Charting guides: Da Liu Ren Chart Calculator, Jin Kou Jue Chart

The lesson pattern is involved with "Shihai", "Quzhi", and also "Du'e" (three transmissions sandwiching branches that are separated, indicating separation from family) and "Lide". The lesson meaning says: the god of destruction and ruin is pressing upon oneself, and the already hidden Ji earth is also harming the day branch; if the lesson is cast at night, then earth generates metal, and metal nourishes water, which pleases officials and common people.

The day stem is afflicted by the破碎煞, which is also the god of defeat and loss. The hiddenJi Earth in 未 is present, located on the house and thus it harms the house, which is unfavorable on both sides. The three transmissions form a wood pattern, which would normally drain and weaken the day stem. Fortunately, there is 酉 gold to control the wood. If the night general is used, Tai Chang, Nobleman, and Gou Chen are all earth elements, which generate 酉 gold, and 酉 gold in turn supports the day stem. Officials encountering this situation have the official star nurturing the seal, achieving both power and position. Even for ordinary people, the official ghost turns into life qi, so all divinations are favorable, and both officials and common people are pleased.

The divination indicates that matters are fraught with difficulties and dangers, as three of the four lessons are being attacked by the upper gods. The younger and inferior individuals will encounter obstacles. Fortunately, the day stem and day branch are flanking the Zi position of the禄神 on the Earth Plate, providing support. Additionally, the three transmissions have all transformed into wood, which generates the巳 fire wealth爻 in the lesson. This is favorable for seeking official salary and also auspicious for wealth. Sitting and planning is beneficial, and taking action is also appropriate.

Heavenly Conditions: All three transmissions belong to wood, indicating wind will arise. Home: When divining at night, Tai Chang is present above the house and overcomes it, which is sure to result from feasting and drinking, leading to misfortune. Official Rank: The official star generates the seal, which is very beneficial. Seeking Wealth: There will be some gain. Marriage: Divining at night is auspicious, but if divining during the day, the couple will not live together until old age. Pregnancy and Childbirth: The transmissions are all yin branches, and when yin reaches its extreme, it turns to yang, indicating the fetus is male and childbirth will be easy. Disease: The illness arises from dietary injury or kidney qi deficiency with liver qi excess, although it may last for a long time, no serious incident will occur. Loss: It is not due to thieves stealing, but rather due to losing things while handling documents or meeting noblemen. Travel: The day stem and day branch have a mutual generation relationship, and the three transmissions form a triple harmony, which is very auspicious. A Person on the Way: The post-horse is present at the gate, indicating the person will arrive soon. Warfare: Be cautious of the enemy's deception and be extremely careful.

The Two Verses from the "Bi Fa Fu" apply to this divination: six yin branches follow each other consecutively, resulting in a path of confusion and obscurity; although many ghosts are apparent, they are not really fearsome. The "Ke Jing" states that when the亥 branch is added, it serves as the initiating transmission, and the three transmissions form a wood pattern, which releases and drains the qi of the癸 water day stem. Originally, there is no day ghost in this divination, so how can it be classified under the category of "although many ghosts are apparent"? The reason is that during night divination, the heavenly generals accompanying the three transmissions are all of the earth type, which collectively attack the day stem. However, the wood pattern restrains them, which is called the pattern of "releasing qi as a rescue." The "Yu Yao Shi" says that the three transmissions are named "curved and straight," with wood representing wind, and this is often associated with windy weather.

On the Guihai day, sixth arrangement, the dry branch is on Shen.

The lesson pattern is "Zhi Yi" (two of the four lessons are the same, and the one that harmonizes with the day stem is used as the initiating transmission), "Zhuo Lun" (the three transmissions decrease step by step from the final to the initial, like a craftsman shaping a wheel), and "Si Jue" with "Zhu Yi" (the three transmissions form a metal pattern, like melting metal to cast a seal, indicating the attainment of official position). The lesson meaning states: the Shen, which is occupied by Yuan Wu and Bai Hu, coincides exactly with the day stem's growth; the two noble spirits, one is in prison and the other is being overcome, both have no intention to help; the power of the final transmission's Ding spirit and the post-horse is very weak; during the day, the Wu is occupied by Bai Hu, and the danger is indeed hard to bear.

