《荊州占》曰：“辰星犯女床，凶。”甘氏曰：“犯守女床，兵起宮中，若后妃有暴誅者，期百八十日，遠一年。”

The three stars of Nu床 are located to the northeast of Tian Ji star, indicating matters related to palace concubines. The "Jingzhou Divination" states that if the water star invades Nu床, it portends misfortune. Gan De says that if the water star invades and occupies Nu床, it indicates military actions originating from the palace or the sudden execution of a concubine or empress, with the fulfillment of the prophecy occurring within 180 days, or up to a year.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星守七公，為飢；民居不安。”石氏曰：“犯守七公，輔臣有謀議，臣相疑，若人主有憂。”

Seven officials and the seven stars are located east of Zhao Yao, symbolizing the positions of the Three Grand Ministers who assist the Son of Heaven. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: if the water star occupies the Seven Officials, it indicates famine; the people cannot live in peace. Shi Shen says: if the star invades and occupies the Seven Officials, it signifies that the ministers assisting the government have other intentions and discussions, ministers suspect each other, or the sovereign faces troubles.

《荊州占》曰：“辰星入天牢，天下有賊；又曰水，期一年；一曰旱，期一年；又曰歲飢，人相食；一曰大赦，期百二十日。”巫咸曰：“犯守貫索，天下兵大起，多有獄事，貴人有死者。”石氏曰：“入天牢中，犯乘守者，以獄多為亂，不出年。”

The nine stars of the chain called "Guan Suo" are arranged like a rope, also known as "Heavenly Prison," which signifies prisons and imprisonment. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: when the water star enters Heavenly Prison, there will be bandits in the country; it also indicates water disasters, occurring within a year; another interpretation says it indicates drought, also occurring within a year; another says it indicates a poor harvest, leading to cannibalism; another says it indicates a great amnesty, occurring within 120 days. Wu Xian says: offending and staying in Guan Suo indicates great military conflicts and many lawsuits, with death among the noblemen. Shi Shen says: entering Heavenly Prison, offending, pressing down upon, or staying above it, indicates chaos caused by too many prison cases, occurring within the same year.

《文曜鉤》曰：“辰星犯守天紀，倖臣執權，有兵，王者有憂。”

The Nine Stars of Heaven's Mandate are located east of the Chain, governing laws and order, and adjudicating disputes. The Wen Yao Gou states: When the water star encroaches upon and occupies the Mandate of Heaven, it indicates that favored ministers will seize power, there will be military actions, and the sovereign will face troubles.

石氏曰：“辰星入天市，大臣有誅。”郗萌曰：“辰星入天市中，皆為將相凶；一曰五官有憂；一曰赦；又曰辰星入若守天市，蠻夷之君戮；又曰為驚；一曰更市。”

The Twenty-two stars of the Heavenly Market Enclosure are arranged in a line like a wall, representing a heavenly city, which governs the measurement of standards and the gathering and trade of people. Shi Shen said: When the planet Mercury enters the Heavenly Market, it indicates that ministers will be executed. Xi Meng said: When Mercury enters the Heavenly Market, the sovereign's ministers will suffer misfortune; another interpretation says that the heads of the five officials will have worries; another says that there will be a great amnesty; also, it says that if Mercury enters or stays in the Heavenly Market, the king of the barbarians will be killed; another interpretation says that there will be disturbances; another says that the market will be changed.

石氏曰：“辰星犯帝座，為臣謀主，有逆亂事。”《玄冥占》曰：“為臣謀主，天下亂兵大起，不出年。”

The star known as Dizuo is located within the Tianshi垣, representing the throne of the heavenly emperor and symbolizing the human sovereign. Shi Shen said: If the water star approaches Dizuo, it indicates that ministers may plot against the sovereign, leading to rebellion and disorder. The Xuanming Zhàn states: This portends ministers plotting against the sovereign, with widespread military chaos, but the fulfillment of this omen will not occur within the same year.

