Forty-fourth Divination on the Occurrence of a Shooting Star Infringing upon the Central and Outer Officials

流星入攝提，外國以兵為使來者，若有急走，王者以兵出使。觸破大角，兵眾四合有急；又刺大角，主失位。入干天市，色陷白，萬物貴；亦必有火災，人多病。抵帝席，諸侯兵起，臣謀主，若貴人更改大令，期三年。入抵東西咸，妃后出入不得時；徭役自恣；一曰：女主亂宮，王者憂，期一年，遠三年。

A falling star entering the "Shètí" star indicates that a foreign country will send envoys under the pretense of military matters, or there will be urgent affairs requiring swift action. The king will also dispatch envoys due to military affairs. If a falling star collides with and breaks through the "Dàjiǎo" star, it signifies that troops will surround from all sides, and the situation will be critical; if it directly pierces the Dàjiǎo star, the ruler will lose his position. If a falling star enters and approaches the "Tiānshìyuán" constellation, and the star appears dark and pale, it indicates that all things will become expensive, and there will certainly be fires, with many people falling ill. If a falling star approaches the "Dìxí" star, it signifies that the feudal lords will raise armies, ministers will plot against the ruler, or a nobleman will arbitrarily alter major policies, and this will occur within three years. If a falling star enters and approaches the "Dōngxián" and "Xīxián" stars, it indicates that the queen consorts will enter and exit at inappropriate times, and labor conscription and taxation will be excessive and uncontrolled; another interpretation is that a female ruler will cause disorder within the palace, and the king will have worries, and this will occur within one year, or up to three years in the distant future.

入建星，天下謀，色赤者昌。入天江，有大水，河海溢，人民飢。入離珠，兵起宮中，有憂有罪者。入天大將軍，大將軍驚出。出五車，色白，諸侯以車為憂；色黃，受賀；色赤，主兵，車騎滿野；青黑，主死；各以其日辰占之。

A falling star entering the "Jian Star" indicates there will be matters of strategy and deliberation in the world. If the star is red, it signifies prosperity. A falling star entering the "Tian Jiang" star indicates a great flood, with rivers, lakes, and seas overflowing, leading to famine among the people. A falling star entering the "Li Zhu" star indicates a military revolt within the palace, with some people suffering sorrow and others being punished. A falling star entering the "Tian Da General" star indicates that the Grand General will be startled and leave. A falling star emerging from the "Wu Che" star: if it is white, it indicates the feudal lords will have worries related to carriages and horses; if it is yellow, it indicates receiving congratulations from others; if it is red, it indicates military affairs, with cavalry spreading across the plains; if it is dark blue, it indicates death. These should be interpreted according to the day branch on which the falling star appears.

抵天關，天下有急兵，關道有阻，若多盜賊，人民憂，期半年，遠一年。入南河，有喪兵起，防戍有憂。一曰：為旱兵。入北河，胡兵起，來入中國，若關梁阻塞。入五諸侯，諸侯有大喪。以星所入日，占其國，出諸侯，諸侯有反者。其星中散絕，諸侯坐其咎殃。

A falling star approaching the "Tian Guan" star indicates urgent military affairs throughout the country, with blockages at passes and roads, or an increase in bandits, causing people to be anxious. This should be expected within half a year, or up to a year if it is further away. A falling star entering the "Nan He" star portends mourning, the outbreak of military conflicts, and worries at border defense posts; another interpretation suggests drought and military calamities. A falling star entering the "Bei He" star indicates the rise of northern troops invading the Central Plains, or blockages at checkpoints and bridges. A falling star entering the "Wu Zhuhou" star signifies a great mourning among the feudal lords; according to the day branch on which the falling star appears, one can determine which state will be affected. If a falling star originates from the "Wu Zhuhou" star, it indicates that there is a plot of rebellion among the feudal lords. If the falling star dissipates or breaks off halfway, it indicates that the feudal lords will suffer from this calamity.

入抵積水，有大水，舟船用，人大飢。抵積薪，為憂，若廚官有罪者。入水位，天下有水，河溢流，天下五穀不生，人流大飢，期三年。流星散出軒轅間，女子多讒亂。流星大如甕，出大陵西，下必有積尸。

A falling star entering and approaching the "Accumulated Water" star indicates a great flood, with many boats being used, and people suffering from severe famine. A falling star approaching the "Accumulated Firewood" star indicates worry, or the cook who prepares food for the court may be punished. A falling star entering the "Water Position" star indicates flooding throughout the country, rivers overflowing, crops failing, people fleeing, and a great famine, which will occur within three years. A falling star scattering from among the stars of "Xuanyan" indicates many women spreading false words and causing disturbances within the palace. A falling star as large as a jar emerging from west of the "Daling" star indicates that there must be a pile of bones beneath it.

