The "Lesson Meaning" is a four-character rhyming phrase summarizing the fortune and misfortune of the chart. This chart states that the day stem, which is the wood of Yi, is being drained by the fire of Si in the heaven stem, like a thief taking goods in front of one's eyes; however, the three transmissions ahead have great potential, and once initiated, they meet the initial transmission of water in Hai, which brings the growth of the water element, thus avoiding futile efforts.

解曰：已臨我上而脫我氣，猶人當面為盜。被其盜者，無可如何，不如舍之而去，以就三傳。初乘丁馬，動而之長生之地。中之子水，亦生我也。況至末傳，更遇日財，較諸耗脫之巳，不大相懸絕耶。

"Explanation says" is a phrase-by-phrase interpretation of the divination meaning. The dry branch巳 fire is pressing upon the branch乙 wood, draining my original energy, just like a robber taking things right in front of me. The victim of open theft has no choice but to either guard it or abandon it and seek refuge in the three transmissions. The first transmission亥 water is riding on the active "丁 god," and also serves as theThe Post-horse for the酉 day; once it moves, it enters the long life place of乙 wood. The middle transmission子 water also supports乙 wood. By the final transmission丑 soil, it becomes the wealth hexagram that controls乙 wood. Comparing these three steps with the巳 fire that only consumes and drains, the difference in their effects is clearly vast.

斷曰：此重審之卦，順進連茹，循理則為亨通，逆理則為羅網。主子孫改動，陰貴扶持。先耗後益，轉咎為祥。舊事重新，失而復得，相機而動，株守非宜。

"Disposal" is a general summary of the entire situation. This is a review of the previous divination, with the three transmissions following in a continuous and progressive manner: proceeding in accordance with the natural order leads to smooth success everywhere, while going against the natural order and forcing matters results in falling into a trap. The matter in question relates to the movement of descendants, and there is secret support from a nobleman and a hidden person. Initially there will be expenses, but later there will be benefits, and misfortunes will eventually turn into good fortune; old matters can be renewed, and lost items can be recovered. The key point is to act according to the right opportunity, and to be rigid and unyielding is not appropriate.

天時：得雨沾足。家宅：主人多宅隘，有老陰人持家，防奴妨主。婚姻：雖頗耗費，日後和美。胎產：胎旺主生女。功名：穩足得人扶持。求財：先有所費，得足補償。投謁：和好得益。疾病：不妨。失脫：復得。出行：遠程吉利。行人：即歸。爭訟：宜和解。兵戰：軍中不寧。

Heavenly conditions: There will be rain, and the rain will be abundant. Family: There are many people in the household, but the house is narrow. A senior woman is in charge of the family, and one should beware of servants mistreating the master. Marriage: Although some wealth will be spent, the marriage will gradually become harmonious. Pregnancy: The vital energy is prosperous and strong, indicating the birth of a girl. Achievements: The foundation is stable, and someone will help and support. Seeking wealth: One must first spend some money, but later it will be sufficient to repay the initial expenditure. Visiting: Both parties are in harmony, and visiting is beneficial. Illness: There is no serious problem. Loss: Lost items can be recovered. Travel: Traveling far is auspicious. Travelers: Those who have gone out will return soon. Disputes: It is advisable to resolve matters through reconciliation. Warfare: The military will not be at peace.

畢法云：所謀多拙遭羅網，眷屬豐盈居狹宅，尊崇傳內遇三奇。課經云：亥子丑，亦名潤下格。生干脫支，應人口豐隆，而屋舍窄狹，切不可遷居寬廣，反生災咎。此造化使然，不可逆也。指掌賦云：若順連茹亥將順行，亥子丑為龍潛，陽光在下，空懷寶以迷邦。神將論曰：青龍財喜，多主亨通，飛天在巳，君子孟動。太陰在戌，繡衣主婚。

The "Bifa Fu" cites three lines: "Plans often lead to clumsiness and fall into a net," meaning that acting against reason and making reckless demands leads one into entanglements; "Relatives are numerous but living in a narrow house," meaning that the family is large but the dwelling is cramped; "Honour and prestige are encountered with the Three Marvels," meaning that if the three transmissions include the Three Marvels, one will attain high status. The "Ke Jing" says: When Hai, Zi, and Chou are connected, it is called "Runxia Ge," also known as the "Moistening Down Pattern." It generates and supports the day stem while draining and releasing the day branch, indicating a thriving population but narrow housing. At this time, one must not move to a spacious residence, or else invite misfortune. This is the way of nature, which should not be defied. The "Zhipang Fu" says: If the three transmissions are in sequence and Hai is moving in the correct direction, then Hai, Zi, and Chou are called "Long Qian," with yang energy still dominant below, like holding treasures without realizing it, causing the state to lose its way. The "Shen Jiang Lun" says: The Azure Dragon is a favorable general associated with wealth and joy, often indicating smooth sailing; the Flying Heaven deity is in Si, urging the gentleman to take action; Tai Yin is in Xu, indicating that a nobleman dressed in embroidered robes will handle the marriage affairs.

