If one desires the wealth represented by the亥 water, it will bring about the growth of the寅 wood. The explanation says that亥 water is the day stem's wealth, while寅 wood is the official ghost governed by the White Tiger. They are in mutual harmony and form a harmful combination. Fortunately, they are both in a state of emptiness and decline, so they cannot cause actual harm, merely appearing as a show. However, although亥 water is the day stem's wealth, it forms a六合 with寅 wood, indicating a powerful presence like tigers and leopards in the mountains. If one is greedy for that wealth, it will activate the寅 wood, making it strong and transforming it into the White Tiger's official ghost, which will bring misfortune. The person seeking the divination should be cautious of the warning against greed leading to calamity.

斷曰：反吟之課，來去俱空，吉固不成，凶亦無準。干支值絕，止宜結絕財物之事，或攜財告貴，占病求神，皆可用也。凡事反覆，貧富有乘除，禍福有倚伏。塞翁得失，取鑑不遠矣。

The interpretation says: When there is reverse chant, both the path of coming and the path of going are in kongwang. Good things cannot be accomplished, and bad things have no certainty. Both the day stem and day branch fall in the place of extinction, so it is only suitable to conclude old matters related to money or to visit a nobleman with money, to inquire about illness or to pray to the gods, which are still useful. All things are repeated and reversed, poverty and wealth change each other, misfortune and fortune depend on each other. The story of the old man who lost his horse, where loss and gain are unpredictable, is exactly the mirror before our eyes.

天時：青龍入廟，亥水臨絕，風大雨小。家宅：虎鬼在宅，防有喪服。功名：城吏全逢，催官發用，甚吉，必填實始應。求財：宜索債。婚姻：干支值絕，不吉。胎產：下強上弱，女孕，干支上合下害，產凶。疾病：當是翻胃，防有反覆。爭訟：兩傷。出行：不宜行。行人：立至。捕獲：主逃奴、逃兵作盜，在西方壘土之處。兵戰：防失眾。

Divination on weather: The Azure Dragon returns to its own temple, the亥 water is in a state of decline, there will be strong winds but light rain. Divination on the household: The White Tiger and the official ghost fall on the house, be cautious of funeral activities within the family. Divination on official rank: The Nobleman and the official star are both present, the official messenger also occupies the first transmission, which is very auspicious; however, it will only take effect when the Kongwang is filled by the current year, month, and day. Divination on seeking wealth: It is suitable to collect old debts. Divination on marriage: The day stem and day branch both meet the decline, which is not auspicious. Divination on pregnancy: The lower deity is strong while the upper deity is weak, indicating a female fetus; the day stem and day branch are in harmony above but in conflict below, indicating a dangerous childbirth. Divination on illness: The illness is likely to be regurgitation and vomiting, be cautious of recurring symptoms. Divination on disputes: Both parties will suffer losses. Divination on travel: It is not advisable to move. Divination on a traveler: The traveler will arrive soon. Divination on capturing fugitives: The fugitives are most likely escaped slaves or soldiers, hiding in the western area of piled earth. Divination on warfare: Be cautious of losing troops.

畢法云：上下皆合兩心齊，干支值絕凡謀決；來去俱空豈動移，晝夜貴加求兩貴。課經云：戊日反吟三月占，生氣剋日主病，為幸中不幸。死氣生日主生，為不幸中幸，占妻病必死。若干支上神作月內死氣，妻死尤速。邵南詩云：空亡用起事無成，要遂須當是別旬。

The *Bifa Fu* says: If both the upper and lower parts are in harmony, the guest and host will be of one mind; if both the day stem and day branch meet the place of exhaustion, all matters planned should be concluded; if both the coming and going ends are empty, why bother to move or travel; if both the day's nobleman and night's nobleman are present, one can seek the help of these two noblemen at the same time. The *Ke Jing* says: If a reverse chant lesson occurs on a Wu day in the third month, the life qi will reverse to attack the day's ruler, which is an unfortunate event amidst some good fortune; the death qi will reverse to support the day's ruler, which is a fortunate event amidst some misfortune, but if it is about the illness of the wife, it will surely result in death. If the day stem and day branch are exactly the death qi of the month, the wife will die even more quickly. The poem by Shao Nan says: If the empty and void (kongwang) serves as the initiating transmission (fa yong), the matter will not be accomplished; if one wishes to achieve one's desires, one must change to another ten-year period.

