課體：知一，曲直，伏殃，狡童。課義：午丁雙見，先惡後善，攜財禱貴，庶免災殄。解曰：午火臨干克干，卯遁丁臨支發用，亦克辛金。然而午與日支未合，卯與辛課戌合，始雖相仇，中歸和合也。晝貴臨身作官，亥卯未全局是木，為日之財。若以己財告貴，貴喜財生，必能免我之害。或輸財求爵，亦能有成，斯理同也。干上午，得支之胎神。支上卯，得干之胎神，為互胎格。又三合為傳，支十復交車相合，名交合格。三傳財爻，必憂父母。幸干上先有午火，竊財爻而生父母，不為乖也。

There are four types of lesson patterns: Zhi Yi, "Qu Zhi" (Triple Harmony of Hai-Mao-Wei forming a Wood triad), Fu Yang, and "Jiao Tong" (a man who is cunning and seeks union, indicating private affection). The lesson meaning says: the presence of Wu fire and Ding spirit together indicates initial evil but later turning to good; going to pray to a nobleman with money, almost certainly can avoid calamity. The explanation says: Wu fire is on the day stem and attacks the day stem, while the hidden Ding fire is on the day branch and initiates the transmission, also attacking Xin metal. However, Wu does not combine with the day branch Wei, and Mao combines with Xin day's Xu. At first they are enemies, but in the middle they become harmonious. In the daytime, the nobleman is present and transforms into an official star. The combination of Hai-Mao-Wei forms a complete Wood triad, which is the day stem's wealth爻. If one uses one's own money to appeal to the nobleman, the nobleman likes wealth to generate official status, so certainly can avoid harm. Or spending money to gain rank, also can achieve the same result, the reasoning is the same. The Wu fire on the day stem receives the fetal spirit from the day branch, and the Mao on the day branch receives the fetal spirit from the day stem, this is called mutual fetal pattern. Also, the three transmissions form a triple harmony, and the stem and branch again combine, called intersecting harmony pattern. All three transmissions are wealth爻, certainly worrying about parents; fortunately, there is Wu fire on the day stem, stealing the wealth爻's energy to generate parents, so it is not considered as a violation.

斷曰：三傳木局，先直後曲。雖遇辛而成器，有震動不寧之象。天時：有風無雨，爵見虹霓。家宅：人宅不寧，若中高第，改換門第，建豎旗杆，則為吉應。婚姻：不宜，若先苟合，則應。胎產：主雙胎，或私胎。功名：利以財求。求財：得財雖多，終以奉勢。

It is said: The three transmissions form a wooden pattern, first straight then curved. Though wood may be shaped into useful objects by the cutting of the metal Xin, there is still a sense of disturbance and instability. As for the weather: there is wind but no rain, and perhaps one might see a rainbow. As for the household: both people and the house are not at peace; if someone in the family passes the imperial examination, changes their status, or erects a flagpole, then it will be a favorable omen. As for marriage: it is not advisable to marry. If a relationship has already begun secretly, then it may be fulfilled. As for pregnancy: it indicates a twin birth, or a pregnancy resulting from an affair. As for official rank: it is advisable to use money to seek it. As for seeking wealth: although wealth may be obtained in abundance, in the end it will be used to flatter those in power.

疾病：占父母病勢危，多進參藥無恙。失脫：主有奸拐之事，或投勢要。出行：宜載寶謁貴，或赴捐納例。行人：遲至。爭訟：笑裡藏刀，先恩後仇；若先齟齬，後反和解。兵戰：多聚糧草，利和不利戰。

Disease: The illness concerns the parents, and the condition is serious. Taking more ginseng and similar tonics will be beneficial. Loss: This indicates a case of theft or abduction, or someone may have taken refuge with a powerful family. Travel: It is advisable to carry wealth and visit a nobleman, or to handle matters related to official donations. A traveler: The traveler will arrive late. Dispute: The other party appears friendly but has hidden intentions; there was initially a favor, but later becomes enmity. If the dispute starts off aggressively, it may eventually be resolved. Warfare: There is a need to stockpile food and supplies; it is favorable to seek peace rather than engage in battle.

畢法云：簾幕貴人高甲第，交車相合交關利；金日逢丁凶禍動，傳財化鬼財休覓；后合占婚豈用媒，干支全傷防兩損。金匱經云：二上克下，同類相摧，朋友讒佞，禍從外來。精蘊云：晝占雖日鬼臨身，緣是貴人，勿作鬼祟看。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: When the Nobleman is in authority behind a curtain, it indicates success in exams; when the car meets and they are harmonious, trade and exchanges are beneficial; when the Golden Day meets the hidden stem Ding, misfortune will arise; when the wealth yao in the three transmissions transforms into the official ghost, there is no need to seek for wealth; when the Heavenly Empress and Liu He appear together in a marriage divination, the two parties will naturally come together without the need for a matchmaker; when both the day stem and day branch are injured, be cautious of mutual loss between host and guest. The "Jin Kui Jing" says: When the upper deities of two places overcome the lower deities, similar elements destroy each other, friends spread false praise, and misfortune comes from outside. The "Jing Yun" says: Although an official ghost is present in daytime divination, it is actually the Nobleman, so do not regard it as a ghostly evil.

課體：涉害，無祿，四絕。課義：無祿可守，祿又閉口，君子惡之，彼已有咎。解曰：祿以養君子也，卦名無祿，且閉口而臨絕鄉，此為君子失其所養，故深惡之。況干受巳火之克，支被寅木之傷，彼己均有殃咎也。

There are three types of lesson patterns: involvement in harm, no official salary, and 'four extremes' (all four positions are in the extreme phase). The lesson meaning says: there is no salary to rely on, and the only salary is blocked and cannot be used; the gentleman deeply detests this lesson, because both the other party and himself carry faults. The explanation says: salary is used to support the gentleman, but now the hexagram is named 'no salary', and being blocked and in the extreme phase further worsens the situation. This means the gentleman has lost the means of support. Therefore, he deeply detests this lesson. Moreover, the day stem is harmed by the fire of巳, and the day branch is injured by the wood of寅, so both the other party and himself suffer misfortune.

