課體：重審，鑄印，斬關。課義：空鬼加身，實墓臨庭，孟動不動，守則虛驚。

The three lesson patterns are: "Re-examination" (Chong Shen); "Casting the Seal" (Zhu Yin), which occurs when Wu is added to Si, like melting metal to cast a seal; and "Cutting the Gate" (Zhan Guan), which involves a horse and Ding conflicting with the gate. The lesson meaning states: the official ghost, which has fallen into emptiness, is pressing upon the day stem, while the real tomb god is pressing upon the gate and courtyard. The young god originally intended to move but cannot; returning to rest, it only results in a false alarm.

解曰：子水空鬼，臨於干上。戌為實墓，臨於宅上。是身則虛驚，而宅則昏滯也。初傳巳火乘丁，躍躍孟動。中逢戌墓，卻又中止，是孟動不動。不免退而坐守，甘受其虛驚焉耳。

The water of the Zi branch is the official ghost of the Ding fire, but it falls in the empty period and is placed above the day stem. The earth of the Xu branch is a real tomb deity, placed above the dwelling position. Therefore, the person only experiences a false alarm, while the family dwelling is dark and stagnant. The first transmission is the fire of Si, riding on the Ding deity, with the young deity eager to move. The middle transmission meets the Xu tomb, but is stopped halfway, which is called 'the young deity moves but does not move'. In the end, it can only retreat and sit still, suffering this false alarm in vain.

斷曰：鑄印之課，利於仕宦。但初傳陷空，名為爐冶不成，有先難後易之象，子鬼固凶，賴未土敵之，亦名狐假虎威。三傳不離四課，格合迴環，成事則吉，解散則難。

This divination lesson is favorable for someone seeking official positions. However, the first transmission falls into Kongwang, which is called "the furnace and forge cannot be completed," indicating an image of initial difficulty followed by ease. The water official ghost at the hour of Zi is inherentlyvicious, but it is entirely reliant on the earth at Wei to counteract it, which is referred to as "the fox borrowing the tiger's might." The three transmissions do not go beyond the scope of the four lessons, forming a structure that loops from beginning to end. To achieve success is auspicious, but to disperse or dissolve matters is difficult.

天時：水神已空，巳火發用，不能得雨。家宅：螣蛇作墓臨宅，宅內欠寧。功名：乘軒鑄印，壬戌月日得官。求財：無益。婚姻：干上逢空，占婚不吉。胎產：雖是男喜，母實兒空，占產甚凶。

Heavenly Time: The water deity governing rain has fallen into Kongwang, and the initiating transmission is in Si fire, so rain cannot be obtained. Family Residence: Teng Snake is acting as the tomb deity over the residence, causing instability at home. Official Rank: There is an omen of riding a carriage and casting an official seal; one can attain official position in the month or day of Renxu. Wealth Seeking: There is no benefit. Marriage: The day stem deity has fallen into Kongwang; the omen for marriage is unfavorable. Pregnancy and Childbirth: Although it is a joy of expecting a son, the mother's side is solid while the fetus's side is in Kongwang, making the omen for childbirth very dangerous.

疾病：脾土克水之症，人空不吉。出行：防有阻滯，不能動身。行人：戌墓入宅即至，若不至即凶。捕獲：晝占在西南，拒捕難獲；夜占在西北，有口舌事。兵戰：兵防欺詐，不可遽信。墳葬：穴情雖好，恐損人丁。

Disease: This indicates a condition where the spleen earth overpowers the kidney water, representing the patient's spirit being empty, which is inauspicious. Traveling: Be cautious of obstructions and difficulty in moving. Travelers: The person will arrive when the戌墓 enters the house; if they do not arrive at that time, it is a凶兆. Capturing thieves: If the thief is divined during the day, they are in the southwest and will resist capture, making it difficult to catch them; if divined at night, they are in the northwest and there will be disputes over words. Warfare: Be wary of the enemy using deception, and do not trust the intelligence easily. Burial: Although the site of the grave is favorable, there may be harm to the family members.