Shen is the place of growth for Gui water. During the day, when taking the time, the nobleman is on top of Yuanwu, but at night, the nobleman is on top of Baihu. This merely adds much exhaustion and confusion. The nobleman during the day falls into the position of imprisonment, and at night, the nobleman is being overcome, with both hearts filled with resentment. Seeking them is of no use. The final transmission, Si, is both the post-horse and has the hidden Ding of the current ten-day period, but it enters the tomb and is invaded by stolen qi, thus being weak and unable to move. During the day, when setting the course, the official ghost Wu is on top of Baihu, reaching the extreme of danger, how can one bear it?

This divination lesson also includes the pattern of casting seals. The middle transmission is the deity that promotes official status, and the final transmission rides upon the post-horse, which symbolizes a high rise in official rank. If one seeks official position, it indicates that they will first experience some difficulties, but eventually achieve success. However, if the day stem and day branch interact in a harmful way, and the deity on the day branch overcomes the deity on the day stem, then the wife's wealth is harmed by the parents'爻. For ordinary people who cast this lesson, it is very unfavorable.

Heavenly conditions: First it clears up and then it starts to blow, with a slight hint of rain. Family home: The wealth hexagram is sandwiched between two others, and the Black Tortoise is located on the day stem and day branch, indicating loss, depletion, illness and legal disputes. Achievements: The seal and carriage are present, indicating promotion beyond normal ranks and receiving honors. Seeking wealth: Definitely satisfying. Marriage: The Azure Dragon transforms into a nobleman, indicating that the son-in-law will be a prestigious one; however, the wealth hexagram is sandwiched between two others, meaning the wife may not be able to live with the husband until old age. Pregnancy: The child is male, the delivery will be quick but there will be some danger. Illness: The White Tiger is located on the戌 position, indicating a severe illness; if there is another saving deity on the person's birth year, it will be okay. Travel: The post-horse comes with the day virtue, indicating that despite difficulties, the journey will be satisfactory. Missing persons: The person who has left will return immediately. Capture: The person can be captured near cemeteries and pits. Warfare: Advantageous in the night, not so in the day.

The Six Rules of the "Bifa Fu" apply to this divination: the Nobleman under the curtain indicates success in exams; the official promoter shows that taking office is imminent; the Heavenly General within indicates that matters under consideration are dangerous; on a water day encountering Ding indicates movement of wealth; if both the lesson and transmission are Noblemen, there is a lack of support; the White Tiger is adjacent to the Day Stem's ghost, indicating sudden misfortune. According to the "Shenyingsheng," the metal of Shen is seated on the tomb of Chou, and the night general is riding the White Tiger, indicating that the parents' tombs will surely have termites, leading to calamity; if the parents are still alive, it indicates illness; if Shen is also located on the dead qi and death deity of the month, the illness is severe and difficult to cure. The "Miyao" states that卯 (Mao) adjacent to申 (Shen) takes the initiating transmission, and the night nobleman within indicates internal strife caused by the nobleman; Wu (Wu) added to Hai (Hai), the fetal deity is in the绝 (jué) position and is being overcome, making it dangerous for predicting pregnancy or childbirth.

On the Guihai day, seventh arrangement: the dry branch is on Wei.

The lesson pattern is reverse chant, original embryo, and moral cultivation. The lesson meaning states: in the transmission of the lesson, there are three instances of the post-horse and three instances of the Ding spirit overlapping, indicating frequent and uncertain movements; two noblemen in day and night are both subdued, showing insufficient reliance on affection and support; the family residence requires relocation, and people face difficulties. This precisely reflects the nature of reverse chant and six clashes, characterized by instability and restlessness.

