Wu Xian said: When the Malefic of violence enters the East Wall, the harvest will be poor and all things will not mature. The Sea Divination says: When the Malefic of violence guards the Camp Room and the East Wall, there will be a fire in the palace; another interpretation says it indicates drought and failure of crops; yet another says many soldiers and common people will die.

If the Malefic of violence guards the East Wall for thirty days, the king will have worries; if it guards for twenty days, there will be a great amnesty. The Malefic of violence guarding the East Wall indicates there will be construction projects involving earth and wood. If the Malefic of violence guards the East Wall and its light is warm and moist, it is a great blessing. If the Malefic of violence guards the East Wall for thirty days without descending, military conflicts will arise within three years.

The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the Malefic of violence moves retrograde and stays in the East Wall, the Queen will feel fear within her heart; another interpretation says that many people will fall ill. Qi Bo said: When the Malefic of violence moves retrograde and stays in the East Wall, forming the shape of "gou ji", there will be a large military force attacking the State of Wei, and that state will be unable to resist; if it does not descend within three months, the King of Wei will die, or else he will have to flee.

When the Malefic of violence is in the second month and guards Kui, there will be many thieves within a hundred days; it also says there will be many women who die from childbirth. When the Malefic of violence guards Kui, it presages matters concerning canals and waterways; another interpretation says there will be water disasters. The book "Omen of Jingzhou" said: When the Malefic of violence guards Kui, the ruler will have worries; another interpretation says the misfortune will fall upon the high-ranking officials. When the Malefic of violence guards Kui, military actions will arise, chariots and cavalry will be spread throughout the outskirts, the prominent people will be sick, some may even die, and the prices of beans and millet will be high; another interpretation says that the harvest will be abundant.

《西官候》曰：“熒惑守奎，二十日以上，大臣有謀；國有兵，若有死王，兵加於魯國之地，期一年。熒惑守奎，其國諸貴為孽，國有大賊，謀在近臣；近期三月，遠期九月。熒惑守奎，兵官當之，期百二十日。”又曰：“熒惑以二月守奎，多盜賊，來二千石，多調役之事。”石氏曰：“熒惑守奎，色正明、留二十日以上，下有兵。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑逆行，守奎，女子多暴死。”

石氏曰：“熒惑入婁中三月，魯主死；入旬，相死，不死出走。熒惑入婁而守之，天下有聚眾，兵大起，車騎用，必有死君、走相，天下不熟，飢非一國；若山林有大盜，路不通；期一年，遠二年。”甘氏曰：“熒惑入婁，國有兵，人民多死。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑入婁，天下有聚眾，晚期四十日，遠期二百四十日，兵大起，車騎用。”

《西官候》曰：“熒惑起芒角而入婁，國且有焚燒倉庫之災。”石氏曰：“熒惑逆行入婁，成勾巳，國有焚燒倉廩庫之災；若逆行至奎，大兵起，臣謀者，將軍為成，期不出年。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑留婁，獄多奸。”郗萌曰：“熒惑出入留舍婁中守之，色赤而光明，胡人為凶。”《齊伯五星占》曰：“熒惑出入留舍婁，其國必有名者死。”

The Qi Bei Five Stars Divination says: When the Malefic of violence enters, stays, and remains in the Bond mansion, the country will certainly lose a famous person.

郗萌曰：“熒惑守婁，有兵，北夷侵邊，道不通；又曰關梁不通，霸者爭立；又曰大赦天下；又曰北主死；又曰牛多死，牛大貴。熒惑以二月守婁百日，多山盜；一曰女多乳死。熒惑守婁之南，大赦。”

The Malefic of violence stays at Bond mansion for a hundred days in the second month, with many bandits in the mountains; another interpretation says that many women will die from childbirth. When the Malefic of violence stays at the southern side of Bond mansion, it indicates a great amnesty.