課體：元首，斬關。課義：發用雖凶，賴繫旬空，如論夜將，三傳無蹤。解曰：發用官鬼，卻繫空亡，又被申制，全然無氣矣，雖凶不凶也。如用夜將，初末既已空陷，而丑又乘天空，復何蹤跡之可尋哉。斷曰：元首之卦，先憂後喜。斬關非安居之象，空用有阻滯之憂，大抵凶事可散，吉事難成。必當養晦待時，方為有濟。

If the night general is taken, the first and final transmissions are already empty and trapped, and the middle transmission, the earth of Chou, is also riding on the sky void, so where can one find any trace? The conclusion says: the hexagram of Yuan Shou indicates first worry and then joy; Zhan Guan is not a sign of settling down, the use of kongwang in the initiating transmission brings worries of obstruction. Overall, major calamities can dissipate, but good things are difficult to achieve. One must conceal one's brilliance and cultivate oneself in quietude, waiting for the right moment, in order to achieve success.

天時：主晴。家宅：骨肉防有刑傷。功名：官爻空，防解任，填實乃利。婚姻：防婦刑夫，不吉。胎產：震宮發用，主長男，但恐難育，占產甚易。疾病：脾虛，腰腿痿弱，可愈。爭訟：先發者當遭刑責。出行：陸路勝於水路，但恐未必果行。行人：不久當歸，歸須仍出。兵戰：兩相刑傷。

Divination on official positions: the official sign falls into kongwang, indicating possible dismissal, and benefits will come only when kongwang is filled. Divination on marriage: caution is needed as the wife may harm the husband, which is not favorable. Divination on pregnancy: the zhen trigram is active, indicating the birth of a first son, but there is fear that he may be difficult to raise, while childbirth itself is easy. Divination on illness: spleen deficiency, with weakness and soreness in the waist and legs, which can be cured. Divination on disputes: the party who initiates the lawsuit first will suffer punishment. Divination on travel: traveling by land is better than by water, but it is uncertain whether the journey will actually take place. Divination on a traveler: he will return soon, but after returning he will need to go out again. Divination on warfare: both sides will suffer mutual injuries.

畢法云：干支乘墓各昏迷。指南：丑加申占前程，或曰：卯與戌合，為大六合。六合加戌，為小六合。喜末傳月將貴人，定然片言人相。余曰：不然。太陰臨卯空，不能成名，此必舊事重新舉行者。蓋以舊太歲發用，且四墓覆生，主已廢復行，沉而又舉。嫌初中龍官空戰，朱雀陰見元墓，二月還宜謹慎旨意，必不能佳。後果以改授上疏見駁，幾至察處。

The *Ren Zhan Zhi Nan* records a case: using the method of adding Chou to Shen to divinate about career prospects, someone said that Mao and Xu are a great Liu He (six harmonies), and the Liu He general is again added to Xu, forming a small Liu He. The final transmission coincides with the month general and nobleman, so it is certain that one would be appointed as prime minister in one speech. I say otherwise: Tai Yin is present on Mao, and Mao is also in an empty state, so it cannot achieve fame. This must be a rekindling of an old matter. Because the initiating transmission is from last year's Tai Su (sovereign), and the four burial places are covering the growth (longevity), it indicates that an abandoned matter is being revived, and something that has sunk is being raised again. It is worrying that the first and middle transmissions have the Azure Dragon official star in an empty state and in conflict, and the Vermilion Bird's hidden spirit also meets the Black Tortoise's burial. One must still be cautious about the superior's intentions in February, and ultimately it will not be good. Later, it indeed happened that the person submitted a petition for a change of position and was rejected, almost being investigated.

課體：元首，潤下，勵德，六儀。課義：破碎雖遇，錢財滿路，彼己乘脫，遞互坐墓。解曰：干上雖乘破碎，然三傳水局，錢財固滿路也。但戊為酉脫，申為子脫。而又人坐宅墓，宅坐入墓，不無耗散憂疑耳。斷曰：潤下之卦，事動眾謀，或託人作合。六儀發用，且三傳遞生，必有將伯之助。敗氣臨干，占者當有破敗之子。

The lesson pattern is "Original Head," "Moistening Down," "Upholding Virtue," and "Six Instruments": Six Instruments refer to the initial transmission falling on the position of the ritual spirits within the ten-day cycle, indicating support from a nobleman. The lesson meaning states: although encountering the shattered star, wealth is abundant; however, both sides are losing energy, and they are mutually entering the tomb. The explanation says: although the day stem is occupied by the shattered star, the three transmissions form a water pattern as my wealth, so wealth naturally flows abundantly. However, the earth element is drained by the metal, and the metal is drained by the water; moreover, the person enters the tomb of the house, and the house enters the tomb of the person, inevitably leading to loss and suspicion. The conclusion states: the moistening down hexagram indicates that matters require collective effort or someone to mediate. With the Six Instruments initiating the transmission and the three transmissions generating successively, there must be an elder offering assistance. The declining energy is present on the day stem, indicating that there is a wasteful son in the family of the person seeking the divination.