課體：伏吟，斬關，元胎。課義：財祿長生，傳內俱逢，居家昏暗，閉口不寧。

"Hidden Chant" refers to when the Month General and the time of divination are the same, and the Heaven Plate remains fixed over the Earth Plate, indicating a situation that is static and not active. "Cutting the Gate" occurs when the Tiangang (Chen) is placed on the Day Stem, suggesting an image of breaking through a barrier. "Original Fetus" means that the three transmissions contain the essence of a fetus, indicating that matters are in the process of development and renewal. The lesson states: the wealth god Shen (申), the禄 god Si (巳), and the Growth (长生)寅 are all within the three transmissions of the propitious fire (丙火); however, the day's墓 (womb)戌 soil covers the stem and branch, causing domestic darkness and confusion; Si is at the end of the ten-day cycle, and it hides the癸 water to form "closed mouth," so although one possesses great fortune, the mind remains unsettled.

解曰：巳為祿，申為財，寅為長生，俱在三傳之內，是不待外求，可以坐享矣。但戌為丙之墓，而臨干支上，支為宅，所以居家昏暗也。巳乃旬尾，遁癸為閉口，夫閉口之祿，豈能安享而無事哉。閉口在干，總要慎爾話言，始獲安吉。凡祿神作閉口，大不利於占病，不必旬尾加旬首也。

Si is the禄神 of Bing fire, Shen is the财神 of Bing fire, and Yin is theGrowth of Bing fire; all three are located within the three transmissions, so there is no need to seek outside; one can enjoy them while sitting. However, Xu is theStorage of Bing fire, now lying over the day stem and day branch. The day branch represents the house, so the home appears dark and stagnant. Si is precisely at the end of a ten-day period, with the heavenly stem Gui water emerging above it, forming the 'closed mouth' pattern. A禄 that is sealed cannot be enjoyed safely without incident. When 'closed mouth' falls on the day stem, one must be cautious with speech to ensure safety. Generally, when the禄神 becomes 'closed mouth', it is particularly unfavorable for matters related to illness, and it does not necessarily require the end of a ten-day period to be placed at the beginning of another ten-day period to count.

斷曰：自任之卦，乃天地閉塞，四伏未發之象，又名斬關。雖無丁神，靜中亦有動機矣。凡丙日伏吟皆吉。緣三傳俱為喜神，但巳火克申，申金克木，遞克之課，不免眾人欺凌耳。

However, the fire in巳 is capable of overcoming the metal in申, and the metal in申 is capable of overcoming the wood in寅, forming a cycle of mutual overcoming, which inevitably leads to being bullied by others.

天時：青龍入墓，無雨。家宅：祖業甚好，靜以守之，自享安閒之福，若強動則不宜。功名：三傳遞克外任，恐上司參，京官恐言官劾。求財：甚得利益，小有驚疑虛耗。謁貴：不宜。

Heavenly timing: The Azure Dragon, which governs rain, has fallen into the墓 (grave), so there will be no rain. Family home: The property inherited from ancestors is good, so it is advisable to remain quiet and keep it, thus enjoying a peaceful and prosperous life; any forced action would be inauspicious. Achievements: The three transmissions are in a cycle of mutual control, so officials stationed outside the capital may be accused by their superiors, while those in the capital may be criticized by officials who speak on matters. Seeking wealth: There will be substantial gains, but there will be some doubts and unnecessary losses in the process. Seeking officials: It is not advisable to go and pay homage.

婚姻：天后居宅，能主中饋，性甚貞靜，可以成婚，且多婢媵。胎產：孕男，但支為墓神，難產。疾病：久病不吉，宜祈禳。失脫：閉口，恐無人肯言。出行：丁馬不動，不能行走。行人：近者即至。兵戰：為客者勝。墳墓：緊簇得氣，當挨右點穴。

Marriage: The Heavenly Empress, who governs women, has the Heavenly General stationed at the residence. The wife can manage the household's food and internal affairs, and her nature is very chaste and quiet. This marriage can be successful, and there will be many servants and concubines. Childbirth: The child is a boy, but the day branch is theTomb Spirit (mound spirit), making childbirth difficult. Illness: A long-term illness is not auspicious; it is advisable to pray and perform rituals for relief. Loss or theft: The divination shows a closed mouth, so it is likely that no one will be willing to identify the missing item. Travel: The丁神 (God of the Fourth) and theThe Post-horse (post-horse) are not active, so travel is not possible. A traveler: Someone from a nearby place will arrive soon. Warfare: The attacking army, which is the guest army, will win. Graves: The mountain shape is compact and gathers energy; the burial site should be slightly to the right.

