郗萌曰：“熒惑入北斗魁，天下多獄，廷尉坐之。熒惑入守北斗，貴人有繫者。”甘氏曰：“熒惑守北斗，天下大亂，諸侯皆起兵，王者有憂。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守北斗，有移徙民，宮宅賤。”《玉曆》曰：“熒惑守衡星，有女喪，若貴女有殃；有兵兵罷，無兵兵起。”《雄圖三光占》曰：“熒惑入北斗魁中而守之十日，天下大亂，易其王，天子死，五都亡，期二年，遠三年。”

Wu Xian says: The Malefic of violence entering the Northern Dipper indicates great chaos throughout the land and large-scale military conflicts gathering in one country; if it quickly withdraws, the military conflicts will immediately disperse. The Jingzhou Divination says: The Malefic of violence entering Tian Shu indicates a change of state affairs in the country; another interpretation is that all the armies of the world will gather in one country. The Xiong Tu San Guang Divination says: The Malefic of violence entering the Northern Dipper indicates the emperor will have worries; if it confronts and opposes the Northern Dipper, it indicates the death of the emperor, great disorder in the harem, and this will occur within three years.

Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence confronts the crown prince star, it indicates the crown prince will be anxious and die; when it confronts the younger son star, it indicates the younger son will be anxious and die; another interpretation says that if it directly confronts the Northern Pole Star, the ruler will have great worries; another says there will be a great mourning; another says there will be signs of rebellion. The Jingzhou Divination says: When the Malefic of violence guards the Hook Chen, it indicates the ruler will have worries. The Yellow Emperor says: When the Malefic of violence confronts the Hook Chen (Hook Chen consists of six stars located in the Purple Micro Palace, representing the imperial harem and palace guards), it indicates great disorder in the harem, a military mutiny within the palace, and favored ministers plotting against the ruler, causing the sovereign to face troubles.

石氏曰：“火犯天一，倖臣有謀，有兵起，人主憂。”齊伯曰：“火守天一，臣弒其主。餘殃為水災。”

Shi Shen said: The Malefic of violence confronts Tian Yi star (Tian Yi star is located to the right outside the gate of the Emperor star palace, it is the deity of the heavenly emperor, governing warfare and knowing the fortune and misfortune of people), indicating a favored minister harboring schemes, military conflicts arising, and the sovereign being anxious and fearful. Qi Bo said: When the Malefic of violence guards Tian Yi star, it signifies a minister killing the sovereign, and the remaining calamity will be water disaster.

石氏曰：“火犯守太一，倖臣有謀，有兵起，人主憂。”

Shi Shen said: The Malefic of violence confronts and guards the Taiyi star. The Taiyi star is located south of the Tianyi star, and is also the divine spirit of the heavenly emperor, in charge of the sixteen spirits, knowing matters concerning wind, rain, water, drought, and military affairs. This indicates that a favored minister harbors schemes, and military actions will arise, causing the sovereign to feel anxious and fearful.

《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑犯天庫，兵車出庫，所指兵往也。”石氏曰：“熒惑入天庫，有兵；火守庫，兵起，亂十年。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入天庫，騎官兵起，期三年中，一曰天下有驚，若歲旱。”又占曰：“熒惑赤色，角三芒，三十日舍天庫，國有急，五諸侯悉發甲兵。”《玄冥》曰：“熒惑守庫樓，兵車大出，守之一月，兵亂十年乃罷。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑逆行守天庫，兵起，未罷；若順行，乃罷。以其遠近、東西南北，其日占之。”

The玄冥 (Darkness) says: If Mars guards the Repository, there will be a large-scale military deployment; if it remains for a month, the military disturbances will last for ten years before ceasing. The Sea Divination says: If Mars retrogrades and guards the Heavenly Repository, there will be military disturbances that cannot be stopped; if it changes to a forward movement, the military disturbances will cease; further, according to the distance from the Repository and the direction in which it is located (east, west, south, or north), combined with the day's stem, the situation can be predicted.