The day branch is occupied by the Dingsi god and the post-horse, with the first and final transmissions overlapping three times, causing mutual conflict and resulting in frequent and uncertain actions. The nobleman at day and night are coming and going but are being harmed, showing ill intentions, so it is not advisable to seek their help. Dingsi is originally the wealth hexagram for the癸 water, but the wealth in the three transmissions has transformed into official ghosts; if one goes to take it recklessly, it will instead promote the己 earth hidden in the unmarked position of the day stem, leading to a decline in both body and home, and causing relocation and difficulties for the people, how can these be avoided?

Reverse Chant divination shows a卦 that is inherently discordant and contrary. Any matters being divined will inevitably be turbulent. The day's virtue and the wealth hexagram are both in the state of decline. It is advisable to decisively abandon the pursuit of wealth. If this divination is taken in the second lunar month, the official ghost hexagram is at death qi and rides Tai Chang, indicating there will be mourning within the family.

Heavenly Conditions: Both the lesson and transmission are yin branches, with water rising and fire descending, indicating rain. Home: The house needs to be moved, and there is misfortune among the household members. Official Position: There is a transfer or change in position. Wealth: Wealth is present but accompanied by danger. Marriage: Reverse chant causes dispersion, and marriage negotiations will not succeed. Pregnancy: The fetus is male, and childbirth will be easy. Illness: Reverse chant indicates dispersion, and the illness will soon be cured. Travel: Auspicious, suitable for traveling by water. Traveler: The deity of the person and the post-horse have entered the house, and the person will arrive soon. Warfare: Both sides mutually control each other, and the outcome of the battle is uncertain.

The *Bifa Fu* says that if both day and night noblemen are afflicted, it is difficult to seek help from a nobleman. The *Gujian* records a case: when using the卯 (Mao) general at the丑 (Chou) hour to divinate travel, it was predicted that the journey would end in returning halfway. This is because the first transmission came from the house, then turned back in the middle, and the final transmission returned to the day branch, indicating that a close relative would die. The family would urgently send someone to call him back, and there would be someone in the family wearing mourning clothes. The day stem represents external matters; since it was not added with癸 (Gui) and was riding on Tai Chang, it indicated incoming mourning clothes. Tai Yin represents the death of female relatives, and since it was riding on巳 (Si), which is the wife's wealth, it meant the elder of the wife's side. Later, it was confirmed. The *Kijing* records another case: in the second month, with戌 (Xu) general at the辰 (Chen) hour, the wife divined her husband's illness. It was predicted that the wife's year stem was riding on Huagai and Tai Chang, which was exactly the day stem's official ghost, combined with dead qi as a mourning guest, like a mourning cloth covering the wife's head, meaning the husband's illness would surely be fatal. If this had been divined in the eighth month, when the earth was in theLife Qi (life qi) phase, it would have only meant that the mourning clothes were not yet completed. The *Keyingjing* says that the Ding god is active, entering the house and approaching the gate, indicating that people will move, the family will change, and there will be much toil and unrest.

On the Guihai day, the eighth arrangement: dry morning

The lesson pattern is a combination of re-examination and cutting the gate. The lesson meaning states: within the four lessons, the branches Chen, Wu, You, and Hai are arranged, each of these branches self-punishes, indicating self-inflicted grievances. The nobleman of day and night are positioned on both sides, living in close proximity. The spirit of the tomb covers the dwelling, resulting in a dim and confused state for the family home.

The four lessons and three transmissions are all instances of self-punishment, indicating that the problem does not come from others attacking, but rather from internal resentment. If this is about a legal dispute, it certainly means family members fighting among themselves, each harboring jealousy.卯 represents the night nobleman, and巳 represents the day nobleman; they are on either side of亥, the house position, forming two noblemen adjacent to each other, which can be used to seek help from the nobleman. However, the tomb deity is located on the day branch, and both day and night are governed by the heavenly empress. If this divination is done in the seventh month, the blood branch, blood taboo, and month aversion all fall on辰, indicating that there must be malevolent spirits causing trouble in the house, and all trade activities are forbidden.

The review lesson shows that there is no harmonious energy between the lesson and the transmission. All matters are unsmooth. The first transmission is first attacked by the lower spirits, and when it returns to its position on the earth plate, it is again attacked by the upper spirits. This is exactly what is meant by returning to the place of being attacked and going back still being attacked. In such a situation, even with the bravery of a tiger-soldier, there is no way to display it.

