The initiating transmission of巳 fire forms a closed mouth pattern. As long as one keeps silent and unexpectedly breaks through, it is most favorable for matters concerning escape or movement.

解曰：天罡加干，晝占青龍臨之，所謂真斬關也。癸巳發用為閉口，若能謹慎語言，出其不意而突然以出，則利有攸往，誰能追而捕之哉。巳為閉口，亦為驛馬。而末傳又乘了神，故與動相宜。若冬春占此，官文兩旺，舉子必然登第，仕宦必得高遷。但干受辰脫，上乘青龍，不免歡喜中費財耳，

The Tiangang (Chen) is placed on the Day Stem. During the day, the Azure Dragon is also present, which constitutes a genuine cutting-off transmission. With Guisi initiating the transmission and forming a closed mouth, if one speaks cautiously and suddenly departs when others are unprepared, it is favorable to go somewhere, for no one can catch up or capture. Since Si is both a closed mouth and the Post-horse, and the Final Transmission is riding the Ding spirit, it is suitable for action. If this situation is divined in the spring or early summer, the official star and documents are both strong, so candidates taking the imperial examination will certainly pass, and officials will certainly be promoted. However, since the Day Stem is weakened by the Chen earth, and the Azure Dragon is above, there will be inevitable expenses amidst joy.

斷曰；元首之課，貴神驛馬，與官星交動。若更並年月吉將，其福未有艾也。

General interpretation: This is a sovereign lesson, where the noble deity, the post-horse, and the official star all move together. If it is further combined with auspicious generals from the previous year and month, blessings will never be exhausted.

天時：風雨交加。家宅：六親皆好，事業可圖，三傳遞生，得人欽敬。功名：癸遁巳上，為閉口官星，不宜多事，交至中末，則大發矣。求財：財臨支上，取之尚難。謁貴：得貴人歡心。婚姻：恐女不正。

Heavenly conditions: Wind and rain are intense. Family home: All six relations are favorable, and business can be managed; the three transmissions are interrelated in a cycle of generation, leading to being respected by others. Achieving fame: The癸 water is hidden above the巳 fire, forming a closed official star, so it is not advisable to cause many disturbances; when it reaches the middle and final transmissions, great success will come. Seeking wealth: The wealth element is located on the day branch, making it somewhat difficult to obtain. Seeking noble support: One can gain the favor of a noble. Marriage: There is a fear that the woman may have improper behavior.

胎產：孕男且貴，產時亦易。求謀：諸事可成。疾病：當有肺病，醫治可愈。爭訟；無事。出行：晝占宜由陸路，夜占宜由水路。行人：馬戀生，不能動身。盜逃：不得。兵戰：有解甲息兵之狀。

Fetus and childbirth: The child is a boy and carries noble fortune; childbirth will be easy. Seeking to make plans: All matters can be accomplished. Disease: One will suffer from lung disease, but it can be cured. Disputes: There will be no trouble. Travel: If divined during the day, it is favorable to travel by land; if divined at night, it is favorable to travel by water. Travelers: The post-horse is attached to the place of growth and cannot move. Theft and escape: The thief cannot be caught. Military conflict: There is a scene of disarming and ceasing hostilities.

畢法云：鬼乘天乙乃神祇。指南：壬午九月辰將加未，午命人占功名，曰；貴德宮星臨年，月將青龍居干，且羊角相加(謂辰加未，辰有角星，未為羊)，應未年甲榜。歲居干後，日生青龍，先京職而後外任。但身祿不得地，歲君臨嗔怒之所，恐為國家起見，不保其官。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "When the ghost is riding on the Heavenly Ethical Stem, it becomes a deity." When official ghosts are riding on the Nobleman, the offense is in the divine realm. The "Zhinan" records: In the Renwu year, during the ninth month, the辰 general was placed on the 未. A person born in the午 year who divined about his official rank was interpreted as follows: The Nobleman, the Day Stem's virtue, and the official star all occupied the position of the current year. The Month General, the Azure Dragon, was also located at the Day Stem. Moreover, the 辰 has the horn star, and the 未 is originally associated with the sheep, so together they form the image of "sheep and horn combined," indicating that he would pass the examination in the 未 year and achieve a first-class rank. The sovereign year was located behind the Day Stem, and the Day Stem generated the Azure Dragon, suggesting he would first serve as a central official and then be transferred to an outer post. However, his own禄神 is not in a favorable position, and the sovereign year is located in a place of anger, so he might speak frankly about state affairs, and perhaps lose his position.

