The four stars of Kangle are located north of the Jiao mansion, and they represent the inner court of the Son of Heaven, also called the Celestial Court, and they also oversee epidemics and rituals and laws. The Shi School's Star Classic says: If a star appears between the two Jiao stars, moves in and then flies into the Kangle mansion, with a red color, it indicates armies passing through; with a white color, it indicates travelers passing through; with a black color, it indicates the passing of mourning. The Sea in the Middle Divination says: If guest stars repeatedly fly into the Kangle mansion, an epidemic will spread throughout the country; if they fly out from the Kangle mansion, the epidemic will cease. The Xia School says: If a guest star flies into the Kangle mansion, the people will flee. Xi Meng says: If a guest star stays in the Celestial Court mansion of Kangle for ten days, great chaos will occur throughout the country. It also says that if a guest star flies into the Kangle mansion, there will be a small drought, which will be verified within thirty days; it also says that it indicates drought; it also says that there will be a small flood, which will damage all kinds of grain; it also says that the five grains will not be mature, and this will occur in the following year. The original book's marginal note says: Another book says that the five grains will be abundant, and people will know propriety and humility. It also says: If a guest star flies into the Kangle mansion, there will be warfare, soldiers will be mobilized, and this will be verified within nine years; it also says that there will be great chaos.

If the star is white, it should be in autumn; if red, in summer; if yellow, it will be verified within sixty days; if black, within one hundred and twenty days. It also says: If a star shoots out from the Root mansion and flies into the Neck mansion and then disperses, the ruler will be ill, with the illness spreading upward from the waist and abdomen. The book "Dongguan Divination" says: A red star flying into the Neck mansion indicates matters concerning ancestral temples and worship. If the star is black, there will be mourning in the temple; if green, there will be bloodshed; if white, there will be military affairs and the death of a female ruler. The book "One Hundred and Twenty Divination" says: If other stars fly into the Neck mansion, envoys will come to receive missions in the ancestral temple. If the star is red, the matter discussed will be military affairs; if yellow, it will be about land; if white, it will be about righteousness; if green, it will be about worries; if black, it will be about the worries of envoys.

石氏曰：“有星出亢，有出者使，以色占；赤，言兵；黃，言土，白，言義；青，使者憂；黑，使者凶；一曰：多兵。”郗萌曰：“有星暴出亢，愛臣以口舌事自殺，期一月，若一年。”又：“黃星白星出廟以北，中人有受賜者。”又：“黑星出廟北，而南入廟，女主有客事者；有廟之事。”又：“客星出入亢，五穀不登，為後年。”石氏曰：“有星經兩角間入亢，諸侯客有來者，廟將有事，有口令。”《海中占》曰：“大赤星從角就亢，人主遇賊。”郗萌曰：“客星與亢合，相為亂，國易政。”《黃帝》曰：“赤星集亢氐間，廊廟間有陳兵。”

According to the color of the star, the meaning is interpreted as follows: if the color is red, it indicates military affairs; if yellow, it indicates land matters; if white, it indicates matters of righteousness; if green, the messenger will have worries; if black, the messenger will meet misfortune; another interpretation says it indicates many military conflicts. Xi Meng says: If a star suddenly shoots out from the Neck mansion, a favored minister will be ruined by words and commit suicide, and this will be fulfilled within a month or a year. It also says: If a yellow star or a white star appears north of the ancestral temple star, people in the palace will receive rewards. It also says: If a black star shoots out from north of the temple star and flies south into the temple star, the female ruler will have affairs of receiving guests or matters concerning the ancestral temple. It also says: If a guest star comes and goes between the Neck mansion, the five grains will not be ripe, and this will occur in the following year. The Shi school's Star Classic says: If a star flies across between the two Horn mansions and enters the Neck mansion, the princes' envoys will come, the ancestral temple will have sacrifices, and there will be verbal imperial orders. The Sea in the Middle Divination says: If a large red star moves from the Horn mansion towards the Neck mansion, the sovereign will suffer from bandits. Xi Meng says: If a guest star combines with the Neck mansion, they will disturb each other, and the country will change its policies. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If red stars gather between the Neck mansion and the Root mansion, weapons will be displayed in the hall of the state.

Xi Meng says: If a guest star stays and guards the Neck mansion, although the roads of the country are open, among the ministers there will be those plotting against the sovereign, the army will suffer defeat and fail to achieve success, locusts will cause disaster, grain prices will rise sharply, silk prices will also rise sharply, and there will be abnormal edicts; it also says that if a guest star guards the Neck mansion, the crops in low-lying fields will be damaged. The Eastern Officials' Guardian text says: If a guest star stays and guards the Neck mansion, the five grains will be continuously poor harvests, and grain prices will rise sharply. The Jingzhou divination text says: If a guest star stays and guards the Neck mansion, and its color is red, it indicates drought; if its color is green and yellow, the common people will leave their homeland; if its color is yellow, there will be no other calamities; if its color is black, the common people will migrate, and the nobleman will have worries; if the star's tip changes color, there will be earthquakes shaking the palaces. The Sea of Stars divination text says: If a guest star invades and stays at the Neck mansion, the country will have many strange and ominous signs.

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If a guest star enters theRoot mansion, and it is white in color, there will be rewards for minor officials; if it is yellow, someone will be promoted; if it is dark green, it signifies either death or misfortune. It also says: If a guest star enters theRoot mansion, there will be solar eclipses, earthquakes, and a sharp rise in grain prices, with rice costing 150 coins per stone, and abnormal imperial decrees. The original text's note says: Some say the price reaches 1500 coins per stone, with grain as valuable as jade. The Shi School Star Classic says: If a guest star enters the氐宿, the price of coffins rises. The Gan School Star Classic says: If a guest star enters the氐宿 (original note: The Wen Yao Gou says 'residing in theRoot mansion'), there will be contributions of women from border states. The Hai Zhong Divination says: If a large red star enters the氐宿, there will be a large mobilization of soldiers. Xi Meng says: If a guest star repeatedly enters the氐宿, there will be epidemics in the country (original note: some say 'no Ba'); if it repeatedly exits, the epidemic will cease. Chen Zhuo says: If a guest star enters theRoot mansion, military actions will be initiated from the borders; or there will be palace turmoil and sudden military actions, with poor harvests of grain. The Jingzhou Divination says: If a guest star enters theRoot mansion, the prices of wheat, hemp, and sheep will rise sharply.

