課體：伏吟，自任，元胎。課義：連名狀論，臺閣上言，我求於彼，順受和焉。

The lesson pattern is "Hidden Chant" (Heaven Plate and Earth Plate overlap, all deities remain still). On a yang day, the deity above the day stem initiates the transmission, named "Self-assignment." The three transmissions are all the four young months of寅, 申, 巳, and 亥, named "Original Fetus." The lesson meaning says: the three transmissions successively control each other, indicating that someone is making false accusations against me; officials should also beware of officials from the ministry and council submitting memorials for impeachment. The transmission from the day stem to the day branch indicates that I am seeking help from others, and I should only accept it calmly, eventually leading to reconciliation.

解曰：初克中，中克末，末克干，三傳遞克，平日所為兇橫，被人連名攻訐也。仕途則防臺閣上言，宜自檢束。自干傳支，為我有求於彼，雖彼遞相剋制而來，我惟順以受之。末助初生，終歸於和而後已焉。

The first transmission controls the middle transmission, the middle transmission controls the final transmission, and the final transmission again controls the day stem. The three transmissions control each other in succession, indicating that one has been acting aggressively and arrogantly, thus inviting collective criticism from others. For those in official positions, one should beware of accusations from officials in the imperial court and should be self-disciplined. Since the transmission goes from the day stem to the day branch, it suggests that I am seeking something from the other party. Although the other party controls step by step, I can only submit and accept. In the end, the final transmission supports the first transmission, leading to a return to harmony.

斷曰：此自任之卦，課傳皆孟，格合元胎，有屈而不伸，伏而未發之象。事多闇昧，守正而靜則亨，妄為而動則滯。又三傳自內向外，迤邐遞克，直至於干，其勢可畏。喜中傳折腰，末助初生，禍或中止，而反得陰助也。

This is a self-initiated divination. All four lessons and three transmissions fall on the four young months of寅, 申, 巳, and 亥. The structure aligns with the original and fetal stage, indicating an image of being bent but not extending, and being hidden and not yet revealed. Matters are mostly obscure and unclear. If one remains upright and quiet, it will be smooth; if one acts recklessly, it will be blocked. Moreover, the three transmissions proceed from inside out, winding and successively overcoming each other, eventually overcoming the day stem. The situation is formidable. Fortunately, the middle transmission lacks strength to bend, and the final transmission revives the initial transmission, so the calamity may stop midway, and instead receive secret assistance.

天時：晝占無雨，夜占有雨而尚遠。家宅：晝占有火燭驚怪，夜占安穩。婚姻：夜占可成，防女不永。胎產：晝占有驚，夜占生男。功名：宜蔭職，餘防被劾。求財：艱難，夜占可得。

Heavenly Conditions: Divination during the day indicates no rain in the daytime, but rain will come at night, though it is still far off. Family Affairs: Divination during the day suggests fire and candle-related misfortunes and strange occurrences within the household, but during the night it indicates peace and stability. Marriage: Divination at night suggests that this marriage will be successful, but one should be cautious about the wife not being able to live together until old age. Pregnancy: Divination during the day indicates a troubled pregnancy, but during the night suggests the birth of a son. Official Rank: It is only suitable to rely on ancestral blessings to obtain an official position, and one should be cautious about being accused by others otherwise. Wealth Seeking: Wealth comes with difficulty, and only through divination at night can one obtain it.

投謁：半途而廢。疾病：猝病凶，久病無妨。失脫：家內人盜竊，逃者隱鄉鄰。出行：夜占及申年月宜。行人：中路被阻，出旬始至。爭訟：始干眾怒，終得解。兵戰：不利，宜靜以待動。

Seeking an audience: The journey is half-hearted and does not reach the end. Illness: Sudden illness is dangerous, but prolonged illness is not a problem. Loss: It is theft by a family member, and the person who ran away is hiding with neighbors. Travel: Traveling at night or during the year or month of Shen is favorable. Travelers: They will encounter obstacles on the way and will arrive only after the current ten-day period. Disputes: Initially offending many people, but eventually resolved. Military conflict: Unfavorable, it is better to remain quiet and wait for the opponent to act first.

畢法云：我求彼事干傳支，三傳互克眾人欺。秘要云：寅能助初生干，亦能克干，是兩面刀。指南：癸酉六月未時，占官曰：斗罡居支前，傳課刑剋，蛇鬼入宅，龍神傷歲，當防彈章，人秋果被劾解任。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When seeking help from others, look at the day stem's transmission to the day branch; if the three transmissions mutually control each other, it indicates being bullied by many people. The "Miyao" says: The wood of Yin can both help the first transmission to support the day stem and reverse to control the day stem, like a double-edged sword. The "Lunin Zhi Nan" records: In the Guiyou year, sixth month, sixth hour, a divination about official position was made, and the interpretation said: The Tiangang (Chen) is located before the day branch, with the four lessons and three transmissions involved in mutual punishments and controls, the ghost ridden by Teng Snake enters the house, and the Azure Dragon injures the sovereign year. One should be cautious of impeachment documents. Indeed, after autumn, he was impeached and relieved of his post.

