This passage explains that the Azure Dragon is riding on the day stem which coincides with the monthly life qi. Although it may not yet be evident, it will gradually bring good fortune. This is like a gentleman who wishes to show kindness but does not announce it beforehand; the effect comes slowly but ultimately brings good fortune, requiring patience through years of hardship. The life qi moves in order through the months: in the first month it is in Zi, then proceeds month by month. In the third month it is in Yin, in the sixth month in Si, and in the ninth month in Shen. For example, on the six days of Bing (丙), the night general is placed on Yin and added to Si, with Yin riding the Azure Dragon, which is especially effective in the third month. On the six days of Ding (丁), the day stem rides Yin with the night general, which is also effective in the third month, but on the days of Bingwu (丙午) and Dingwei (丁未), Yin falls into Kongwang and is not applicable. For the six days of Wu (戊), the day stem rides Shen with the day general, and Shen rides the Azure Dragon, which is effective in the ninth month, but on the day of Wuyin (戊寅), Shen falls into Kongwang. For the six days of Ji (己), the day stem rides Si with the day general, which is effective in the sixth month, but on the day of Jihai (己亥), Si falls into Kongwang. Other heavenly stems do not have this example.

Misusing the Three Transmissions to predict calamity or fortune, Ninth Trigram.

Nowadays people even make mistakes in determining the three transmissions, so the accuracy of predicting calamity and fortune naturally cannot be guaranteed. To ask how the three transmissions can be incorrectly determined: for example, on a day with the stem Xinyou, the day stem is Xinyou, and the stem亥is placed on the stem戌as the first transmission. But since Xinyou's lodging palace is戌, how can the transmission be placed on戌? Another example is on a day with the stem Yiyou, the stem亥is placed on the stem辰as the first transmission. But since Yi's lodging palace is辰, how can the transmission be placed on辰? Another case is on a day with the stem Yisi, the stem卯is placed on the stem辰as the first transmission. But since the day stem is Yi, how can the transmission be placed on辰? There is also the case of a day with the stem Wuyin, the fourth lesson is Shen added to Si, which originally has mutual control, and it should not be overlooked when selecting the transmissions.

For example, on a Jiachen day, the day stem is supported by Xu. Now people take Xu added to Yin according to the method of 'involving harm' to determine the three transmissions, resulting in the sequence of Xu, Wu, and Yin, which are all gods that drain the energy of Jia wood. Thus, they conclude that any plan will not succeed and that worries will dissipate. But they do not realize that here the method of selection should be used instead of 'involving harm'. Why? Because Jia wood and Zi water are of similar nature and thus harmonious, while Xu earth is not of the same path as Jia wood. Following this method, the three transmissions should be Zi, Shen, and Chen, all of which support the day stem. In this case, any endeavor that was previously obstructed can now succeed, and disasters that were harmful can be resolved. Both good and bad outcomes can be achieved. Those who come later do not understand this principle.

For example, on a Jiaxu day, the day stem is covered by Chen, so the method of taking the elements should be Zi added to Xu, not Chen added to Yin. Similarly, for the reverse transmission lessons on Wuchen and Wuxu days, on Wuchen and Jiaxu days, the day stem is covered by Zi, but on Wuzi day, the day stem is covered by Yin. On Gengchen and Dinghai days, the day stem is covered by Mao. On Renxu and Jiashen days, the day stem is covered by Chen. On Gengzi day, the day stem is covered by Wu. On Yimao day, the day stem is covered by Shen, and there are also cases where the day stem is covered by Yin. On Gengyin day, the day stem is covered by Wu, and on Jiashen day, the day stem is covered by Xu. These lessons each have their own particular methods, and cannot all be treated according to the usual method of starting the three transmissions.

The joy and fear of Kongwang is a subtle opportunity, section Nine in the Fourth.

