The lesson pattern is incomplete and in its original state, combined with the 'shooting arrow' pattern—where the four lessons do not directly attack but remotely attack the day stem, like a projectile shooting at me. One must check for the presence of 'projectile' and 'arrowhead' to determine the severity. The lesson meaning states: if questioned during the day, there will certainly be loss; the family affairs will be bleak and desolate; one should only submit oneself and comply with others; both the day and night noblemen are powerless to assist.

解曰：晝占天將，皆是土木。土既克干，木亦脫干。巳□貴人財爻，而旬遁為己。申雖壬水長生，而與亥相害，其有所失必矣。且亥脫支氣，又空上乘空，家道寂寞，不亦宜乎。但亥即壬也，自干加支，以就長生，格名俯就，以尊從卑。始雖艱難，終歸逸樂，凡事勉強而後成也。晝貴巳加寅，夜貴卯加子，皆臨刑地，安得有力以及人乎。

When divining during the day, the Heavenly General is either earth or wood. Earth restrains the day stem壬 water, and wood drains the energy of the day stem. The position of巳 is both a Nobleman and a wealth element, but according to the ten-day cycle calculation, it turns out to be己 earth, which becomes a restraining force. Although申 metal is the long life of壬 water, it is in conflict with亥, leading to inevitable loss. Moreover,亥 drains the energy of the day branch申, and there is another empty position on top of the empty position, resulting in a decline of family fortune, which is natural. However,亥 is the original position of壬, and from the day stem it moves to the day branch to seek long life, forming a pattern called 'humility'. This pattern represents a superior person yielding to an inferior one; although the beginning is difficult, the end will be peaceful, and everything must be forced through to succeed. The day's Nobleman巳 is placed on寅, and the night's Nobleman卯 is placed on子, both in positions of mutual conflict, leaving no strength to help others.

斷曰：此彈射之卦，晝得貴人，土為有丸，凡事亦有力。但干支耗洩，貴人失地，苟或妄求，得不償費。喜日上為支馬，支上為日祿，而陰神及用，皆作財神，順以應之，富貴可卜也。

This is a "Projectile" divination. When divining during the day, one receives the favor of a nobleman. The Heavenly General belongs to the earth element. Even though there is a projectile on the bow, all matters still have strength. However, both the day stem and day branch are in a state of consumption and leakage, and the nobleman has lost its proper position. If one seeks beyond one's means, the gain will not match the cost. Fortunately, the day branch is the post-horse of the day stem, and the day stem is the禄神 of the day branch. Moreover, the hidden god and the initiating transmission god both act as wealth gods. By following this trend, wealth and honor can be expected.

天時：晴雨調勻。家宅：人丁不旺，防有暗盜。婚姻：和合中又見相破。胎產：主私合婢孕。功名：待時而行。求財：失而復得，得而復失。投謁：外合內離。疾病：暴病即愈，久病難瘥。失脫：難獲，逃人不歸。出行：不利；行人：庚申日必至。爭訟：有解，憂疑消散。兵戰：多虛少實。

Heavenly conditions: The weather is suitable, with neither excessive rain nor drought. Family affairs: The household is not thriving, and there is a risk of theft from within. Marriage: There is harmony, but there is also mutual conflict. Pregnancy: It is mainly due to a secret relationship between the master and a servant. Achievements: It is advisable to wait for the right opportunity before taking action. Seeking wealth: Losses are followed by gains, and gains are followed by losses again. Seeking an audience: There is an appearance of agreement, but there is actually a lack of closeness. Illness: Sudden illness will recover quickly, but long-term illness is difficult to cure. Losses: Things are hard to recover, and those who have run away will not return. Travel: Unfavorable. Travelers: They will definitely return on Gengshen day. Disputes: They can be resolved, and worries and doubts will disappear. Warfare: There are many who pretend to be strong, but their actual strength is limited.

畢法云：權攝不正祿臨支，富貴干支逢祿馬；人宅受脫俱招盜，空上逢空事莫追。課經云：干支上寅亥作六合，而干支亥申作六害，為外好裡槎芽格。秘要云：蒿矢課見金為有鏃，彈射課見土為有丸，若傳空亡，名遺鏃失矢。

The *Bifa Fu* says: "The authority is improperly held, and the official's fortune falls on the day branch," meaning the official's fortune is located on the day branch, and the authority is improperly held by someone else; "Meeting the fortune and the post-horse on the day stem and day branch indicates wealth and honor," meaning the day stem and day branch both meet the fortune and the post-horse, indicating wealth and honor; "When both person and residence are weakened, theft is likely," meaning both the person and the residence are drained of energy, making theft likely; "When the empty position meets another empty position, there is no need to pursue the matter," meaning when the empty position is again on an empty position, there is no need to pursue the matter. The *Ke Jing* says: When the day stem and day branch have寅 and亥 forming theLiu He, and the stem and branch itself have亥 and申 forming the six harms, this is called the "External Harmony and Internal Obstruction Pattern," meaning the exterior appears harmonious but the interior is full of discord. The *Mi Yao* says: In the蒿矢 lesson, if the metal god is present, the arrow has an iron tip; in the弹射 lesson, if the earth god is present, the slingshot has a mud ball; if the three transmissions fall on the empty position, it is called "Lost Tip and Lost Arrow," meaning both the tip and the arrow are lost.