斷曰：此涉害之課，又四下克上，名為無祿。日辰陰陽俱戰，不得其所，幾於無路可投，有否之象。占者多主孤獨無助，屈者難伸。惟賴末傳亥水可護日干，而又值空亡，悔咎難免矣。凡事先發者勝。幸神將尚吉，君子謹身省過，亦能絕處逢生，先否後喜。若恃強妄作，必致窮於無措。

The divination indicates this is a lesson of involvement and harm, and also a case where the spirits in four directions attack the upper spirit, known as "no fortune." Both the yin and yang aspects of the day stem and day branch are in conflict, each unable to find their proper place, almost with no way to escape, showing the appearance of the "Guan" hexagram, which signifies blockage and obstruction. Those who consult this divination are likely to face loneliness and lack of support, with grievances difficult to resolve. The only reliance is the final transmission, which is the water of亥, able to protect the day stem. However, it is precisely at the position of Kongwang, leading inevitably to regret and fault. Those who act first will prevail. Fortunately, the divine general is favorable. If a gentleman can be cautious in his conduct and reflect on his mistakes, he may find salvation in desperate situations, first experiencing blockage and then turning to joy; but if he relies on force and acts recklessly, he will surely end up in a situation where there is no way forward.

天時：有雨，應雷不雷。家宅：不寧，主家有喑者。婚姻：為弟兄晝占者宜，夜占不用。胎產：防胎死腹中，產亦可畏。功名：不利。求財：將本求者利極輕微，空手反利。投謁：賓主不和。疾病：主噤口不語，或絕飲食，凶。失脫：難尋，逃者怕歸。出行：防在路缺少資斧。行人：占幼輩即歸。爭訟：主尊長凌欺卑幼，有屈難言。兵戰：宜慎安營，忌東方。

Heavenly conditions: It is raining, but thunder does not come. Home: Unrest, indicating there is a mute person in the family. Marriage: Arranging a marriage for a brother, it is favorable in the daytime, but not suitable at night. Pregnancy: Be careful of miscarriage, and childbirth is also dangerous. Officialdom: Unfavorable. Seeking wealth: If you go with capital, the profit is very slight; if you go without capital, it is more beneficial. Visiting: The host and guest are not in harmony. Disease: The person may be unable to speak, or may stop eating, which is ominous. Loss: Hard to find, and those who have run away may be afraid to return. Travel: Be careful of lack of money on the way. Travelers: Those of younger generation will return soon. Disputes: The elder may oppress the younger, and the wronged party may be unable to speak up. Military conflict: It is advisable to be cautious in setting up camp, and to avoid facing the east.

畢法云：支干全傷防兩損，彼此猜忌害相隨，胎財死氣損胎推。括囊賦云：見無祿兮少子孫。指南：十月丑將加午占赴召曰：游都臨支，賊符克干，課名無祿。此去必不得意，且遇大兵，然則病乎。曰：病符坐空，陰神又制之，病無慮也，後果驗。

The *Bi Fa Fu* says: When both the day stem and day branch are injured, one should beware of mutual defeat between the host and guest; when the four lessons interact to form harmful relationships, it indicates mutual suspicion between the parties; if the wealth hexagram is afflicted by death qi, then one should consider the possibility of miscarriage or loss of offspring. The *Kuo Nang Fu* says: If the chart shows no official rank, it indicates few descendants. The *Liu Ren Zhi Nan* records a case: In the tenth month, using the丑 (Chou) general added to the午 (Wu) hour, it was used to divinate a person's appointment to take office. The judgment said: The killer spirit is located on the day branch, and the thief symbol is attacking the day stem. The chart is called "no official rank," and this journey will certainly not be satisfactory, and one will encounter a major military disturbance. The person then asked, so will he get sick? The answer was: The disease symbol is sitting on the empty wasteland, and the hidden spirit is controlling it, so illness is not to be worried about. Later, it indeed came true.

課體：反吟，無依，天網，井欄關。課義：意孟來求，奈何互墓，甘分沉淪，兩貴皆怒。解曰：干上乘支墓，支上乘干墓。我孟使他昏迷，卻被他昏迷了去，此所謂天網恢恢也。干復坐干支墓之上，支復坐於干墓之上，彼此顛倒，自招昏晦，甘心沉淪而不悔。往來投奔，亦何為哉。日貴午臨子，夜貴寅臨申，兩貴皆受克，所以怒也。

There are four types of lesson patterns: Reverse Chant, No Dependence, "Heavenly Net" (Heaven's net is vast, people fall into it), and "Well Fence" (like leaning against a well and holding a railing, unstable and unbalanced). The lesson meaning says: originally intending to seek help from others, but unable to rely on the interaction between the day stem and day branch, which are both in the storage positions; thus, one can only willingly sink into confusion. Both noblemen are angry. The explanation says: the day stem is riding on the day branch's storage, and the day branch is riding on the day stem's storage. I wanted to make him confused, but he became confused first, which is called the Heavenly Net. The day stem is sitting on the storage of the stem and branch, and the day branch is sitting on the storage of the day stem, each other inverted, bringing about darkness, willingly sinking without regret; thus, coming and going repeatedly in search of help, what is the purpose? The day nobleman is at noon in the position of午 (Wu) over 子 (Zi), and the night nobleman is at寅 (Yin) over 申 (Shen), both noblemen are being restrained, hence they are angry.

