The White Tiger is in the year's branch, and there are also names "Soul Transformation" and "Flying Soul." The lesson meaning says: the branch of the day is controlled by the stem of the day, and the three transmissions do not come out of the four lessons but cycle continuously. The nobleman of the day falls into the prison, and the night nobleman is in Kongwang, both failing to assist the stem of the day.

解曰：支臨干而克干，乃是上門亂首。日干見制，尤為不堪。三傳亥卯未不離四課，是謂循環不已，事主牽連不斷也。晝貴子臨辰上，既入於獄。夜貴申加子上，又陷於空。雖曰晝夜貴加，恐干之者，徒勞無益耳。

The day branch is on top of the day stem and also attacks the stem, which is called upper disorder and initial confusion. The day stem being attacked is especially difficult. The three transmissions of Hai, Mao, and Wei do not go beyond the four lessons, which is called a continuous cycle, indicating that the matter will involve many people. The day nobleman, Zi water, is on Chen and has already entered the prison; the night nobleman, Shen metal, is on Zi and has fallen into Kongwang. Although both day and night noblemen are in the lesson, if one seeks them for help, it will likely be in vain.

斷曰：此涉害之卦，合曲直之局。事主疑難，留滯。孟行不行，先直後曲，多算則勝，少算則敗。幸己日根固，春占甚宜也。四課不備，又傳逢后合，必有陰私不明。辰來剋日，上門亂首，亦象邪慝犯上，倘逢冬夏仲月，虎入行年，則為飛魂魄化，尤見凶咎，占者慎之。

This is a lesson of involvement and harm, forming a curved and straight wooden structure. The matter indicates difficulties and delays; one wants to move forward but cannot, first straight then curved, with much planning leading to success and little planning leading to failure. Fortunately, the day of Ji is firmly established, making it very suitable for a spring divination. The four lessons are incomplete, and the three transmissions meet the Heavenly Empress and Liu He, indicating certain matters of hidden secrets. The Chen branch harms the day, with the upper gate causing confusion, symbolizing wicked people offending the superior. If it occurs in the middle months of spring or summer, with the White Tiger entering the year's branch, it becomes a flying soul transformation, leading to greater misfortune. The person divining should be cautious.

天時：多風或陰雨。家宅：春吉，主多樹木，秋不利，防有奸私不明之事。婚姻：不宜。胎產：胎神坐墓，防有損。功名：可望顯達，春占尤吉。求財：甚微，防因財生咎。疾病：主疫氣，夜占虎臨干鬼甚凶。失脫：難獲。出行：投人吉，遠行有阻。行人：即歸。爭訟：主為爭財，牽連難結。兵戰：夜占不吉。

Heavenly Conditions: There will be much wind, or it may turn into rain and clouds. Family Residence: In spring it is favorable, with lush trees around the house; in autumn it is unfavorable, and there may be hidden affairs or secret matters to be cautious about. Marriage: This marriage is not suitable. Pregnancy: The fetal god is sitting on the storage position, so there is a risk of harm to the fetus. Career: One may expect to rise in prominence, especially favorable in spring. Seeking Wealth: The gains will be very small, and one should also be cautious of troubles arising from this small amount of money. Illness: The illness is an epidemic disease; if divined at night, the white tiger is pressing on the day stem official ghost, which is particularly dangerous. Losses: The lost items are difficult to recover. Travel: Seeking help from others is favorable, but long-distance travel is obstructed. Traveler: The traveler will return soon. Disputes: These are mostly disputes over money, with unclear connections and difficulty in resolution. Warfare: Divined at night is unfavorable.

畢法云：后合占婚豈用媒，虎臨干鬼凶速速。袖中金云：飛魂喪魄，二者聚散去來之神。若於日辰行年上見者，更值白虎入傳，不見生氣，健者憂衰，病者憂死。訂訛云：己日根固，木得土為根也。若以日干官鬼論，大約君子吉，小人凶。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the Heavenly Empress is combined with Liu He, it indicates marriage, so there is no need for a matchmaker; if the White Tiger is present on the day stem and official ghost, misfortune comes very quickly. The "Xiu Zhong Jin" says: Flying soul and lost soul are two deities that govern gathering and dispersing; if they appear on the day branch or the year pillar, and the White Tiger enters the transmission without the presence of life qi, a healthy person should worry about decline and illness, while a sick person should worry about death. The "Ding'E" says: On a Ji day, the foundation is strong because wood can take root with earth; but if judged by the day stem's official ghost, generally speaking, the virtuous are auspicious and the petty are inauspicious.

課體：重審　斬關。課義：生氣居中，子戌不容，身邊官鬼，於火有功。

The lesson pattern is a re-examination, with the ruler star added to the hour stem to form a cutting gate. The lesson meaning states: the巳 fire, which can nourish the day stem, is located in the middle transmission. It is previously buried by the戌 earth and later restrained by the子 water, so it cannot be contained at either end. However, the寅 wood official ghost nearby is able to break through the戌 burial and consume the子 energy, thus benefiting the巳 fire.