Heavenly Conditions: Water vapour rises and fire vapour descends; the Horn mansion points to the yin position, indicating rain. Family Residence: The tomb spirit covers the house, leading to a dark family situation and confusion in affairs. Achievements: Unfavorable. Seeking Wealth: The wealth element is adjacent to the day stem and initiates transmission, so wealth can be obtained, but there will be much fear during the process. Marriage: Both the day stem and day branch have self-punishment, which is unfavorable. Pregnancy and Childbirth: The fetal spirit and wealth element are both adjacent to the day stem, and the divination and transmission elements mutually attack each other, resulting in a quick delivery but damage to the pregnancy. Illness: The illness is in the spleen meridian, which is very dangerous. Travel: Unfavorable. Traveler: The final transmission's tomb spirit has already returned to the house position, so the person will arrive soon. Warfare: Both sides will suffer injuries. Burial: The Azure Dragon is in a defective position, so burial often leads to injuries.

The *Bi Fa Fu* says that the host and guest cannot harmonize because the upper deities mutually injure each other. The *Liu Ren Zhi Nan* records a case: on a Guiyou day in the fourth lunar month, with the You general and the Chen hour, divining about a chief minister being impeached, it was judged that this lesson indicates a government official who must resign. Because the three transmissions and the heavenly general mutually control each other layer by layer, the daily virtue cannot restrain the injurious energy, which is the sign of villains rising and virtuous men retreating. Moreover, the禄神, Nobleman, 财爻, and The Post-horse all fall in empty or hidden positions, how can there be a good outcome? Furthermore, the night Nobleman is on the year's position, which already indicates an official in a闲散 position. After June, the daily禄 and Heavenly Horse conflict with the body and life, which is the date he leaves. Fortunately, the four tombs turn back to mutually generate, indicating a possibility of revival. Later, indeed, in June he returned to his hometown by riding the The Post-horse.

On the Guihai day, ninth division, the stem is on Si.

The lesson pattern is involved in the concept of "involvement of harm," "from reform" (the three transmissions form the metal triad of Si-You-Chou, symbolizing the nature of metal which can be cast and reshaped), and "overcoming hardship." The lesson meaning states: the spirit of Ding is accompanied by the post-horse, positioned on the day stem, with both day and night dignitaries assisting on either side; the action is swift due to matters concerning wealth; the heavenly general is凶 but the three transmissions are吉, forming a contrast between the two.

The branch Si is both the Post-horse and hides the stem Ding of the current ten-day period, and it is located on the day stem, acting as the wealth hexagram. Therefore, this movement is necessarily triggered by matters related to money or documents, with a very rapid onset that is difficult to stop. The day stem is the daytime nobleman, and the day branch is the nighttime nobleman, supporting the initial transmission's酉 metal on both sides, which is called two noblemen assisting. All three transmissions belong to metal, collectively generating and supporting the day stem, which is very auspicious; however, the heavenly general riding on the day is entirely earth deities, all of which are coming to overcome the day stem, which is very inauspicious. Therefore, it is said that the heavenly general is凶 while the three transmissions are吉.

The From-Revolution divination indicates a symbol of removing the old and adopting the new. Involving harm requires enduring hardship and going through difficulties, while crossing a dangerous path leads to separation from family and relatives. The matter being divined will involve change and separation, and one must not act rashly. If a person in official position divines this, even though the middle and final transmissions fall into emptiness, as long as the day general is active during the day, it forms a situation where the official star and the seal are mutually generating, resulting in great auspiciousness.