入抵少微，賢良集道，衛士用。一曰：能人多來者，不出其年。入太微，有兵起，外國以急有使採。不出其年。流星入太微東西門，大兵起，大臣為亂，貴人多死，若有謀，近期一年，中二年，遠三年。出太微端門，天子之使出，各以其野，命其國，期不出二年。

A falling star entering and approaching the star 「Shaowei」 indicates that virtuous and capable men gather on the right path, and guards of the palace are appointed; another interpretation is that capable people come forward in numbers, and the prediction will be fulfilled within the same year. A falling star entering the 「Taimei Yuan」 indicates that military actions will arise, and foreign countries will send envoys urgently, and the prediction will be fulfilled within the same year. A falling star entering the eastern or western gates of the 「Taimei Yuan」 indicates great military actions, ministers causing disorder, many noblemen dying, or there being plots; the fulfillment will occur within one year, two years, or three years, depending on the proximity. A falling star exiting from the 「Duanmen」 of the 「Taimei Yuan」 indicates that the emperor's envoys will go out, and the country corresponding to the direction indicated by the falling star will be determined, with the fulfillment occurring within two years.

入太微，犯黃帝座，大人易，東西犯者皆死士。抵帝座，天下亂，臣戮主，國移政，期不出三年。流星犯四帝座，輔臣有誅，執政者憂，貴人多死，期三年。抵屏星，尚書有憂。若有死者，期半年，遠一年。流星犯入太微，使還。

A falling star entering the Taimei Enclosure and invading the "Yellow Emperor's Seat" indicates a change in the ruler's position; if it invades from the east or west sides, it signifies that brave warriors will die in service. A falling star approaching the "Emperor's Seat" indicates great chaos throughout the country, ministers killing the ruler, and a change in the government, with the event occurring within three years. A falling star invading the "Four Emperors' Seats" in the Taimei Enclosure indicates that ministers assisting in governance may be executed, the ruling officials will face worries, and many noblemen will die, with the event occurring within three years. A falling star approaching the "Screen Star" indicates worries for officials in the position of the Chancellor; if there are deaths, the event will occur within half a year, or up to one year if it is later. A falling star invading and entering the Taimei Enclosure indicates that envoys sent out will return.

A falling star invading the 'Inner Screen' star indicates the monarch will face great worries. Invading the 'Minister's Position' star indicates that the corresponding minister will have troubles. Invading the 'Five Inner Ministers' star indicates the prime minister will be disgraced. Invading the 'Three High Officials' star indicates the chancellor will have worries. Invading the 'Minister's Position' star indicates the official in that position will be demoted. Invading the 'Nine Ministers' star indicates the monarch will face great worries; another interpretation is that the monarch will be ill.

流星犯沖左右攝提者，公卿不安改動者。犯沖大角，大使出，王道正，帝道昌，人樂。犯梗河，王者不安。犯天市垣，王者憂。犯沖貫索，人飢疾病，王者大憂。

A comet striking directly towards the 'Shetí' star indicates that the principal ministers will be uneasy and there will be changes in their positions. If it strikes directly towards the 'Dajiao' star, it signifies that the great officials will go out on missions, the royal way will be rectified, the imperial achievements will flourish, and the people will be content. If it strikes the 'Genghe' star, the king will be unsettled. If it strikes the 'Tianshi Yuan' (Celestial Market Enclosure), the king will have worries. If it strikes directly towards the 'Guansuo' star, it indicates famine and disease among the people, and the king will face great troubles.

犯沖螣蛇，水蟲受戮，口舌大起。一雲魚鹽大貴，一雲龍見。犯沖東西咸，大水，百川決溢。犯河鼓，天下雷，非時鳴，水蟲死。犯沖天棓，兵革興，盜賊大起。犯建星，王道平寧。犯沖閣道，帝王欲使出。

A falling star invading and directly confronting the 「Téng Shé」 star indicates that aquatic creatures will be killed, and disputes over words will increase; some say that fish and salt will be valuable, while others say that a dragon will appear. Invading and directly confronting the 「Dōng Xián」 and 「Xī Xián」 stars indicates great floods, with rivers breaking their banks and overflowing. Invading the 「Hé Gǔ」 star indicates that thunder and lightning will occur out of season, causing the death of aquatic creatures. Invading and directly confronting the 「Tiān Bàng」 star indicates the outbreak of weapons and the rise of bandits. Invading the 「Jiàn Xīng」 star indicates that the king's way will be peaceful and tranquil. Invading and directly confronting the 「Gé Dào」 star indicates that the emperor will soon send envoys on an expedition.