畢法云：兩蛇夾墓凶難免，制鬼之位乃良醫。課經云：占病之外，凡有制鬼神者，皆主於災患之中，得人解救。倘其神臨干，或臨於占人年命，皆宜辨雪，其禍自解。如乘貴人，必得上人除愆釋過，即在囚禁，必有赦原。集義云：巳乘天空，加子旬空，不可託人，多有不實。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When two Teng Snakes surround theTomb Spirit, misfortune is inevitable; the one that can control the official ghost is the good doctor. The "Ke Jing" explains: besides divination about illness, whenever a ghost or spirit is subdued in a divination, it indicates that one will receive help from others in times of disaster. If the spirit that controls the ghost is located on the day stem or on the diviner's own age and birth year, it is advisable to take the initiative to clarify and clear the matter, and the misfortune will naturally be resolved. If it is accompanied by a nobleman, it will certainly receive pardon from those in higher positions; even if one is imprisoned, there will surely be mercy. The "Ji Yi" says: When巳 is riding on Tian Kong and placed on the Zi in the旬空, it is not advisable to entrust matters to others, as it is mostly unreliable.

課體：重審，從革。課義：兩貴共排，夜將助財，貪財不足，生鬼為災。

The lesson pattern is "Chong Shen" (Re-examination) combined with the three transmissions forming the metal triad of Si-You-Chou, which is "Cong Ge" (following transformation). The lesson meaning states: both day and night dignitaries appear side by side; when divining at night, the heavenly general comes to support the wealth god. However, being overly greedy for wealth is still insufficient, and wealth instead generates official ghosts, leading to misfortune.

解曰：晝貴臨干，夜貴臨支，此兩貴共排也。夜占天將，盡屬土神，助起三傳之財，財則旺矣。然貪戀此財，財必生起干上亥水，反克丁干。災乃不免也。

In the daytime, the nobleman is on the day stem, and at night, the nobleman is on the day branch, indicating two noblemen standing side by side. For night divination, the heavenly generals are all earth deities, assisting the three transmissions to form a metal circle with the wealth hexagram. The wealth energy is thus extremely strong. However, if one is overly fond of this wealth, the strong metal will generate亥 water on the day stem, which in turn will overcome the ding fire, inevitably leading to misfortune.

斷曰：金局作財，破碎為用，必須將本求財，可以發福，否則攜財告貴，納粟奏名，皆為吉占。但防家中婢女口舌。

Triple Harmony and the wealth hexagram are in play, with the broken spirit initiating the transmission. One must use their capital to engage in business in order to gain blessings; otherwise, if one goes about seeking the nobleman's favor or pays taxes to attain official status, these are also auspicious signs. However, one must beware of domestic servants causing disputes.

天時：晝貴臨亥剋日，三傳生水，即有雨。家宅：與貴人交往則吉，可以發貴，祈神保護。功名：晝貴臨身，支干拱祿，仕則升遷，試必得意。求財：當因貴人文書得財。

Heavenly Time: The nobleman is present at亥 and attacks the day stem, while the three transmissions form a metal structure that generates water, indicating rain immediately. Family Residence: Interaction with the nobleman brings good fortune, leading to prestige, and it is suitable to pray for divine protection. Official Rank: The nobleman is present during the day, with the stem and branch enclosing the禄神, indicating that officials may expect promotion and those taking exams will achieve their desires. Seeking Wealth: Wealth will be obtained through the recommendation of the nobleman or through documents and contracts.

婚姻：兩貴結縭，女益男家。胎產：陰極生男，胎坐長生，難產。疾病：脾腎兩經受病，先凶後吉。出行：出門獲財。行人：遊興正濃。捕獲：晝占在南，夜占在東，皆有喜事。兵戰：所聞不實，防有中變。

Marriage: Two noblemen form a marital bond, benefiting the woman's family. Pregnancy: When yin reaches its extreme, yang is born, indicating a male fetus; although the fetal deity is seated in the position of growth, there will still be difficulty in childbirth. Disease: Both the spleen and kidney meridians are affected, starting with danger but eventually turning to good fortune. Travel: Going out can bring wealth. Traveler: A person away from home is in high spirits. Capture: During the day, the thief is in the south; at night, in the east, both situations bring good news. Warfare: The military news heard is not reliable, and one should be cautious of unexpected changes in the middle of the journey.