Heavenly Conditions: The three transmissions generate and support the day stem, indicating bright and clear weather for a distance of ten thousand miles. Family Residence: The energy of the residence is strong, and the population is prosperous and smooth. Achievements: Both day and night noble stars enclose the禄神, the day virtue is present on the day stem and is combined with the post-horse, and the three transmissions again generate in layers, which is highly favorable. Seeking Wealth: The wealth element is riding on the丁神 and the post-horse, acting as the day virtue on the day stem, so wealth will come naturally without the need to seek it. Visiting: The divination for the day is very auspicious. Marriage: The two families are of equal status, and can form a lasting and harmonious relationship. Pregnancy: The fetus is male, and the childbirth will be smooth. Traveling: Favorable. Traveler: The person who has gone out will not return. Capture: Easy to capture. Warfare: The three transmissions have the pattern of metal, which is suitable only for ceasing warfare and resting.

Two lines from the "Bi Fa Fu" apply to this divination: if the three transmissions are successively generated, someone will come forward to recommend; if the triple harmony and six harmonies containInauspicious Sha, it is like sweet honey mixed with arsenic. The "Gu Jian" records a case: a person born in the year of Zi, divined at the time of Chen hour and Zi branch, predicted that the three transmissions would successively generate up to the day stem, with the nobleman of the curtain (帘幕贵人) sitting on the day stem, and the day stem and day branch noblemen surrounding the heavenly stem of the year. That heavenly stem is also the Tiangang, so he would certainly pass the examination and rank first. Although the middle and final transmissions fall into Kongwang, they are exactly the native year, so they cannot be considered as Kongwang. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" says that the branches You, Chou, and Si are called献刃, and people near and far will be harmed by them. The "Yu Cheng Ge" says that if the Tian Kong initiates the transmission, the matter lacks evidence, and if the Gou Chen follows, someone will be involved in the matter from the middle.

On the Guihai day, the tenth layout: the stem is on the Chen position.

The lesson pattern is Yuan Shou, Jia Se, and Zhan Guan. The lesson meaning states: the tomb god Chen comes to injure the self, and the three transmissions, all earth elements, rise in anger together; this dangerous and critical situation can be resolved only because of the寅 wood supporting the day branch, so it is said that one must rely on family members.

The deceased's spirit is covered by the earth deity Chen on the day stem, which is strong enough to overcome the day stem and is taken as the first transmission. The three transmissions are all official ghosts. When divining at night, the upper aspect is occupied by Teng Snake and White Tiger, which indeed indicates a凶ous chart. Fortunately, there is a wooden寅 on the day branch, which can resist the multitude of ghosts. It is like a person already in a dangerous situation, suddenly encountering rescue and resolution. The chart interpretation refers to "family" because the wooden寅 is located in the house position.

The soil of cultivated land and farming is obstructed, indicating many blockages and stagnations in affairs. Moreover, the situation involves cutting off the gate, which signifies that one cannot remain in a stable place and must necessarily move. Fortunately, the Nobleman has blocked the door of the ghost, so although there are many ghosts and thieves, they dare not come out to cause trouble. A person in official position who divines this should strive forward to seek honor and distinction; ordinary commoners should retreat and protect themselves.

Heavenly conditions: The day stem is occupied by theTomb Spirit, and the sky is dark and gloomy. Family home: Illness and legal troubles come together, causing loss and also needing to be cautious of losing things. Achievements: The three transmissions are all official stars, which is very favorable. Seeking wealth: There will be some gain. Marriage: Unfavorable. Pregnancy: The fetus is female, the delivery is easy but difficult to raise. Illness: Insufficient kidney water or illness along the liver meridian. A doctor with the surname of wood element from the northeast can treat it. Travel: Not very satisfactory. Travelers: Those who have gone out will return soon. Capture: During the day, the thief is in the northeast; at night, the thief is in due north. Warfare: The side of the main party will win.