《黃帝》曰：“客星出氐，（一云：入氐。）色黃白，與兩星齊，期十日而赦；去兩星二尺，期百日有赦。”《黃帝》曰：“有星在氐，若有疾於國外。”《文曜鉤》曰：“客星出氐，人主憂病；一曰有德令，若邊國有獻女者。”郗萌曰：“有星入氐中而散，人主有疾，從帶下則上。”《荊州占》曰：“有星入氐中，人主有疾，從帶而下。”石氏曰：“客星起氐中，天子不安宮，移徙，女失坐。”

If the distance between the star and the two stars is two chi, there will be an amnesty within a hundred days. The Wen Yao Gou says: If a guest star shoots out from the Root Mansion, the ruler will be anxious and fall ill; another account says it may indicate a virtuous decree or a border state offering a woman. Xi Meng says: If a star flies into the Root Mansion and then disperses, the ruler will be ill, with the illness spreading upward from below the waistband. The Jingzhou Divination says: If a star flies into the Root Mansion, the ruler will be ill, with the illness spreading downward from the waistband. The Shi School Star Classic says: If a guest star rises from within the Root Mansion, the emperor will not find peace in the palace and will have to move to another place, while the empress will lose her position.

郗萌曰：“客星乘氐下星，馬牛大貴。”《黃帝》曰：“客星逆行入貫氐中央，日月薄食。”郗萌曰：“客星逆入貫氐中，大人奪執失威，大臣乘國之權。”又：“客星逆乘滅氐，有土功事。”《黃帝》曰：“有星守氐；色黑，大水，其國有復王；白，廊廟有憂；黃，有喜；赤，有兵，在廟中，近臣謀弒貴人。”《文曜鉤》曰：“客星守氐，人主憂，帶下病。”石氏曰：“客星守氏，有謀臣欲危其主。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When a guest star moves逆行 and enters and passes through the center of the Dishi mansion, there will be an eclipse of the sun and moon. Xi Meng said: When a guest star moves逆行 and enters the Dishi mansion, the ruler will lose his power and authority, and the ministers will seize the state's power. He also said: When a guest star movesretrograde and overshadows the Dishi mansion, there will be construction projects involving earth and wood. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If a star remains in the Dishi mansion, a black color indicates great water disasters, and the country will have a restored king; a white color indicates court worries; a yellow color indicates joy; a red color indicates military affairs, and if it appears in the ancestral temple, it means that a close minister plots to kill a nobleman. The Wen Yao Gou says: When a guest star remains in the Dishi mansion, the ruler will be troubled and suffer diseases below the waist. The Shi School Star Classic says: When a guest star remains in the Dishi mansion, there is a谋臣 who wants to harm the ruler.

巫咸曰：“客星守氐，兵起國亡，天下受圖而俱起，亡軍。”《海中占》曰：“客星守氐，有德令。”郗萌曰：“客星守氐，天下中外不通，馬不急行，國易政。”（案《後魏志武紀》曰：桓帝時有黃星，見於楚宋之分，遼東殷　善天文，言後五十歲當有真人起豐沛間，其鋒不可當，至五十年，而太祖破袁紹，天下莫敵。）《荊州占》曰：“客星守氐，木器布帛倍價。”郗萌曰：“客星逆守乘滅氐，諸侯王坐法者誅絕，無後。”

Wu Xian said: A guest star remains stationed at the Root Mansion, armies rise and the country falls, and people throughout the world accept prophecies and rise up together, but their armies are destroyed. The book "Sea of Divination" says: A guest star remaining stationed at the Root Mansion indicates virtuous government and imperial edicts. Xi Meng said: A guest star remaining stationed at the Root Mansion, with internal and external communications cut off, horses unable to run swiftly, and the state changing its policies. The original book's marginal note: According to the Records of the Later Wei Dynasty, during the reign of Emperor Huan, a yellow star appeared in the regions corresponding to Chu and Song. A man named Yin from Liao Dong was skilled in astronomy, and he said that fifty years later, a true person would rise from the areas of Feng and Pei, his power unstoppable. By the time of the fifty-year mark, Cao Cao the founder of the Wei state defeated Yuan Shao, and no one could match his power. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: A guest star remaining stationed at the Root Mansion causes wooden objects and cloth to rise in price by double. Xi Meng said: A guest star moving retrograde, remaining stationed, and overpowering and obscuring the Root Mansion indicates that among the feudal princes, some will be executed for breaking the law and their lineages will be extinguished.

《河圖》曰：“客星干房，失春政，不法。”甘氏曰：“客星干犯房，王國空，兵起人飢，骨肉相殘。”《黃帝》曰：“客星入房，糴石千錢，人多餓死，相食，多移去其田宅；皆期後年。”石氏曰：“客星入房，輸食有入者；出房，輸食有出者。赤星入房，國名寶用，龍馬貴；客星入房，諸侯有獻馬者；糴貴。”郗萌曰：“赤星就房，國圍。”又曰：“入房馬貴；出房，名寶有出者。客星入左服，若右服，其有來獻馬者；出左右服，人君使諸侯，以馬為幣。客星入房，有大臣弒其君者。”

The four stars of the Room Mansion are the Bright Hall of the Son of Heaven, and also represent the celestial horse, governing carriages and agricultural seasons. The Gan School Star Classic says: A guest star invading the Room Mansion portends the kingdom becoming empty, war breaking out and people suffering from hunger, with close relatives killing each other. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: A guest star flying into the Room Mansion portends rice prices rising to a thousand coins per stone, many people dying of starvation, even cannibalism, and many people leaving their fields and houses, all happening in the following year. The Shi School Star Classic says: A guest star flying into the Room Mansion portends the inflow of grain; if it flies out from the Room Mansion, it portends the outflow of grain. A red star flying into the Room Mansion portends the use of precious treasures in the country, and the price of dragon horses rising; a guest star flying into the Room Mansion portends that the feudal lords will present horses, and the price of rice will soar. Xi Meng says: A red star approaching the Room Mansion portends the capital being surrounded. It also says: A guest star flying into the Room Mansion portends the price of horses rising; if it flies out from the Room Mansion, there will be an outflow of precious treasures. If a guest star flies into the left or right service of the Room Mansion, there will be people coming to present horses; if it flies out from the left or right service, the sovereign will send envoys to the feudal states, using horses as gifts. A guest star flying into the Room Mansion portends the assassination of the sovereign by a minister.