畢法云：三傳遞克眾人欺，賓主不投刑在上。玉成歌云：伏吟舉動心無遂，剛主行人到戶庭。又云：天空立用事無憑，前帶勾陳勾引情。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "Three transmissions successively controlling each other, people will deceive and bully." When the three transmissions successively control each other, it indicates that one will be constantly bullied by others. "The host and guest do not harmonize, punishment is above." When the day stem and the day branch are controlled by the upper god, it indicates that the host and guest are not in harmony. The "Yucheng Ge" says: In aHidden Chant chart, any action will not be satisfactory, and the strong and stubborn appearance indicates that someone who has gone out will return home. It also says: When Tiankong initiates the transmission, things have no basis, and if it is preceded by Gouchen, there will be someone who mediates and brings influence.

課體：元首，退茹，斬關。課義：退入生鄉，進之亦強，壬辰在上，守之見殃。

"The 'Original Head,' in the Four Lessons, there is only one instance where the superior god overcomes the inferior god, and this is used as the Initiating Transmission, meaning the matter originates from above, being open and upright; 'Retreating and Eating,' refers to the Three Transmissions moving in reverse order of the Earthly Branches, from Chen to Mao to Yin; 'Cutting the Gate,' still refers to the Tiangang (Chen) Earth added to the Day Stem. The meaning of the lesson says: going backward to Zi and Hai, those are the lands of growth for wood; moving forward into Si and Wu, those are the flourishing periods for Bing Fire, so neither advancing nor retreating is weak. However, the Chen Earth on the Day Stem has hidden out the Ren Water, becoming the ghost trigram for Bing Fire, and if it remains stagnant here, calamity will be seen."

解曰：退連茹，則宜退矣。然退而入於子亥，則為全木之生鄉。進而入於巳午，則為丙干之旺氣，所以進之亦強也。至於干上之辰為脫氣，遁為壬鬼，雖乘青龍吉神，而孟守此脫鬼，有不見殃者乎。不如更進一步，就於德祿之地，而食其旺氣，乃可以安堵而無恙也。

The three transmissions are in reverse order and connected, which according to principle should retreat backwards. However, retreating to Zi and Hai, those are the places where the wood energy of the three transmissions has its growth; advancing to Si and Wu, those are the places where Bing fire is strong. Therefore, moving forward is equally powerful. As for the day stem's Chen earth, it itself weakens the Bing fire energy, and the hidden heavenly stem is Ren water, which is the ghost of Bing fire. Even though it is riding on the Azure Dragon, a favorable general, persisting in this position that both weakens and brings ghosts, how can it avoid disaster? It would be better to take another step forward, to the place where the virtue god and the fortune god are, to receive that strong energy, thus being safe and free from illness.

斷曰：元首之卦，傳名退茹，似乎退易而進難，卻宜進多而退少。又支干俱生上神，凡事虛費百出，恐有盜失損財之患。幸辰與酉合，託人定為得力。

Overall interpretation: This is a lesson of the supreme ruler, with the three transmissions named "retreating and consuming." It appears that retreating is easy while advancing is difficult, but in reality, one should advance more and retreat less. Moreover, both the day stem and day branch are generating the heavenly stems above them, causing the energy to leak outward. Thus, all affairs will involve much waste and there is a risk of losing property. Fortunately, the hour of辰 and the hour of酉 form theLiu He, meaning that when asking someone to do a favor, they will certainly be helpful.

天時：有雨有風，雨後即晴。家宅：人亦和平，但內外洩氣。功名：辰雖官墓，而戌能沖之，遁壬透出，功名遠大，若歲月建辰尤妙。求財：支上酉財，干卯沖之難獲。婚姻：中吉。胎產：男喜，易養。謁貴：可見。求謀：可成。疾病：肺經有病，人病相合，未能脫體，五月不妨。出行：水陸皆通。行人：可至。兵戰：游都白虎居中傳，恐有劫營偷寨之事，辰與酉合，宜講信修睦為上。墳墓：發財之地。

Family affairs: The family is still harmonious, but there is a loss of energy both inside and outside. Career: Although the hour of Chen is the storage place for official stars, the hour of Xu comes to break it open, and the hidden stem of Ren water appears, becoming an official star, so there is hope for great achievements in career; if the master year or month builder is also Chen, it will be even more remarkable. Seeking wealth: The metal of You in the day branch is originally the wealth element, but it is attacked by the wood of Mao in the day stem, so wealth is difficult to obtain. Marriage: Moderately auspicious. Pregnancy: A joy of having a son, who is easy to raise. Seeking officials: One can meet officials. Seeking plans: Affairs can be accomplished. Illness: There is illness in the lung meridian, and the person and the illness are in harmony, so one cannot get out of it for a while, but it will be fine by May. Traveling: Both water and land routes are passable. Travelers: Those who have gone out can reach their destinations. Tombs: It is a place that can bring wealth.

