present-day Guangxi, bordering Vietnam. In the Ming dynasty, it was mostly governed by local chieftains of the Zhuang people, so there were many states with very small territories. When determining the boundaries for divination, all of them were assigned to the constellations Yi and Chen.

The eastern prefectures of Guizhou province belong to the regions of Wei and Zhen. These areas are mostly inhabited by Miao people, so the name of Changgongsi often includes 'dong' or 'zha'. The original text has a reading error here, 'Lantu Changgongsi Qing, Ping county' should be read as 'Lantu Changgongsi, Qingping county', and the last 'zhen' character should belong to 'Zhenyuan prefecture' to form 'Zhenyuan prefecture'.

黎平府，永從縣，潭溪蠻夷長官司，八舟蠻夷長官司，洪州泊裡蠻夷長官司，曹滴洞蠻夷長官司，古州蠻夷長官司，西山陽洞蠻夷長官司，胡耳蠻夷長官司，亮寨蠻夷長官司，歐陽蠻夷長官司，新化蠻夷長官司，中林驗洞蠻夷長官司，赤溪湳洞蠻夷長官司，隆裡蠻夷長官司，五開衛在府東北，黎平守禦千戶所在府西南二十里，中潮守禦千戶所在洪州泊里長官司西南，新化亮寨守禦千戸所在新化長官司東，龍里守禦千戶所在隆里長官司南，新化屯千戸所在新化長官司西南三十里，平茶千戸所，平茶屯千戸所，銅鼓衛在湖耳長官司西。

The military and garrison offices within the prefecture's territory were: Wukai Garrison located to the northeast of the prefectural city, Litian Shouyu Qianhusuo located twenty li to the southwest of the prefectural city, Zhongchao Shouyu Qianhusuo located to the southwest of Hongzhou Bolu Changgongshi, Xinhu Liangzhai Shouyu Qianhusuo located to the east of Xinhu Changgongshi, Longli Shouyu Qianhusuo located to the south of Longli Changgongshi, Xinhu Tun Qianhusuo located thirty li to the southwest of Xinhu Changgongshi, and also Pingcha Qianhusuo and Pingcha Tun Qianhusuo. Tonggu Garrison was located to the west of Huer Changgongshi. Liping is situated at the junction of Guizhou, Hunan, and Guangxi provinces, where Miao and Dong ethnic groups coexist, so the military garrisons and Changgongshi were set up alternately, all belonging to the Yi and Zhen regions. The term "qianhusuo" in the original text uses "hu" as an alternative character for "hu".

In addition, there are Weiqingwei, Annanwei, Bijiwei, Pingba wei, and Kaili Anfusilang. Guizhou became a province the latest, and the wei and suo were interwoven with the local officials, so within one fu there were often both military and civilian jurisdictions. The term "junmin zhuanzhi shisilang" mentioned repeatedly is a type of wei, which controlled both military households and also managed nearby civilian households and local people, differing from the wei in the interior that only managed military affairs. The "Anfusilang" had a lower rank than "Xuanfusilang" but higher than "long官司". All the above fusuweisuo and local officials were included in the division of Yi and Zhen.

午宮，柳星張，周分野，柳星張在午，自柳三度至張十四度，屬周，分三河。河南省：禹州，密縣，新鄭縣俱屬開封府，許州，襄城縣，臨穎縣，郾城縣，長葛縣。河南府，雒陽縣，郾師縣，宜陽縣，鞏縣，新安縣，沔池縣，孟津縣，登封縣，永寧縣，盧氏縣，嵩縣，陝州，靈寶縣，閿鄉縣。

The southern palace of the horse sign governs the willow mansion, the star mansion, and the extended net mansion, which belong to the territory of the Zhou royal house. These three mansions are located in the position of the horse sign, starting from the third degree of the willow mansion to the fourteenth degree of the extended net mansion, corresponding to the land of Zhou, which is the area of the three rivers: the river within the Han, the river east of the Han, and the river south of the Han. In the province of Henan, which falls under this territory, there are Yu Zhou and its subordinate Mi County and Xinzheng County—these two counties originally belonged to Kaifeng Prefecture, but according to the territorial division, they are included in this palace; there is also Xu Zhou and its subordinate Xiangcheng, Linying, Yan Cheng, and Changge Counties. Furthermore, there is Luoyang Prefecture and its subordinate Luoyang, Yan Shi, Yiyang, Gong County, Xin'an, Mianchi, Mengjin, Dengfeng, Yongning, Lushi, and Song County, as well as Sanzhou and its subordinate Lingbao and Wenxiang Counties. Luoyang is the location of the Eastern Zhou royal capital, so this area is considered the core of the Zhou territory.

In the province of Huguang, the areas under this division include Junzhou and Guanghua County, both belonging to Xiangyang Prefecture; Suzhou and Yingshan County, both belonging to De'an Prefecture. In the province of Shaanxi, the areas under this division are only Shangzhou and Luonan County, with Luonan belonging to Xian Prefecture. In the province of Guizhou, the area under this division is Tongren Prefecture, including Tongren County, as well as six local offices: Tongren, Tixi, Wulu, Shengxi, Dawanshan, and Pingtouzhuo. The Zhou dynasty's territory originally lay in the Central Plains, but it extended to the northern part of Huguang and a corner of eastern Guizhou, a result of the continuous tradition followed by star diviners throughout the ages.