In divination for military affairs, it is said that a strong enemy should fall into the Kongwang. There are Kongwang that must be seen and those that should not be seen; beginners often fail to distinguish between them, treating them all the same, which is truly regrettable. Kongwang that fall on the Heaven Plate are called "Woying Kongwang," and their fortune and misfortune only correspond to about seven or eight parts. Kongwang that fall on the Earth Plate are called "Luodi Kongwang," and their fortune and misfortune will fully manifest, amounting to ten parts. This point must not be overlooked. As for which deities desire Kongwang to fall on them: those that overcome me, those that steal my qi, theTomb Spirit (mound deity), and deities on the Heaven Plate that remotely overcome the day stem, all desire Kongwang. Only those that generate me, those that rescue me, the Heavenly Virtue, the Life Qi, the wealth deity, the official star, and deities on the day stem that remotely overcome others should not fall into Kongwang; if they do, it becomes an omen of misfortune. Among these, there is also a distinction between those that meet and those that do not meet. Below, they are divided into five categories and listed one by one.

The "Seeing Growth but Not Growth" pattern: For days with Jia or Yi as the day stem, the亥 water is the god that nourishes me. If this亥 water is sitting on申, then申 is the long life of water, and since it is attached to its own long life, it will not come to nourish me. If the亥 water is sitting on辰, 戌, 丑, or 未 earth, it is restrained by the earth, and even if it appears in the day stem, day branch, or year pillar, it cannot nourish me. If亥 falls into Kongwang, it is very凶. Whenever the god that nourishes me falls into Kongwang, it indicates that the parents or elders will have serious illness that cannot be saved, and seeking official positions will be in vain. Here I only give a complete example, and the rest can be inferred similarly. The principle is the same regardless of who is asking.

"See a killer but it does not kill": For example, if the day stem is Jia or Yi and the day branch is Shen or You metal, these metals are considered to be the ghosts that overcome the day stem. If this metal is seated on Si or Wu fire, it is itself being overcome by fire, so it cannot come to overcome the day stem. If Shen or You is seated on Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei earth, the earth can generate metal, and the metal will be content with this support, so it will not come to overcome the day stem. If the ghost is in Kongwang, it will not harm the person. However, if the ghost is in Kongwang but also sits on the day stem, day branch, three transmissions, or the person's own birth year, and there is nothing to restrain it, then it is extremely dangerous: it may cause loss of family members or bring legal troubles and endless expenses. The same principle applies to the other ten stems.

The "Seeing Wealth but Not Having Wealth" pattern refers to situations where the day stem, such as Jia or Yi, considers the earthy branches Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei as wealth. If this wealth is located on the wood branches Yin or Mao, the wood will overcome the earth, making it impossible to obtain the wealth. If the wealth is in the Heaven Plate's Kongwang, although it may be obtained, it will result in loss. If the wealth is in the Earth Plate's Kongwang, it will not be obtained at all, leading to greater loss. If the wealth is located on the branches Shen or You, which are considered to drain the energy, there will be both gain and loss, resulting in expenditure. The rest of the ten stems follow the same pattern. Other examples include Wuchen day with the branch You, Renwu day with the branch Wei, Renyin day with the branch Zi, Gengzi day with the branch You, Bingwu day with the branch Wu, and Jiyou day with the branch Shen.

The "See Rescue but No Rescue Pattern": For example, on days with Jia or Yi as the day stem, if the three transmissions first have Shen or You metal to attack the day stem, then seeing Si or Wu fire on the day stem and day branch indicates the "rescue deity," as fire can overcome metal. However, if this Si or Wu fire is seated on Hai or Zi water and is extinguished by water, or if it itself falls into Kongwang, or is trapped in Kongwang, or is seated on Yin or Mao wood and only focuses on being nourished by wood, then the rescue fails and instead becomes a disaster. Conversely, if the hexagram originally lacks the official ghost of the day stem, then the so-called rescue deity is merely a thief that drains my energy. The other eight stems follow the same pattern.