課體：知一，退茹，斬關，重陰，三奇。課義：三奇六儀，凡謀可施，稍嫌幽暗，斬關晝馳。

The lesson pattern is "Zhi Yi" (the four lessons contain two pairs of similar elements that mutually control each other; the one that harmonizes with the day stem is used as the initiating transmission). The three transmissions are in reverse and connected, called "Tui Ru." The constellation Doukui is placed on the position of Chen and used as the initiating transmission, called "Zhan Guan." When the yin spirits overlap, it is called "Chong Yin." If the ten days' concealment includes Ji, Bing, and Ding, it is called "San Qi." The lesson meaning says: when San Qi and the six instruments are complete, any plan can be carried out; only the burial spirit covering the sun and the slight darkness are worrying; since it is a Zhan Guan lesson, during the day it is suitable for advancing swiftly.

解曰：三傳四課，凡歷戌亥子丑寅卯辰，旬首是戌，既為旬儀矣。而亥子丑遁為天上乙丙丁三奇，戌寅辰又遁為地上甲戊庚三奇，是三奇六儀，全入課傳。凡有謀為，可以任其施展矣。稍嫌墓神覆日，不免幽暗不明耳。然斬關之課，晝占喜天乙神光乘丁而臨天梁，天后掌華蓋掩形，太陰主潛藏隱匿，可以疾馳萬里，尚何阻隔之有哉：

The three transmissions and four lessons pass through the seven positions of Xu, Hai, Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, and Chen. The beginning of this ten-day period is Xu, which is one of the six instruments. The three positions of Hai, Zi, and Chou in the ten-day cycle correspond to the three marvels, which are the heavenly three marvels of Yi, Bing, and Ding. The three positions of Xu, Yin, and Chen in the ten-day cycle correspond to the three marvels on the earth, which are Jia, Wu, and Geng. All the three marvels and six instruments fall into the four lessons and three transmissions. Whenever there is a plan, it can be carried out freely. However, the tomb god covers the day stem, which may cause obscurity. But this is a cutting gate lesson. For daytime divination, it is favorable when the nobleman, Tianyi, rides on the Ding god and arrives at the Tianliang position. The 'Heavenly Empress' (one of the twelve heavenly generals, governing private affairs and women) uses Huagai to conceal the form. The 'Tai Yin' (one of the twelve heavenly generals, governing darkness and concealment) oversees concealment and hiding. This is precisely the time for swift travel over ten thousand miles; what obstruction could there be?

斷曰：此知一之卦，連茹退傳，格合重陰，事起同類。狐疑不定，六合並臨，天關天后，傳歸元武，有奸私闇昧之象。干支墓覆，人宅俱昏，惟冬月占之，百凡順利。

This is a lesson of knowledge one, with a reverse transmission of connected trigrams, forming a structure of heavy yin. The matter is initiated by people of the same kind. There is inner doubt. The "Liu He" (one of the twelve heavenly generals, governing marriage and trade) is present together, along with the heavenly gate and heavenly empress. The three transmissions return to the black tortoise, indicating a hidden and secretive situation. Both the day stem and day branch are covered by the tomb god, making both person and dwelling dim and unclear. Only when divined in the winter month will all matters proceed smoothly.

天時：陰雨多。家宅：主昏暗，有逃亡者。婚姻：美中不足。胎產：胎氣旺，或繫私孕。功名：主有奇遇。求財：有獲，防被盜竊。疾病：得之色孟，留連未愈。失脫：宜尋。出行：利避難速行。行人：關津有阻。爭訟：有解。兵戰：晝夜不寧。

Heavenly conditions: There will be more rain and clouds. Home: The house is dark, and someone has gone away. Marriage: Although good, it is not perfect. Pregnancy: The fetus is strong, perhaps a secret pregnancy. Fame and status: There will be unexpected events. Seeking wealth: There will be some gain, but beware of theft. Disease: The illness comes from improper relations with women, and it will be prolonged. Lost items: Suitable for searching. Travel: Suitable for avoiding danger, the faster the better. Travelers: Blocked at a pass or ferry. Disputes: There is hope for reconciliation. Warfare: Unrest will continue day and night.

畢法云：后合占婚豈用媒，魁度天門關隔定。課經云：干為夫，支為妻，豈宜上乘六合，以應私情。曾門定章云：戊己之辰可逃亡，再得天上三奇乙丙丁者，追之不得。照膽秘訣云：除定開危卯未方，龍常陰合可逃藏。

The Bi Fa Fu says: When the Heavenly Empress and Liu He are both present, marriage is decided without the need for a matchmaker; when Hekui is placed at the Heavenly Gate, the pass is cut off. The Ke Jing says: The Day Stem represents the husband, and the Day Branch represents the wife; how can they be in harmony with Liu He, which indicates secret affection. The Zeng Men Ding Zhang says: On Wu and Ji days, the position of Chen is suitable for escape; if further aided by the three marvels of heavenly generals Yi, Bing, and Ding, one cannot be recovered. The Zhao Dan Mi Jie says: On days of Chu, Ding, Kai, and Wei, one should move towards the directions of Mao and Wei; the heavenly generals Qinglong, Tai Chang, Tai Yin, and Liu He can all take refuge.

