天地既判，人物肇生，凡屬乾坤並立之身，均稟陰陽五行之秀，故經緯之學，以之而立法，禍福之機，由是而推。明其運行於天也，則有遲留伏逆生剋制化，其賦予於人也，則有富貴貧賤壽夭賢愚。

Heaven and earth have already been divided, and humans and all things began to come into being. All forms that receive the qi of Heaven and Earth and stand together within heaven and earth possess the essence of yin and yang and the Five Phases. Therefore, the study of stars and destiny is established based on this, and the key to fortune and misfortune is sought from here. In terms of the movement of stars in the sky, there are distinctions such as slow movement, staying in place, concealment, retrograde motion, as well as mutual generation, mutual control, mutual restriction, and transformation. In terms of their influence on human beings, there are differences such as wealth and poverty, high status and low status, longevity and short life, wisdom and foolishness.

八者雖殊，一皆有準天之高，星之遠，似若難明涇之濁，渭之清昭然易見，是故，開物成務之作，有待於聖人治曆明時之占，莫逃乎太史，信斯言也，能無從乎。銀河八萬，列宿三千三辰，六合於人五數。銀河星八萬，分野應列卿相諸官，星三千三辰，日月星也，天盤中有六合以取吉凶，六合者子丑合寅亥合之類。

These eight kinds, though different, all have certain rules for their interpretation. Heaven is so high, and stars are so distant, seeming difficult to investigate thoroughly; yet the turbid flow of the Jing River and the clear flow of the Wei River are immediately discernible. Therefore, the creation of objects and the accomplishment of great undertakings depend on sages; and the regulation of calendars and the discernment of seasons through divination are within the realm of the Grand Astrologers. This statement is indeed credible, how could one not follow it? The Milky Way contains eight ten-thousand stars, with the Twenty-Eight Mansions arranged in the heavens. The three luminaries above are the sun, moon, and stars. The Heaven Plate also includes the Six Harmony, used to determine auspiciousness and inauspiciousness. The Six Harmony refers to the pairing of Zi with Chou, Yin with Hai, and so on.

七政入垣七政者，日月木火土金水，如日居午，月居未，木居寅亥，火居卯戌，土居子丑，金居辰酉，水居巳申，名曰入垣。三臺合格：紫微垣乃帝座鶉火午位，少微垣乃鶉尾巳位，天市垣乃大火卯位，此謂之三垣也。如太陽居午，得金水左右夾之，或水前金後，名曰引從輔弼拱夾是也。倘羅計截於卯酉，日在紫微，金水列於巳未，或同一宮並無別星混雜，此乃三公之象。

"The Seven Planets in the Enclosure": The Seven Planets refer to the Sun, Moon, and the five planets of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. If the Sun is in the position of Wu, the Moon in Wei, the planet of wood in Yin or Hai, the planet of fire in Mao or Xu, the planet of earth in Zi or Chou, the planet of metal in Chen or You, and the planet of water in Si or Shen, this is called being in the enclosure. "Three Palaces in Accordance with Standards": The Purple Micro Enclosure is the Imperial Seat, located in the position of Wu in the constellation of Chuni Fire; the Xiao Wei Enclosure is in the position of Si in the constellation of Chuni Bird's Tail; and the Tian Shi Enclosure is in the position of Mao in the constellation of Big Dipper. These are referred to as the Three Enclosures. If the Sun is in the position of Wu, with the planets of metal and water on either side, or the planet of water in front and the planet of metal behind, this is called "being guided and assisted by ministers and advisors." If the Luo Hui and Ji Du intercept the positions of Mao and You, and the Sun is in the Purple Micro Imperial Seat, with the planets of metal and water in the positions of Si and Wei, or in the same palace without other stars interfering, this is considered the image of the Three Ministers.

或日月虛拱帝座，金依月，水依日，或午宮安命，日東月西，各升殿垣，或金水夾月入斗府。或木星在午，水為歲星君象也，得金水巳未，或寅戌二方拱合，亦曰三奇，此木所主，惟春夏得用，秋冬不取。

Either the sun and moon are in a virtual conjunction with the throne of the emperor, with the planet Venus following the moon and the planet Mercury following the sun; or the命宫 is located in the午 palace, with the sun rising in the east and the moon in the west, each entering their own palace; or the planet Venus and Mercury are flanking the moon and entering the mansion of the Dipper. Alternatively, if the planet Jupiter is in the午 palace, Jupiter is the planetary ruler and symbolizes the sovereign, and at this time, if the planet Jupiter is accompanied by the planet Venus and Mercury in the巳 and 未 positions, or if they are supported from the寅 and 戌 directions, it is also called the 'Three Marvels'. However, this configuration associated with Jupiter is only applicable for those born in spring and summer, and not for those born in autumn and winter.