課體：涉害，曲直，不備。課義：人得傳力，將傳廢宅，自取其禍，半危半吉。

"The method of 'Shè Hài' (Involvement in Harm) is applied when both the upper and lower parts of the four lessons are subject to being overcome. In such a case, the lesson that is most heavily overcome is chosen as the initiating transmission. 'Qu Zhi' (Curved and Straight) refers to the three transmissions forming a triple harmony of wood (Hai, Mao, Wei), which embodies the nature of curved and straight wood. The meaning of the lesson states: the three transmissions form a wood structure that generates and supports the day stem, thus benefiting the person who receives the influence of the three transmissions. However, the wood structure also drains the energy of the day branch, leading to the decline of the residence. This misfortune was originally self-inflicted, so both good and bad fortune are shared equally."

解曰：木局生干，人得傳力也。木局脫支，宅不因之而廢乎。況天將俱屬土，能克亥水，未臨支上，又復克之，宅之廢也宜矣。然此家宅之禍，由丁自取也。蓋丁課在未，自上支門克支，支遂投卯而成木局，生身脫宅。其生也，其吉也。其脫也，其危也。兩兩相半，吉凶平分矣。此為迴環格，乃三傳俱在四課之中，又為干支相會，非不備課也。占凶凶成，占吉吉就。未與卯俱上克下也，涉害取用。未與卯俱四克，但未為孟上神，而又先見，故此課亦有用未發用者。

The three transmissions form a wood group that supports the day stem, showing that the person receives assistance from the three transmissions. The wood group also drains the energy of the day branch, causing the residence to inevitably decline. Moreover, the heavenly general is entirely of earth nature, capable of overcoming the亥 water, and the未 earth is located on the day branch, adding another layer of overcoming. The decline of the residence is therefore inevitable. However, this domestic misfortune was actually brought about by丁 itself: 丁's lesson is in未, which overcomes the branch door from above, causing the day branch to turn towards卯 wood and form a wood group. This both supports my body and drains my residence. Supporting me is its good aspect; draining the residence is its dangerous aspect; both aspects are equally present, so good and bad are evenly divided. This lesson belongs to the "Circular Pattern," as the three transmissions are all within the four lessons, and they also meet the stem and branch, so it is not considered that the four lessons are incomplete. When predicting an evil event, the evil event will occur; when predicting a good event, the good event will happen. Both未 and卯 are superior gods overcoming inferior gods, so the method of involving harm is used to determine the initiating transmission. Although both未 and卯 belong to the overcoming within the four lessons, 未 is a superior position superior god that appears first, so this lesson also uses 未 as the initiating transmission.

斷曰：涉害之課，其機最深，類成木局，凡事叢雜，又名迴環。止宜守舊則吉，不可妄動。

Overall interpretation: The mechanism of the "Involving Harm" chart is most hidden and deep, and the three transmissions form a cluster of wood, leading to matters being complicated and confused. This chart is also called "Circular Return." It is most suitable to maintain the existing situation for good fortune, and one should not act hastily.

天時：木局主風。家宅：眷屬豐盈居狹宅，宜增修以廓充之。功名：官文兩旺，惟不利土年月時。求財：卯上有辛財，出旬可得。謁貴：晝占得貴人之力。婚姻：天后財神俱不出現，不必成。

Heavenly Time: Wood sign indicates wind. Family: The household is flourishing but the living space is narrow, so it is advisable to build or repair to expand the area. Official Rank: The official star and documents are both strong, but it is unfavorable for those belonging to the Earth element in the year, month, day or hour. Seeking Wealth: There is a metal treasure hidden at the卯 position, and it can be obtained after leaving this cycle. Seeking Nobleman: During the day, one can receive the assistance of a nobleman. Marriage: The Heavenly Empress and the Wealth God do not appear, so there is no need to proceed with the marriage.

胎產：女胎堅固，而產則難。疾病：中風之症，有餘之病，宜消道清理以治之。求謀：凡事可成。出行：貪戀家室，未必能行。失物：不遠。兵戰：彼此交通和好，大有輕裘緩帶之風。墳葬：支來生干，葬之大吉。

Pregnancy and childbirth: A female fetus is firmly seated, but labor is difficult. Disease: Conditions like stroke belong to diseases caused by excess evil qi; they should be treated with methods that eliminate and clear away the pathogenic factors. Seeking opportunities: All matters can be accomplished. Travel: Being attached to home and family may prevent one from going. Lost items: The lost item is not far away. Warfare: Both sides communicate and become friendly, showing a style of ease and composure, with a relaxed and unhurried manner. Burial: The day branch supports the day stem, so burial is very auspicious.

畢法云：眷屬豐盈居狹宅。指掌賦云：常貴共入官鄉，當朝執政。心印賦云：未卯亥為正陽，遵發生之意。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: "Relatives numerous yet dwelling in a narrow house," meaning many family members living in a small residence. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" says: When Tai Chang and the Nobleman both enter the official territory, it indicates holding power in the court. The "Xin Yin Fu" says: The branches Wei, Mao, and Hai are called "Zheng Yang," referring to their alignment with the principle of growth and development.