畢法云：課傳俱貴轉無依，傳財化鬼財休覓，合中犯殺蜜中砒。神定經云：三合犯殺，如笑裡藏刀，好中帶惡。集義云：支上生干上神作鬼，不利干謁。占人年命在午，兩貴拱定，必得兩貴成就，占試必中高魁。三車一覽云：四課三傳，皆是貴人，名曰遍地貴人。貴多者不貴，凡占不能歸一，所無倚依。如用夜貴，又名咄目煞，如貴人咄日專視，反坐罪也。大不利於告貴，占訟尤凶。

The *Bifa Fu* says: If there are too many noblemen in the lesson and the three transmissions, one will find no support; if the wealth in the three transmissions transforms into official ghosts, there is no need to seek wealth further; ifInauspicious Sha are hidden in the triple harmony, it is like poison added to honey. The *Shending Jing* says: If triple harmony is violated byInauspicious Sha, it is like a knife hidden in a smile, good things mixed with evil. The *Ji yi* says: If the heavenly stem on the day branch is connected to the heavenly stem on the day stem, and that heavenly stem is an official ghost, it is unfavorable for seeking help. If the person's age and birth year are in the hour of Wu, and they are between two noblemen, they will certainly receive the support of two noblemen, and will certainly pass the examination with high rank. The *Sancha Yilan* says: If all four lessons and three transmissions are noblemen, it is called "noblemen everywhere"; too many noblemen are not really noble, and all divinations will not converge, leaving no support. If the night nobleman is used, it is called "duomu sha", like noblemen staring directly, which will lead to trouble, and is very unfavorable for seeking help from noblemen, especially in legal cases.

課體：重審，元胎，斬關。課義：舍去疑慮，其財可取，因此求生，宜文宜武。

The three elements of the lesson pattern are: "Re-examination"; "Original Fetus" based on theFetal Spirit initiating transmission; and "Cutting the Gate" involving a conflict with the丁 horse. The meaning of the lesson states: the戌墓 on the day stem only causes suspicion, so it should be disregarded; the申 metal wealth爻 on the day branch is the one to take; following this wealth to seek a path, whether in literature or military, is suitable.

解曰：戌為火墓，覆於日上，疑慮太甚，宜舍而去之。申為日財、臨於宅上，又作發用，其財最可取也。如能棄墓而就初財，則迤邐生干，必受其益。宜文宜武者，寅為天吏主文，申為天城主武也。

Xu is the storage for fire, lying over the day stem, causing only suspicion and hesitation, leading one to abandon it altogether. Shen metal is the wealth trigram for Ding day, located at the dwelling position and acting as the initiating transmission, making this wealth most valuable. If one can abandon the storage deity and follow the first transmission's wealth, the wealth will continuously generate the day stem, resulting in definite benefit. The phrase "suitable for both literary and military affairs" is because Yin represents the heavenly official and governs literary matters, while Shen represents the heavenly city and governs military affairs.

斷曰：寅為旬首，亥為旬尾。寅加於亥，現於中末，兩傳首尾相見，終始咸宜。且三傳遞生日干，必有上人薦舉。元胎之課，病忌老幼，謂之棄故生新，又名駝尸煞。最為不利。

Yin is the first stem of the current ten-stem cycle, and Hai is the last. Yin is placed on top of Hai, and appears in both the Middle Transmission and the Final Transmission. The two transmissions connect head to tail, and everything from beginning to end is harmonious. With the Three Transmissions each successively increasing the Day Stem, there will certainly be someone of higher status who recommends the person. However, this is a lesson of the original seed, and it is most unfavorable for predicting illness, as it is called 'discarding the old to produce the new,' also known as 'camel corpse evil,' which is extremely inauspicious.

天時：墓神覆日，太陽被掩，水母發用，先雨後風。家宅：宅上財神作病受克，妻防有患。功名：官貴德馬入傳，秋冬大吉。求財：宜守宅內之財。婚姻：日上乘墓，男家不吉。

Heavenly conditions: The spirit of the tomb is pressing upon the day stem, the sun is obscured, and the water spirit which governs rain is acting as the initiating transmission. Rain will come first, then wind will arise. Family residence: The wealth spirit of the house is accompanied by sickness and is being overcome, so be careful of the wife's illness. Official rank: The official star, nobleman, heavenly virtue, and post-horse all enter the three transmissions; if this is divined in autumn or winter, it is very auspicious. Seeking wealth: It is advisable to keep the existing wealth within the house. Marriage: The day stem is occupied by the spirit of the tomb, which is inauspicious for the male side.