解曰：巳火能生己土，今在中傳，為初傳之戌所墓，又為末傳之子所克，是前後皆不相容也。寅雖日鬼，今臨身上，反能克開戌墓，耗脫子氣，使巳得安然，致生日之功，是巳之有功於己，非以寅之有功於巳耶。

The fire of Si can generate the earth of Ji. Now it is in the middle transmission, being buried by the earth of Xu in the first transmission and being overcome by the water of Zi in the final transmission, thus not being able to harmonize with either side. Although Yin is the official ghost of the day stem, it is now on the body, and can instead overcome the burial of Xu's earth and consume the energy of Zi's water, allowing the fire of Si to function safely in generating the day stem. Therefore, it is the fire of Si that benefits the earth of Ji, not the wood of Yin benefiting the fire of Si.

斷曰：此重審之卦，事多不由己願。中見更改，遍歷艱辛，方可遂意。又斗魁加辰發用，格合斬關，利於避難奔逃，非安居之象。寅為日鬼，又為日德而生福神，可善可惡，介乎兩端。處正則獲福，妄動則招損。朱雀並臨宅上發用，恐招文書口舌。幸入墓無沖，可以安處。若仕人卻喜沖動也。

This is a review lesson, indicating that the matter is mostly not in accordance with one's own wishes. There will be changes along the way, requiring much hardship before things can be satisfactory. With the Big Dipper's戌 earth added to the辰 position as the initiating transmission, the structure conforms to the cutting gate, which is favorable for avoiding difficulties and fleeing, not suitable for staying put.寅 is the official ghost of the day stem, yet also the day virtue capable of generating the god of fortune, thus it can be both good and bad, lying between the two extremes; proper conduct brings good fortune, while reckless actions lead to loss. The Vermilion Bird is conjointly present on the dwelling place and initiates the transmission, likely causing troubles related to documents and words. Fortunately, it is in the墓 without being冲, allowing for a peaceful stay; however, for those in official positions, they might actually prefer some impulsiveness.

天時：久不見日，亦有風雨。家宅：主人口不和，兼防火燭。婚姻：先難後喜。胎產：胎神臨絕，子妻沖剋，婢孕防損。功名：有成。求財：有得，交易亦成。疾病：主上逆嘔吐，手足不舉，大象無妨。失脫：宜尋戌月，擒盜必獲。出行：利避患。行人：申日來。爭訟：主經三四處官司。兵戰：申嚴號令，無有不克。

Heavenly circumstances: The sun has not been seen for a long time, with also rain and wind. Family residence: Indicates family discord, and also needs to be cautious about fire and candles. Marriage: Initially difficult but eventually joyful. Pregnancy: The fetal deity is in a dead place, the child and wife also clash and control each other, and the servant woman's pregnancy should be cautious of injury. Achieving fame and status: Can be accomplished. Seeking wealth: There will be gains, and trade can also be completed. Illness: Indicates qi reversal and vomiting, inability to lift hands and feet, but overall there is no serious harm. Loss and theft: It is suitable to search in the戌 month, and capturing thieves will certainly succeed. Traveling: Favorable for avoiding danger. Travelers: Will return on the day of Shen. Disputes: Mainly involve going through three or four courts. Military conflict: Strict orders, victorious in all campaigns.

畢法云：巳坐戌，旦乘白虎作墓，主父母墓中生白蟻，如在堂主病災。神將論云：朱雀南方，文書可防，辰戌投網，乖錯遺亡。百鍊金云：重審利主後舉亨，用起朱雀士卒驚；朱空太陰日辰土，彼此欺詐機最深。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the Snake (巳) is seated on the Dog (戌), in the morning it rides the White Tiger and also acts as the tomb god, indicating white ants emerging from the parents' graves; if the parents are still alive, it signifies illness and misfortune. The "Shen Jiang Lun" says: The Vermilion Bird belongs to the South, and matters concerning documents and correspondence should be guarded against; Chen and Xu form the heavenly net and earthly trap, easily leading to mistakes and losses. The "Bailian Jin" says: In a lesson of repeated review, it is favorable for the main party to act later and achieve success; if the useful god arises from the Vermilion Bird, soldiers will be disturbed; when the Vermilion Bird, Tian Kong, Tai Yin, and the day branch's earth all appear together, there will be mutual deception, and the schemes will be the deepest.

課體：反吟，無依，三交，九丑。課義：俱鬼俱空，見凶不凶，夜憂酉鬼，火怪虛逢。

The lesson pattern is "Reverse Chant" (Heaven Plate and Earth Plate are in opposition). The three transmissions have no support and are called "no reliance," all forming three intersections at the four central points. On the day of Ji Mao, it also combines with the nine shamefu. The lesson meaning says: both the卯 and酉 officials are in Kongwang, appearing ominous but actually not dangerous; when divining at night, one only worries about the fire official on酉, but since it is already in Kongwang, the fire ghost is just a false alarm.

