《海中占》曰：“填星入河鼓，大將有受賜地者，期百八十日，遠一年。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星中犯河鼓大將，若左右將，有誅；其犯守之，為誅；若有罪，以五色占之。”

The Sea of the Sea Divination says: When the planet of earth enters the three stars of He Gu, there will be a great general who receives a title and is granted land, and the period for this event is one hundred and eighty days, or one year if delayed. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth directly confronts the central general star among the three stars of He Gu, or when it confronts the two general stars on either side, it indicates that the general will be executed. If the planet of earth invades and stays upon He Gu, the same outcome of execution occurs. Whether the punishment is death or merely a crime depends on the five colors—green, red, yellow, white, and black—displayed by the planet of earth. The three stars of He Gu symbolize military drums and the general, so the fortune or misfortune lies entirely upon the general.

石氏曰：“填星犯離珠，宮中有事；若有亂宮者；若宮人有罪黜者。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of Earth invades the star of the Fire Jewel, there will be incidents within the palace; or someone will rebel within the palace, causing disorder in the inner court; or palace attendants will be punished and expelled. The Fire Jewel is the star associated with the ornament worn by the female ruler, belonging to the inner palace. Therefore, the calamity will occur within the palace.

《聖洽符》曰：“填星犯守匏瓜，天下有憂；若有遊兵，名果貴；一曰魚鹽貴，價十倍，不出其年。”

The Shengqie Fu says: When the planet Saturn invades and stays at the "Paojia" star, there will be calamities throughout the land; or there may be scattered troops wandering around, and expensive fruits will become very costly. Another interpretation is that fish and salt will rise in price, reaching ten times their usual cost, but this prediction did not come true in the following year. Paojia is associated with the cultivation of fruits and vegetables and also relates to the imperial harem, so this omen specifically indicates the fluctuation in the prices of goods.

郗萌曰：“填星犯天津，關道絕不通，有兵起；若關吏有憂；若守有兵革。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星出天津中，天下大水有溢者；若天下有急。”

Xi Meng said: The planet of earth invades the Tianjin star, causing blockage of passes and roads, and there will be warfare; or the officials guarding the passes will suffer misfortune; or the planet of earth remains above it, indicating turmoil and warfare. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth passes through the nine stars of Tianjin, there will be great floods overflowing throughout the land; or there will be urgent events occurring in the world. Tianjin spans across the Milky Way, symbolizing a ferry crossing, so this omen corresponds to both the blockage of passes and roads and the flooding of waters.

甘氏曰：“填星守螣蛇，天子前驅凶；若奸臣有謀，前驅為害。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn remains at the position of 'Teng Sha', it indicates that the vanguard generals preceding the emperor will face danger. Alternatively, it may signify that wicked ministers are secretly plotting, and even those who lead and protect the emperor may turn into a source of calamity. Teng Sha represents the image of a flying snake, a water creature, which inherently signifies strange and unusual events. Therefore, this omen is often associated with disturbances among the attendants and guards.

石氏曰：“填星守王良，為有兵。”齊伯曰：“填星守犯王良，天下有兵，諸侯相攻，強臣謀主，期不出年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth stays at the star 'Wangliang', there will be warfare. Qi Bo says: When the planet of earth stays and invades the star Wangliang, the whole world will see military calamities, the feudal princes will attack each other, and powerful ministers will plot against the sovereign. The time of this event will not occur within the same year. Wangliang is the star of the sovereign's charioteer, governing the movement of carriages and horses. When this star is disturbed, it corresponds to military campaigns and the movement of troops.

石氏曰：“填星犯守閣道而絕漢者，為九州異政，各主其土，天下兵，期二年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Saturn invades and remains on the stars of the 'Gedao' path, crossing the Milky Way horizontally, it indicates that the nine provinces will each govern themselves, not under a single authority, each claiming its own territory and acting independently, leading to warfare across the land, expected to last two years. Gedao is a secondary path from the Purple Palace to Yingshi, originally the route for the sovereign to travel. When Saturn blocks this path, it symbolizes that imperial decrees cannot reach all directions.