犯沖大陵，冢官憂。犯捲舌，多讒諛。犯沖五車，水旱不調，人君憂。一雲五諸侯憂。犯沖天船，天下水災，魚行人道。犯沖匏瓜，天下不安。犯沖織女，主不寧，諸侯大憂。犯天津，水災。犯漸臺，宮殿火災。一雲帝出走。犯左右更，太史失錯。犯沖輦道，帝王出獵。

A falling star invading and directly confronting the "Daling" star indicates trouble for officials in charge of tombs. Invading and directly confronting the "Juan She" star indicates many sycophants and flatterers. Invading and directly confronting the "Wu Che" star indicates imbalance between water and drought, causing worry for the sovereign; some say it indicates worry for the Five Princes. Invading and directly confronting the "Tian Chuan" star indicates widespread water disasters and floods, leading to fish swimming on the roads people walk. Invading and directly confronting the "Pao Gua" star indicates instability throughout the realm. Invading and directly confronting the "Zhi Nu" star indicates the sovereign cannot rest in peace, and the princes face great worries. Invading the "Tian Jin" star indicates water disasters. Invading the "Jian Tai" star indicates fire in the palace; some say it indicates the sovereign fleeing. Invading the "Zuo Geng" and "You Geng" stars indicates errors in the calculations by the Grand Astrologers. Invading and directly confronting the "Nian Dao" star indicates the sovereign going out hunting.

流星者，帝之使也。入太微宮及諸內座，為使遠；出諸內座，為使出外也。流星沖紫微宮垣者，使遠採見，期三日內。沖入勾陳者，遠見天子，不出七日三日。犯華蓋者，還使有功慶。出華蓋內，內使發，不過三日。犯五帝內座，邊兵出，帝有大使出。一云：大將軍出。流星入五帝內座，使還見主。

A meteor is the messenger of the Heavenly Emperor. If a meteor enters the Taimei Palace and the various 'inner seats' stars, it indicates a messenger coming from afar. If a meteor leaves the various 'inner seats' stars, it indicates a messenger going out. If a meteor directly points to the Purple Micro Palace, it signifies that envoys from afar are coming to pay homage, and this will occur within three days. If a meteor directly points to the Gou Chen star, it signifies that people from afar are coming to pay homage to the Son of Heaven, and this will happen within seven or three days. If a meteor invades the Huagai star, it signifies that envoys returning from a mission will have meritorious achievements to celebrate. If a meteor flies out from within the Huagai star, it signifies that envoys within the palace are departing, and this will not exceed three days. If a meteor invades the Five Imperial Inner Seats, it signifies that border troops are being mobilized, and the Emperor has a grand envoy going out; some say it indicates a Grand General going to war. If a meteor enters the Five Imperial Inner Seats, it signifies that envoys are returning to pay homage to the sovereign.

犯六甲，賢良見用。犯北斗，兵大起，還回，使者奏事，內亂為災。犯大理，貴人入獄；獄官憂。入北極者，內使出。沖天皇大帝，人主有憂。沖文昌，公卿有大憂。一云：文書事。犯太陽守，外國有使至□。

Approaching the "North Pole" star indicates that court messengers will go out. Directly confronting the "Heavenly Emperor" star indicates that the sovereign will have worries. Directly confronting the "Wen Chang" star indicates that high-ranking officials will have great worries; another interpretation is that it relates to official documents. Approaching the "Sun Guardian" star indicates that envoys from foreign countries will arrive (the original text is missing one character, marked as "□").