官令同於歲駕；令者令星也，如甲乙寅卯生人，又值春令，同官祿主星駐於生年干支歲駕上是也，官星亦要得時，若木為官主更妙。日月夾於命垣：命宮得日月在兩傍夾之，又值玉堂祿勳之位為妙；午宮命得此尤妙。

"The official star coincides with the year's ruling star": The term "command" refers to the star currently in power. For example, if someone is born in a year of Jia or Yi, or in the year of Yin or Mao, and it is also the season of spring, then the ruling star of the year and the main star of the official star are both stationed on the birth year's stem and branch, forming this pattern. The official star should also be in its proper season; it is especially good if the star of wood is the official star. "The sun and moon are flanking the destiny palace": If the sun and moon are on both sides of the命宫 (destiny palace), and they are located in the positions of Jade Hall or Merit and Rank, it is most favorable. If the命宫 (destiny palace) is in the午 (午) position and this pattern is present, it is especially auspicious.

命坐玉堂主登歲殿；玉堂即貴人也，唐符國印之地，亦喜坐命於此，歲殿即本年歲駕宮，順數至本年干為歲殿是也，主星居之極妙，又如主星屬辰年，生木躔角道，亦謂之主登殿，忌金羅同位，餘仿此論。

"Life sits in the Jade Hall, indicating the person will ascend to the palace of the year": The Jade Hall is the position of the Nobleman, the place where the imperial seal and national seal are kept, and the命宫 also prefers to be seated here. The palace of the year refers to the palace of the current year's sovereign, which is determined by moving from the sovereign's palace in order until reaching the position of the heavenly stem of the current year; the main star of the命 is most auspicious when it resides here. For example, if the main star of the命 is in the year of Chen and the planet Jupiter is in the path of the Horn mansion, it is also called "ascending to the palace." However, it is inauspicious if the planet Venus and the planet Luo Hui are also present in this position. Other cases are to be judged in the same way.

君臨帝座身處崇勳；太陽君象也，居午乃帝座也，身乃太陰，坐祿勳為美，如甲祿到寅，辛祿到酉之類，太陰居之為妙。命主得局而朝元；元即本年歲星支辰是也，各得其局，如亥卯未、三方四正拱之為妙，此亦罕值，乃少會見也，又如主是火，得居寅午戌為入局，躔四火度為朝元。

"Ruler sitting on the imperial throne, standing in high honor": The Sun represents a ruler, and when it is in the午 (Wu) palace, it is sitting on the throne of the Emperor. The body palace is mainly governed by the Moon, and it is most auspicious when the Moon is in the position of official rank and merit. For example, the official luck of Jia (Jia) is in寅 (Yin), and that of Xin (Xin) is in酉 (You), and if the Moon is located there, it is excellent. "The destiny owner gains a harmonious formation and faces the origin": Here, "origin" refers to the earthly branch where the current year's star is located. Various stars form their own harmonious formations, such as the triple harmony of Hai (Hai), Mao (Mao), and Wei (Wei), or the three directions and four cardinal points converging to support, which is most favorable; however, such situations are rare and difficult to encounter. For instance, if the destiny owner is the Mars star and it is located in Yin (Yin), Wu (Wu), and Xu (Xu), it is considered to be in the formation. If it is located in the four fire-attached star positions, it is called facing the origin.

太陽引遠而從近；太陽，君象，要有引從，在前為引，在後為從，引宜遠，從宜近。不宜火土計孛羅同行。計羅截斷，觀其漏出何星；漏蟾光，宜值夜，不宜殘晦並無干翳，又化福祿貴印為上，如化刑囚暗耗減論。

"The sun is a symbol of the sovereign, and must be accompanied by stars that guide and follow; the star ahead is called the guiding star, and the one behind is called the following star. The guiding star should be somewhat distant, while the following star should be close. The sun should not be in conjunction with the fire star, earth star, Ji Du, Yue Bo, or Luo Hui. After Ji Du and Luo Hui cut off the celestial circle, one should look at which star is left exposed. If the exposed star is the moon's light, it is favorable if it appears at night, but it should not be a waning or new moon, nor should it be obstructed or obscured. If this exposed star also transforms into a fortune star, a merit star, a nobleman, or an official star, it is of the highest quality; if it transforms into a penal star, a captive star, a dark star, or a consuming star, it should be considered of lesser value."