石氏曰：“填星守附路，大僕有罪，若誅；一曰馬多死，道無乘馬者。”

The Shi school says: The planet of the Earthly Stem is stationed on the star of 'Fulù', so the Grand Steward in charge of carriages will be punished, even executed; another view is that many horses will die, and there will be no riders on horseback on the road. Fulù is a subsidiary path beside the celestial path, governing the movement and stopping of carriages, so its change should be reflected in the official responsible for horses and the carriages themselves.

郗萌曰：“填星入天大將軍，與軍者吉。”石氏曰：“填星犯守天大將軍，為大將困；若有死者。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet of Earth enters the "Tian Da Jiangjun" star region, it is auspicious for those involved in military affairs. The Shi school said: When the planet of Earth invades and stays on Tian Da Jiangjun, it indicates that the general is in trouble and even people may die as a result. Tian Da Jiangjun commands the heavenly troops, so the same celestial phenomenon brings different fortune for those who serve in the army and the general himself. Therefore, when making predictions, they should be considered separately.

石氏曰：“填星入大陵，國有喪，大臣有誅，若戮死；人民死者半，皆不出其年。”

The Shi school said: When the planet Saturn enters the 'Daling' star region, there will be mourning in the country, ministers will be executed, and even suffer the extreme punishment of public display of corpses; more than half of the people will die. All these events will be fulfilled within the same year. Daling is a star that governs accumulation of corpses and burial, which naturally presides over death and mourning. When Saturn enters this region, the calamity will be especially severe.

石氏曰：“填星乘捲舌，天下可喪。”又占曰：“填星入守捲舌，國有佞臣謀其君，以口捲舌，為人主有憂。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth rises and overshadows the 'tongue rolling' star, there will be calamity throughout the land. Another divination says: When the planet of earth enters and stays within the 'tongue rolling' star, there will be a cunning minister within the country plotting against his sovereign. Using his eloquent tongue, he will reverse right and wrong, causing the sovereign to be plagued by worries. The 'tongue rolling' star is associated with slander through words, so this omen indicates disaster arising from verbal accusations and plots.

石氏曰：“填星犯五車，大旱，若有喪；一曰犯庫星，兵起北方，若西方；犯倉星，穀貴，若有水。”《海中占》曰：“填星入五車，兵大起，車騎行，五穀不成，天下民飢，若軍絕糧。”郗萌曰：“填星守天庫，以喪起兵國中。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth invades the 'Wu Che' star, there will be a great drought or mourning; another view says, when the planet of earth invades the 'ku star' among the Wu Che, warfare will start in the north or the west; when it invades the 'cang star', grain prices will rise sharply, or there will be floods. The book Hai Zhong Zhan says: When the planet of earth enters Wu Che, great military calamities will arise, chariots and cavalry will be mobilized, the five grains will not be ripe, the people throughout the land will suffer from famine, or there will be shortages of food in the army. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth stays on 'Tian Ku', the country will start warfare due to mourning. Wu Che originally governs military chariots and granaries, so this omen corresponds to both military campaigns and the harvest of grain.

又占曰：“填星舍五車中央，大旱；又多蟲，在燕、伐。”又占曰：“填星舍五車東北、六畜蕃息，繒帛大賤；一曰天下多凶；舍東南，高田收，下田不收；又萬民多疾，無死者，民反壽；舍西南，布若棺槨並貴；舍西北，天下安寧。”又占曰：“填星守昴，東行至天高，復反五車；為邊兵發，有赦令。”

Another divination text says: When the planet Saturn stops at the center of the Five Stars, it indicates a great drought; there will also be many pests, and the disaster area will be in the Yan region and the territory corresponding to the star Faval. Another divination text says: When Saturn stops at the northeast corner of the Five Stars, livestock will flourish, and the price of silk and cloth will drop greatly; another interpretation says that there will be many calamities throughout the country. When Saturn stops at the southeast corner, the fields in high places will have a good harvest, but the fields in low places will yield nothing; also, the people will suffer many diseases, but they will not die, instead enjoying a long life. When Saturn stops at the southwest corner, the price of cloth and coffins will rise together. When Saturn stops at the northwest corner, the country will be peaceful and free of incidents. Another divination text says: When Saturn stays at the mansion of Hairy Head and moves eastward to the star "High Heaven," then turns back to the Five Stars; it indicates military campaigns on the borders, and the court will issue an amnesty decree.