畢法云：屋宅寬廣致人衰。指掌賦云：卯寅丑聯芳悔吝，須知否極泰來。纂義云：六害無情事未寧，全憑陰騭兩相成。秘要云：勾陳加卯，須防公擾。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: "A spacious house leads to decline of people." A dwelling that is too vast may actually cause a decrease in family members. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" says: The branches of卯, 寅, and 丑 follow each other in reverse order, and there is often regret and stinginess in between, but one should know that after hardship comes ease. The "Zuan Yi" says: When the Earthly Branches are in mutual harm, they lack affection for each other, and affairs find it hard to be peaceful; only through the accumulation of Yin Virtue can both sides be reconciled. The "Mi Yao" says: When Gou Chen is placed over 卯, there is a need to beware of disturbances from government authorities.

課體：重審，間傳。課義：交車六合，我豐彼乏，二貴相投，事恐廢業。

"The intermediate transmission" refers to the three transmissions advancing by skipping one position, indicating that matters will encounter obstacles and be unable to proceed directly. The meaning of the lesson states: the heavenly stem above the day stem and the heavenly stem above the day branch mutually cross and combine, which is called "crossing car Liu He"; after the combination, my side becomes abundant while the other side becomes deficient. The two noblemen of day and night also combine and form a water pattern entering the transmission, causing the official ghost to become excessively strong, and previous endeavors may therefore be abandoned.

解曰：干上卯與戌合，支上申與巳合，干得卯之生，支被申之脫，則交合之後，必我豐而彼乏矣。晝貴亥水，酉又投其家，合而為水以入傳，則官鬼太旺，所以剋制我者深矣。往時之業，得毋廢弛而不振乎。然在仕宦占之，反為吉象也。

The stem on the day, Bing fire, is supported by the卯 wood, while the branch on the day, 戌 earth, is weakened by the申 metal. The two pairs of stems and branches combine with each other, so it is called crossing vehicles. The day stem Bing fire is nourished by the卯 wood, but the day branch 戌 earth is drained by the申 metal. Therefore, after the combination, my side becomes abundant while the other side becomes deficient. In a daytime divination, the nobleman is located in亥 water, and the酉 metal joins the home of亥, combining to form water and entering the three transmissions. This water then strongly restrains the Bing fire, making the official ghost too strong and thus deeply suppressing my strength. Previously operated businesses are likely to be abandoned and fall into decline. However, if a person in official position makes the divination, the strong official ghost is actually a favorable sign.

斷曰：重審之卦，事從內起，咎由女人，又三傳間進，有阻隔之象。所喜干上神生日，凡百謀為，俱有當然而然，不慮而獲之應。但事有隔手，不能直遂耳。

The three transmissions progress with intervals, suggesting an obstructive situation. However, the process of handling affairs is always mediated by an intermediary, preventing a direct and immediate outcome.

天時：龍不出現，主晴。家宅：人旺宅窄，可以發財；或有貴人接引。功名：幕貴出現，占試必中。求財：財與干合，求之必得，但不無費心。謁貴：晝占相合，夜占相悖。婚姻：可成，且旺夫益子。

Seeking a Nobleman: If divined during the day, both sides harmonize; if at night, they conflict. Marriage: The marriage can be successful, and the wife will benefit her husband and bring children.

胎產：孕女難產。疾病：心經受病，需求東方醫人治之則吉。求謀：上神生日，所謀百事皆吉。出行：臺土當門，出行有阻。行人：立至。失脫：急捕則獲。兵戰：彼此相持，不能取勝。

Conception and childbirth: The child is a girl, and the delivery will be difficult. Disease: Illness affects the heart meridian; one must seek a doctor from the east to see good results. Seeking business: The heavenly stem on the day supports the day stem, so all affairs will proceed smoothly. Travel: The earth deity is blocking the entrance and door, causing obstacles when going out. A traveler: Will arrive immediately. Loss or theft: If you chase quickly, you can capture the person. Warfare: Both sides are at a stalemate, neither can gain victory.

畢法云：晝夜貴加求兩貴，六陰相繼盡昏迷。觀月經云：丑上乘朱雀，須言舉薦人。纂義云：丙日得雀貴勾，主有貴人勾留接引之意，常占則不吉也。指掌賦云：丑亥酉為極陰，如月隱西山。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "Day and night, the nobleman should be combined with two noblemen," meaning that both the day nobleman and the night nobleman should be present, indicating that one can entrust two noblemen when seeking help from others. "Six yin consecutively lead to confusion," meaning that when a series of yin spirits are connected, affairs become obscure and unclear. The "Guan Jing Xue" says: if the branch You is occupied by the Vermilion Bird, it is appropriate to discuss matters concerning recommenders. The "Zuanyi" says: on a Bing day, if the Vermilion Bird, nobleman, and Gou Chen are all present, it indicates that there is an intention of being recommended or retained by a nobleman; however, if a common person seeks divination, it is inauspicious. The "Zhipang Fu" says: the branches You, Hai, and You are called "extreme yin," similar to the moon sinking into the western mountain.