又曰：“入天府，天下有變更之令，若有急令。客星入天廄之中，滿三日而去，有赦。”《荊州占》曰：“白星入房下，北門有攻戰排門者，在於近臣；期百二十日。客星入天府，有德令；一曰：有賊人；一曰：有兵發；一曰：天下且有大喪。”韓揚曰：“白星入房，赦。”《黃帝》曰：“客星出，（《玉曆》云：出若守之。）在陽，為旱、為喪、為飢；在陰，為兵、為水、亦為飢。”

The Treasury star and the Imperial Stables star are both near the Room mansion. The Treasury star governs treasuries and finances, while the Imperial Stables star governs carriages, horses, and official communications. Therefore, the following statements, though still under the Room mansion, refer to treasury matters and the management of horses. Xi Meng also said: If a guest star enters the Treasury star, there will be imperial edicts changing old regulations or urgent commands. If a guest star enters the Imperial Stables star, it will leave after three days, indicating an imperial pardon. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: If a white star enters under the Room mansion, there will be fighting and conflict at the northern gate, which will affect the close attendants, and this will come to pass within 120 days. If a guest star enters the Treasury star, there will be edicts of virtue; another interpretation says there will be thieves; another says there will be military action; another says there will be a great mourning event in the country. Han Yang said: If a white star enters the Room mansion, there will be an imperial pardon. The "Yellow Emperor's Divination" says: If a guest star shoots out (note: the original text notes that the "Yuli" version says "shoots out" or "remains stationed"), if it is to the south of the Room mansion, it belongs to the yang and indicates drought, mourning, and famine; if it is to the north, it belongs to the yin and indicates war, floods, and famine.

班固《天文志》曰：“漢孝武元光元年六月，客星見於房。二年十一月，單于將十萬騎入武州，漢遣兵三十萬以待之。”郗萌曰：“客星出房，近臣謀主，若暴死，期一年。”又：“有星出房左，為父，次為太子；出房右，為母，次為長女。”《荊州占》曰：“青星出右驂，若左驂而散；人主為牛奔敗。”郗萌曰：“客星在表之北，多水，去下田，耕高田；在表之南，多旱，去高田，耕下田。客星在中道，天下太和，馬貴，一曰牛貴。客星舍房左右，群臣有奪地者。又曰：吞藥死者。”

Ban Gu's "Book of Han: Records of Astronomy" states: In the first year of Yuan Guang of Emperor Wu of Han, in June, a guest star appeared in the Room Mansion; in the second year of Yuan Guang, in November, the Xiongnu Chanyu led ten thousand cavalry into Wuzhou, and the Han dynasty sent thirty thousand troops to confront them. Xi Meng said: A guest star shooting out from the Room Mansion indicates that a close minister is plotting against the sovereign, or that someone will die suddenly, and this will be verified within a year. He also said: If a star shoots out from the left side of the Room Mansion, it should relate to the father, and then to the crown prince; if it shoots out from the right side, it should relate to the mother, and then to the eldest daughter. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: A blue star shooting out from the right骖 or from the left骖 and then dispersing indicates that the sovereign will suffer defeat due to cattle and horses fleeing. Xi Meng said: If a guest star is located north of the table star, it indicates much water, and the people should abandon low-lying fields and switch to cultivating high fields; if it is located south of the table star, it indicates much drought, and the people should abandon high fields and switch to cultivating low fields. If a guest star passes through the middle of the Room Mansion, the world will be peaceful and harmonious, and horse prices will be high, another interpretation says ox prices will be high. If a guest star stops in the left or right of the Room Mansion, there will be ministers who seize land. It also says: Someone will swallow medicine and commit suicide.

石氏曰：“客星守房左驂，馬貴。客星守房，宮有謀臣，臣欲無其主。”巫咸曰：“客星守房，糴貴。”郗萌曰：“客房，天下有急令且恐，治馳道；又曰馬疾；一曰：人主以馬為憂。”《海中占》曰：“客星犯鉤鈐，主有奔馬之敗。”石氏曰：“客星犯鉤鈐，王宮大亂，不出三年。”

The Shi school's Star Classic says: A guest star remaining in the left骖 of the Room mansion indicates that horse prices will rise sharply. A guest star remaining in the Room mansion indicates that there are ministers in the palace who harbor plots, and these ministers wish to eliminate their sovereign. Wu Xian says: A guest star remaining in the Room mansion indicates that grain prices will rise sharply. Xi Meng says: A guest star staying in the Room mansion indicates that there will be urgent orders throughout the country and people will be in panic, and conscripts will be mobilized to repair the royal roads; also, horses will suffer from an epidemic; another interpretation is that the sovereign will worry about horses. The Sea in the Middle Divination says: A guest star invading the 'hook and bell' indicates that there will be incidents of startled horses fleeing and causing failure. The hook and bell stars are located beside the Room mansion, and they are the key and lock of the Son of Heaven. The Shi school's Star Classic says: A guest star invading the hook and bell indicates great disorder in the royal palace, and this will come to pass within three years.

石氏曰：“有星入心，諸侯有來使者；星出心，君使人於諸侯；色赤，言兵也；色黃，言土功；色白，言義；色青，言使者憂；色黑，言客凶。”甘氏曰：“赤星入心，留回之，天子不有喪，當兵死。”夏氏曰：“客星入心，有德令。”郗萌曰：“客星入天子之宮十日，成勾己，天下有大赦。客星入太子宮，太子益官。（一本云：太子不得代。）黑星出房而入心，近臣謀主；若暴死，期一月中。客星入心，丞相憂疾；又曰：大赦，期三月。

The three stars of the Heart Mansion are the Bright Hall of the Heavenly King, the central star is the Heavenly King, the preceding star is the crown prince, and the following star is the younger son. The Gan school's Star Classic says: if a red star flies into the Heart Mansion and stays circling without leaving, the Son of Heaven is either facing a mourning event or will die from military calamity. The Xia school says: if a guest star flies into the Heart Mansion, there will be edicts of virtuous governance. Xi Meng says: if a guest star enters the Son of Heaven's palace for ten days and forms a hook shape, the whole country will have a great amnesty. If a guest star enters the crown prince's palace, the crown prince will add officials (a note in the original text says: another version says the crown prince cannot succeed to the throne). If a black star shoots out from the Room Mansion and flies into the Heart Mansion, the ministers plot against the sovereign, or someone dies suddenly, and this will be fulfilled within a month. If a guest star enters the Heart Mansion, the chancellor will be troubled and fall ill; it also says that there will be a great amnesty, which will be fulfilled within three months.

赤星入心右星，太子有兵；入心左星，庶子有兵。青黑星入心右星，玉子有憂，若有罪；入左星，庶子有憂，若有罪。黃白星入心右星，太子受賜；入左星，庶子受賜。”甘氏曰：“客星出心，天下大旱，兵起滿野，車騎用，國易政，期三年。”郗萌曰：“客星出心中央星以南，若左右有抵罪而走者；黃白，無故；青，憂；黑，死；赤，以兵隨之。”

A yellow-white star entering the right star of the Heart Mansion indicates that the crown prince will receive rewards; entering the left star indicates that a younger son will receive rewards. The Gan school says: if a guest star shoots out from the Heart Mansion, there will be a great drought across the country, military conflicts spreading throughout the fields, both chariots and cavalry will be used, and the state will change its policies, which will be verified within three years. Xi Meng says: if a guest star shoots out from the southern part of the central star of the Heart Mansion, it indicates that there will be people on the left and right who are guilty and flee; if the star is yellow-white, there will be no incident; if it is green, there will be worries; if it is black, there will be death; if it is red, there will be military disasters following.