石氏曰：“填星行天關中，每至柳楊，當去不去，徘徊亂行，光色盛怒，見其妖祥，中國隔絕，道路不通。”郗萌曰：“填星守天關，貴人多死。”巫咸曰：“填星守天關，王者壅蔽，信使不達，若關梁不通。”郗萌曰：“填星行不從天關，不出其年，有兵。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth is located between the star Tian Guan, and whenever it reaches the area of Liu and Yang, it should move but does not, instead wandering back and forth, moving erratically, with bright and fierce light as if in anger, displaying such ominous signs. Then the central plains and all directions become isolated, and roads are cut off. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth stays at Tian Guan, many noblemen will die. Wu Xian says: When the planet of earth stays at Tian Guan, the king is obscured and blocked, messengers' messages cannot be conveyed, or gates and bridges are blocked and impassable. Xi Meng also says: When the planet of earth does not pass through Tian Guan as it should, the prediction for that year will not be fulfilled, and there will be warfare. Tian Guan is the gateway through which the sun, moon, and five planets enter and exit. If this gate is obstructed, all the predicted events will be isolated and blocked.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星乘南河戍，若出南河南，為中國。”石氏曰：“填星守南河，蠻夷兵起，邊城有憂；若旱災，人民飢。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星行南河戍中，若留止守之，為有喪。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星行南河戍中，若留止守之，為旱；一曰為有疾在民。”郗萌曰：“填星行南河戍中，若留止守之，為有喪。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth appears above and suppresses 'Nan He Xu', or emerges from the south of Nan He, the verification will occur in the Central Plains states. The Shi school says: When the planet of earth stays on Nan He, the four barbarian tribes will rise in rebellion, border cities will suffer calamities; or there will be drought, and the people will suffer from famine. The Yellow Emperor's Divination also says: When the planet of earth moves within Nan He Xu, or remains stationed above it, there will be mourning. The Yellow Emperor's Divination further says: When the planet of earth moves within Nan He Xu, or remains stationed above it, there will be drought; another interpretation is that an epidemic will spread among the people. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth moves within Nan He Xu, or remains stationed above it, there will be mourning. Nan He and Bei He are located on either side of Jing Xu, like the northern and southern gatekeepers, marking the boundary between the Huaxia and the barbarians. Therefore, the divination texts related to this star official often distinguish between the Central Plains and the four barbarian tribes.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星出北河戍北，若乘之，為王死。”郗萌曰：“填星出河戍北，若乘之，為有女喪。”又占曰：“填星守北河戍西，五穀無實。”又占曰：“填星失度，守陰門若陽門，皆為諸侯奸。”《玄冥占》曰：“北主死，天下大水，人民飢，期不出二年之內。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth moves out from north of the northern river's戍 position or rises above and presses upon it, it indicates the death of the king. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth moves out from north of the northern river's戍 position or rises above and presses upon it, it indicates the death of a female relative. Another divination says: When the planet of earth stays west of the northern river's戍 position, the five grains will not mature. Another divination says: When the planet of earth deviates from its normal course and stays on the阴门 or阳门, it indicates that the feudal lords have secret plots. The玄冥 Divination says: The northern ruler will die, there will be great floods throughout the land, and the people will suffer from hunger, and this prediction will come true within two years. The northern river is called the阴门, and the southern river is called the阳门, which are the northern and southern gateways in the sky. Therefore, this omen relates to the survival or death of the sovereign and the feudal lords.