郗萌曰：“熒惑，天候也，主發兵，常舍於南門；其出，色赤白而大，東西南北非其常，謀國兵起，其入則兵入，其所行而留止，兵隨而攻之。”又占曰：“熒惑居處無常，入時不得，求之南門中。”石氏曰：“熒惑若守南門，兵車大起。”又占曰：“熒惑入守南門，天下戰其北也。”又占曰：“熒惑犯南門，邊夷兵起，若道路不通。”

It often stays near the Southern Gate, which is located south of the Kulu star cluster and is considered the outer gate of heaven. When Mars appears with a red and white color and a large, coarse appearance, and its position in the east, west, south, or north deviates from the norm, it indicates that there will be plots against the state and military actions. When Mars retreats, the military forces also retreat inward. Wherever Mars stops, the military will attack there. Another divination says: If Mars has no fixed position and cannot be found at the appointed time, one should look for it near the Southern Gate stars. Shi Shen said: If Mars stays at the Southern Gate, it indicates a large-scale military movement. Another divination says: If Mars enters and stays at the Southern Gate, it indicates warfare in the northern part of the country. Another divination says: If Mars approaches the Southern Gate, it indicates that the people of the border regions will rise up in rebellion or that roads will be blocked and impassable.

石氏曰：“熒惑守平星，兵起，且以亂亡。”又占曰：“熒惑犯平星，凶。”甘氏曰：“熒惑守平星，執政臣憂，若有罪誅者，期一年。”又占曰：“熒惑守平星，有獄出疑囚。”

石氏曰：“熒惑入騎官，若守之，兵大起，車騎用，將軍出，若騎士憂。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守騎官，不出二十日，赦天下。”甘氏曰：“熒惑守騎官，有兵馬多發，若多死。”

石氏曰：“熒惑入積卒，若守之，兵大起，士卒大行，若多死，期二年。”《玄冥占》曰：“熒惑犯守積卒，主失位，天下亂，兵大起，期百二十日。”石氏曰：“熒惑犯守積卒，主失位，天下凶。”

甘氏曰：“熒惑守龜星，天下大水；去之疾，則旱，萬物不成，人民飢。”石氏曰：“熒惑守龜星，兵起，兵在外，再守龜，兵罷。”又占曰：“熒惑守龜星，有白衣聚，以入日占何國。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑犯守龜星，天下有水旱之災；守陽則旱，守陰則水。”

Another divination text says: When Mars is in conjunction with the Turtle Star, it indicates a gathering of people wearing mourning clothes; according to the stem and branch of the day when it enters the mansion, one can determine which state it will affect. The "Sea Divination" says: When Mars confronts and joins the Turtle Star, it presages water and drought disasters throughout the land; if it is in the yang aspect of the Turtle Star, it will be drought; if it is in the yin aspect, it will be flood.

石氏曰：“熒惑犯守傳說，王者簡守廟，廢五祀，後宮凶；一曰有絕嗣君，期不出二年。”

Gan De said: When Mars confronts and stays at the yang side of the Fish Star, it indicates a great drought, with rivers drying up so much that fish can walk on the roads; if it stays at the yin side, it indicates a great flood, with fish and salt becoming very expensive.

《玉曆》曰：“熒惑守杵星，國有急兵，有賦米之事；若有軍糧之急。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑入杵星，若守之，天下有急發米之事，不出其年。”

The玄冥 Divination says: If Mars enters and stays at the star of the tortoise, the ruler will have to change the water channels or suffer a great drought, with rivers drying up so much that fish can walk on the roads.

Shi Shen said: When the planet Mars confronts and stays in the Nine Pits, it indicates calamity.

石氏曰：“熒惑守敗臼，民不安其室，憂失其釜甑；若流移，去其鄉。”又占曰：熒惑守敗臼，飢喪。”

Shi Shen said: The planet Mars stays at the broken mortar, which consists of four stars located south of the Emptiness mansion and the Rooftop mansion. The mortar is already broken, indicating a disruption of cooking and a lack of security in households. This portends that common people cannot reside in their own homes, and they will be distressed to the point of losing their cooking utensils. Alternatively, they may be forced to wander and leave their homeland. Another divination passage says: When Mars stays at the broken mortar, it signifies famine and loss of life.