斷曰：此無依之卦，亦名無親。傍井倚欄，攲斜沖射，為象渙散而不屬，不能長久。動則相宜，靜則反擾。事主速成，亦復易敗。況干支互墓，人宅昏晦，初末傳及日上陰陽，皆值空亡。凡有謀為，皆無終始。丑加未，占雨主有云。

The divination indicates a卦 without support, also called a卦 without affinity. It is like being by the well or leaning against the railing, leaning crookedly and not upright, with mutual conflict and shooting, its image is scattered and not belonging to any particular aspect, and it cannot last long. When it moves, it is suitable, but when it is still, it is disturbed. The matter tends to be completed quickly, but it is also easily ruined. Moreover, the heavenly stems and earthly branches are mutual storage, both person and dwelling are dark. The first transmission, final transmission, and the yin and yang spirits on the day stem all fall into Kongwang. Any endeavor will have a beginning but no end. The combination of Chou on Wei indicates rain, but only clouds are present.

天時：陰晦，多風雨。家宅：主有伏尸。或在鄰舍對門。婚姻：主女卑微而年長，反覆不定。胎產：主卑妾有孕，防不實。功名：淹滯無成，廕襲則大利。求財：與人交易，各失便宜。投謁：貴人不喜。

Heavenly Conditions: The sky is dark and gloomy with much rain and wind. Family Residence: There are remains of a long-dead body buried in the house; if not in one's own home, then in a neighboring or opposite house. Marriage: The woman being considered for marriage comes from a lowly background and is of advanced age, and this marriage will be repeatedly changed and not settled. Pregnancy: The pregnant woman is a lowly concubine, and one should also be cautious that this pregnancy may not result in a live birth. Achievements: There is continuous stagnation, and personal efforts will find little success; if one inherits benefits from ancestors, it will be very advantageous. Seeking Wealth: Engaging in business with others, neither side will gain an advantage. Seeking an Audience: Going to visit a nobleman, but the nobleman does not like it.

疾病：新病易瘥，久病凶。失脫：繫女人所竊，難覓。出行：孟出復止，夜占防遇小人。行人：歸者復出，出者復反。爭訟：主因婦人或失盜，事宜兩和。兵戰：欠利，防有奸人細作。

Disease: New illnesses are easy to recover from, but long-term illnesses are ominous. Loss: It is a woman who took it, and it is difficult to recover. Travel: One wants to go out but stops, and one should beware of small people at night. Traveler: Those who are coming back will have to go out again, and those who are going out will have to return. Dispute: The main cause is due to a woman or theft, and it is advisable to reconcile both sides. Warfare: Not very favorable, beware of spies infiltrating.

畢法云：首尾相見始終宜，干支乘墓各昏迷；兩貴受克難干貴，支乘墓虎有伏尸。課經訂訛云：日鬼發用，中末逢墓，常人為喜。心印賦云：日辰上見墓神加，病者無痊災可嗟；行人失約路途賒，若當時日來歸家。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the beginning and end meet, everything is suitable; when the day stem and day branch each carry theTomb Spirit, both the person and the house are confused; when both the day and night noblemen are restrained, it is difficult to seek help from the nobleman; when the day branch carries theTomb Spirit and also the white tiger, there are corpses buried for a long time without burial in the house. The "Ke Jing Ding E" says: When the official ghost of the day stem initiates the transmission, and the middle and final transmissions also meet theTomb Spirit, it is actually good for ordinary people. The "Xin Yan Fu" says: When theTomb Spirit is on the day branch and overlaid, the sick person will not recover, this disaster is truly regrettable; a traveler who misses the appointment and travels a long way, if he says he will return home, it should be on the day of the current day.

課體：涉害，鑄印，乘軒，勵德，度厄。課義：上刑下刑，晝失娉婷，本無和氣，況有旬丁。解曰：巳申戌未子卯，四課三傳，無一不刑。上下之間，全無和氣。卯乃辛之妻，而晝乘元武，則為婚財兩失。況末遁旬丁，反助初鬼而傷於干耶。

The lesson meaning says: the superior is punishing the inferior, and the inferior is punishing the superior. When divining in the daytime, one also loses a beautiful wife. Originally there was no harmony, and how much more so when there is the hidden departure of the Ding spirit within the ten-day cycle. The explanation says: the spirits of Si, Shen, Xu, Wei, Zi, and Mao are all present in the four lessons and three transmissions, and nowhere is there harmony between the upper and lower. Mao is the wife wealth of Xin metal, and in the daytime divination, it is occupied by the Black Tortoise, thus both marriage and wealth are lost. Moreover, the final transmission hides the fire of Ding from the ten-day cycle, which then assists the initial transmission's official ghost to injure the day stem.

斷曰：此見機之卦，亦名鑄印乘軒。君子知機，行仁布德，自當官祿顯榮，聲名洋溢，財帛豐盈。若不足以當之，則內外刑傷，觸處皆成荊棘。況初末傳皆見天后元武，印模為支上神所刑，名曰鑄印不成。即德位相當者，亦宜謹凜，見機而作，不俟終日，非有介石之貞，未能免咎。

The divination indicates a卦 of discerning opportunity, also known as "casting the seal and riding the carriage." A gentleman who can recognize the right moment, practice benevolence and righteousness, and spread kindness and virtue will naturally achieve official honor and fame, and enjoy abundant wealth. However, if one's virtue and reputation are insufficient to match the situation, then both inside and outside will suffer punishment, and everywhere will be full of thorns and obstacles. Moreover, both the first and final transmissions show the Heavenly Empress and the Black Tortoise, and the mold for casting the seal is harmed by the deity governing the day branch. This is called "casting the seal without success." Even for someone whose virtue and position are in harmony, one should still be cautious and vigilant, act according to the opportunity, and not wait until the day is over. If one lacks the firmness of "standing between stones" as described in the Yu hexagram, one is sure to incur faults.

天時：蒸熱得雨。家宅：益人丁，宜謹門戶。婚姻：不宜。胎產：主女，胎防損。功名：主有除授升遷，然位高防險。求財：主空手得之，或繫闇昧，防因財生患。

Heavenly Conditions: After a period of oppressive heat, rain will arrive. Family: There will be an increase in family members, but the household should be kept secure. Marriage: Not advisable. Pregnancy: Indicates the birth of a daughter, and care should be taken to prevent harm to the fetus. Official Rank: There will be appointments and promotions, but when the position becomes high, one should beware of dangers. Seeking Wealth: Wealth will come without effort, or through questionable means, and one should be cautious of troubles arising from money.