課體：蒿矢，元胎。課義：晝貴蒿矢，告之委靡，生氣臨身，宅中自毀。

"Hao Shi" is a type of remoterestrain lesson: in the four lessons, there is no direct conflict between upper and lower, but the god in the upper lesson remotely克 the day stem and initiates the transmission. Its power is like a arrow made of reed grass, resulting in light fortune or misfortune. The lesson meaning says: if divined in the day, the nobleman亥 water serves as Hao Shi initiating the transmission. This nobleman is weak, and seeking help from him is useless; the long life寅 wood is present on the day stem and generates the fire丙, indicating that people and descendants will be prosperous; however, the house戌 and 未 are in conflict, leading to inevitable damage within the family.

解曰：亥貴臨寅被脫，而又為蒿矢發用，則貴人委靡無力而不可告也。寅木臨身而生丙火，則人丁之旺可知。惜乎支上戌未相刑，宅中豈能無拆毀之患乎。長生臨干，官星祿馬俱動，若遇旺相，仕宦大利。

It also serves as the initiating transmission of the蒿矢, indicating that this nobleman is weak and ineffective. The wood of Yin is positioned over the day stem and generates the fire of Bing, showing that the people and descendants are strong. Unfortunately, the day branch of Xu earth is in conflict with the earth above it, Wei earth, leading to the possibility of destruction within the house. The long growth is located on the day stem, with the official star,禄神, and the post-horse all being activated. If this occurs during a prosperous and strong period, it would greatly benefit those in official positions.

斷曰：蒿矢之卦，禍福俱輕，然得申金亦能為害，須防口舌從西南來。又元胎有隱伏之象。事主遠而多暗，常有憂心。雖可創新，終宜守舊。

Overall interpretation: The fortune of this divination is neither greatly auspicious nor greatly inauspicious. However, since the transmission includes the metal of Shen, it may still cause harm. One should be cautious of disputes and gossip coming from the southwest direction. Also, the original embryo carries an image of concealment, indicating that the matter involved is distant and obscure, often causing worry. Although one might attempt to start anew, it is ultimately better to stick to the old ways.

Official Rank: The official star and文书 (documents) are both strong, the city god and officials' god appear, and the禄神 (favorable god for official rank) andThe Post-horse (post-horse) are complete, indicating great success in official rank; divining at night is even better. Seeking Wealth: Wealth comes from afar, or from distant relatives and in-laws; if divined in the daytime, there will be losses. Travel: The spirit of the day and the post-horse are both activated, and the azure dragon is in the three transmissions, so traveling by land is feasible for a long distance. A traveler: Still on the way. Military conflict: Be cautious of the enemy launching a surprise attack secretly.

畢法云：鬼乘天乙乃神祇。課經云：巳加申乃祿神閉口，占病有失音之患，或痰厥不納飲食，或口禁咽腫至於絕粒，占食祿者亦忌。秘要云：寅加巳，夜占乘龍，若逢生氣，將來必然發福。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "Ghost riding the Heavenly Stem Yi is a divine being," meaning that when the official ghost is accompanied by a nobleman, it incurs the taboo of the divine. The "Ke Jing" states that when巳 is placed over申, the禄神 (fate god) is closed-mouthed, which in divination for illness indicates loss of voice, or obstruction of qi leading to fainting, inability to eat, locked jaw, throat inflammation, and even complete inability to take in food; this pattern is also considered unfavorable for those seeking official positions orofficial stipend (salary). The "Mi Yao" says: when寅 is placed over巳, and if it occurs at night with the Azure Dragon, and also meets the life qi, it is certain to bring future success.

課體：彈射，從革。課義：將助財業，盡得盡失，縱取歸家，如湯沃雪。

"Dan She" is also a type of remoterestrain (restraining) in divination, contrasting with "Hao Shi": it refers to the day stem remotely restraining the god in the lesson and initiating the transmission, like a projectile shooting at an object; the fortune and misfortune are similarly minor. "Cong Ge" refers to the three transmissions Si, You, and Chou forming a metal trinity, and the metal nature follows the principle of transformation. The lesson's meaning states: the heavenly general assists in forming the metal trinity in the three transmissions; originally all are my wealth, yet I gain and lose it equally. Even if I bring the wealth home, it is like hot water poured on snow, melting away in an instant.