課體：重審，四絕。課義：交關且爾，妻財廢弛，祿既空亡，守之何裨。

The "Four Absolute" refers to both the heavenly stems and earthly branches being in the position of absolute decline. The meaning of the divination says: the horse (午) and the soil (未) are in a harmonious relationship, and the tiger (寅) and the pig (亥) are also in a harmonious relationship, with mutual connection and apparent stability. However, it is regrettable that the wife's wealth, represented by the metal of Geng, is weak and ineffective, while the禄神 (lucky god) has fallen into Kongwang, which is a void. Holding onto this situation offers no real benefit.

解曰：午與未合，寅與亥合，交關相合，非不美也。然寅上遁庚，為丁之妻財，今陷旬空，則廢弛而無用矣。午為日祿，又係空亡，守之究何益哉。中傳丑為干之脫氣，末傳申為干之病鄉，皆不可投。又申為丁財，既被初克，又被中墓，全無氣象。惟干上寅遁庚財，卻又陷空，故不利於求財。虎乘午為用，謂之白虎內戰，防有火災。

The combination of Wu and Wei is not favorable, and the combination of Yin and Hai is also not auspicious. However, the metal Geng hidden on Yin is the wife and wealth of the fire Ding. Now it is trapped in the void, thus losing its effectiveness. Wu is the禄神 of the day stem Ding, but it also meets the void, so what benefit is there in keeping it? The middle transmission You soil is a god that drains the energy of the day stem. The final transmission Shen metal is the disease place of the fire Ding. Both places are not suitable for reliance. Moreover, Shen is originally the wealth of Ding, but it is already overcome by the first transmission Wu fire and buried by the middle transmission You soil, thus having no life energy. Only the day stem Yin wood, which hides Geng metal as wealth, is also trapped in the void, so seeking wealth is not favorable. The White Tiger rides on Wu fire as the initiating transmission, which is called 'White Tiger fighting internally', indicating a risk of fire disaster.

斷曰：四絕之課，最宜結絕舊事。祿神落空，即居顯位，亦不免衿肘之患。惟年月太陽填實，方能豐富。

General interpretation: The four absolute divination lesson is most suitable for concluding old matters. The禄神 (favorable deity) falls intoKongwang (void), so even if one holds a prominent position, they will inevitably face difficulties and obstructions everywhere. Only when the sun of the year and month fills the void can there be prosperity and wealth.

天時：晝占主風，夜占主雨。家宅：人宅雖安，虛名虛利。功名：出旬填實，便有所望。求財：財氣甚微。婚姻：女占男吉，男卜女不吉。胎產：孕女，產不得順。疾病：白虎內戰，恐防增病，急求醫治。出行：交車合，恐不能起程。行人：自至。兵戰：無約而請和者，謀也，宜防虛詐。

Heavenly conditions: During the day, the divination indicates wind; at night, it indicates rain. Family residence: Although people and the house are safe, the gain is only empty fame and profit. Official rank: If the empty void is filled in this旬, there will be hope. Seeking wealth: The wealth is very weak. Marriage: If the woman divines for the man, it is favorable; if the man divines for the woman, it is unfavorable. Pregnancy and childbirth: The child is a girl, and the childbirth will be difficult. Disease: White Tiger internal conflict, there is a fear of new illness appearing, so one should seek medical treatment as soon as possible. Travel: If the vehicle is in harmony, there is a fear of not being able to move. Traveler: The person will return by themselves. Military conflict: If peace is requested without prior agreement, there is a plot, and one should be cautious of deceit.

畢法云：權攝不正祿臨支，前後引從升遷吉，將逢內占所謀危。精蘊云：初傳午居干後，末傳申居干前，亦為前後引從，主有升遷之象。

The *Bifa Fu* says: "A temporary authority lacks proper position, and the official of fortune falls into the day branch," meaning that the official of fortune is in the day branch, like acting on behalf of someone else with improper authority; "With guides preceding and following, promotion is auspicious," meaning that there are divine beings guiding and accompanying the day stem, indicating good fortune for promotion; "When the heavenly general meets an internal divination, the affairs are dangerous," meaning that the heavenly general is malevolent and the divination concerns internal matters, indicating danger in the affairs. The *Jingyun* says that if the first transmission is the horse (午) located after the day stem, and the final transmission is the monkey (申) located before the day stem, this also counts as having guides preceding and following, indicating a sign of promotion.

課體：反吟。課義：改變雙雙，丁馬俱張，論訟難訴，閉口為良。

The lesson says: Si belongs to two females, Hai belongs to two fish, so all things appear in pairs, and changes follow one after another. The Ding spirit and the Post-horse both become prominent, indicating strong movement. The Nobleman transforms into a ghost to attack, leading to disputes that are hard to resolve; it is better to remain silent.

