Red gas obscures and enters the Tian Lei Cheng star, causing the northern barbarians to be disturbed and uneasy, and there is an outbreak of epidemic disease.

蒼白氣入羽林軍，有憂；入其南，若入羽林，直南出，皆為后有憂；入其北，諸侯憂；出之，則禍除。赤氣出羽林，兵隨之，凶；赤氣入，兵起；入其東，後起兵；入其西，太子起兵；入其北，諸侯起兵；黃氣入，天子入軍中；黃白氣出羽軍南，后有所獻；出其北，太子有獻；黑氣入，兵起大戰；入其南，天子忌之；入其西，太子忌之；入其北，諸侯憂。

A greenish-white qi entering the star of the Imperial Guards indicates calamity; if it enters from the south or enters the star of the Imperial Guards and exits directly from the south, it indicates trouble for the empress. If it enters from the north, the feudal princes will have troubles. If the qi exits, the disaster will be dispelled. Red qi exiting from the star of the Imperial Guards indicates military movement, which is ominous; if red qi enters, military affairs will arise. If it enters from the east, the empress will take military action; if it enters from the west, the crown prince will take military action; if it enters from the north, the feudal princes will have troubles. Yellow qi entering indicates the emperor personally leading the army. Yellowish-white qi exiting from the south of the star of the Imperial Guards indicates the empress making a contribution; if it exits from the north, the crown prince will make a contribution. Black qi entering indicates the outbreak of military conflict and great warfare; if it enters from the south, the emperor will be wary and cautious; if it enters from the west, the crown prince will be wary and cautious; if it enters from the north, the feudal princes will have troubles.

蒼白氣入北落，有疾疫；赤氣出，兵出；赤氣入，外兵入；黃氣入，中使至，軍有喜；黑氣入，將死。

A greenish-white aura entering the star Beidou indicates an outbreak of plague; a red aura leaving Beidou signifies military campaigns; a red aura entering Beidou means foreign troops entering the territory; a yellow aura entering Beidou indicates envoys sent from the palace arriving, with good news in the military; a black aura entering Beidou means the general will die.

黑氣出入天蛇，天下大水。

Black mist enters and exits from the Tengsha star (the text writes it as "Tian Sha"), and there will be great floods throughout the world.

蒼白氣入天廄，馬有驚。

A bluish-white vapor enters the Tianjiu Star, causing horses to be startled.

蒼白氣入王良，天子憂墜車馬，奉車憂；出之，禍除。赤氣入王良，太僕奉車誅；赤氣中駟馬，內亂兵起；赤氣出，車騎滿野；黃氣入，奉車拜賜，天子有喜，諸侯有獻馬者，一曰：有神馬見；黃氣出，奉車受命，行德令，一曰：天子出車馬賜諸侯王；黑氣入，奉車太僕死。

A greenish-white aura entering the Wangliang star indicates the emperor should worry about falling from his horse, and the official in charge of driving the carriage, the Fenchu official, will also be anxious; when the aura leaves, the disaster is dispelled. A red aura entering the Wangliang star means the Taopu and Fenchu officials will be executed; if the red aura is directly in the Sima star beside the Wangliang star, internal disorder and military conflict will arise; when the red aura leaves, chariots, horses, and cavalry will be spread across the fields. A yellow aura entering means the Fenchu official will be honored and rewarded, the emperor will have joyful matters, and the feudal lords will present horses, another interpretation being that a miraculous horse will appear; when the yellow aura leaves, the Fenchu official will be ordered to travel and spread the emperor's virtuous decrees, another interpretation being that the emperor will present chariots and horses as rewards to the feudal kings. A black aura entering means the Fenchu Duiwei and Taopu officials will die.