疾病：主婦人狂病見鬼，凡病先重後輕，久病不吉。失物：失物難得，逃亡怕歸。出行：宜上官之任，常人不利。行人：占僮僕必至。爭訟：主為妻財之事，宜消解。兵戰：軍中不寧，主將逍遙，土卒搶攘。

Disease: This indicates a woman suffering from a madness illness, claiming to see ghosts; all diseases begin severe and then become lighter, but if the illness persists, it is not auspicious. Lost items: The lost things are difficult to recover, and those who have run away are afraid to return. Travel: It is suitable to take office, but ordinary people's travel is not favorable. Travelers: The servant will definitely arrive. Disputes: The matter is about wife and money, and it is advisable to mediate. Military conflict: The army is not peaceful, the general is carefree, while the soldiers are chaotic and fighting over belongings.

畢法云：賓主不投刑在上，人宅皆死各衰羸。觀月經云：河魁本是印，火到自然成；在職重超擢，居官更顯榮。又云：三下制其上，六親意不虞；象還同長幼，事不免嗟吁。

The *Bi Fa Fu* says: The host and guest do not harmonize with each other because punishments and restrictions are all upon the upper spirits; both the person and the dwelling encounter death qi, each becoming weak. The *Guan Yueling* says: Hekui in Xu is originally the seal, and when fire arrives, it naturally forms; those in official positions may expect promotion, and officials will become even more prominent. It also says: Three lower spirits restrain the upper spirits, and among the six relations, unexpected things occur; the situation is like elders and juniors out of order, and affairs are sure to lead to lamentation.

課體：知一，曲直，寡宿。課義：晝財失散，動多災難，夜貴純財，外徒好看。解曰：三傳全財，財太旺者，必反傷財。晝將皆屬水獸，重疊生之，脫其干氣，故為失散之象。況刃網在前，動則必遭災難也。以夜將言之，六合亦財，天后生財，財益旺矣。但初中空陷，末傳金虎踞墓，外雖好看，內則空虛耳。

The lesson meaning says: if a divination is done during the day about wealth, it indicates that the wealth will scatter, and any movement will bring many troubles and difficulties; if a divination is done at night about the nobleman, the pure wealth signs are present, appearing good on the outside, but in reality they are just superficial. The explanation says: all three transmissions are wealth signs, and excessive wealth will actually harm the wealth. During the day, the heavenly generals are all water animals, which successively generate wealth, draining the energy of the day stem completely, hence the image of scattered wealth; moreover, the yangren and luowang are right in front, so any movement will certainly lead to disaster. If we consider the night generals, the liuhe is also wealth, and the heavenly empress also generates wealth, making the wealth even stronger; however, the first and middle transmissions both fall into empty and trapped positions, while the final transmission's metal spirit is riding the white tiger and sitting in the storage, appearing good on the outside but ultimately empty inside.

斷曰：此知一之卦，成曲直之局。占事主先屈後伸，始難終易。善惡混處，繁冗駁雜，宜於審擇固執。雖三合六合，像極和同。而四課三傳，不落空陷者，僅存午未。交關紛錯，毫無實際。雖遇辛日，難望其器之成也。

The divination indicates this is a卦 of knowing one, with the three transmissions forming a curved and straight wooden structure. The matter being divined will have the subject initially suffering hardship but later expanding. The beginning is difficult while the end is easy. Good and bad are mixed together, complicated and disorderly, so one should carefully examine and choose before firmly holding on. Although there are triple harmony and six harmonies, the image shows extreme harmony, but among the four lessons and three transmissions, only the hours of Wu and Wei are not empty or陷. The interactions are chaotic and confused, with no solid basis. Even if there is the effort of cutting on a辛 day, it is difficult to expect success.

天時：密雲不雨，大風虹見。家宅：主常有喜慶宴會，防婢妾有奸竊事。婚姻：和合，夜占更吉。胎產：女胎，產極難。功名：主得虛銜，遇貴有濟。求財：得利，亦多虛耗。疾病：得於飲食，婦女難愈。失脫：難獲。出行：得好伴，一路安樂，但耗財。行人：占幼輩即至，餘未回。爭訟：主為財產，或舟車之事，宜和解。兵戰：晝占大勝，歲月逢亥卯則吉。

Heavenly Conditions: Dense clouds do not rain, but a strong wind arises and rainbows appear. Family Home: There will be frequent celebrations and banquets, but one should be careful of servants or concubines committing infidelity or theft. Marriage: Harmonious, more favorable at night. Pregnancy: A female fetus, with difficult childbirth. Official Rank: One will only receive an empty title, and only with the help of a nobleman will there be success. Seeking Wealth: One can gain profit, but there will also be much waste. Disease: The illness comes from diet, especially difficult for women to recover from. Loss: The lost item cannot be found. Travel: One will meet good companions, with a safe journey, but it will cost money. Traveler: The younger person will arrive soon, others have not returned yet. Dispute: The matter concerns property or vehicles and boats, and it is advisable to resolve through reconciliation. Warfare: If divined during the day, there will be a great victory; if the year or month meets the branches of亥 or卯, it will be favorable.

畢法云：貴雖坐獄宜臨干，萬事喜忻三六合，金日逢丁凶禍動。心鏡云：用神今日比，事因同類起。精蘊云：卯加亥為胎坐長生，大宜占孕，惟不利占產。干上寅，支上亥，如夜占宜結絕告貴之事，謂干支值絕，凡謀決也。

The "Bifa Fu" says: Although the Nobleman is sitting in a prison position, if he is adjacent to the Day Stem, he is still usable; for all matters to be joyful and harmonious, it depends on Triple Harmony and Liu He; when metal day meets the hidden stem Ding, calamity will arise. The "Xingjing" says: if the used god is harmonious with the Day Stem, the matter will be initiated by peers or similar people. The "Jingyun" says: when卯 is added to亥, the fetal god is sitting in the Growth position, which is most suitable for predicting pregnancy, but not favorable for predicting childbirth. If the Day Stem is寅 and the Day Branch is亥, and the divination is done at night, it is suitable for settling old cases or seeking help from the Nobleman, this is called both the Stem and Branch being in the绝 position; any plan can be decided.