又曰：“心上有一星，去心一尺所，有中謀；下有星，去心一尺所，有外謀；星多謀多，星少謀少；謀多者，謂人多也；上下俱星，中外俱有謀；星遠人遠，星近人近；近期百日，中期在沖月，遠期在一年中。”《荊州占》曰：“以四月、五月在心尾間，至七月八月，大蟲從東南來。”《黃帝》曰：“有星大如疋布，貫尾判心下星，諸侯有來附兵於君者。”郗萌曰：“客星舍心，兵起。客星逆乘滅心，有謀易君者，宮內有亂謀，權在宗家，得執大臣。”

Xi Meng also said: There is a star above the Heart mansion, about one foot away, which indicates internal plots; there is a star below the Heart mansion, about one foot away, which indicates external plots; more stars mean more plots, fewer stars mean fewer plots. When there are many stars, it means many people are involved; when both upper and lower stars are present, it means there are plots both inside and outside. If the stars are far apart, the people involved in the plot are far away; if the stars are close, the people involved are nearby. Stars close to each other will have their effects within a hundred days, those in the middle will be effective in the month that is opposite to them, and those far away will be effective within a year. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: If a guest star appears between the Heart and Tail mansions in April or May, there will be a great beast coming from the southeast in July or August. The "Yellow Emperor Divination" says: If a star is as big as a piece of cloth, passing through the Tail mansion and splitting the star below the Heart mansion, it indicates that the feudal lords will bring their armies to submit to the king. Xi Meng said: If a guest star stays in the Heart mansion, military affairs will arise. If a guest star moves backward and overshadows the Heart mansion, it indicates that someone is plotting to replace the king, there will be secret plots within the palace, and power will fall into the hands of the royal family, even controlling the ministers.

《黃帝》曰：“客星守心，不過三旬，有善令。赤星大如鋒矢，赤如雞血，入守心，人主遇賊，其出心也；行道甚遠，人主戮於千里之外。”《聖洽符》曰：“客星守心，五十日不去，兵大起，國有喪；人民飢亡，糴貴十倍；期不出百八十日，遠一年。”巫咸曰：“客星守心，糴貴人飢；兵臣謀，有奸臣，成鉤己，有德令；期三月、十月，稷、布大貴。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If a guest star remains stationed at the Heart Mansion for no more than thirty days, there will be an edict proclaiming good governance. If a red star is large like an arrowhead and red like chicken blood, and it flies into and remains stationed at the Heart Mansion, the ruler will suffer from bandits. If it then shoots out from the Heart Mansion and travels a long distance, the ruler will be killed far away beyond a thousand li. The Sacred Harmony Symbol says: If a guest star remains stationed at the Heart Mansion for fifty days without departing, great military conflicts will arise, and the country will experience mourning. The people will suffer from hunger and flee, and rice prices will rise tenfold. The earliest it will be fulfilled is within 180 days, and the furthest within a year. Wu Xian says: If a guest star remains stationed at the Heart Mansion, rice prices will soar and the people will suffer from hunger. The minister in charge of military affairs will plot rebellion, and there will be wicked ministers in the court. If the guest star forms a hook shape, there will be edicts of virtuous governance. This should occur in March and October, when grain and silk will greatly increase in price.

郗萌曰：“客星守心，有大土功，有大喪；大人當之；又曰人疾。客星守心中央星，大人憂；守太子，太子得立；守庶子，庶子誅。客星守心，赤為亡兵；青黑、為憂。客星守心二十日，谷大貴。”《荊州占》曰：“赤星守心，大軍兵滿野，車騎用，布帛貴，娟女運谷。

Xi Meng said: A guest star remains over the Heart Mansion, indicating large-scale construction projects and a great mourning, which should be related to the sovereign; it also suggests that the host has illness. A guest star remaining over the central star of the Heart Mansion indicates the sovereign will have worries; a guest star remaining over the preceding star of the太子 (crown prince) indicates the crown prince will succeed; a guest star remaining over the following star of the庶子 (younger son) indicates the younger son will be executed. A guest star remaining over the Heart Mansion with a red color indicates death by military disaster; with a black and blue color indicates worries. A guest star remaining over the Heart Mansion for twenty days causes grain prices to rise sharply. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: A red star remaining over the Heart Mansion indicates a large army is deployed across the fields, both chariots and cavalry are mobilized, silk and cloth prices are high, and even women are involved in transporting supplies for the army.

三年易改。”《雜候集》曰：“他星守心，其國亡邑，有善令。”《天旬占》曰：“客星守心，蜚蝗大起，糴大貴十倍，萬人飢，流亡在道，下有謀反逆者。”石氏曰：“客星犯守心，宮鍾大鳴，劍戟大橫，大臣相疑，天下兵起，心變期急，近期七日，中期七十日，遠期百八十日。”《荊州占》曰：“客星犯乘守心者，大旱，天下備火，近期十日，遠期三年。”

(Continuing from the previous divination text) Within three years, the political situation will change. The "Miscellaneous Divination Collection" says: if other strange stars remain stationary at the "Heart Mansion" and do not depart, that state will lose its cities, but the court will issue lenient policies. The "Celestial Decade Divination" says: "Guest Star" — a strange star that suddenly appears and then disappears after some time, ancient people regarded it as an intruding guest in the heavenly court, today's new stars and supernovas are all included in this category, which can be further divided into Zhou Bo, Laozi, Wang Pengxu, Guohuang, and Wenshi — when it stays at the Heart Mansion, locusts will swarm and cause great disaster, grain prices will rise tenfold compared to usual, thousands of people will suffer from hunger, and the elderly and children will wander on the roads, ministers will plot rebellion. The Shi school says: when the guest star invades and stays at the Heart Mansion, the great bells in the palace will ring without cause, swords and spears will be found on the streets, ministers will be suspicious of each other, and wars will break out across the country. Once the Heart Mansion changes, the fulfillment of the prophecy will be very quick: near cases within seven days, middle cases within seventy days, and far cases within one hundred and eighty days. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: when the guest star invades, dominates, and stays at the Heart Mansion, there will be a great drought, the whole country will need to be on high alert for fires, near cases will be fulfilled within ten days, and far cases within three years.