漏官星，值時令不空，陷官居上品；漏福星得時令，又化吉，享福最厚；漏命漏貴化福貴，乃堪財名；漏恩必得貤榮賞爵；漏殺有制無危；田財二星不可漏也，漏則主虛花。

If the leaking out is an official star, as long as it is in its proper season, not falling into Kongwang, and not weak, it will be of the highest rank in official positions; if the leaking out is a fortune star, and it receives favorable weather conditions and transforms into a beneficial star, it will bring the greatest fortune; if the leaking out is the main destiny or a Nobleman and it transforms into a fortune star or a noble god, then both wealth and fame will be obtained; if the leaking out is an恩 star, one will certainly receive commendation, be granted titles, and be awarded noble ranks; if the leaking out is aInauspicious Sha, as long as it is controlled and restrained, there will be no danger. However, the stars of fields and houses, and wealth and possessions must not leak out, for once they do, it indicates that the family's business is hollow and not substantial.

官祿朝拱，無見他方惡曜。官福二主列居九五之宮，以拱命位為吉，對宮三方無惡曜，則吉；有，壞不取。諸星群聚於強宮；強宮者，即命田，妻官乃四強之宮，次則福德男女，財帛為次強，遷移謂之近強。

The star of official rank comes to pay homage, and there are no evil stars mixed in elsewhere: the rulers of the official rank and fortune virtue houses are located in the ninth and fifth houses respectively, and together they support the natal position, which is auspicious; the opposite house and the triple harmony positions should have no evil stars, otherwise the chart is ruined and not acceptable. A gathering of stars in a strong house: the strong houses refer to the natal house, property house, spouse house, and official rank house, which are the four strong houses; next are the fortune virtue house, children house, and wealth house, considered as secondary strong houses; the migration house is called near strong.

孤月獨明於黃道；黃道者以十干陰陽所取，甲丙戊庚壬屬陽，乙丁巳辛癸屬陰，且如陽命從本生年太歲宮，順數正月至本生月，住就於月上，逆數初一至本生日，住就於日上，順數子時至本生時，住即以時上，起納音之數，數之順行第幾位為黃道，逆行第幾位為黑道。

"The moon shines alone on the Yellow Path": here, the Yellow Path is determined according to the yin and yang of the ten heavenly stems. The stems Jia, Bing, Wu, Geng, and Ren are yang, while Yi, Ding, Ji, Xin, and Gui are yin. For example, for a person with a yang stem in their birth year, they start from the palace of the heavenly stem of their birth year and count forward through the months in order until they reach the month of birth. Then, they count backward from the first day of the month to the day of birth, stopping at that day. Next, they count forward from the子 hour to the birth hour, stopping at that hour, and use the Nayin sound element for that position. Counting forward to the corresponding position determines the Yellow Path, while counting backward determines the Black Path.

若是陰干亦從本生年太歲宮逆數月，月下順數日，日上逆數時，時上起納音，逆為黃道，順為黑道，納音數者，水一、火二、木三、金四、土五是也。

If the destiny is based on a yin stem, the calculation starts from the palace of the heavenly stem of the birth year, but counts the months in reverse order, the days in forward order on the month position, the hours in reverse order on the day position, and then the nayin sound element is calculated on the hour position. Counting in reverse reaches the Yellow Path, while counting in forward order reaches the Black Path. The nayin sound numbers are: water is one, fire is two, wood is three, metal is four, and earth is five.

天馬乘於生旺，母星占於高強。申子辰火為天馬，巳酉丑計是天馬，寅午戌水為天馬，亥卯未木為天馬是也。母星即恩也，高強即強宮也。官福互垣貴，明健以為上。官福二主交互為貴，官星入福，福星入官，又化貴印，祿福得時得令，不值空陷為上。

The Heavenly Horse is in a flourishing and vital position, and the mother star occupies a strong and powerful palace. In the years of Shen-Zi-Chen, the fire star is the Heavenly Horse; in the years of Si-You-Chou, the Ji Du star is the Heavenly Horse; in the years of Yin-Wu-Xu, the water star is the Heavenly Horse; and in the years of Hai-Mao-Wei, the wood star is the Heavenly Horse. The mother star is the benevolent star, and strong and powerful refers to the strong palace mentioned earlier. When the official and fortune virtue palaces exchange positions, it becomes a sign of nobility. If the official star enters the fortune virtue palace and the fortune virtue star enters the official palace, it is considered noble. If these stars further transform into a nobleman or an official star, and the official and fortune virtue stars are timely and in command without falling into empty or weak positions, it is considered an excellent pattern.