課體：重審，間傳，極陰，三奇，龍戰，勵德。課義：我就他侮，他中我計，天道好還，子卯狠戾。

The lesson pattern is a re-examination. The three transmissions are spaced apart and move backward through the names of the transmissions, moving backward until they reach the extreme of yin energy, known as "extreme yin." The ten-day cycle reveals the three marvels. The year and destiny are at卯 and酉, known as "dragon battle." The nobleman is positioned at卯 and酉, and the transmission of the ten-day cycle initiates, known as "cultivating virtue." The meaning of the lesson says: I actively accommodate him, but he wrongs me; yet he also falls into my trap. The way of heaven is cyclical and retributive. The harsh and cruel energy between子 and卯 will eventually return to oneself.

解曰：以干就支，戊受寅克，誠為所侮矣。殊不知戊課在巳，巳火反脫寅木之氣，豈非中計而不覺乎。子卯固無禮相刑，寅來刑巳，丑亦去刑戌。天道好還，狠戾還得狠戾之報也。干支互坐墓上，必是愚人，主彼此各招昏晦。餘傳內雖有所喜之神，或年命上神克去，乃是心多懶退，不肯向前。

The day stem is adjusted to match the day branch, and the戊 earth stem is attacked by the寅 wood, which indeed shows being oppressed. However, the deity of the day for戊 day is in巳, and the巳 fire actually dispels the strength of the寅 wood, meaning the opponent has fallen into a trap without realizing it. The子 and卯 are naturally in conflict, and the寅 also attacks the巳, while the丑 attacks the戌. The natural order of heaven will return the same, and those who are cruel will eventually face cruel consequences. When the day stem and day branch are both in their墓 positions, it indicates a foolish person, leading to mutual confusion and darkness. Although there may be favorable deities in the other transmissions, if they are attacked by the deities of the year and destiny, it shows a lack of initiative and reluctance to move forward.

斷曰：此重審之卦，間傳退逆，格合極陰。上下不順，賓主失和，修德則升，悖理則斥。若年命更在卯酉，為龍戰之象，主身心疑惑，進退乖離。惟旬奇玉堂發用，足以災致福。

This is a review divination, with intermittent transmission in reverse retreat, the structure aligning with extreme yin. Above and below do not follow each other, host and guest are at odds; cultivating virtue leads to advancement, while violating reason results in dismissal. If the year and destiny fall in卯 or酉, it indicates a dragon battle, leading to mental confusion and indecision in action. Fortunately, the odd god of this week and the Jade Hall丑 earth initiate transmission, capable of transforming misfortune into blessing.

天時：陰晦寒冱。家宅：人口不安，宜祈土神。婚姻：主為養媳，或夫不愛。胎產：晝占生男。功名：占弟兄，主有奇遇，顯官更有升擢，卑秩不利。求財：得之不光明，終被耗脫。疾病：不妨。失脫：難得，逃亡自歸。出行：不利。行人：有阻。爭訟：主為田土、文書遭貴怒，後有解。兵戰：不利。

Heavenly Conditions: The weather is gloomy and dark, with severe cold. Family: The household is unsettled, and it is advisable to pray to the earth god. Marriage: It often indicates marrying a child bride, or the husband does not love his wife. Pregnancy: A day divination suggests a male child. Officialdom: Divination concerning brothers indicates a strange encounter; a prominent official may have promotion, but a low-ranking official will have difficulties. Seeking Wealth: The source of income is not clear, and eventually it will be lost. Disease: No harm. Loss: Difficult to recover; a person who has run away will return on their own. Travel: Unfavorable. Travelers: Obstacles on the way. Disputes: Mostly concerning land or documents, angering the nobleman; there will be reconciliation later. Warfare: Unfavorable.

畢法云：賓主不投刑在上，人宅坐墓甘招晦。課經云：干上卯，晝將朱雀作日鬼，名雀鬼格。在朝防彈章，且不宜上書言事，反受黜責。心印賦云：朱雀剋日事紛紜，望事求財總不成。玉成歌云：卯乘前二招唇吻，天空立用事無憑。

The "Bifa Fu" says: If the guest and host do not harmonize, it is because of the刑克 (punishment and restriction) in the upper position; when a person and the house share the sameTomb Spirit (grave spirit), it can only invite darkness and confusion. The "Ke Jing" says: When the day stem has the卯 (Mao), the morning general Vermilion Bird (Vermilion Bird) acts as the official ghost of the day stem, known as the "Què Guǐ gé" (Vermilion Bird Official Ghost pattern); in the morning court, one should beware of accusations and should not submit petitions, as it may lead to demotion. The "Xinyin Fu" says: When Vermilion Bird (Vermilion Bird) overcomes the day stem, affairs become chaotic and confused, and seeking matters or wealth will all fail. The "Yucheng Ge" says: When 卯 (Mao) is combined with Vermilion Bird (Vermilion Bird), it brings disputes and conflicts; if "Tiankong" (Sky Void, one of the twelve heavenly generals, governing falsehood and unreliability) is used, then the matter cannot be trusted.