課體：別責，勵德，蕪淫，不備。課義：晝乘虎墓，棄迎賊伍，留宿仍前，俯就免苦。解曰：晝占虎臨金墓，墓覆日干，棄而往迎登明，則與元武為伍矣。蓋亥為盜神，又乘元武，盜脫干氣，遂進而停留中末以為止宿之地。乃仍前虎墓重重，凶之甚矣。不得已而俯就支上戌課，雖曰相刑，猶免其苦也。

The lesson meaning says: in the daytime, the White Tiger is riding on theTomb Spirit, so it can only abandon it and go to meet that group of thieves; after a journey of staying overnight, it remains the same ominous situation, and finally, by yielding to the day branch, the hardship is avoided. The explanation says: in the daytime, the White Tiger is on the metalStorage, theTomb Spirit covers the day stem; abandoning it and turning to meet the Dengming亥 water, it joins the Yuanwu. Since亥 is the thief god and rides on Yuanwu, it specializes in stealing and draining the energy of the day stem; then moving forward, taking the middle transmission and final transmission as places to rest, it is still covered by the White TigerTomb Spirit repeatedly, reaching the extreme of danger. In the end, it can only yield to the day branch's戌 lesson, although there is mutual punishment between them, it still avoids that hardship.

斷曰：此別責之卦，亦名蕪淫。土有驚憂怪異，而無實害。事不周全，物多偏缺，求望難成。二陽爭陰，紀網不肅，咎多福少宜矣。晝占貴人立卯，名為勵德。君子升遷，小人斥退。夜占盜神發用，中末天后恰合蕪淫，可不謹諸。三傳四課，惟干陰及支，不落空陷，凡事皆虛，禍亦減也。

The divination indicates a卦 of separate blame, also called a disorderly situation. It signifies there will be unexpected worries and strange occurrences, but no actual harm. Affairs will not be completed, things will be incomplete, and what is sought will not be achieved. Two yang forces contend for one yin, leading to disorder in the principles and regulations, resulting in more misfortune than good fortune. If this is divined during the day, the nobleman is positioned at卯, named "cultivating virtue": the virtuous will receive promotion, while the petty will be dismissed. If divined at night, the thief god initiates the transmission, and the middle and final transmissions are the heavenly empress, which perfectly matches the image of disorderly situation, so one must be cautious. Among the three transmissions and four lessons, only the yin spirit of the day stem and the day branch do not fall into emptiness or decline, so all matters are hollow, and the misfortune is thus reduced.

天時：求雨得雨，求晴未晴。家宅：晝占防尊長災，夜占防有奸私。婚姻：不吉。胎產：不實。功名：晝占謁貴可得，微員不利。求財：無所得。投謁：不遇。疾病：占長上凶，行年本命在未上有救。失脫：夜占為女盜，難獲。出行：不吉。行人：占同輩立至。爭訟：晝占須仗貴力，餘不得宜。兵戰：小挫反為禍。

Heavenly Conditions: If you ask for rain and get rain, but if you ask for clear weather it does not clear. Family Affairs: If divined during the day, be cautious of misfortune to elders; if divined at night, be cautious of secret affairs. Marriage: Unfavorable. Pregnancy: The fetus is not strong. Official Rank: If divined during the day, meeting a nobleman may bring success, but for a minor official position it is unfavorable. Seeking Wealth: Nothing is obtained. Seeking an Audience: Unable to meet anyone. Disease: Misfortune to elders; if the year of birth falls on the hexagram of Wei, there is hope of recovery. Loss: If divined at night, it is caused by a female thief and difficult to recover. Travel: Unfavorable. Traveler: A peer will arrive soon. Dispute: If divined during the day, rely on the help of a nobleman; otherwise, it is not suitable. Warfare: Suffer some setback which turns into disaster.

畢法云：干乘墓虎無占病，空空如也事休追。括囊賦云：不備蕪淫，必有陰私而起譖。中黃經云：元武登明上，眼目淚交流。課經云：於墓乘虎，占病必死。若年命得小吉乘蛇，庶幾可救。

The Book of Bi Fa says: If the day stem is accompanied by theTomb Spirit (mound spirit) and the White Tiger, do not use it to predict illness; if the Kongwang (void) is again on the Kongwang, there is nothing at all, and there is no need to pursue further. The Book of Kuang Nang says: If encountering unprepared licentiousness, there must be private matters leading to slander. The Middle Yellow Classic says: If the Black Tortoise is on the Dengming (Hai), it indicates continuous weeping from the eyes. The Classic of Lessons says: If the day stem's墓 is accompanied by the White Tiger, predicting illness indicates certain death; if the year pillar's original destiny is on Xiaoji (Wei) but not accompanied by the Teng Snake, there may still be a chance of survival.

課體：彈射，出陰。課義：夜祿虎守，卻宜閉口，倘居窘鄉，釋然無咎。解曰：辛祿在酉，祿臨支上，夜虎守之，難以往就。況酉是旬尾，宜閉口以應之，不可嘵嘵強求也。辛課在戌，戌落旬空。子加其上，亦脫干氣，非窘鄉乎。然安分居之，反得安然。出於三陰而坐受寅財之利，莫之咎也。

There are two types of lesson patterns: "Dànshè" and "Chūyīn" (emerging from the three yin regions into the three yang regions). The lesson meaning says: during the night, the day stem's luck is guarded by the White Tiger, so one should remain silent; if one resides in a distressed place, it will instead result in a clear absence of fault. The explanation says: the day stem is Xin, whose luck is in You. The luck is located on the day branch, and during the night it is guarded by the White Tiger, making it difficult to proceed to seek help. Moreover, You is the end of this ten-day cycle, so one should remain silent to deal with it, and should not loudly demand. On the day of Xin, the lesson is in Xu, which is in the empty position of the ten-day cycle, and Zi is placed on top of it, which also drains the day stem's energy, which is precisely a distressed place. However, by staying calm and content, one ends up safe; by emerging from the three yin regions, one can enjoy the benefits of the寅 wood wealth爻, and thus there is no fault.