金水輔日，在停均而為佳。金水輔太陽，須要分明不亂，不破為佳，停均一作停午，乃正晝也。殿駕貴勳，互相管攝。歲殿、歲駕、貴人、祿勳，已上四星宜相倚賴。刑囚難殺，俱各潛藏。刑囚，乃十干所化曜也，難者八宮主也，殺者劫的刃並諸煞是也。

The stars of Jupiter and Venus assist the Sun, and it is best if their positions are evenly distributed: Jupiter and Venus supporting the Sun should each be in their proper place, clear and orderly, without confusion or being attacked. "Steady and even" in some editions is "Steady and noon," referring to the time of day. The stars of the year's end, the year's carriage, the Nobleman, and the rank of merit should mutually control and support each other: these four stars should rely on and support one another. The stars of punishment, imprisonment, and difficulty, along withInauspicious Sha (evil killing stars), should all be hidden and concealed: the stars of punishment and imprisonment are derived from the ten heavenly stems, "difficulty" refers to the ruler of the eighth house, and "killing" refers to劫杀 (plundering killing), 的杀 (the killing), The Yang Blade (Yang Blade), and various evil stars.

官曜顯而福星明，官高祿厚。官星即官祿主也，福星即福德主也。科甲強而爵星弱，名重爵輕。科甲即命對宮主是也，爵星即地元爵星也，子土丑水之類是也。

When the official star is prominent and the fortune virtue star is bright, the official position is high and the salary is generous: the official star is the ruler of the official禄宫, and the fortune virtue star is the ruler of the fortune virtue宫. When the star of academic excellence is strong and the爵star is weak, the reputation is great but the rank is low: the star of academic excellence is the ruler of the palace opposite the命宫, and the爵star is the爵star belonging to the earthly branch, such as the Zi palace belonging to earth and the Chou palace belonging to water.

相天子、理陰陽，必星聚兩班而朝命。居冢宰理陰陽，必須恩陽吉星兩傍拱夾、命宮，或日月列居九五之次，乃輔相之命也。臨兆民，行政令，乃宿分一道以輔君。治萬民、總庶政，必宜吉恩輔佐太陽，餘難，必列有制之垣。

Those who can assist the Son of Heaven and regulate yin and yang must have the myriad stars arranged in two groups to attend the命宫: a person who holds the position of prime minister and regulates yin and yang must have auspicious stars such as the Grace Star and the Yang Star on both sides of the命宫, or the Sun and the Moon Stars positioned in the ninth and fifth palaces respectively. This is the destiny of a prime minister. Those who can personally attend to the people and implement decrees must have the myriad constellations arranged in a single line to assist the sovereign star: a person who governs the people and oversees all affairs must have auspicious stars and the Grace Star assisting the Sun Star; other difficult stars must also be located in confined palaces.

主居六弱、用入四強。第六宮為奴僕，李虛中云：命主入奴僕，議論有殊貴，為君從賤作人奴。命田官妻為四強宮，得用星吉，曜宜駐此位。身命喜居五九恩，官畏入虛鄉。男女遷移，號為五九之位，亦係三方也，身命主宜列於此。甲子生人，無戌亥恩星官星，怕臨此位也。更觀天馬之運行，以定品流之高下。宜看天馬地驛流年進入何宮，會官祿命宮，會限歲可知升遷品第，以定高低格局也。

The person's destiny falls into the sixth palace, a weak position, yet the useful god is in one of the four strong palaces. The sixth palace is the servant palace. Li Xuzhong said that when the person's destiny falls into the servant palace, there is a different way of judging. A person who should be a ruler is now following a lowly status and serving as a servant. The palaces of destiny, fields and homes, officialdom, and wife and concubine are the four strong palaces. Any auspicious stars that are beneficial should be located in these positions. The body and destiny favor falling into the fifth and ninth palaces with the favoring star. The official star, however, should avoid falling into an empty place. The palaces of male and female and migration are called the fifth and ninth positions, which also belong to the triple harmony directions. The body and destiny should be located in these positions. As for those born in the Jiazi year, if the戌 and亥 palaces do not have the favoring star or official star, there is a fear that the body and destiny will fall into those positions. One should also observe the movement of the Heavenly Horse to determine the high or low status of a person's character. One should look at where the Heavenly Horse and Earth驿 are entering in the flow of the year, whether they combine with the officialdom palace or the destiny palace, and then combine this with the current age and the flow of the year to know about promotion and rank, thus determining the level of the overall structure.

母依日月，身坐田財。母者恩星也，與日月並行，故曰傍母安身，主得親友恩助，或得祖基或有橫財。太陰繫身坐田財宮，有吉星助主富。田財互垣，守垣更逢生而司令。田星入財，財星入田，名曰互垣，或各立本宮入垣，更得長生乘於時令尤妙。

The mother star depends on the sun and moon, and the body palace is located in the field of property and wealth. The so-called mother refers to the benevolent star; it moves together with the sun and moon, hence called "benevolent mother supporting the body," indicating receiving help and support from relatives and friends, or inheriting ancestral property, or gaining unexpected wealth. If the Taiyin star belongs to the body palace and is located in the field of property and wealth palace, with auspicious stars assisting, it indicates wealth. When the field of property and wealth exchange their original palaces, each remains in its own palace but encounters generation and support, and is in season: when the star of the field of property enters the palace of wealth, and the star of wealth enters the palace of the field of property, it is called mutual palace; or when both stars are in their original palaces and enter the palace, if they also receive the growth energy and are in season, it is even better.