《黃帝占》曰：“客星入尾，歲飢，人相食，多死者。”《聖洽符》曰：“客星入尾，大水；其入之，順行，有德；逆行，凶。”石氏曰：“客星入尾，北夷大飢，來降。客星入尾，人多移徙。”

The Huangdi Zhan says: A guest star entering the Tail mansion — the Tail mansion is the sixth of the Seven Mansions of the Eastern Azure Dragon, consisting of nine stars, shaped like a dragon's tail, governing the imperial harem, as well as storms, rain, water, and drought — in this year there will be famine, people will starve to the point of eating each other, and many will die. The Shengqia Fufu says: A guest star entering the Tail mansion indicates a great flood disaster; when it enters and proceeds in order along the sequence of the mansions, it is a favorable omen of virtuous governance; if it moves in reverse order, it is a凶 omen. The Shi school says: A guest star entering the Tail mansion indicates that northern foreign tribes will suffer great famine and come to submit. It also says: A guest star entering the Tail mansion will cause the people to migrate in large numbers to other regions.

又曰：“入天司空，多土功事，有尾之禽大貴，天下大水；黑星若蒼星入尾，故臣有來使者。白星入尾、箕，邊城將侯，司空死之。客星入尾，皇后有以珠玉簪珥惑天子者。客星入尾，多風；一曰：水祥；一曰：雨降。客星入尾，宮人惡之。”《荊州占》曰：“客星入尾，天下大振；一東一西、一南一北，男不得耕，女不得織。”

The Shi school also says: if a guest star enters the "Tian Sikong" star, there will be frequent construction work, the price of animals with tails will rise, and there will be a great flood throughout the land; if a black or blue guest star enters the Tail mansion, former ministers will send envoys to come. If a white guest star enters the Tail mansion or the Winnowing Basket mansion, the border generals, marquises, and officials responsible for construction such as the Minister of Works will die. If a guest star enters the Tail mansion, some of the empresses will use jewels and ornaments to deceive the emperor. If a guest star enters the Tail mansion, there will be frequent strong winds; some say it is a sign of flood, others say it indicates heavy rain from heaven. If a guest star enters the Tail mansion, the palace ladies and attendants regard it as an omen of ill fortune. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: if a guest star enters the Tail mansion, the whole country will be greatly shaken; if a guest star moves east and west, south and north unpredictably, men will not be able to rest in farming, and women will not be able to rest in weaving.

《黃帝占》曰：“客星守箕，多土功事；又曰：守箕北，小熟；守箕東，大熟；守箕南，小飢；守箕西，大飢。”石氏曰：“客星守箕，天下飢；色赤，則為兵。”郗萌曰：“客星入箕，民流亡；若出箕，宮人出。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If a guest star remains stationary at the mansion of Ji, which is the last of the Seven Stars of the Eastern Azure Dragon, forming a shape like a winnowing basket, governing winds from all directions, as well as disputes and matters concerning foreign tribes—there will be a great deal of construction work. It also says: If the guest star remains at the northern part of Ji, there will be a small harvest; if it remains at the eastern part, there will be a great harvest; if it remains at the southern part, there will be a small famine; if it remains at the western part, there will be a great famine. The Shi school says: If a guest star remains at Ji, the whole country will suffer from famine; if the guest star appears red, it indicates warfare. Xi Meng says: If a guest star enters Ji, the people will be displaced; if the guest star exits Ji, the people in the palace will be sent out.

《荊州占》曰：“客星入箕，多風暴雨，宮女不安；或外國有使來；一曰：官木用。”武密曰：“客星入箕，則有風雨。”《天文總論》曰：“客星入箕，有土功事；守箕，則秋冬水災。”《天文錄》曰：“客星出於箕，民飢，大臣有見棄者；入箕，北夷飢。”

The book "Jingzhou Divination" says: When a guest star enters the Winnowing Basket mansion, there will be frequent strong winds and heavy rains, causing the palace women to be restless in mind; or there will be envoys from foreign countries arriving; another interpretation says that the government will need to requisition a large amount of timber. Wu Mi says: When a guest star enters the Winnowing Basket mansion, there will be storms and rains. "General Astronomical Discussion" says: When a guest star enters the Winnowing Basket mansion, there will be construction projects; if it stays in the Winnowing Basket mansion without leaving, then there will be floods in the autumn and winter seasons. "Astronomical Records" says: When a guest star exits from the Winnowing Basket mansion, the people will suffer from famine, and among the ministers, some will be discarded by the sovereign; when a guest star enters the Winnowing Basket mansion, there will be famine among the northern foreign tribes.

甘氏曰：“客星干犯南斗度，其國必亂；兵大起，期一年。”陳卓曰：“客星干犯南斗，王者疾病，臣謀其君，子謀其父，弟謀其兄，是謂無理，諸侯不通，天下易政，期百八十日，遠不出一年。”《黃帝占》曰：“客星入南斗中三尺，三日不去，城郭閉道不通，貴人坐之。”又曰：“入鐵鉞，外兵擒，士卒殺傷其將，外國來降。”（《北官候》曰：國來而不降。）

The Gan school says: When a guest star invades and approaches the constellation of the Southern Dipper, which is the first of the seven northern constellations of the Black Tortoise, consisting of six stars arranged in the shape of a dipper, it governs rank, salary, and longevity, and corresponds to the regions of Wu and Yue. The state to which this constellation belongs will surely experience turmoil and large-scale military campaigns, which will be fulfilled within a year. Chen Zhuo says: When a guest star invades the Southern Dipper, the king will fall ill, ministers will plot against the king, sons against their fathers, and younger brothers against their elder brothers, which is called the disruption of the family order. The feudal lords will no longer communicate with the court, and the world will change its ruling power, which will be fulfilled within 180 days, at the latest within a year. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When a guest star enters the Southern Dipper within three chi, and does not leave for three days, city gates will be closed and roads will be cut off, and the powerful will be punished for this. It also says: When a guest star enters the star of the Iron Axe, soldiers stationed outside will be captured by the enemy, soldiers will kill their own generals, and foreign countries will come to surrender. (Original note: The Northern Officials' Observation says that foreign countries come but do not surrender.)