犯天槍，王者憂，兵革起。犯天床，謀兵動，王者憂。犯四輔，帝王被迫。犯三公，宰相憂。一雲被免。犯天相，王者憂。犯內階，使者至。一雲陰謀事。犯天理，帝王欲振威，諸侯者殂。犯柱史，柱史大憂。犯女史，史官憂。

Invading the 'Four Ministers' stars indicates that the emperor is being coerced by others. Invading the 'Three Princes' stars indicates that the prime ministers will have worries; some say they will be dismissed. Invading the 'Seal Star and Star of Livelihood' star indicates the monarch will have worries. Invading the 'Inner Steps' star indicates that there will be envoys arriving; some say there will be secret plots. Invading the 'Heavenly Principle' star indicates that the emperor will soon display his authority, and among the feudal lords, some will die. Invading the 'Column Historian' star indicates that the official in charge of the column will have great worries. Invading the 'Female Historian' star indicates that the official in charge of female historians will have worries.

犯沖入天柱，主憂，有大使還。沖出天柱者，帝發大使出，振威天下。流星入平星，執令臣有憂。若有罪；出平星，臣有黜，期半年。犯庫樓，主者大憂。一雲兵起。犯沖鰲星，水蟲死，魚大貴。犯天淵，天下水，江海溢，百川決溢。犯沖天雞，兵起方霸。

A meteorite striking directly into and entering the "Heavenly Pillar" star indicates that the sovereign will have worries, and a great envoy will return. If the meteorite directly flies out from the "Heavenly Pillar" star, it signifies that the emperor will send a grand envoy to proclaim his authority throughout the land. A meteorite entering the "Level Star" indicates that officials in charge of laws and decrees will have troubles or be punished; if it flies out from the "Level Star," it suggests that subordinates will be demoted, and this will occur within half a year. If it strikes the "Storehouse Tower" star, it indicates that the official in that position will have great worries; another interpretation is that military conflicts will arise. If it strikes directly into the "Crane Star," it signifies that aquatic creatures will die off, leading to high prices for fish. If it strikes the "Heavenly Deep" star, it indicates widespread flooding across the land, rivers and seas overflowing, and rivers breaking their banks and overflowing. If it strikes directly into the "Heavenly Rooster" star, it signifies the outbreak of military conflicts, with one side dominating.

犯羽林軍，大軍散。一云：大兵起，主憂將帥。犯天倉，倉廩出，五穀大貴，人民大飢，主憂。犯天屎，人民多病。犯沖軍市，人大飢。犯土司空，天下兵大動，人民飢，男不得耕，女不得織；荒亂災起。

A falling star invading the 「Wuyinjun」 star indicates the collapse of a large army; another interpretation suggests the rise of a great army, causing the sovereign to worry about military leadership. Invading the 「Tiancang」 star indicates the granaries releasing grain, leading to high prices of grain and severe famine, causing the sovereign concern. Invading the 「Tianshi」 star indicates many people suffering from illness. Invading directly the 「Junshi」 star indicates severe famine among the people. Invading the 「Tusikong」 star indicates great military movements across the land, famine, men unable to till the fields, women unable to weave cloth, and chaos and disasters arising together.

犯沖弧星，夷狄大起，兵大動，流血為災。犯沖九坎，主者大憂。王憂後病。沖壘壁陣，犯土公，所主憂受辱。入羽林軍，兵大起，士卒發，將軍有出者，期三年。犯沖南極丈人，天下人民歌樂，風雨順時，帝王清泰，諸侯慶賀，國昌。

A meteor streaking across and directly hitting the "Arc Star" indicates a great uprising by the barbarians, large military movements, and bloodshed causing disaster. If it directly hits the "Nine Pits" star, it indicates great worries for the officials in that position, the king being troubled and the queen falling ill. Directly hitting the "Fortified Array" and attacking the "Earth Official" star indicates that the corresponding official will face worries and disgrace. A meteor entering the "WuLin Army" star indicates a great outbreak of warfare, large conscription of soldiers, and some generals going on campaign, which will occur within three years. Directly hitting the "South Pole Elder" star indicates that the people across the land will rejoice and celebrate, with favorable weather, clear governance by the emperor, the feudal lords celebrating, and the country flourishing.