郗萌曰：“填星經南河戍之南，刑法峻暴，誅伐不當；經北河戍之北，以女子、金錢、貪色、奢侈，失治道，期三年。”又占曰：“填星守南北河戍，賜爵祿，不出六十日，有赦；一曰有土功事。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星出北河戍間，若留守北戍；若居南河戍間，若守南戍；為天下有難起，道路不通。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet of earth passes south of the southern river and the western border, it indicates severe and brutal punishments, and wrongful executions and military campaigns; when it passes north of the northern river and the western border, it indicates the king indulging in concubines, wealth, women, and luxury, thus losing the way of governing the country, and this should be expected within three years. Another divination says: When the planet of earth stays on the southern river and the northern river and the western border, the court will bestow titles and salaries, and within no more than sixty days there will be an amnesty; another interpretation suggests that there will be construction projects. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth passes out from between the northern river and the western border, or stays at the northern border; or enters between the southern river and the western border, or stays at the southern border: these all indicate that calamities will arise in the country, and roads will be blocked.

石氏曰：“填星犯五諸侯，若守之，兵大起，將士出，諸侯有死者。”巫咸曰：“填星入五諸侯，伺其出日而數之，二十日，兵發；伺其入處之率，一日期十日，軍罷。”石氏曰：“填星中犯乘守五諸侯，兵死，期三年。”郗萌曰：“填星中犯乘守五諸侯，為所中乘守者，諸侯有殃；期三年，兵發。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth invades or stays on the position of the Five Princes, great military calamities will arise, generals will go to war, and among the princes, some will die. Wu Xian says: When the planet of earth enters the position of the Five Princes, one should watch the day it leaves and count twenty days from that day to launch an army; also, according to the duration of its stay, if the planet remains for one day, the army should disband after ten days. The Shi school says: When the planet of earth directly confronts, overshadows, and stays on the position of the Five Princes, it indicates the death of soldiers in battle, and the calamity will occur within three years. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth directly confronts, overshadows, and stays on the position of the Five Princes, the prince corresponding to the position that is confronted or overshadowed will suffer disaster; the calamity will occur within three years, and military action will be initiated at that time.

巫咸曰：“填星犯守積水，其國有水災，萬物不成，魚鹽貴，一曰以水為敗，糴大貴，人民飢，期二年。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Saturn invades and stays at the 'Accumulated Water' star, and the country corresponding to this star will suffer from water disasters, with all things failing to mature, fish and salt prices rising; another account says that due to water disasters, there will be failure and collapse, the price of grain soars, and the people suffer from hunger, which will occur within two years. The 'Accumulated Water' star governs the storage of water and liquid, so the meaning of this omen is entirely related to water disasters and grain prices.

甘氏曰：“填星守積薪，天下旱，五穀不登，人民飢亡。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn remains stationed at the star "Jixin" (accumulated firewood), the whole country experiences a great drought, with poor harvests of grain and people starving to death. Jixin represents the image of piled firewood, which is used for fire. Saturn staying there for a long time causes the drought demon to prevail and the harvest to be poor.

石氏曰：“填星守犯水位，天下水為害，津關不通；一曰大水入城郭，傷人民，不出二年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth remains and invades the 'water position' star, there will be water disasters throughout the country, with ferry crossings and checkpoints blocked off; another account says that great floods will flood the city walls, injuring the people, and this will come to pass within two years. The four stars of the water position are located north of Yu鬼 and Liu Xu, governing the officials responsible for water balance and the rise and fall of water levels. When these stars are invaded, it directly indicates flooding.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星行軒轅中，犯女主，女主失勢；（失勢者，憂喪也。）列大夫有放逐者；五官有治者。色悴，為憂，為疾；其所中犯乘守者誅；若有罪。”石氏曰：“填星在軒轅中，有以女子謀人君者。”又占曰：“填星守軒轅，天下大赦。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of Earth is located among the star cluster called "Xuanyuan," and it invades the star representing the female ruler, it indicates that the female ruler will lose her power (note from the original text: losing power means encountering calamity and death). Among the officials in court, there will be those who are exiled; among the five ministers, there will be those who are investigated and punished. If the planet of Earth appears dark and dull, it signifies sorrow and illness. Those whose stars are directly confronted, overpowered, or guarded by the planet of Earth will be executed or punished. The Shi school says: When the planet of Earth is stationed within Xuanyuan, someone will use a woman to plot against the king. Another divination says: When the planet of Earth remains in Xuanyuan, the whole country will issue a great amnesty.