課體：重審，間傳，向陽。課義：兩貴共處，病篤可愈，以凶制凶，蛇沖虎去。

The lesson pattern is a combination of review and intermediate transmission, along with "sun-facing lesson" — the three transmissions are Zi, Yin, and Chen, moving from the northern extreme yin place to the eastern yang bright place. The lesson meaning states: the two noblemen of day and night gather together; although the illness is severe, it can eventually be cured; this is achieved by using a malevolent spirit to subdue another malevolent spirit; the final transmission, Chen, with Teng Snake, conflicts with Wu on Xu, thus dispelling the malevolent nature of Bai Hu.

解曰：巳加於卯，乃晝貴臨於夜貴之家。而卯加於丑，亦夜貴歸於真貴之地，所謂兩貴共處也。虎乘財墓覆宅，占病必篤。而所以可愈者，虎為凶神屬金，蛇為凶神屬火。今得末傳辰蛇沖剋戌虎，以凶制凶，其凶自去也。

The trigram Si is placed over Mao, indicating that the nobleman of the day arrives at the residence of the nobleman of the night; Mao is then placed over Chou, meaning the nobleman of the night returns to his original position: this is called two noblemen being in the same place. The white tiger is riding on the wealth爻 and theTomb Spirit, covering the residence. If one asks about a disease, it is certain to be severe. However, it is still possible to recover because the white tiger is aInauspicious Spirit belonging to metal, and the teng snake is also aInauspicious Spirit belonging to fire. Now, the final transmission is on Chen, with the teng snake riding on it. Chen conflicts with Xu, and fire overcomes metal, thus dispersing and overcoming the white tiger on Xu. AInauspicious Spirit is controlling anotherInauspicious Spirit, so the凶性 naturally dissipates.

斷曰：此重審之卦，亦為順進間傳。子寅辰為向陽之格，從朔方幽都漸升暢谷。占主自暗入明，初凶後吉。子卯丑戌申寅相刑，申亥卯辰相害，賓主不睦，上下分爭。惟當謹守綱常，力行仁義，雖逢患難，必有變通。

This is a "Chong Shen" (Re-examination) divination, with the three transmissions proceeding in order and sequentially. The steps of Zi, Yin, and Chen together form the pattern of "Xiang Yang" (Facing the Sun), akin to moving step by step from the northern dark land towards the eastern sunrise valley. The divination indicates that the subject moves from darkness into light, beginning with danger but eventually leading to good fortune. However, there are mutual punishments between Zi and Mao, Chou and Xu, and Shen and Yin, as well as mutual harms between Shen and Hai, and Mao and Chen, indicating discord between host and guest, and disputes between superiors and inferiors. Only by strictly observing propriety and morality and earnestly practicing benevolence and righteousness can one surely overcome difficulties and achieve smooth progress.

天時：有雨不足，既雨難晴。家宅：主房屋向東，晝占可獲藏物。婚姻：有兩家女，俱未得成。胎產：男胎，防不實。功名：須貴力交薦，然尚未亨。求財：宜於家中求之，外求難得。投謁：貴在貴家，不遇，遇亦不和。

Heavenly Conditions: Although there is rain, it does not penetrate through; after the rain, it is difficult to clear up. Family Residence: The house faces east, and if asked about finding buried objects during the day, they can be found. Marriage: There are two girls from different families who may be considered, but neither has been arranged yet. Pregnancy: The fetus is male, but one should be cautious of an unstable pregnancy. Achieving Success: One needs the recommendation of a nobleman; currently, it is not smooth. Seeking Wealth: It is better to seek wealth within one's own home rather than outside. Visiting: The nobleman is at another nobleman's house, so it is unlikely to meet; even if met, it would not be harmonious.

疾病：暴病雖危，必愈，久病難瘥。失脫：宜多訪親友。出行：即歸。行人：將到，復有他往。爭訟：有解，利後動。兵戰：不順利，防有意外。

Disease: Sudden serious illness though dangerous, will eventually recover; prolonged illness is difficult to cure. Loss: It is advisable to inquire extensively from relatives and friends. Travel: Went out and will return soon. Traveler: Nearly home, but will change direction to another place. Litigation: Can be resolved, advantageous to act after the other party. Military conflict: Unfavorable, beware of unexpected changes.