解曰：夜將貴常勾純土，助起三傳之金，不為無益矣。然丙得傳金，卻被天將脫去，是一得之中，又有失也。挈財歸家，而支上寅午戌會成火局，以消其財。又宅上午為羊刃，晝乘白虎，夜乘元武，其失脫耗費之象，非如湯之沃雪乎。諺所謂左手接來，右手去者是也。

For night activities, the heavenly generals are the Nobleman, Tai Chang, and Gou Chen, all belonging to the earth element. Earth supports the metal in the three transmissions, so it cannot be said there is no benefit. However, the fire in the transmission is assisted by the metal, which is then drained by the heavenly generals. In this gain, there is also a loss. After great effort to bring the wealth home, the day branch Yin-Wu-Xu forms a fire trinity, melting away the wealth completely. Moreover, the fire in the house is the Yangren, which in the day is supported by the White Tiger and at night by the Black Tortoise, showing a pattern of loss and expenditure, just like boiling water poured on snow. The common saying that "the left hand receives it, but the right hand sends it away" describes exactly this situation.

斷曰：彈射之課，得土為有丸，雖能擊人，其禍福猶小。惟干上成金局，支上成火局，以火爍金，不免宅旺而人衰也。卻喜午乘旬空，雖晝夜元虎臨之，猶或有未消之財，歸我囊橐也。格名從革，凡事不防因舊增新。

Overall interpretation: A shooting lesson requires earth in order for the bow and arrow to be complete, so that it can hit a person, but the fortune and misfortune involved are not great. However, if the day stem forms a metal formation and the day branch forms a fire formation, the fire will consume the metal, leading to a flourishing house but a decline in population. Fortunately, the fire of the fifth hour is in the empty period, so even though the white tiger and black tortoise are present day and night, perhaps some remaining wealth can still be retained. This formation is called "From Reform," so in all matters, it is advisable to follow the existing foundation and add something new.

天時：風雨不久，雲開日見。家宅：劫財既多，虛耗百出，所得不足以償所失。功名：難得。求財：財亦成局，到家消盡。婚姻：龍后不現，不成婚姻。胎產：女喜，難產。疾病：肺經受病，日醫臨干，求治可愈，伏尸為災，祈禱則吉。出行：宜從陸路，出外受益。行人：未歸。兵戰：堅陳以待之，毋貪金貨財寶。

Heavenly Conditions: Rain and wind will not last long; once the clouds clear, the sun will appear. Family Home: There are many spirits that take away property, causing constant losses; what is gained is not enough to compensate for what is lost. Achievements: It is difficult to attain success. Wealth: Although the wealth element may form a favorable combination, it will be completely consumed once it reaches home. Marriage: Neither the Azure Dragon nor the Heavenly Empress appears, so the marriage will not succeed. Pregnancy and Childbirth: There is joy in having a daughter, but childbirth will be difficult. Illness: The lung meridian is affected; the deity of medicine is present on the day stem, so seeking medical treatment will lead to recovery; if it is a ghostly presence causing trouble, prayer will bring good fortune. Travel: It is advisable to travel by land, as one will benefit from being away. Traveler: The traveler has not yet returned. Warfare: One should hold the position and wait, without seeking wealth or treasure.

畢法云：傳財太旺反財虧。通神集云：祿作閉口，不利占病，不必旬尾加旬首也。指掌賦云：酉巳丑為操會，已過受時豈失宜。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: "If the wealth transmission is too strong, it leads to loss of wealth." When the three transmissions have excessive wealth energy, it results in financial loss. The "Tong Shen Ji" states: When the禄神 becomes a closed mouth, it is unfavorable for illness divination, and it is not necessarily required for the旬尾 to be placed at the旬首. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" mentions: When酉, 巳, and 丑 are connected in reverse order, it is called "Cao Hui." Although the opportunity has been missed, the benefit may still come later, and it does not necessarily indicate an inauspicious situation.

課體：知一，四絕，不備。課義：並來克身，甘分昏沉，祿既閉口，病托食歆。

"Zhi Yi" refers to the method of using the lesson, where among the four lessons there are two instances of the same type of overcoming, and the lesson that shares the same yin-yang with the day stem is selected for use, hence the name "choosing one to use"; "Si Jue" means both the heavenly stems and earthly branches are in the state of absolute decline; "Bu Bei" means the four lessons are not complete, with the yang lessons missing on a yang day. The meaning of the lesson states: water ghosts come together to overcome my body, so I can only accept this state of confusion; the禄神 (lucky god) has already become silent, and those who divinate about illness are mostly due to excessive desire for food and drink.