《荊州占》曰：“熒惑守婁，歲大飢，若收財物。”陳卓曰：“熒惑守婁，二十日以上，宮中大臣死，期八十日。”《玉曆》曰：“熒惑守奎、婁，有名人死，民多疾。”《百二十占》曰：“熒惑守婁，車騎發，有死軍；一日貴人當獄事。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑入若守婁，天子受賀，期三十日，遠八月。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入守婁，其國坐之，一曰守三十日，其君憂。”

郗萌曰：“熒惑犯胃，為天下谷無實，以食為憂。熒惑犯胃，為國有暴兵伐中國者。”石氏曰：“熒惑入胃，主死；入三旬，王后死。”甘氏後：“熒惑入胃，二十日，天下有兵亂，倉粟出。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入天府，法令更。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑入胃，國有匿謀，其事不行。熒惑以三月入胃，進退犯凌百日以上，天下倉廩不實，國有大兵，流血千里。”

The Shi school said: When the Malefic of violence enters the Stomach mansion, the monarch will die; if it remains for thirty days, the queen consort will die. The Gan school said (the original text reads 'Gan school later,' with 'later' being a mistake for 'said'): When the Malefic of violence enters the Stomach mansion for twenty days, there will be military disturbances, and grain stored in granaries will be distributed. Xi Meng said: When the Malefic of violence enters the Treasury star and command star, there will be changes in laws and decrees. The Stomach mansion belongs to the Western metal, while the Malefic of violence belongs to the Southern fire, which is a case of fire overcoming metal; if the ruler can use benevolence and virtue to guide the principles of punishment and righteousness, there will be no calamity in the world. When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Stomach mansion, the granaries of the whole country will suffer fire. The Gan school says: When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Stomach mansion, there will be calamity from water. The book "Sea of the Middle" says: When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Stomach mansion for thirty days, the ruler will have worries. Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Stomach mansion, the ministers will not cherish the people (the original text lacks the character 'people' after 'hundred'); another view is that the prisons will be completely emptied. The book "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Stomach mansion, the price of copper will rise.

《西官候》曰：“熒惑守胃，若其中星眾者，則粟聚；星少，粟散。”石氏曰：“熒惑入胃而守之，三十日不下，趙地大急，人民半死，大兵起，客軍敗，主人勝，期不出一年。”巫咸曰：“熒惑入，若守胃，東出、民擾。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入，若守胃，牛疾。熒惑入，或守胃，若天倉，四十日旱。”陳卓曰：“熒惑入犯守胃，貴人有死者；若貴人子繫獄。”《聖洽符》曰：“熒惑逆行守胃，天下有急兵，人民飢，倉廩用，有賦斂之憂，若有火災。”

This prediction will come true within a year. Wu Xian says: When the Malefic of violence enters or guards the Stomach mansion, and it appears from the east, the people become restless. Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence enters or guards the Stomach mansion, cattle suffer from illness. When the Malefic of violence enters or guards the Stomach mansion along with the Heavenly Granary stars, there will be drought within forty days. Chen Zhuo says: When the Malefic of violence enters, invades, or guards the Stomach mansion, among the prominent people, some will die; or the sons of the prominent people will be imprisoned. The Sacred Concordance Symbol says: When the Malefic of violence retrogrades and guards the Stomach mansion, there will be urgent military affairs across the land, people will suffer from famine, the grain stored in granaries will be used up, there will be worries of excessive taxation, or there will be fires.

巫咸曰：“熒惑犯昴，若入之，中國有邊警；匈奴大出，四夷兵起，國有憂。”（案《晉書天文志》曰：晉成帝咸和六年十一月，熒惑守胃、昴，八年七月，石勒死，石虎自立，多所殘滅，是時雖勒、虎僭號，而其強帝占昴，不關太微，紫微宮。）

Wu Xian said: If the Malefic of violence invades or enters the mansion of Hairy Head, there will be alarms at the borders of the Central Plains; the Xiongnu will launch a major campaign, and the surrounding barbarian tribes will raise armies, causing troubles within the country. The seven stars of Hairy Head are also called Mao Tou, which is the star associated with the Hu people, governing punishments and border troops, and corresponds to the region of Zhao. Therefore, when Hairy Head is affected, it often indicates military conflicts with the Hu people and legal matters. (Original note: According to the Records of the Jin Dynasty's Astronomical Annals, in November of the sixth year of Xian He during the reign of Emperor Cheng of Jin, the Malefic of violence remained in the mansion of Stomach and Hairy Head; by July of the eighth year of Xian He, Shi Le died and Shi Hu proclaimed himself emperor, committing many killings and destruction. At that time, although Shi Le and Shi Hu claimed the imperial title, their power was only reflected in the divination about Hairy Head, not related to the Taiwei Enclosure or the Purple Micro Palace.)