胎產：二陽包陰，孕當育女，天絆地結，占產不宜。疾病：脾腎受傷，凶多吉少。出行：墓臨，不能動身。行人：未戌日到。捕獲：在東南。兵戰：利於後應。

Conception and childbirth: Two yang elements surrounding one yin, indicating a female fetus; there is a heavenly restraint above and a terrestrial obstruction below, making childbirth unfavorable. Illness: Both the spleen and kidney are injured, with more bad than good omens. Travel: The tomb deity is directly in front, making movement difficult. Travelers: Will arrive on the sixth or ninth day. Capture: The person is in the southeast direction. Warfare: Advantage lies in striking after the opponent.

畢法云：三傳遞生人舉薦，將逢內戰所謀危，華蓋覆日人昏晦。課經云：六合內戰為發用者，事將成合，有人作擾。集義云：六合內戰，主子息有災，或媒人說合姻事。玉女通神訣云：順道用傳母前子，失禮還從子傳母，順即為和逆即疑，此是三傳真訣語。又云：用死終生吉相聚。

The *Bi Fa Fu* says: When the three transmissions follow each other in succession, it indicates that one will receive recommendations from others; when the Heavenly General meets internal conflict, the affairs in question will be in danger; when Huagai covers the day stem, human affairs will be confused and unclear. The *Ke Jing* explains: When internal conflict occurs within theLiu He and the initiating transmission is involved, the matter seems to be about to succeed, but someone will interfere. The *Ji Yi* says: Internal conflict within theLiu He indicates misfortune for children, or it may be related to marriage matters through a matchmaker. The *Yu Nu Tong Shen Jue* says: When the transmissions proceed in order, it is mother first and son later; when they go against the order, it is son first and mother later; following the order brings harmony, while going against it causes suspicion. This is the true secret regarding the three transmissions. It also says: Even if the initiating transmission is in a dead or declining position, it will eventually reach a position of growth, indicating that good things will gather together.

課體：重審，勵德，不備，間傳。課義：夜貴多嗔、破敗財婚、晝貴閉口、力弱言輕。

The four aspects of the lesson pattern are: "Re-examination"; taking the "Lide" (cultivating virtue) from the hidden spirit of the day stem; "Incompleteness" due to incomplete four lessons; and "Intermittent Transmission" where the three transmissions are spaced apart. The lesson meaning states: noblemen at night are often angry; wealth and marriage are ruined; noblemen in the day remain silent; strength is weak and words lack weight.

解曰：酉為夜貴，臨干受克，貴必嗔怒。又為丁火之妻財，卻逢破碎，故曰破敗財婚。亥貴為旬尾，閉口而臨敗地，故力弱言輕，干亦無力也。

The酉 metal is the nobleman of the night, but when it is adjacent to the day stem, it is overcome by the day stem, causing the nobleman to become angry.酉 is also the wife and wealth of the丁 fire, yet it encounters the breaking god, so both wealth and marriage are ruined. The亥 water nobleman is at the end of the current ten-day period, forming a closed mouth pattern and being in a declining position, thus it is weak and unable to speak effectively, causing the day stem to also lose its strength.

斷曰：課傳五陰，事主幽暗，兩貴相加，名曰遍地貴人。貴多反為不貴。又傳財化鬼，須防因財致禍。末傳雖助初財，丑空無力，惟丑年月占之，則財貴兩美矣。

The four lessons and three transmissions consist of five yin elements, indicating that the matter is obscure and unclear. With two noblemen added, it is called "noblemen everywhere," but having too many noblemen makes them less valuable. Also, the wealth in the three transmissions transforms into official ghosts, so one should beware of trouble caused by wealth. Although the final transmission can generate and support the initial transmission's wealth, the fall of the earth dog (丑) into emptiness prevents it from being effective. Only when the divination is done in the year or month of 丑 can wealth and noblemen both be achieved.

天時：課傳皆陰，畢宿臨日，多雨少晴。家宅：防有官非，凡事宜於下人。功名：秋冬占之吉，尤利占試。求財：財爻臨身發用，不求自得，亦有破耗。

Heavenly Conditions: All four lessons and three transmissions are yin, with the Net mansion also approaching the day stem, indicating frequent rain and little sunshine. Family Residence: Be cautious of legal disputes and conflicts; it is advisable to entrust matters to subordinates. Official Rank: It is favorable to seek fortune in autumn and winter, especially beneficial for examinations. Seeking Wealth: The wealth element is attached to the self and serves as the initiating transmission, meaning wealth will come without seeking, but there will be unavoidable losses.