解曰：卯乃干鬼，酉乃支鬼，今酉值旬空，而卯復坐空。雖俱可畏，而卻俱消散。乍見為凶，實不成凶也。酉夜乘螣蛇臨宅克宅，夏占更為火鬼，宜防火災。然既落空亡，不過為火怪虛驚而已，曷足畏哉。

Mao is the official ghost of the day stem, You is the official ghost of the day branch; now You is exactly in the旬空, and Mao is also sitting in the empty place. Although both are formidable, they both dissipate on their own. At first glance it seems ominous, but in reality it does not become ominous. You, during the night, is accompanied by Teng Snake and affects the dwelling, and in summer it becomes a fire ghost, which should prompt concern about fire; but since it has fallen into the empty place, it is just a phantom fire alarm, nothing to fear.

斷曰：此反吟無依之卦，卯酉相加發用，主事不和。親情反覆，近者必遠，合者應分。又格合三交，課名九丑。前不能進，後無所依，萬物紐結，凡謀不利。元合蛇虎入傳，主有盜賊陰私，驚疑病訟。反幸三傳俱空，虛聲無實。

This is a reverse chant without support. The trigram of卯 and酉 are combined to initiate the transmission, indicating disputes in matters. Family relationships are reversed, those who are close will become distant, and those who are gathered should be separated. Furthermore, the structure coincides with three intersections, and the lesson name is nine shame. There is no progress ahead and no support behind, with all things entangled. Any plan will be unfavorable. The Black Tortoise, Liu He, and Teng Snake, along with the White Tiger, are all present in the transmission, indicating theft, secret affairs, suspicion, illness, and lawsuits. Fortunately, all three transmissions fall into emptiness, merely making noise without actual events.

天時：忽陰忽晴，晝占密雲不雨，夜占閃電大風。家宅：主門戶動搖，更改修換。婚姻：不成。胎產：不實。功名：得而復失。求財：虛費奔波。投謁：反覆不遇。

Heavenly Conditions: The weather is unpredictable, with clouds filling the sky during the day but no rain falling, and lightning and strong winds at night. Family Home: The door is unstable and shaking, requiring renovation and replacement. Marriage: This marriage will not succeed. Pregnancy: The fetus is weak and not solid. Achieving Success: After obtaining it, it will be lost again. Seeking Wealth: Wasting time and effort with no results. Seeking an Audience: Running back and forth several times but not seeing anyone.

疾病：暴病驚憂，久病不吉。失脫：耗失無存，逃者難獲。出行：孟行頻止，卒不果行。行人：未動身。爭訟：始見驚疑，終歸解散，囚繫者，即得釋。兵戰：交鋒不成，虛聲相恐，防失眾。

Disease: Sudden illness indicates alarm and worry, while long-term illness is not auspicious. Loss: Loss and damage, nothing remains, and those who have run away are difficult to recover. Travel: Wanting to go but repeatedly stopping, ultimately not going. Travelers: Have not yet set out. Disputes: At first there is only suspicion and hesitation, but eventually it resolves and dissipates, and those imprisoned are immediately released. Military conflict: Fighting does not actually occur, it is just empty threats, beware of losing the people's support.

畢法云：后合占婚豈用媒，來去俱空豈動移。課經云：酉夜乘蛇克宅，夏占主遭天火，宜以井底泥塗灶禳之。指竅云：卯酉為分，氣分則異，異則爭，定主分爭之事。卯為外門，主生氣。酉為內門，主殺氣。

The *Bifa Fu* says: When the Heavenly Empress is combined with Liu He, it indicates marriage, and there is no need for a matchmaker; if the movement is empty, then there is no point in talking about moving or relocating. The *Ke Jing* says: When You is present at night and combined with Teng Snake to attack the dwelling, if this is predicted in summer, it indicates a calamity caused by Heavenly Fire; it is advisable to take mud from the bottom of a well and apply it to the stove to appease the situation. The *Zhi Qiao* says: The positions of Mao and You are positions of division; once the Qi is divided, they become different, and once they are different, they will conflict, which inevitably leads to disputes; Mao is the outer gate, which governs Life Qi, while You is the inner gate, which governs killing Qi.

課體：知一，鑄印，乘軒，勵德。課義：身宅俱貴，夜費晝惠，末來助初，卯鬼無畏。

The lesson pattern is to know one, with巳 approaching戌, indicating the casting of a seal,卯 is riding the Azure Dragon, named "riding the carriage," and the nobleman is established at卯 and酉, named "cultivating virtue." The lesson meaning says: the day stem and day branch both have the nobleman; at night, the nobleman in the branch becomes a drain, but during the day, the nobleman in the body is beneficial; the final transmission,卯 wood, comes to generate and assist the initial transmission,巳 fire, so even though卯 is an official ghost, it is not to be feared.