《文曜鉤》曰：“充法律，熒惑入昴，天子有急令。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入昴，天下大安，無兵，有兵亦罷；四月、五月大赦，近期十五日，遠期三十日，赦；又曰不可為害；一日貴人多戮死。”巫咸曰：“熒惑入昴、畢中，一入一出，即有大兵，可立而待。”郗萌曰：“熒惑逆行入昴，成勾巳，天下大赦，期八十日。”

Wu Xian says: When the Malefic of violence enters the mansions ofHairy Head mansion andNet mansion, entering one and leaving the other, there will immediately be great military action, and one can expect it while standing. Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence retrogrades into the mansion ofHairy Head mansion and forms the shape of 'hook己', the whole world will have a great pardon, which will occur within eighty days.

Although the harvest is considered abundant, the people still suffer from hunger. The Sea Divination says: When the Malefic of violence enters the Hairy Head mansion and stays for more than twenty days, cattle and horses often fall ill. Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence stays in the Hairy Head mansion, officials in charge of criminal justice have many who commit crimes and violate laws. The Gan school says: When the Malefic of violence stops in the Hairy Head mansion, there will be many great bandits roaming the land. Xi Meng also says: When the Malefic of violence stops in the Hairy Head mansion, the country will have heavy taxation and levies.

巫咸曰：“熒惑出入留昴，赤色而光，因犯以行，邊地多警，不出三月，軍起，在其西北八百里。”《齊伯占》曰：“熒惑出入留舍犯昴，多有立屋室，且有兵。”《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑以春三月守昴，夏旱；夏守，秋旱；秋守，冬旱；冬守、春旱。熒惑守天獄，赦。”

Wu Xian said: The Malefic of violence enters and exits the Hairy Head mansion, stays there, and moves forward while invading, with a red and luminous appearance. There will be many alarms in the region, and within three months, there will be military movements at a place eight hundred li to the Northwest of the Hairy Head mansion's territory. The "Zhi Bo Zhan" said: When the Malefic of violence enters, stays, stops, and invades the Hairy Head mansion, there will be much construction of houses, and there will be military affairs. The "Huangdi Zhan" said: When the Malefic of violence stays at the Hairy Head mansion during the first three months of spring, there will be drought in summer; if it stays during summer, there will be drought in autumn; if it stays during autumn, there will be drought in winter; if it stays during winter, there will be drought in spring. The Malefic of violence staying at the heavenly prison star (the Hairy Head mansion is the heavenly prison because it governs criminal justice), indicates the issuance of pardons.

《河圖》曰：“君苛政擾，民苦其誅，愁氣布，則熒惑守昴，六月大怪。”《孝經章句》曰：“熒惑守昴，天下多獄，其政煩，雨澤不時，歲為中。”巫咸曰：“火犯守昴，四夷兵起。”甘氏曰：“熒惑守昴，無罪者誅。”

The Yellow River Chart says: When a ruler issues harsh and burdensome decrees that trouble the people, and the common folk suffer from excessive demands and are distressed, a gloomy atmosphere spreads, then the Malefic of violence will stay at the Hairy Head mansion, and a great strange phenomenon will appear in June. The Chapter of the Book of Filial Piety says: When the Malefic of violence stays at the Hairy Head mansion, the country will have many cases and lawsuits, the government will issue complicated orders, the rain will be out of season, and the harvest will be of medium quality. Wu Xian says: When the Malefic of violence invades and stays at the Hairy Head mansion, the four directions of the barbarians will raise armies. The Gan school says: When the Malefic of violence stays at the Hairy Head mansion, the innocent will be wrongly executed.