The "Seeing a Thief but Not Being Robbed Pattern": For example, on days of Jia and Yi, if there is a fire in Si or Wu, but it is located in the water of Hai or Zi, or falls into Kongwang, then it cannot steal my energy, instead turning misfortune into good fortune. The same applies to the other ten heavenly stems. However, nowadays people do not pay attention to these matters: they simply say there is a birth god when they see a birth god, a wealth god when they see a wealth god, a ghost god when they see a ghost god, and a saving god when they see a saving god. They do not distinguish at all regarding the earth plate where each god is located and the direction they are moving in. It is truly regrettable.

The "De Gu He Ju Sheng Shen Ge" is also called the "Gui De Lin Shen Xie Chuan Huo Huan Ge": For example, if the day stem is Yiyou and the day stem is riding on Shen, and the divination is done in the daytime, although the three transmissions form a water cycle to nourish the Yi wood day stem, it is unfortunate that the heavenly general regardless of day or night is the Nobleman, Gou Chen, and Tai Chang, these three earth deities, which earth element controls water, preventing the water cycle from nourishing the Yi wood. If instead the divination is done at night with the Nobleman, then one can rely on the Nobleman being present on the self to find a way to survive.

"The Long Life Falling into Void" pattern refers to examples where the long life is falling into the void. On Wuyin day, the long life is at Shen, but Shen falls into the void; on Gengzi day, the long life is at Si, and Si falls into the void; on Renwu day, the long life is at Shen, and Shen falls into the void; on Jiazi day, the long life is at Hai, and Hai falls into the void; on Bingwu day, the long life is at Yin, and Yin falls into the void—on these days, the void exactly falls on the long life of the day. The monthly life qi is also disliked when it falls into the void. "The Pattern of Joy and Fear" refers to examples where one side is pleasant and the other is alarming. It means the day stem is riding on the long life, while the three transmissions are all official ghosts—receiving support from above and being attacked from below, thus being both joyful and fearful.

Six lines of divination should avoid the element that is overcome. Nine in the Fifth

The wealth hexagram appears in the divination, and one must worry about the parents. A rhyme says: the three transmissions all serve as the wealth of the day; if one receives such a divination, one should worry about the elders suffering misfortune. If the personal year and the day stem and branch also carry the official ghost of the day stem, how can this be considered as a violation? For example, on a Xinwei day, the day stem carries the Wu fire. The three transmissions are Mao, Hai, and Wei, forming a wood trinity. Wood is the wealth of Xin metal. The three transmissions are all wealth hexagrams, which should cause worry about the parents. Fortunately, the day stem already carries the Wu fire. Fire can generate the parents hexagram (earth) and consume the wealth hexagram (wood generates fire and drains wood). This is called "transmitting wealth transforming into official ghost." People only know about the verification of the parents hexagram, but do not understand the layer of "transmitting wealth transforming into official ghost." If one is divining for wealth, this would instead bring misfortune.

Other days, only when both the day stem and day branch do not show the official ghost爻, can it be said that the parents are in disaster. Moreover, it must be that the parents爻 appear first in the stem and branch of the year and fate, and then are attacked by the three transmissions of wealth爻, only then can the disaster of the parents and elders be considered. If the parents爻 are not present at all in the divination, this case does not apply. For example, on a Dingchou day, the day stem first shows the卯 wood as the parents爻, but the three transmissions form a metal circle, and the wealth爻 injures the卯 wood, then it can be judged that the elders are in disaster. When it comes to verification, it may be that seeking wealth actually hinders one's livelihood, or that a fierce wife offends the grandparents, and these two cases are especially accurate. On Jichou day, the day stem is乘午; on Gengchen day, the day stem is乘未; on Dingyou day, the day stem is乘卯; on Wuxu day, the day stem is乘午; all of these should be viewed in the same way. However, one should worry about the elders only when the wealth is strong; if the wealth is in a state of weakness and inability, it should still be treated as wealth. There is also a case on Yihai day, where one intended to use the申 metal in the day branch to generate the parents爻 and simultaneously consume the wealth爻, but the申 fell into Kongwang, resulting in the parents still suffering disaster.