解曰：晝貴臨身，夜貴臨宅，是身宅俱貴也。然夜貴在支，為鬼有損於家，不如晝貴之日財，於身有實惠耳。初傳巳火生干，末傳卯木助之，卯雖日鬼，助生克墓，殊為有益，何足畏哉。

In the daytime, the nobleman is on the day stem, and at night, the nobleman is on the day branch. Therefore, both the body and the dwelling have the nobleman. However, when the nobleman falls on the day branch at night, it becomes an official ghost, which harms the dwelling. This is worse than the nobleman in the daytime turning into wealth for the day stem, which benefits oneself. The first transmission is巳 fire, which generates and supports the day stem, and the final transmission is卯 wood, which again supports巳 fire. Although卯 is the official ghost of the day stem, it can assist in generating and supporting, and also overcome the墓, thus being beneficial rather than harmful. What is there to fear?

斷曰：此知一之卦，事起同類，恩中有害，貴於和衷安分，方獲吉慶。傳見鑄印乘軒，仕宦得之，官祿通顯，常人反為災咎，且主每事遲鈍。傳墓入墓，夜貴克宅，晝貴與己課作六害。凡占必尊卑相軋，邪正同處，以致人口災患。

This is a lesson of the type "Zhi Yi," where the matter is initiated by people of the same kind. Among kindness there is also harm. It is important to act in harmony and to remain within one's proper role in order to gain good fortune. The three transmissions show casting the seal and riding the carriage, which brings official rank and promotion to those in government positions; however, common people who receive these signs may instead face misfortune and find themselves slow in all affairs. The three transmissions move from the grave to the grave, with the night nobleman overcoming the dwelling, and the day nobleman forming the sixth harm with the day's heavenly stem. Any divination will indicate mutual strife between superiors and inferiors, the coexistence of righteousness and wickedness within the same household, leading to calamity for the family.

天時：晴多雨少，時有風。家宅：不利，主家庭神位不肅。婚姻：相宜，恐不成。胎產：安。功名：朱雀克貴，占試不宜，佔有印官員吉。求財：守己財，有生發。疾病：晝占父母沉重，夜占凡病見凶。失脫：勿追，恐反有傷損。出行：宜上任。行人：歸。爭訟：不利，求貴宜和。兵戰：晝占不畏，夜防失物。

Heavenly Condition: There are many sunny days and few rainy days, with frequent winds. Home: It is not favorable for the house, indicating that the shrine in the home is not properly maintained. Marriage: The families are originally compatible, but there is a fear that it will not come to fruition. Pregnancy and Childbirth: Both mother and child are safe. Official Rank: The Vermilion Bird overcomes the Nobleman, indicating that it is not favorable for taking exams; however, it is favorable for officials who hold an official seal. Seeking Wealth: Keep the existing wealth, and it can generate more. Disease: If divined during the day, it indicates the parents' illness is severe; if divined at night, all diseases are ominous. Loss: Do not go to search for it, as searching may lead to injury. Travel: It is favorable to take office in a higher position. Traveler: The person will return. Litigation: Litigation is unfavorable; seeking help from the Nobleman is not as good as reconciliation. Warfare: If divined during the day, there is no need to fear; if divined at night, there is a need to guard against loss of supplies.

畢法云：末助初傳三等論。古鑑：酉命生人，午將加丑占前程，曰：子加未為鼠，忌羊頭。戌加巳為蛇，驚犬吠。妻制父母，身克子息，宅貴空亡，神像不整。鑄印而元武破範，白虎損模。乘軒而虎金傷卯，謂之墮軒。心術不正，好談人短，功名必無成。又占雪曰：申為水母，正在當權。火伏水騰，申子會水，加臨日辰；又三傳順布，末傳卯作白虎，夜半作雪　當有七寸，果然。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the final transmission supports the first transmission, it should be divided into three categories for analysis. The "Gujian" records: A person born in the year of酉, who used the hour of午 with the place of丑 to inquire about his future, was interpreted as follows: Zi added to Wei is a mouse avoiding a sheep's head, and Xu added to Si is a snake fearing a dog's bark; the wife's spirit restrains the parents, and the self also harms the children; the nobleman on the house is in an empty position, and the image of the god is broken and incomplete. The casting of the seal is broken by the Black Tortoise, and the White Tiger damages the mold; the carriage is harmed by the White Tiger's metal on the卯 wood, which is called falling from the carriage. This person has improper intentions, likes to speak ill of others, and will certainly not achieve success in official rank. He also inquired about snow, and it was interpreted: Shen is the mother of water, which is in a position of authority; fire is subdued and water rises, Shen and Zi form a water pattern, which is added to the day branch; the three transmissions are arranged in order, and the final transmission of卯 wood turns into the White Tiger, which will cause snow to fall in the middle of the night, with a depth of seven inches. Later, it indeed happened as predicted.