蒼白氣入附路，太僕憂之；出附路，禍除。赤氣入，太僕有鈇鉞之誅；赤氣出，兵起；黃白氣入，太僕拜賜；出之，有德令；黑氣入，太僕死。

The blue-white vapor entering the FuLu star causes the Grand Steward to worry; when the vapor leaves the FuLu star, calamity is dispelled. The red vapor entering brings about the Grand Steward being subjected to execution by斧钺; when the red vapor leaves, military actions arise. The yellow-white vapor entering brings the Grand Steward rewards and grants; when the vapor leaves, there are edicts of benevolent governance. The black vapor entering means the Grand Steward will die.

白氣入閣道，有急事在內；白氣出，人主有疾病；黃氣入，天子有喜。

White gas entering the Gede star indicates urgent matters within the palace; white gas exiting from the Gede star suggests the sovereign is ill. Yellow gas entering the Gede star signifies joy for the emperor.

蒼白氣入天將軍，軍中有疾疫，兵多將死；赤氣出，兵多出；赤氣入，兵將皆有凶，軍在外，防客兵來。

The blue-white qi enters the Tian Da Jiangjun star, causing an outbreak of epidemic disease in the army, with many soldiers and generals dying. The red qi exiting indicates a large-scale military mobilization. If the red qi enters, both soldiers and generals face danger. If there are troops stationed outside, one should be cautious of an attack by enemy forces.

黃雲氣入土司空，土工大作，有建國、徙都之事。

Yellow clouds enter the Tu Sikuang star, indicating extensive earth and wood construction projects, and there will be events of establishing a new country and relocating the capital.

蒼白氣入天倉，歲不熟；出之，禍除。赤氣入，兵內起，有火災；赤氣出，以兵出粟；赤氣如波揚入之，大旱，火大起；黃白氣入，天下大熟；蒼黑氣入，天下不熟。

A blue-white vapor entering the Heavenly Granary star indicates that the grain will not mature that year; when the vapor leaves, the disaster is removed. A red vapor entering signifies that military actions will arise internally and there will be great fires; when the red vapor leaves, it indicates that grain will be transported due to military needs. If the red vapor enters the Heavenly Granary like waves, it foretells a severe drought and widespread fires. A yellow-white vapor entering signifies a great harvest across the land; a blue-black vapor entering indicates that grain will not mature throughout the land.

赤氣入天廩，大旱，有火災；黑氣入廩，粟腐敗；黃白氣入，歲豐；黃白氣出，天子出粟賑民；黑氣出，大水傷谷；蒼白氣入，蟲大生；出之，則禍除。赤氣出，天子以用兵出粟。

Red qi entering Tian Lin star indicates a great drought and fire; black qi entering Tian Lin indicates that the grain in the granary becomes spoiled. Yellow and white qi entering indicates a bountiful harvest; yellow and white qi exiting indicates that the Son of Heaven opens the granary to distribute grain and relieve the people. Black qi exiting indicates great floods damaging the grain. Green and white qi entering indicates a large outbreak of pests; when the qi exits, the calamity is removed. Red qi exiting indicates that the Son of Heaven mobilizes grain for military use.

蒼白氣入大陵，天下多死喪；赤氣入，天下兵起，多以兵死；黑氣入，大疫。

A greenish-white qi entering the Big陵 star indicates many deaths throughout the world; a red qi entering signifies the outbreak of warfare and many deaths from weapons; a black qi entering indicates a major epidemic.

黑氣入積尸，天下人大疫死。

Black qi enters the Accumulated Corpse Star, and people throughout the world will die in large numbers from epidemic diseases.

赤氣入天舡，不出一年，有自立者，一曰：不出九十日，水中兵戰；赤氣出，水兵起；蒼白氣入，有殃，天子不可乘舡；出之，禍除；赤黑氣入，天子戒乘舡；黃白氣入，天子幸舡有喜，必有神，狀若光景，處舡上者；青氣或黑氣，舟師勿行。

Red qi enters the Tian Chuan star, and within a year, someone will proclaim himself king; another interpretation says that within ninety days, there will be military conflict on the water. When red qi leaves, the water army will take action. If blue-white qi enters, there will be calamity, and the emperor should not travel by boat; when the qi leaves, the disaster will be dispelled. If red-black qi enters, the emperor should be cautious about boat travel. If yellow-white qi enters, the emperor will have a joyful visit on the boat, and certainly a miraculous phenomenon will appear, resembling a shadowy form resting on the boat. If blue qi or black qi enters, the water army should not travel.

