Daling's eight stars are located to the north of the Stomach mansion, symbolizing tombs and accumulated corpses. Among them, there is another star called Accumulated Corpse, so this place specifically indicates death and mourning.

郗萌曰：“歲星守天船，皆革也。”《聖洽符》曰：“歲星入守天船，兵大起，舟船用，有亡國，期不出年。”

Therefore, any change will manifest in naval warfare and grain transport.

Xi Meng says: When the planet Jupiter enters the Five Carriages and approaches it closely, the price of rice will reach three hundred coins per stone; when it is right at its gate, the price will reach five hundred coins per stone; when it enters the center, the price will reach one thousand coins per stone. The five stars of the Five Carriages are located in the Net mansion to the northeast, indicating the emperor's chariots. Among them, the granary and storehouse stars indicate grain and military supplies.
《荊州占》曰：“歲星入五車庫，天下兵起：一曰若有水。”《孝經右秘》曰：“歲星入五車，王義絕，亂帝家。”石氏曰：“歲星中犯乘五車，若入天庫，以飢起兵。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星入五車中，犯乘守天庫星，水飢兵起。”
The book Zhongzhou Zhan says: When the year star enters the warehouse star among the Five Carriages, there will be military campaigns throughout the land; another interpretation says there will be water disasters. The Xiao Jing You Mi says: When the year star enters the Five Carriages, the emperor will lose righteousness and disrupt the royal court. The Shi school says: When the year star invades and occupies the Five Carriages from the center, or enters the heavenly warehouse star, there will be military actions due to famine. Zhongzhou Zhan says: When the year star enters the Five Carriages and invades, occupies, and holds the heavenly warehouse star, floods, famine, and warfare will all occur together.

Xi Meng said: When the star of years stays in the celestial gate, many noblemen will die. The "Sea Divination" said: When the star of years stays and invades the celestial gate, roads will be cut off, and the whole world will be suspicious of each other; there will be edicts to close the passes and borders. The celestial gate is the celestial gate, located between the Net mansion and the Well mansion, and it is the gateway through which the sun, moon, and five stars pass. It governs the opening and closing of the passes and borders.

The original book's marginal notes cite the "Book of Song, Annals of Astronomy" which says: In the first year of Jianyuan of Emperor Kang of the Jin dynasty, the planet Jupiter invaded the celestial gate. General Yu Yi wrote a letter to his elder brother Yu Bing (the original text says "elder brother Shui," where "Shui" is a corrupted form of "Bing") saying: When Jupiter invades the celestial gate, the divination text says that roads and passes should be blocked; recently, there have been no other disturbances in the Eastern Jiang region, so the Yangtze River waterway is not dangerous. Instead, the Shi dynasty in the north (the original text says "Shi Tang," with a corrupted character) has been closing its borders for several years. The borders are completely sealed, and even messengers cannot pass through. This is considered heaven's confusion, as the omen cannot distinguish between good and bad. The Shi dynasty said: When Jupiter stays at the celestial gate, there will be flooding in that year, leading to famine, with people selling themselves to survive. Xi Meng said: Jupiter's movement does not follow the usual path of the celestial gate; within this year, there will be warfare.