天時：主雨。家宅：元武發用，倘有近水房屋，應遭盜賊。求財：可得。婚姻：男女皆敗，將來不吉。胎產：孕生女，潤下易產。疾病：傷風腎竭之症，難愈。爭訟：主牽連下賤，未能散釋。投謁：不利。出行：元武發用，中傳游都，須防盜賊。捕獲：盜在正西道旁。兵戰：破碎臨干，不吉。

Divination on seeking wealth: can be obtained. Divination on marriage: both parties carry a losing influence, future is not auspicious. Divination on pregnancy: it is a female fetus, the lesson of moistening and descending indicates an easy delivery. Divination on illness: a cold combined with kidney energy deficiency, difficult to recover. Divination on disputes: will involve lowly people, cannot be resolved quickly. Divination on visiting someone: not favorable. Divination on travel: the Black Tortoise initiates the transmission, the middle transmission is also the wandering thief god, need to guard against thieves. Divination on capturing fugitives: thieves are near the road to the due west. Divination on warfare: the broken calamity star is on the day stem, not auspicious.

畢法云：干墓並關人宅廢，人宅坐墓甘招晦。占驗：寅加戌占病，曰：酉臨干為敗氣，病因少陰。木火作虎，肺脾二經受病，元墓發用為收魂煞，又純財生卯為死氣剋日，甲戌冬不保矣。且元武發用乘相氣，傳歸宅上，防一北方陳姓少年來作賊也，悉驗。古鑑：占宅曰：戀一妾，復置一妾，精氣衰耗，財為家賊所偷。宅上子水作蛇，主子橫逆。辰土又耗子水，所以多招是非。酉為臟毒，今年太歲酉值水敗。明年巳月，破碎重見，當死矣，果然。

There is a case of divination concerning illness: with寅 (Yin) added to戌 (Xu), the judgment says - the metal of酉 (You) is on the day stem, indicating a decline, and the illness originates from the lesser yin; wood and fire transform into the White Tiger, causing illness in the lungs and spleen; the tomb of the Black Tortoise serves as the initiating transmission, indicating the soul-stealing evil; also, a piece of wealth hexagram nourishes卯 (Mao) wood, making卯 wood become a death qi that harms the day stem; in the year of Jia Xu winter, it will not be saved. Moreover, since the Black Tortoise initiating transmission is in a favorable condition, it spreads to the house, one should also beware of a young man named Chen from the north who will commit theft. All these predictions came true. There is another old case of divining a house: the owner first loved a concubine, then took another, leading to the depletion of his vital energy and the theft of wealth by family thieves; the water of Zi (Zi) in the house is ridden by the Teng Snake, indicating rebellion by the son; the earth of Chen (Chen) consumes the water of Zi, thus causing much trouble. The metal of You (You) indicates poison in the internal organs; this year's heavenly stem is You, which coincides with the weak position of water, and in the next year of Si (Si), the broken-up evil will appear again, and death will come. Indeed, it happened as predicted.

課體：蒿矢，元胎，不備。課義：蒿屬朽木，逢申委鏃，格居三會，兩貴履獄。解曰：寅乃旬空，木空則朽。發用蒿矢，是朽木作矢也。然日上乘申作末，是有鏃矣，射之能不傷乎。支來加干，末傳又歸干上，格名三會，凶吉皆成。丑未兩貴，臨於辰戌，是名履獄，干貴尤非所利。

The lesson pattern is "Hao Shi", "Yuan Tai", and "Bu Bei": Hao Shi is a lesson of remote control, like using straw as an arrow, which is weak and causes shallow harm. The lesson meaning says: Hao is originally rotten wood, which meets the metal of Shen when it becomes an arrowhead; the pattern also falls into the three converging positions, and the two noblemen of day and night both enter the prison. The explanation says:寅 wood is exactly in the empty position of the ten days, and when wood falls into emptiness, it becomes rotten wood; initiating with Hao Shi is like making an arrow from rotten wood. However, the day stem is covered by Shen metal and also serves as the final transmission, thus having the metal arrowhead, which cannot fail to injure when shot. The day branch is added to the day stem, and the final transmission returns to the day stem, this pattern is called three converging positions, which can form both auspicious and inauspicious situations. The noblemen of Chou and Wei are placed on Chen and Xu, called stepping into prison, among which the nobleman on the day stem is especially unfavorable.

斷曰：蒿矢之課，禍福皆輕，干支下合上害，各自乘脫。三傳互刑，德祿絕陷。凡事必多猜忌，且有詩張。又名不備，吉凶斷不十全。末克初傳，秋占無慮，惟仕宦不佳。

The divination says: This hexagram indicates light misfortune and light fortune; the day stem and day branch are harmonious below but conflicting above, and both are further weakened. The three transmissions mutually injure and overcome each other, and the virtue god and fortune god fall into dead or empty positions. All matters will inevitably involve suspicion and suspicion, and there will be people deceiving and fabricating. The final transmission overcomes the first transmission; if this is divined in autumn, there is no need to worry, but officials will not be favorable.