斷曰：此彈射之卦，日陰發用，乃日上兩課自戰，作事無力，不於內事，不可出尖。中傳得辰土，是為彈射有丸，主驀有災悔。寅辰年二傳，為出於三陰，入於三陽，有自谷遷喬之象。兼之日自生子，子生用神。雖一路耗脫，卻得欣欣向榮，眼前未遂，不足為憂也。

The divination indicates: This is a卦 of shooting, with the Yin spirit of the day stem initiating the transmission. The two lessons on the day stem contend with each other, leading to weakness in affairs. It does not involve internal matters, nor is it advisable to take the lead. The middle transmission receives the earth element of Chen, which is called shooting with a projectile, indicating sudden calamity and regret. The transmissions of Yin and Chen come from the triple yin and enter the triple yang, resembling moving from a deep valley to a high tree. Moreover, the day stem itself goes to generate Zi, and Zi generates the initiating spirit. Although there is continuous loss, it can still flourish; current affairs may not be satisfactory, but there is no need for worry.

天時：求晴即霽，求雨遲得。家宅：主虛耗損財。婚姻：有成，終見衰弱。胎產：主婢妾不正，防不實。功名：捐財得之，無俸祿。求財：折本無利。投謁：不見。疾病：主虛脫，不能食，無妨。失脫：盜者在宅，見者不言。出行：就祿不利，犛財處反安。行人：來有小阻。爭訟：宜解。兵戰：晝占大吉。

Heavenly Conditions: If you seek clear weather, it will soon become clear; if you seek rain, it will come later. Home: indicates loss and expenditure of wealth. Marriage: can be successful, but eventually leads to decline. Pregnancy: indicates improper behavior by servants or concubines, and there is a risk of an unstable pregnancy. Official Rank: money can be obtained by spending it, but there is no salary. Seeking Wealth: loss with no profit. Seeking an Audience: cannot be seen. Disease: indicates weakness and loss of appetite, but it is not serious. Loss of Property: the thief is inside the house, and those who see him will not speak. Travel: going towards official positions is unfavorable, but going to places where money is spent leads to safety. Travelers: there are minor obstacles on the way. Disputes: it is advisable to reconcile. Warfare: favorable on the day of the divination.

畢法云：權攝不正祿臨支，空上乘空事莫追，一旬周遍始終宜。課經云：干上子盜脫干氣，晝乘天空，名脫空神，凡占皆無中生有，全無實跡。心鏡云：日克課神名彈射，縱然得中還無利；家有賓來不可留，每有口舌西南至。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the day stem is in the same earthly branch as its own heavenly stem, the person holding the position is necessarily a temporary administrator in an unofficial role; if the kongwang is also on the kongwang, there is no need to pursue further; if the deities of the ten days are complete and present throughout the cycle, everything remains suitable throughout. The "Ke Jing" says: The day stem's "zi" (a type of heavenly stem) steals the energy of the day stem, and during the day it is also accompanied by "Tian Kong" (which signifies emptiness and deception), known as the "tuo kong shen" (empty deity). In all divinations, this indicates something created out of nothing, with no real basis. The "Xin Jing" says: When the day stem attacks the deity of the lesson, it is called "tan she" (shooting). Even if it hits, there is no benefit; if there are guests at home, they should not be kept for long, and there will often be disputes from the southwest direction.

課體：昴星，天羅，掩目。課義：五虎晝逢，殃禍重重，全作六害，夜稍從容。解曰：申為白虎本方，晝占虎又乘亥，今課傳二亥三申，共為五虎，所以殃禍重重也。三傳申亥申，叫課申亥子未酉戊，全作六害。惟夜占將皆空元，雖亦陰賊虛詐，而不至如白虎之酷烈，無過脫耗而已，似稍從容也。

There are three types of lesson patterns:昴星, 天罗, and 掩目. The lesson meaning says: if divining during the day, one encounters five White Tigers, resulting in repeated misfortunes; if the four lessons and three transmissions are entirely composed of six harms, then during the night the situation is somewhat more manageable. The explanation says: the position of the White Tiger is申, and during the day, the White Tiger is also on亥; now, in the lesson and transmission, there are two 亥 and three 申, altogether forming five White Tigers, hence the heavy misfortunes. The three transmissions are申, 亥, and 申, while the four lessons are申, 亥, 子, 未, 酉, and 戌, and each pair forms six harms. Only during the night, the heavenly generals are all Tian Kong and Yuan Wu types; although they are not entirely free from deceit and falsehood, they do not reach the severity of the White Tiger, but rather involve loss and expenditure, which appears somewhat more manageable.

斷曰：此昴星之卦，柔日為冬蛇掩目，陰性從地，其氣下沉，伏而視之，事主闇昧不明，進退維谷，禍從內起。占者當收斂精神，決斷萬物，惟義所在，歸責於躬。晝占凶咎層疊，有驚天動地之象。夜占亦憂疑幻怪，千態百出，慎之慎之。

The divination indicates the hexagram of the昴 star. On a yin day, it is called Winter Snake Covering the Eyes: the nature of yin follows the earth, its energy descends and hides, observing secretly, so matters are obscure and unclear, with difficulty in advancing or retreating, and calamity arising from within. The person consulting should gather their spirit, decisively handle all affairs, and consider only whether something should be done, taking responsibility upon themselves. If consulted during the day, the ominous signs are layered and profound, with a grand and tumultuous appearance; if consulted at night, there are also doubts and strange phenomena arising together, in various forms, and one must be extremely cautious.