解曰：巳為雙女，亥為雙魚，凡事主有重疊。且巳為驛馬，亥為丁神，往來交錯於三傳之中，主事有變動，禍福皆不單行也。貴人作鬼來克，論訟難以分訴。發用閉口，惟謹爾出話，以遠禍患，何用多其詞說為哉。干上丑，晝占上乘太陰，乃日干生其上神，上神又生天將，名脫上逢脫，多虛詐不實。

The branch Si belongs to the double female in the star sequence, and the branch Hai belongs to the double fish, so anything involved is likely to involve duplication and pairs. Additionally, Si is the post-horse and Hai is the Ding god, and when these two move back and forth in the three transmissions, it indicates that matters will change, and both misfortune and good fortune will not come alone. The nobleman transforms into an official ghost to come and control, making legal disputes difficult to resolve. The initiating transmission god becomes a closed mouth, so if one speaks cautiously, one can avoid trouble, and there is no need to speak much. The branch Chou earth on the day stem, during the day, is covered by Tai Yin, which is the day stem generating the upper god, and the upper god generating the heavenly general, called "escape from the upper and escape again," often involving false and untrustworthy matters.

斷曰：反吟之課，反覆變遷，事皆未定。巳亥相加，重求輕得之象。

General interpretation: Reverse Chant divination indicates that matters are subject to constant change and have not yet reached a conclusion. The combination of巳 and亥 suggests an effort made with great exertion but resulting in little gain.

天時：主晴。家宅：比劫既多，財難得聚。功名：日德作官，將乘貴人，朱雀丁神值之，不日升遷。求財：不得。謁貴：必兩三次，方能謁見。婚姻：晝占女子肥陋，夜占能飲。胎產：孕女不實。疾病：頭目之疾，或患寒熱勞病，大宜補火。出行：意在必行，從水路去。行人：不論遠近，指日可歸。逃盜：難捕。兵戰：以主勝客，拓地千里。

Heavenly Time: Indicates clear weather. Family Residence: There are too many spirits of equal rank and wealth robbers, making it difficult to accumulate wealth. Official Rank: The day's virtue acts as an official star, the Heavenly General is accompanied by the Nobleman, the Vermilion Bird and the Ding spirit are also involved, and promotion is expected within a few days. Seeking Wealth: Unable to obtain wealth. Seeking the Nobleman: Must visit several times before meeting. Marriage: If divined in the daytime, the woman is fat and unattractive; if divined at night, the woman can drink alcohol. Pregnancy: The child is a girl, with weak fetal energy. Disease: Illnesses related to the head and eyes, or a feverish illness with alternating chills and heat, which is most suitable for warm and fiery tonics. Travel: The mind is set on traveling, and it should be by water. Traveler: Regardless of the distance, the traveler will return within a few days. Fugitive: Difficult to capture. Military Conflict: The main army will defeat the guest army, and can conquer a thousand miles of land.

畢法云：鬼乘天乙乃神祇。指南：寅將加申占回奏，曰：龍神克戰，課將反吟，官難滿任。巳為驛馬，上乘皇詔，主一任未了，二任又臨，其降調乎。精蘊：占雨曰：丑為雨師，未為風伯，上乘常雀是無雨矣。三傳水火往來，乃陰晴不定之象。火在南為離，水在北為坎。訣曰：坎離交變，日出淋漓。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: "If the official ghost is riding on the Heavenly Ethereal, it becomes a deity." When the official ghost is accompanied by the Nobleman, the offense is against the divine. The "Zhi Nan" records a case where with the寅 general added to the申, the divination for returning to court and reporting back indicates: the dragon deity and the divine are in mutual control and conflict, the lesson and the Heavenly General also meet the Reverse Chant, indicating that the official's term will not be completed. The巳 is the Post-horse, with the imperial decree above it, indicating that the first term has not yet been completed, and the second term is already approaching, fearing a demotion and transfer. The "Jing Yun" records a divination about rain: the丑 is the Rain God, the未 is the Wind God, with the Tai Chang and Vermilion Bird above them, indicating no rain; the three transmissions involve water and fire moving back and forth, indicating an uncertain weather pattern; fire is in the south, belonging to the Li trigram, and water is in the north, belonging to the Kan trigram. The mnemonic says, "Kan and Li interact, the sun rises and rain pours," meaning that even when the sun comes out, it still rains.

課體：重審，鑄印，斬關。課義：壬辰及子，支干雙水，引從雖遠，虎墓宜視。

"Cast the seal," the three transmissions are巳, 戌, and 卯. 戌 is the seal and is placed above巳, like casting a seal to make an object, which is most favorable for seeking official positions and encountering nobility. The lesson says: the hidden壬water comes out from the day branch 辰, and the day stem has 子water; both the stem and branch belong to water and thus restrain the 丁fire. Although the initial and final transmissions form a connection, they are quite distant from each other. The墓of 辰 is occupied by the White Tiger, which requires careful examination.

