On the Wuzi day, the eighth arrangement: the stem is over the戌 (dog) position.
Charting guides: Da Liu Ren Chart Calculator, Jin Kou Jue Chart
The lesson pattern is a re-examination, combining the "casting seal" and "cutting the gate" patterns. The lesson meaning states: the three transmissions and four lessons connect head to tail to form a cycle; the day stem goes to the wealth place to seek wealth; the day stem's禄神 is especially auspicious; even the official ghost turns back to assist the side that generates me.
The three transmissions are in the order of Si, Xu, and Mao, and none of them are outside the four lessons, which indicates the cycle between the transmissions and the lessons. Si is both the native palace of Wu earth and the禄神, and it is placed upon the day stem and day branch to take the water of Zi to obtain wealth. This is exactly going to the wealth area. The禄 of Si serves as the initiating transmission; if it is favorable for a good matter, it will certainly achieve success. Mao is the official ghost of Wu day, but it instead generates the fire of Si, so the official ghost is now helping the one it should be controlling. Wu uses Zi water as wealth, and taking it is not inherently wrong; however, Wu is located in Si, and the fire of Si is being controlled by the water of Zi. This changes it into a situation of "chaos at the beginning." Disputes over wealth often arise from this, so one must be cautious in matters of taking and giving, giving and receiving. The day virtue, day禄, and life qi all enter the transmissions. Officials especially prefer the final transmission to assist the initial transmission in benefiting the day stem.
General Interpretation: This is the "Casting Seal and Riding the Chariot" lesson, also known as the "Deed of Prosperity." Because the巳 is the deity of virtue, placed on the子 and initiating the transmission, it becomes the Deed of Prosperity lesson. Virtue is the greatest good, and virtue can benefit all things and help others, thus transforming misfortune into good fortune.
Heavenly conditions: If you ask for clear weather, it will be clear; if you ask for rain, it will rain. In winter, there will be snow. Home affairs: All matters are harmonious and consistent, with a good atmosphere in the family. Achievements: Very auspicious. Seeking wealth: Everything goes as desired. Meeting noblemen: You can rely on a nobleman. Marriage: Although the Yin lesson is not complete, the woman is good. Pregnancy: A joy of having a son, indicating the birth of a noble child. Seeking plans: All matters are auspicious. Illness: If divined at night, it is a disease of the spleen. The initial illness is not serious, but a long-term illness is difficult to cure. Traveling: Enjoy a pleasant journey, with a bright future ahead. A missing person: The lost item is not far away. Warfare: Returning with a victorious army.
The *Bi Fa Fu* says: "When the authority is not properly held and the official's fortune falls on the day branch, it is like acting on behalf of someone else with improper authority." When the official's fortune falls on the day branch, it is like taking on a role without proper authority. "When the three transmissions meet the墓 (burial) and enter the墓, there is both dislike and affection, which must be treated separately." If the three transmissions meet the墓 and enter the墓, there is both dislike and affection, and they must be considered separately. The attached divination case: In the second month of the卯 (rabbit) year, using the亥 (pig) general added to午 (horse), to predict whether the person could be reappointed as a patrol inspector and also fill an empty position in the Ministry of Personnel's secretary. The divination said: The lesson is formed, the seal is cast, and the carriage is taken, with the day's fortune falling on the day branch. The final transmission's heavenly stem also serves as the official star, so there will certainly be an appointment, with the person acting on behalf of the Son of Heaven to inspect the four directions. The four墓 are added to the place of birth, indicating a sign of someone who has been discarded but is now being revived. As for the position of the Ministry of Personnel's secretary, it cannot be filled because the four lessons are incomplete, so out of the two things predicted, only one can be fulfilled.
On the Wuzi day, ninth division, the dry branch is You.
"Runxia" refers to the triple harmony of Shen, Zi, and Chen forming a water trinity, representing the nature of water which is moistening and descending. The meaning of the divination says: if the divination is done at night, the name "Congkui" (You) is on You, with the Vermilion Bird riding upon it. The Vermilion Bird belongs to the category of birds, indicating that birds bring wealth. Using this for divination in gambling with birds can lead to great gains; however, using it to divinate about the family residence may bring about calamity.