When the parents' yao appears in the divination chart, there is a need to worry about the children. The song says: if the parents' yao is present in the hexagram, the children should be worried about. One must carefully examine the day stem, day branch, and the person's birth year. If a similar yao, such as a companion yao, is located above, the children will instead flourish and are not considered harmful. For example, on a Wuyin day, if the day stem is covered by Chou, and the three transmissions are Xu, Wu, and Yin, forming a fire trinity, the fire generates the Wuyin earth, making the entire chart consist of parents' yao, which would normally indicate worry about the children. Fortunately, the day stem is first covered by Chou earth, which is the same as Wuyin. This Chou earth can generate the children's yao (metal) and consume the parents' fire (fire generates earth and thus reduces the fire), so the children will not be harmed.

If the son or grandson爻 appears in the divination chart, one should worry about official positions. The rhyme says: seeing the son or grandson爻 means there will be no legal disputes, this is a traditional method passed down from ancient times, and it is indeed true; but who would know that other branches of wealth爻 also appear, then official positions will change, legal cases will result in punishment, and illness will be difficult to recover from. For example, on the day of Jisi, the day stem is亥, and the three transmissions are酉, 丑, and 巳, forming a metal trinity. Metal is generated by the earth (己土), thus forming the son or grandson爻, which originally should cause concern about official positions; fortunately, there is already亥 water on the day stem, which can generate the official ghost (wood), and also consume the son or grandson metal (metal generates water and thus reduces metal). The rest follows the previous explanation. However, when divining about legal cases, this situation is actually something to be avoided.

The official ghost hexagram appears in the divination, indicating concern for oneself and one's brothers. The song says: if the official star and ghost thief occupy all three transmissions, it is not advisable to consult about oneself or one's brothers; but if the hexagram of parents is revealed, oneself and siblings will ultimately be safe. For example, on a day with the stem Yi and the branch Chou, the day stem is occupied by Zi. The three transmissions are Si, Chou, and You, forming a metal trinity. Metal overcomes the wood of Yi, and all are official ghost hexagrams, which should indicate concern for oneself and one's brothers. Fortunately, the day stem has Zi water, which nourishes the wood of Yi and its siblings, and also consumes the metal of the official ghost (metal generates water and disperses metal). Other cases can be analyzed in the same way.

When similar elements (like siblings or close companions) appear in the divination chart, there is a need to worry about the wife and financial loss. The song says: if the day stem and day branch have similar elements that fill the three transmissions, wealth will be lost and the wife's position will be in danger; but if the day branch is occupied by the son element, then the wife's position is safe and wealth will be abundant. For example, on a Bingyin day, if the day stem is occupied by Chou, and the three transmissions are Xu, Wu, and Yin, these are all similar elements to the day, so one should worry about the wife and financial loss. Fortunately, the day stem is first occupied by Chou earth, which is the son of Bing fire. This earth can generate the wealth element (metal) and consume the companion element (fire), as fire generates earth and thus reduces fire. Other cases can be analyzed in the same way.

Six爻 mutually generating to form a category refers to the three transmissions going to generate the stem on the day.the so-called 'transmission of wealth transforming into ghost' means, for example, on a Xinwei day, the stem on the day is wu fire, and the three transmissions are卯,亥,未 which are wealth, but they instead generate the wu fire official ghost on the day stem.the so-called 'transmission of ghost transforming into parents' means, for example, on a Yisi day, the stem on the day is zi water, and the three transmissions are酉,巳,丑 which are official ghosts, but they instead generate the zi water parent爻 on the day stem.the so-called 'transmission of parents transforming into brothers' means, for example, on a Wuwu day, the stem on the day is chou earth, and the three transmissions are戌,午,寅 which are parents, but they instead generate the chou earth brother爻 on the day stem.the so-called 'transmission of brothers transforming into children' means, for example, in the昴星 lesson on a Dinghai day, the stem on the day is xu earth, and the three transmissions are午,戌,寅 which are brothers, but they instead generate the xu earth child爻 on the day stem— at this time, the xu is no longer considered as a墓.