According to the notes in the original text: The "Shi Hu Lie Zhuan" records that in the winter of the tenth year of Jian Wu, the planet Mars remained stationed at the mansion of Hairy Head for more than fifty days without moving. The Grand Astronomer Zhao Lan submitted a report stating that the mansion of Hairy Head is the celestial region corresponding to the State of Zhao, and the planet Mars lingering within its own celestial region indicates that the king should be most wary of this omen. Therefore, he should have a prominent minister of the royal court who bears the surname Wang take on this calamity. Shi Hu then used some other charge to execute Zhong Shu Wang Jun, intending to eliminate this misfortune. At that time, people debated the old story of Song Jing Gong who spoke three times of a benevolent ruler, and as a result, the planet Mars retreated. They used this to advise against such actions. One should know that the length of life is determined by fate, and life is not something that can be forcibly prolonged. Relying on killing people to seek blessings is surely absurd.

巫咸曰：“熒惑守昴，天下多火災，萬物不成，人民疾，多死。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑守昴，邊境不寧。熒惑守昴，憂在大人。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守昴，大人為亂，天下謀主，大將出反，國政不安；一曰多獄事，大將有囚者；又曰地裂山崩；又曰守一二日，相死；火以夏三月守昂，至秋糴貴。熒惑守昴，男子有急；一曰女子有急。熒惑守昴，當有津河發事。熒惑以二月守昴百日，其國有流民。”

The book "Sea Divination" says: The Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull, and the borders will not be at peace. It also says: The Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull, and calamity falls upon those in high positions. Xi Meng said: The Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull, those in high positions rebel, the people throughout the land plot against the ruler, great generals lead troops to rebel, the state affairs cannot be stable; another view says there will be many legal cases, and among the great generals some will be imprisoned; another view says there will be earth cracks and mountains collapsing; another view says that after waiting one or two days, the chancellor will die; when the Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull in the third month of summer, by autumn the grain price will rise sharply. The Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull, men will face urgent difficulties; another view says women will face urgent difficulties. The Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull, there will be incidents related to river crossings and waterways. When the Malefic of violence guards the constellation of the Bull for a hundred days in the second month, that country will have a large number of wandering people.

《荊州占》曰：“熒惑守昴東，齊越負兵；守其南，荊宋負兵；守其西，秦鄭負兵；守其北，燕趙負兵。熒惑守昴星，色大而黃，馬牛貴。”《西官候》曰：“熒惑守昴，兔多死，春三月旱，牛馬皆死。熒惑守昴，大將有外出者，若憂，旱；野有流血，大將死，士卒病。”

The *Xiguan Divination* states: When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Hairy Head mansion, there will be a large number of rabbit deaths, drought in the spring months, and the death of cattle and horses. When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Hairy Head mansion, there will be a general who is away on campaign, or there will be worries and drought; blood will flow throughout the fields, a general will die in battle, and soldiers will fall ill.

《百二十占》曰：“熒惑守昴，且有急令，諸侯謀，道不通，陽為中國，陰為四夷，若陰圖有憂。”石氏曰：“熒惑若以三月守昴，皆百二十日，其國有白衣之聚。”巫咸曰：“熒惑守昴，以去後反守之，有臣為天子破匈奴者，期三年。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑若守昴北，主突厥王死。”（《宋書天文志》曰：晉成帝咸和八年七月，火入昴，是月石勒死。）

Wu Xian says: If the Malefic of violence guards the Hairy Head mansion, first leaving and then returning to guard it, there will be a minister who will break the Xiongnu for the Son of Heaven, and the fulfillment of this omen will be in three years. The "Jingzhou Divination" states: If the Malefic of violence stays at the north of the Hairy Head mansion, the king of the Turkic people will die. The original book's marginal note cites the "Song Shu · Astronomical Records" which says: In the seventh month of the eighth year of Emperor Cheng of Jin's Xianhe era, the Malefic of violence entered the Hairy Head mansion, and in that same month, Shi Le of the Later Zhao died.

《春秋圖》曰：“熒惑經昴畢之間，而守之三十日不出，即馬踴其足，群凶相續，婦兒哀哭，無所止屬，民食不足，人相食。”《西官候》曰：“熒惑犯守昴中，民疾病；一日赦獄，訟疑出囚。”郗萌曰：“熒惑中犯乘守昴，兵北征匈奴；又曰為天下有禍；一曰逆臣為亂。”

The Western Officials' Observation says: When the Malefic of violence invades and stays in the Hairy Head mansion, the people will suffer many diseases; another account says that prisoners in jail should be pardoned and those with doubtful cases should be released. Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence approaches the Hairy Head mansion directly, surpasses it, and stays there, the army will be about to march north to attack the Huns; another account says that there will be calamity throughout the land; yet another says that a rebellious minister will rise up and cause disorder.