日月朝命夾命，又入局而得經。日月在九五曰，朝命在左右，曰夾命，如入局得經，太陽躔星，太陰寧張更妙。田財最喜臨身命，身命又喜傍父母。田財二星喜臨身主命主。恩星同太陰，曰傍母，安身得人維持，恩同命主，曰母來顧，子有恩養之德也。

The sun and moon are said to face the destiny palace and flank it, and when they enter the chart and align with the regular paths: the sun and moon are called 'face the destiny' when they are placed in the ninth and fifth palaces respectively. They are called 'flank the destiny' when they are located on either side of the destiny palace. If they enter the chart and align with the regular paths, the sun is placed in the Star Mansion and the moon in the Extended Net Mansion, which is even more favorable. Stars representing land and wealth are most favorable when they are near the self and destiny. The self and destiny also most favor being near the stars representing parents: the stars of land and wealth are most favorable when they are placed above the self and destiny. When the grace star is with the moon, it is called 'near the mother,' providing support for establishing oneself and one's destiny. When the grace star is with the self, it is called 'the mother comes to care,' allowing the son to enjoy the blessings of his mother's care.

母星得拱，又臨照於命財。母星拱命，或臨命宮，或拱財宮，或財星同立入官宮皆吉。奴煞伏降，不侵凌於官福。餘奴星及馬前諸殺，皆伏降不相剋，官福星財喜臨於墓庫，田忌陷於空亡。財星臨於庫，如金庫丑，木庫未，火庫戌，水土庫，辰之類，要財宮直此，亦喜財星居庫，陽為空，陰為亡，如田財星居之不吉。財化令，令生財，必致豪盛。財星生令，令星生財必富。

The mother star is supported by many other stars and shines upon the命宫 and the财帛宫: if the mother star supports the命宫, or directly occupies the命宫, or supports the财帛宫, or enters the官禄宫 together with the财 star, it is auspicious. The slave stars and malevolent stars are hidden and subdued, not interfering with the官禄 andFortune Virtue: the four remaining slave stars and the horses before the post-horse are all subdued and inactive, not conflicting or harming each other. The财 star prefers to be in the storage position; the田宅 star should avoid being in the empty and lost position: if the财 star is in the storage, such as the metal storage in the丑, the wood storage in the未, the fire storage in the戌, and the water and earth storage in the辰, then the财帛宫 should be in these positions. It is also favorable if the财 star itself is in the storage. The yang position is called 'empty', and the yin position is called 'lost'; if the田宅 or财帛 stars fall into the empty and lost positions, it is inauspicious. If the财 star transforms into the command star, and the command star generates the财 star, the family will certainly become prosperous: if the财 star generates the command star and the command star generates the财 star, wealth will certainly come.

命入田，田入命，亦主豐腴。田星入命，命星人田必富，須無駁雜星為美。官福生田財，名虛利實。官星、福星生田財，二主富而少貴。田財生官福，利重名高。田財二星生官福，二主富貴雙全。暗耗厭見二四之宮，福祿喜居九五之位。暗耗怕見田財二宮，祖業少靠，福祿二星宜居九五兩宮，三方拱命為吉。更逢限氣之扶持，必見鎡基之充裕。若限度相生相扶有氣，必定田宅充實。

The person's destiny is connected to the field and dwelling, and the ruler of the dwelling is connected to the person's palace, which indicates a prosperous family. When the star of the field and dwelling enters the person's palace, and the person's ruler star enters the field and dwelling, wealth is assured, but it must be free from conflicting stars to be favorable. Officials and fortune virtue stars that generate the field and dwelling wealth are associated with a good reputation but actual profit: when the official star and fortune virtue star generate the field and dwelling rulers, wealth is present but rank is less. When the field and dwelling stars generate the official and fortune virtue rulers, there is actual profit along with a high reputation: when the field and dwelling stars generate the official and fortune virtue rulers, both wealth and honor are achieved. Hidden and consuming stars are most disliked in the second and fourth palace, while fortune and official stars are preferred in the ninth and fifth palace: hidden and consuming stars should not appear in the field and dwelling palaces, as this indicates a lack of ancestral fortune; the fortune and official stars should reside in the ninth and fifth palaces, as they are in the triple harmony position and support the person's palace, which is favorable. If further supported by the influence of the current period, the family's foundation will certainly be abundant: when the period and the native's chart are in a harmonious relationship, the field and dwelling will certainly be prosperous.