天時：寅為風，乘馬作虎，主大風。家宅：平安，但須耗財，元胎課家有孕婦。功名：官空祿陷，幸龍乘長生，目下不利，終吉。求財：久後自得。婚姻：干支上神相害，又不備課，不吉。胎產：二陽包陰，孕女難產。疾病：病屬肝脾二經，或頭風難愈。爭訟：訟有解，先告少弱。出行：不利。行人：三會格，立至。捕獲：盜在西南井旁飯店。兵戰：有失眾之虞。墳葬：戌方出水，作艮坤向，可以發財，異日須防盜墳。

Divination on seeking wealth: It will naturally come to hand after a long time. Divination on marriage: The day stem and day branch gods are harmful to each other, and it is an incomplete lesson, which is not auspicious. Divination on pregnancy: Two yangs enclosing one yin, the fetus is female, and there will be difficult childbirth. Divination on illness: The illness is in the liver and spleen meridians, or it is a headache, and it is difficult to recover. Divination on disputes: The lawsuit can be resolved, and the party who files the case first has weaker strength. Divination on travel: Unfavorable. Divination on a traveler: The triple convergence pattern indicates the traveler will arrive immediately. Divination on capturing fugitives: The thief is in the southwest near a well by a restaurant. Divination on warfare: There is a hidden worry of losing troops. Divination on burial: Water flows from the戌 direction, and if the grave is facing the mountain and the earth, it can bring wealth, but later there is a need to prevent theft of the grave.

畢法云：賓主不投刑在上，彼此猜忌害相隨，上下皆合兩心齊。課經云：干上申，青龍乘生干之神，若作月內生氣，主徐徐發福。集要云：辰臨日生日，凡事不待我求，彼自上門順應，不勞餘力。

The "Bifa Fu" says: The host and guest do not harmonize because the upper deity brings punishment; mutual suspicion arises because mutual harm follows closely; when above and below are in harmony, the guest and host will be united in purpose. The "Ke Jing" says: The day stem is riding on the metal of Shen, the Azure Dragon is riding on the deity that is the birth deity of the day stem; if it also serves as the life qi of the month, it indicates that blessings will come gradually. The "Ji Yao" says: When the earthy branch of Chen earth is on the day stem and also gives birth to it, all matters do not need me to seek; the other party will come of their own accord to comply, requiring no effort at all.

課體：重審，間傳，向三陽，泆女。課義：虎載財走，不得人手，用碎己心，笑破人口。解曰：發用之子，日財也。上乘白虎，驚危而不敢取。若更戀此財，必引而入於鬼墓之鄉，其財反為支上戌土所得矣，幾何而能入手乎。是己心枉自用碎，不能有濟。人卻毫不費力，而安然享之，豈不笑破他人之口哉。

"Xiang San Yang" means the three transmissions, which are Zi, Yin, and Chen, progress step by step towards the yang. "Yi Nu" indicates that the Liu He and Heavenly Empress are combined, symbolizing a woman's improper behavior. The lesson meaning states: the White Tiger carries away wealth, but it cannot be obtained. One wastes his thoughts in vain, only to provoke laughter from others. The explanation says: the first transmission, Zi water, is the day stem's wealth, but it is occupied by the White Tiger, causing fear and making one reluctant to take it. If one still desires this wealth, he will be dragged into the ghostly tomb, and the wealth will be taken by the day branch's Xu earth instead, so it cannot be obtained. This is merely wasting one's mind in vain, and ultimately of no help; others, however, can enjoy it effortlessly and comfortably, which would surely make others laugh.

斷曰：三陽之卦，貴登天門。罡塞鬼戶，神藏煞沒，謀為罔不如意。財爻發用，財可問也。官乘虎為馬作中傳，為催官使者，官可問也。但入空鄉，填實乃吉。干支下合上刑，客主難投。宅上晝夜將乘元武，穿窬宜謹。末傳六合，晝占泆女，此陰小失禮，男女不正之象。鄭衛之風，不可防歟。

The interpretation says: A trigram of three yangs, with the nobleman ascending the heavenly gate, the tiangang blocking the ghost's entrance, auspicious deities hidden and malevolent spirits concealed, all endeavors will be without obstacles. The wealth element serves as the initiating transmission, so matters concerning wealth can be questioned; the official star rides the white tiger, is also the post-horse, and serves as the middle transmission, which is called the official messenger, so matters concerning official positions can also be questioned. However, it falls into the kongwang area, so it must wait until it is filled to be auspicious. The day stem and day branch are in harmony below but in conflict above, making the host and guest difficult to harmonize. The dwelling place has neither day general nor night general, but both ride the black tortoise, so one must be cautious of thieves who break through walls and windows. The final transmission is liuhe, and if it is day divination, it becomes the lesson of the promiscuous woman, indicating improper behavior of women and young people, and improper conduct between men and women, the licentious customs of zhengwei, how can one not be vigilant?

