The Spring and Spirit Symbol says: When an eclipse occurs in the Neck mansion, the ruler of the state will have worries. Shi Shen says: When an eclipse occurs in the Neck mansion, plots will emerge among officials in the court who are guilty of wrongdoing.

《黃帝占》曰：“日月蝕氐中，天子疾崩。”石氏曰：“日蝕氐中，卿相讒諛，人君滅無辜。”甘氏曰：“日在氐房而蝕，戒之在三公、九卿、大夫，且有相譖誤主上，使過刑殺不辜者。”甘氏曰：“蝕氐中，大官惡之；一曰右宮惡之；王者復以赦除之。”

There will be mutual slander and misleading the sovereign, causing him to wrongly punish the innocent. The king may issue another amnesty decree to eliminate this calamity.

The "Sea Divination" says: When an eclipse occurs in the degree of the Heart Mansion, it signifies that military affairs and funerals will both break out, and the king should issue an amnesty decree to eliminate the calamity. The "Spring and Auspicious Spirits Classic" says: When an eclipse occurs in the Tail Mansion or the Winnowing Basket Mansion, it indicates that the esteemed empress will have worries. Gan De said: When the Sun is in the Tail Mansion or the Winnowing Basket Mansion and an eclipse occurs, there will be a fierce wind that lifts vehicles into the air, tears off roofs, and breaks trees; one must be especially cautious during movement and rest.

Gan De says: When the Star of brightness and prestige is in the Ox mansion and an eclipse occurs, one should be on guard against the right queen, her niece, her daughter-in-law, and other female relatives of the royal family, as well as those who seek favor with the sovereign through religious ceremonies. The Spring and Autumn Annals: A Book of Spiritual Signs says: When an eclipse occurs in the Girl mansion, it indicates that the female ruler of a state will have worries, and the entire country's textile industry will come to a halt. Gan De says: When the Star of brightness and prestige is in the Girl mansion and an eclipse occurs, one should be on guard within the palace, and there will be people who incite priests and shamans to perform worship ceremonies to seek favor and prestige, so these priests and shamans should be particularly watched.

Gan De says: When the Star of brightness and prestige is between the Encampment mansion and the Wall mansion and an eclipse occurs, then the yang energy declines and weakens, the male principle although exerted cannot be expressed, the female principle is ruined and cannot produce offspring, thus many people suffer injuries and deaths. Hou's records say: When the Star of brightness and prestige is in the Wall mansion and an eclipse occurs, it indicates the monarch refuses to listen to the advice of teachers and friends, losing the way of loyalty and filial piety, hence it is called 'defect'; the classics and documents are also discarded and neglected.

The "Chunqiu Ganjingfu" says: When an eclipse occurs in the mansion of Lou, it indicates that the king's sacrificial rites to heaven at the outskirts will not be conducted in due time, the world will not be harmonious, the spirits will not accept the offerings, the minor officials will not be loyal, and the responsibility lies with the senior officials. Gan De says: When an eclipse occurs in the mansion of Lou, one should be on alert against officials who impose heavy taxes and levies.

Gan De says: When the Sun is in the Three Stars mansion and the position of the Star of Execution, and an eclipse occurs, one should be alert regarding the generals who command the army.