解曰：干乘子水，支神遁壬亦水，兩水克干，丁火安能當其滅沒哉。初傳巳，末傳卯，引從支上辰在內，主遷修家宅之喜。但辰土臨亥為拱墓，而白虎凶神乘之，大宜詳審，不可輕動也。賴中傳戌蛇沖辰虎，方不為害。占人年命在戌上，謂之破墓沖虎。或居巳上，二戌沖辰，眾凶皆散也。

The day stem is covered by water from the zi water, and the day branch has the壬 water emerging, resulting in two layers of water that overcome the day stem. How can the ding fire withstand such a strong extinguishing force? The first transmission is si and the final transmission is mao, which surround the day branch's chen earth in front and behind, leading to a favorable omen of moving house or renovating a residence. However, the chen earth is combined with the hai water, forming a burial situation, and the white tiger evil spirit is riding upon it, so one must be especially cautious and not act hastily. Fortunately, the teng snake in the middle transmission on the xu position can break through the white tiger on the chen, thus avoiding harm. If the person's birth stem falls on xu, it is called 'breaking the burial and attacking the white tiger'; or if the birth stem falls on si, the two xus will attack the chen, and all the evils will disperse.

斷曰：鑄印之課，大宜求官見貴，君子占則吉。子水克丁，辰土克亥。若占官訟，必兩敗俱傷，所謂彼此全傷者也。

Overall interpretation: The casting of an official seal divination is most suitable for seeking official positions and encountering esteemed people; if a gentleman seeks this divination, it will be auspicious. However, the water of the branch 'Zi' overcomes the fire of 'Ding', and the earth of 'Chen' overcomes the water of 'Hai'. If this divination is used for legal matters, it will certainly result in mutual harm, which is what is meant by both parties suffering damage.

天時：大風無雨。家宅：身宅俱傷，惟貴家則吉，亦防孝服。功名：大吉。求財：可得，不宜取之太急。婚姻：女甚兇狠，成之不吉。胎產：主得貴子。謁貴：未必得見。疾病：腎水大虧，恐不能治。出行：墓神臨馬，不能動身。行人：即歸。失脫：可以尋見。兵戰：以主勝客，有萬里封侯之象。

Heavenly Conditions: Strong winds but no rain. Family Residence: Both body and house are damaged; only the wealthy will be fortunate, but also beware of mourning. Achievements: Very auspicious. Seeking Wealth: You can obtain it, but do not pursue it too urgently. Marriage: The woman is very fierce; getting married to her is not auspicious. Pregnancy: Indicates the birth of a noble son. Meeting Authorities: You may not meet them. Illness: Great deficiency of kidney water, possibly difficult to cure. Travel: The tomb god is suppressing the post-horse, making movement impossible. A Wayfarer: Will return soon. Lost Items: Can be found. Warfare: The main army will defeat the guest army, indicating a possibility of being awarded a marquisate a thousand miles away.

畢法云：支乘墓鬼有伏尸，彼此全傷防兩損，制鬼之位乃良醫。占驗：九月辰將加亥占病曰：課得鑄印，占病不吉。兩蛇夾墓，白虎入宅。支墓臨支克支，三日內必死。課經：未年二月，戌將加巳，亥命占功名，曰：歲月日命馬俱在巳，發用又遇天魁太常，為官爵課，無官得官，有官進爵。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "When the branch is riding on the tomb ghost, there are hidden corpses in the house." If the day branch is riding on the tomb ghost, there are hidden corpses in the house causing disturbances. "When both sides are completely injured, be cautious of mutual damage." Both sides suffer injuries, so be careful of mutual harm. "The position that controls the ghost is the good doctor." The position that can control the official ghost is where the good doctor is located. The attached divination verification: In the ninth month, using the辰 general added to亥 to divinate illness, the interpretation said the lesson formed the casting seal, which is not auspicious for illness; two snakes enclosing the tomb, the white tiger also entering the house; the tomb spirit of the day branch is added to the day branch and overcomes it, death will certainly occur within three days. The "Ke Jing" records: In the second month of the year of Wei, using the戌 general added to巳, a person born in the year of Hai divined about official rank, the interpretation said that the sovereign, month builder, day branch, personal destiny, and post-horse all gathered on巳, and the initiating transmission also met Tian Gui and Tai Chang, which is an official rank lesson. Those without official rank can obtain it, and those with official rank can advance in rank.

課體：重審，曲直，不備，迴環。課義：人豐宅隘，後失倚賴，三傳皆空，晝將駔儈。

"Reversal" refers to the three transmissions not going beyond the four lessons. The meaning of the lesson states: the three transmissions are in the wood cycle, generating me but also draining the dwelling, hence the people and households are flourishing but the dwellings are narrow; later on, one will lose the person relied upon, because the three transmissions successively fall into emptiness; the heavenly general during the day is like a market broker, appearing to help but actually deceiving secretly.