甘氏曰：“填星守軒轅，天下大亂，後宮破散，改政易王；人主以赦除咎，期三年。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星守犯女主，女主當之；中犯女，主女主憂。”巫咸曰：“填星行犯守軒轅，女主失政，若失賊；一曰大臣當之，若出黜者，期二年。”（《宋書天文志》曰：晉穆帝昇平二年十二月辛卯，填星犯軒轅大星，三年十月，豫州刺史謝萬入朝，眾潰而歸，除名為民，十一月，司徒會稽王以二鎮敗，求自貶三等也。）

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn remains in the position of Xuanyan, there will be great chaos throughout the land, the imperial harem will scatter and be ruined, the government orders will change, and the ruler will be replaced. The ruler will use the issuance of pardons to eliminate calamities, and the period of this event will be three years. The "Yellow Emperor's Divination" says: When Saturn remains and invades the star of the female ruler, the calamity will be borne by the female ruler; if it directly confronts the star of the female ruler, it indicates sorrow for the female ruler. Wu Xian said: When Saturn moves and invades and remains in Xuanyan, it indicates that the female ruler will lose her authority, or there will be encounters with bandits; another interpretation is that the calamity will be borne by the ministers, or someone will be demoted and dismissed, and the period of this event will be two years. (The original book's note cites the "Song History · Astronomical Records" which says: In the twelfth month of the second year of Emperor Mu of Jin's Shengping era, on the Xinmao day, Saturn invaded the great star of Xuanyan; in the tenth month of the third year of Shengping, the governor of Yu州, Xie Wan, entered the court, and his territory collapsed and returned, and he was removed from the register and demoted to commoner status; in the eleventh month, the Chancellor, Prince of Kuaiji, due to two military defeats, voluntarily requested a reduction of his rank by three levels.)

石氏曰：“填星中犯乘守軒轅大民星，大飢大流，太后宗有誅者，若有罪；中犯乘守少民星，小飢小流，皇后宗有誅者，若有罪。”石氏曰：“填星入軒轅中，犯乘守之，有逆賊，若火災。”

The Shi school said: When the planet Saturn directly confronts, overshadows, and remains on the 'Great People' star of Xuanyuan, it indicates a great famine and large-scale migration, with someone from the empress dowager's family being executed or punished. If Saturn directly confronts, overshadows, and remains on the 'Lesser People' star, it indicates a minor famine and small-scale migration, with someone from the empress's family being executed or punished. The Shi school also said: When Saturn enters Xuanyuan and confronts, overshadows, and remains on it, it indicates the occurrence of rebels or fires. Xuanyuan symbolizes the imperial concubines and the body of the yellow dragon, so the implications of this omen are entirely within the palace and the imperial relatives.

石氏曰：“填星入少微，君當求賢佐；不求賢佐，則失威奪勢矣。”石氏曰：“填星犯守少微，名士有憂；王者任用小人，忠臣被害，有死者。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星入中犯乘守少微，為宰相易；又曰為女主有憂。”石氏曰：“填星入中犯乘守少微，為五官亂，宰相有憂。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth enters the area of the star "Shao Wei," the ruler should seek virtuous ministers; if he does not seek virtuous ministers, he will lose his authority and lose power. The Shi school also says: When the planet of earth invades and stays on Shao Wei, renowned scholars will suffer misfortune; the king employs petty men, loyal ministers are falsely accused, and some may even die because of this. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth enters, invades, and stays on Shao Wei, the prime minister will be replaced; it also says that the female ruler will have worries. The Shi school says: When the planet of earth enters, invades, and stays on Shao Wei, the five officials will be in disorder, and the prime minister will have worries. The four stars of Shao Wei represent virtuous men who live in seclusion, so this omen is specifically about the gains and losses of people.

