太陽乃火之精，為人君之象，父之配。行度有盈縮，故明歷者，以七十餘年立歲差之法，以追日度之真。太陽過宮不同，推人命宮未免有異，術者不可不審。自奎宿八度至十三度為正廟，自婁宿八度至十三度為正旺，自胃宿一度至七度為次旺，躔虛、房、星、昴四宿為升殿，獅子午上為本宮，乃中天離明之地。天光所照無私，會金水二星於身命二宮，皆主利名文章貴，品清職忌蝕怒，火土同宮則有害，夜生為背宿，晝生為嚮明。

日月：日月同宮主舊聲，文章富貴有科名。晝夜分司兼旺廟，始知明主秉鈞衡。日木：日木同宮貴顯臣，平生多福少災迍。木星是主兼乘旺，必作當朝上貴人。

日奴僕：奴僕之宮號陷方，照臨君父豈為良。縱饒父體常清健，亦恐身年壽早傷。奴僕弱陷之宮，太陽不宜居之。日妻妾：太陽臨照在妻宮，在望尊嚴德貴崇。莫使忌星興悖逆，婚姻皇族也平中。相生和睦相剋反目。

This宫 is most feared by the stars Luo Hui and Yue Bo, but it is favorable when it interacts and supports the Sun.

置積日減二算，以三千二百二十四一之為順行，減積日行餘，不滿順行數者以九因之，以中數二百四十八數除之，除不盡者為殘分，在一百二十四已下入疾歷，二百二十四以上入遲歷。疾行：一日行十四度半強。平行：一日行十三度半強。遲行：一日行十二度半強。二十七日有奇行一周天，更行二日與日合朔。

Subtract the remainder of the total days from this number; if the remainder is less than the forward number, multiply it by nine and divide by the middle number 248. If the division is not exact, the remainder is the residual fraction. If the residual fraction is less than 124, it is classified as the rapid movement; if it is more than 248, it is classified as the slow movement. The three types of lunar movement are: rapid movement, which covers 14.5 degrees per day plus a remainder; average movement, which covers 13.5 degrees per day plus a remainder; and slow movement, which covers 12.5 degrees per day plus a remainder. The Moon completes a full cycle in about 27 days and a little more, and after two more days it meets the Sun to form a new moon.

太陰水精，為人臣之象、母之所配。行度有平遲疾，已具於前。自婁宿八度至十三度為正廟，有一家以畢初度至九度為正廟，自胃宿七度至十三度為次旺，躔危、心、張、畢四宿為升殿，巨蟹為本宮。

From the seventh degree to the thirteenth degree of theStomach mansion is called its "Ciwang" (secondary prosperity) area; when it is located in the constellations 危, 心, 张, and 毕, it is called "Shengdian" (ascending hall); the Cancer宫 is its native palace.

若夜生人值在圓望皆為福德。如會金木水星臨於身命二宮，或為堂祿星，更在廟旺宮主貴。如值殘晦則減力，忌火土羅計同宮為蝕神。日生人為背宿，夜生人為嚮明。

If someone is born at night and the Moon is full, it is considered a fortunate star of virtue and fortune.