《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑犯畢右角，大戰；犯畢左角，小戰。熒惑犯畢出其北，為陰國有憂；出其南，陽國有憂。”《海中占》曰：“熒惑犯畢，國有畋獵之事。”《黃帝占》曰：“熒惑入畢中，國君有衛守。”《文曜鉤》曰：“熒惑入畢而出之，有赦令；一曰有德令，爵祿之事，期一百八十日。”

Bi Sux is one of the seven white tiger mansions in the western direction, corresponding to the region of Zhao in Ji Zhou, and oversees military affairs at the borders and the emperor's hunting activities. The "Yellow Emperor's Divination" states: if the planet Mars (Feng Huo) invades the right angle of Bi Sux, there will be a major battle; if it invades the left angle, there will be a smaller conflict. If Mars enters Bi Sux from its northern side, there will be troubles in the Yin region; if it enters from the southern side, there will be troubles in the Yang region. The "Sea Divination" says: if Mars invades Bi Sux, the country will have hunting activities. The "Yellow Emperor's Divination" says: if Mars enters the middle of Bi Sux, the monarch will add guards around him. The "Wenyao Gou" says: if Mars enters Bi Sux and then exits from the middle, an amnesty will be issued; another interpretation says that edicts of benevolence will be issued, and matters concerning granting titles and salaries will be handled, with the fulfillment of the prophecy taking one hundred and eighty days.

巫咸曰：“熒惑入畢，將相憂；一曰國相亂。熒惑入畢中，各伺其出日而數之，二日期二十日，為兵發；伺如入處之率，一日期十日，軍罷。”郗萌曰：“熒惑入畢中，有女主喪。熒惑入畢中，有大赦令，期十五日，若三十日將若相憂，若其國有白衣之聚，期不出一年。熒惑入畢，為憂兵，其國易主。”《玉曆》曰：“熒惑入畢，將相有咎。”

Wu Xian said: The Malefic of violence entering the Net mansion indicates that generals and ministers will have troubles; another view is that the country's affairs of assisting in government will be disordered. When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion, one should wait for the day it exits to calculate the timing: if it stays for two days, the expected time is twenty days, when military actions will be taken; if it stays for one day, the expected time is ten days, when the army will disband. Xi Meng said: When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion, there will be mourning for a female ruler. When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion, there will be a proclamation of general amnesty, expected in fifteen days; if it is thirty days, then generals or ministers will have troubles, or the country corresponding to that region will have mourning gatherings, but the prediction will not be verified within a year. The Malefic of violence entering the Net mansion indicates military worries, and the country will change its ruler. The Jade Calendar says: When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion, generals and ministers will suffer calamities.

郗萌曰：“熒惑出畢中央，主也；出旁，臣也；其行徐，憂；其行疾，無故。”石氏曰：“熒惑出畢陽、則旱；出陰，則水；為政令不行。”《五行傳》曰：“熒惑行畢至昴，為死喪。”（案漢文帝七年，熒惑東行，行畢陽，還畢東北、西而逆行至昴南，而東行。後四年，趙王與七國謀反，北連匈奴，誅死之應。）

Xi Meng said: The Malefic of violence emerges from the center of the Net mansion, indicating calamity upon the sovereign; if it emerges from the side of the Net mansion, it indicates calamity upon the ministers; if it moves slowly, there will be worries and troubles; if it moves swiftly, there will be no incidents. The Shi school said: If the Malefic of violence exits from the southern yang path of the Net mansion, there will be drought; if it exits from the northern yin path of the Net mansion, there will be floods, and government orders will be difficult to implement. The "Transmission of the Five Phases" said: When the Malefic of violence moves from the Net mansion to the Hairy Head mansion, it indicates death and mourning. The original text's marginal note says: In the seventh year of Emperor Wen of Han, the Malefic of violence moved eastward, passing through the southern side of the Net mansion, then returned to the northeast of the Net mansion, and then moved westwardretrograde to the southern side of the Hairy Head mansion, and then turned eastward again. Four years later, the Prince of Zhao conspired with the seven states of Wu and Chu to rebel, and connected with the Xiongnu in the north, and was eventually executed and killed, which was the verification of this celestial phenomenon.