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When Jupiter invades or occupies the southern river and the constellation Wu, or emerges from the south of the southern river, the verification will fall in the Central Plains. The Shi school says: When Jupiter stays in the southern river, the barbarians will raise armies, and the border soldiers will suffer misfortunes; or there will be drought and the people will suffer from hunger. Xi Meng says: When Jupiter stays in the star Tian Gao, the whole country will be pardoned; when Jupiter moves retrograde in the star Tian Gao, the ruler will not be sufficiently respectful in his fasting. The southern river and the northern river each have three stars, arranged north and south of the eastern well mansion, serving as the heavenly gate, governing defense of the borders.
《黃帝占》曰：“歲星若留止守南河戍，為百姓疾病；一曰為旱。歲星行南河戍中，若留止南河戍，皆為喪。歲星出北河，若乘北河戍，為女喪。”《黃帝占》曰：“歲星乘北河戍，若出北河戍北，外國王死。”
The Huangdi Zhan says: If the star of years stays at the southern river戍, it indicates that the people will fall ill; another interpretation says it indicates drought. If the star of years passes through the middle of the southern river戍 or stays there, it indicates mourning. If the star of years comes out from the northern river or overshadows the northern river戍, it indicates the death of a woman. The Huangdi Zhan also says: If the star of years overshadows the northern river戍 or comes out from the northern side of the northern river戍, the king of a foreign state will die. The southern and northern rivers are located to the south and north respectively, enclosing the eastern well mansion. Therefore, although it is the same star of years, depending on the direction it enters or exits, the outcome is different, and it is associated with the people, women, and the king of a foreign state.
《玄冥占》曰：“歲星守北河，朔方兵動：若守之三十日不下，北兵敗：若北主死，天下大水，人民飢，期不出二年。”巫咸曰；“歲星守北河，大臣有憂，若邊臣有罪，若有戮死者。”郗萌曰：“歲星經南河之南，刑法復暴，誅伐不當：經北戍之北，以女子、金錢、貪色、奢侈、失治道；近期三年，中期六年，遠期九年，而災至。”
The book Xuanming Zhan says: When the planet Jupiter stays over the Northern River, there will be military movements in the northern region. If it remains for thirty days without departing, the northern army will suffer defeat; or the ruler of the north will die, and there will be great floods, famine among the people, and these calamities will occur within two years. Wu Xian says: When the planet Jupiter stays over the Northern River, there will be worries among the ministers, or the border generals will be guilty of crimes, or there will be executions. Xi Meng says: When the planet Jupiter passes through south of the Southern River, the punishments will become more severe, and there will be unjust killings and wars. When it passes through north of the Northern River, the state will lose its way of governance due to lust, money, greed, and extravagance. The calamities will arrive within three years, or six years, or nine years.
《黃帝占》曰：“歲星出北河戍間，若留守北，若居南戍間，若守兩間，為天下有難，起道不通。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星守兩河間，天下乖離，道路不通。”郗萌曰：“歲星有不行入天闋間，為喪。”
The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet Jupiter emerges from between the northern river and the戌, or stays and guards the northern side, or resides between the southern戌, or guards the middle between the northern and southern rivers, it indicates that the world will face difficulties and roads will be blocked and unpassable. The Jingzhou Divination says: When Jupiter stays between the northern and southern rivers, the world will experience discord and dispersion, and roads will be cut off. Xi Meng says: When Jupiter does not follow its usual path but enters the heavenly gate area, it presages mourning and loss.
The planet Jupiter (Su Xing) invades the five feudal lords (Wu Hou Zhu), a total of thirty-nine times.
石氏曰：“歲星犯五諸侯，若守之，兵大將，將七出，諸侯有憂，若有死者，”巫咸日：“歲星入五諸侯，伺其出日而數之，若二十日，兵發；伺始入處之率，一日期十日，軍罷。”
The Shi school says: When the star of years invades the five feudal princes, or stays there, there will be military campaigns and appointments of generals; generals will repeatedly go to war. The feudal princes will have troubles, or someone will die. Wu Xian says: When the star of years enters the five feudal princes, starting from the day it leaves, if it takes twenty days, military actions will occur; another calculation, based on its original position of entry, suggests the time will be ten days, and the army will disband. The five feudal princes, represented by the five stars, are located north of the Well mansion, symbolizing the enfeoffment and ranking of the feudal princes.
《玄冥占》曰：“歲星守北諸侯，臣有謀主者；若議臣不忠，若有罪黜．，期一年。”石氏日：“歲星中犯乘守五諸侯，兵死，期三年。”郗萌曰：“歲星中犯乘守五諸侯，為所中乘守者誅，若有殃，期三年，兵發。”
The Xuanming Divination says: When the planet Jupiter is stationed at the northern feudal star, there will be ministers plotting against the sovereign; or there will be unfaithful ministers in deliberation; or there will be officials who have committed offenses and are demoted. The fulfillment of this omen is within one year. The Shi school says: When Jupiter moves directly to attack, overpowers, and occupies the five feudal stars, it indicates that someone will die in military affairs. The fulfillment of this omen is within three years. Xi Meng says: When Jupiter moves directly to attack, overpowers, and occupies the five feudal stars, the one who is attacked, overpowered, or occupied will be executed or suffer calamity. The fulfillment of this omen is within three years, with military action occurring.
The planet Jupiter is said to be in the position of accumulated water for forty years.
巫咸曰：“歲星犯守積水，其國有水災，物不成，魚鹽貴：一曰以水為敗，糴大貴，人民飢，期二年。”
Wu Xian said: When the planet of years invades and stays in the accumulation of water, the country will suffer from floods, crops will not grow, and the prices of fish and salt will rise; another view is that the failure is caused by water, leading to a surge in rice prices and people starving, and this will happen within two years. The accumulation of water star is located in the northwest of the northern river, which is in charge of storing water for brewing and sacrifices, so when it is violated, it specifically indicates water disasters and the fluctuation in prices of fish and salt.
The planet Jupiter is said to be in the position of accumulated firewood, which is forty-one.
甘氏曰：“歲星守積薪，天下大旱，五穀不登，人民飢亡。”
The Gan school says: When the star of the year is stationed at the accumulation of firewood, there will be a great drought across the land, leading to poor harvests of grain and the death of people from famine. The accumulation of firewood star is located east of the accumulation of water, which governs the firewood used for cooking in the kitchen, and together with the accumulation of water, it forms a contrast of water and fire. Therefore, when this star is disturbed, the effect should be on drought.

