The ministering star is only one, located south of the Big Dipper, and is specifically in charge of the position of assistant. 甘氏曰：“填星守犯太陽守，大臣戮死；若有誅，期不出年。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn stops and invades the Star of Brightness and Prestige, it indicates that a minister will be executed or killed, but the predicted time will not occur in the current year. The Star of Brightness and Prestige located near the Big Dipper's handle signifies the duties of ministers and generals in defense. When this star is occupied by Saturn, it relates to the life and death of high-ranking officials.

《海中占》曰：“填星犯天牢，王者以獄為弊；貴人多有擊者。”

The Sea Divination says: When the planet of earth invades the Heavenly Prison star, the king will be troubled by legal matters and thus produce corrupt policies; many noblemen will be arrested and tortured. The two divination texts give opposite predictions of good or bad fortune, so one should refer to the brightness or dimness of the star's color and the speed or slowness of its movement to determine the outcome.

郗萌曰：“填星入守北斗中，貴人擊。”

Xi Meng said: The planet of earth enters and stays in the "Big Dipper" section of Qiu, indicating that the nobleman will be arrested and humiliated. The Big Dipper is the chariot of the heavenly emperor, moving in the center and governing the four directions, being the place from which commands are issued. The planet of earth remaining in it for a long time means that those in high positions will be the first to be affected.

巫咸曰：“填星守紫宮，民莫處其室宅，流移亡其鄉。”又占曰：“填星入紫宮，王者益地，一天下有喜；一曰主敬妃后。”又占曰：“填星入紫宮中，若守之，女主用事，誅大臣；期六十日，有赦。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Saturn remains within the Purple Palace, causing the people to be unable to reside in their own homes, wandering and losing their homeland. Another divination says: When Saturn enters the Purple Palace, the king will expand his territory, and all under heaven will rejoice; another interpretation suggests the monarch will particularly honor his concubines. Another divination says: When Saturn enters the Purple Palace or stays within it, it indicates that a female ruler will take power, executing ministers; the period of effect is sixty days, and at that time there will be an amnesty. The Purple Palace is the dwelling place of the heavenly emperor, so when one star enters it, both good and bad omens relate to the supreme ruler.

《甄曜度》：“填星乘守中犯北極主星，有大喪；若犯妃后星，女主有殃；一曰大人當之。”《黃帝占》曰：“填星犯守鉤陳，後宮亂，兵起宮中，倖臣王者憂。”

The Zhen Yaodu says: When the planet of earth is eclipsed, stays, and directly confronts the main star of the Northern Pole, it indicates a great loss. 石氏曰：“填星守太一，倖臣有謀；兵起，人主憂。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth is stationed on the star of Taiyi, it indicates that a favored minister has other intentions; military affairs arise, and the sovereign becomes anxious. Taiyi and Tianyi are placed side by side outside the Purple Palace, they are the alternative names of the heavenly emperor, governing the sixteen spirits and knowing the weather conditions of rain, wind, water, and drought. When the planet of earth remains stationed upon Taiyi for a long time, the dangers from within the court and the worries of military conflict are both revealed.

郗萌曰：“填星入庫樓，兵出。”又占曰：“填星入天庫，以舉兵，大吉。”

Another divination says: When Saturn enters "Tianku", to launch an army at this time is highly auspicious. The ten stars of Kulou lie to the south of Jiaoxu, symbolizing war chariots and military stores. Saturn entering this area and predicting good fortune aligns with Saturn's nature of virtue and solidity. When an army is sent out with proper preparation, it will achieve success.

石氏曰：“填星犯守南門，邊兵起；若道路不通。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Saturn invades and stays at the two stars of the Southern Gate, it indicates military actions at the borders or blocked roads. The Southern Gate is located south of Kulu, representing the outer gate of heaven, symbolizing border passes. When this gate is violated, it signifies border alerts and blocked roads.

石氏曰：“填星犯平星，凶。”甘氏曰：“填星犯平星，執政臣憂；若有罪，誅者期一年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth invades the Ping Star, it indicates misfortune. Gan De says: When the planet of earth invades the Ping Star, the senior officials in charge of state affairs will suffer misfortune; or they will be punished and executed, and the time for such an event is one year. The two Ping Stars are located to the north of Kulu, representing officials who administer justice fairly. When this star is invaded, the calamity will fall upon those in power who enforce the law.

甘氏曰：“填星犯守騎官，有兵起，馬多發；若多死。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn invades and remains in the stars of 'Qi Guan', it indicates the outbreak of military affairs and the large conscription of horses; or the massive death of horses. The two十七 stars of Qi Guan are located to the south of Di Xu, symbolizing the imperial cavalry guards. Therefore, the implications of this phenomenon are entirely related to military horses.