解曰：支來克干，為上門亂首。但亥卯未合為木局，生干脫宅，是人豐宅隘也。殊不知未亥皆空，而亥乃晝貴，既陷空地，後必失其倚賴矣。晝將皆土，又來脫干，特假三傳之生，以暗肆其欺罔，非駔儈而何。卯為於之父母，乘太常臨支，宅中必有婚禮之喜。或開設布帛酒食店肆，後必長進。迴環之格，三傳不離四課，凡事可成，惟不宜解釋憂疑。亥加未，酉加巳，兩貴立受克之方，難以干貴。

The day branch is being overcome by the day stem, which is called "upstairs disordering the head." However, the three branches亥, 卯, and 未 form a wooden trinity, which generates and supports the day stem but also drains the residence. Therefore, there will be many people in the household but the house is small. But it is not known that both 未 and 亥 fall into kongwang, and 亥 is actually the nobleman of the day. Since the nobleman is in kongwang, there will certainly be a loss of support in the future. The heavenly generals of the day are all of earth nature, and they also drain the energy of the day stem. Although they appear to support the day stem through the three transmissions, they actually deceive secretly. This is nothing but a broker or a merchant. 卯 is the parent爻 of the day stem, and it is accompanied by tai chang and rests on the day branch. Therefore, there will certainly be joy from marriage in the house, or a shop dealing in silk and wine and food, and there will be progress in the future. This is a circular pattern. The three transmissions do not go beyond the four lessons, so all matters can be accomplished, but it is not suitable for explaining doubts and fears. 亥 is placed on 未 and 酉 is placed on 巳, and these two noblemen are in positions of being overcome, making it difficult to rely on them for help.

斷曰：三傳曲直逢空，有材大而不中繩墨之象。事從內起，禍由婦人，止宜守舊，不宜動作謀為。

Overall interpretation: The three transmissions form a curved and straight wooden structure yet encounter kongwang, resembling large timber that does not fit the measuring rope and rules. The matter originates internally, with the trouble stemming from a woman. It is advisable to maintain the existing situation and avoid any actions or plans.

天時：有雷無雨。家宅：平常，守舊則吉。功名：有文無官，冬季占則吉。求財：卯遁辛財，取之自獲。謁貴：兩貴受克，難於干貴。婚姻：女益男家，或繫舊親，成之吉。胎產：女胎不育。疾病：肝病，宜祈禱。求謀：止宜文書尊長之事。出行：未必遂意。行人：卯為門戶，末傳臨之，行人至門。兵戰；中止之象。

Heavenly conditions: Thunder occurs but no rain. Family home: Ordinary and unremarkable, but auspicious if one remains conservative. Career: There are documents but no official stars, which is auspicious in winter. Seeking wealth: The metal of辛 gold escapes through the卯 position, so one can naturally obtain wealth. Seeking the nobleman: Both noblemen are afflicted, making it difficult to rely on a nobleman for affairs. Marriage: The woman benefits the man's family, or it is an old acquaintance, and the marriage is auspicious. Pregnancy: A female fetus is not viable. Illness: A disease of the liver, which is suitable for prayer. Seeking strategies: It is only suitable for matters related to documents and superiors. Traveling: It is unlikely to be satisfactory. A traveler: The卯 represents the gate, and the final transmission is directly above it, indicating that the traveler has already reached the gate. Military conflict: There is an appearance of ceasing battle midway.

畢法云：鬼乘天乙乃神祇，兩貴受克難干貴，眷屬豐盈居狹宅。指掌賦云：未亥卯為從吉，待時而動。又云：大吉小吉作勾陳，鬥爭田地。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: "Ghost riding the Heavenly Ethical (Tian Yi) becomes a deity," meaning that official ghosts riding the nobleman indicate the matter involves divine beings; "Two noblemen being overcome find it hard to rely on noblemen," meaning that when two noblemen are defeated, it is difficult to depend on noblemen for affairs; "Numerous family members living in a narrow house," meaning many family members reside in a small dwelling. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" says: the branches Wei, Hai, and Mao are called "From Good," and one should wait for the right opportunity before taking action; it also says: Daji (Chou) and Xiaoji (Wei) with Gou Chen on top indicate disputes over land.

課體：昴星，斬關，炎上。課義：四虎來咥，宜守術業，火局臨木，受用不乏。

"The昴星" lesson has no mutual control among the four lessons and no remote control. On a yang day, the god at You (酉) is used as the initiating transmission; this lesson is also called "White Tiger Watching." "Inflaming Ascendancy" refers to the three transmissions forming a fire trinity with Yin, Wu, and Xu. The lesson meaning says: four white tigers open their mouths to bite; it is only suitable to guard one's skills and profession for a living; the fire trinity presses upon wood, and wood can generate fire, so enjoyment will not be lacking.