The branch You has another name called Congkui. At night, if it is used for divination and it is said that Congkui is riding on the Vermilion Bird to generate the water of the day stem's Zi, this indicates that birds or animals will bring in wealth. However, if used to divinate gambling involving fighting roosters and birds, there may be great gains. But if the residence is afflicted by the墓神 (mound spirit) of Chen earth, disaster is likely to arise. If the day stem forms a metal trinity with Si, You, and Chou, and the day branch forms a water trinity with Shen, Zi, and Chen, then metal generates water, which signifies the person's residence. If metal disperses the energy of Wu earth to generate the day branch, it is because of house renovation leading to waste and the person being troubled. Although wealth in the three transmissions is strong, the gains may not be enough to compensate for the losses.
Overall interpretation: Triple Harmony water formation, there is both wealth and joy, and everything is harmonious. However, fear that there is too much wealth, which may not be good. Also, seeing Chen in the day branch and You in the day stem indicates self-punishment, which is exactly what is meant by committing aInauspicious Sha while in harmony, like sweet poison.
Heavenly conditions: partly cloudy and partly sunny. Family affairs: wife and concubine are not in harmony, and there is conflict among the servants. Achievements: Jia and Yi wood are hidden in Shen and You, and metal can overcome wood, so although wealth is strong, it cannot produce official rank. Seeking wealth: one must clearly distinguish between righteousness and profit. Meeting a nobleman: meeting a nobleman can bring wealth. Marriage: not auspicious. Pregnancy and childbirth: the child is a girl, and childbirth is easy. Seeking opportunities: one can gain profit. Illness: even without taking medicine, the illness will recover, but one should fear that food and drink are unstable. Traveling: when traveling by water, one should beware of theft. A person on the road: although the person is reluctant to return, he has already arrived home. Escapees and thieves: they can be captured. Warfare: although there is an appearance of peace, in the end, one will still be invaded. Burial: one should beware of water in the grave site.
The *Bifa Fu* says: "When the day stem is in its墓 and meets the 关格, both the person and their home will decline." The *Miyao* states: When the 辰 is placed over the 子, regardless of day or night, it is乘 by the Black Tortoise, indicating that the husband and wife are not in harmony and there is also a risk of licentiousness and indulgence. The *Zanyi* mentions: If this lesson appears in the month of the metal局, it signifies either someone fleeing or something being lost. The *Xiu Zhong Jin* explains: When 申, 子, and 辰 form a complete trinity, it indicates stagnation, being oppressed, and being controlled, as well as confusion and disorder in affairs.
On the Wuzi day, Tenth Configuration: The Heavenly Stem is on the Shaen position.
The "Lesson Pattern" refers to the name of the structure of a divination lesson. This particular lesson is classified as "Hao Shi" and "San Jiao." The "Lesson Meaning" is a four-character rhyming summary that outlines the overall fortune and misfortune of the entire divination. This lesson states: the first transmission comes from a distant place and falls into the void, so whatever one seeks to achieve will have little power. There is a loss and depletion in the household, and one should not rely on the nobleman's support. Explanation: an arrow made from reed grass is inherently weak, and the first transmission symbolizes this, indicating a lack of strength. The official star representing officialdom is located in the empty position of the fifth hour, and the final transmission is further weakened by its decline. The卯 wood branch harms the day branch 子 water and drains its strength, leading to more losses in the household. The two noblemen in the day and night positions are trapped in prison, so who can one rely on for matters? For divinations on the days of 子, 午, 卯, or 酉, the heavenly plate's four cardinal deities are added to the day branch, with the first transmission (the first of the three transmissions) initiated by the cardinal deity. When the heavenly general rides Tai Yin and Liu He, it forms the "San Jiao" lesson. This lesson has four sides that are straight and level, yet they mutually harm and destroy each other. There are no positions of the four young months (寅, 申, 巳, 亥) to hide in, nor are there positions of the four seasonal months (辰, 戌, 丑, 未) to flee to. If six yang days meet this pattern, it is called "Jiao Luo," and if six yin days meet it, it is called "Jiao Lu." If the person's year of birth and destiny ride on auspicious deities, and the day and the first transmission are in a prosperous and strong state, then it is the image of a person of high rank and honor, indicating great fortune for the diviner, and one does not need to consider the "San Jiao" as a sign of misfortune.
The image of the arrow indicates that the situation is also affected by the empty period of the week, leading to empty show-offs with no real results. The hexagram shows instability in the household or hidden private matters that are unclear. If this situation occurs in the months of Zi, Wu, Mao, or You, it is particularly unfavorable.