天時：課名三陽，有風無雨。家宅：宅上元武刑干，宜防盜賊，秋月尤甚。功名：官空傳墓，非宜。求財：干支上神相刑，財被奪去。婚姻：不宜。胎產：孕女產易。疾病：脾痛脾洩，難愈。爭訟：後強於先，終當和解。出行：水路防失脫。行人：未回。捕獲：北方近水人作盜。兵戰：防偷營劫糧。

Divination on the household: The Black Tortoise is attacking the day stem, one should be cautious about theft, especially in the autumn month. Divination on official rank: The official star is in the void, and the three transmissions are in the tomb, it is not suitable. Divination on seeking wealth: The day stem and day branch are mutually attacking, wealth will be taken away by others. Divination on marriage: Not suitable. Divination on pregnancy: A female fetus is carried, and childbirth will be easy. Divination on illness: Spleen pain and spleen deficiency with diarrhea, difficult to recover. Divination on disputes: The later party will be stronger than the earlier one, and eventually they will reconcile. Divination on travel: Traveling by water should be cautious of losing property. Divination on a traveler: The traveler has not returned yet. Divination on capturing a fugitive: The thief is a person living in the north near water. Divination on warfare: Be cautious of enemy attacks on the camp and raids on supplies.

畢法云：用破身心無所歸。精蘊云：初財坐戌受克，緣戀財引入鬼鄉，猶幸空亡。諺云，爭似不來還不往，也無歡笑也無愁，其斯之謂歟。

The "Bi Fa Fu" says: When the Initiating Transmission carries the Broken Harmful Star, the body and mind have nowhere to rest. The "Ren Xue Jing Yun" says: If the first Transmission's wealth is seated on the戌 earth and is overcome, it is because of the attachment to this wealth that one is drawn into the realm of ghosts. Fortunately, it falls into Kongwang. A common saying goes, better to have neither coming nor going, neither joy nor sorrow—this precisely describes such a situation.

課體：昂星，轉蓬。課義：元戌加酉，奴偕婢走，既撞網羅，奸逃束手。解曰：戌為奴，酉為婢，戌加酉為用，上乘元武，必奴與婢奸而逃走也。然干支各乘前辰旺氣，名為羅網，有不束手就擒者乎。有官人防丁內艱。

The lesson pattern is "Ang Star" and "Whirling Reed": "Ang Star" takes the god at the酉 position as the initiating transmission, indicating anxiety and uncertainty; "Whirling Reed" is like a flying reed turning with the wind, without a fixed place to stop. The lesson meaning says: the Black Tortoise is riding on 戌 and placed on 酉, indicating a servant with a maid running away secretly; since they have run headlong into a trap, these two unfaithful lovers can only surrender themselves. The explanation says: 戌 represents a servant, 酉 represents a maid, and 戌 added to 酉 serves as the first transmission. On top of that, the Black Tortoise is riding, which certainly means that the servant and the maid have committed adultery and fled together. However, the day stem and day branch each ride the strength of the previous hour, which is called a trap. How can they not surrender themselves? Officials should beware of mourning for their mother.

斷曰：昂星之課，亦名轉蓬，關梁閉塞，行李稽留之象。禍從外起，止宜家居，守靜方為吉徵。中末傳歸支干，所當待人三反自訟，而不訟人，有忠恕之道焉。

The interpretation says: The lesson of the constellation of the Bright Star is also called the turning reed, depicting a situation where both the pass and the bridge are blocked, and the luggage is stuck on the way. Misfortune comes from outside, so it is advisable to stay at home and maintain quietness, which is a good omen. The middle transmission and the final transmission both return to the day stem and day branch, indicating that in dealing with people and matters, one should reflect repeatedly and blame oneself rather than others. This contains the principle of loyalty and forgiveness.

畢法云：所謀多拙遭羅網，賓主不投刑在上。古鑑：酉將申時占考弓馬。曰：午為馬，申為箭，巳為弓，全備乃吉。身上有馬而無弓，馬帶陽刃，色黃者不可騎。況所走之地有厭翳，莫令新服人在旁，須先解厭。支干上自刑，賓主不相得。年上見申，箭不得地。況午見酉，酉見午，為四勝煞，各逞其能。午作青龍，僅得兵部垂顧。初戌作元，又乘害氣，如何得中。

This person has a horse but no bow; the horse also carries a yang blade, and a yellow horse cannot be ridden. Moreover, the place where he is going has objects that cause aversion and suppression; one should not let someone who has recently mourned stand nearby, and a ritual should be performed to remove the aversion. The day stem and day branch are in mutual punishment, indicating that the host and guest are not in harmony. The year of the person shows Shen, meaning the arrow does not reach the ground. Furthermore, Wu meets You and You meets Wu, forming the four victory evil star, each displaying their own strength. Wu fire transforms into the Azure Dragon, at most receiving some care from the military department. The first transmission is戌 earth riding the Black Tortoise, and also carrying harmful energy, so how can he pass the examination.