《海中占》曰：“辰星犯守候星，陰陽不和，五穀傷，人民大飢，有兵起。”

A single star called Hou Xing is located to the northeast of Di Zuo, and it is a heavenly official responsible for observing and monitoring. It oversees the balance of yin and yang and watches for changes in the seasons. The book Hai Zhong Zhan says: When the water star encroaches upon and occupies Hou Xing, it indicates an imbalance of yin and yang, damage to the five grains, widespread famine among the people, and the outbreak of military conflicts.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯宦者，輔臣有誅；若戮死，期不出年。”

Four officials in the southwest of the throne are heavenly stars representing attendants who serve the sovereign. Gan De said: If the planet Mercury encroaches upon the officials, it indicates that the minister assisting in government will be executed; or if killed, the prediction will not come true within the same year.

石氏曰：“辰星犯守宗正，左右群臣多死；若更政令，人主有憂。”

The two stars of Zongzheng are located southeast of the Imperial Seat, representing officials in heaven who oversee matters concerning the royal family. Shi Shen said: if the planet Mercury encroaches upon and occupies Zongzheng, it indicates that many ministers close to the monarch will die; or that there will be changes in the policies, leading to the monarch's worries.

石氏曰：“辰星犯宗人，親族貴人有憂，若有死者；一曰人主親宗有離絕者。”

The four stars of the clan are located east of the Minister of the Imperial Clan, governing the rituals and ranks of the imperial family relatives. Shi Shen said: if the water star interferes with the clan, it indicates that there will be misfortune or death among the noblemen within the family relatives; another interpretation suggests that there will be separation or breakage among the royal relatives of the imperial clan.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯宗星，宗室之人，有分離者。”

The two stars of Zongxing are located east of the waiting stars, representing descendants of the royal family. Gan De said: If the planet of water offends the star of Zongxing, it indicates that there will be separation and dispersion among the royal family members.

石氏曰：“辰星犯東西咸，為臣不從令，有陰謀。”

East and West Xian each consist of four stars, positioned above the Fang Su. They are the gatekeepers preventing indulgence and licentiousness, governing palace regulations. Shi Shen said: If the water star approaches East and West Xian, it indicates that ministers will not obey orders and will conspire secretly.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星入天江，大水決城郭。”陳卓曰：“暴水為害，不出其年。”巫咸曰：“犯守天江，天下有水；若入之，大水齊城郭，人民飢，去其鄉。”

Four stars of the Heavenly River are located north of the Tail mansion, representing the heavenly river, and they govern water-related affairs. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: when the water star enters the Heavenly River, it indicates a great flood that will breach city walls. Chen Zhuo says: it signifies a sudden flood causing disaster, and the predicted time will not be beyond the current year. Wu Xian says: if the star violates and occupies the Heavenly River, it indicates water disasters throughout the world; if it enters the Heavenly River, it means a great flood reaching the level of city walls, leading to famine and people leaving their homes to flee.

陳卓曰：“辰星犯建星，大臣相譖。”《百十二占》曰：“辰星出建星，中國有水旱，五穀不成，人民飢，不出年。”郗萌曰：“守建星，地氣洩，貴人多死；一曰臣謀其主。”《荊州占》曰：“犯建星，歲水，人飢，有自賣者。”

The six stars of Jian are located north of Nandou, and they are the heavenly gate, governing banners and strategies. Chen Zhuo said: If the water star invades the Jian star, it indicates ministers conspiring to slander and falsely accuse each other. The "One Hundred and Twelve Divinations" said: If the water star appears from the Jian star, it indicates water and drought disasters in the Central Plains, poor harvests of grain, and people suffering from hunger, with the predicted outcome not occurring in the current year. Xi Meng said: If the Jian star is guarded, it indicates the earth's energy leaking out, and many noblemen will die; another interpretation suggests that ministers plot against the king. The "Jingzhou Divination" said: If the water star invades the Jian star, it indicates flooding in the current year, people suffering from hunger, and some people selling themselves to survive.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯天弁，若守之，則囚徒起兵；一曰五穀不成，糴大貴，人民飢。”

The Nine Stars of Tian Bian are located north of Jian Star, representing the chief official of the heavenly market, in charge of market trade. Gan De said: if the planet Water approaches or stays near Tian Bian, it indicates prisoners may rise up in rebellion; another interpretation suggests that crops will not mature properly, grain prices will soar, and the people will suffer from hunger.