《荊州占》曰：“熒惑入羽林之宮二十日，天子當之。”郗萌曰：“熒惑經過羽林中，天子為軍自守。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑舍羽林之宮，兵大起。”《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑守羽林，大赦。”石氏曰：“熒惑守羽林，馬有行，期三十日。”又占曰：“熒惑芒角赤色，守天軍三十日，大國有急，諸侯悉發兵甲；一曰興兵者亡。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet Mars enters the palace of the Feather Forest for twenty days (the Feather Forest consists of forty-five stars located south of the constellation Yingshi, symbolizing the emperor's personal military force, also known as the heavenly army), the emperor himself must bear this ominous omen. Xi Meng says: When Mars passes through the Feather Forest, it indicates that the emperor will need to rely on his military forces for self-defense. The *Jingzhou Divination* also says: When Mars resides in the palace of the Feather Forest, major military conflicts will arise. The *Yellow Emperor Divination* says: When Mars guards the Feather Forest, a great amnesty will occur. Shi Shen says: When Mars guards the Feather Forest, war horses will be mobilized, and this omen will come true within thirty days. Another divination passage says: When Mars has a bright angle and appears red in color, and stays in the heavenly army for thirty days, it signifies that a great state will face urgent military affairs, and all the feudal lords will don armor and mobilize their armies; another interpretation suggests that the side which initiates the attack will suffer defeat.

又占曰：“熒惑守羽林，兵起，期六十日；火經羽林，臣欲弒主。”（《宋書天文志》曰：晉孝武太元元年九月，熒惑犯哭泣星。入羽林，占曰：中軍兵起，三年六月，熒惑又守羽林。占曰：禁兵起，四年六月，兗州刺史謝安，謝玄擊氏賊，大破之，餘皆走，十四年十二月，熒惑入羽林，十五年，翟遼據司兗，眾軍屢討弗克，鮮卑又跨略並冀。安帝義熙四年十月戍子，熒惑入羽林，五年高祖討鮮卑，是後南北軍旅運轉不息。宋文帝元嘉十三年十二月戊子，熒惑入羽林，後三年，廢大將軍彭城王義康及其黨與犯，所收掩皆羽林兵出也。）

(The original book's marginal notes cite the "Celestial Officials Annals" from the "Book of Song": In the first year of Taoyuan of Emperor Xiaowu of Eastern Jin, in September, Mars approached the star of mourning, then entered Yulin, and the divination passage predicted that the central army would rise in rebellion; in June of the third year of Taoyuan, Mars again stayed in Yulin, and the divination passage indicated that the palace guards would rise in rebellion. In June of the fourth year of Taoyuan, the governor of Yanzhou, Xie Xuan, obeyed the command of Xie An to attack the enemy forces of the Di people, defeating them in a great defeat, and the remnants scattered. In December of the fourteenth year of Taoyuan, Mars entered Yulin; in the fifteenth year, Zhai Liao occupied the states of Sizhou and Yanzhou, and the imperial armies repeatedly launched campaigns but failed to achieve victory, while the Xianbei people invaded the states of Bingzhou and Jizhou across the border. In October of the fourth year of Yixi of Emperor An of the Southern Song, on the fifth day of the fifth month, Mars entered Yulin; in the fifth year, Liu Yu, the High Ancestor of the Southern Song, launched a campaign against the Xianbei people, and after that, military movements continued without ceasing on both northern and southern fronts. In December of the thirteenth year of Yuanjia of Emperor Wen of the Southern Song, on the fifth day of the fifth month, Mars entered Yulin; afterwards, within three years, the court dismissed the Grand General Prince Liu Yikang of Pengcheng and punished his associates, and the troops sent to capture them were all from the Yulin forces.)

The predicted time is ninety days. (The original book's note cites the Jingzhou Divination: In the second year of Han, Mars entered YuLin, its bright edge spread out in three directions and stayed for thirty days, indicating there would be rebellious troops within the country, and the Qin dynasty perished because of this.) The Hai Zhong Zhuan says: If Mars enters and stays in YuLin, there will be military affairs arising immediately; if it moves retrograde, changes color, or twists into the shape of 'gou si', there will be great warfare throughout the country, with roads and bridges blocked, and urgent matters will not be resolved within the same year. Xi Meng says: If Mars enters and stays in YuLin, there will be a traitorous minister controlling the imperial guards.