Heavenly Time: Divination during the day indicates rain, while divination at night suggests clearing weather. Family Residence: Both the day stem and day branch are weakened and drained, indicating a risk of theft. Official Rank: Mutual conflicts between upper and lower parties suggest confusion and lack of progress. Seeking Wealth: The sought wealth will not be lost. Seeking Noble Support: The nobleman is unwilling to exert effort. Marriage: The marriage will not succeed. Pregnancy and Childbirth: A male child is auspicious, and the time of delivery is approaching. Planning Affairs: Matters under consideration will not be smoothly coordinated. Illness: The illness originates from internal organs and will gradually improve. Travel: The post-horse is not present, indicating no departure date yet. Traveler: The traveler will not arrive soon. Legal Disputes: The lawsuit has a beginning but no end. Fugitive: The fugitive has gone far and is difficult to capture. Military Conflict: There are mutual suspicions and intrigues within the military camps.
The *Bifa Fu* says: When the three transmissions do not continue further, one should examine the situation at the time of the first transmission's initiation. The *Ke Jing* says: When Wu is placed on You, it is called "death meeting," and when You is placed on Wu, it is called "breaking meeting." When the heavenly and earthly plates are in opposition, it is called "reverse gaze meeting," and all these are signs indicating failure in harmony. If there is a proper official (zeng lu) in the lesson, it is called "four cardinal directions," but if there is no proper official, it is called "four dispersals," and it definitely involves communication among three or four people. In autumn divination, using Mao as the general and the handle of the dipper being on Chou or Wei results in "two troubles lesson." The *Yucheng Ge* says: The fortune of the three meetings depends entirely on internal factors.
On the Wuzi day, the eleventh section: the dry branch is on the Wei.
The lesson pattern is identified as "Chong Shen," "Yu Nu," and "Deng San Tian." "Chong Shen" refers to a situation where the lower god overcomes the upper god, requiring careful reconsideration; "Yu Nu" indicates a female losing her chastity and acting in a secretive manner; "Deng San Tian" means the three transmissions progress step by step to higher positions. The lesson meaning states: from the storage (mùkù) to the growth (chángshēng), each stage is a step of deception and eventual realization. During the day, the White Tiger is present, and the hidden ghost of the Jia wood is escaping in the ten-day cycle, with both benefits and harms arriving together. Explanation: Chen is the storage of the Wu earth day stem, and Shen is the growth of the Wu earth day stem. Moving from storage to growth signifies first being deceived and then awakening. The day stem is overcome by the upper god, and the upper god in turn overcomes the day branch, resulting in mutual overcoming and harm, leading to a pattern of separation. Water and earth both have their growth in Shen, and during the day, the White Tiger is on Shen, with the hidden ghost still being the ghost of Jia wood. How can benefits and harms not come together? The White Tiger on Shen also brings the hidden ghost, reaching the extreme of misfortune. Fortunately, Shen falls into the empty position of the ten-day cycle and is located in the fire position that overcomes metal, so the misfortune cannot fully manifest. The awakening that should come does not fully arrive, and one is merely trapped by the storage of Chen.
The divination indicates that matters should be carefully reconsidered. The day stem's heavenly stem falls into an empty position, showing that there is no solid evidence of sincerity and trust on my side. The final transmission has escaped into the official ghost, indicating that the other party is hiding sinister intentions like ghosts and spirits. Both sides are deceiving each other, with no evidence to support either side. Moreover, the official ghost and the tomb god are both pressing down on the day stem, but fortunately it is currently in a period of emptiness and has not yet manifested. If the empty position is filled by the current year, the month builder, or other factors, the trouble will surely resurface again.
Heavenly Conditions: Thick clouds gather but no rain falls. Family Residence: Both people and the house suffer humiliation, with constant lack throughout life. Achieving Success: Cannot achieve success. Seeking Wealth: What is obtained is not what one is entitled to. Seeking a Nobleman: The nobleman is not very helpful. Marriage: Not suitable to promote. Pregnancy: It is just a false joy that does not result in reality; if it is about giving birth, then the child will be born immediately. Illness: Illness related to the liver meridian, which cannot be cured quickly. Seeking Strategies: All matters are unclear and confused. Traveling: Favorable wind and smooth sailing, able to travel thousands of miles in a moment, but fear that the companions are not suitable. A Person on the Way: The person will not come. Legal Disputes: At first both sides deceive each other, and finally the matter ends in a way that is unsatisfactory. Fleeing: The person who flees is only nearby and does not go far. Loss: Lost items can be recovered. Warfare: The army is exhausted and resources are scarce, both sides are in a difficult situation.