齊伯曰：“辰星犯河鼓，大將若左右將，將有誅；若守之，將有罪，以五色占之。”甘氏曰：“辰星入河鼓，大將出用兵。”

The three stars of He Gu are located north of Qian Niu. The central star represents the supreme general, while the two stars on either side represent the left and right generals, governing military drums and military campaigns. Qi Bo said: If the planet Water invades He Gu, it indicates that one of the supreme general or the left and right generals may be executed. If Water remains stationed above it, it suggests that the generals will be punished, and their fate can be predicted by the five colors of the star. 石氏曰：“辰星犯離珠，宮中有事，若有亂宮者；若宮人有罪黜者。”

The planet Venus is located north of the constellation Xunnu, symbolizing the jewels and treasures worn by the concubines in the imperial palace. Shi Shen said: If the planet Venus interferes with the star Li Zhu, it indicates there will be disturbances within the palace, or someone who disrupts the inner court; or there may be palace attendants who are punished and demoted.

辰星犯匏瓜三十日，狗夜嗥，雞鳴；天下盡驚。”《聖洽符》曰：“犯守匏瓜，天下有憂，若有遊兵，名果貴；一曰魚鹽貴十倍，不出其年。”

The five stars of the gourd (Pao Gua) are located north of the fire star (Li Zhu), governing the imperial harem and also fruits and vegetables. If the water star (Kong Ming) invades and stays near the gourd stars for thirty days, it indicates that dogs will howl at night and chickens will crow disorderly, causing fear among all people. The "Divination of Divine Harmony and Auspicious Signs" states that if the water star invades and stays near the gourd stars, it signifies troubles in the world, or the movement of troops, with expensive rare fruits; another interpretation suggests that the prices of fish and salt will rise tenfold, but the predicted time will not occur in the same year.

《海中占》曰：“辰星犯天津，關道不通，有兵起，若關吏有憂。”郗萌曰：“守天津，兵革起。”

The nine stars of Tianjin span across the Milky Way, serving as a celestial bridge and passage for travel in all directions. The book "Sea Divination" states that when the planet Mercury offends Tianjin, it indicates that border passes and roads will be blocked, military conflicts will arise, or officials guarding the passes will face troubles. Xi Meng says that holding Tianjin signifies the outbreak of military conflicts.

甘氏曰：“辰星守螣蛇，天子前驅凶；若奸臣有謀，前驅為害。”

The star group Tengshe consists of twenty-two stars located to the north of Yingshi, representing an image of celestial water creatures, symbolizing the vanguard of the Son of Heaven. Gan De said: if the planet Venus is stationed among Tengshe, it indicates that the vanguard of the Son of Heaven may encounter misfortune; or it may signify that a minister with ulterior motives has other plans, and the vanguard himself may become the source of calamity.

石氏曰：“辰星守王良，為有兵。”齊伯曰：“辰星犯守王良，天下有兵，諸侯相攻，強臣謀主，期不出年。”

Wang Liang is a group of five stars located north of the Kuixiu mansion. Wang Liang refers to an ancient expert in driving chariots, and these stars are associated with vehicles and chariots, as well as the chariots of the Son of Heaven. Shi Shen said: When the water star is stationed at Wang Liang, it indicates military affairs. Qi Bo said: When the water star invades and is stationed at Wang Liang, it signifies that there will be warfare throughout the realm, with the feudal lords attacking each other, ambitious ministers plotting against their sovereigns, and the predicted time will not occur within the same year.

石氏曰：“辰星犯閣道，絕漢者，為九州異政，各主其主，天下有兵，期二年。”

The six stars of Ge Dao are located north of Wang Liang, representing the path by which the Emperor travels from the Purple Micro Palace to other palaces, crossing the Milky Way. Shi Shen said: if the planet Venus encroaches upon Ge Dao and crosses the Milky Way, it indicates that the policies of the nine provinces will differ, each obeying its own ruler, and there will be warfare across the land, expected to last two years.