課體：涉害，比用，曲直，亂首，不備。課義：災禍難遏，夜虎居末，自招其咎，何由免脫。

The lesson pattern is involved in harm. Take the stem that harmonizes with the day stem and use it as the initiating transmission, named "like use." The three transmissions,亥, 卯, 未, form a wood trinity of straight and flexible wood. The day branch is in a position that overcomes the day stem, named "disorder at the beginning." The four lessons are insufficient, named "incomplete." The lesson meaning says: calamity arises all at once and is hard to stop. Night divination shows the white tiger in the final transmission on the卯 ghost; this is a calamity brought about by oneself, where can one escape from it?

解曰：亥財臨於日上，不為我用，反與未卯合而為鬼。災禍之生，難以止遏也。夜占白虎乘末傳卯鬼，為害滋甚。良由已去加支，自取亂首，非關他人之過，其咎何由脫免也哉。涉害亥歷戌土一重，未歷卯乙二重，又未在仲，亥在季，故應用未。

The water of the亥 branch is originally the wealth for the day stem, but since it approaches the day stem from above, it is not used by me. Instead, it combines with the未 and卯 branches to form official ghosts, and once disaster arises, it is difficult to stop. In a night divination, the White Tiger is riding on the final transmission's卯 wood official ghost, making the harm even worse. This is entirely because the day stem itself went to approach the day branch, causing its own disorder, and it is not someone else's fault. How can the blame be shifted? Considering the involvement of harm, the亥 branch passes through the戌 earth, which is one instance of being overcome, while the未 branch passes through both卯 wood and乙 wood, which are two instances of being overcome. Moreover, the未 branch is in the middle of the four quarters, while the亥 branch is in the fourth season, so it is appropriate to take the未 branch as the initiating transmission.

斷曰：此涉害之卦，局成曲直。始難終易，事貴和同。四課不備，三傳循環，遇屯宜止。又日往加辰被克，乃不自尊重，致取其辱。財近身而傳化鬼，亦防貪財致悔。

This is a lesson of involvement, with the three transmissions forming a curved and straight wood pattern. At first it is difficult, but in the end it becomes easy, and matters are important to be harmonious. The four lessons are incomplete, and the three transmissions cycle without leaving the four lessons; when encountering difficulties, one should stop. Moreover, the day stem approaches and governs the day branch but is overcome by it, indicating a lack of respect, leading to disgrace. The wealth爻 is close to oneself and in the transmission turns into official ghost, so one should beware of regret caused by greed for wealth.

天時：多風少雨。家宅：主上下不和，宜謹慎門戶。婚姻：不宜，防夫受制。胎產：胎神坐長生，宜胎不宜產。功名：吉利，宜納粟求官，改易姓名。求財：防因財致禍。

Heavenly circumstances: There is much wind but little rain. Family home: The household is not in harmony, so be careful to secure the doors. Marriage: This marriage is not suitable, and also beware that the husband will be controlled by others. Pregnancy and childbirth: TheFetal Spirit is in the position of growth, so it is suitable to ask about pregnancy but not suitable to ask about childbirth. Official position: It is auspicious, suitable for seeking official position by donating grain or changing one's name to pursue advancement. Seeking wealth: Be careful that this money may bring misfortune.

疾病：天后受克臨死鄉，不利占女病。失脫：盜神生鬼，或致成訟。出行：求官吉，宜春月。行人：即至。爭訟：主為妻財，或奸私不明之事，防枷扭。兵戰：晝占大勝，夜占無威，軍中不寧。

Disease: The Heavenly Empress is being overcome and falls into the death palace, which is most unfavorable for a woman's illness. Loss and theft: The thief god turns to support the official ghost, which may lead to a dispute. Travel: It is auspicious to travel in pursuit of official positions, and it is best to choose a month in spring. Traveler: The person is about to arrive. Dispute: It is mostly about wife and money, or unclear matters of infidelity, and there is also a risk of being imprisoned. Military conflict: If divined during the day, there will be a great victory; if divined at night, there will be no power and the army will be in disorder.

畢法云：后合占婚豈用媒，二貴皆空虛喜期。課經云：干支自作三合，三傳不出四課，名迴環格。占凶凶成，占吉吉就。心鏡云：亂首下欺上，若更將得卯酉，神得后合，主男女訛雜。再值魁罡勾空，至有不可名言之事。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When the Heavenly Empress and the Liu He are both involved in marriage divination, there is no need for a matchmaker; if both Noblemen fall into Kongwang, it indicates a false wedding date. The "Ke Jing" says: If the Day Stem and Day Branch form a Triple Harmony on their own, and the Three Transmissions do not fall outside the Four Lessons, this is called the Huihuan Pattern; if it is an ominous situation, ominous events will occur; if it is a favorable situation, favorable events will come to pass. The "Xin Jing" says: When there is disorder at the beginning, it indicates a lower person oppressing a higher one; if it also meets the卯 and酉, and the Heavenly General is joined by the Heavenly Empress and Liu He, it indicates mixed and chaotic affairs between men and women; if it also meets Hekui, Tiangang, Gou Chen, and Kongwang, there will be matters that are hard to explain.