畢法云：晝夜貴加求兩貴。課經云：子寅辰有向三陽之象，凡占病癒訟解，人情皆美。心印賦云：子臨四季虎來並，小口頻頻災禍興。又云：元武傳來暗損財，須防盜賊女人乖。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "Day and night, the nobleman should be combined with two noblemen," meaning that the day nobleman and night nobleman overlap, and whenever there is a request, one can rely on two noblemen at the same time. The "Ke Jing" says: when the three transmissions are in the positions of Zi, Yin, and Chen, there is an appearance of moving toward the three yangs; whenever there is a divination about illness, the illness will recover; whenever there is a divination about disputes, the dispute will be resolved; and human relationships will be harmonious. The "Xinyin Fu" says: when Zi is on top of Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei, and the White Tiger is also present, there will be continuous misfortunes in the family, especially among children; it also says: when the Black Tortoise enters the three transmissions, there will be hidden losses of money, one must guard against thieves and also be cautious of women causing trouble.

課體：元首，連茹，三奇，天網。課義：守之則旺，動遭刃網，牛女宜婚，喜事悵怏。

The Lesson Pattern is the main subject, with three additional types: "Connected Grasses Lesson" refers to the three transmissions whose earthly branches connect head to tail, like pulling out grass by the roots; "Three Marvels Lesson" refers to the three transmissions obtaining the three marvels—Ji, Bing, and Ding—hidden within the ten days; "Sky Net Lesson" refers to the Tiangang spreading out above, like a net enclosing a person. The Lesson Meaning says: staying in one's proper position brings prosperity, but once one moves, one meets blades and nets. The Tai Chang is above Chou and combines with Zi, forming a harmonious relationship, which symbolizes the meeting of the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid, suitable for discussing marriage. However, amidst the joy, there is a touch of melancholy.

解曰：干乘旺水，支乘旺金，各守其旺可也。動而前進，必遭網刃矣。丑乘太常，臨子相合，又為牛女交會，故宜婚姻。但子酉相破，申亥相穿，又且中末傳寅卯，並來會丑而脫日干。喜中反生惆悵，美中不美也。

The day stem is supported by the currently strong water of the zodiac sign zi, and the day branch is supported by the currently strong metal of you. Each should maintain its own strength. If one moves forward, it will certainly meet the heavenly net and the cutting blade. On chou, the Tai Chang is present, which is in conjunction with zi, and in the star chart, it is like the meeting of the ox and the weaver woman, so it is suitable for marriage. However, zi and you are in conflict, shen and hai are in a piercing relationship, and the middle and final transmissions are yin and mao, which all join with chou and thus drain the strength of the day stem gui water. Therefore, amidst joy, there arises a sense of melancholy, and the good thing ultimately remains incomplete.

斷曰：此元首之卦，亦名連茹，居高臨下，順風而呼。又且旬奇發用，號曰玉堂，可謂吉矣。然丑寅卯為陽光將泰，日精未舒，豐有聲名而未蒙實惠也。三傳丑寅卯，遁旬中乙丙丁三奇，所渭尊崇傳內遇三奇，君子占之，官居一品，小人亦可消災。

This is the "Yuan Shou" divination, also known as "Lian Ru." Its momentum is like standing high and shouting with the wind, achieving much with little effort. Furthermore, the odd spirits in the ten-day cycle initiate the transmission, known as "Yu Tang," which is considered auspicious. However, the days of Chou, Yin, and Mao are merely the time when yang energy is about to become smooth, and the sunlight has not yet fully spread out. Therefore, there is only a reputation outside, but the actual benefits have not yet arrived. The three transmissions of Chou, Yin, and Mao, according to the ten-day cycle, correspond to the three marvels: Yi, Bing, and Ding. This is exactly what is called "meeting the three marvels within the transmission." A gentleman who divines this can attain the highest official rank, while an ordinary person can be freed from misfortune and calamity.

天時：雨難得，既雨亦難晴。家宅：主有房屋勾連不寧，防口舌災。婚姻：成就，美中不足。胎產：胎動不寧，易產。功名：始利後偃蹇。求財：可有兩處。投謁：賓主歡洽。

Heavenly Conditions: It is difficult to obtain rain, and after the rain comes, it is hard to clear up. House: The house is connected with others, causing unrest; be cautious of disputes. Marriage: The marriage can be successful, but with some regret. Pregnancy: The fetal energy is unstable, but the delivery will be smooth. Official Career: The beginning is smooth, but later there is stagnation. Wealth: There are two sources of income. Seeking an Audience: The host and guest get along well.