The phrase "transmitting offspring to transform the wealth hexagram" refers to a situation where, for example, on a Jiayin day, the day stem is covered by Xu. If the three transmissions are Xu, Wu, and Yin, then Wu fire is considered the offspring of Ji wood, and it goes on to generate the Xu earth on the day stem, thus becoming wealth. In such cases, if the divination is about illness—whether the father, brother, son, wife, or oneself is ill—as long as the respective class god appears in the chart, although it may not be auspicious, if that class god is placed on the day stem and occupies a favorable position, it is not considered harmful. However, if it falls in a dead or绝 position, and there is also a position that克 it beneath, then the outcome is certain to be fatal.

Within the three transmissions, there are instances where a class of spirits appears, and the three transmissions themselves also bury and overcome it. These examples all involve the three transmissions being made up of the hours of Wu, Chou, and Shen. For example, on the five days of Yi Hai, Yi You, Yi Wei, Yi Si, and Yi Mao, the initiating transmission is always Wu added to Hai. If someone with an official position divines, they will not succeed in obtaining their position; if a common person divines, it is actually favorable for removing troubles in urgent situations. This is because the final transmission, Shen metal, which is originally the official ghost of wood (Yi), is first overcome by the initial transmission, Wu fire, and then buried by the middle transmission, Chou earth. Moreover, the final transmission, Shen metal, itself sits on Chou, which is its burial place, so the Shen metal has no strength at all. Similarly, on the days of Bing Chen and Ding Hai, the three transmissions are also Wu, Chou, and Shen. In this case, the Shen metal is the wealth of a fire day, and again has no strength because it is overcome by the initial transmission and buried by the middle transmission. On the day of Ji Hai, the long life is lost; on the day of Geng Chen, the virtue and rank are lost; on the day of Xin Hai, the brother's element is lost; and on the six days of Ren, the long life is lost—these are all examples where the three transmissions consist of Wu, Chou, and Shen.

"The Branch and Stem of the Same Type Pattern": This pattern makes it difficult to gain wealth because the day stem and day branch share the same Five Phases, causing a struggle over the same source of wealth. There are only twelve days that fall into this pattern: Jiayin, Yimao, Gengshen, Xinyou, Bingwu, Dingsi, Renzi, Guihai, Jichou, Jiwei, Wuchen, and Wuxu. "The White Ant Eats the Corpse Pattern": For days with Ren or Gui as the stem, if the metal in the hour is seated on Chou, and the night general is used with the White Tiger riding on the hour, the metal is the parent's yao for the water day. Now, the parent's yao is riding the White Tiger and is seated in the storage (the burial place of metal is Chou), it indicates that there are white ants in the parents' graves or that some misfortune has arisen. If the parents are still alive, it signifies illness. If the hour also coincides with the death qi and death deity, then the illness of the parents is certain to be fatal. Similarly, for the six days with Wu as the stem, if Wu is added to Xu and the day general is used with the White Tiger riding on Wu (the burial place of fire is Xu), and for the six days with Ji as the stem, if Si is seated on Xu and the morning general is used with the White Tiger riding on Si, they are all interpreted in the same way. Other stems should be analyzed according to their respective class spirits.

"The Lazy Seeking Wealth Pattern": When the day stem is Jia and the day is accompanied by Yin or Mao, even if the three transmissions contain the wealth element, when one truly seeks wealth, there will certainly be hesitation and regret, and a reluctance to go out to obtain it—because Yin and Mao are the same kind of wood as Jia wood, and one fears competition. For other days, one should explain according to the corresponding categories based on the gods accompanying the day stem. "The Pattern of Lost Virtue and Broken Wealth": For a return transmission pattern on a yang day, it is a four absolute void pattern on a yin day.

Within the ten-day period, the Kongwang is determined by category and follows accordingly. The ninth and sixth.