The "Bifa Fu" says: If an empty place is again upon an empty place, there is no need to pursue the matter further; if the Tiangang blocks the ghost gate, one may freely plan; if husband and wife indulge in lust, they both conceal their private intentions; if the White Tiger rides upon the escaping official ghost, calamity will be severe; if the three transmissions do not pass on further, one should examine the time of the first transmission's initiation. The "Ke Jing" says: The hour of Chen is called "Tiangang," and the hour of Yin is called "ghost gate." If Chen is placed over Yin, it blocks the ghost gate, preventing all ghosts from peeking in, making it most suitable for avoiding calamity and disaster.
On the Wuzi day, twelfth section: dry morning.
The lesson pattern is judged as "Zhi Yi" and "Lian Ru": "Zhi Yi" refers to a lesson where among the four lessons, only one is selected for initiating transmission based on similar comparison; "Lian Ru" is like pulling up grass roots that are connected, with the three transmissions following in sequence. The lesson meaning says: there is the name of generating and supporting but no real benefit, and the three transmissions altogether are all gods that harm the day stem. In daytime divination, the nobleman harms the day branch; in nighttime divination, the azure dragon and liu he secretly harm the day stem. Explanation: the fire of wu falls into the ten-thousand period void and is on top of the day stem, so there is the name of generating me but no actual benefit. The three transmissions yin-mao-chen are purely the wood energy of the east, so it is called "full harm." In daytime divination, the nobleman rides the earth ox and harms the day branch; in nighttime divination, the heavenly general azure dragon and liu he come again to secretly harm the day stem. Both person and house suffer damage, whether in motion or stillness, it is not a good strategy. The wu on the day stem, although it is a god that generates me, is helpless because it falls into the ten-thousand period void. This is what is called seeing generating and supporting but actually not receiving it. Since the god that generates me has already fallen into void, how can it withstand the three transmissions yin-mao-chen forming a ghostly formation to harm the body? The classic says "spending more than gained," which is exactly this case.
The divination shows a continuous connection, with the three transmissions entirely forming a pattern of official spirits. Only those in official positions would find this most suitable; ordinary people who divinate this are likely to face misfortune, losses, and domestic unrest. Fortunately, the fire at noon falls into an empty position, meaning that the only trouble will be a false alarm regarding documents.
Heavenly Conditions: The weather does not clear up. Family Residence: The parents' trigram falls into Kongwang, so there is a fear that the elders may suffer misfortune. Official Rank: The official ghost forms a situation, and this is very favorable in spring. Seeking Wealth: The wealth trigram is being overcome, so the gains will be slight. Seeking Nobleman: The nobleman is within the house, and if one goes to see him, he can be met. Marriage: A daytime divination indicates success, and the wife will be the daughter of a prominent family. Pregnancy: There is a need to be cautious of a fall, and if the divination is about childbirth, the child will be born shortly. Seeking Plans: Nothing can be achieved to one's satisfaction. Disease: A disease of the spleen, and in autumn there is a risk of it worsening. Legal Dispute: It involves more than one court, and reconciliation is favorable. Travel: The day stem's heavenly stem falls into Kongwang, so one will have to return halfway. A Person Who Has Gone Away: The three transmissions progress in order, but the person has not yet arrived. Escape: The dragon is in the final transmission, so even if one does not look for him, he will return on his own. Warfare: Suddenly a group of soldiers attacks, causing harm to both sides. Burial: The dragon pulse and the burial site are good, but the water method is being overcome.
The "Bifa Fu" says: Most plans are clumsy and fall into traps; ghosts and thieves do not know fear or caution at that time; there is excessive expenditure but insufficient gain. The "Biyu Jing" says: If all three transmissions are official ghosts, they pull the day stem's午 fire, turning 午 into Yangren, making the danger unavoidable; if the person's birth chart is in亥 or 子, the danger is slightly less. The "Ke Jing" says: If 寅, 卯, and 辰 form a wood trinity, in spring when wood energy is strong, one focuses on self prosperity and does not intend to overcome earth, but the disaster occurs in summer and autumn.