石氏曰：“填星入積卒，若守之，兵大起，士卒大行；若多死，期二年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth enters the 'Accumulated Soldiers' star region, or stays there, it indicates great military calamities, with large-scale troop movements; or many soldiers dying, and this will occur within two years. The 'Accumulated Soldiers' consists of twelve stars located to the south of the Room Mansion, symbolizing the gathering of soldiers. When the earth planet is present there, military conscription and casualties will follow one after another.

《海中占》曰：“填星犯守龜星，天下有水旱之災；守陽，則旱；守陰，則水。”

The Sea of Divination says: When the planet of earth occupies and stays at the star of turtle, there will be drought and flood in the world; if it stays at the southern position of the turtle star, it indicates drought; if it stays at the northern position, it indicates flood. The turtle is an object used for divination to communicate with spirits, and its star is located south of the Tail mansion. Therefore, the prediction of this star falls exactly on the two extremes of water and drought in the heavenly conditions.

石氏曰：“填星犯守傅說，王者宗廟廢五祀，後宮凶；一曰有絕嗣君，期不出二年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth invades and stays at the star of Fu Yue, it indicates the royal ancestral temple will be neglected, the five shrines will not be maintained, and there will be misfortunes in the harem; another interpretation is that there will be a king who loses his descendants, and the fulfillment of this omen will not be beyond two years. Fu Yue was originally a virtuous minister obtained by King Wu Ding of the Yin dynasty. It is said that after his death, he was reborn as a star attached to the Tail mansion. This star governs descendants and worship, so its change should be manifested in the ancestral temple and succession.

石氏曰：“填星犯守魚星，凶。”甘氏曰：“填星守魚星之陽，為人旱，魚行人道；守陰，為大水，魚鹽貴。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth occupies and stays at the position of the fish star, it indicates calamity. Gan De says: When the planet of earth stays at the southern yang position of the fish star, it indicates a great drought on earth, with water drying up so much that fish swim on the roads people walk; when it stays at the northern yin position of the fish star, it indicates a great flood, with the prices of fish and salt rising sharply. The fish star is located after the Tail mansion and in the middle of the Milky Way, representing the image of aquatic creatures, so it specifically governs drought and flood.

《荊州占》曰：“填星入杵星，若守之，天下有急發米之事，不出其年。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet of Earth enters the star of the pestle, or stays upon it, there will be urgent transfers of grain throughout the country, but this will not be verified in the current year. The pestle and mortar are tools used for pounding grain, and the change of this star indicates the need for urgent movement of stored grain.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星守鱉星，為有白衣之會。”巫咸曰：“填星守鱉星，國有水旱之災；守陽，則旱；守陰，則水。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth stays on the star of tortoise, there will be a gathering of white-clothed people, which means there will be funerals. Wu Xian says: When the planet of earth stays on the star of tortoise, there will be drought and flood in the country. If it stays on the southern side of the star, it indicates drought; if it stays on the northern side, it indicates flood. The star of tortoise is located south of the star of the Dipper, and it belongs to the same category as the star of turtle, both being aquatic creatures of the shell class. Therefore, its divination also covers both drought and flood.

石氏曰：“填星守九坎，天下旱，河水不流，五穀不登，人民大飢；一曰之陽大旱，之陰有水。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Saturn stays at the Nine Pits stars, there will be a great drought across the land, rivers will dry up, crops will be poor, and the people will suffer from severe famine. Another view is that when Saturn moves to the yang position of the Nine Pits, it indicates a great drought, but when it moves to the yin position, it indicates flooding. The Nine Pits are located south of the Ox mansion, symbolizing water storage in ditches and channels. In the Eight Trigrams, Kan represents water. When this star is guarded by Saturn, it signifies the conflict between water and earth, leading to imbalance between drought and flood.

郗萌曰：“填星守敗臼，民不安其室，憂失其釜甑；若流移去其鄉。”

Xi Meng said: The planet Saturn is stationed at the 'Bai Jiu' star, causing the people to be unable to reside in their own homes, worrying about losing cooking utensils such as pots, cauldrons, and steamers. Even more so, people are forced to wander and leave their homeland. The 'jiu' is a tool for pounding rice, and when it is broken, there is no way to prepare food, so this omen points directly to the people's suffering from hunger and forced migration.

郗萌曰：“填星入羽林，為叛臣中兵也。”《海中占》曰：“填星入守羽林，有兵起；若逆行變色，成勾巳，天下大兵，關梁不通，不出其年。”石氏曰：“填星人天軍，以喪兵起。”郗萌曰：“填星犯守天軍，為兵起，有破軍死將。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet Saturn enters the "Yu Lin" stars, there will be a traitorous minister causing chaos within the imperial guards. The "Hai Zhong Zhan" said: When Saturn enters and stays in Yu Lin, military affairs will arise; if it retrogrades and changes color, moving in a winding path forming the shape of "Gou Si", then there will be great turmoil with warfare, and roads and bridges will be blocked. This will not be verified in the same year. The Shi school said: When Saturn enters "Tian Jun", it indicates military action arising from mourning. Xi Meng said: When Saturn invades and stays on Tian Jun, it indicates the outbreak of military disaster, with the army collapsing and generals dying. The forty-five stars of Yu Lin are located south of Ying Shi, representing the imperial guards of the Son of Heaven, so any change in these stars must relate to military affairs.