解曰：子水臨干發用，並來克身。而丙投戌墓，是自己甘心以受昏沉也。巳祿遁癸，既為閉口，上乘太常，若占病必因多食貪味，以致不起也。子水克丙火為鬼，中傳未能制之，則為救神，不得以脫氣視之矣。末傳寅為丙火之長生，所謂引鬼為生也。然臨未上，旦合夜龍，是天將與地神俱隨入墓。雖屬生氣，亦為無用矣，占病大忌。

The water of Zi is placed on the day stem and initiates the transmission, coming together to overcome me. The fire of Bing is entering the storage of Xu earth, which is like willingly accepting this state of confusion and stagnation. Si is the禄 of Bing fire, and the hidden癸 water above has formed a closed mouth, further riding on Tai Chang, the heavenly general in charge of food. If this is about illness, it must be due to overeating and indulgence leading to a fatal illness. The water of Zi overcoming fire is the official ghost of Bing fire; the middle transmission of Wei earth can control the water of Zi, so it should be regarded as a saving deity, not merely as a deity that disperses energy. The final transmission of Yin wood is the long life of Bing fire, which is exactly what is meant by attracting the ghost to nourish me. However, Yin wood is placed on top of Wei earth. During the day it rides on Liu He, and at night it rides on Qing Long. The heavenly generals and earth deities together enter the storage, although it is life energy, it becomes ineffective. This pattern is especially dangerous in divination for illness.

斷曰：知一之課，陽神不備，事起同類，愁由恩生。凡事狐疑不定，五行入墓，止宜結絕舊事。

Overall interpretation: This is a Zhishi lesson, but the Yang lesson is incomplete. The matter originates from peers or similar people, and worries arise from kindness. Matters are doubtful and uncertain, with all five phases entering their graves. It is only suitable to conclude old matters.

天時：主晴。家宅：三傳遞克傷干，遲滯未達，每事不能稱心。功名：官文俱不得力，勞而無功。求財：不得。謁貴：恐反被貴人欺。婚姻：不吉。胎產：男孕，多病難產。疾病：先凶，後漸平復，久病可憂。出行：所謀未遂，不能離家。行人：即日可歸。失脫：可獲。兵戰：進退俱難，宜出奇以勝之。墳葬：青龍甚旺，吉地可葬。

Heavenly Conditions: Favorable for clear weather. Home: The three transmissions turn against each other and injure the day stem, causing delays in all matters and dissatisfaction in everything. Achievements: Officials and documents are ineffective, resulting in labor without success. Seeking Wealth: Unable to obtain wealth. Seeking Nobleman: Likely to be insulted by the nobleman. Marriage: Unfavorable. Pregnancy: Expecting a boy, who is sickly and may have a difficult delivery. Disease: Initially dangerous, but gradually improves; long-term illness is concerning. Travel: Plans are not realized, and leaving home is unavoidable. Traveler: Will return the same day. Lost Items: Lost items can be found. Warfare: In a difficult position, suitable for an unexpected strategy. Burial: The Azure Dragon is strong, indicating a favorable place for burial.

畢法云：權攝不正祿臨支，不行傳者考初時。占驗：五月申將加丑占女病，曰：胎鬼發用，血忌加支，必胎產所致。不備主脈息虛弱，冬月不保。問本地安否，曰：賊符加干支，必有兵警。幸干神生支，可無破城之虞。又問考試，曰：科舉必取，省試不中，後皆驗。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: "The authority is not properly held, and the official rank falls on the day branch," meaning that the official rank god is located on the day branch, like taking over someone else's affairs, with improper status; "if there is no transmission, examine the initial transmission and the time of divination," meaning that if the course does not initiate a transmission, one should focus on the first transmission and the time of divination. A case of divination is attached: in the fifth month, using the Sheng general added to the Chou branch to divinate a woman's illness, it was predicted that the fetal god and the official ghost initiated the transmission, and the blood taboo also fell on the day branch, indicating that the illness must be caused by pregnancy; since the four lessons are not complete, it indicates weak pulse and breath, and by winter she will not survive. Another question was asked about the safety of the local area, and it was predicted that the thief symbol fell on the heavenly stem and earthly branch, indicating there will certainly be military incidents and alarms; fortunately, the heavenly stem's god was born on the day branch, so there will be no fear of the city being destroyed. Another question was asked about an examination, and it was predicted that the local examination will definitely pass, but the provincial examination will not, and later all predictions were verified.

課體：反吟，元胎，斬關。課義：三傳閉口，壬虎夜走，進退俱難，人傷宅朽。

"Reverse Chant" refers to when the Heaven Plate and Earth Plate combine to form the Six Clashes, indicating that affairs will be fluctuating and unstable, with no clear direction. The meaning of the divination suggests that all three transmissions encountered are of the closed mouth pattern; the escaping壬 water is accompanied by the White Tiger, and the malevolent spirits are active at night. Moving forward leads to the closed mouth, while retreating leads to the White Tiger and ghostly spirits, making it difficult to advance or retreat. The outcome is injury to people and decay of the dwelling.