石氏曰：“辰星守附路，太僕有罪，若有誅；一曰馬多死，道無乘者。”

A star named Fu Lu is located to the south of Ge Dao, meaning it is beside the main path called Ge Dao. Shi Shen said: If the planet Water occupies Fu Lu, it indicates that the chief of carriages and horses will be punished or executed; another interpretation suggests that many horses will die, and there will be no riders on the roads.

郗萌曰：“辰星入天將軍，興軍者吉。”石氏曰：“守天將軍，為大將死，若誅。”

The Heavenly General consists of twelve stars located north of the Bond Mansion. The central star represents the general, while the surrounding smaller stars represent the officers and soldiers. Xi Meng said: When the water star enters the Heavenly General, it indicates that the side initiating military action will be auspicious. Shi Shen said: Holding the Heavenly General indicates the death of the general or his execution.

石氏曰：“辰星入大陵，國有大喪，大臣有誅，若戮死；人民死者大半，不出其年。”《荊州占》曰：“辰星入大陵、積尸，天下盡喪，死人如丘山；星眾，兵起；星稀、無兵。”

The eight stars of Daling are located to the north of the Stomach mansion, and they govern matters of tombs and burials. Among them, one is called "Ji Shi." Shi Shen said: if the planet Water enters Daling, it indicates a great mourning in the country, the execution of high officials, or the death of people by killing; more than half of the people will die, but the prediction will not come true within the same year. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: if the planet Water enters Daling and Ji Shi, it indicates that all over the world there will be mourning, with dead bodies piling up like mountains; if the stars in Ji Shi are densely clustered, it indicates war will break out; if they are sparse, there will be no warfare.

郗萌曰：“辰星守天船，革也。”《聖洽符》曰：“入天船或守之，兵大起，舟船用，有亡國，期不出年。”

The Nine Stars of Tian Chuan are located north of Da Ling, lying across the Milky Way, and they presage crossing water and sailing. Xi Meng said: When the Water Star occupies Tian Chuan, it indicates great changes in the world. The "Sheng Qia Fu" states: If one enters Tian Chuan or stays upon it, there will be great military conflicts, with a large number of ships being mobilized, and the possibility of a country's downfall, but the fulfillment of this prophecy will not occur within the same year.

石氏曰：“辰星乘捲舌，天下多喪；又曰守捲舌，國有佞臣謀其君，以口舌為害，人主有憂。”

The six stars of the Rolled Tongue are located north of the Hairy Head mansion, and they presage matters concerning speech and slander. Shi Shen said: when the water star obscures the Rolled Tongue, it indicates many losses throughout the country; he also said that if the Rolled Tongue is guarded, it signifies that there are treacherous ministers within the state plotting against the sovereign, using words to create discord and cause harm, leading the sovereign to face troubles.

石氏曰：“辰星犯五車，大旱，若有喪；一曰犯庫星，兵起北方，若西方；犯倉星，穀貴；若有水。”《元命包》曰：“入五車，則水開。”（班固《天文志》曰：大水。）《海中占》曰：“兵大起，車騎行，五穀不成，天下民飢，若軍絕糧。”《黃帝占》曰：“入五車中犯乘守天庫，以水潦起兵。”

Five chariots and five planets are located to the north of the Net mansion, representing the five types of military chariots of the Son of Heaven, and they also govern the granaries for grain storage. Among the star cluster, there are also stars such as the Heavenly Storehouse and Heavenly Granary. Shi Shen said: If the water star invades the five chariots, it indicates a great drought or mourning events; another interpretation says that if it invades the storehouse star, it signifies war starting in the north or west; if it invades the granary star, it indicates high grain prices or flooding. The Yuan Ming Bao said: If the stars enter the five chariots, the waterways will be open. (Original note: Ban Gu's Han Shu Tianwen Zhi said it signifies great flooding.) The Hai Zhong Zhan said: It indicates large-scale military movements, with chariots, horses, and cavalry being deployed, and the five grains not being ripe, leading to hunger among the people, or the army running out of supplies. The Huangdi Zhan said: If the stars enter the five chariots, invade, dominate, or occupy the Heavenly Storehouse star, it signifies war caused by flooding.