疾病：形壯內虛，靜養無害。失脫：難尋。出行：進中有退。行人：尊長即至，餘遲遲。爭訟：必見官，憂疑解釋。兵戰：晝占可小勝，夜占宜罷息。墳墓：支墓發用，傳遇三奇，晝占青龍臨支陰，營葬吉。

Disease: The person appears strong on the outside but is weak inside; quiet rest and care will be sufficient. Loss: The lost item is difficult to recover. Travel: Going out and then returning. Traveler: If asking about a superior, he will arrive immediately; if asking about others, they will return late. Dispute: It will certainly go to court, and worries and doubts will eventually be resolved. Military conflict: If asked during the day, there will be a small victory; if asked at night, it is advisable to cease fighting. Burial: The day branch's墓神 is used as the initiating transmission, and the three transmissions also meet the three marvels. If asked during the day, the azure dragon is present on the day branch's yin spirit, and both establishing and burying are auspicious.

畢法云：所謀多拙遭羅網，互旺皆旺坐謀宜；水日逢丁財動之，一旬周遍始終宜，尊崇傳內遇三奇。心印賦云：三位相連作三傳，進行千里見回還。課經訂訛云：天網惟利田獵行刑、追逃捕諮，中末見子孫為解網，反凶為吉。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "All plans are clumsy and fall into a net," meaning one encounters a heavenly net, and all endeavors are awkward and constrained; "Interchangeable旺 (prosperous) all are prosperous, sitting and planning is most suitable," meaning both person and dwelling are in a prosperous state, and sitting to plan is most appropriate; "Water day meets Ding, the wealth hexagram moves," meaning on a water day, encountering the Ding deity causes the wealth hexagram to change; "A full ten-day cycle is always suitable from beginning to end," meaning the three transmissions cover the entire ten-day cycle, with a beginning and an end; "Honored and respected, encountering the Three Marvels within the transmission," meaning encountering the Three Marvels within the three transmissions indicates honor and high status. The "Xinyin Fu" says: three consecutive earthly branches form the three transmissions, and after traveling a thousand miles, they will return. The "Ke Jing Ding'E" says: the heavenly net is only beneficial for hunting, execution, pursuing fugitives, and inspections; if the middle and final transmissions contain the子孙 (descendants) hexagram, even if the net is removed, it turns from misfortune to good fortune.

課體：伏吟，自信，天罡，勵德，稼穡，三奇。課義：支干互生，華蓋傷刑，晝夜占病，先重後輕。

This lesson has six types, three of which are new. "Hidden Chant Lesson" is when the Heaven Plate and Earth Plate are the same, and all deities are hidden and motionless. "Self-Confidence Lesson" is a type of Hidden Chant where the deity on the Day Stem initiates the transmission, and one can only rely on oneself. "Cultivation and Harvest Lesson" is when the three transmissions form a earth element pattern of Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei, which is heavy and slow. The other types, Tiangang, Lide, and Sanqi, have already been seen in previous lessons. The lesson meaning says: the Day Branch and Day Stem mutually generate and support each other; the Huagai star at Chou is in conflict with Xu and Wei; regardless of day or night divination, when asking about illness, the condition is severe at first and then becomes lighter.

解曰：干上丑生酉，支上酉生癸，為支干互生。丑乃干支之華蓋，而與戌未三傳遞刑。蓋於相生之中，復成蒙蔽，則不免彼此昏迷矣。癸日戌乘兩虎，晝夜遇之，占病極凶，先因沖擊不寧而病重，後賴支上酉金重疊，竊敗其氣，病得輕也。

The earthy branch Chou (丑) on the day stem can nourish the day branch You (酉) metal, and the You metal on the day branch can in turn nourish the day stem Gui (癸) water. This is an example of mutual generation between the stem and branch. Chou is also the 'Huagai' star shared by both the day stem and day branch. However, it forms a cycle of mutual punishment with Xu (戌) and Wei (未) in the Three Transmissions. Since Huagai originally means obstruction, it adds another layer of confusion to the generative relationship, causing both people and dwellings to be shrouded in uncertainty. For a Gui day, Xu is considered the official ghost, and whether it is day or night, it is accompanied by the White Tiger. The appearance of two White Tigers is extremely ominous for a divination concerning illness. The patient first became more ill due to the impact of the three punishments, causing mental and physical unrest. Later, the illness was alleviated when the overlapping You metal on the day branch released the energy of the Xu earth.

斷曰：此自信之卦，亦名稼穡。信己之柔，進用於人，土局沉滯，不遇雷神變化。凡事逼迫，不能自由。幸癸日遇之為脫難煞，課體折腰，戌虎中陷，更得重金以洩其怒，可以免災。兼之旬奇發用，上下相生，人宅互旺，春占亨利。

This is the "Self-Confidence" lesson, also known as "Cultivating Crops." One can only rely on one's own weak strength to deal with others; the three transmissions form a earth pattern, which is heavy and obstructive, and there is no thunder god to promote change. Therefore, everything is constrained and one cannot freely act. Fortunately, on a癸 day encountering this pattern is the "Difficulties Dispelling" transmission. The lesson pattern is broken in the middle, with the White Tiger in the戌 position trapped in the center, and heavy metal energy dispersing the earth's fierce power, thus avoiding disaster. Moreover, the odd god in the ten-day cycle initiates the transmission, with mutual generation between upper and lower, benefiting both person and dwelling. If this is divined in spring, everything will be smooth and advantageous.