身命受傷，田財失陷。太陰及坐命處，卻被空陷受刑，傷害也。田星財星俱陷空弱之地、被克之位。福祿背於身命，且居惡弱之宮。福德官祿二主俱背，身命入惡殺宮。暗耗聚于田財，更落空亡之地。暗耗聚在田宅財帛二宮，又值空亡。奴殺破庫而破祿，主星夾殺而夾奴。餘奴入官祿，又不宜入庫宮，有此必破。

The body palace and life palace are harmed and afflicted, with the fields of property and wealth falling into decline and loss: the Taiyin and the palace of life are subjected to harm from Kongwang, weakness, and mutual punishment; the stars governing property and wealth also fall into weak and empty positions or are afflicted. The stars of fortune and official rank are distant from the body and life, and fall into evil and weak palaces: the rulers of the fortune and official rank palaces are distant from the life palace, and the body and life fall into evil and killing palaces. Hidden stars and consuming stars gather in the fields of property and wealth, and also fall into empty positions: hidden and consuming stars gather in the property and wealth palaces, and also coincide with Kongwang. Slave stars and evil killing stars break through the storage position and destroy the official rank position, with the ruling star of life being sandwiched between evil killing stars and slave stars: the four auxiliary slave stars enter the official rank palace, and it is also inappropriate for them to enter the storage palace, and such a situation inevitably leads to ruin.

命主被殺克或殺奴夾拱。生值嚴冬，金水孛臨於身命。冬令生人，水冷金寒之屆，五行不得其時，又值金水孛月依輔，身命不足道也。坐逢弱限，火計彗戰于田財。若限入弱地，火孛不宜交戰于田財二宮，計孛不宜相鬥田財兩宮，官福二位亦然，蓋孛克火，計傷孛故也。

This refers to the person's destiny being afflicted by凶杀, or being surrounded by凶杀 and奴星 on both sides. Sitting in a weak period, 火星 and 计都 are fighting in the field of property and wealth宫: if the period enters a weak position, 火星 and 月孛 should not fight in the field of property and wealth宫, and 计都 and 月孛 should not fight in these two宫 either. The same applies to the official position and fortune virtue宫. This is because 月孛 overcomes 火星, and 计都 harms 月孛.

生忌洩於餘奴，身嫌坐於惡殺。氣孛羅計謂之餘奴，奴恩二星同行而洩其氣，故不我福，惟氣星主吉。太陰身主怕居的刃、劫亡之地，迭惡殺尤凶。母命虧，而官福俱陷。命主恩星官福二主，俱怕陷於空亡惡弱之地。限主弱，而難殺交侵。限主失所，更值難殺當途，假如午命五旬外入亥限，限主屬木，飛入辰宮亢度，秋生本弱，又見八殺之宮故凶。

For example, a person who establishes their destiny in the午 palace, when they reach the limit of the亥 palace at the age of fifty, the ruler of the limit belongs to wood, and it flies into the辰 palace's Kangle mansion. Those born in autumn are naturally weak, and they also encounter the palace of eight killers, so it is凶.

主入六宮，定是艱辛勞苦。命主入奴僕，必主奔波勞碌；凶星逼迫，則為營伴之人。命居隔界，終當遷轉流離。如胃三在戌，胃四過酉，乃是岐界之地，必出祖入贅之人，否則住居不定也。更會奴煞於福德之鄉，必須困老於窮途之下，奴煞二星會於福德，傷乏困老之人。

The person's destiny falls into the sixth palace, which certainly brings hardship and toil: when the person's destiny enters the palace of servants, it inevitably leads to a lifetime of constant movement and struggle; if further afflicted by malevolent stars, they become someone who serves in a military camp. When the destiny palace is located at the boundary of two palaces, they will ultimately have to migrate and be unsettled: for example, if the stomach mansion's third degree is in the戌 palace and the fourth degree has already passed into the酉 palace, this is a boundary between two palaces, and such a person will certainly leave their ancestral home and become a赘婿, or else live without a fixed place. If furthermore, the servant star and malevolent stars join the fortune virtue palace, they will certainly end up in poverty and die in hardship: when the servant star and malevolent stars meet in the fortune virtue palace, it indicates that this person will be poor and die in a state of distress.