課體：伏吟，龍戰。課義：靜躁不常，失脫須防，動之逢虎，閉口財昌。解曰：伏吟主靜，干及中傳，未遁旬丁，末復來沖，其象又動。酉乘元武，在支發用，失脫之虞，不可不防。中傳晝乘白虎，動則必有禍端。末傳丑乃旬尾，中有癸水為財，閉口謹言，默而取之，庶無驚恐，而無不昌也。

The middle transmission rides the White Tiger during the day; once there is movement, disaster will surely follow. The final transmission,丑 earth, is the end of a ten-day cycle, containing hidden癸 water as my wealth. As long as I keep my mouth shut and act silently, there will be no fear, and everything will flourish.

斷曰：龍戰之卦，事多改革，義主乖違。初傳夜將天后，事起婦人。三傳晝占，皆乘元武虎蛇，尤加驚恐。孟行難行，孟止難止。占者得此，反覆無定，災禍不一。惟干支拱於暮貴。如用夜將，則告貴用貴，所最宜耳。

Divination on disputes: there is injustice but it cannot be appealed. Divination on travel: two thieves, You Du and Lu Du, ride on Ding deity and attack, causing worry of theft. Divination on a traveler: the traveler will arrive immediately. Divination on capturing a fugitive: if divined in the daytime, it is likely to be a relative who committed the crime. Divination on warfare: it is unfavorable.

畢法云：前後引從升遷吉，信任丁馬須言動。三車一覽云：巳日申貴逆行，白虎乘丑，乃貴人怒惡之象。凡貴官值此，必招貴人嗔怒。如白虎臨丑亦然，蓋丑乃天乙本家，不宜見虎也。

The White Tiger being on Chou is also the same, because Chou is the original home of the nobleman, and it is not suitable to see the White Tiger.

課體：昴星，勵德。課義：晝將辰陰，課傳兩申，四虎共聚，祿位空存。解曰：辰之陰神，晝將白虎，課名虎視，是為二虎。支上之申並末傳之申，是四虎也。四虎相聚，驚危災禍，豈淺鮮哉。況干祿臨身，又乘天空，虛詐不實，何足守也。

Moreover, although the禄神 is present on the day stem, it is occupied by Tian Kong above, which is false and unreliable, so how can it be secure?

斷曰：柔日昴星，又為魁度天門，凡占皆有稽滯驚惶之象。喜上神相生，將伯有助，可以化凶為吉。長生臨支，上乘太常，家有婚姻喜慶之事。發用為奴，將乘太陰為婢，作支之六害，應主奴婢害宅。

The first transmission initiating the action represents a servant, and the spirit riding on Tai Yin represents a maid servant. This also forms the sixth harm of the day branch, indicating that servants will cause harm to the family residence.

天時：大晴。家宅：夜貴作長生坐宅，旺祿臨干，大吉。功名：虎視逢虎，不吉。婚姻：支上長生，干上祿吉。胎產：三傳純陽，孕女，產易。疾病：肺經受病，或因飲食而起，極險。爭訟：先發者勝。投謁：賓主不和。出行：陸路差可。行人：有信。捕獲：夜占可捕，晝占捕役與賊相通。兵戰：有驚險，宜慎。墳葬：龍虎相生，上乘長生，大吉。

Divination on capturing a fugitive: If divined at night, the fugitive can be caught; if divined during the day, the police and the thief have secret communication. Divination on warfare: There will be danger, should be cautious. Divination on burial: The azure dragon and white tiger are in mutual generation, with growth above, very auspicious.

畢法云：旺祿臨身徒妄作，虎視逢虎力難施，簾幕貴人高甲第。集要云：此名虛一待用格，蓋戌午本為火局，止少一寅，吉凶之事，必待寅日方應。課經云：晝占簾幕臨支，考試定然中式。纂義云：申常臨支，當有一人送物來家。

The "Kejing" says: If the question is asked during the day and the Nobleman behind the curtain is in the Day Branch, the examination result will certainly be successful. The "Zanyi" says: When the Tai Chang is on the 申 and is in the Day Branch, someone will bring something to the house.