課體：元首，元胎，不備，亂首。課義：兩位空申，豈勝四寅，守動皆禍，晝夜貴嗔。

The lesson pattern is "Original Head" (among the four lessons, only the upper god conquers the lower god, taking the initiating transmission). The three transmissions are all named "Initial Fetus" (four young ones). The four lessons are insufficient for four positions, named "Incomplete." The day branch approaches the day stem and conquers the stem, named "Disordered Head." The lesson meaning says: two Shens of metal fall into Kongwang, how can they contend with four real Yins of wood officials and ghosts; staying still brings misfortune, moving also brings misfortune; the two noblemen of day and night both wish to be angry.

解曰：支臨干而克干，乃是上門亂首，所恃者申金為救耳。然寅聚四鬼為朋，雖有兩申　卻值旬空，以兩位之空神，豈能勝四寅之實鬼耶。守之固坐受其殃，動則又逢初傳之克，皆不免於禍患也。晝夜貴人臨於罡魁，謂之入獄，干之必生嗔怒。

The day branch is on top of the day stem and also attacks the stem, which is called entering the gate and causing confusion at the beginning. The only support available is the metal of Shen to attack the wood of Yin and save the day. However, the wood of Yin has gathered into four official ghosts forming a group, although there are two Shens, they are exactly in the empty period. How can two empty spirits overcome four real Yin ghosts? Staying still will result in suffering, and moving will meet the first transmission attacking, inevitably leading to disaster. The nobleman is present on the Tiangang Chen and Hekui Xu, called being imprisoned, and seeking help from the nobleman will certainly provoke anger.

斷曰：此元首之卦。四孟出傳，格合元胎，合中有破，日遭辰克，有俯就他人之象。

This is a lesson of the sovereign. The deities of the four first months appear in the three transmissions, and the structure aligns with the beginning of life, yet there is a sense of damage within the combination. The day stem is overcome by the day branch, indicating an image of bowing down and yielding to others.

天時：先風後雨，冬占有雪霰。家宅：宅旺人弱。婚姻：夜占町用，主贅婿他家。胎產：平安，晝占生男。功名：申年月占者有成。求財：有得，不能安享。投謁：始雖交歡，終必吳越。

Heavenly Conditions: First there is wind, then rain; in winter, it indicates snowflakes. Family Residence: The residence's energy is flourishing, but the population is declining. Marriage: It is suitable for night divination, indicating a man marrying into a woman's family. Pregnancy and Childbirth: Safe and peaceful; daytime divination indicates the birth of a son. Achieving Success: Those divined in the year and month of Shen will achieve success. Seeking Wealth: Although some gain is obtained, it cannot be enjoyed in peace. Seeking an Audience: At first there is cordiality, but eventually it will turn into enmity like Wu and Yue.

疾病：主驚恐　老人、小兒甚凶。失脫：難得，逃亡不返。出行：不果，出亦不利。行人：未動身，申年月占在道。爭訟：中有人兩地指唆。兵戰：晝占不利，夜占吉。

Disease: The patient suffers greatly from fright and fear, especially dangerous for the elderly and children. Loss: Things are difficult to find, and those who have run away will not return. Travel: The journey will not succeed in the end, and even if one tries to go, there will be no benefit. Traveler: The person has not yet started moving; if the divination is done in the year or month of Shen, then the person is already on the way. Dispute: There is someone in the middle who goes back and forth between the two sides, inciting trouble. Military conflict: It is unfavorable if divined during the day, but favorable if divined at night.

畢法云：合中犯煞蜜中砒。吳越春秋：吳王孟赦越王，越王喜，范蠡占曰：戊，囚日也，功曹為螣蛇臨戊，青龍在勝光臨酉，死氣也。時克其日，用又助之，天網四張，萬物盡傷，王何喜焉。子胥果諫，復囚石室。精蘊：寅加巳，占婚曰：四課雖是互合，卻不喜末傳之申作天后來剋日上之寅。寅鬼，夫也。青龍亦為夫，受後之克，夫妻不睦之象，且陽不備，必然剋夫。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: When favorable combinations are mixed withInauspicious Sha, it is like adding arsenic to honey. The "Wuyue Chunqiu" records: King Wu of Wu was about to pardon King Yue, and King Yue was very happy. Fan Li cast a divination and said: Wu is a day of imprisonment; Gongcao, the寅 wood, transforms into Teng Snake and falls on Wu. Qinglong falls on Shengguang, the午, and also falls on You. These are all signs of death qi. The hour branch overcomes the day branch, and the useful god comes to assist. The heavenly net spreads on all sides, and all things are harmed. What is there to be happy about, great king? Later, Wu Zǐxū indeed advised against it, and King Yue was once again imprisoned in a stone chamber. The "Liu Ren Jing Yun" records: When寅 is added to巳 for a marriage divination, it is interpreted as: Although the four lessons are mutually harmonious, it is not favorable that the final transmission, the申 metal, transforms into Heavenly Empress to overcome the day stem's寅 wood.寅 represents official ghost, which stands for husband; Qinglong also represents husband. Now it is overcome by Heavenly Empress, which is a sign of marital discord. Plus the yang lesson is incomplete, it is certain to cause harm to the husband.