《河圖》曰：“有星入南斗，有君來見吾君者。”《聖洽符》曰：“小赤星氣交入南斗建中，此揚見精者，宮人子方生，非其子也。”石氏曰：“有星入南斗，諸侯客有來見天子者；出斗，天子使人之諸侯；色青，皆言憂；赤，皆言兵；黃，皆言土；白，皆言義；黑，皆言凶。客星入南斗中三日三夜，天下有赦，期三月。”

The Yellow River Chart says: If an unusual star enters the Southern Dipper, there will be a foreign king coming to pay homage to our king. The Sacred Harmony Symbol says: A small red guest star, with its star energy crossing into the Southern Dipper and the 'Jian' star, is a sign of rising spiritual energy, indicating that the children born in the palace are not actually the king's biological offspring. The Shi school says: If an unusual star enters the Southern Dipper, there will be a prince or guest coming to pay homage to the Son of Heaven; if the unusual star exits from the Southern Dipper, it signifies that the Son of Heaven will send envoys to the feudal states. A guest star appearing in the color of green indicates calamity; red indicates military affairs; yellow indicates construction and earthworks; white indicates political movements; and black indicates misfortune. If a guest star enters the Southern Dipper and stays for three days and three nights, the whole country will have a great amnesty, which will be fulfilled within three months.

巫咸曰：“客星入南斗，諸侯不通天子，且有舉兵伐父者，弟攻其兄。”夏氏曰：“客星入南斗，諸侯相攻伐。”郗萌曰：“客星入南斗，多盜賊；以十一月、四月入斗中，天下赦，無餘囚；期六十日，遠期六月。”陳卓曰：“客星入南斗中，谷不登，人相攻。”石氏曰：“客星出南斗，兵革大起，有大水，天下飢，人相食；一曰關梁不通，期二年。”

Wu Xian said: A guest star entering the Southern Dipper indicates that the princes will no longer consult the Son of Heaven, and there will be cases of sons rebelling against their fathers, as well as brothers fighting each other. Xia Shi said: A guest star entering the Southern Dipper indicates that the princes will attack each other. Xi Meng said: A guest star entering the Southern Dipper indicates many bandits. If it enters the Dipper in November or April, the whole country will be pardoned, and prisoners will be released from jail. This will be fulfilled within sixty days, at the latest within six months. Chen Zhuo said: A guest star entering the Southern Dipper indicates that grain will not mature, and people will attack each other. The Shi school said: A guest star emerging from the Southern Dipper indicates great warfare, and also major floods, leading to famine throughout the land, with people starving to the point of eating each other. Another interpretation says that passes and bridges will be blocked, and this will be fulfilled within two years.

《宋書天文志》曰：“晉孝武太元二年三月，客星在南斗，至六月乃沒；占曰：有兵；一曰有赦。是後雍兗冀常有兵役，十二月、正月大赦；八月又赦。”郗萌曰：“赤白星暴出南斗魁前，宮室兵起，中魁，神將軍坐之，戮死。”《帝覽嬉》曰：“客星居南斗，道不通。”

The "Book of the Sui" records that in the second year of Taoyuan during the reign of Emperor Xiaowu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, in the third month, a guest star appeared in the southern dipper, and it disappeared in the sixth month. The divination text says it indicates military affairs, or alternatively, a great amnesty. After that, there was continuous conscription and military service in the regions of Yongzhou, Yanzhou, and Jizhou. In the twelfth month of that year and the first month of the following year, there were two major amnesties, and again in the eighth month. Xi Meng said: a red and white guest star suddenly appeared in front of the southern dipper's handle, indicating a rebellion within the palace; if the star was exactly in the center of the handle, then the person holding the position of "Shen General" would be punished for this, and would be executed and die. The "Yellow River Chart: Emperor's Enjoyment of the River" says: a guest star remaining in the southern dipper indicates blocked roads.

《黃帝占》曰：“客星守南斗，五穀登，賤，貴於後冬。”《文耀鉤》曰：“客星守南斗五十日，大臣有謀，兵大起，國易政，王者有憂，期三年。”《黃帝》曰：“客星守南斗，其君不親信其臣，有兵興。”石氏曰：“客星守南斗，天下有喜福，五穀熟。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If a guest star remains in the Southern Dipper for a long time, there will be a bountiful harvest of grain, and grain prices will be low. However, after the winter of that year, prices will rise again. The Wen Yao Gou says: If a guest star stays in the Southern Dipper for fifty days, ministers will secretly plot, there will be large-scale military campaigns, the state will change its policies, and the king will have worries, which will come true within three years. The Yellow Emperor's Divination also says: If a guest star remains in the Southern Dipper, the ruler will not be close to or trust his ministers, and wars will arise. The Shi school says: If a guest star remains in the Southern Dipper, the world will have joyful and auspicious events, and the five grains will mature.

郗萌曰：“客星守南斗，諸侯謀，王者役軍，人皆走；又曰：大旱，宮廟有火之憂，人多疾疫。”又曰：“客星守南斗，天下易政；一曰：兵官憂；一曰以水飢。”班固《天文志》曰：“元帝初元元年四月，客星大如瓜，色青白，在南斗第二星東，可四尺；其五月，渤海水大溢。”《荊州占》曰：“客星守天庫，兵革起。”

Xi Meng said: A guest star remained in the Southern Dipper, the feudal lords secretly plotted, the king mobilized troops, and the people scattered in flight; it also said there would be a great drought, with the danger of fire in the palaces and ancestral temples, and many people would contract epidemic diseases. Xi Meng also said: A guest star remained in the Southern Dipper, the political situation of the whole country would change; one interpretation said that officials in charge of military affairs would have worries, another said that there would be famine due to floods. Ban Gu's "Book of Han: Astronomical Records" records: In the first year of Chu Yuan of Emperor Yuan of Han, in the fourth month, a guest star appeared, as big as a gourd, with a bluish-white color, located east of the second star of the Southern Dipper by about four chi; by this fifth month, the sea water in the Bohai Sea overflowed greatly onto the land. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When a guest star remains in the "Tianku" star, weapons would be raised.

陳卓曰：“客星犯牽牛，有犧牲之事。”石氏曰：“客星中犯牽牛，吳越兵自立，三年而滅；期不出一年，遠三年中。”《彗要占》曰：“客星干犯牽牛，中國起兵。”《黃帝占》曰：“客星入牽牛，諸侯有兵。”又曰：“入天鼓，外國來降。”

Chen Zhuo said: A guest star invading the constellation Qian Niu — Qian Niu is the second of the seven northern constellations of the Black Tortoise, consisting of six stars, which preside over sacrifices used in worship, as well as passes and bridges, and correspond to the region of Wu and Yue — there will be matters concerning the sacrifice of animals. The Shi school said: A guest star invading Qian Niu from the center, in the region of Wu and Yue, there will be people raising armies and declaring themselves kings, and they will be destroyed within three years; the event will occur within a year, or at the latest within three years. The "Hui Yao Zhan" said: A guest star pressing upon Qian Niu, armies will be raised in the central plains. The "Huang Di Zhan" said: A guest star entering Qian Niu, wars will break out among the feudal lords. It also said: A guest star entering Tian Gu star, foreign states will come to submit.