赤雲氣入天積，積中火起；赤氣入，天子用火；出，散貨；黃白氣入，天子自喜，多出貨財；出之，天子有喜，出貨財。

Red clouds entering the Chou Gao star (called 'Tian Ji' in the text) indicate that fire will start among the stored fodder; when the red clouds enter, the emperor will use fire attacks; when the clouds depart, he will distribute wealth. Yellow and white clouds entering signify the emperor will have joy and make large expenditures; when the clouds depart, the emperor will have good events and also make expenditures.

蒼白氣入天苑，牛馬畜獸疫；出之，則禍除；赤氣入，牛馬多死傷；赤氣出，牛馬以兵事出；黃白氣入，牛馬禽獸蕃息；黑氣入，牛馬死；出之，禍除。

A greenish-white vapor entering the Tian Yuan star causes epidemics among cattle, horses, domestic animals, and wild beasts; when the vapor leaves, the disaster disappears. A reddish vapor entering causes many deaths among cattle and horses; when the reddish vapor leaves, cattle and horses are removed due to military affairs. A yellowish-white vapor entering leads to the flourishing and proliferation of cattle, horses, and animals. A black vapor entering causes the death of cattle and horses; when the vapor leaves, the disaster disappears.

蒼白氣入五車，兵大起，民流亡；赤氣入，兵起，大戰；赤氣出，兵車大出。

A bluish-white aura entering the Five Carriage stars indicates major military conflicts and the displacement of the people. A red aura entering signifies the outbreak of warfare and the possibility of large battles. A red aura exiting indicates a large number of military vehicles being deployed.

蒼白黑氣入天潢，有死喪憂；出之，則禍除；赤氣入，兵內起；赤氣出，兵出戰；赤氣出入如揚波者，兵庫焚；黃氣入，若出之，天子有喜，有兵則兵罷。

The colors of the qi entering and exiting the Tianhuang star indicate different omens. If greenish-white and black qi enter, there will be death, mourning, and worries. If the qi exits, the disaster will be removed. If red qi enters, there will be internal military disturbances. If red qi exits, troops will go out to fight. If red qi enters and exits in a turbulent, wave-like manner, the weapons storehouse will be burned. If yellow qi enters or exits, the Son of Heaven will have joyous events. If there was originally military action, it will cease.

蒼白氣入咸池，水蟲多死，一曰：池中魚多飛亡；黑氣入，大水；赤氣出，旱；黃白氣入，天子有喜；出，則有神魚見。

A greenish-white vapor enters the Xianchi star, causing many fish and insects in the water to die. Another interpretation says that many fish in the pond jump out and scatter. If black vapor enters, there will be a great flood; if red vapor exits, there will be a drought. If a yellowish-white vapor enters, the Son of Heaven will have good news; if the vapor exits, strange fish will appear.

黃氣入天關，四方來貢玉帛。

Yellow qi enters the Tian Guan star, and the countries in all four directions come to present jade and silk cloth as tribute.

白氣出天高，早霜傷稼。

White mist comes from the high star, and frost falls early, damaging the crops.

赤氣出參旗，不出一年，西戎來，欲盜中國，若侵地，不出三年，天下煩擾，百姓多憂；青氣出入，同上。

Red qi emanates from the Cenqi star, and within a year, the Western Rong people will come, plotting to plunder the Central Plains. If they occupy the land, then within three years, the world will be in turmoil, and the people will suffer much. The same interpretation applies if green qi enters and exits from the Cenqi star.

白氣出天園，兵起。

White gas comes from the Tianyuan star, indicating the outbreak of military affairs.