客星者，非其常有，偶見於天，皆天皇大帝之使者，以告咎罰之精也。客星干犯兩角者，軍起不戰，邦有大喪。其色赤戰，所指必有破軍侵城，期七十日，或三年。他星入左角，兵吏有來繫者。色赤兵繫也，黃土功，色白義，黑色死，青色憂。守左角，色赤，天下大旱，五穀不成；守右角，大水。

The so-called "guest star" is not a star that is always visible in the sky; it appears occasionally and is regarded as an emissary of the Heavenly Emperor, used to announce calamities, misfortunes, and punishments. If a guest star approaches the left and right horns of the constellation, it indicates the outbreak of military forces without actual battle, and a great mourning in the state. If the star appears red, it signifies warfare, and the direction indicated by its bright tip will surely experience military defeat and the invasion of cities, with the event occurring within seventy days or three years. If other stars enter the left horn, it indicates that military officials will be detained and brought in; a red color signifies detention due to military affairs, a yellow color signifies detention due to construction work, a white color signifies detention due to righteous causes, a black color signifies death, and a blue color signifies worries and troubles. If a guest star remains stationed at the left horn and appears red, it indicates a great drought across the country and poor harvest of grain; if it remains stationed at the right horn, it indicates a great flood.

客星干犯亢，中國不安，兵起政亂，期一年。有星出右角間入亢，色赤有兵，白有過客，黑有過喪。入亢，有兵戰，士卒行，期不出九十日，天下大亂。出氐入亢中而散，人主有病，從帶下而上。守亢，國有臣不祥。

A guest star conflicting with the mansion of the Neck indicates unrest in the Central Plains, the outbreak of military conflicts, and chaos in the government, expected within a year. If a star emerges from between the right horn and enters the mansion of the Neck, a red color indicates military conflict, a white color indicates travelers, and a black color indicates passing funerals. When a star enters the mansion of the Neck, it signifies warfare and soldiers traveling, with the event occurring within ninety days, leading to great disorder throughout the land. If a star emerges from the mansion of the Root and enters the mansion of the Neck and then disperses, it indicates the ruler falling ill, with the illness spreading upward from below the waistband. If a guest star remains stationed in the mansion of the Neck, it indicates a minister within the country harboring ill intentions.

客星干犯入氐中，後宮有亂，暴兵動，期半年，遠一年。出氐，君有疾於國外，色黃白與兩星齊，期十日而赦，去二星一尺，期六十日赦；去兩星二尺，期百日赦。有星入氐，黑色大水，其國有改主，廊廟有憂；赤有兵，在廟中，近臣誅，殺貴人；逆守乘氐，諸侯王者坐法者，誅絕無後。

A guest star conflicting and entering the Root mansion indicates disorder in the palace, sudden military action, which will occur within half a year or, if further away, within a year. If the guest star leaves the Root mansion, the ruler will be ill abroad. If the star appears yellow or white and aligns with the two stars of the Root mansion, there will be a pardon within ten days. If the distance between the star and the two stars is one chi, there will be a pardon within sixty days. If the distance is two chi, there will be a pardon within a hundred days. If a star enters the Root mansion, a black color indicates a great flood, the country will change its ruler, and the court will face worries. A red color indicates military affairs; if the star is in the temple hall, it signifies the execution of close ministers and the death of the nobleman. If a guest starretrograde and stops in the Root mansion, pressing upon it, it indicates that among the feudal princes and kings, some will be executed and their lineage will be cut off due to violating the law.

客星干犯房，主國空，兵起，人飢，骨肉相殘。入房，有大臣殺其君。又曰：入天府，天下有喪，更令之事，若有急令。出房，在陽，為喪旱飢；在陰，為水兵飢。干犯鉤鈐，王宮大亂，不出二年。

A guest star conflicting with the Room Mansion indicates the country will be in a state of emptiness, military conflicts will arise, people will suffer from famine, and close relatives will kill each other. If a guest star enters the Room Mansion, it indicates a minister will kill his sovereign. It is also said that if it enters the Treasury Star and Command Star, there will be mourning throughout the country, changes in government policies, or urgent imperial edicts. If a guest star exits from the Room Mansion: if it goes to the south (Yang position), it indicates mourning, drought, and famine; if it goes to the north (Yin position), it indicates floods, military disasters, and famine. Conflicting with the 'Hook and Bell' star near the Room Mansion indicates great disorder in the royal palace, and the prediction will be fulfilled within two years.