石氏曰：“辰星行天關中，每至抑揚，當去不去，徘徊亂行，光色隆怒，見其妖祥，中國隔絕，道路不通。”《文曜鉤》曰：“守天關，天下大水，津樑不通，人民飢，有自賣，期一年。”石氏曰：“行天關，為臣謀主。”郗萌曰：“辰星守天關者，皆為貴人多死。”《海中占》曰：“辰星守犯天關，道絕，天下相疑關梁之令。”

The star Tian Guan is located south of the Five Carriage constellation. It serves as the gateway through which the sun, moon, and five wandering stars enter and exit, and it also symbolizes border passes. Shi Shen said: When the water star moves within Tian Guan, it often fluctuates in height, should depart but does not, lingering back and forth, disrupting the normal course. Its light appears intense, as if in anger, indicating an ominous omen. This foretells the separation of the Central Plains, with roads cut off. The Wen Yao Gou states: Guarding Tian Guan signifies great floods, with ferry crossings and bridges blocked, leading to famine. People sell themselves to survive. This prediction comes true within a year. Shi Shen also said: When the wandering star moves to Tian Guan, it indicates plots by ministers against the sovereign. Xi Meng said: When the water star guards Tian Guan, it signifies many noblemen dying. The Hai Zhong Zhan states: When the water star occupies and offends Tian Guan, it leads to road blockages and suspicion among people regarding border controls and bridges.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星乘南河戍，若出南，皆為中國。”石氏曰：“守南河，蠻夷兵起，邊戍有憂；若有旱滅，人民飢；又曰留守南戍，中方兵起。”《黃帝占》曰：“辰星出北河戍間，若留守北戍；若居南戍間；若守兩戍間；為天下有難起，道不通。”《荊州占》曰：“守兩河戍間，天下乖離。”郗萌曰：“失度守陰門、若陽門，為諸侯奸；又曰不行天門天關間，為喪。”

The southern river and northern river each consist of three stars, positioned on the north and south sides of the Well mansion, serving as the heavenly gates. They are also called the southern gate and northern gate. The sun and moon, along with the five planets, pass through the middle of these two gates. The Yellow Emperor's Divination states: if the water star passes in front of or presses upon the southern river gate, or emerges from its southern side, it indicates calamity in the Central Plains. Shi Shen says: if the water star guards the southern river gate, it signifies that barbarian tribes will raise armies and there will be worries about border defenses; or there will be droughts causing crop failures and people suffering from hunger. He also says that if the water star guards the southern gate, it indicates warfare breaking out in the Central Plains. The Yellow Emperor's Divination also states: if the water star appears between the northern river gate or stays at the northern gate; or resides between the southern gate; or guards between the two gates; it indicates that calamities will arise throughout the world, and roads will be blocked. The Jingzhou Divination says: if the water star guards between the northern and southern river gates, it indicates that the world will be in discord and people will be scattered. Xi Meng says: if the water star deviates from its normal position and guards the yin gate or yang gate, it signifies that the feudal lords will commit wrongdoing; also, if the water star does not pass through the heavenly gate or heavenly gate passage, it indicates there will be mourning events.

石氏曰：“辰星犯五諸侯，若守之，兵大起，將士出，諸侯有憂，若有死者。”巫咸曰：“辰星入五諸侯，伺其出之日而數之，二十日兵起發；伺始入處之率，一日軍罷。”石氏曰：“守犯乘守五諸侯，諸侯兵死，期三年。”

Five feudal lords and five stars are located to the north of the Well mansion, symbolizing the five feudal lords of the imperial court, who are in charge of investigating and reporting misconduct. Shi Shen said: if the water star invades or stays above the five feudal lords, it indicates a great outbreak of military actions, with soldiers going to war, and the feudal lords facing calamities or deaths. Wu Xian said: if the water star enters the five feudal lords, and the day it leaves is calculated, military actions will start twenty days later; further, according to the position where it first entered, one day later the army will disband. Shi Shen said: if the water star stays, invades, or dominates the five feudal lords, it indicates that the feudal lords will die from military disasters, and the event will occur within three years.