主居惡弱，身陷休囚。命主坐惡弱之宮，太陰化刑囚又臨蝕晦，居休囚死絕之地。吉星散亂以無情，凶曜戰爭而不靜。吉星入陷背而不合不拱，凶曜反入強宮相戰相剋。奴宿或侵於命位，煞星或戰於亨衢。餘奴入命梗，其諸吉星而無力，馬前諸煞戰於亨道而遏吉，宿用而無用，利而不利。

The slave stars sometimes invade the destiny position, and the evil stars sometimes fight on the main roads: the four surrounding slave stars enter the destiny palace and cause trouble, making all the auspicious stars lose their power; the numerous evils before the post-horse fight on the smooth road and block the auspicious qi, so the useful stars become useless and the beneficial things become unbeneficial.

主曜失躔，奴餘反居正位。如木星居亢，既失其位，氣星反得，寅亥居之其餘，羅卯戌，計子丑，孛巳申皆是。凶星當道，身命不近貴人。限行見凶煞當道，或克限主，又身命二星，不得近諸吉星與貴人。

陰陽晦蝕以無光，金水退留而失次。日月遇蝕，闇昧失道而少精彩，金水二星，常隨太陽而行不過三宮，水宜先行，金宜後行乃吉，如金行先，水返於後，或退或留，失其次則亂。身命拱值難，殺曜當權。值難凶星拱照命身，及殺星秉令有勢，但宮中有惡制惡，而權最大。

If a difficult star is aspecting the body and destiny, and maleficent stars are in authority: when difficult and maleficent stars aspect the body and destiny, and maleficent stars are in command and powerful; however, if there is a malevolent star in the palace that restrains another malevolent star, this becomes the most powerful and favorable configuration.

日月夾刑囚閒神攘殿。太陽太陰被刑囚凶星夾之，午未二宮乃日月之殿，被木氣土計居之，躔日月之度亦是。無用忌奴而占貴守命。奴星、忌星、殺星，不宜占貴守命。得勢值難而破福傷官。值星、難星得令有勢，畏在官福二宮，或同官福，更安身命於驛馬之前後，必效驅策於士夫之左右，身命二主在馬前後居住，主卑微小輩，或驅策區畫從徵近貴末，後功成前必困苦之人也。

If the body and life are placed before or after the post-horse, the person will certainly be running around serving officials and scholars: if the body star and life star are located before or after the post-horse, it indicates a person of low status, or someone who is forced to run around, follow the army, and struggle to attach to the powerful; even if they eventually achieve success, they must have been in hardship earlier on.

田星司，令壽元逢生。田星乘旺，納音得令二星逢生旺，主有壽也。身處高強，無殺星而犯殿。太陰泊處，高強諸殺不犯，官福與田財之垣。命居生旺，得歲令以入垣。命坐生旺地，本命得歲令入最吉。

日月夾命守田宅，是壽元而最妙。日月夾命宮令星居田宅，若令星又是本命納音星最吉，如甲子乙丑，金星壽元又得秋令。金水輔身臨命位，為母曜而尤佳。金水星輔太陰，或臨本命位，或金水為母星乃妙，貧而壽者辱，乃田財弱，而身命強。田星財星陷空，值弱宮四廢，時身命二主得令居強，雖貧有壽。

富而壽者榮，乃官福高，而母令健。官星、福星、母星、令星皆居高強健旺，則富而又壽也。大喜金水日月之滿用。盤中最喜太陽太陰金水二，星四者合照夾拱，兩相合用為吉也。最嫌火、羅、計、孛之當途。火、孛、計、羅四星當權，臨限值殺尤惡，逢空制小可，若田令身命以無虧，必富壽而康寧。

A person who is wealthy and long-lived attains honor and success due to high and strong official stars, fortune virtue stars, mother stars, and command stars. If the field star, command star, and the person's own destiny are all intact without loss, then the person will certainly be wealthy, long-lived, and healthy.

田令身命四主俱坐高強，並無少失，則主富壽康。寧五福之全備也。倘宮度母財俱有益，當安享而遐齡。宮度母財四星，兩相倚賴有益，相生化吉，限途不遇殺難、則安享長年壽算也。

The rulers of fields and homes, the commanding star, the self ruler, and the life ruler are all seated in strong and elevated positions, with no deficiencies at all, indicating wealth, longevity, and health, which is the complete five blessings mentioned in the Book of Documents, the Hongfan chapter. If the palace ruler, the measure ruler, the mother star, and the wealth star all benefit each other, then one can enjoy a long and peaceful life: the palace ruler, measure ruler, mother star, and wealth star are interdependent and mutually beneficial, generating good fortune through mutual generation, and during the course of their life journey, they do not encounter harmful or dangerous influences, thus enabling a long and secure lifespan.