The *Bifa Fu* states that when the day stem is in its墓 (burial) and 关煞 (obstruction) appear together, both people and dwellings will be ruined (this refers to a situation in summer). The *Lunin Zhi Nan* records a case: a person with the general of午 (Wu) and the time of卯 (Mao) was divined to be accused, and it was predicted that the year stem would later overcome the day stem, displeasing the superior; relief could only come from someone with a surname belonging to the wood element, who would intervene to resolve the matter. The three transmissions were all official spirits, and the obstruction and burial spirits covered the day stem, so misfortune was inevitable. Fortunately, the day and night noblemen (贵人) supported the person, the virtue and fortune (福德) and the ritual spirit (仪神) were present in the day branch, and the丁 (Ding) spirit, the post-horse (驿马), and the nobleman and day virtue (日德) were all located in the person's own destiny. Moreover, this was an image of imperial decree; although the divination showed a dangerous situation, it could ultimately turn misfortune into good fortune. Later, it was indeed verified. The verification also records another case: a person with酉 (You) added to午 (Wu) was divined to decide whether to stay in the city or the countryside to avoid turmoil, and it was predicted that this lesson was most suitable for retirement. Staying in the countryside was certainly safe and auspicious, and staying in the city was not to be feared; because although the three transmissions were all official spirits and there were many thieves, the寅 (Yin) wood in the day branch was sufficient to control them, so there was no need to be afraid. Later, this also came true.

On Guihai day, the eleventh configuration: the sky pillar is on Mao.

The lesson pattern involves the elements of involvement in harm, incompleteness, intermediate transmission, and cultivating virtue, and also includes "going out of the door" (the three transmissions emerge from within to outside, taking positions across intervals, indicating leaving home and going abroad). The lesson meaning states that the two noblemen of day and night are gathered together, and the wealth hexagram and the post-horse are also in the same position. The final transmission supports the empty initial transmission of the official ghost, and the lesson transmission starts and ends in a cycle, leading to a continuous cycle of calamity and hardship.

The branch Si is the daytime nobleman, and the branch Mao is the nighttime nobleman. When Si is placed over Mao, the two noblemen come together. Si is also the wealth element for the癸 water, and it also includes the丁 deity and the post-horse. Several elements are combined on the same deity, so it is called cohabitation. The official ghost is riding on the day branch, which has fallen into emptiness, while the day stem is affected by real theft energy. The day stem is added to the day branch, and the day branch returns to the day stem, forming a circular connection between the lesson and the transmissions. Starting from the middle transmission, the energy of the day stem is released and drained, then it proceeds to the initial transmission, where the empty official ghost is generated to harm the day stem. The disaster and suffering cycle endlessly, which is indeed true.

The three transmissions are spaced apart and advancing in sequence, with the situation encountering obstructions, and the mind is uncertain and confused. The four lessons are not complete, so matters are often incomplete. However, as long as one remains seated and waits patiently, using the卯 wood hidden on the day stem to resist the丑 earth official ghost, although some of the wood's energy is drained, misfortune can be avoided. With noblemen assisting both day and night, it is most suitable to seek help from noblemen while carrying wealth. The final transmission was originally assisting the first transmission to overcome the day stem, but since the first transmission falls on kongwang, it cannot overcome the day stem, which is called "holding a rooster but not fighting," meaning holding a fighting rooster but unable to fight.

Heavenly Conditions: Clear weather. Family Residence: Indicates two families living together in the same house, with an unstable population and dwelling. Achievements: Initially dangerous, but later turns favorable. Wealth: Can be obtained. Marriage: Both the day stem and day branch are in an empty and declining position, which is unfavorable. Pregnancy: When yin reaches its extreme, it turns to yang, indicating a good omen for a male child, but there is danger during childbirth. Illness: Both the patient and the illness are in an empty and declining position; chronic illness is dangerous, but new illness will heal on its own without medication. Travel: Favorable. Traveler: A person who is away dealing with affairs will return successfully. Capture: The thief is hiding in the northeast direction. Warfare: Favorable for the guest army.

The Two Rules from the "Bifa Fu" apply to this divination: during the day and night, two noblemen are added, allowing the identification of two noblemen at the same time; if both the lesson and the transmission are noblemen, there is no support. The "Gujian" records a case: at the time of巳 (snake) in the morning, a divination was made for an examination, and it was predicted that the nobleman of the day was placed above the nobleman of the night, called "two noblemen facing the bright." The hour of卯 (rabbit) is the curtain nobleman; although not prominent at night, with the nobleman of the day added, there is an appearance of first being obscure and then bright. Moreover,Guihai is the last day of the six jia, and the day stem approaches the day branch, which is the fundamental origin from within; additionally, the curtain nobleman is present, so passing the examination is without doubt.