課體：蒿矢，狡童，不備。課義：破碎乘巳，三傳無益，舍此歸家，終受疲役。解曰：干上巳火，雖曰生氣，但為破碎之神。發用旬空，中陷空鄉，末傳亥財能助初鬼，且夜占乘元，豈利取財。乃舍之而趨歸本家，則干加支而被支脫，非惟無益而又有損，自始至終，疲役甚矣。

"The Lesson Pattern" is "Hao Shi" and "Jiao Tong," and "Bu Bei": "Jiao Tong" signifies the Heavenly Empress combined with Liu He, representing a man enticing a woman. The "Lesson Meaning" says: the Shattered God is riding on the fire of Si, and the three transmissions bring me no benefit; abandoning it and returning to its original home, in the end, it is just a futile effort. "Explanation" says: the fire of Si on the day stem, although it is considered Life Qi, is also the Shattered God. The initial transmission is in the旬空 (ten-day void), the middle transmission is in the empty land, and the final transmission, the water of Hai, which is my wealth, can instead nourish the initial transmission's official ghost. Moreover, since it is night, it is occupied by the Black Tortoise. How can one talk about gaining wealth? Thus, abandoning it and returning to its original home, but the day stem combined with the day branch is drained by the day branch; not only does it bring no benefit, but it causes harm. From beginning to end, one is exhausted and奔波 (running about).

斷曰：蒿矢之卦，發用空亡，福淺禍輕。傳課五陰，三傳自晝而夜，盡為昏迷。且天將後蛇合武，利小人而不利君子。晝占狡童，亦恐夫婦異心，各懷邪妄。惟喜上神青龍生干，憂可釋而驚可解也。

Fortunately, the upper deity Azure Dragon is born on the day stem, which can alleviate worries and dispel fear.

天時：課傳皆陰，主陰。家宅：干臨支而遭敗脫，人衰宅旺之象；頭上覆乘破碎，主有虛耗。功名：不利。求財：無益。婚姻：不備之課，又屬純陰，不吉。胎產：陰極陽生，孕主男產，有厄。疾病：脾經之病，或起於飲食驚疑，以致虛脫，有解。爭訟：可和。出行：青龍生氣乘干，陸路吉。行人：干來入宅，即歸。捕獲：晝占盜神是未，在西南沽買家。兵戰：干臨支而為支脫，支脫干而陰不備，主客皆不利。

Divination on disputes: It can be resolved through reconciliation. Divination on travel: The azure dragon brings life qi and is on the day stem, indicating favorable travel by land. Divination on a traveler: The day stem enters the house, indicating the traveler will return immediately. Divination on capturing a fugitive: During the day, the thief god is the earth of the hour of you, located in the southwest, in a shop selling wine. Divination on warfare: The day stem is on the day branch and is drained by the day branch, the day branch drains the day stem and the yin spirits are incomplete, indicating disadvantage for both sides.

畢法云：六陰相繼盡昏迷，龍加生氣吉遲遲。課經云：干上巳，六月占巳為生氣，晝將青龍，乘生干之神，徐徐獲福。指掌賦云：卯丑亥名斷澗，義利分明。集義云：卯丑亥三旬空亡，乃舍益求損之象，名為抱雞不斗。

The "Ji Yi" says: The three branches of卯,丑, and亥 all fall into the旬空, indicating the abandonment of beneficial things in pursuit of harmful ones, known as holding a chicken but refusing to fight.

課體：元首，高蓋。課義：祿來生身，交互忻忻，夜傳可用，晝將更旬。解曰：午乃旺祿臨支，交車相合，而又三傳遞助生身，非交互忻忻乎。但夜貴午乘太陰，所以為美。若晝將中末既爾空陷，而發用復乘天空，則必更旬而後可用也。

The explanation says: the fire of午 is the strong禄, located on the day branch, combining with the day stem, and the three transmissions are connected in a way that each supports the self, which is indeed mutual joy. However, it must be in the afternoon of the night noble with fire riding Tai Yin, which is considered good. If using the day general, the middle and final transmissions are already empty and trapped, and the initial transmission is riding Tian Kong, so it is necessary to change to another ten years.

斷曰：高蓋乘軒之卦，乃富貴榮昌之象。三傳自末生身，凡謀皆吉。但支則受克，干則被墓，辰午又自刑，且夜占兩勾夾干，三傳刑沖空陷。大抵初雖交合，後恐不利耳。

The interpretation says: A hexagram indicating a high official riding in a carriage signifies an auspicious omen of wealth, honor, and prosperity. The three transmissions start from the final transmission and proceed smoothly to the self, suggesting that all endeavors will be favorable. In a night divination, there are two Gou Chen trigrams surrounding the day stem, and the three transmissions are fully characterized by conflicts, clashes, emptiness, and hidden conditions. Overall, although the initial situation is harmonious and integrated, there may be difficulties ahead.

Divination on illness: A problem in the heart meridian, which is difficult to recover from. Divination on disputes: It is not necessary to fight to the end. Divination on visiting and seeking an audience: The host and guest are not in harmony. Divination on travel: Traveling by water is more favorable than by land. Divination on a traveler: The traveler has not yet returned. Divination on capturing a fugitive: The thief's god is寅木 (Yin Mu) at night, so the person capturing should look for the fugitive in an open area in the eastern woods. Divination on warfare: Neither the guest nor the host is favorable.