Military divination uses analogy to explain: if wealth falls into empty, military supplies will be insufficient; if the enemy falls into empty, the enemy will retreat on their own; if the savior falls into empty, strategies will be poor; if the companion falls into empty, the assistant will be lazy; if life qi falls into empty, one must beware of losing favor. In the Jiazi cycle, the hours Xu and Hai are considered empty. On Jiazi and Yichou days, wealth and parents fall into empty; on Bingyin and Dingmao days, the tomb god, nobleman, and official ghost fall into empty; on Wuchen and Jisi days, brothers and wealth fall into empty; on Gengwu and Xinwei days, parents and children fall into empty; on Renshen and Guiyou days, officials and brothers fall into empty; in addition, the virtue god and fortune god on Ren days also fall into empty. All these, even if Xu and Hai fall into the day stem, day branch, three transmissions, original destiny, and year's movement, they still cannot be used.

In the Jiaxu旬, the hours Shen and You are empty. On Jiaxu and Yihai days, the official ghost is empty; on Bingzi and Dingchou days, the wife's wealth is empty; on Wuyin and Jimao days, the children are empty; on Gengchen day, the virtue god and禄god are empty; on Xinsi day, the brothers and self are empty; on Renwu and Guiwei days, the parents are empty. All these, even if Shen and You fall into the three transmissions, the original destiny, the day stem and day branch, they still cannot be used. In the Jiashen旬, the hours Wu and Wei are empty. On Jiashen and Yiyou days, the children, tomb god and wife's wealth are empty; on Bingxu and Dinghai days, the brothers and children are empty; on Wuzi and Jichou days, the parents and brothers are empty, and on Jichou days, the禄god is also empty; on Gengyin and Xinmao days, the official ghost and parents are empty, and on Xin days, the daytime nobleman is also empty; on Renchen and Guisi days, the wife's wealth and official ghost are empty, and on Jia, Wu and Geng days, the nighttime nobleman is also empty.

In the Jiawu旬, the hours of Chen and Si are empty. On Jiawu and Yiwei days, the wife's wealth and children are empty; on Bingshen and Dingyou days, the children and brothers are empty; on Wuxu and Jihai days, the brothers and parents are empty; on Gengzi and Xinchou days, the parents, official ghosts, and growth are all empty, and the official star and virtue god of Xin day are also empty; on RENYIN and GUIMAO days, the tomb god, official ghosts, and wife's wealth are empty, and the nobleman is not effective during the day, and on BINGXU day, the virtue god and禄神 are also empty. In the Jiachen旬, the hours of Yin and Mao are empty. On Jiachen and Yisi days, the brothers, self, and禄神 are empty, and the virtue god of Ji day is also empty; on Bingwu and Dingwei days, the parents are empty; on Wushen and Jiyou days, the official ghosts are empty, and the virtue god of Ji day is also empty; on Gengxu and Xinhai days, the wife's wealth is empty, and the nobleman during the night of Xin day is also empty; on Renzi and Guichou days, the children are empty, and such a lesson is only suitable for removing disasters.

In the Jiayin旬, the branches Zi and Chou are considered Kongwang. On Jiayin and Yimao days, the parents and wife's wealth fall into Kongwang; on Bingchen and Dingsi days, the official ghost and children fall into Kongwang; on Wuxu and Jiwei days, the wife's wealth and brothers fall into Kongwang; on Gengshen and Xinyou days, the children and parents, or the tomb god, fall into Kongwang; on Renxu and Guihai days, the brothers and official ghost fall into Kongwang. On the days of Jia, Wu, Geng, Yi, and Ji, the nobleman also falls into Kongwang in the morning. The term "Ten Evil Great Defeat Days" refers to days without a禄. On the ten days of Jiachen, Yisi, Renshen, Bingshen, Dinghai, Gengchen, Wuxu, Guihai, Xinsi, and Jichou, the禄 god falls exactly into Kongwang, hence these days are called days without禄.

The divination does not enter the category, but still relies on the class.

For example, if one is divining about a theft, even if the master of the thief, the spirit that drains my energy, and the official ghost of the day are not found among the day stem, day branch, three transmissions, and the person's birth year and destiny, one still uses these types of spirits to determine the direction where the thief is and the color, shape, and name of the lost item. If the matter being divined does not appear in the divination, it is explained through the types of spirits. All other types of divination are handled in the same way.