課體：重審，三交，驀越。課義：交車頗美，脫空初值，元卯末逢，穿窬防備。

The initiating transmission is out of order and is called a sudden leap. 解曰：卯與戌合，午與未合，干支上下，交車相合，大為美事。但初傳之酉，既落旬空，又脫日氣，值此只宜解釋憂疑耳。凡所謀為，皆不利也。太沖類為賊人，狡猾不正。又乘元武，居末傳作鬼，當提防穿窬之輩。

The卯 and 戌 are considered to form a harmonious combination, and the午 and 未 also form a harmonious combination. When the day stem and day branch interact in a crosswise manner, it is a very auspicious situation. However, the酉 metal in the first transmission has fallen into the旬空 and is also draining the energy of the day stem. In such a case, it is only suitable for interpreting matters of worry and doubt; any plans or actions will be unfavorable. TheTaichong (Mao), which represents卯 wood, symbolizes thieves who are cunning and improper. Since it is riding on theBlack Tortoise, it occupies the final transmission and transforms into an official ghost, one should be cautious of people who might sneak through walls or tunnels.

斷曰：此重審之卦，孤辰發用，占骨肉至親不利，占身主見孤獨，別離鄉井，自立門戶。惟恐宜於僧道九流，及解仇釋怨，消憂散禍。又格合三交，利隱匿避災。占者當固窮守分，大辨若訥，大巧若拙，方能免咎。

This is a review lesson, with Guchen initiating the transmission. It indicates unfavorable outcomes concerning close family matters. When applied to oneself, it suggests loneliness, leaving home, and establishing a new household. It is most suitable for monks, Taoist priests, and practitioners of esoteric arts, as well as for resolving conflicts, dispelling worries, and eliminating misfortunes. The structure aligns with Sanjiao, which is favorable for concealment and avoiding calamities. The person seeking the divination should be content with poverty, remain within their proper role, speak little despite great knowledge, and appear unskilled despite great skill, in order to avoid misfortune.

天時：重陰無雨。家宅：虛耗不足，子加酉乘貴人，主尊長有災，或是婦女奸私口舌。婚姻：不宜亦不成。胎產：占胎不實，占產即生。功名：主改任。求財：耗散。

Heavenly conditions: heavy clouds press down but no rain falls. Family affairs: household expenses are excessive and income is insufficient; with the child's branch on You and the presence of a nobleman, it indicates that elders may suffer misfortune, or there may be scandals or disputes involving women. Marriage: this marriage is unsuitable and cannot be arranged. Pregnancy: if asking about pregnancy, the fetus is not strong; if asking about childbirth, the delivery will occur at the right time. Career: indicates a change of position. Seeking wealth: money is only spent and cannot be gathered.

投謁：一片虛情，全無實際。疾病：新病即愈，久病凶。失脫，不獲。出行：防損失。行人：望久不至，後忽然至。爭訟：難中生易，宜解怨釋結。兵戰：軍政更張，防失眾心。

Meeting someone: The other person speaks only empty words, with no real meaning. Illness: A newly acquired illness will recover quickly, but a long-term illness is dangerous. Loss: The lost item cannot be found. Travel: Be cautious of loss on the way. A traveler: After waiting for a long time without seeing anyone, the person suddenly arrives at home. Dispute: In difficult situations, things become easy; it is suitable to resolve grievances and remove heartache. Military conflict: Orders in the army are frequently changed, be cautious of losing the support of the people.

畢法云：權攝不正祿臨支，交車相合交關利。課經云：交車六合，傳見三交，凡交關用事，必有奸私，或相交涉二三事。指竅云：人只知旬空為十干不到處，不知惟虛能起化，此正天之中也，故曰天中煞。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: When someone acts on behalf of another but the official position is not properly established, it indicates that the official star is located in the day branch; when the trine and theLiu He meet, it is favorable for matters related to trade and persuasion. The "Ke Jing" says: When the trine and theLiu He meet, and the three transmissions also show three trines, any matters involving negotiation and persuasion will certainly involve secret dealings, or be connected with two or three matters at the same time. The "Zhi Qiao" says: People only know that the ten heavenly stems are not present in the ten-day cycle, but they do not realize that only emptiness can bring about change, which is exactly the center of heaven, hence called the Tianzhong Sha.

課體：遙克，彈射，間傳，純陰，溟濛。課義：弓在彈亡，夜失須防，六陰全備，兩貴渺茫。

The lesson pattern is "remote control" (when there is no direct control among the four lessons, the remote controlling element is used as the initiating transmission). The day stem controls the remote god, named "shooting the arrow," and the three transmissions are in between, named "intermediate transmissions." When all six yin branches (丑, 卯, 巳, 未, 酉, 亥) are present, it is called "pure yin," and when things are dark and unclear, it is called "mengmeng." The lesson meaning says: although the bow is in hand, the arrow has already been lost; in a night divination, the wealth riding the Black Tortoise is lost, and one should beware of losing it; with all six yin branches complete, the two noblemen of day and night are distant and unreliable.