課體：重審，炎上，泆女，斬關。課義：虎鬼夜潛，斬關晝占，我旺彼敗，屋破人添。

The lesson pattern is a re-examination. The three transmissions are Yin, Wu, and Xu, forming a fire triad known as "Inflaming Ascension." The Heavenly Empress and Liu He are combined, indicating a pattern of women fleeing known as "Fleeing Women." The constellation斗魁 (Dǒu Kuí) added to the branch initiates the transmission, known as "Cutting the Gate." The lesson meaning states: the wood official ghost in Yin is active at night, riding the White Tiger and remaining hidden, indicating a dangerous situation; the Cutting the Gate pattern is suitable for daytime divination; the fire triad supports the day stem and drains the day branch, indicating our side is flourishing while the opponent is declining; if considering the household, it suggests a narrow house with many people.

解曰：斗魁加支上發用，是為斬關。但寅鬼夜乘白虎，其象凶險，不如晝占也。火局生干脫支，若分人我，即為我旺而彼敗。若論家常，則為人多而宅隘也。占者得此，切不可移居寬廣，反生災悔。

The Trigram of the Constellation's Handle (斗魁) is placed on the Day Branch and initiates the transmission, which is called cutting the gate (斩关). However, the Wood official ghost (寅木官鬼) in the night divination is riding on the White Tiger (白虎), indicating a dangerous situation. It is not as favorable as daytime divination. The fire group (火局) supports the Day Stem and drains the energy of the Day Branch. If we distinguish between self and others, it means our side is prosperous while the opponent is declining. If we consider domestic life, it means many people but a narrow house. If this divination is obtained, one must not move to a spacious place, as it may bring disaster and regret.

斷曰：此重審之卦，局成炎上，格合斬關。事多不順，起於陰小，虛而不實。先喜後嗔，先合後散。利於行動，不利安居。六合並臨於戌，而加鬼門，主有奸丑不明之事：丑戌相刑，彼此恃勢，傳雖三合，亦似笑中之刀，蜜中之砒而已。

This is a review lesson. The three transmissions form a fiery upward fire pattern, and the structure aligns with cutting off the gate. Matters often go against the flow, initiated by a weak and young person, which is empty and not substantial. There is initial joy followed by anger, initial gathering followed by separation. It is favorable for action but unfavorable for settling down. The six harmonies are present on the戌, and also appear on the ghost gate, indicating there are hidden evil and immoral matters. The丑 and戌 are in mutual conflict, each relying on their own power. Although the three transmissions are in triple harmony, it is merely a case of smiling with a knife hidden inside, or poison mixed into honey.

天時：久旱，密雲有電，晝占可雨，夜占發風。家宅：人多宅少，防奴婢奸逃之事。婚姻：不可用。胎產：生女難產。功名：晚得，須人幫扶，亦防人暗損。求財：有阻隔。

Heavenly circumstances: After a long drought, dark clouds are densely gathered and lightning flashes. If divined during the day, rain is expected; if divined at night, only wind is expected. Family residence: There are many people in the household but the house is narrow. One should beware of servants committing secret acts or fleeing. Marriage: This marriage is not advisable. Pregnancy: A daughter will be born, but the delivery will be difficult. Achieving fame and status: It will be achieved in old age, and one will need support from others. At the same time, one should be cautious of someone secretly obstructing. Seeking wealth: There is an obstacle in the middle.

投謁：面和心背，恩中有怨。疾病：易瘥，防後再發。失脫：主奴婢竊逃，可獲。出行：利避患潛蹤。行人：即至。爭訟：同夥參商，利於見官剖雪。兵戰：晝占不吉，利於攻。墳墓：主墓中生白蟻。

Meeting people: appears friendly on the surface but with conflicting inner feelings, kindness mixed with resentment. Illness: easy to recover, but beware of recurrence later. Loss: master servants steal and run away, but can be recovered. Travel: favorable for avoiding calamities and hiding one's whereabouts. Traveler: will arrive soon. Dispute: disagreement among accomplices, suitable for going to court to clarify. Military conflict: unfavorable in the daytime, favorable for taking the initiative to attack. Grave: indicates white ants in the tomb.

