The Shi school says: When the star of years enters the region of Xiao Wei, the sovereign should seek virtuous ministers; if he does not seek virtuous ministers, his authority will be undermined and his power will be taken away. When the star of years invades and occupies Xiao Wei, renowned scholars will suffer misfortune, the sovereign will employ villains, loyal ministers will be persecuted, and some may even be killed. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the star of years enters, invades, overpowers, and occupies Xiao Wei, the prime minister will be replaced; when the star of years deeply enters and invades, overpowers, and occupies Xiao Wei, there will be worries for the female sovereign. The Shi school says: When the star of years deeply enters and invades, overpowers, and occupies Xiao Wei, the five officials will be in disorder, and the prime minister will suffer misfortune. The four stars of Xiao Wei are located to the west of Tai Wei, representing the positions of hermits and advisors, so they specifically indicate the appointment or dismissal of virtuous talents.

《帝覽嬉》曰：“歲星行犯太微左右執法，為大臣有憂。”郗萌曰：“歲星犯左右執法，執法者誅，若有罪。”

The "Imperial Inspection and Enjoyment" states: When the planet Jupiter passes through and invades the Left and Right Judges stars in the Taiwei Enclosure, it indicates that ministers will suffer calamities. Xi Meng says: When Jupiter invades the Left and Right Judges, those who hold the position of judges will be executed or punished. The Taiwei Enclosure is the southern palace court of the Son of Heaven, with the Left and Right Judges located on either side of the End Gate. In the human world, they correspond to the Chief Justice and the Grand Censor.

（班固《天文志》曰：袁帝元壽元年十一月，歲星入太微，逆行干右執法，二年十月戊寅，高安侯董賢免大司馬位，歸第自殺。司馬彪《天文志》曰：“考桓延熹九年十月癸酉，歲星犯左執法，十一月戊午，歲星入犯左執法，其九年十一月，荊州刺史李隗等皆棄市，至永康元十二月，太傅陳蕃，大將軍寶武等皆枉死也。）

The original book's marginal notes cite Ban Gu's "Astronomical Records" which says: In the tenth lunar month of the first year of Emperor Hui of the Han dynasty (the text originally reads "Yuan Emperor," which is a mistaken character for "Hui Emperor"), the planet Jupiter entered the Taimei region and moved retrogradely, offending the Right Judicial Officer. In the tenth lunar month of the second year, on the fifth day of the fifth month (Wuyin), the Marquess of Gao'an, Dong Xian, was dismissed from his position as Grand Commandant and returned to his residence where he committed suicide. It also cites Sima Biao's "Astronomical Records" which says: In the ninth year of Yanshi during Emperor Huan's reign, in the tenth lunar month on the tenth day of the tenth month (Guiyou), the planet Jupiter offended the Left Judicial Officer; in the eleventh lunar month on the fifth day of the fifth month (Wuwu), the planet Jupiter entered the Taimei region and again offended the Left Judicial Officer. At this time in the eleventh lunar month, officials such as Li Wei, the Inspector of Jingzhou, were all executed and their bodies were displayed in the marketplace. By the twelfth lunar month of Yongkang Year One, officials such as the Grand Minister Chen Fan and General-in-Chief Dou Wu all died unjustly.

《荊州占》曰；“歲星道從太微西蕃北南方星間入，致南蕃東方星間南出道中，西蕃直坐入者，非道也。歲星以壬子日慎入太微天廷中，天子所使也：不以壬子日入，非天子使。”郗萌曰：“歲星當太微門，為受制；當左執法，為受事左執法；當右執法，受事右執法；守太微門，三日以下為受制；三日以上為兵，為賊，為亂，為飢。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: The planet Jupiter is the wood star, and when it enters and exits the "Taiwei Enclosure," it follows either the proper path or an improper one. If it enters from between the westernmost stars of the Taiwei Enclosure,偏向 the north, and the southern stars, then exits from between the eastern stars of the southernmost part, moving southward, this is following the proper path. However, if it enters directly from the westernmost stars facing the position of the Imperial Seat, then it is not following the proper path. When the Jupiter star slowly enters the Taiwei celestial court on a "Renzi" day, it symbolizes that it is acting on the emperor's command. If it does not enter on a "Renzi" day, then it is not sent by the emperor. Xi Meng says: When the Jupiter star is directly facing the southern gate of the Taiwei Enclosure, it indicates receiving the emperor's decree. If it is directly facing the "Zuofazhang" star, it indicates receiving affairs from the left judicial official. If it is directly facing the "Youfazhang" star, it indicates receiving affairs from the right judicial official. If it stays and guards the Taiwei gate, and remains for three days or less, it still indicates receiving a decree. If it stays for more than three days, it indicates military actions, bandits, disturbances, and famine.