When the Malefic of violence stays between the Net mansion and the Hairy Head mansion, the roads throughout the world will be blocked, and the passes, bridges, and roads will be unpassable. When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion and stays for more than twenty days, military actions will arise, and the fulfillment period is forty days or three months. The Western Officials' Observation says: When the Malefic of violence stays in the Net mansion, the ministers will hunt illegally. The Gan school says: When the Malefic of violence stops in the Net mansion, the country corresponding to that region will have many wrongful punishments.

郗萌曰：“熒惑舍畢口六十日，貴人誅死；一日貴臣有夷族者；一曰貴臣有餓死者。熒惑舍畢之口，其國滅無後。熒惑舍畢，輔太子，奉蕃國。熒惑入舍畢，邊有兵。熒惑出入舍留畢左右，明年小旱；又曰明年天下有失地之君。”齊伯曰：“熒惑出留舍畢中，軍起三年；若居其左右，兵起其野，禾豆不入，歲小旱，必有失土之君。”

Xi Meng said: The Malefic of violence stops in the mouth of the Net mansion for sixty days, and the nobleman is executed and dies; another interpretation says that a prominent minister will suffer a massacre; yet another says that a prominent minister will die of starvation. When the Malefic of violence stops in the mouth of the Net mansion, the state will perish without descendants. When the Malefic of violence stops in the Net mansion, it indicates the establishment of a regent and the service of vassal states. When the Malefic of violence enters and stops in the Net mansion, there will be military affairs on the borders. When the Malefic of violence enters, stays, or lingers near the Net mansion, there will be a minor drought the following year; another interpretation says that the following year will see a ruler losing his territory. Qi Bo said: When the Malefic of violence enters, lingers, or stays within the Net mansion, military affairs will continue for three years; if it stays near the Net mansion, military affairs will arise in the border region of that area, crops and beans will not be stored in granaries, there will be slight drought that year, and certainly a ruler will lose his territory.

《春秋緯》曰：“熒惑守畢口，即馬馳人走，天下有急兵，國有敗傷，人民流亡。”《文曜鉤》曰：“畋獵不時，熒惑逆守畢。”《甄曜度》曰：“熒惑守畢，將相有憂白衣之會。”（郗萌曰：“期在歲中。”案《宋書天文志》曰：熒惑守畢，占曰：萬民飢，後大官多喪，公主薨亡、天子舉哀，相繼歲大旱，民飢。）

The Literary Hook of the Celestial Stars says: If the ruler hunts out of season, the Malefic of violence will retrograde and station itself at the Net mansion. The Measure of Celestial Radiance says: When the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Net mansion, generals and chancellors will have worries, and there will be mourning for the dead. A note from Xi Meng in the original text says: The fulfillment of this omen will occur within the same year. Furthermore, according to the Astronomical Records of the Song Dynasty, when the Malefic of violence is stationed at the Net mansion, the omen indicates widespread famine among the people. Later, many high officials will die, a princess will pass away, and the emperor will mourn for her. This is followed by several years of severe drought, causing the people to suffer from hunger.

石氏曰：“熒惑守畢，天子虐，國多枉刑。”甘氏曰：“熒惑守畢，邊兵大驚，侵凌中國，倉穀出，又曰敵兵起。”郗萌曰：“熒惑守畢，不出二十日，若三十日大赦；一曰成勾已，赦；一曰環繞之，赦。熒惑守畢，有亡國；又曰天下多盜；一曰大帥將兵，期二十日，邑驅掠。熒惑守畢，太歲子午卯酉有兵。熒惑守畢，三十日，其君憂；若以四月守畢踵，大人憂之。”