天時：晝占大風冱寒，夜占陰雨有風。家宅：不寧，主病患耗失。婚姻：大不吉，恐因婚得災。胎產：或雙胎，主大驚恐。功名：不宜躁進。求財：防被人脫賺，反致家道空乏。疾病：主虛弱，暴病吉，久病難瘥。失脫：難尋，逃亡自歸。出行：不宜遠行，防遇小人。行人：未回，有驚恐。爭訟：防陰謀虛詐。兵戰：不利，宜解甲休卒。

Heavenly conditions: During the day, it indicates strong winds and severe cold; at night, it suggests rainy weather with wind. For the household: it is not peaceful, indicating illness and loss. For marriage: it is very inauspicious, fearing that marrying may bring disaster. For childbirth: possibly twins, indicating great fear. For official rank: one should not be too hasty in seeking advancement. For seeking wealth: beware of being cheated, which may result in financial loss. For illness: the condition is weak, acute illness may be cured, but chronic illness is difficult to recover from. For lost items: difficult to find, but those who have run away will return on their own. For travel: not suitable for long journeys, beware of encountering small people. For a traveler: he has not yet returned, and there is fear on the way. For disputes: beware of the other party's schemes and deceit. For military conflict: it is unfavorable, and it is advisable to lay down arms and cease hostilities.

畢法云：虎視逢虎力難施，所謀多拙遭羅網；彼此猜忌害相隨，賓主不投刑在上。括囊賦云：昴星歸去而防險。照膽秘訣云：白虎猖狂滿屋傷。課經云：干上亥乃脫氣，天將又是元武，為脫盜格。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the lesson has a "Hǔshì" (Tiger Watching) structure and also encounters the White Tiger, even if one has strength, it cannot be fully utilized; the matters one plans are mostly clumsy, because one has run into a net. When the four lessons interact to form harm, it indicates mutual suspicion; the host and guest are not in harmony, because punishments and restrictions are all present in the upper deities. The "Kuanang Fu" says: When the lesson is of the "Mǎoxing" (昴星) structure, one must be cautious of dangers. The "Zhaochan Mijie" says: When the White Tiger becomes rampant, everyone in the house will be injured. The "Kèjīng" says: The亥 (Hai) on the day stem is exactly the leaking and escaping energy; the heavenly general is also the Black Tortoise, which is called the "Tuodao Ge" (Escape and Theft Pattern).

課體：伏吟，自任，元胎，寡宿，杜傳。課義：晝德祿空，脫馬未逢，長生乘武，守動勿容。解曰：亥乃日之德祿，本落旬空。晝占又乘天空，是為空上逢空。寅為驛馬，動則脫日之氣，幸在末傳，尚未逢也。申金居中，雖本日之長生，而晝乘元武，反多耗費。夫德祿空空，長生元武。初中兩地，既不可守矣，及動而至末，馬乘六合，奸私盜脫，又何利焉。天盤地盤，皆作六害，所謂彼此猜忌也。

The five types of lesson patterns are:Hidden Chant, 自任, 元胎, Guasu, and 杜传 (three transmissions are blocked and unpassable, suitable only for closing the door and guarding oneself). The lesson meaning says: On a day divination, the day stem's virtue and its official position both fall into emptiness, the leaking horse has not yet met; the long life deity is riding on the Black Tortoise, neither staying nor moving. Explanation:亥 is both the day stem's virtue and its official position for a壬 day, and it originally falls into the旬空; on a day divination, it also rides on the sky void, which is emptiness on top of emptiness.寅 is the horse, once it moves, it will leak the day stem's energy, fortunately it is in the final transmission, and has not yet met.申 metal is in the middle transmission, although it is the day stem's long life, but on a day divination it rides on the Black Tortoise, which leads to more loss. The day stem's virtue and its official position are empty again, and the long life is also riding on the Black Tortoise, since the first and middle transmissions cannot be held; when moving to the final transmission, the horse also rides on the Liu He, which is all about private dealings and theft, so what benefit is there? The heaven plate and earth plate each branch pairs to form the six harms, which is exactly what is called mutual suspicion.

斷曰：此自任之卦，亦名元胎，亦名杜傳。祿馬交馳，似乎眼前興旺，然恐臨時脫空，惟宜杜門晦跡，謙損自持，則晦中得吉。又課傳皆孟，格合元胎，凡事皆有新意。夜占將吉，晝占將逢空脫奸私，必見驚恐。

The divination indicates this is a self-assumed hexagram, also called the original embryo or Du Zhuan. The禄神 (favorable official) andThe Post-horse (post-horse) are both active, suggesting prosperity at present, but there is a fear of eventual failure. It is advisable to close the door, hide one's tracks, and maintain humility and self-restraint in order to gain good fortune in darkness. Both the main hexagram and the transmission involve the four young gods of寅 (Yin),申 (Shen),巳 (Si), and亥 (Hai), forming a structure consistent with the original embryo, implying that all matters carry a new beginning. If this is divined at night, the Heavenly General is auspicious; but if divined during the day, the Heavenly General meets Kongwang (void), leading to loss and secret affairs, which will certainly bring a shock.

天時：有雨，若久雨即難晴。家宅：晝占主空虛，防盜。婚姻：晝占不宜，夜占遲吉。胎產：主婢妾有孕，正月占防不育。功名：仕途遷擢，試得科第。求財：反覆未得。疾病：不吉，暴病癒。失脫：晝占難獲。出行：遠行不宜。行人：乍登途。爭訟：必歸和解，憂患冰釋。兵戰：防敵行詐，水旺時吉。

Heavenly conditions: There will be rain; if it rains for a long time, it is difficult to clear up. Home: During the day, it indicates emptiness in the household and suggests caution against theft. Marriage: During the day, it is not favorable; during the night, it will be delayed but eventually favorable. Pregnancy: Indicates a servant or concubine is pregnant; if divined in the first lunar month, there is a risk of the child not surviving. Official rank: There is hope for promotion in official career; those taking exams may pass successfully. Seeking wealth: There will be repeated efforts without success. Disease: Unfavorable; sudden illness may recover. Loss: During the day, it is difficult to recover the lost item. Travel: Not suitable for long journeys. Travelers: Just set out. Disputes: Eventually resolved, worries naturally disappear. Warfare: Be cautious of enemy deception; during the season when water is abundant, it is favorable.