天時：有云無雨，但見蒸溼，得風而燥。家宅：主閒房寬廣，宜拆賣儲錢備患。婚姻：中平。胎產：防有胎漏，見血終得安。功名：有奇遇後卻平常。求財：先見有利，終少實際。

Heavenly Conditions: Only clouds are present without rain, feeling oppressive and humid, until the wind arises and then it becomes dry and comfortable. Family Residence: An empty house is too spacious, better to dismantle and sell, keeping the money for unexpected needs. Marriage: Ordinary and unremarkable. Pregnancy: Be cautious of bleeding during pregnancy, but seeing blood will ultimately result in safety. Achieving Status: One will encounter an unusual fortune, but afterwards it will return to normal. Seeking Wealth: At first it seems beneficial, but in the end there is not much real gain.

疾病：主脾腎之疾或見血，雖凶無害。失脫：主於喜事中失物，不出家。出行：主孟見貴，未得行。行人：中路被阻，進退兩難。爭訟：主爭競田土，或兄弟以力相傷，防犯刑禁。兵戰：無利，主中道而止。

Disease: The illness affects the spleen and kidney, or there may be bleeding, which seems dangerous but is actually not serious. Loss: The lost items are usually those lost during a celebration, and the objects have not left the family door. Travel: One originally intended to leave, but first encountered a nobleman, and thus could not depart immediately. Traveler: The traveler meets obstacles halfway, and is caught between going forward and retreating. Dispute: It is mostly about fighting over land, or brothers fighting each other, and one should beware of breaking the law. Military conflict: There is no advantage, and it is mostly stopped halfway.

畢法云：賓主不投刑在上，屋宅寬廣致人衰，互生俱生凡事益。精蘊云：三傳自相刑沖，可以凶制凶，名賊捉賊。袖中金云：脫難煞，物極則變，變則通。常人占之，名鯨鯢歸澗。玉成歌云：三刑為鬼入家破，日鬼用扶官職輝。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "The guest and host do not align with punishment above," meaning the upper deity is in conflict with the main deity, and the host and guest are not in harmony; "The house is wide and spacious, leading to decline of people," meaning the dwelling is too spacious, which paradoxically causes a decline in family members; "Mutual generation and mutual support bring benefit to all affairs," meaning mutual generation between the two sides brings benefit to all matters. The "Jingyun" says: if the three transmissions have internal conflicts and punishments among themselves, one can use aInauspicious Spirit to control anotherInauspicious Spirit, which is called "thief catches thief." The "Xiu Zhong Jin" says: this is called "difficulties escape," meaning when things reach an extreme, they will change, and once they change, they will become smooth; for common people who divinate this, it is called "whale returns to the stream," meaning a big fish returns to the deep stream, finding its proper place. The "Yucheng Ge" says: when the three punishments transform into official spirits entering the family, the family's fortune will be broken; if on this day the spirit can receive support, it will instead indicate brilliance in official positions.

課體：蒿矢，退茹。課義：守祿為良，動被傳傷，勿欺蒿矢，晝鏃堅剛。

This lesson has two patterns: "Hao Shi Lesson" occurs when the four lessons do not have mutual overcoming, but the heavenly spirit remotely overcomes the day stem, like an arrow made of reed grass shooting at me, which is weak in force; "Tui Ru Lesson" occurs when the three transmissions' earth branches are connected and proceed in reverse order. The lesson meaning says: it is best to hold onto the禄神 on the day stem, as once you move, you will be harmed by the three transmissions; also, do not underestimate this reed arrow, for when asked during the day it is riding on Tai Yin, equivalent to being fitted with a hard metal tip.

解曰：子為癸祿，臨於日上，守之為良。若棄而動，則被初傳來克矣。況中末午巳疊生初末，日鬼有力，必為所傷。雖卦名蒿矢，而晝占乘太陰，是為矢帶金鏃，其性堅剛，豈可欺其無力，漫然不畏哉。

The "Zi" branch is the禄神 of "Gui water." Now it is directly above the day stem, guarding it is the best strategy. If one ignores the禄神 and acts recklessly, it will be attacked by the first transmission's "Wei earth" official ghost. Moreover, the middle transmission's "Wu fire" and the final transmission's "Si fire" both support the earth, increasing the strength of the official ghost, which will certainly harm me. Although this chart is called "Hao Shi" (Arrow), the arrow is made of reed, but when divining during the day, it is riding on "Tai Yin," which belongs to metal. This is like equipping the arrow with a metal tip, making it sharp and hard. How could one underestimate its strength and fail to guard against it?