On the Jichou day, first arrangement: the stem is on the hexagram of Wei.
The lesson pattern is determined as "Hidden Chant," "Self-Confidence," and "Cultivation of Grain and Vegetables." Hidden Chant refers to a situation where the Heaven Plate and Earth Plate are completely overlapping, indicating that all matters are concealed and inactive. Self-Confidence refers to a Hidden Chant occurring on a flexible day, meaning one can only defend oneself passively. Cultivation of Grain and Vegetables refers to the three transmissions all being earth, similar to the slow and difficult process of farming and harvesting. The lesson meaning states: when the day branch transmits to the day stem, it indicates that the other party is seeking me. The cause for concern lies in the heavenly generals ruling day and night. Explanation: the first transmission is derived from the heavenly spirit above the day branch, and the final transmission returns to the heavenly spirit above the day stem. The transmission from branch to stem indicates that someone else is entrusting me with a matter, and whether the outcome is favorable or unfavorable is determined by this. All three transmissions are of the same type as the day stem and day branch, causing significant loss to wife and wealth. Moreover, the heavenly generals of day and night are either "Teng Snake" (which governs fear and strange occurrences) or "White Tiger" (which governs illness and death), both of which can bring disaster and misfortune. When Tai Yin is combined with Xu, it is called "Being Investigated," which also indicates strange and hidden matters, or being falsely accused by small people, all of which are alarming.
This is a Hidden Chant divination with confidence. The situation is concealed and has not yet begun, twisted but unable to extend. If one remains quiet and stays calm, safety can be achieved; but once movement occurs, it becomes blocked. People can only maintain humility and gentleness to interact with the outside world. The self belongs to the first quarter, wanting to move but unable to do so; the family dwelling also belongs to the first quarter, wanting to be still but unable to find peace. Moreover, the卦 of farming and cultivation is inherently difficult, and it is further complicated by being divined on a day of earth. The stagnation becomes even more severe. All matters are forced to proceed, leaving no room for personal choice. The final transmission also falls into the empty period, leading to no success in anything.
Heavenly conditions: There will be thick mist and damp heat, with steam rising, followed by rain and cold weather. Home: Unrest, frequent occurrences of fright and fear. Marriage: Do not discuss. Pregnancy and childbirth: Be careful of giving birth to a deaf-mute child or a child with insufficient fetal energy; if already in labor, the child will be born immediately. Achievements and fame: Delays and blockages, with no accomplishments. Seeking wealth: There will be losses instead. Visiting someone: There will be mutual dislike. Disease: The illness is in the spleen, long-term illness is not favorable, but sudden illness is not to be feared. Losses and missing items: Search for them quickly, as the lost item is not far away, and the runaway may be hiding in a neighboring house. Traveling: Travel is not possible, even if you go out, you will immediately return. Travelers: They will arrive immediately, otherwise they are still at the original place without having left. Disputes: The disputes are about land and property, with someone inciting and angering people, eventually leading to reconciliation. Military conflicts: There will be fear and suspicion, with soldiers being anxious and the military not at peace. Burial: Unstable and not peaceful.
The Bi Fa Fu says: When someone comes to ask for help, look at the transmission of the day branch to the day stem; when the host and guest are not in harmony, look at the god of punishment falling on the upper god. The Ke Jing says: Although the hexagram may not contain the ten-day cycle god or the post-horse, if the person's year of birth and life stem is riding on the Hekui in Xu or Tiangang in Chen, or falls on Hai, it indicates movement. The Zhi Zhang Fu says: Going against the order to transmit the gods of Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei, the four seasons - in spring it is called 'yue ku', indicating dispersal of wealth not following the proper way; in summer it is called 'zhuan kui', indicating using someone else's trust improperly; in autumn it is called 'sha mu', indicating the momentum is about to rise but not yet fully developed; in winter it is called 'fu yin', indicating the opportunity is gradually retreating and hidden.
On the day of Jichou, second division, the stem is in the morning.