Do not speak of it unless it is about the present situation. Ninth eighth.

In military divination, the method of analogy is used: on the day of an army's departure, the day stem represents the three armies, and the day branch represents the camp. Various secret methods passed down by predecessors are extremely effective. For example, if the White Tiger is present on the寅 position and also falls on the day branch and initiates the transmission, there will certainly be a shocking situation of the main beam of the house breaking and the rafters collapsing. This method is very accurate. However, if a gentleman comes to consult about matters of seeking wealth and happens to receive this particular divination, one must not mention the issue of beams and rafters breaking, as it is entirely unrelated to his question about wealth. Many people commit such errors, and modern individuals should be warned against this. By citing this method, the rest can be inferred similarly.

When questions are frequently asked, one should not encounter auspicious signs. Ninth nine.

Divination for military purposes says: when a nobleman's fortune is favorable to the nobleman but not to the common people, it is like in times of peace when there are good strategies to defeat the enemy, but there is no opportunity to use them. All auspicious hexagrams such as Dragon Virtue, Casting Seal, High Cover, Carving Wheel, Official Rank, Wealth and Honor, Three Radiance, Three Marvels, and Three Yang, are only auspicious for those who hold official positions. They may result in promotion or change of position, or the opportunity to meet the sovereign and present arguments. If common people obtain these auspicious hexagrams, they may instead suffer misfortune, great difficulties, and calamity. Common people do not serve the powerful, and they have no official position or salary, so how can they be worthy of a hexagram that indicates meeting the sovereign or encountering nobles? This is mostly because of lawsuits that bring their name to the court, or being brought to trial before the county magistrate and being punished. If they are ill, they will certainly encounter the underworld. At this time, if they can travel far away and engage in activities elsewhere, they can avoid illness and lawsuits.

There is no doubt that the calamity is certain and the return is evident. One hundred.

If the divination results indicate ominous signs such as loss of soul, transformation of spirit, heavenly calamity, heavenly bandits, hidden misfortune, heavenly prison, heavenly net spread wide, and the two heavenly troubles, then if illness, lawsuits, or disasters have already occurred, and later one divines these ominous signs again, the disaster may be eliminated and there is no need to worry. However, if one divines these signs before the illness, lawsuit, or disaster occurs, then illness, lawsuits, loss, and calamity will all arrive at once, and there is no doubt about it. Regarding the heavenly罡神 Chen, if it is present in one's destiny or current year, what was originally still will become active, and what was originally active will become still. For example, if one divines a lawsuit and the person is already in prison, it may indicate that they will be released immediately. One must first clarify whether the crime was actually committed before making a judgment. In summary, this type of divination result is favorable when predicting misfortune and unfavorable when predicting good fortune.

The "Conclusion and Resolution Pattern": If six days with the day stem Jia have the亥 (Hai) position, for ordinary inquiries, it will surely indicate illness or litigation; but if a misfortune has already occurred, it is actually suitable to use this lesson to conclude old cases. If the nobleman appears in the daytime, it is especially appropriate to report to the nobleman to resolve the misfortune. The "Using Evil to Control Evil Pattern": On six days with the day stem Gui, if the Chen (Chen) is placed over the Chou (Chou), Chen is both the tomb god and is pressing down to overcome the day stem, which is genuinely a serious misfortune; if the Chen is on the night general and also carries the Teng Snake, it becomes even more dangerous. Fortunately, the final transmission on the Xu (Xu) carries the White Tiger to clash with the Chen, which is called "Breaking the Tomb and Driving Away the Ghost"—using evil to control evil, the evil energy disperses and there is no misfortune. Another example is on four days with the day stem Gui using the daytime general with the Xu (Xu) placed over the Chou (Chou), which also relies on the final transmission Teng Snake to clash with the White Tiger and the Chen to clash with the Xu. It is especially suitable for resolving worries. In addition, on the days Guiyou and Guihai, there is no such lesson.