婚姻：干上乘破，可以出贅。胎產：陰極陽生，孕凶產吉。疾病：脾家受傷，先重後輕。出行：不利。行人：即有信。捕獲：東南東北積賊，捕之防有傷損。兵戰：破碎臨干不利。

Marriage: The day stem is occupied by the broken spirit, which suggests that the man moving into the woman's family may still be acceptable. Pregnancy: When yin reaches its extreme, it turns into yang, so the period of carrying the child is dangerous but delivery is favorable. Disease: Injury to the spleen, initially severe but then lessening. Travel: Unfavorable. Traveler: There will be news soon. Capture: There are habitual thieves in the northeast and southeast; when capturing them, one should beware of injury. Warfare: The broken spirit is on the day stem, which is unfavorable.

畢法云：課傳俱貴轉無依，晝夜貴加求兩貴。秘要云：求財三日為期，凡占當日即有成局。纂要云：占人年命在申，必中高甲，亦宜告貴用事。纂義云：有頭無尾，凡事止息，小人招凶，君子得吉。課經云：兩貴相加，事必干涉兩貴，然後成就。同官占之，則為以貴渴貴，不相阻隔。精蘊云：破碎發用，非求財不遂，必見破財。惟利經紀牙行，空手可得。

The "Bifa Fu" says: In the divination transmission, if there are too many noblemen, one will find no support; when both day and night noblemen are present, it is advisable to seek help from two noblemen at the same time. The "Miyao" says: When seeking wealth, the limit is three days; generally, the fortune can be determined on the same day. The "Zuanyao" says: If the person's birth year and destiny are in the hour of Shen, he is destined for high-ranking academic success, and it is also advisable to seek help from noblemen. The "Zuanyi" says: Having a head but no tail, all matters will be abandoned halfway; small people bring misfortune, while virtuous people gain good fortune. The "Kejing" says: When two noblemen are combined, the matter must involve both noblemen to be completed; when a colleague seeks divination, it means acting as a nobleman to meet another nobleman, and there will be no obstruction. The "Jingyun" says: When the broken god is the initiating transmission, it is either that the request for wealth will not be fulfilled or that there will certainly be loss of wealth; only those engaged in trade, commerce, or brokerage will benefit, and they can even make a profit without any capital.

課體：重審，進茹。課義：交車和順，求財急進，病訟因貪，晝貴休近。

The lesson pattern is "Chong Shen" and "Jin Ru," which refers to the three transmissions advancing step by step. The meaning of the lesson states: when the heavenly stems and earthly branches meet and combine, they are harmonious with each other; for seeking wealth, one should act promptly; for divination on illness or disputes, misfortune arises from greed; the nobleman appearing in the daytime should not be approached, as doing so may provoke anger.

解曰：巳與申，午與未，交車相合，何其和順也。申為日財，取之宜急，少緩則為酉所敗，為戌所墓，便勞心力矣。三傳俱財，必將由貪取禍。占病占訟，俱不相宜。晝貴亥水，臨戌入獄，慎莫近之，恐生嗔也，

The trine between Si and Shen, and between Wu and Wei, with the day stem and day branch forming a harmonious connection, is very harmonious. Shen metal is the wealth element for Ding day, so it should be seized quickly. If delayed even slightly, it will be ruined by You metal or stored away by Xu earth. At that point, obtaining it will require great effort. The three transmitters are all wealth elements, indicating a tendency to be greedy, which will bring misfortune. Therefore, this is not suitable for divination regarding illness or litigation. The nobleman in the daytime is Hai water, which is located on Xu earth, equivalent to being in prison. One must absolutely avoid approaching him, to prevent angering him.

斷曰：進茹之課，類成西方金局，傳財太旺，反致財虧。旺祿臨支，上乘龍合吉神，大利求婚卜吉，更宜合本營生。春夏占之，財值休囚，方能獲利，

The divination shows that the three transmissions progress step by step, forming a Western Metal pattern. The wealth energy is excessively strong, leading to an overabundance that eventually results in a loss of wealth. A prosperous and auspicious official is located in the day branch, with the Azure Dragon and Liu He, which are favorable deities, riding upon it. This is most beneficial for seeking marriage or auspicious matters, and also suitable for joint business ventures. If the divination is done in spring or summer, when wealth is naturally weak and confined, it can actually result in profit.