郗萌曰：“客星入牽牛，大臣外交諸侯；赤黃白，成；青黑，敗。”又曰：“有星入牽牛，諸侯客有來，以四足蟲為幣者；出牽牛，君使之諸侯，以四足蟲為幣；色青，皆道疾；黑，死不至。”《荊州占》曰：“客星入牽牛，有兵發而行。”

Xi Meng said: A guest star entering the constellation Niutou indicates that high officials are secretly communicating with the feudal lords. If the guest star appears red, yellow, or white, the matter will succeed; if it appears blue or black, the matter will certainly fail. He also said: If an unusual star enters the constellation Niutou, there will be envoys sent by the feudal lords visiting, offering four-legged animals such as cattle and horses as gifts. If the unusual star exits from the constellation Niutou, it signifies that the sovereign will send envoys to the feudal states, also offering four-legged animals as gifts. If the guest star appears blue, the envoys will become ill on the way; if it appears black, the envoys will die halfway and not arrive. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: A guest star entering the constellation Niutou indicates that armies will be dispatched on the road.

甘氏曰：“客星出牽牛，有兵起，大將出；若關梁不通，若地大動，馬牛貴三倍，期二年。”巫咸曰：“客星出牽牛，其國兵起，大將出；若關梁不通，多死，期不出一年。”陳卓曰：“客星出牽牛，兵北行。”郗萌曰：“客星舍牽牛，臣謀其主，五穀不登。”

The Gan school says: When a guest star emerges from the constellation Niutou, there will be warfare, with generals leading armies to campaign; or there will be blockades at passes and bridges, or a great earthquake, with the price of cattle and horses rising three times the usual price, and this will come to pass within two years. Wu Xian says: When a guest star emerges from the constellation Niutou, the state will mobilize its military forces, with generals leading campaigns; or there will be blockades at passes and bridges, resulting in many deaths, and this will occur within a year. Chen Zhuo says: When a guest star emerges from the constellation Niutou, the army will march northward. Xi Meng says: When a guest star remains in the constellation Niutou, ministers will plot against the sovereign, and the five grains will not be harvested.

《續漢書天文志》曰：“孝明永平九年正月戊申客星出牽牛，長八尺，歷建星至房南滅，見五十日。牽牛主吳越，房心為宋，後廣陵王荊與沈涼楚王英顏忠，各謀逆事覺，皆自殺。廣陵屬吳彭城，古宋地。”

The "Continued Book of the Han Dynasty · Records of Celestial Phenomena" states: In the ninth year of the Yongping era of Emperor Ming of the Han Dynasty, on theWushen day of the first lunar month, a guest star appeared in the constellation Niutou, with a tail eight feet long. It passed over the star "Jian," and continued until it disappeared south of the Fangsu star, remaining visible for fifty days. The territory corresponding to the constellation Niutou is Wu and Yue, while the territory corresponding to Fangsu and Xinxu is the State of Song. Later, Prince Guangling Liu Jing and Shen Liang, as well as Prince Chu Liu Ying and Yan Zhong, each plotted rebellion, but their plots were uncovered, and they all committed suicide. Guangling belongs to the region of Wu, while Pengcheng was the ancient capital of the State of Song.

石氏曰：“守牽牛，越有善象，獻中國。”石氏曰：“赤星守牽牛，人民為亂。”郗萌曰：“客星守牽牛，王者外其大臣。”又曰：“客星守若入牽牛，盜賊在江海，歲多水。”（案司馬彪《天文志》曰：孝順永建六年十二月壬申，客星芒氣長二尺餘。西南指，色蒼白，在牽牛六度。後一年，會稽海賊部曾於等，殺長吏，拘奪吏民。楊州六郡逆賊章河等，犯四十九縣，大攻吏人也。）《地軸占》曰：“客星守牽牛，地大動。”《海中占》曰：“客星出入守牽牛，馬貴，價三倍。”

The Shi school said: A guest star remaining in the constellation Niutou indicates that in the southern regions, there will be tame elephants that will be presented to the central plains court. The Shi school also said: A red guest star remaining in the constellation Niutou indicates that the people will rebel. Xi Meng said: A guest star remaining in the constellation Niutou indicates that the king will distance himself from his ministers. It also said: If a guest star remains or enters the constellation Niutou, bandits will run rampant along the rivers and seas. The constellation Niutou corresponds to the region of Wu and Yue, so the effects should be seen in areas bordering the sea. That year also experienced frequent flooding. (Note: According to Sima Biao's "Continued Book of Han: Records of Astronomy," in the twelfth month of the sixth year of Emperor Shun's Yongjian period, a guest star appeared with a tail more than two chi long, pointing to the southwest, with a bluish-white color, located at the sixth degree of the constellation Niutou. After one year, sea bandits led by Cai Zhe in Kuaiji killed local officials, captured and plundered officials and civilians; rebels from six commanderies in Yangzhou, led by Zhang He, attacked forty-nine counties, killing officials and civilians extensively.) The "Di Zhou Zhuan" said: A guest star remaining in the constellation Niutou indicates that the earth will experience severe earthquakes. Chen Zhuo said: A guest star invading the 'Xu Nu' mansion indicates that a neighboring state will send outstanding women to the palace to serve; favored concubines will be elevated to empress. The Shi school said: A guest star entering the Xu Nu mansion indicates that among the feudal lords, there are those who present women for service. Chen Zhuo said: A guest star entering the Xu Nu mansion causes the price of hemp to rise; there are military conflicts among the feudal lords, and roads in the Yangtze and Huai River regions are blocked. Xi Meng said: A guest star entering the Xu Nu mansion and remaining there indicates that among the feudal kings, some will cut off communication with the court; another interpretation is that there will be estrangement between father and son. The "Jingzhou Divination" said: A guest star entering the Xu Nu mansion indicates many weddings and marriages; the prices of silk, brocade, and cotton will rise.

The Shi school says: A guest star emerging from the constellation Niuniu signifies a joyful event of a daughter's marriage; a guest star appearing yellow-white is auspicious, while one appearing bluish-black is ominous, and one appearing red indicates trouble. Xi Meng says: A guest star suddenly emerging from the constellation Niuniu means the female ruler will be executed for a crime, and this will happen within a year. It also says: If a guest star remains stationary in the constellation Niuniu without moving, the court will issue an extraordinary decree. The One Hundred and Twenty Divinations say: Other strange stars emerging from the constellation Niuniu indicate that some female attendants in the emperor's court will be released from the palace.