石氏曰：“填星守北落師門，為兵起。”又占曰：“填星與北落師門相貫牴觸，光芒相及，有兵大戰，破軍殺將，伏尸流血，不可當也；期百八十日，若一年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth stays at the position of "Beiluoshimen," it indicates the outbreak of military affairs. Another divination says: When the planet of earth and Beiluoshimen intersect and clash, their lights touch each other, indicating a great battle, the defeat of armies, the death of generals, widespread corpses, and rivers of blood, with a powerful and unstoppable momentum. The predicted time is one hundred and eighty days or one year. Beiluoshimen is the main gate of the heavenly military camp; when this gate is violated, the military omen becomes extremely fierce.

《海中占》曰：“填星守土司空，其國以土起兵；若有土功之事，天下旱。”

The "Sea Divination" says: When the planet Saturn stays at the "Earth Official" star, the country corresponding to that star will have military conflicts over land; or there will be large construction projects, leading to drought across the land. The Earth Official governs territory and construction, and Saturn itself presides over earthworks. Since both are of the same nature, there will be construction activities and drought.

《黃帝占》：“填星入天倉戶中，主財寶出；君憂臣在內；天下有兵，而倉庫之戶俱開；主人勝，客事不成；期二十日中而發。”《荊州占》曰：“填星守天倉，天下飢粟出。”

The Huangdi Zhàn says: When the planet of earth enters the gate of Tiancang, it indicates the outflow of wealth and treasures; the sovereign will be anxious, while ministers will hold power within the court; there will be military conflicts across the land, and the gates of granaries and storehouses will all be opened; the defending side will achieve victory, while the attacking side will fail to accomplish their plans; the event will occur within twenty days. The Jingzhou Zhàn says: When the planet of earth stays over Tiancang, the whole country will suffer from famine, and the granaries will have to be opened to distribute grain. The six stars of Tiancang are located south of Lousu, representing a place for storing grain. When the planet of earth approaches them, it indicates the fluctuation of grain reserves and the inflow and outflow of stored grain.

石氏曰：“填星入天囷，天下兵起，囷倉儲積之物皆發用；一曰御物多有出者，庫倉空；期二年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Saturn enters the Heavenly Granary, there will be military campaigns throughout the land, and all the stored provisions in the granaries will be mobilized and used up. Another interpretation is that many items intended for the imperial court will be dispersed, leaving the treasuries and granaries completely empty. This should occur within two years. The thirteen stars of the Heavenly Granary lie to the south of the Stomach mansion, symbolizing a circular granary, similar to the Heavenly Granary but governing a different aspect, hence this image also indicates the depletion of stored resources.

石氏曰：“填星守天廩，天下大亂。”又占曰：“填星入守天廩，天下有兵，歲大飢，倉粟散；不出其年。”又占曰：“填星犯守天廩，天下亂，粟散，不出年。”

The Shi school said: When the planet Saturn stays at Tian Lin, there will be great chaos throughout the land. Another divination text says: When Saturn enters and stays at Tian Lin, there will be warfare in the land, a great famine, and the grain stored in granaries will be completely distributed away; however, this prophecy did not come true in the same year. Another divination text says: When Saturn invades and stays at Tian Lin, there will be great chaos throughout the land, and the grain will be completely exhausted, and the outcome will be known without waiting for the same year. The four stars of Tian Lin are located south of Mao Xu, and they are in charge of storing grain for defense. Once they are occupied by Saturn for a long time, the stored grain will be lost.

石氏曰：“填星入守天苑，牛羊禽獸多疾疫；若守之二十日，天下兵起，馬多死，其國憂。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Saturn enters and stays in the mansion of Tian Yuan, cattle, sheep, and wild animals will suffer from many diseases. If it stays for twenty days, there will be military campaigns throughout the land, and many horses will die. The region corresponding to this mansion will be troubled. The mansion of Tian Yuan, consisting of sixteen stars, lies to the south of the mansions of Maosu and BiSu, symbolizing a royal hunting ground for sacrificial animals and cattle. Therefore, when it is afflicted, it particularly affects diseases and deaths among the six domesticated animals.