The lesson pattern is determined as "Chong Shen," "Tui Ru," and "Li De." "Tui Ru" refers to the three transmissions moving backward in sequence, like pulling up a bundle of hemp roots in reverse order. "Li De" means the heavenly stem of the day is occupied by a nobleman who acts as the moral deity, symbolizing the cultivation of virtue. The lesson meaning states: gaining a nobleman leads to the loss of the禄神 (lucky deity); the旬丁 (ten-day god) and the post-horse chase each other; matters concerning documents are unfavorable; however, marriage and wedding affairs are suitable for prompt action. Explanation: The nobleman rides on the water of the initial transmission, which is the wealth element of the day stem ofJi Earth (Ji Tu). This water clashes and controls the day's禄 (lucky) at午 (Wu). Gaining this nobleman results in the loss of the禄 on the day stem. The middle transmission is亥 (Hai) water, which is the旬遁 (ten-day movement) of丁 (Ding) god, and also the post-horse of the day branch丑 (Chou). It comes chasing from afar, indicating a journey to seek wealth. The fire of午 (Wu) rides on the true Vermilion Bird, which belongs to documents. Now the午 (Wu) is in the旬空 (ten-day void) and the禄神 (lucky deity) is missing its position, making document matters unfavorable. The子 (Zi) is placed on丑 (Chou), and the divination is made at night with the Tai Chang deity, which matches the image of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl being paired. Therefore, joyful and auspicious ceremonies can be carried out promptly.
This is a卦 of re-examination, with connected trigrams and reverse transmission, indicating that things are likely to go against expectations. However, retreat contains the potential for progress, so one should carefully consider before taking action and avoid acting on impulse. The day stem is supported by the heavenly stem, making all matters suitable. The combination of zi and chou suggests that human relationships will be harmonious. Unfortunately, the wu luck falls into kongwang, and is further weakened by the initial transmission's zi water, leading to empty joy and a lack of real achievement, leaving some regret. If this occurs in mid-summer May, the plans will be fulfilled as desired.
Heavenly circumstances: If you ask for rain, it will come immediately, but if you ask for clear weather, it will be difficult to get sunny. Home affairs: The master will have joyous events, and there is a risk of losing documents. Marriage: It will definitely succeed and be harmonious. Pregnancy: It is likely to be a false joy; if it is about giving birth, the child will be born soon. Achievements: It is just a hollow reputation, without actual results. Seeking wealth: You should get help from a nobleman, or travel far to seek opportunities. Illness: The body is weak, unable to eat, and recovery is slow. Loss: You can find it. Traveling: A long journey will bring good fortune and joy. Travelers: They will arrive soon. Disputes: It is about fighting over money and going to court, but there is a chance of reconciliation, and the plaintiff will have to spend more. Warfare: It is favorable.
The "Bifa Fu" says: If Kongwang appears again on top of Kongwang, there is no need to pursue the matter further. The "Ke Jing" says: When the day stem and day branch are in mutual combination, it is called "Hemei Ke"; if the deity of the combined pair issues the first transmission, and the person's age and birth stem are all riding on auspicious generals, it is called "Hehuan Ke". However, if the day stem and day branch cross each other and form the six harms, it indicates that both parties are scheming, and it is not advisable to engage in trade or business together. The "Zhipang Fu" says: The three deities Zi, Hai, and Xu are called "Chong Yin", they prefer to retreat and remain hidden, being steadfast and upright, and would rather live their lives without ever stepping out. The "Xinyin Fu" says: When Zi and Chou combine, the matter will certainly succeed, and if it meets auspicious generals, it will add even more joy.
On the Jichou day, third arrangement: stem on the巳 position
The lesson pattern is determined as "Chong Shen," "Jian Chuan," and "Shi Dun." "Jian Chuan" refers to the three transmissions passing through each other with one position in between left empty; "Shi Dun" refers to a pattern where one hides and retreats in response to the situation. The lesson meaning states: the day branch is combined with the旬丁 and the post-horse to initiate the first transmission, indicating that the family residence is difficult to sustain and must move. When encountering matters, one should remain silent. The four lessons and three transmissions together show five hidden yin branches. Explanation:亥 is both the旬丁 and the post-horse, located on the day branch and initiating the first transmission, indicating that the family residence must definitely move.巳 is the last position of this旬, located on the day stem and sitting on kongwang, so it is advisable to remain silent and keep things hidden. The four lessons are巳, 卯, 亥, 酉, and the three transmissions are亥, 酉, 未, totaling five yin branches. If the person's birth year and destiny also meet the character丑, then it can be said that six layers of yin energy are connected, resulting in a state of complete confusion.