解曰：日克遙神，是名彈射。然日上酉既空脫，初傳亥又坐空，豈非彈丸已失，虛張空弮乎。空財夜乘元武，須防遺失也。丑卯巳未酉亥六陰全備，不見一陽，昏昧太甚。晝貴子加戌。入獄受制，夜貴申加午，空亡被克，皆渺茫不足恃也。

The day stem remotely controls another god, which is called shooting an arrow. However, the酉 gold on the day stem is both empty and detached, and the initial transmission's亥 water is also sitting on an empty position. Is it not that the arrow has already been lost, leaving only an empty bow? Wealth that falls into emptiness is also taken by the Black Tortoise at night, so one must be cautious of loss. The six yin branches 丑, 卯, 巳, 未, 酉, 亥 are all present, but there is no yang branch at all, indicating a very confused situation. The day nobleman, 子 water, is placed on 戌 and is in prison and controlled; the night nobleman, 申 gold, is placed on 午 and falls into emptiness and is controlled; both are uncertain and unreliable.

斷曰：此遙克彈射之卦，日之陰陽自相戰，多主外事。虛聲相射，不得實用，耗費百出，凡事難成。若遇非常驚恐，卻反消散，不足為患。吉不成吉，凶不成凶也。課傳純陰，陰極者陽自生，知機靜守，待時而動，斯為得之。

This is a lesson of distant overcoming and shooting, where the yin and yang spirits of the day stem contend with each other, often indicating matters outside the immediate context. There is mutual shooting without concrete results, leading to endless expenditures and difficulties in achieving anything. If an extraordinary fear occurs, it may dissipate on its own, causing no real harm. Good outcomes cannot be realized, and bad ones cannot fully materialize. If all four lessons and three transmissions consist solely of yin branches, when yin reaches its extreme, yang will naturally arise. Recognizing the right moment and remaining calm and self-restrained, waiting for the appropriate time to act, is the correct approach.

天時：占雨還晴，占晴久陰。家宅：幽暗不明，防陰私走失。婚姻：不成，成亦不利。胎產：有虛驚，卻易產。功名：不利，位高者危。求財：虛耗不足。投謁：干貴無益。疾病：日馬乘喪車臨病，占病大凶。失脫：不獲。出行：仲秋吉，餘不宜。行人：必至。爭訟：易為解散，有前程者不利。出兵：防詐變，不吉。

Heavenly Time: Divination for rain results in clearing skies, and divination for clear skies results in prolonged darkness. Family Home: Dark and unclear, beware of secret affairs and loss. Marriage: Not successful, even if forced, it is not beneficial. Pregnancy and Childbirth: There will be alarm, but childbirth will be easy. Official Rank: Unfavorable, the higher the position, the greater the danger. Seeking Wealth: Loss without gain. Seeking Favor: Requesting the nobleman brings no benefit. Disease: The day stem's post-horse arrives at the disease position on a funeral carriage, indicating a serious illness. Loss and Theft: Not recoverable. Travel: Favorable in mid-autumn August, unfavorable otherwise. Travelers: Will definitely arrive. Disputes: Easy to resolve, but disadvantageous for those with official rank and prospects. Military Campaign: Beware of deceit and change, unfavorable.

畢法云：六陰相繼盡昏迷，兩貴受克難干貴，人宅受脫俱招盜。課經云：溟濛之格，利陰謀私干，不利於公。兼天將蛇元后合，干支皆乘盜氣，用神坐空，費力不可言也，，指掌賦云：從魁若乘武合，妻必懷娠；太乙若逢白虎，家多疾病；財遇天中煞，產業傾頹。

The "Bifa Fu" says: When six yin branches follow one after another, there is a state of confusion and darkness; when two noblemen are weakened, it is difficult to approach the nobleman; when both the person and the dwelling are drained, thieves will be attracted. The "Ke Jing" says: The form of ming meng is favorable for secret private affairs, but unfavorable for official matters; further, when the heavenly general is accompanied by the teng snake, taiyi, heavenly empress, and liu he, and the day stem and day branch are both accompanied by the aura of theft, and the useful god is seated on kongwang, the effort required is hard to describe. The "Zhi Zhang Fu" says: When congkui in you is accompanied by yuanwu and liu he, the wife and husband will certainly become pregnant; when taiyi in si meets baohu, there will be many diseases in the family; when the wealth element meets the heavenly middle evil, the property and assets will decline.