The Gan school also says: A guest star lingering to the south of the constellation Niuniu indicates someone presenting a woman; a low-born woman suddenly becomes prominent. Xi Meng says: A guest star lingering in the constellation Niuniu causes women to disrupt the state, leading to the collapse of its government. A red guest star lingering in the constellation Niuniu indicates urgent warfare, high grain prices, and people selling themselves to survive; another interpretation is that a concubine is elevated to become the official wife. Chen Zhuo says: A guest star lingering in the constellation Niuniu indicates rising grain prices. The Northern Officials' Divination says: A green guest star entering the constellation Niuniu indicates many deaths from warfare. The One Hundred and Twenty Divinations say: Another strange star entering the constellation Niuniu and lingering there indicates someone presenting beautiful women to the palace. The Jingzhou Divination says: A black guest star emerging from the constellation Niuniu indicates mourning.

郗萌曰：“客星干犯虛中，哭泣之事；有井田之法，改制之事。”《黃帝占》曰：“客星入虛，有軍在外大飢，將離散，卒死亡，天下有大令。”石氏曰：“客星虛中，主出將；有二客星，天下無處主。客星入虛中，色赤，有遊客入國；色黃白，吉；色青黑，有凶事。”

Xi Meng said: A guest star invading the "Xu" mansion - the Xu mansion is the fourth of the seven northern Black Tortoise mansions, consisting of two stars, which preside over weeping and funerals, as well as tombs and temples - there will be matters concerning weeping and funerals; also, there will be the implementation of well-field land systems and actions involving changing systems. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When a guest star enters the Xu mansion, armies engaged in external warfare will face a great famine, generals will scatter, soldiers will die, and the world will issue significant orders. The Shi school says: When a guest star resides in the Xu mansion, it signifies the king sending generals to campaign; if two guest stars appear simultaneously, there will be no sovereign who can provide a stable rule. When a guest star enters the Xu mansion and appears red, there will be foreign envoys entering the country; if it appears yellow or white, it is a favorable omen; if it appears blue or black, there will be ominous events.

郗萌曰：“客星入虛，種貴，糴大貴；又曰天府有德令，期十一月。客星入虛中，三日環之，有赦；期七十日。客星入虛，大人當之。客星入虛、危；色赤，有贄客來者；色白，有無幣客來者；赤星入虛，糴貴，人有自賣者。”《荊州占》曰：“客星入虛，天下大亂，政急，大人憂，其國飢。”

Xi Meng said: A guest star entering the Emptiness mansion will cause the price of seeds to rise and grain prices to soar; it also says that the 'Treasury star and Command star' will issue lenient policies, which will be fulfilled within eleven months. When a guest star enters the Emptiness mansion and circles for three days, there will be a great amnesty, which will be fulfilled within seventy days. A guest star entering the Emptiness mansion indicates that a person of high status will bear this omen. When a guest star enters the Emptiness mansion and the Rooftop mansion, if it appears red, there will be guests arriving with gifts; if it appears white, there will be guests arriving without gifts; if a red guest star enters the Emptiness mansion, grain prices will rise and some people will sell themselves to survive. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When a guest star enters the Emptiness mansion, there will be great chaos throughout the land, harsh policies, worry for those in high positions, and famine in the country.

《百二十占》曰：“他星入虛、危；青若黑，有以喪事使者。”石氏曰：“有星入虛、危，色青黑，有哭泣之事。客星出虛，大臣為亂，兵大起，國有喪，天下有哭泣之事，期三年。”（案司馬彪《天文志》曰：孝安末初三年十一月甲午，客星見西方，色蒼白，在虛危南至胃昴，至建光元年三月癸己，鄧太后崩。）

If a strange star emerges from the Emptiness mansion, ministers will rebel, large-scale military actions will occur, there will be mourning within the country, and mourning events will happen throughout the world, which will be fulfilled within three years. 郗萌曰：“客星入虛，君使人之諸侯。赤，無幣，青黑，有告喪者。客星出入虛，天子自將兵於野。客星舍天府，天下有急行，期十月。”石氏曰：“夏三月，視虛中，有奇星一在虛，邦不居其處；有奇星二，將死；有奇星三，相死；有奇星四，將軍敗；有奇星五，大凶。”

Xi Meng said: A guest star entering the Emptiness mansion indicates that the ruler sends envoys to the states of the feudal lords. If the guest star appears red, the envoys do not carry gifts; if it appears dark blue or black, there will be someone coming to report the death of a ruler. When the guest star enters and leaves the Emptiness mansion, the emperor will personally lead his army to fight in the open field. If the guest star stops in the Treasury star and Command star, there will be urgent military actions, which will be verified within ten months. The Shi school said: During the three summer months, if an unusual star is seen in the Emptiness mansion, the states cannot remain in their original places; if there are two such stars, the generals will die; if there are three, the prime ministers will die; if there are four, the generals will suffer defeat; if there are five, it is a great omen of misfortune.

司馬彪《天文志》曰：“客星在虛危，為喪。”《孝經章句》曰：“客星守虛，臣亂其上而不知；又曰：國君死，或有德令。”甘氏曰：“客星守，其國兵。”《玉曆》曰：“客星守虛，三十日不去，其國君死；若大臣有戮，兵喪並起，期百八十日，遠一年。”《百二十占》曰：“他星守虛，有謀。”

Simabiao's "Continued Book of Han: Records of Celestial Phenomena" says: if a guest star appears in the mansion of Emptiness or the mansion of Rooftop, it indicates calamities and deaths. The "Commentary on the Classic of Filial Piety" says: if a guest star stays in the mansion of Emptiness, ministers will disturb the sovereign, and the sovereign will not be aware of it; it also says that the sovereign will die, or there will be lenient policies. The Gan school says: if a guest star remains in a mansion without departing, the state will have military affairs. The "Ji Li" says: if a guest star stays in the mansion of Emptiness for thirty days without leaving, the sovereign of that state will die; or a high official will be executed, and military troubles and deaths will occur together, which will be fulfilled within one hundred and eighty days, at the furthest within a year. The "One Hundred and Twenty Divinations" says: if other strange stars stay in the mansion of Emptiness, there will be plots.

石氏曰：“客星出虛而守之，其國君死；若大臣有戮，期百八十日，遠一年。”巫咸曰：“客星犯守虛，近一年，遠二年；當有哭泣之事。”郗萌曰：“國有哭臨之事。”陳卓曰：“客星犯守虛，天下有謀。”

The Shi school says: If a guest star emerges from the Emptiness mansion and then stays there, the ruler of the state will die; or a high official will be executed, and this will come to pass within 180 days, at the furthest within a year. Wu Xian says: If a guest star invades and stays in the Emptiness mansion, the event will occur within a year or two, and there will be mourning and funerals. Xi Meng says: There will be gatherings of people mourning and lamenting in the country. Chen Zhuo says: If a guest star invades and stays in the Emptiness mansion, there will be people plotting rebellion across the land.