畢法云：合中犯煞蜜中砒，后合占婚豈用媒。課經：壬午年，正月初八日，亥將卯時占守城，曰：火局生身，但嫌干上丑為合中犯煞，須至癸未日，沖散丑刑，則援兵至而賊退矣。果子十三日援兵至，十五日賊移營去。

The "Bifa Fu" says: In the conjunction of elements, if a malevolent force is involved, it is like arsenic in honey; when the Heavenly Empress and Liu He both indicate marriage, there is no need for a matchmaker. The "Ke Jing" records: On January 8th of the Renwu year, at the hour of Hai with the time of Mao, a divination was made about defending a city, and the interpretation stated: The fire element supports and strengthens the self, but it is regrettable that the Day Stem has the earth element Chou, which is a malevolent force within the conjunction. In the end, the supporting troops arrived on the 13th day, and the bandits left the camp on the 15th day.

課體：重審，四絕。課義：交互逢敗，夏夜火怪，鬼雖是寅，熟視何礙。

The lesson pattern is called "Re-examination," and all five elements are in the state of decline, known as "Four Declines." The lesson meaning states: the day stem and day branch are interacting with the defeated god; there are strange occurrences of fire in summer nights; although寅wood is the official ghost of the day stem, upon careful examination of the chart, it is restricted both above and below, and thus does not affect me.

解曰：土敗於酉，木敗於子。日辰上交互相加，為我孟敗他，他先敗我。不宜訐人陰事，反被牽扯己之舊過，同時獲罪也。夏占火鬼在酉，臨支克宅，夜乘朱雀，當防火怪也。寅雖日鬼，然熟視盤中，下有未仇，上有酉難，彼自顧不暇，何能有礙於我哉。

The earth stem Wu is weakened by You, and the wood stem Yin is weakened by Zi. The day stem and the hour branch are interacting on the earth plate, creating a situation where I am trying to defeat him, but he defeats me first. At this time, it is not advisable to expose others' secrets, as it may bring up my own past mistakes, leading to both being punished. If this is divined in summer, the fire ghost is in You, sitting on the day branch and attacking the house. At night, it is accompanied by the Vermilion Bird, so one should be cautious of fire and strange occurrences. Although Yin is the official ghost of the day stem, one should carefully examine the heavenly and earthly plates. Below Yin is Wei earth, which is an enemy, and above it is You metal, which is a conflict. Yin is struggling to take care of itself, how could it harm me?

斷曰：此重審之卦，兩上不勝一下，事多不順，起於陰小。又五行皆臨絕地，干支互乘敗神，凡事小心詳慎，自能轉禍為福也。晝占螣蛇入水，主雖有驚憂，後即消散。

This is a review divination, where two upper deities are unable to overcome one lower deity, indicating many things will not go smoothly. The matter is initiated by a young and weak person. Moreover, all five elements are in the state of decline. The day stem and day branch mutually multiply the defeated deity. As long as one is careful and thorough, misfortune can be turned into good fortune. In the daytime divination, the Teng Snake falls into water, indicating although there may be worry or alarm, it will soon dissipate on its own.

天時：有雨，雨中時見日出。家宅：主屋舍頹壞，夏夜防火燭。婚姻：晝占男家不孟，夜占女家不允。胎產：胎神臨絕地，防損，晝占主男。功名：先否後泰，不利西方。求財：夜占吉。疾病：主氣血衰敗。失脫：晝占即獲。出行：防有阻滯。行人：佔有職人即歸。爭訟：主為下人奸私，或反被告訐。兵戰：晝占防小挫，夜占大利。

Heavenly Conditions: It will rain, with the sun occasionally showing through. Family Residence: The house has already collapsed and is in disrepair; be cautious of fire during summer nights. Marriage: If divined during the day, the male side is unwilling; if divined at night, the female side does not agree. Pregnancy: The fetal spirit is in a state of decline; be careful of harm to the fetus. If divined during the day, the child will be a boy. Career: There will be initial obstruction followed by smooth progress; seeking opportunities to the west is not favorable. Seeking Wealth: It is favorable only if divined at night. Illness: The root of the illness lies in the decline of qi and blood. Loss: If divined during the day, the lost item can be found immediately. Travel: Be cautious of obstacles on the way. Traveler: A person with a position will return soon. Dispute: It is mostly due to private matters involving servants, or the person may be sued by the other party. Warfare: If divined during the day, be cautious of minor setbacks; if divined at night, it is highly favorable.