石氏曰：“辰星守積水，旱。”巫咸曰：“犯守積水，其國有水災，水物不成，魚鹽貴，一曰以水為敗，糴大貴，人民飢，期二年。”

A single star of water is located west of the northern river, indicating the accumulation of clear water for use in sacrificial wine and liquor. Shi Shen said: When the water star guards the accumulated water, it signifies drought. Wu Xian said: If the water star both offends and guards the accumulated water, it indicates that the country corresponding to its region will suffer from floods, the aquatic produce will not mature, fish and salt will be expensive; another interpretation suggests that due to water disasters, the country will be ruined, the price of grain will be very high, and the people will suffer from hunger, which will occur within two years.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯守積薪，天下大旱，五穀不登，人民飢亡。”

A single star called Jixin is located east of Yugui, indicating the storage of firewood for use in the kitchen. Gan De said: If the planet Water Star encroaches upon and occupies Jixin, it presages a great drought across the country, a poor harvest of grain, and the people suffering from hunger and fleeing their homes.

石氏曰：“辰星犯守水位，天下以水為害，津關不通；一曰大水入城郭，浸傷人民，皆不出二年。”

Four stars of the water position are located east of the Well mansion, indicating matters related to water management and waterworks. Shi Shen said: when the water star encroaches upon and occupies the water position, it signifies that the whole country will suffer disasters caused by water, with ferry crossings and key passes becoming impassable; another interpretation suggests that great floods will enter the city walls, submerging and harming the people, and these events should occur within two years.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星行軒轅，中犯女主，女主失勢，憂喪也。（《宋書天文志》曰：晉穆帝昇平四年六月辛亥，辰星犯軒轅，五年五月，帝崩、哀帝立，褚後失勢。孝武太元五年，七月丙子，辰星犯軒轅，占曰：女主當之，九月癸未，皇后王氏崩。安帝隆安三年五月辛未，辰星犯軒轅大星，四年七月，太皇后李氏崩也。）列大夫有放逐者，五官不治，色悴，為憂，為疾；其所中犯乘守者，若有罪。”

(Original book note: The "Book of the Southern Dynasties · Astronomical Records" says that on June 18th of the fourth year of Shengping during the reign of Emperor Mu of Jin, Mercury confronted Xuanyuan, and in the fifth year of Shengping, Emperor Mu died and Emperor Ai took the throne, resulting in the decline of the Chuzhou太后. On July 15th of the fifth year of Taoyuan during the reign of Emperor Xiaowu of Jin, Mercury confronted Xuanyuan, and the prophecy was fulfilled with the death of Empress Wang on September 20th of that year. On May 18th of the third year of Long'an during the reign of Emperor An of Jin, Mercury confronted the main star of Xuanyuan, and in July of the fourth year of Long'an, the empress dowager Li died.) It also indicates that among the officials of the state, some will be exiled, and the duties of the five officials will be neglected. If the star appears dim and lacks brightness, it signifies sorrow and illness. If Mercury directly confronts, overshadows, or remains near a particular star, the person represented by that star may be punished.

石氏曰：“辰星在軒轅中，有以女子請人君者。”巫咸曰：“辰星行犯守軒轅，女主失勢；一曰大人當之，若有黜者；期二年。”石氏曰：“入軒轅中犯乘守之，有逆賊；若火災。”又曰：“犯守軒轅太民星，大流，太后宗有誅者，若有罪；中犯乘守小民星，小飢小流；皇后宗有誅者，若有罪。”

Shi Shen said: When the water star enters the Xuanyan and offends it, it indicates that someone will present a woman to the sovereign and request favors. Wu Xian said: When the water star moves and offends and stays in Xuanyan, it indicates that the female sovereign will lose power; another interpretation suggests that the effect will fall upon the nobleman, or someone will be demoted; the time of fulfillment is two years. Shi Shen also said: When the water star enters Xuanyan and offends, dominates, and stays, it indicates there will be rebels or fires. He also said: When the water star offends and stays in the Taomin star within Xuanyan, it indicates a large number of people will flee, and members of the太后's family will be executed, or some will be guilty of crimes; if it offends, dominates, and stays in the Xiaomin star from the center, it indicates a small famine and a small number of people fleeing; members of the queen's family will be executed, or some will be guilty of crimes.