解曰：兩寅乘虎，共四虎也，凡占至驚至危。戌墓乘蛇后臨干，凶而不可守也。初傳午祿，雖為旬空，賴龍合木將生之。又龍合為術業，故為可守。火局臨於木上，木能生火，其生自不能已矣。且火能生干上神之土，而土生寅遁之庚，支財受用，豈得空乏哉。

There are two tigers on the寅, and together with others, there are four tigers in total. Any divination with such a configuration is extremely alarming and dangerous. The戌 is theStorage of丁 fire, and it also carries the Teng Snake, Heavenly Empress, and is overlaid on the day stem, making it very dangerous and unable to be defended. The first transmission is 午 fire, which is the禄神 of丁, although it falls into the旬空, it is entirely supported by the Azure Dragon and Liu He, two wood nature heavenly generals that nourish it. The Azure Dragon and Liu He also govern the arts and crafts industry, so this place can still be held. The fire element is pressed upon the wood, and wood can nourish fire, so this nourishing trend naturally cannot be stopped. Moreover, fire can nourish the earth god on the day stem, and earth can nourish the庚 metal that has escaped from寅, so the wealth on the day branch can be obtained, and there will be no shortage.

斷曰：虎視之課，發用無力，百凡未得稱心。華蓋覆日，又日生上神，主虛費百出，昏沉不樂。孤辰發傳，主人有別離。

Overall interpretation: In the Tiger Watching chart, the initiating transmission lacks strength, leading to dissatisfaction in all matters. The Huagai deity covers the day stem, and the day stem generates the deity above it, indicating frequent losses, mental confusion, and unhappiness. The Guchen deity enters the three transmissions, suggesting separation in human affairs.

天時：主晴。家宅：昴星逢蛇虎，必多怪異虛驚。功名：龍化為蛇，日漸蕭索。求財：寅上遁庚，雖得亦驚危之財。謁貴：無力。婚姻：女淫而惡，不可成。胎產：男孕，產時恐有驚危。疾病：年命遇辰，尚可望生，餘難救。出行：干支俱生上神，防有失脫。行人：中傳空亡，半途有阻。爭訟：以凶制凶，反可為福。盜逃：中途匿藏。兵戰：彼此相持，兵連禍結。

Heavenly conditions: indicate clear weather. Family home: the昴star lesson meets Teng Snake and White Tiger, which will surely bring many strange occurrences and unnecessary frights. Achieving fame: Azure Dragon transforms into Teng Snake, leading to gradual decline and coldness. Seeking wealth: the庚metal escapes from寅, although wealth can be obtained, it is accompanied by anxiety. Seeking officials: no effectiveness. Marriage: the woman is lustful and evil-minded, so the marriage cannot be successful. Pregnancy: the child is a boy, but there may be danger during childbirth. Disease: if the person's destiny meets the辰earth, there is still hope for recovery, but otherwise, it is difficult to save. Traveling: the day stem and day branch both go to generate the heavenly spirits above, causing the energy to leak outward, so theft should be guarded against. A traveler: the middle transmission falls into Kongwang, so there will be obstacles on the way. Disputes: using violence to suppress violence may turn into good fortune. Theft and escape: the person who ran away has hidden halfway. Warfare: both sides are in a stalemate, leading to continuous conflicts and disasters.

畢法云：避難逃生須棄舊，虎視逢虎力難施，華蓋覆日人昏晦。秘要云：干上墓不可守，遂投初祿，卻值旬空。棄祿再歸干墓，終不可受。又投末傳長生，奈逢白虎，止宜困守宅中，受驚危之長生耳，是謂避難逃生。

The *Bifa Fu* says: "To avoid danger and escape, one must abandon the old," meaning that to evade disaster and preserve life, one must give up previous conditions; "A tiger watching meets a tiger, strength cannot be exerted," meaning that when a lesson with the昴 star (tiger watching) meets the White Tiger, power cannot be effectively used; "Huagai covers the sun, people are confused and unclear," meaning that when the Huagai star covers the day stem, human affairs become obscure and unclear. The *Miyao* says: if the day stem is on aStorage (storage), it cannot be held onto, so one turns to the first transmission's禄神 (favorable god), but again encounters the旬空 (empty period); abandoning the禄神 and returning to the day stem's墓, one ultimately cannot benefit; then turning to the final transmission'sGrowth (growth), but again meets the White Tiger. Thus, one can only remain confined at home, enduring a constant state of anxiety and fear, which is called avoiding danger and escaping.

課體：重審，間傳，極陰。課義：自用傳辰，禮下於人，財為破碎，妻婢傷身。

"Extreme Yin" refers to the three transmissions moving backward to the most Yin position, which are Chou, Hai, and You. The lesson states: the lesson originates from the day stem and transmits toward the day branch, indicating that I have a request for others, and thus must lower my posture and treat them with courtesy; the wealth hexagram also carries the破碎 gold煞, meaning that the wife and servant women become the root of harm to oneself.