畢法云：權攝不正祿臨支，不行傳者考初時。課經云：辰加干為交車三合，凡交關用事。必有奸私，或相交涉二三事。神定經云：干上辰雖與支生合而卻墓干，支上午雖與干生合而卻克支，縱有生旺之名，反作衰敗空耗矣。壬髓經云：初傳克末成者罕，末克初傳事可成。

The Ke Jing says: When the辰 (Chen) is added to the day stem to form a triple harmony, any matters related to trade will certainly involve private interests, or involve multiple affairs. The Shen Ding Jing says: Although the辰 (Chen) on the day stem is in mutual generation and harmony with the day stem, it is actually the tomb of the day stem; although the午 (Wu) on the day branch is in mutual generation and harmony with the day stem, it also overcomes the day branch—despite the name of prosperity and strength, it actually becomes decline and loss. The Ren Mei Jing says: When the first transmission overcomes the final transmission, few things will succeed; when the final transmission overcomes the first transmission, things can be accomplished.

課體：涉害，從革。課義：身既受克，破碎傷宅，三傳全脫，勞心費力。解曰：卯為日之鬼，臨干克干。巳乃破碎煞，臨支克支，身宅俱受傷矣。三傳全金，盜脫干氣，凡所作為，徒勞心力而已。蓋課中有鬼，則子孫為救神，課中無鬼，則子孫為脫氣。此課干上雖鬼，卻為旬空，既空不煩金制，故為脫氣而不作救神也。

The lesson pattern is "涉害" and "从革": "从革" refers to the three transmitters forming the metal triad of Si-You-Chou, symbolizing the transformative power of metal. The lesson meaning states: the self has already been harmed, and the破碎煞 has injured the residence; the three transmitters are all spirit of dispersal, leading to wasted effort and mental strain. The explanation says: the卯 wood is the official ghost of the day stem 己 soil, which is placed on the day stem to attack it; the巳 fire is the破碎煞, placed on the day branch to attack it, thus both person and residence are harmed. The three transmitters are all metal, completely draining the energy of the day stem, so any endeavor ends in fruitless effort. In the lesson, if there is an official ghost, theChildren Line is the saving deity; if there is no official ghost, theChildren Line becomes a spirit of dispersal. In this lesson, although there is an official ghost on the day stem, it is exactly in the empty position. Since it is empty, there is no need to use metal to control it, so this metal only serves as a spirit of dispersal and cannot act as a saving deity.

斷曰：傳會三合，事關眾人，課名從革，謀多更改。卯加巳乃日干之明鬼，而發用支上之巳遁乙，為日干之暗鬼。動輒遇鬼，不惟無益，猶有受人脫賺之虞。如占交易等事，後必參商。若先有不和，後卻相合。

As soon as there is movement, one encounters the ghost, which brings no benefit but also a hidden concern of being deceived. If this is about trade, there will be future disputes; conversely, if there was previously discord, it may eventually reconcile.

天時：水空主晴。家宅：破碎克宅，宅主崩損。宅空鬼臨干，人多虛病。功名：官空從革，當遭革職。求財：徒費心力。婚姻：不吉。胎產：有墮胎之患。疾病：病屬心經，身患虛怯，初起可愈，久病甚凶。爭訟：干支各被上克，兩家皆被刑責。出行：行意不決。行人：久出恐因女色喪身。捕獲：晝占盜神是巳，當是爐匠師巫之類，向繫積賊。兵戰：不利。

Divination on illness: The illness affects the heart meridian, the body is weak and timid, the illness can be cured at the beginning, but if prolonged, it is very dangerous. Divination on disputes: Both the day stem and day branch are attacked by superior spirits, both parties will face legal punishment. Divination on travel: Uncertain whether to go or not. Divination on a traveler: The person has been away for a long time, fearing that he may lose his life due to lust for women. Divination on capturing a fugitive: During the day, the thief spirit is the fire of Si, indicating the person is likely a blacksmith or a shaman, who is a habitual thief. Divination on warfare: Unfavorable.

畢法云：干支全傷防兩損，虎臨干鬼凶速速。纂要云：日干之鬼，上乘白虎者，凡占凶禍速極。惟鬼值空亡，或坐於鬼方，或坐於生方，及虎之陰神能制虎者，雖目下有災，後卻無畏也。

The *Bifa Fu* says: When both the day stem and day branch are injured, one should beware of losses on both ends; if the White Tiger is riding on the official ghost that restrains the day stem, misfortune will come very quickly. The *Zanyao* says: When the official ghost that restrains the day stem is occupied by the White Tiger, whatever is divined, misfortune will arrive very swiftly. Only when the official ghost is exactly at Kongwang, or is seated in the ghost direction, or in the growth direction, or when the Yin spirit of the White Tiger can restrain the White Tiger, will there be disaster at present but no need to fear in the future.