《元命苞》曰：“熒惑守羽林，若壘城，謀在司馬將軍為亂。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑入天軍，凶。”又占曰：“熒惑入天軍，兵敗不可用，國更殘也。”郗萌曰：“熒惑犯守天陣，為兵起，有破軍死將。”甘氏曰：“熒惑入壘壁陣，在司馬，內將軍為亂，宮中兵起。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入壘城，有兵起。”

The Spring and Autumn Original Mandate苞 says: When the planet Mars stays in the Yulin or in the city of Labei, it indicates that plots will emerge from the Minister of War and the general, who will rebel. The Jingzhou Divination says: When Mars enters the heavenly army, it signifies calamity. Another divination says: When Mars enters the heavenly army, it indicates the army will suffer defeat, become useless, and the country will become more ruined. Xi Meng says: When Mars confronts and stays in the heavenly formation, it indicates the outbreak of military affairs, with the destruction of armies and the death of generals. Gan De says: When Mars enters the Labei formation (the twelve stars of Labei are located north of Yulin, symbolizing military camps and fortifications), it indicates rebellion by the Minister of War and generals within the palace, with military disturbances occurring within the palace. Xi Meng says: When Mars enters the Labei city, it indicates the outbreak of military affairs.

石氏曰：“熒惑守北落師門，為兵大起；舍軍門，兵起。”《玄冥占》曰：“熒惑入守北落師門、兵大起，將軍出境，士卒大行。”石氏曰：“熒惑與北落師門相貫，牴觸光芒相及，有兵大戰；破軍殺將，伏尸流血，不可當也；期百八十日，若一年。”

Shi Shen said: The planet Mars (Feng Huo) staying at Beilu Shimen (a single star located to the south of Yu Lin, representing the northern gate of the military camp, serving as the outer gate of the capital city) indicates great military action; when it resides at the military gate star, it also signifies the outbreak of war. The Xuanming Zhuan said: When the planet Mars enters and stays at Beilu Shimen, it indicates great military action, generals going out to fight, and a large number of soldiers mobilizing. Shi Shen said: When the planet Mars and Beilu Shimen intersect with each other, clashing and shining together, it indicates a great battle; the army will be defeated, generals will be killed, with corpses scattered everywhere and blood flowing like a river, the situation being unstoppable; the duration is expected to be one hundred and eighty days or one year.

《海中占》曰：“熒惑守土司空，其國以土起兵，若有土功之事，天下旱。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守土司空，備大臣。”

The Sea of Divination says: When Mars is stationed at the Earth Official star, which is located south of the Legs mansion, it indicates that a country will have military conflict due to disputes over land, or there will be large-scale construction projects, and the whole country will suffer from a severe drought. Xi Meng says: When Mars is stationed at the Earth Official star, the ruler should be cautious to guard against the ministers.

《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑入天倉中，主財寶出，主憂，臣在內，天下有兵，而倉庫之戶開；主人勝客，客事不成，期二十日中而發。”石氏曰：“熒惑出入天倉，天下谷聚一邦。”郗萌曰：“熒惑近天倉，天下大旱，天下轉粟，期其年中；一曰期三年；一曰千倉敗，天下飢。”《春秋圖》曰：“熒惑經天倉，去而不守，其歲惡，糴大貴，倉大出。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet Mars enters the Heavenly Granary, which consists of six stars located south of the Bond Mansion and represents a granary for storing grain, it indicates that the state treasury's treasures will be dispersed, the ruler will have worries, ministers will be entrenched within the country, there will be military conflicts throughout the land, and the gates of the granary will be opened. At this time, the dominant side will overcome the opposing side, and the opposing side's plans will not succeed, and the event will occur within twenty days. Shi Shen says: When Mars enters and exits the Heavenly Granary, it indicates that grain from all over the world will gather in one state. Xi Meng says: When Mars approaches the Heavenly Granary, it indicates a great drought across the land, with grain being transported from place to place, and the event will occur within the same year; another view suggests it will occur within three years; another view suggests that many granaries will be ruined, leading to famine across the land. The Spring and Autumn Diagram says: When Mars passes through the Heavenly Granary and does not stop there, it indicates a poor harvest for the year, rising grain prices, and a large amount of stored grain being released from the granaries.