解曰：丙祿在巳，巳乃旬尾發用，是閉口祿也。辰為食神，晝夜天將，俱乘白虎。天干遁壬，為丙之鬼，臨於宅上，人烏得不傷，宅烏得不朽。進而趨傳，而巳為閉口。退而入宅，而辰為虎鬼。進退之際，不亦難哉。天罡乘虎臨戌，占宅主西有破窯。雀作日鬼加干，朝官防有彈章責黜。

The禄 of Bing fire is in Si, and Si is the end of the ten-day period and serves as the initiating transmission, thus it is a closed禄. Chen is the food god of Bing fire, and regardless of day or night divination, the heavenly general is the White Tiger. The heavenly stem emerges as Ren water, which is the official ghost of Bing fire, and it is placed on the position of the residence, so how can a person not be harmed and the house not decay? Moving forward to the three transmissions, Si is closed; moving backward to the residence, Chen is the ghost accompanied by the White Tiger. Between advancing and retreating, is it not difficult? The Tiangang Chen earth rides the White Tiger and is placed on Xu, indicating that there is a broken kiln to the west of the residence. The Vermilion Bird serves as the official ghost of the day stem and is placed on the day stem, so officials in office should beware of impeachment and demotion.

斷曰：反吟之卦，往來無依。加以元胎斬關，動而又動，遠近繫懷之象。又干上克干，支上墓支，干支上全逢自刑，止宜告貴結絕舊事，所謂干支值絕凡謀決也。

Total interpretation: Reverse chant divination indicates lack of support in both directions, compounded by the presence of the original embryo and the cutting gate, leading to continuous movement and concern about both near and distant matters. Additionally, the heavenly stem of the day is being attacked by the heavenly stem above it, and the earthly branch of the day is in its storage position. Both the heavenly and earthly stems are involved in self-punishment. It is advisable to seek the help of a nobleman and resolve old matters. This is referred to as the heavenly and earthly stems meeting at their end, and any plans should be decided upon promptly.

天時：風雨交加，電掣雷聲。家宅：門戶蕭條，訟病相連，且多孝服哭泣之事。功名：朱克祿閉，恐不久任。求財：宜空手問利，亦不能多得。謁貴：恐不得貴人意。婚姻：不必成。

Heavenly Conditions: Rain and wind are combined, with lightning and thunder. Family Home: The courtyard is cold and deserted, with continuous lawsuits and diseases, and there are also many occasions of wearing mourning clothes and weeping. Official Rank: The Vermilion Bird comes to overcome, and the禄神 is closed-mouthed, so it is likely that the position cannot be held for long. Seeking Wealth: It is suitable to go empty-handed to inquire about profitable paths, but not much can be obtained. Seeking the Nobleman: It is likely that it will not meet the Nobleman's mind. Marriage: There is no need to proceed with it.

胎產：或主生男，然非成家之子。疾病：腎水受傷，不能飲食，久病難醫，新病宜服藥祈神。爭訟：官不肯休。出行：囊橐無資，有貴人提攜可行。行人：已起身，尚不能即到。兵戰：相持日久，軍中恐有庚癸之呼。墳葬：白虎重疊，防人口不安。

Childbirth: Perhaps a son will be born, but he may not be able to support the family. Disease: Kidney water is damaged, appetite is lost, chronic illness is difficult to cure, and new illness should be treated with medicine while also praying to the gods. Disputes: The judge will not give up. Travel: There is no money, and only with the help of a nobleman can the journey be completed. Traveler: Already on the way, but will not arrive soon. Warfare: A prolonged stalemate, and there may be complaints of lack of food and water in the army. Burial: White Tiger appears repeatedly, beware of family unrest.

畢法云：鬼乘天乙乃神祇，虎乘遁鬼殃非淺。秘要云：亥子加巳午剋日，占病必係寒熱往來，或虛癆之症。照膽秘訣云：天傾西北日月隨，地陷東南江海歸；巳亥中間常缺欠，重求輕得告君知。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "If the ghost is riding on the heavenly stem, it is a divine being," meaning that if the official ghost is riding on the nobleman, the offense involves the divine; "If the white tiger rides on the hidden ghost, the calamity is not shallow," meaning that if the white tiger is combined with the hidden ghost, the disaster is severe. The "Miyao" says: When the亥 and 子 branches are placed over the巳 and 午 branches, they come to attack the day stem, and if one is divining illness, it must be a condition of alternating chills and fever, or a syndrome of deficiency and fatigue. The "Zhaochan Mijue" says: The sky tilts toward the northwest, and the sun and moon follow accordingly; the earth sinks toward the southeast, and rivers and seas flow accordingly. Between the巳 and 亥 branches, there is often a deficiency, and the effort required is great while the result obtained is slight.