On Guihai day, the twelfth layout: the stem is on Yin.

The lesson pattern is Yuan Shou and Jin Ru, and also meets Kongwang. The lesson meaning says: the day stem and day branch mutually combine and harmonize with each other; although the three transmissions are officials and ghosts, they are restrained, so it is suitable to use them to remove calamities; during the day, when the hour of Chou is occupied by Tai Chang, Chou belongs to the Ox mansion, and Zi belongs to the Girl mansion, the Ox and Girl meet, so marriage affairs will naturally have a good matchmaker.

The wood of寅 on the day stem combines with the亥 on the day branch, and the water of子 on the day branch combines with the丑 beneath the day stem, indicating mutual harmony. However, although the禄神 is present on the day branch, it falls into empty void, and the day stem is actually occupied by real盗气. Although the initial transmission's official ghost is restrained by the middle and final transmissions, the wood that restrains it merely drains away the day stem, so it can only use this to remove misfortune. The子 and丑 belong to the female mansion and ox mansion respectively, and with丑 added to子, it becomes the initiating transmission, and above it is the Tai Chang, which is a sign of the meeting between the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid, indicating the presence of a good matchmaker.

The first lesson of the sovereign, the three transmissions proceed like pulling up a weed by its root, advancing in a continuous line. This signifies the subjugation of the inferior by the superior, moving from small beginnings to great success. However, the day stem and day branch each ride upon the heavenly net and earthly net. Any divination here favors caution and maintaining the status quo, rather than taking action or pursuing new endeavors. Although the day's fortune is present at the day's branch, during daytime divination it is occupied by the black tortoise, and during nighttime divination by the white tiger. This indicates that one may encounter worries and losses due to enjoying the benefits of official salary.

Heavenly circumstances: The mansion of Winnowing Basket is present on the day stem and enters the three transmissions. The mansion of Winnowing Basket governs wind, but when predicting rain, wind is obtained instead. Family residence: The day stem and day branch meet and form Liu He, people and the house are both smooth and prosperous, but one should beware of being deceived and suffering loss. Official position: The prosperous official star is present on the day branch, the appointed position must certainly be a deputy or assistant official. Seeking wealth: The official star falls into Kongwang, there is nothing to gain. Marriage: The meeting of day stem and day branch is harmonious, a marriage of the kind between Qin and Jin will certainly be successful.

Fetus and birth: The three transmissions are yin branches enclosing yang branches, and the day stem's heavenly stem differs from them, indicating a male child, but the delivery is very dangerous. Disease: The illness is in the heart and kidney meridians. A newly developed illness will soon recover, but if prolonged, it will be very severe. Loss: Lost items cannot be recovered. Travel: Unfavorable, and in reality, the journey will not take place. Travelers: The post-horse has entered the storage, and also encounters the heavenly net and earth net, so they have not yet departed. Warfare: There is an omen of losing troops, and caution is advisable. Burial: The禄神 (favorable deity) is present on the earth plate, indicating a promotion to wealth and honor.

Two lines from the "Bi Fa Fu" apply to this divination: encountering the Heavenly Net and Earthly Trap indicates that one's plans will mostly be clumsy; the禄神 (Lushen) is on the day branch, indicating taking on a proxy position with an improper status. The "Ke Jing" states that if the day stem is寅 (Yin) and the divination is done in the daytime, the day stem already meets the condition of being in decline, and the heavenly general is riding the Black Tortoise, which forms the "Tuo Dao" pattern. The "Zhen Zhang Fu" states that officials most fear the official star falling into emptiness; once the official star is empty, they cannot fulfill their term. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" states that the branches丑 (Chou), 寅 (Yin), and 卯 (Mao) are called "Jiang Tai," indicating a situation where one is about to become prosperous but has not yet achieved it, possessing only reputation without actual benefits. The "Xin Yin Fu" states that when 子 (Zi) and 丑 (Chou) are combined, matters will surely succeed, and if another auspicious general is present, it will turn into joy.