畢法云：干支皆敗勢傾頹。課經神將論云：螣蛇發用在干，曰墜水，主驚疑怪夢，凶災不成。又云：子乘龍合，女占必受皇恩。子午乘龍，妻妾懷孕。又云：朱雀在酉日夜噪，主官災起。心印賦云：子居巳位卯居申，結絕舊事最為真。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: When both the day stem and day branch meet the败神, the momentum is ruined and the situation is weak. The "Ke Jing · Shen Jiang Lun" says: When the Teng Snake is on the day stem and initiates the transmission, it is called坠水, indicating anxiety, strange dreams, and ominous calamities, but the misfortune will not materialize. It also says: When子water is combined with the Azure Dragon and Liu He, a woman's fortune will surely receive royal favor; when子and午are combined with the Azure Dragon, the wife or concubine will become pregnant. It also says: When the Vermilion Bird is in酉, there will be constant noise day and night, indicating the emergence of legal disputes. The "Xin Yin Fu" says: When子is in the position of巳and卯is in the position of申, it is most suitable for concluding old matters.

課體：無依，元胎，度厄。課義：彼此合忌，交淡如水，生克既無，如斯而已。

The lesson pattern is reverse chant 'without support' (heaven and earth plates are in opposition, and the three transmissions have no basis). All three transmissions are named 'four young' or 'original embryo', also called 'overcoming hardship'. The lesson meaning says: between each other there is both Liu He and Liu Hai, emotions are as thin as water; the three transmissions move in vain and are trapped, neither mutual generation nor mutual control occurs, so the matter ends here.

解曰：干支上陰陽神，交互作六害，又兩兩作六合。似乎有利有害，然動而三傳，往來空陷，方且無生無克，何有於害，何有於合。君子處此。惟有淡交如水，使牛克合害，皆歸空虛，福亦不生，禍亦不成。如斯而已，豈可輕動哉。

The Yin and Yang spirits on the day stem and day branch interact to form the six harms, and they also form the six harmonies in pairs. It seems as though there are both benefits and harms, but once they move into the three transmissions, their movements all fall into empty and trapped positions, neither generating nor controlling anything. So where does harm come from, and where does harmony come from? A gentleman in such a situation should remain calm and indifferent, like water, allowing mutual generation, mutual control, six harmonies, and six harms to all become empty and void. In this state, neither good fortune can arise nor misfortune can take shape. At this point, how can one act recklessly?

斷曰：此反吟無依之卦，四孟課傳，三下賊上，事主遠而闇昧，反覆不定。親者疏，合者散，遲疑隱伏。又罡魁易位，四月占之，為天罡課。萬物被傷，小則阻滯，大則災殃。幸來去俱空，有菩提無樹、明鏡非臺之象，吉凶皆不實也，惟利九流僧道。

This is a reverse chant lesson without support, with all four lessons and three transmissions falling in the fourth month. The spirits in three places harm the superior spirits, indicating matters that are distant and obscure, fluctuating and uncertain. Close relationships turn distant, gatherings become separations, and people remain hesitant and concealed. Moreover, the heavenly stem Chen and the river ghost Xu have exchanged positions. If this is divined in the fourth month, it is the heavenly stem lesson, causing injury to all things. Lightly, it causes obstruction; severely, it brings calamity. Fortunately, both coming and going are empty, carrying the meaning of "the Bodhi tree has no tree, the bright mirror is not a platform." Thus, fortune and misfortune do not take hold, and it is only favorable for monks, Taoists, and practitioners.

天時：雨孟作而還止，出旬沾足。家宅：主有空巷，往來不寧。婚姻：不成，申年月晝占成。胎產：晝占驚恐，夜占女胎吉。功名：秋試有望，餘無成。求財：宜結絕田產舊事，或借本營生。疾病：不利占妻妾。失脫：勿尋。出行：空勞往返。行人：在道未至。爭訟：先見紛紜，後即解散。兵戰：無成功。

Heavenly conditions: Rain is about to fall but stops, and only after the current ten-day period will it rain thoroughly. Family home: The house is adjacent to an empty alley, and people coming and going will not find peace. Marriage: Not successful, unless it is divined during the year or month of Shen in the daytime. Pregnancy: If divined in the daytime, there is alarm; if divined at night, a female fetus is auspicious. Official rank: There is hope for the autumn examination, but nothing else will succeed. Seeking wealth: It is advisable to settle old matters concerning land, or to borrow capital for business. Disease: Unfavorable for those suffering from illness related to wife or concubine. Lost items: There is no need to search for them. Travel: A trip will be in vain. Traveler: Still on the way and has not arrived. Dispute: At first there will be much confusion and disturbance, but later it will subside. Military conflict: Will not be successful.

畢法云：彼此猜忌害相隨，干支值絕凡謀決，來去俱空豈動移。秘要云：晝占三重白虎作長生，乃不幸中之幸。夜占三重青龍作日鬼，乃幸中之不幸也。袖中金云：反吟四孟，為絕元胎。

The *Bi Fa Fu* says: mutual suspicion leads to six harms following closely; when both the day stem and day branch are in the state of death, any plan must be decided upon decisively; if both coming and going are empty, then what can be said about movement or change? The *Mi Yao* says: during the day, if three white tigers appear but are considered as growth, it is a fortunate outcome amidst misfortune; during the night, if three azure dragons appear but are considered as day ghosts, it is an unfortunate outcome amidst fortune. The *Xiu Zhong Jin* says: if reverse chant occurs and all three transmissions are in the first quarters, it is called absolute origin and embryo.