客星入心，諸侯有來使者，出心，君使人於諸侯。色赤兵，黃土功，色青使者憂，色黑客凶。入太子宮，太子益官。赤星入心左星，太子有兵；入右星，庶子有兵。赤星大如缽大，赤如雞冠，而入心，人主遇賊。其出心也，行道甚遠，人主戮於千里外。客犯乘守心者，大旱，天下慎火，近期十日，遠期一年。

A guest star entering the Heart Mansion indicates that the princes will send envoys; a guest star leaving the Heart Mansion indicates that the sovereign will send envoys to the princes. A red color indicates military affairs, a yellow color indicates earth and wood construction work, a blue color indicates envoys having worries, and a black color indicates foreign guests bringing misfortune. If a red star enters the first star of the Heart Mansion (the太子宫), it indicates that the crown prince will add officials. If a red star enters the left star of the Heart Mansion, it indicates military affairs involving the crown prince; if it enters the right star, it indicates military affairs involving a younger son. If a large red star, as big as a bowl, with a red color resembling a chicken's comb, enters the Heart Mansion, it indicates the sovereign will encounter thieves; if it leaves the Heart Mansion and travels far, it indicates the sovereign will be killed beyond a thousand li. If a guest star invades, dominates, or stays in the Heart Mansion, it indicates a great drought, and the whole country should be cautious about fire. The effect will be seen within ten days or, if distant, within a year.

客星入尾，歲飢，人相食，多死者，北夷大飢來降，宮中忌之。天下大抵，一東一西，一南一北，男不得耕，女不得織。出入尾，皇后有去宮者。一曰：賤女有暴貴者。君使人於諸侯，備賊臣，兵革罷，天下大飢，歲多大風大雨。客星入箕中，天下大飢，人相食，人多徙棄，國多土功，北夷大飢，來歸中國，大風雨。舍箕，秋多水，干犯同。

A guest star entering the Tail mansion indicates a year of famine, people eating each other, and many deaths. The northern barbarians will suffer severe famine and come to submit. The palace should be cautious and avoid certain activities. The world will generally be in disunion, with factions arising in the east and west, and north and south, each holding their own. Men will be unable to till the land, and women unable to weave cloth. When a guest star appears and moves in the Tail mansion, it signifies that the queen may be expelled from the palace; alternatively, a lowly woman may suddenly rise to prominence. At this time, the ruler sending envoys to the feudal lords should beware of treacherous ministers. Although weapons may be laid down, the country will still face great famine, with much wind and rain that year. A guest star entering the Winnowing Basket mansion indicates a great famine, people eating each other, and many people migrating and fleeing. The country will have much construction work, and the northern barbarians, suffering from severe famine, will come to submit to the Central Kingdom. There will also be great storms and heavy rains. When a guest star remains in the Winnowing Basket mansion, it indicates much water in the autumn. If it approaches or collides with the Winnowing Basket mansion, the interpretation is the same as above.

客干犯南斗度，其國必亂，兵大起，期一年。入斗中三尺，三日不去，城郭閉，道路有阻，貴人坐之。入鈇鑕，士卒殺傷，其國將亡，外國來降。入斗，諸侯客有來見天子者；出斗，天子使人之諸侯。色青憂，赤兵，黃士功，白義，黑凶。入斗中，三日三犯，天下有赦，期三月。守斗，天下大喜得福。客守斗，兵家憂。

If the guest star stays at the 'Son of Heaven' star within the Net mansion, it indicates the emperor having no heir. If it stays at the 'Attached Ear' star, it indicates military affairs; another interpretation says military affairs are especially severe at the borders.

If the guest star remains in the four stars of the Ghost Mansion, it should be judged according to the star it invades, and the fulfillment of the prophecy will not exceed two years. If the guest star stays in the Ghost Mansion for fifty days without leaving, it indicates a great mourning in the country, the outbreak of military conflicts, generals fighting outside the country, and certain deaths in battle, with the fulfillment of the prophecy not exceeding one year. If the guest star is located to the west of the Ghost Mansion or enters from the west, it indicates the death of the elderly. If it enters from the east, it indicates the death of the young. If the guest star invades and stays in the Ghost Mansion, it indicates mourning throughout the land: in the south (Yang position) it indicates the emperor, in the north (Yin position) it indicates the minister; in the left it indicates the crown prince, and in the right it indicates the high-ranking official. If a guest star invades and remains in the mansion of Zhang宿, it indicates that the Son of Heaven will be troubled by matters related to wine.

客星干犯翼，國有兵，大臣憂，遠期百八十日。（與流星同。）出翼，將軍謀反，兵大起，必有戰，邊兵有大急，同姓諸侯有自立者。若大水，五穀傷，人民飢，去其邦，期三年。守翼，君弱臣強，四夷王。客星明大守翼，大水，江海決溢，四海道路阻塞，魚龍死於陸路。

If a guest star enters the 'Changsha' star near the Chariot Mansion, it indicates there will be matters of people fleeing; another interpretation is that all the troops will disperse completely.