The Shi school says: When the Malefic of violence occupies the Net mansion, the sovereign will carry out cruel and tyrannical actions, and there will be many wrongful punishments within the country. The Gan school says: When the Malefic of violence occupies the Net mansion, the border garrisons will be greatly disturbed, and foreign enemies will invade the Central Plains, requiring the opening of granaries to distribute grain; another interpretation is that the enemy army will raise troops. Xi Meng says: When the Malefic of violence occupies the Net mansion, within twenty days or thirty days, there will be a great amnesty; another interpretation is that if the Malefic of violence forms a curved shape, then there will be an amnesty; yet another interpretation is that if it circles around once, then there will be an amnesty. When the Malefic of violence occupies the Net mansion, there will be events leading to the downfall of the country; another interpretation is that there will be many bandits throughout the land; yet another interpretation is that a general will lead troops on a campaign, and within twenty days, cities will be attacked and plundered. When the Malefic of violence occupies the Net mansion, there will be military affairs in the years when the sovereign's star reaches the Zi, Wu, Mao, or You signs. When the Malefic of violence occupies the Net mansion for thirty days, the ruler of the country will have worries; if it occupies the handle of the Net mansion in the fourth month, the Nobleman will be anxious.

石氏曰：“熒惑守畢，有大兵，大師為亂。”郗萌曰：“熒惑以四月守畢百日，匈奴有降王；三十日，男子有齎爵命，若有赦令。熒惑入畢，已去復還守之，諸侯女子貴臣有誅者，期不出三年。”

The Shi school said: When the Malefic of violence stays in the Net mansion, there will be a great war, and the general who commands the troops will rebel. Xi Meng said: When the Malefic of violence stays in the Net mansion for a hundred days in the fourth month, the Xiongnu will have a king who surrenders; if it stays for thirty days, there will be men who are granted titles and appointments, or an imperial edict of pardon will be issued. When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion, leaves, and then returns to stay there, among the princes, women, and prominent ministers, some will be executed. This prediction will be fulfilled within no more than three years.

《荊州占》曰：“熒惑守畢，有走君。熒惑守畢踵，人民駭走，去家千里，兒婦啼哭，無所觸抵；留一月，大兵連薄，留二月，二年戰；留三月，三年戰；三月以上，易政。熒惑入畢，去復還守之，有吏臣為天子破匈奴者，期三年。熒惑逆守畢，兵大起，馬頓蹄，牛運其角，婦兒碌碌、無所止屬；萬民去其處，飢於菽粟，人相食，若其國下不安。其留二十日以上，貴人當有掠者，期七十日，越地凶。”

The book Zhongjiao Zhan says: When the Malefic of violence stays in the Net mansion, there will be a fleeing king. If the Malefic of violence is stationed at the handle of the Net mansion, the common people will be terrified and flee, leaving their homes thousands of miles away, with women and children crying out and having nowhere to take refuge. If the Malefic of violence remains for a month, the great army will approach continuously; if it remains for two months, there will be warfare for two years; if it remains for three months, there will be warfare for three years; if it remains more than three months, there will be a change of government. When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion and then leaves and returns to guard it, there will be officials who will assist the Son of Heaven in defeating the Hu people, which will occur within three years. If the Malefic of violence retrogrades and stays in the Net mansion, there will be great military conflicts, horses will be exhausted, ox horns will be low, women and children will be in panic and have nowhere to take refuge; the people will abandon their homeland, lacking beans and grain, leading to cannibalism, and the whole country will be in turmoil. If the Malefic of violence stays for more than twenty days, among the powerful there will be those captured, which will occur within seventy days, and in distant regions there will be calamity.

《河圖》曰：“熒惑入畢，留守之六十日不下，有女主之喪，大臣諸侯相謀，邊兵起，若有戰，期一年。”陳卓曰：“熒惑犯附耳，為兵起，若將相有喪憂，不即免退。”

The Yellow River Chart says: When the Malefic of violence enters the Net mansion, if it stays and guards the post for sixty days without retreating, there will be mourning for a female ruler, ministers and princes will plot against each other, armies will be raised at the borders, or wars will break out, and the fulfillment of this omen will be within a year. Chen Zhuo says: When the Malefic of violence invades the star near the Net mansion called Fu'er, it indicates the rise of military affairs, or that generals and chancellors will suffer calamity and worry, even if they do not die, they will be dismissed from office and lose their positions.