斷曰：此遙神剋日之卦，又為逆傳連茹。支陰發用，元無勢力。利主不利客，利小不利大，利後動不利先發。晝占乘太陰，主有欺詐虛誕之事。禍從內起，不可不慎。日上旺祿極美，惜被未害午沖，美中不足。仕宦占之，則為官祿俱顯。

This is a divination lesson indicating a distant god harming the day stem. The three transmissions areretrograde and connected in a chain. The initiating transmission is taken from the hidden spirit of the day branch, which originally has little power. Therefore, it is favorable for the main party but not for the opposing party, favorable for small matters but not for major ones, favorable for those who act later but not for those who act first. Divination done during the day with the influence of Tai Yin suggests that the main party may be involved in deceit, fraud, and falsehoods, and the trouble will originate from within the household, so caution is necessary. The day stem originally has a very strong and prosperous position, but it is unfortunate that it is harmed by the earth element of the hour of Wei and opposed by the fire element of the hour of Wu, resulting in an incomplete good fortune. A person in official position who receives this divination lesson will experience both official rank and salary rising together.

天時：先陰後晴。家宅：人宅俱旺，夜占灶有驚怪。婚姻：宜成，防有破阻。胎產：主生男，遲產。功名：必得顯達，防有罰俸之事。求財：可得，亦防有阻。投謁：和合，有舉薦之兆，防為他人忌擾。

Heavenly conditions: Initially cloudy, then turning clear. Family residence: Both people and the house will receive good fortune, but there may be some strange occurrences around the stove at night. Marriage: Favorable for success, but beware of someone trying to disrupt or hinder. Pregnancy: Indicates the birth of a boy, with the delivery date being later than expected. Achieving fame: Definitely capable of rising to prominence, but beware of being penalized and losing salary. Seeking wealth: Can be obtained, but beware of obstacles along the way. Seeking recommendations: The host and guest will get along well, showing signs of someone recommending, but beware of jealousy and disturbances from others.

疾病：主小恙，無事，辰戌年命者凶。失脫：物難尋，逃自歸。出行：利西北，不利西南。行人：將至。爭訟：有教唆者，目下雖和，後防翻悔。兵戰：泥中有刺，防敵佯輸詐敗，不可追趕。

Disease: It is just a minor illness, not serious, but those whose destiny or age belong to the Earthly Branches of Chen or Xu will suffer misfortune. Loss: Things are difficult to recover, and a person who has run away will return by themselves. Travel: Going to the Northwest is favorable, while going to the Southwest is unfavorable. Travelers: They will arrive soon. Disputes: There is someone behind causing trouble, although there is reconciliation now, one should be cautious of the other party changing their mind later. Military conflict: There are sharp objects hidden in the mud, be careful of the enemy pretending to retreat, and do not rush to chase.

畢法云：旺祿臨身徒妄仟，互旺皆旺坐謀宜。中黃經云：太陰剋日起奸私，終有陰人起訟詞。指南：己丑年五月申將酉時占續絃。干支上下相合，支上生干，女家願嫁。財官旺相，偕老生男。但末助初鬼克害，又財乘旬鬼，必因妻致訟。俱驗。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "When the prosperous and strong stem is on the person, any reckless action is in vain." This means that if the prosperous and strong stem is already on the person, further reckless actions will be futile. "When both person and dwelling are prosperous, it is appropriate to plan and plot." This indicates that if both the person and the dwelling are prosperous, it is suitable to sit and plan. The "Zhonghuang Jing" states that when Tai Yin overcomes the day stem, it will lead to private and improper matters, and eventually a woman will come forward to initiate a lawsuit. The "Zhinan" records an ancient example: in the year Jichou, fifth lunar month, using the Shen general added to You time, someone consulted about remarrying. At that time, the day stem and day branch were in mutual harmony, and the heavenly stem above the day branch was generating the day stem, indicating that the woman's family was willing to marry. The wealth and official stars were both prosperous and strong, indicating that the couple would live together until old age and have a son. However, the final transmission returned to support the initial transmission's official ghost, which then harmed the day stem, and the wealth star was riding on the ghost of the current ten-day period. Therefore, there would inevitably be legal troubles due to the wife later on. This prediction was eventually fulfilled.

課體：蒿矢，回明，間傳。課義：干傳無用，射物難中，晝若占之，蘇寬病訟。

The lesson pattern is "Hao Shi" and "Jian Chuan," combined with "Hui Ming Ke." The three transmissions progress from yin positions in reverse order, gradually turning towards yang brightness, like a waning moon regaining its fullness. The lesson meaning states: both the day stem and the initiating transmission deity are in empty or defeated positions, thus being of no use; using such an arrow to shoot at something will certainly miss. However, if the divination is done during the day, illnesses and legal matters can gradually ease.