課體：知一，斬關，鑄印，驀越。課義：祿神及德，戌墓子克，夜貴閉口，作墓臨宅。

The lesson pattern is one of knowing one. The main star is approaching the day, named cutting the gate. The fire in巳 is approaching the earth in戌, named 'casting the seal' (like melting metal to cast a seal, indicating obtaining an official seal). The initiating transmission is out of order, named sudden crossing. The lesson meaning says: the禄神 and the day virtue are both in巳, but they are buried by the final transmission in戌 earth and overcome by the first transmission in子 water. The night nobleman is in the earth of the last ten days, called closed mouth. The earth of未 is also the storage of wood, exactly covering the house.

解曰：巳乃日之德祿，今居中傳，卻被初傳子水克之。末傳戌土墓之，則德祿俱廢矣。未加寅夜占，為貴人臨宅。然未乃旬中之尾，名為閉口，有求於貴，必不見諾。況未又為木墓，今覆宅上，必主晦暗而不明也。

The branch Si is the virtue god and the official god of the day Wu. It is now in the middle transmission, but is attacked by the first transmission Zi water. The final transmission Xu earth also buries it. Thus, both virtue and official are ruined. Since the branch Wei is added to Yin and the divination is done at night, the nobleman is present over the dwelling. However, Wei is at the end of the current ten-day period, known as closed mouth. Seeking help from the nobleman will certainly not be granted. Moreover, Wei is the storage place for wood, and now it is covering the dwelling, indicating that the dwelling will be dark and unclear.

斷曰：此知一之卦，干支上見刑害，事多起於同類。自知自見，不覺其為寇仇也。斗魁臨日，格合斬關，憂疑險阻，必得與貴和同，方能免咎。雖名鑄印，然已臨水鄉，火不勝水，又無印模，又名鑄印不成。

This is a lesson of the type "Zhi Yi." The day stem and day branch show a conflict and a harmful relationship, indicating that matters are often initiated by people of the same kind. One knows and sees, yet fails to recognize the other as an enemy. The constellation Doukui is approaching the day, forming a structure that aligns with cutting off the gate, leading to much worry, suspicion, and obstacles. One must harmonize with the nobleman to avoid misfortune. Although it is called casting a seal, the fire of Si has arrived in the water region, and the fire cannot overcome the water. Also, there is no seal, so it is called an unsuccessful casting of the seal.

天時：雨多晴少。家宅：主形勢低暗，灶被水壞。婚姻：吉，可用，夜占尤勝。胎產：主女，占胎不安，占產即下。功名：主得印綬，但有阻隔。求財：雖有得，即遇耗失。投謁：不合。

Heavenly circumstances: There is more rain than clear weather. Family residence: The land is low and dark, and the stove is damaged by water. Marriage: This marriage is auspicious and can be used, better to consult at night. Pregnancy: The child will be a girl; if asking about pregnancy, mother and child are uneasy, but if asking about childbirth, it will happen on time. Official position: It indicates receiving an official title and position, but there is an obstacle in between. Seeking wealth: Although it is obtained, it will be lost soon afterwards. Seeking an introduction: The two sides are not in harmony.

疾病：主不能言語、飲食。失脫：即在家中，人不肯言。出行：馬在貴前，同貴人行，吉，尤利避禍。行人：占尊長即至。爭訟：事起驀然，不利告貴。兵戰：晝占有驚，夜占吉。

Disease: The patient cannot speak and cannot eat. Loss: The thing is at home, but someone knows about it but does not want to say so. Travel: The post-horse is ahead of the nobleman, and if it goes with the nobleman, it is auspicious, especially good for avoiding misfortune. Traveler: The divination concerns a superior, and the person will arrive soon. Dispute: The matter comes suddenly, and it is not advisable to take it to the nobleman. Military conflict: If it is during the day, there is disturbance; if it is at night, it is auspicious.

畢法云：一旬周遍始終宜。課經云：子年戌月寅日卯將戌時，子為太歲，又為日財，德合加未為用。初傳青龍，末傳六合，為時泰課，占者萬事亨利。照膽秘訣云：除定開危卯未方，龍常陰合可逃藏。

The "Bifa Fu" says: The deities of the ten days are fully present in the divination transmission, and they are suitable throughout. The "Ke Jing" records: On a year of Zi, month of Xu, day of Yin, with the hour of Mao and the general of Xu, Zi is both the sovereign and the wealth of the day stem. The virtue combines with Wei to become the useful god. The first transmission rides the Azure Dragon, and the final transmission rides Liu He, forming a harmonious lesson, indicating that the diviner will have smooth success in all affairs. The "Zhaochan Mijue" says: On days of Chú, Dìng, Kāi, and Wēi, one should move towards the directions of Mao and Wei. The Azure Dragon, Tai Chang, Tai Yin, and Liu He can all hide there.