畢法云：空上逢空事莫追，彼此猜忌害相隨。袖中金云：六壬日自刑，壬申日不為空亡。指要云：心鏡言行人立至門者，是本家暫出之人，非遠回人至也。

The "Bifa Fu" says: If Kongwang appears again on Kongwang, there is no need to investigate further; if the four lessons mutually form harm, it indicates mutual suspicion between the parties. The "Xiu Zhong Jin" says: On the six days with Renshen as the day stem, the day stem itself carries self-punishment, but on Renshen day, it is not considered Kongwang. The "Zhi Yao" says: The "Xin Jing" refers to a person returning home immediately, meaning someone from the same family who temporarily left, not someone coming back from a long journey.

課體：元首，退茹，斬關，朝支。課義：先鬼後空，退則有功，凡謀勉力，關格須逢。解曰：戌為日鬼，卻落旬空，雖兩虎並臨，不足畏也。壬干退而就申，申乃日之長生，庶有功也。先逢虛驚之鬼，又歷破敗之酉，於艱難中，更退一步，始得生息，故凡百謀為，必當勉力。但魁度天門，終不免於關隔。猶駕舟而登劍閣，御車而涉河津，其否多亨少宜矣。此課一名抱石投江。

There are four types of lesson patterns: the Head, Retreat, Cut-off, and "Morning Branch" (the third transmission ends and returns to the day branch, like the morning visit to the day branch). The lesson meaning says: first encountering the official ghost, which is in the empty position, then retreating leads to some benefit; any endeavor requires effort, but ultimately one will meet obstacles. The explanation says: the戌 is the official ghost of the day stem, but it falls in the旬空, though there are two white tigers, day and night, accompanying it, it is not to be feared. The壬 stem retreats to申, which is the long life of the day stem, so there is some effect. First encountering an official ghost that brings worry, then passing through the酉 which is a broken position, in hardship, retreating again brings vitality, so all endeavors must be pursued with effort. However, the Hekui戌 is placed on the Heaven Gate亥, inevitably leading to obstruction, like sailing a boat to the Sword Pass or driving a cart across the Yellow River, with many obstructions and few smooth passages. This lesson is also called holding a stone and jumping into the river.

斷曰：此元首之卦，掐合退茹，亦名斬關。凡事阻礙，君子應拔茅之吉，莫辭勞苦。小人戒關隔之凶，勿強糾纏。三傳朝支，利下不利上。斬關逢虎得斷，利私不利公。壬癸日辰加巳，謂之兩蛇夾墓，占病必有積塊在腹。

The divination indicates that this is a卦 of the sovereign, with a structure conforming to the retreat of the herb, also known as cutting the gate. All matters will encounter obstacles: the virtuous should respond to the auspicious omen of the "Thaw" hexagram "Pulling the hemp and uprooting the weeds," and should not refuse to endure hardship; the petty person should beware of dangerous obstructions and avoid entanglement. The three transmissions return to the day branch, benefiting the lower position but not the upper position. Cutting the gate coincides with the White Tiger, indicating that matters can be decided, benefiting private affairs but not public affairs. On the day of Ren or Gui, the hour stem is placed on the hour of Si, called two snakes enclosing the tomb, indicating that illness is certainly due to a mass in the abdomen.

天時：先見風雷，久而有雨。家宅：主有孤獨別離，並防逃盜。婚姻：不宜。胎產：主女胎，或私孕。功名：催官極速，防有空脫阻滯。求財：艱難得之，亦防虛耗。疾病：主隔氣或食積，宜下之。久病凶，猝病即瘥。失脫：自歸，否則難獲。出行：不得出。行人：有阻或戀他鄉。爭訟：不解即防被刑。兵戰：不利，有失眾之象。

Heavenly conditions: First there will be wind and thunder, then rain later. Family affairs: There will be loneliness and separation, and also beware of escape and theft. Marriage: Not suitable. Pregnancy: It is a female fetus, or conceived through secret relations. Official position: The official position will come very quickly, but beware of something being missed or delayed. Seeking wealth: It is difficult, but eventually something will be obtained, yet beware of waste. Disease: It indicates difficulty in breathing or food stagnation; it is suitable to use purgative methods. For long-term illness, it is dangerous, but sudden illness will recover quickly. Loss: The lost item will return by itself, otherwise it will be difficult to recover. Travel: Unable to go out. Traveler: There will be obstacles on the way, or staying in another place unwilling to return. Dispute: If not resolved, there will be the risk of punishment. Warfare: Unfavorable, showing a loss of popular support.

畢法云：魁度天門關隔定，干乘墓虎無占病，虎臨干鬼凶速速。括囊賦云：戌為白虎兮犬驚。又云：關遐隔遠，占行客而未來。課經云：干上發傳，末歸干支，為朝支格，不免俯就於人，被人抑勒，不能自由。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When Hekui (Xu) reaches the heavenly gate (Hai), the barrier is already fixed; if the day stem is accompanied by the tomb god and the White Tiger, do not use it to predict illness; if the White Tiger is on the official ghost of the day stem, misfortune comes very quickly. The "Kuanang Fu" says: Xu belongs to the White Tiger, indicating there will be disturbances from dogs. It also says: If the pass is distant and there are many obstructions, predicting someone who is away from home, they cannot return for a while. The "Ke Jing" says: If the transmission starts from the day stem and the final transmission returns to the stem and branch, it is the pattern of the branch, inevitably leading to submission to others, being oppressed, and lacking freedom.