解曰：亥值旬空，未為敗地，日上初傳，俱無用也。未為矢，雖有太陰金鏃，而其用既敗，且末傳卯轉克之，則以此射物，必難中也。夜占中末吉將被克，病訟不宜。若晝占則三傳皆生其將，病訟可以蘇寬也。

The day stem's亥 is exactly in the旬空, and the initiating transmission's未 is also in a state of decline, so both the day stem's god and the first transmission are ineffective. The未 in this case acts as an arrow, though it is supported by the Tai Yin metal to serve as the arrowhead, the arrow itself is already ruined. The final transmission's卯 wood then turns around to overcome it. Using such an arrow to shoot at a target naturally makes it difficult to hit. If the divination is done at night, the auspicious generals in the middle and final transmissions are all harmed by the overcoming forces, making it unsuitable for divination regarding illness or lawsuits. However, if the divination is done during the day, all three transmissions instead support the generals they are riding, allowing both illness and lawsuits to be eased and resolved.

斷曰：此蒿矢之卦，亦名間傳。支上發用，不可先動。傳既逆退，格合回明。大忌驟然舉事，不妨隳心懶意以待之，縱有耗失，後必得償。若一著動差，必有崎嶇驚恐也。卯加巳，兩貴相加，事必干涉兩貴。

This is the "Hao Shi" divination, also known as "Jian Chuan." The initiating transmission is derived from the heavenly stem above the day branch, indicating that it is not advisable for me to take the initiative first. Since the three transmissions are in reverse order, the overall pattern corresponds to "Hui Ming." It is most undesirable to act hastily; instead, one should be lazy and keep thoughts light, waiting quietly. Although there may be some losses in the present, they will certainly be compensated in the future. If a wrong step is taken, the path will surely be full of obstacles and surprises. The卯 (Mao) is placed above the巳 (Si), indicating two noblemen, one for day and one for night, overlapping. The affairs involved will certainly relate to both of these noblemen.

天時：久雨則晴，早占雨小。家宅：宅吉，有生助於人。婚姻：不的。胎產：主生女，產母虛。功名：自心懈怠，不乘機會。求財：難得。投謁：不稱意，生悔心。疾病：主虛弱之症，宜大進補劑得效。失脫：不獲，逃之尤蹤。出行：不宜。行人：遲來。爭訟：有解。兵戰：晝吉，夜占有虛驚。

Heavenly Weather: After a long period of rain, the weather will clear up. If consulted early in the morning, the rain will be light. Home: The house is auspicious and will benefit those living inside. Marriage: The prediction is not certain. Pregnancy: It indicates the birth of a daughter, and the mother's body is weak. Achievements: One's heart is lazy, and opportunities are missed in vain. Seeking Wealth: It is difficult to obtain. Seeking Favor: Not satisfactory, and regret will arise afterwards. Illness: It is a weak condition, and a strong dose of nourishing medicine is needed for recovery. Loss: The lost item cannot be found, and those who have run away have no trace. Traveling: Not advisable. Traveler: Will arrive late. Disputes: Can be resolved. Warfare: If consulted during the day, it is favorable; if consulted at night, there will be a false alarm.

畢法云：空上逢空事莫追，水日逢丁財動之，晝夜貴加求兩貴。課經云：回明格，由陰至陽，有缺月漸回之象。事宜遲進，吉事漸成，凶事漸消也。夜占乃死氣作日鬼，乘太常入宅，主有內孝服至。金口訣、雲霄賦云：行商得利逢坤門，灑酒之徵。指掌賦云：未加酉為繼母。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "When Kongwang meets Kongwang again, do not pursue the matter," meaning when Kongwang is on top of Kongwang, there is no need to pursue the matter further; "On a water day, encountering Ding deity signifies movement of wealth," meaning on a water day, encountering the Ding deity indicates movement of the wealth hexagram; "In day and night, nobleman overlaps with nobleman, the subject can rely on both sides," meaning when noblemen overlap in day and night, the subject can rely on both sides. The "Ke Jing" says: the so-called "Huiming Ge" is when something gradually moves from yin to yang, like a waning moon gradually becoming full again; matters should be advanced gradually, good things are completed bit by bit, and bad things gradually dissipate. When divining at night, the dead qi transforms into the day stem's official ghost, riding on Tai Chang into the house, indicating there will be mourning within the family. The "Jinkou Jue" and "Yunxiao Fu" say: merchants traveling to the Kun direction will gain profit, which is a sign of celebrating with wine. The "Zhipang Fu" says: when Wei is on You, it is taken as the image of a stepmother.

課體：涉害，軒蓋，三交，二煩。課義：全傷身宅，戌空午實，元后奪財，彼凶己吉。

The lesson pattern is "involved harm," with three other types: "Xuange lesson," which refers to a high carriage and decorated carriage, symbolizing honor and success; "Sanjiao lesson," where the day and month hosts intersect with the four quarters; and "Erfan lesson," meaning heaven and earth are both confused, indicating harm from the dark to the bright. The lesson meaning states that both self and residence are injured; however,戌 is in Kongwang while午 is solid; the Black Tortoise and Heavenly Empress enclose the wealth element; the result is misfortune to the other party, with no harm to me.