天時：青龍乘脫，水母被克，不能得雨。家宅：必有喜慶事。功名：貴人被墓，占名欠利。求財：財帛雖多，取之宜節。

Heavenly conditions: The Azure Dragon is riding on a spirit of departure, and the water god who brings rain is being overcome, so rain will not come. Family affairs: There must be joyful events in the family. Achievements: The Nobleman is restrained by the Storage, indicating a lack of benefit in matters of reputation. Seeking wealth: Although there is much money, its use should be controlled with moderation.

婚姻：交車相合，占女尤吉。胎產：女孕產速。疾病：因喜得病，遲即難愈。出行：不宜。行人：即至。捕獲：在東北方孝服人家。兵戰：唯宜謹守，不宜合戰。

Marriage: When the heavenly stems and earthly branches intersect and harmonize, it is especially auspicious for the woman's side. Pregnancy: A female fetus is carried, and delivery is quick. Disease: Illness arises from joyful matters, and if left untreated for long, it will be difficult to recover. Travel: Not advisable. Traveler: Will arrive soon. Capture: A person in the northeast direction is wearing mourning clothes. Warfare: Only cautious defense is advisable, not direct confrontation.

畢法云：所謀多拙逢羅網，交車相合交關利。纂義云：主客雖和，枉自張羅，隨財入墓，驚恐尤多。會通云：傳財化鬼，占病者必因傷食而得。若年命上有制財者可救，無制者不救，秋冬占亦無救。指掌賦云：日克三傳，求財可美。又云：傳見妻財利益多。又云：三傳純妻財而父母克害。課經云：干支各乘旺氣，名為羅網，止利守己，不利動謀。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When encountering heaven net and earth trap, most plans are clumsy; when the heavenly stem and earthly branch meet and combine, trade and transactions are beneficial. The "Zanyi" says: Although the host and guest are harmonious, it is just a useless effort; when wealth follows the day stem into its tomb, fear and anxiety are especially great. The "Huitong" says: When the three transmissions transform wealth into official ghosts, the illness is certainly caused by accumulated damage from food and drink; if there is a god that can control wealth in the row year and birth year, it can be saved, but if not, it cannot be saved, and even if it is divined in autumn and winter, there is no salvation. The "Zhipang Fu" says: When the day stem controls the three transmissions, seeking wealth is favorable; it also says that when the three transmissions see wife wealth, benefits are numerous; it also says that when all three transmissions are wife wealth, the parents' generation will be harmed. The "Ke Jing" says: When the day stem and day branch each ride on strong energies, it is called a net, which is only beneficial for maintaining oneself, but not favorable for taking action or making plans.

課體：伏吟，元胎。課義：末助初生，迤邐相侵，初丁中馬，佛口蛇心。

The lesson pattern refers to the "hidden chant" where each deity remains in its original position, and the "primordial embryo" where the fetal deity initiates the transmission. The lesson meaning states: the final transmission assists the initial transmission in benefiting the day stem, yet the three transmissions progressively interfere with each other. The initial transmission carries the Ding deity, and the middle transmission carries the post-horse. It appears benevolent like a Buddha's mouth, but inside it is as treacherous as a snake's heart.

解曰：末傳寅木，助起初傳巳火以生戊土，又為德祿臨身，課象可謂吉矣。但三傳遞克傷干，侵凌恐不能免也。初丁日祿，中馬支財，財祿之動，仕宦所宜。但恃己之剛，仗勢凌人，以致末傳之寅，先助巳以生干，後遞克以傷干。一為佛口，一為蛇心，何其險哉。

The final transmission is寅 wood which assists the initial transmission巳 fire, and巳 fire then goes on to generateWu Earth. Both寅 and巳 are the virtue spirits and the禄 of戊 day, so the divination image is favorable. However, the three transmissions proceed in a sequence of mutual overcoming, which harms the day stem. Being bullied and oppressed is likely to happen. The initial transmission is both遁丁 and the禄 of the day, while the middle transmission is both the post-horse and the wealth of the day branch. The movement of wealth and禄 is exactly what officials and government servants need. But if one relies on strength and bullies others, the寅 wood in the final transmission will change from previously assisting巳 to generate the day stem, into later mutual overcoming and harming the day stem. On one side is a Buddha's mouth, on the other is a snake's heart, how dangerous it is.