This is a卦 of re-examination, with a reverse retreat and an intermittent transmission, indicating that the matter originates from within, and is mostly related to women. The superior elder has no power, and there is an element of disharmony. The Heavenly Empress and the Black Tortoise are moving together, showing improper signs. Although the Day Stem is supported by the heavenly stem, it is unfortunate that it sits in the Kongwang position. Pure yin is in charge, indicating discord between the host and guest. The self is in a state of emptiness and darkness with nowhere to appeal, the family dwelling is unstable and unsettled; although it may seem favorable for seeking wealth, in the end it will be delayed and difficult to achieve.
Heavenly Conditions: Heavy clouds cover the sky, with continuous rain for a long time, making it difficult to see the sun. Family Residence: The house faces north and is dimly lit; be cautious of secret affairs. Marriage: Difficult to succeed, and not suitable for discussion. Pregnancy: The fetal god is in the position of growth, the fetal energy is stable but childbirth is unfavorable. Achieving Success: It is through private connections or obtained by bribery with money. Seeking Wealth: The movement is caused by the wife's wealth, or obtained in an ambiguous manner. Illness: It belongs to a yin condition, or the person cannot speak, with recurring symptoms that are hard to cure. Loss: The lost item can be found. Traveling: Although one should go out, it is better to stop for now. Traveler: The traveler will arrive soon. Disputes: The matter involves secret affairs, or disputes caused by wife's wealth, and it is advisable to reconcile. Warfare: Unfavorable.
The *Bifa Fu* says: When the Azure Dragon is placed over the Life Qi, auspiciousness comes slowly. The *Ke Jing* says: The Day Stem is巳 fire, and using the sixth month's daytime for divination, the Azure Dragon rides upon the god that generates and supports the Day Stem, and also serves as the Life Qi of the month, indicating that blessings will gradually manifest. The *Ding'E* says: The three transmissions of亥, 酉, and 未 are called the "Time Concealment Pattern" — 酉 is Tai Yin, and 丁 spirit is concealed in 未 as the Jade Maiden, which is favorable for concealment and hiding; from亥 to 未, it is like a person entering a dark place to hide, implying the wisdom to recognize the right moment and retreat safely. A gentleman who divines this will find it auspicious, while a petty person will find it ominous.
On the Jichou day, fourth arrangement: the stem is on the Chen position.
The lesson pattern is defined as "Amber Star," "Covering the Eyes," and "Heavenly Disturbance": "Amber Star" refers to a lesson where the four lessons have no mutual overcoming, and the position is taken according to the mansion of Amber Star; "Covering the Eyes" means the winter snake covering its eyes, like a snake in hibernation closing its eyes motionless; "Heavenly Disturbance" refers to a pattern where the heavenly plate's middle deity is added and causes disturbance. The lesson meaning says: Hekui in Xu and Tiangang in Chen overlap, indicating a journey to a distant place; the nobleman and wealth爻 produce the first transmission, but one must beware of the improper punishment between Zi and Mao. Explanation: Tiangang in Chen and Hekui in Xu are both placed over the day stem and day branch, and also enter the middle and final transmissions, indicating a layered emergence. Quigang are deities of movement, indicating that the person and their home will not be at peace and must travel far away. Zi water, being the wealth爻 of Ji day, produces the first transmission, and since it is during the day and accompanied by the nobleman, it is certain that the nobleman will help with money. However, Zi is placed on Mao, although it conforms to the name of Li De, one must still beware of the improper punishment between Zi and Mao.
This is the hexagram of the昴 star, also known as the Winter Snake Covering Its Eyes. The nature of Yin is attached to the earth, its energy sinking downward, crouching to look around secretly, and hiding brings good fortune, while being restless brings misfortune. The person making the divination should follow reason and be cautious about hidden and unclear matters. The Day Stem and Day Branch have the魁罡 conflicting with each other, indicating a nature of change; but because the tomb god is pressing down and causing confusion, and it is a flexible day's昴 star lesson, it is trying every means to hide and avoid, ultimately unable to move.