《海中占》曰：“填星守參旗，兵大起，弓弩用，士將出行；一曰弓矢貴。”

The Sea of Divination says: When the planet Saturn stays on the stars of "Cen Qi," military calamities will arise, bows and arrows will be put into use, and soldiers and generals will go out to campaign. Another interpretation is that the price of bows and arrows will become very high. The nine stars of Cen Qi are located west of Cen Hostel, also called Tian Qi and Tian Gong, which presage the use of bows and arrows. Therefore, any change in these stars will relate to military equipment and warfare.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星入玉井，強國失地，其出之，強國得地。”巫咸曰：“填星入玉井，國有水憂；若以水為敗，水物不成，期不出年。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth enters the 'Jade Well,' a powerful state will lose its territory; when the planet of earth leaves the Jade Well, a powerful state will gain territory. The four stars of Jade Well are located beneath the left foot of the Three Stars mansion, symbolizing a well for drawing water, so this omen also governs the gain and loss of territory and the success or failure of water-related affairs.

甘氏曰：“填星入屏，諸侯有謀，若大臣有戰死者；一為疫。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn enters the "Screen Star," it indicates that the feudal lords may have secret plots, or that a minister might die in battle. Another interpretation is that an epidemic will occur. The Screen Star here is located to the south of Yu Jing, and although it shares the same name as the Screen Star within the Taiwei constellation, it is in a different position. It symbolizes concealment and obstruction. When Saturn enters this area, it signifies hidden conspiracies and the secret spread of epidemic diseases.

《黃帝占》曰：“填星守天廁，為大臣有戮。”

The Huangdi Zhan says: When the planet of Earth remains at the star Tian Ce, it indicates that ministers will be executed. The four stars of Tian Ce are located east of the star Ping, and they are originally places of filth and corruption. The esteemed officials meeting with the lowly stars signify that ministers will suffer disgrace and punishment.

石氏曰：“填星入守軍市，兵大起，將軍出；若以飢兵起。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of earth enters and stays in the 'military market', great military calamities will arise, and generals will go to war; or else, military unrest will be caused by famine. The military market consists of thirteen stars located in the southeast of the Three Stars mansion, which is the place for military trade. If this star changes, the military supplies and grain will be affected.

甘氏曰：“填星入軍市，犯守野雞，其國凶；必有死將，軍營敗，兵士散走。”

Gan De said: When the planet Saturn enters the Military Market and then invades and stays in the 'Rooster' star, the region corresponding to that star will experience calamity; there will certainly be the death of generals, the collapse of military camps, and soldiers scattering in all directions. The Rooster star is located within the Military Market and represents the poultry kept in the military. This star is inherently associated with portents and omens, so when it is afflicted, the consequences are particularly severe.

石氏曰：“填星守狼星，野獸死。”《荊州占》曰：“填星守犯狼星，大將出行，其國有兵；一曰有死將。”

The Shi school says: The planet of earth stays at the position of the Wolf Star, and many wild animals will die. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the planet of earth stays and invades the Wolf Star, it indicates a general will lead an expedition, and the territory corresponding to this star will have military conflicts; another interpretation is that a general will die in battle. The Wolf Star is located in the southeast of the Well Mansion, appears white with a sharp angle, and is the general star that presages invasion. Therefore, this omen corresponds to both hunting and warfare.

《荊州占》曰：“填星犯乘守四輔星；君臣失禮，輔臣有誅者。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet of Earth invades, overshadows, and remains on the 'Four Ministers' stars, it indicates that the relationship between sovereign and ministers has lost proper decorum, and there will be a minister who is executed. The Four Ministers are four stars that flank the Northern Pole Star, symbolizing the great ministers who support the supreme ruler. 《荊州占》曰：“填星守酒族，天下大酺，有酒肉財物賜若爵宗室。”

The book "Jingzhou Divination" states: When the planet Saturn remains stationed at the star "Jiuqi" (originally written as "Jiu Zhu"), the whole world will have a great feast and gathering for drinking. The court will bestow wine, meat, and goods, or grant additional titles to the royal family. The three stars of Jiuqi are located south of the right angle of Xuan Yuan, indicating ceremonies of feasting and drinking. Since Saturn remains stationed there for a long time, this portends a universal celebration and rewards to the royal relatives.

《荊州占》曰：“填星守天高，有大赦。”

As to where this occurs, it should be determined according to the direction in which it enters, dividing the east, west, south, north, and center. Xi Meng says: When the planet of earth deviates from its normal course and remains stagnant within the Heavenly River, it indicates the ruler suffering harm from water or from a well, and the specific country affected should be determined according to the day it enters. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet of earth directly confronts, overshadows, and remains fixed upon the Heavenly River, the predicted time is twenty days, and at that time, military uprisings will occur. The five stars of the Heavenly River are located within the Five Carriages, symbolizing a ferry crossing, so changes in this star are associated with both water-related events and the transportation of grain by water.