斷曰：伏吟本靜，傳遇丁馬，即為極動之象。破碎在干，羊刃在支，雖生皆有可畏。勾陳捧印，白虎入廟，螣蛇生角，大利求官見貴，當有恩命頻頒，餘亦難中有解。

Hidden Chant originally signifies stillness and defense, but when the three transmissions meet the god Ding and the post-horse, it becomes a very active situation. The broken god is in the day stem, and the yangren is in the day branch; although there is mutual generation, they are still cause for concern. Gou Chen holding the seal, White Tiger returning to its native place, and Teng Snake with a horn on its head—these patterns are highly favorable for seeking official positions and meeting noblemen, indicating repeated imperial decrees. Other matters also have solutions amidst difficulties.

天時：朱雀生日，青龍剋日，晴而不雨。家宅：晝占青龍乘旺，宜於見喜。夜占蛇乘羅網，驚恐難避。功名：吉凶相半。求財：宜守己財，外財難得。婚姻：晝占可就。

Heavenly Time: Vermilion Bird is in harmony with the day stem, Azure Dragon overcomes the day stem, indicating clear weather without rain. Family Residence: If the divination is done during the day with Azure Dragon in a strong position, it is suitable for good news; if done at night with Teng Snake riding the heavenly net and earthly net, there will be fear and difficulty to avoid. Achieving Merit: Equal chances of good and bad fortune. Seeking Wealth: It is advisable to keep existing wealth, as external wealth is hard to obtain. Marriage: If the divination is done during the day, it can lead to a successful marriage.

胎產：子息屬陽，產期尚遠。疾病：肝與心經受病，久病凶，宜祈禱。出行：晝占水陸皆可，夜占不利。行人：立至。捕獲：本家或親戚家，奴僕作賊，尚未出戶。兵戰：未見有利。墳葬：艮坤龍向，生干大吉。

Twinning: The child belongs to the yang, indicating a male fetus, and the time of birth is still early. Illness: Both the liver meridian and the heart meridian are affected, and if the illness persists, it is ominous; it is advisable to pray. Travel: During the day, it is favorable to travel by water or land, but at night it is unfavorable. Travelers: They will arrive immediately. Capture: The thief is within the family or among relatives, committed by a servant, and the person has not yet left home. Warfare: There is no apparent advantage. Burial: Take the approach of the mountain (Gen) facing the earth (Kun), which can benefit the day stem, and it is very auspicious.

畢法云：任信丁馬須言動，三傳互克眾人欺。指南：辛未酉時占仕宦，曰：朝官占此，防臺諫之封章，得好旨歸里。蓋因傳將互克，太陽無光，豈能久居廊廟。喜朱雀德祿生日，故得溫旨歸里也。後果因人言請告而歸。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the Ding stem meets the Post-horse, it indicates movement; if the three transmissions mutually control each other, it signifies being bullied by many people. The "Liu Ren Zhi Nan" records a case: On the day of Xinwei with the hour of You, a divination was made about official career. The diviner said that if a person in official position encountered this lesson, he should beware of secret memorandums from the censors, but eventually he would receive a favorable imperial decree allowing him to return home. The three transmissions and the Heavenly General mutually control each other, the sun loses its brightness, so he cannot stay in court long. Fortunately, the Vermilion Bird brings the virtue god and the禄 god to be born with the day stem, thus obtaining a mild imperial decree to return home. Later, he indeed took leave due to others' criticism and returned home.

課體：元首，退茹，不備，斬關。課義：昏晦其身，宅鎮丁神，鬼居墓上，招呼病人。

Lesson Pattern includes four items: "Original Head" (Yuan Shou); "Retreating茹" (Tui Ru), which refers to the three transmissions gradually retreating; "Incompleteness" (Bu Bei), indicating the four lessons are not complete; and "Cutting the Gate" (Zhan Guan), which involves the presence of the Ding and Ma conflicting with the gate. The lesson meaning states: the tomb god covers the sun, indicating the person is confused and unclear; the Ding god is stationed on the house, causing the building to shake; the official ghost is hidden in the storage, specifically attracting sick people to come.