陳卓曰：“填星犯太微，女主持政，大夫執綱。”《荊州占》曰：“填星入太軌道，吉；輕道者，入西門，出東門；若左右掖門，行不留也；不執道者，謂有所犯守也。”石氏曰：“填星出東掖門，為相受命，東南出德事也；出西掖門，為將受命，西南出刑事也。期以春夏。”

Chen Zhuo said: When the planet Saturn invades the Taiwei enclosure, it indicates that a female ruler will control the government, and the ministers will dominate the state affairs. The Jingzhou Divination says: When Saturn enters the Taiwei and moves along its proper path, it is auspicious; the term 'light path' refers to Saturn entering from the western gate and exiting from the eastern gate, or passing through the left and right gates without stopping; the term 'not following the path' refers to Saturn invading and lingering among the stars within the enclosure. The Shi school said: When Saturn exits from the eastern gate, it signifies that the prime minister receives a mandate, and the affairs initiated from the southeast involve bestowing favors and virtue; when Saturn exits from the western gate, it signifies that the generals receive a mandate, and the affairs initiated from the southwest involve punishment and military campaigns. The predicted time occurs in the spring and summer seasons.

《荊州占》曰：“填星入太微宮，皆為天子大驚；一曰有兵；又曰入天庭，不安。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星入天庭，色白潤澤，為期百八十日，有赦。”《荊州占》曰：“填星道西番，入留止南門者，皆為大臣有憂。”石氏曰：“填星入太微中華東西門，若左右掖門，而南出端門者，為有大臣叛。”郗萌曰：“填星入太微，有德令。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet of earth enters the Taimei Palace, it indicates the emperor will suffer great disturbance; another interpretation suggests there will be military affairs; it also says when the planet of earth enters the Tian廷 (Heavenly Court), the imperial court will not be at peace. The *Yellow Emperor's Divination* says: When the planet of earth enters the Tian廷, its light is white and moist, lasting for one hundred and eighty days, and there will be an imperial pardon issued. The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet of earth comes from the western border and enters, and remains at the southern gate, it indicates ministers will face troubles. The Shi school says: When the planet of earth enters the Taimei's Zhonghua East Gate, Zhonghua West Gate, or the left and right Yemeng Gates, and exits through the southern Duan Gate, it indicates ministers will rebel. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth enters Taimei, it indicates there will be imperial edicts of benevolent governance.

石氏曰：“填星入西門，出東門，皆為人君不安，欲求賢佐；入中華西門，出中華門間，為臣出令；入太陰西門，出太陰東門，皆為天下大亂；有喪，若大水。”《春秋緯合誠圖》曰：“填星入中華闕門者，為臣殺主之候。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth enters through the western gate and exits through the eastern gate, it indicates the ruler's mind is unsettled and he desires to seek capable ministers for assistance; if it enters through the western gate of Zhonghua and exits between the two Zhonghua gates, it signifies that orders will be issued by ministers rather than the sovereign. If it enters through the western gate of Taiyin and exits through the eastern gate of Taiyin, it foretells great chaos throughout the realm, with impending calamities or major floods. The "Chunqiu Wei · Hecheng Tu" states: When the planet of earth enters the Zhonghua gate, it is a premonition of a minister killing the sovereign.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星東行入太微廷，出東門，天下有兵，急；若守將、相丞、御史、大臣有死者；若入端門守廷，大禍至；入南門，出東門，國大旱；若入南門，南行出西門，國有大水；逆行入東門，出西門，大國破亡；若順入西蕃，而留不去，楚國凶殃。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of Earth moves eastward into the court of Taiwei, then exits from the eastern gate, it indicates that the country will have warfare and a critical situation; or it may indicate that a general defending the borders, a prime minister, an imperial censor, or a court minister will die. If it enters through the end gate and remains within the court, great calamity will occur. If it enters through the southern gate and exits through the eastern gate, there will be a great drought in the country. If it enters through the southern gate, moves southward, and exits through the western gate, the country will suffer a great flood. If it moves westward against the usual direction, entering through the eastern gate and exiting through the western gate, a great state will be ruined and destroyed. If it moves in the usual direction into the western frontier and remains there without departing, the region of Chu will face misfortune.