青氣從參下入玉井中，不出三年，人不飲食井；黃氣入，三日不去，軍在外絕水；白氣入，兵起；赤黃氣潤澤入之，有軍來降。

Blue qi enters from below the Three Stars mansion into the Jade Well star, and within three years people will not be able to drink the well water. Yellow qi enters the Jade Well and does not dissipate within three days, the armies outside will suffer from a water shortage. White qi enters, and military conflicts will arise. If bright red and yellow qi moisten and enter the Jade Well, there will be an army coming to surrender.

黑氣入屏星，大疫。

Black qi enters the screen star, indicating a widespread epidemic.

蒼白氣入天廁，天子有陰病；青氣入，內兵起；黑氣入，天子憂；白氣入，天子有陰病；赤氣入，有兵；赤雲氣出天廁，禍除；黃白氣出入，皆為有喜。

A greenish-white cloud entering the Tian Ce star indicates the emperor has a hidden illness; green cloud entering signifies internal rebellion; black cloud entering indicates the emperor has worries; white cloud entering suggests the emperor has a hidden illness; red cloud entering indicates military affairs. A red cloud emerging from the Tian Ce star signifies the removal of calamity; yellowish-white clouds entering and exiting the Tian Ce star both indicate good news.

蒼白氣入兩河戍間，兵大起，道不通；出河戍，則禍除；入北河，則邊兵動，又為疾疫，夷主死；赤氣出兩河間，天子用兵於諸侯；黃白氣入河戍間，隨河行，天子出德令，天下有難，道路不通。

A greenish-white qi enters between the southern and northern rivers and the two戍 positions, leading to major military conflicts and blocked roads; if the qi exits from the river and戍 positions, calamities will be eliminated; if the qi enters the northern river, there will be military movements at the borders and an outbreak of plague, with the leaders of the夷 people dying. If red qi exits from between the two rivers, the Son of Heaven will wage war against the feudal lords. If yellowish-white qi enters between the two rivers and the two戍 positions, following the direction of the river stars, the Son of Heaven will issue virtuous edicts, but there will be troubles throughout the land and roads will be blocked.

蒼白氣入五諸侯，諸侯有黜死者。

The greenish-white qi enters the Five Marquises stars, indicating that among the marquises there are those who have been deposed or died.

蒼白氣入積水，天下水災。

A bluish-white vapor enters the Accumulated Water Star, indicating water disasters throughout the world.

赤氣入積薪，火焚積聚。

Red energy enters the Accumulated Fire Star, and a great fire will burn the stored goods.

黑氣入水位，大水；赤氣入，大旱。

Black qi entering the Water Star indicates great flooding; red qi entering the Water Star indicates great drought.

赤氣入軍市，軍中大驚。

Red energy enters the Military Market star, causing great disturbance in the military.

赤氣入闕丘，宮中火災，天子不安其居。

Red qi enters the Què Qiū star, a fire breaks out in the palace, and the Son of Heaven cannot find peace in his dwelling.

赤氣入天狼，胡兵入塞，民大恐憂。

Red energy enters the star Tianlang, the Hu people's troops cross the frontier and invade, causing great panic and fear among the people.

赤氣入弧矢，天下驚恐，一曰：邊陲有警；黑氣入弧，胡中疫作。

Red vapor enters the Hu Shi star, causing alarm and unrest throughout the land; another interpretation says there is an alarm from the frontier. Black vapor enters the Hu star, causing an outbreak of plague in the territory of the Hu people.

白氣奄入老人，王者國絕。

White vapor covers and enters the star of the old man, indicating the end of the king's dynasty.

黑氣奄入天紀，禽獸大疫，六畜死耗。

Black clouds cover and enter the celestial star Tianji, causing great epidemic diseases among animals. Cattle, horses, sheep, chickens, dogs, and pigs, these "six domesticated animals," suffer heavy losses.

赤氣入之，天下烽火舉動。

Red energy enters the Guan star, and the beacon fires across the land will soon be lit to alarm, with warfare breaking out everywhere.

赤氣入酒旗，天子以酒喪身。

Red qi enters the Wine Flag Star, and the sovereign will die from drinking alcohol.