解曰：墓神覆日，身昏晦也。遁丁臨支，宅動搖也。卯為日鬼，潛於墓中，以招呼病人。占病必死。且三傳俱鬼，仕宦所宜，常人所畏。

TheTomb Spirit covers and presses down on the day stem, causing the person to naturally be confused and dull. The丁 god from the ten-day cycle hides in the day branch, making the family dwelling unstable and unsettled. The卯 wood is the official ghost for a戊 day, hidden within the storage, specifically attracting illness, so when predicting illness, it is definitely untreatable. Moreover, all three transmissions are official ghosts, which officials would find useful, but ordinary people can only feel fear.

斷曰：退茹之課，末傳空亡，退則蹈空，進則逢墓，進退維谷之象。三傳雖是全鬼傷身，卻能斬關破墓，患由此而得，晦亦由此而解。用神值破，事難速成。干祿臨支，權非由己。春夏鬼當旺相，事易了結。秋冬木氣休囚，為窮鬼牽纏，禍患更甚。

The textbook suggests retreating, but the final transmission falls in Kongwang, so retreating would lead to emptiness; advancing meets theTomb Spirit, indicating a situation of being stuck between two difficulties. Although the three transmissions are all about official ghosts harming the body, they can break through barriers and remove the墓 - thus, the disaster originates here, and the confusion is resolved here. The useful god meets the breaking god, making it difficult for things to be completed quickly. The day stem's禄神 is located in the day branch, indicating that authority is not in one's own hands. In spring and summer, official ghosts are strong, so matters are easily concluded; but in autumn and winter, the wood energy is weak and confined, leading to纠缠 by poor spirits, and the disaster becomes even heavier.

天時：墓神覆日，太陽被掩，陰晦之象。家宅：德神居宅，家必富饒，巳乘遁丁，動搖不免。功名：春占大吉。求財：止宜食祿，外財難得。婚姻：女吉男凶。

Heavenly conditions: The tomb god covers the day stem, the sun is obscured, indicating a gloomy and dark appearance. Family residence: The virtue god presides over the residence position, ensuring the family's wealth, but the god of the fourth heaven is riding on the fourth heaven, causing some instability. Achievements: It is very auspicious to seek fortune in spring. Wealth: It is only suitable to rely on salary for daily living, and external wealth is difficult to obtain. Marriage: It is auspicious for the woman, but inauspicious for the man.

胎產：男喜，易產，恐不育。疾病：心火受病，甚凶。出行：不宜起程。行人：戊日即至。遺失：家人竊去，即有家人沖破。捕獲：賊在正西孝服女人家。兵戰：當防侵犯，夜占尤凶。

Pregnancy and childbirth: If carrying a male child, it is a happy omen, and delivery will be easy, but there is fear that the child may not survive. Disease: Heart fire is the illness, which is very dangerous. Travel: It is not advisable to go on a journey. Travelers: The person will arrive on the fifth day of the Wu stem. Lost items: The item was stolen by a family member, and soon the family member will be caught. Capture: The thief is hiding in the house of a woman in mourning in the direction of due west. Warfare: One should be on guard against an attack from the enemy, especially if the divination is done at night.

畢法云：華蓋覆日人昏晦，權攝不正祿臨支，避難逃生須棄舊。課經云：戌為天魁，亥為天門，凡魁度天門，謀為有阻。集義云：卯乘朱雀，臨辰發用，主口舌文書之事。照膽秘訣云：日陰剋日日戴墓，暗鈍抑塞多齟齬。心印賦云：日辰上見墓神加，病者無痊災可嗟。

The "Bifa Fu" states: When Huagai covers and presses upon the day stem, human affairs become confused and unclear; when the official star is present at the day branch, authority is held by another and the proper position is not maintained; to avoid difficulties and escape, one must abandon everything old. The "Ke Jing" explains: Xu is the heavenly魁, Hai is the heavenly door; whenever the heavenly魁 crosses over the heavenly door, all endeavors will encounter obstacles. The "Ji Yi" says: When卯 wood is ridden by the Vermilion Bird and arrives at辰 to initiate transmission, it indicates matters related to speech and documents. The "Zhaochan Miaoji" states: When the hidden god of the day stem attacks the day stem, and the day stem is wearing the tomb god, it indicates dullness and blockage, with conflicts everywhere. The "Xinyin Fu" says: When the tomb god is present on both the day stem and day branch, the sick person will find it difficult to recover, and calamity is lamentable.