主宿失垣，身星傍鬼。主星失垣躔克是也，如夏金躔室，秋木躔亢之類。或殺星同命主共躔克主，又太陰受傷，諸煞同位破局，刑囚攢命位，四正俱空。破局者，破碎陽刃、七殺、劫殺也，更化刑囚星守命，又值受克，用星受抑，四正空，而無吉星助也。

These transform into刑星 and囚星 and guard the命宫 (destiny palace). The main person is directly harmed, the star used for reference is suppressed, and the four cardinal positions are all empty without the assistance of auspicious stars.

司時殺難克限宮，三方無救。秉令殺難星，克遇限宮，三方並無解救，更加流年殺惡，主夭折。母星令星俱陷，官宿福宿皆空。人則以母恩相益為本，何宜失陷，令星繫人之本源出處，亦不宜損之。官星福星既空，而無倚用，四者損廢自，然夭折。

When the current rulingInauspicious Sha (malevolent killing star) and值难 (difficulties star) harm the palace of the current limit (行限), and there is no rescue in the Triple Harmony direction: if the current ruling killing star and difficulties star harm the palace of the current limit, and there is no star to relieve in the three directions, plus the evil of the current year's凶杀, it indicates a short life and premature death. If the mother star and command star are both陷落 (fallen), and the official star and fortune star are also落空 (empty), then the person's life is doomed. A person relies on the mother star and mercy star to enhance each other as the fundamental, how can they be lost? The command star relates to the person's origin, which should not be harmed. If the official star and fortune star are already empty and have no support to rely on, with these four all damaged, it is natural to result in premature death.

天殺會合地殺交攻。天殺原所值八殺難星也，地殺即馬前劫殺陽刃的殺之類，及流年殺星入命，逼限即當殞歿、祿元破、壽元虧，齊到殺鄉，端可慮。祿元者，我生彼是也，申子辰生人，木是寅午戌，土是亥卯未，火是巳酉丑，水是。壽元者，即納音也，三元星，雖無虧，若限到殺鄉，必凶祿壽元星逢破，則主死無疑。

The禄元 (destiny star) is the star that is born from me, so those born in the years of Shen-Zi-Chen have Wood as their禄元, those born in the years of Yin-Wu-Xu have Earth as their禄元, those born in the years of Hai-Mao-Wei have Fire as their禄元, and those born in the years of Si-You-Chou have Water as their禄元. The寿元 (longevity star) is theNayin sound element (sound element) star of the original destiny. Even if the three stars are not damaged, if the life span reaches the kill area, it will certainly be dangerous; and if both the禄元 and寿元 stars are attacked, death is certain.

難星強，限星弱，才交關界便須防。殺難星強，行限星弱，克戰岐界限交，吉凶出泰入否之間，必宜防卒時之凶也。更看流年星殺之並沖，以斷某月何日之殞歿。已上要斷何時年月日，那季聚殺會凶決之。

When the star of difficulty is strong and the star of the limit is weak, one must be cautious once they enter the boundary: if the star of difficulty and the strong star of calamity are powerful, while the star of the limit is weak, the two will clash and struggle at the boundary. This occurs at the critical moment when the favorable period transitions into an unfavorable one. One must be especially vigilant against sudden misfortunes. Also, one should examine the conjunction and clash between the annual star and the star of calamity to determine the exact month and day of death. To accurately predict the year, month, and day, one should look at which season sees the gathering of many harmful stars and the convergence of evil influences, and make a decision based on that.

金水坐命，木氣扶身。金水二星入命，或命坐金水，其星本垣也。木氣星同太陰，必賢達者，或老成功而能設策、處公道之人也。名甲朝陽，躬親臨於君駕。科名者，即甲乙木星也，科甲者，命官對宮主是也，得入午宮、或臨太陽、或臨歲駕，可為清賢之士，金水亦然也。

The stars of Venus and Mercury are in the命宫, and the star of Jupiter along with the Purple Qi star support the body palace: If the stars of Venus and Mercury are in the命宫, or if the命宫 is exactly on the original palace of Venus or Mercury, and the star of Jupiter and the Purple Qi star are together with the Moon, then this person is certainly virtuous and successful, or mature, experienced, skilled in planning and fair in conduct. 金水秉令，獨相助於月華。金水助月，或只一星隨太陰，倘得月華上弦，秋令尤妙。或身泊於斗牛之間，或命躔於奎壁之府。斗牛奎壁之府，文武大人之位，若太陰泊守，或命主星於此，皆賢哲之人也。

日居日廟，單聯兩傍之金水。如太陽坐星日馬、昴日雞、虛日鼠、房日兔，得兩傍金水夾之為吉。月入月垣，不見三方之土計。太陰居張月鹿、危月燕、心月狐，又畢月烏之舍不見三方土計為吉。更免閒神混雜端，為氣質清明。已上無星殺擾亂，必主聰明出眾，智慧超群，非賢人而何。