Heavenly conditions: There will be rain. Family affairs: Unrestful, beware of secret affairs and disputes. Marriage: Unfavorable. Pregnancy: Be cautious of weak fetal energy. Achieving fame: It can be obtained through wealth and strength, but beware of hidden losses. Seeking wealth: Either by relying on power or from land, both can be successful. Seeking an audience: There is a way to get through, and profit can be gained. Illness: A disease affecting the spleen, with chest discomfort and blocked energy flow. Losses: Can be found. Escape: Fear that the person may have taken refuge with a powerful family. Travel: Many obstacles, unable to move. A traveler: Has not yet returned. Disputes: Either over money or land, prolonged and unresolved. Warfare: Advantage in the daytime, but beware of casualties at night.
The "Bifa Fu" says: When the guest and host do not harmonize, look at the criminal god falling on the upper god. The "Ke Jing" says: When the魁罡 is added to the day stem and day branch, it is like a person encountering aInauspicious Spirit; when there is heavy earth qi blocking, one must break through the barriers and escape. The "未" is the "Yünu" (a star indicating protection), which can preserve the body; the "子" is "Huagai" (a star indicating concealment), which can cover one's traces; the "Tai Yin" occupying the position of the earth gate indicates concealment; the divine light of the "Tianyi Guiren" can provide protection. However, if the winter snake is merely hidden and the middle transmission is seated on "Kongwang", it will ultimately not move.
On the Jichou day, fifth arrangement: stem on卯 (Mao)
The lesson pattern is determined as "涉害", "从革", and "蓦越". "涉害" refers to a situation where both the upper and lower parts are being overcome, and the one with the most severe harm is used as the initiating transmission. "从革" refers to the three transmissions forming the metal triad of Si, You, and Chou, symbolizing metal that is willing to change and adapt. "蓦越" refers to the first transmission crossing over its original position and suddenly arising. The lesson meaning states: the three transmissions return to the home, resulting in complete leakage and deception. Since the self is riding on the official ghost, it also relies on this metal formation as a barrier. Explanation: The卯 wood is the official ghost of the己 earth day stem and is located on the day stem. Since it is a night divination, it also rides on theLiu He, making the harm even greater. The day branch is ridden by酉 metal, and the three transmissions form a metal formation, returning to the home. The multitude of metals come to steal the earth's energy, and the deception is endless. However, ultimately, it relies on this to control thevicious of the卯 ghost and remove the calamity of the day stem, turning it into its own barrier; although it is subjected to leakage and deception, it is willingly accepted.
This is a卦 of involvement and harm, and it forms a situation of metal transformation. The matter splits into two threads. It will go through many difficulties and hardships, and just as it begins to show signs, it is blocked. When still, there is anxiety and confusion; when moving, it goes against the usual. Fortunately, the卯 meets the酉, although it drains the day stem, it can control the official ghost. There is a lack in the harmony, but the impact actually brings merit. It is lost at the beginning but gained at the end. The beginning is difficult, but the end is easy. It removes the old and replaces it with the new. Because of this theft and drainage, it brings good fortune.
Heavenly Conditions: At first there is much wind, then rain comes to moisten. Home: Although there is much expenditure, there is no disaster, indicating a famous doctor in the family. Marriage: It is inauspicious. Pregnancy: The fetal god is seated on the storage, and again on the empty void, so be careful of insufficient fetal energy. Official Rank: The official element is seated on the empty void and storage, indicating a sign of being drained by descendants. Seeking Wealth: At first there is loss and initial failure, but later there is some profit. Disease: The illness is in the lungs or bones, though weak, it is not serious; there is a young relative in the family who is very skilled in treating illness. Loss: Difficult to recover. Travel: There is much expenditure and obstacles. Traveler: Will return soon. Disputes: There is expense but eventually the matter is settled. Warfare: Equal chances of good and bad. Burial: A good omen if divined in the daytime.
The "Bifa Fu" says: When the White Tiger is on top of the Day Stem's official ghost, misfortune comes quickly; the one that can control the official ghost is the good doctor. The "Miyao" says: Whenever joy is seen with the official ghost, it is only in the case of a wife seeing her husband or someone with an official position; in these two cases, the official ghost should not be empty or controlled. For all other cases, the official ghost is regarded as a malevolent spirit, and it is favorable to have something controlling it. The "Zhipang Fu" says: The three transmissions of巳, 丑, and 酉 are called "reflection," indicating a heart of killing and revenge to repay kindness; when the Day Stem generates the three transmissions, capital and goods will certainly be lost.