課體：重審，進茹，斬關。課義：虛貴干遇，宅乘日墓，拱三欠一，惟祿難顧。

The lesson pattern is called Reexamining. The three transmissions follow in sequence and are named Jìn Rú. The star of the battle field is placed on the hour stem to initiate the transmission, named Zhǎn Guān. The meaning of the lesson says: the nobleman appears at the day stem but is exactly in the empty period of the ten-day cycle, as if he had not appeared at all; the stem of the house is riding on theTomb Spirit (mound spirit) of the day stem; the stem of the dry branch and the branch of the wet branch between them form an arch with Si and Wu, missing only the character Wei; the day's禄 (favorable stem) Wu is virtually arching in front, but ultimately cannot be attended to.

解曰：申乘夜貴臨干，恰是旬空，遇而不遇也。辰為干墓臨宅，宅必昏迷也。干上申，支上辰，內拱巳午，欠一未字。午為日祿，進不得未，虛拱於前，則祿不足顧矣。三傳自墓傳生，為先迷後醒之象。

Heavenly Stem Shen Metal is riding on the night and the Nobleman is present on the Day Stem, but it coincides with the empty period of the ten-day cycle, so it is as if it has not occurred. Chen is the tomb of the Day Stem and is present on the dwelling, so the family dwelling must certainly be confused and unclear. The Day Stem is Shen and the Day Branch is Chen, with Si and Wu in between, but the character Wei is missing; Wu is the禄 of Ji day, but it cannot proceed further to Wei, so the禄 is wasted and remains empty. The three transmissions go from the tomb to the Growth, indicating an image of first confusion and then clarity.

斷曰：此重審卦，順進連茹，進中有退，節外生枝，遲則阻滯，急則順利也。墓神發用，常人安靜則吉，有官者須努力向前，庶可得祿。斗罡加辰發用，又勾陳並臨，猶人遇凶神，重土閉塞。天關難度，喜貴登天門，利於隱避，宜更新外出也。

This is a review lesson. The three transmissions proceed in order and are connected by a link, with advancement accompanied by retreat, and new branches growing outside the main stem. Slowness leads to obstruction, while speed leads to smoothness. The spirit of the tomb initiates the transmission; for an ordinary person, calmness brings good fortune. For someone already in an official position, one must strive forward to gain benefits. The star of the constellation is placed on the position of the hour, with Gou Chen accompanying it. It is like a person encountering evil spirits, with heavy earth blockages. The heavenly gate is difficult to pass, but fortunately, the nobleman is on the heavenly gate, which is favorable for concealment and evasion, and suitable for renewing old situations and undertaking affairs outside.

天時：日多云，夜多露。家宅：宅卑暗，防時有鬥毆之事。婚姻：可成。胎產：胎旺，防不足月。功名：努力可得，初見蹭蹬。求財：主有恩賜錢帛，或防弟兄爭奪為患。投謁：勤求有益。

Heavenly circumstances: The day is cloudy with much cloudiness, and the night is dewy with much moisture. Family residence: The dwelling is low and dark, and one should beware of frequent fights and quarrels. Marriage: It can be successful. Pregnancy: The fetal energy is strong, but one should beware of premature birth. Achieving fame and status: With effort, it can be obtained, but initially there will be difficulties. Seeking wealth: There is a fortune bestowed by others, or one should beware of disputes with siblings leading to trouble. Seeking favor and recommendation: If one applies diligently, it will be beneficial.

疾病：淹纏，不妨。失脫：主在道路，或繫奴僕遠遁。出行：雖有阻隔，憂疑亦吉。行人：可至。爭訟：主爭田鬥殺，防問罪。兵戰：利客不利主，進退疑貳，稍傷士卒，不為凶。

Disease: The illness persists for a long time, but there is no major harm. Loss: The lost item is mostly on the road, or the servant has run away far away. Travel: Although there are obstacles and worries, it is still auspicious. Traveler: The traveler will arrive. Dispute: It is mostly due to fighting over land, and there is a risk of being charged with a crime. Military conflict: It is favorable for the guest side but not for the host side, with hesitation in advancing or retreating, and a slight loss of soldiers, but it is not a凶 (evil) outcome.

畢法云：所謀多拙遭羅網，干墓並關人宅廢。占驗：寅將加丑占官職，曰：申作長生，貴人生己土，當有尊長提攜。又秋金司令，當作刑官。行年白虎乘丁，其勢必動。午為祿神臨馬，朱雀並之，臨巳為爐冶，當有爐冶執事。悉驗。

The "Bifa Fu" says: Most plans are clumsy and one is caught in a net; the day's decline and the separation of the gate are both present, indicating that both the person and the dwelling are in decline. The "Zhan Yan" records: With the寅 general added to the丑, a question about official position was divined, and it was interpreted as: the metal of the申 is in its long growth, the nobleman supports the earth, there will be support from a superior; also, the autumn metal is in command, so one should hold an official position related to law and punishment. The year's position has the white tiger riding the ten-day丁, indicating a certain change. The午 is the禄神 and is accompanied by the post-horse, and the vermilion bird is also on top of it, located at the巳 position which is the furnace and forge, indicating a position related to the furnace and forge. Later, all these predictions were fulfilled.