郗萌曰：“填星入西門，犯天庭，出端門，皆為大臣伐主；入西門，西折出右掖門，皆為大臣假主之威，而不從主命。”石氏曰：“填星逆行太微之中，及出門左右掖門者，有逆謀；天子有命將征伐之事；一曰大赦可以解其患也。”郗萌曰：“填星當左右執法，為受事；守太微門三日以下，為受制；三日以上，為兵、為賊、為亂、為飢。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet Saturn enters through the western gate, invades the celestial court, and then exits through the end gate, it indicates that ministers will rebel against the sovereign; if Saturn enters through the western gate and turns westward to exit through the right wing gate, it indicates that ministers will act under the sovereign's authority but will not obey the sovereign's orders. The Shi school said: When Saturn retrogrades within Taiwei and exits through the enclosure gate or the left and right wing gates, it indicates there is a plot of rebellion; the Son of Heaven will have the appointment of generals and the dispatch of troops for military campaigns; another interpretation suggests that a great amnesty can resolve this calamity. Xi Meng said: When Saturn is in the position of Left Judge and Right Judge, it indicates the handling of state affairs; if it stays in Taiwei gate for less than three days, it indicates receiving imperial orders; if it stays for more than three days, it indicates military action, bandits, disorder, and famine.

《荊州占》曰：“填星中犯左右執法，執法者誅，若有罪。”《荊州占》曰：“填星入太微，從右入七日以上，皆為人主憂。”巫咸曰：“填星逆行，入太微天庭中，為大臣有誅；若諸侯戮死；期二年。”石氏曰：“填星入太微廷，所中犯乘守者，皆為天子所誅，若有罪。”石氏曰：“填星守太微宮，必有破國、易世、改王。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet of Earth is directly opposite the Left and Right Judicial Stars, it indicates that officials in charge of law and punishment will be executed or punished. The *Jingzhou Divination* also says: When the planet of Earth enters the Taiwei constellation and stays for more than seven days from the right side, it foretells that the sovereign will have worries. Wu Xian says: When the planet of Earth moves retrograde and enters the Taiwei court, it indicates that a minister will be executed; or a feudal lord will be put to death; the event will occur within two years. The Shi school says: When the planet of Earth enters the Taiwei court, anyone whose star is directly opposite, overshadowed, or guarded by the planet of Earth will be executed by the Son of Heaven or punished. The Shi school also says: When the planet of Earth stays in the Taiwei palace, it certainly indicates the country will fall, the dynasty will change, and the ruler will be replaced.

郗萌曰：“填星逆行，入左掖門，皆為臣劫其主；又入東門，至黃帝座，出西門，皆為臣欲弒主，不成。”陳卓曰：“填星逆行執法四輔，若還繞守之，所守者有憂；若死亡，近期一年，遠期五年。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet Saturn moves retrograde and enters from the left gate, it indicates that ministers will seize the king; if it enters from the eastern gate, proceeds to the seat of the Yellow Emperor, and exits from the western gate, it signifies that ministers intend to kill the king, but their plan will not succeed. Chen Zhuo said: When Saturn moves retrograde to the positions of the officials and the four assistants, or circles around and stays among them, the person governed by the star it is guarding will suffer misfortune; in severe cases, it may even lead to death, with the outcome occurring within one year or, at the furthest, within five years.

石氏曰：“填星犯黃帝座，改政易王，天下亂，存亡半；期三年。”石氏曰：“填星入太微，干黃帝座，其女主執政，用威勢。”《荊州占》曰：“填星入黃帝座，其色白者，為有赦。”又占曰：“填星觸黃帝座星，賊死。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星守黃帝座，為人主憂。”

The Shi school said: When the planet Saturn invades the "Yellow Emperor's Seat," it indicates changes in government orders, the replacement of the king, chaos throughout the land, with half the people surviving and half perishing; the period of occurrence is three years. The Shi school also said: When Saturn enters the Taiwei constellation and conflicts with the Yellow Emperor's Seat, it indicates that a female ruler will control the government and abuse her power. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When Saturn enters the Yellow Emperor's Seat and its light appears white, it indicates the issuance of an amnesty decree. Another divination says: When Saturn touches the Yellow Emperor's Seat star, it indicates the death of rebels. The "Yellow Emperor Divination" says: When Saturn remains at the Yellow Emperor's Seat, it indicates the ruler will have worries. The Yellow Emperor's Seat is the central part of the Taiwei constellation, symbolizing the throne of the Son of Heaven, so when it is invaded, it directly relates to the safety of the sovereign.