解曰：戌加干克癸為傷身，午加支克酉為傷宅。但戌值空亡。而午受卯生，是戌空而午實也。雖初財乘元武天后，夾克奪之，不為己用。然彼此之凶固在，而我不害其為吉。惟晝占干鬼乘白虎，亦有凶象。

The戌 earth is placed on the day stem and thus overcomes the癸 water, indicating self injury; the午 fire is placed on the day branch and thus overcomes the酉 metal, indicating damage to the residence. However, the戌 is exactly in the旬空, thus losing its strength; while the午 fire receives support from the卯 wood, making it real and effective. Therefore, the戌 is empty and the午 is solid. Although the first transmission's wealth爻 is restrained and overcome by the two阴将, 元武 and 天后, it does not reach me. However, the danger lies on the other side, and it does not affect me as a favorable outcome. Only when the day stem's official ghost is riding the White Tiger during the day, this is a sign of danger.

斷曰：此涉害之卦，亦名三交，本合高蓋乘軒之格。寅申月仕宦占之，可致顯庸。但魁罡繫於丑未，日月宿加四仲，號為天地二煩，有明夷暗傷之象。又午加於酉為死交，凡事不成，進退維谷。占者有德則應吉，無德則應凶也。

This is the "Shehai" divination, also known as "Sanjiao." Originally it conforms to the pattern of Huagai high carriage and riding in a carriage, indicating prominent official status. Those who are officials in the month of Yin or the month of Shen may attain important positions. However, Hekui and Tiangang are connected to the position of Chou and Wei. The day and month rulers also add upon Zi, Wu, Mao, and You, known as "Tian Di Er Fan," which implies the meaning of the Mingyi hexagram where brightness is harmed by darkness. Furthermore, the presence of Wu on You is called "Si jiao," meaning that nothing can be accomplished, and one is caught between difficulties. Those who divinate this pattern will experience good fortune if they have virtue, and misfortune if they lack virtue.

天時：有雨。家宅：主宅有傷破，夜占防有奸私事。婚姻：可用，夜占不宜。胎產：先防不實，若損墮後，次胎得男。功名：正七月占之大吉，六月占之有凶。求財：可得。投謁：宜見貴，賓主和悅。

Heavenly circumstances: There will be rain. Family residence: The house has some damage and decay, and if questioned at night, there is also a need to beware of secret affairs within the family. Marriage: It is advisable to discuss, but not suitable if questioned at night. Pregnancy: First, be careful about an unstable pregnancy; if this child is miscarried, the next child can be a boy. Official position: If questioned in the first and seventh months, it is very auspicious, but if questioned in the sixth month, it is inauspicious. Seeking wealth: It can be obtained. Seeking an audience: It is suitable to visit a nobleman, with harmonious interaction between host and guest.

疾病：重，難愈，主有膿血之災。失脫：主匿他家，難以尋覓。出行：防遇雨，不利正月六月。行人：未至。爭訟：主鬥傷見血，求貴可解。兵戰：不利，宜罷息。

Disease: The illness is severe and difficult to recover from, there will be symptoms of pus and bleeding. Loss: The lost item is hidden in someone else's house and is hard to find. Travel: Be cautious of rain on the road, it is unfavorable in the first and sixth months. Traveler: Has not yet arrived. Dispute: Often arises from fighting and bleeding, seeking help from the nobleman can resolve it. Military conflict: Unfavorable, it is advisable to stop fighting and rest.

畢法云：干乘墓虎無占病，支干全傷防兩損。精蘊云：虎鬼空亡，目前有災，後卻無畏。有官人占之，赴任極速，名催官符，反不宜空。觀月經云：四仲來加仲，發用阿誰先，有救須華蓋，非此罪迷天。

The "Bifa Fu" says: "When the day stem is joined with the墓神 and the White Tiger, do not use it to divinate illness." This means that if the day stem is connected with theTomb Spirit and the White Tiger, it is not suitable for divination regarding diseases. "When both the day stem and day branch are injured, both the person and the house should be cautious of losses." The "Jingyun" says: When the White Tiger and the official ghost are both in the empty position, although there may be disaster now, it will not be a great concern afterwards. If someone with an official position draws this, they will be appointed to office very quickly, which is called "Cui Guanfu." At this time, it is not advisable for the position to be in the empty position. The "Guang Jingxue" says: When the four central deities are added again on top of the four central positions, which one should be used first for the initiating transmission? To have a saving deity, one must rely on Huagai. Without Huagai, it indicates guilt, confusion, and angering heaven.