郗萌曰：“歲星犯水位，大水：一曰出其南，大旱。”石氏曰：“歲星犯守水位，天下以水為害，津關不通；一曰大水入城郭，傷人民，皆不出其年。”
Xi Meng said: The planet Jupiter invading the water position indicates a great flood; another view is that it emerging from the southern side of the water position indicates a great drought. The Shi school said: When Jupiter invades and stays in the water position, the whole country will suffer from water disasters, and ferry crossings and checkpoints will be blocked; another view is that great floods will flood the city walls and harm the people, and these will all be fulfilled within the same year. The four stars of the water position are located east of the Well mansion, indicating matters concerning water balance and rivers, canals, and ditches.

郗萌曰：“歲星出東陵，有青龍出左右，若宮中者。”石氏曰：“歲星在軒轅中，有以女子請人君者。”《黃帝占》曰：“歲星行軒轅中，犯女主，女主失勢，（失勢者，憂喪也。）列大夫有放逐者，五官有不治者，色悴為憂，為疾，其所中犯乘守者，誅：若有罪。歲星中犯女主者，皆為女主當之，其守犯女主，女主有憂。”
Xi Meng said: The planet Jupiter emerges from the eastern encampment, with the aura of the Azure Dragon appearing on its left and right, or within the palace. The Shi school said: When Jupiter is located in the middle of Xuanyan, there will be people who use women to request favors from the sovereign. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When Jupiter passes through Xuanyan, it invades the star of the female ruler, causing the female ruler to lose power (note: losing power refers to suffering misfortune and calamity); among the ministers, some will be exiled, and among the five officials, some will be incompetent; a pale and withered star color indicates misfortune and illness; whoever is directly invaded, overpowered, or occupied by Jupiter will be executed or punished. If Jupiter invades the female ruler's star from the center, the female ruler will bear the consequences; if Jupiter occupies and invades the female ruler's star, the female ruler will suffer misfortune. The seventeen stars of Xuanyan lie north of the seven stars, forming the body of the Yellow Dragon, governing the position of the empress.
（案《宋書天文志》曰：宋元嘉十四年七月辛卯，歲星入軒轅，其後皇后袁氏崩。）《荊州占》曰：“歲星守軒轅，女后有以子諍者。”巫咸曰：“歲星行犯守軒轅，女主失政，若失勢：一日大臣當之，若有黜者，期二年。”
The original book's marginal notes cite the "Book of Song, Annals of Astronomy" which says: In the fourteenth year of Yuanjia during the Song dynasty, in the seventh month on the Xinmao day, the planet Jupiter entered the region of Xuanyan, and afterwards the queen dowager Yuan died. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When Jupiter guards Xuanyan, the queen will quarrel with others over matters concerning her son. Wu Xian says: When Jupiter passes through, invades, and stays in Xuanyan, the female ruler will lose her power to govern, or lose her influence; another interpretation suggests the calamity will fall upon a minister, or someone will be demoted; the predicted time is two years.
《玉曆》曰：“歲星犯守軒轅，女主有憂，其君失政，威令不行，後宮不安，期一年。”（司馬彪《天文志》曰：考桓延熹七年八月庚申。歲星犯軒轅大星，八年二月癸亥，皇后鄧氏坐執左道，廢，遷於祠宮，死。）
The Yulu says: The star of years invades and stays at Xuanyuan, and a female ruler will have troubles. The ruler loses control of government, his commands cannot be carried out, the palace becomes unstable, and this will happen within a year. The original book's marginal note cites Sima Biao's "Astronomical Records": In the seventh year of Huan Di's Yanzhi period, August Gengshen, the star of years invaded the great star of Xuanyuan; in the second month of the eighth year, Guihai, the queen dowager Deng was accused of practicing witchcraft and sorcery, was disgraced, exiled to a temple palace, and later died.
石氏曰：“歲星入軒轅中，犯乘守之，有逆賊，有火災。歲星犯乘守軒轅太民星，大飢，大流，太后宗有誅者，若有罪；中犯乘守少民星，小飢，小流，皇后宗有誅者，若有罪。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星中犯乘守軒轅左右角，皆為大臣當之。”
The Shi school says: When the star of years enters the middle of Xuanyuan and invades, overpowers, and stays there, there will be rebels and fires. If the star of years invades, overpowers, and stays on the Tai Min star of Xuanyuan, it indicates a great famine and a large number of people fleeing, with the太后's family being punished or guilty. If it invades, overpowers, and stays on the Xiao Min star of Xuanyuan, it indicates a small famine and a small number of people fleeing, with the queen's family being punished or guilty. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: If the star of years invades, overpowers, and stays on the left and right angles of Xuanyuan, the disaster will be borne by the ministers.