《荊州占》曰：“填星逆行入太微天廷中者，為諸侯將有弒主者，至黃帝座而成；不至黃帝座而還，有謀不成；以其入日占國。”《洛書摘亡闢》曰：“填星逆行黃帝座，亡君之戒。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet of earth moves backward into the court of Taiwei, it indicates that among the feudal lords there will be someone who kills the king; if the planet continues moving until it reaches the seat of the Yellow Emperor, the act of rebellion will take place; if it turns back before reaching the seat of the Yellow Emperor, then the conspiracy will not succeed; as for which state it will affect, it should be determined by the territory corresponding to the day on which the planet enters the court. The *Luo Writing Excerpts on the Fall of a Ruler* says: When the planet of earth moves backward to the seat of the Yellow Emperor, this is a warning sign that the ruler will perish.

石氏曰：“填星犯守四帝座，臣謀主；去之一尺，事不成。又占曰：填星中犯乘守四帝座，闢憂。”甘氏曰：“填星中犯乘守四帝座，天下亡。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Saturn approaches and stays at the 'Four Imperial Seats,' it indicates that ministers may plot against the sovereign. If Saturn moves away by more than a foot, the plot will not succeed. Another divination says: When Saturn directly confronts, overshadows, and stays at the Four Imperial Seats, the sovereign will face worries. Gan De says: When Saturn directly confronts, overshadows, and stays at the Four Imperial Seats, the country will suffer the fate of a fallen state. The Four Imperial Seats are located around the Yellow Emperor's Seat, each governing one of the four directions' emperors. Therefore, this celestial phenomenon directly relates to the safety and security of the sovereign's authority.

甘氏曰：“填星犯守屏星，君臣失禮，謀上；一曰大臣有戮死者。”石氏曰：“填星中犯乘守屏星，為君臣失禮，而輔臣有誅者；若免罷去。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn approaches and stays at the 'screen star', it indicates that there is a loss of propriety between the sovereign and ministers, and the ministers plot against the sovereign. Another interpretation is that a high-ranking minister will be executed. The Shi school said: When Saturn directly confronts, overshadows, and stays at the screen star, it indicates that there is a loss of propriety between the sovereign and ministers, and a minister who assists in governance will be executed or dismissed. The screen star represents an obstacle that separates inside and outside, and once this barrier is lost, the distinction between sovereign and minister becomes confused.

甘氏曰：“填星犯守郎位，輔臣有謀，左右宿衛者為亂，王者宜備之。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn approaches and stays at the 'Lang position' stars, the minister assisting in government may have secret plots, and the guards and attendants around the king will soon rebel. The king should be prepared in advance. The Lang position is the official star representing the guards and attendants, arranged around the throne. If this star changes, calamity will arise close at hand.

巫咸曰：“填星犯守郎將者，命曰凌，凌則將有誅，若將憂；一曰大臣為亂，戒慎左右。”《荊州占》曰：“填星中犯乘守即將，必有不還之使。”

Wu Xian said: When the planet of earth invades and stays on the star of the deputy general, this situation is called "ling"; once it becomes ling, it indicates that the general will be executed or suffer misfortune; another interpretation is that ministers will rebel, and the king should be especially cautious and careful about those around him. The "Jingzhou Divination" states: When the planet of earth directly confronts, invades, and stays on this deputy general star, there will certainly be an envoy sent on a mission who will not return.

甘氏曰：“填星犯守常陳，守衛有謀；近起宮中，天子自出行，誅，期百八十日，遠一年。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn approaches and remains at the star 'Chang Chen', the secret conspiracies of the palace guards will arise. Chaos will originate within the palace, and the emperor will have to personally go out to patrol and eliminate the threat. This will occur within a period of one hundred and eighty days, or possibly up to one year. The seven stars of Chang Chen represent the image of the emperor's guards. Since this star is afflicted, the change will occur among the palace guards.