解曰：干傳干支，蓋我有求於彼，自不得不禮下於人也。干上發用兩酉，妻婢之象，乘破碎金煞，且火死於酉，絕於亥。丑加亥為遺洩，必因妻婢以喪敗其身也，占者可以知所戒矣。占人年命在申，貴人拱定，必得兩貴成就其事。日上見財，主妻不安，財不聚，末助初財，占婚尤的。丑加亥，夜乘太常，凡有求望，必涉水過橋。

The divination course flows from the day stem to the day branch, indicating that the seeker is seeking something from the other party, thus naturally having to lower their posture and show respect. The initiating transmission on the day stem shows two You, which represent the wife and servant, and they are accompanied by the Shattered Metal calamity. Moreover, the fire element Ding is in the state of death in You and in the state of extinction in Hai. The branch Chou is placed on Hai, indicating a leakage, showing that it must be due to the wife and servant that the seeker's fortune is ruined. The diviner can thus know what to be cautious about. If the diviner's own birth stem is Shen, the two noblemen are supporting and enclosing, ensuring that the matter will be completed by the two noblemen together. Seeing wealth on the day stem indicates that the wife is unstable and wealth cannot be retained; the final transmission supporting the initial transmission of wealth is especially accurate when divining about marriage. Chou placed on Hai, with the Tai Chang deity present at night, indicates that any request or hope must be achieved by crossing water and bridges.

斷曰：重審之卦，貴人差迭，凡事少喜多嗔。三傳又名極陰，而逢間傳，進中有阻，事體不甚明白。

Overall interpretation: The review of the course shows the nobleman appearing in a wrong order, leading to less joy and more anger in all matters. The three transmissions are also called "extreme yin," and they meet the condition of passing by position, with obstacles in the forward movement, making the matters unclear all along.

天時：主晴。家宅：間傳凝陰，昏滯酒色，若年命上乘陽明之神，便可轉凶為吉。功名：功名順利，初時不無所費。求財：宜得貴人之財，但有分耗之者。謁貴：宜專心歸一，莫使尖擔兩頭脫。婚姻：可成，美而且賢，且日後家道隆盛。胎產：女孕，亦易產。求謀：百事可成。疾病：洩瀉虛癆之症，求西北方醫之則吉。出行：水陸皆通，前途無礙。行人：即歸。逃亡：自歸。兵戰：無意於爭，終歸和解。

Heavenly conditions: Favorable for clear weather. Family affairs: The influence spreads through the opposite position, with condensed yin energy causing people to feel drowsy and indulge in wine and women; if the person's destiny is supported by the Yangming deity, misfortune can be turned into good fortune. Achievements: Success in official matters is smooth, but initial efforts may involve some expense. Seeking wealth: It is advisable to seek wealth along the path of the nobleman, but someone may take a portion away. Seeking officials: One should focus on one direction, avoiding the situation of being stretched too thin. Marriage: It can be successful, with the woman being both beautiful and virtuous, and the family's fortune will flourish in the future. Pregnancy: The child is a girl, and childbirth will be easy. Seeking strategies: All matters can be accomplished. Illness: Suffering from diarrhea or weakness, seeking medical help in the northwest is favorable. Travel: Both water and land routes are open, with no obstacles ahead. Travelers: Will return soon. Runaways: The person who ran away will return by themselves. Warfare: There was no intention to fight, but eventually peace is reached.

畢法云：晝夜貴加求兩貴，我求彼事干傳支，鬼乘天乙乃神祇。古鑑：亥生人，五月申將加午占前程，曰：破碎加干，必因費財得官。九丑在宅，主淫亂。在本命，主貪色。末傳又見丑作陰加在官星。太陰者，陰晦也，當因色而死。

The "Bifa Fu" states: "Day and night, the nobleman should be combined with two noblemen," meaning that during the day and night, the nobleman should be combined with two noblemen, allowing one to seek help from two noblemen at the same time; "I seek another's matter through the transmission and branch," meaning that the course of the divination starts from the day stem and transmits to the day branch, indicating that I am seeking help from others; "The ghost rides the heavenly yi and becomes a deity," meaning that if the official ghost is riding the nobleman, the offense is related to the divine. The "Gujian" records a case: a person born in the year of亥, used the hour of申 as the general in May to divinate about his future. The divination said: the broken fragment evil star is added to the day stem, indicating that he must spend money to obtain official position; the nine shame god is in the residence, indicating that there is disorder in the family, if it falls on his own birth year, it indicates that he himself is lustful; the final transmission also shows the丑 branch with the Tai Yin riding on it and added to the official star, Tai Yin is dark and obscure, indicating that this person will die due to female lust.