石氏曰：“熒惑守天倉三十日，有轉粟之事。”《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑守天倉，天下轉粟千里，糴貴。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑守天倉，天下有兵，若有出粟。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守天倉，已去復反，天大飢，人相食，不出五年。”《玄冥占》曰：“熒惑逆行守天倉，天下大飢，人相食，期二年，遠三年。”

Shi Shen said: If the planet Mars stays at the Heavenly Granary for thirty days, it indicates there will be matters concerning the transportation of grain. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If Mars stays at the Heavenly Granary, it indicates that the whole country will need to transport grain from a thousand miles away, and the price of grain will remain high. The Sea Divination says: If Mars stays at the Heavenly Granary, it indicates there will be military conflicts, or the government will have to open the granary and distribute stored grain. Xi Meng said: If Mars stays at the Heavenly Granary and then leaves but returns again, it indicates a great famine across the country, so severe that people will eat each other. This will occur within five years. The玄冥 Divination says: If Mars moves retrograde and stays at the Heavenly Granary, it indicates a great famine, with people eating each other. This will occur within two years, or up to three years at the furthest. All these divinations focus on the accumulation or depletion of grain in the granary, involving transportation, relief distribution, or complete exhaustion, with varying degrees of severity.

石氏曰：“熒惑入天囷，天下兵起，國倉儲積之物皆發出：一曰御物多有出者，庫藏空虛，期二年。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守天囷二十日，粟出佈於民，歲大飢。”（案《宋書天文志》曰：晉孝武太元二十年六月熒惑入天囷。隆安九年王恭舉兵，朝廷殺之。及王國寶王緒，是後連歲大旱，人民大飢也。）《玉曆》曰：“熒惑守天囷，兵起，王者財寶皆出用，庫藏中虛耗，人主不安，其國有憂，期百八十日，遠一年。”

Shi Shen said: When the planet Mars enters Tian Qin, which consists of thirteen stars located south of the Stomach Mansion, and Tian Qin is a circular granary, governing the storage of grain in the royal granary, it indicates that military actions will arise throughout the country, and all the stored supplies in the state granary will be released. Another interpretation suggests that many royal items will be expended, leading to the emptiness of the treasury, with the period lasting two years. Xi Meng said: When Mars remains in Tian Qin for twenty days, it indicates that the granary will be opened to distribute grain to the people, and that year will experience a great famine. (The original book's note cites the "Book of Song, Astronomical Records" which states: In June of the twentieth year of Emperor Xiaowu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty's Taoyuan era, Mars entered Tian Qin. During the Long'an period, Wang Gong raised an army, and the court executed him, along with Wang Guobao and Wang Xu; afterwards, there were consecutive years of severe drought and great famine among the people.) The "Jade Calendar" says: When Mars remains in Tian Qin, it indicates the rise of military actions, the complete expenditure of the ruler's treasures, the emptiness and exhaustion of the treasury, the ruler's anxiety and restlessness, and the country will face calamity, with the period lasting one hundred and eighty days, or even a year.

《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑守天廩，有兵起，天下粟聚於一國，若有運粟之事。”甘氏曰：“熒惑入守天廩，天下有兵，歲大飢，倉粟散出，不出其年。”石氏曰：“熒惑犯守天廩，天下亂粟散出。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet Mars stays at Tian Lin (the four stars of Tian Lin are located south of the Hairy Head mansion, representing granaries for storing millet and rice for worship), it indicates that military actions will arise, and the grain of the whole world will gather in one country, or there will be the transfer of grain. Gan De says: When Mars enters and stays at Tian Lin, it indicates that there will be military actions throughout the world, a great famine, and the grain stored in granaries will be distributed, all within the same year. Shi Shen says: When Mars confronts and stays at Tian Lin, it indicates great chaos throughout the world, and grain will be dispersed.

巫咸曰：“熒惑入天苑，天下以馬起兵；若守之，牛馬禽獸多死。”石氏曰：“熒惑入守天苑，牛馬羊禽獸多疾疫，若守之二十日，天下兵起，馬多死，其國憂。”

Wu Xian said: If the planet Mars enters the Heavenly苑 (the Heavenly苑 consists of sixteen stars located south of the Hairy Head mansion and the Net mansion, which are the enclosures where the Son of Heaven keeps livestock), it indicates that wars will break out throughout the realm due to horses; if Mars stays in the Heavenly苑, it signifies a large number of cattle, horses, and wild animals will die. Shi Shen said: If Mars enters and stays in the Heavenly苑, it indicates that cattle, horses, sheep, and various wild animals will be infected with epidemics; if it stays for twenty days, it signifies that wars will arise throughout the realm, with a large number of horses dying, and that country will suffer calamity.

石氏曰：“熒惑入參旗，邊縣兵起。”石氏曰：“熒惑守天弓，天下亂，兵大起，人民驚恐，其國憂，若三十日守之，必有國亡。”陳卓曰：“熒惑守參旗，下謀上。”郄萌曰：“熒惑守參旗，兵大起，弓弩用，士將出行；一曰弓矢貴。”

Shi Shen said: The planet Mars entering the Three Stars mansion (the Three Stars mansion consists of nine stars located west of the Three Stars mansion, also known as the Celestial Bow, which governs bows and arrows and border defenses) indicates military actions arising in border states and counties. Shi Shen said: When Mars stays at the Celestial Bow, it signifies great chaos throughout the realm, large-scale military campaigns, and people's fear; if it remains there for thirty days, a state will surely perish. Chen Zhuo said: When Mars stays at the Three Stars mansion, it indicates lower ranks plotting against higher ranks. Xi Meng said: When Mars stays at the Three Stars mansion, it signifies large-scale military campaigns, with bows and arrows being put into use, soldiers going to war; another interpretation is that the price of bows and arrows becomes very high.

《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑入玉井，為強國失地；其出之，強國得地。”巫咸曰：“熒惑入玉井，國有水憂，若以水為敗，水物不成，期不出年。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑守玉井，多大水，有溺死者。”《齊伯五星占》曰：“熒惑守玉井，天下大水，溝瀆溢流，殺人民，期百八十日。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet Mars enters the Jade Well, it indicates a strong country will lose its territory; when it leaves the Jade Well, it indicates a strong country will gain territory. Wu Xian says: When Mars enters the Jade Well, it signifies a water disaster within the country, or water causing calamity, with aquatic things unable to grow, and the predicted time will not occur in the same year. The Jiangzhong Divination says: When Mars stays at the Jade Well, it indicates frequent floods and people drowning. The Qi Bo Five Stars Divination says: When Mars stays at the Jade Well, it indicates great floods throughout the country, with canals and waterways overflowing and flooding, drowning the people, and the predicted time is one hundred and eighty days.

郗萌曰：“熒惑留舍屏星三日，民疾疫。”石氏曰：“熒惑守屏星二十日，臣謀主；若貴臣有誅；若戳死，期一年。”甘氏曰：“熒惑守天屏二十日，國移。”又占曰：“熒惑入守屏星，諸侯有謀，若大臣戮死者。”

Xi Meng said: The planet Mars remains in the mansion of the Screen Star for three days. This Screen Star consists of two stars located to the south of the Jade Well, belonging to the Three Stars mansion, and is named the same as the Screen Star within the Taiwei Enclosure but located in a different position. This indicates that there will be an epidemic among the common people. Shi Shen said: When Mars stays in the Screen Star for twenty days, it signifies that ministers plot against the sovereign; or that a prominent official is executed; or that someone is killed, and the event will occur within a year. Gan De said: When Mars remains in the celestial Screen Star for twenty days, it indicates that the capital city will be relocated. Another divination text says: When Mars enters and stays in the Screen Star, it signifies that the feudal lords have conspiracies in their hearts, or that a high-ranking official is killed.

《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑守天廁，國移，若易名。”石氏曰：“熒惑守廁中，有賊兵。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守天廁，糴貴。”又占曰：“熒惑守廁矢，矢圊之間有伏，謀反，貴人驚於圊廁。”《甄曜度》曰：“熒惑入守廁星，天下大飢，人相食，死者大半，期二年。”甘氏曰：“熒惑入守廁星，有謀臣在廁中，王者警備之。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet Mars stays in the celestial toilet (the four stars of the celestial toilet are located east of the screen star, governing the observation of diseases and the discernment of the abundance or scarcity of crops), it indicates the relocation of the capital or the change of the state's name. Shi Shen says: When Mars stays in the middle of the toilet star, it signifies the presence of bandits. Xi Meng says: When Mars stays in the celestial toilet, it indicates high grain prices. Another divination says: When Mars stays in the celestial toilet along with the star of the celestial arrow, it indicates that there are people hidden in the toilet area plotting rebellion, and the powerful person will be startled while using the toilet. The Zhen Yao Du says: When Mars enters and stays in the toilet star, it indicates a great famine across the land, people eating each other, with more than half of the people dying, and this will occur within two years. Gan De says: When Mars enters and stays in the toilet star, it indicates that there are ministers plotting rebellion hidden in the toilet, and the ruler should be on alert and prepared.

《海中占》曰：“熒惑守矢星，天下旱，五穀不成，人民大飢，多疾死，期不出年。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑守矢星，貴人有疾。”