《荊州占》曰：“歲星出東掖門為相，受命東南，出德事也；出西掖門為將，受命西南，出刑事也；期以春夏。”《齊伯占》曰：“歲星入太微，執道而出，王者有福，諸侯有受賜爵封者。”《黃帝占》曰：“歲星入天廷，色白潤澤，為期百八十日，有谷：歲星東行入太微廷中，出東門，天下有急兵；若守，將相御史大臣有死者：若入端門守廷，大禍至：入南門出東門，國大旱：若入南門逆行出西門，有大水；逆入東門出西門，大國破亡：若順入西蕃而留不去，楚國凶殃。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet Jupiter exits from the "Eastern Side Gate" of the Taiwei Enclosure, it indicates an event concerning the chancellor, and the mandate will be received in the Southeast direction, dealing with matters of bestowing kindness and virtue; when it exits from the "Western Side Gate," it indicates an event concerning the general, and the mandate will be received in the Southwest direction, dealing with matters of punishment, execution, and military campaigns; the verification period occurs in the spring and summer seasons. The *Qibozhuan* says: When the planet Jupiter enters the Taiwei Enclosure and proceeds along the proper path to exit, the sovereign will have good fortune, and among the feudal lords, someone will be granted titles and territories. The *Huangdi Divination* says: When the planet Jupiter enters the celestial court, that is, the Taiwei Enclosure, and the star appears white and moist, it will take 180 days, and there will be a good harvest. If the planet Jupiter proceeds eastward into the Taiwei Court and exits from the Eastern Gate, there will be urgent military affairs throughout the land; if it remains stationed at the waiting post without moving, there will be deaths among the chancellors and officials of the imperial court. If it enters through the "End Gate" and stays within the court, great calamity will come; if it enters through the Southern Gate and exits through the Eastern Gate, there will be a great drought in the country; if it enters through the Southern Gate and exits westward through the Western Gate, there will be a great flood; if it proceeds westward into the Western Border and remains stationed there without moving, the region of Chu will suffer misfortune.

《合誠圖》曰：“歲星入華闕門者，為臣殺之、候之。”石氏曰：“歲星入太微中華東西門，若左右掖門，而南出端門者，必有反臣。歲星入太微西門出東門，為人君不安，欲求賢佐：有入中華西門出中華東門，為臣出令：有入太陰西門出太陰東門，為天下大亂，有喪，若大水。”

The "Hecheng Tu" says: When the star of years enters the "Huakuemen" gate of the Taimei Enclosure, it indicates that there will be a minister committing regicide, and one must be vigilant. The Shi school says: When the star of years enters the "Zhonghua Dongmen" or "Zhonghua Ximen" gates, or the Left Yemen or Right Yemen gates of the Taimei Enclosure, and then exits southward through the Duamen gate, there will certainly be a rebellious minister. If the star of years enters through the Taimei Ximen and exits through the Dongmen, it signifies that the sovereign is troubled in mind and is seeking virtuous ministers to assist him. If it enters through the Zhonghua Ximen and exits through the Zhonghua Dongmen, it indicates that government orders are issued by ministers. If it enters through the Taiyin Ximen and exits through the Taiyin Dongmen, there will be great chaos throughout the country, with loss of life or a major flood disaster.

郗萌曰：“歲星入太微西門，犯天廷，出端門，皆為大臣伐主；入西門而初出右掖門，皆為大臣假主之威而不從主命。歲星入西華門出端門，為臣詐稱詔。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星入太陰西門若端門出東門；貴者奪威勢。歲星與五星俱會太微宮中，成勾己而光不相及者，三王九侯亡：一曰名臣爭為主，更相殘賊。歲月入太微天廷出端門，臣不臣。歲星入太微宮，為天下大驚：一曰有兵。歲星入天廷，國不安其宮。”

Xi Meng said: The planet Jupiter enters through the western gate of Taiwei, invades the heavenly court, and then exits through the end gate, which indicates ministers attacking the sovereign. If Jupiter enters through the western gate and exits first through the right wing gate, it indicates ministers using the sovereign's authority and not obeying the sovereign's orders. If Jupiter enters through the 'Xihua Gate' and exits through the end gate, it indicates ministers forging imperial edicts. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: If Jupiter enters through the 'western gate of Taiyin' or the end gate and exits through the eastern gate, the power and authority of the powerful will be taken away. If Jupiter and other stars gather in the Taiwei palace, and their path is curved into the shape of 'gou ji' without their lights connecting, the three kings and nine ministers will perish. Another interpretation is that renowned ministers will vie for the throne and kill each other. If Jupiter enters the heavenly court and exits through the end gate, ministers will not follow the proper conduct of ministers (the original text mistakenly writes 'yue' instead of 'Jupiter'). If Jupiter enters the Taiwei palace, the whole country will be greatly shocked; another interpretation is that there will be military affairs. If Jupiter enters the heavenly court, the country cannot remain secure in its palace.

司馬彪《天文志》曰：“歲星入太微，人主改政。”巫咸曰：“歲星逆行入太微天廷中，為大臣有誅；若諸侯戮死，期二年。”石氏曰：“歲星逆行太微之中，及出入左右掖門，為有逆謀，天子有命，將征伐之事：一曰大赦可以解其患。歲星逆行入太陽東門，若入中華門，入主改政，非次，天下不安。”

Simao Biao's "Astronomical Records" says: When the planet Jupiter enters the Taimei Enclosure, the sovereign should change his policies. Wu Xian says: When Jupiter retrogrades and enters the Taimei celestial court, it indicates that ministers will be executed; or that princes will be put to death, within a period of two years. The Shi school says: When Jupiter retrogrades within the Taimei Enclosure, and enters or exits through the Left and Right Wings gates, there will be plots of rebellion, and the Son of Heaven will issue an order to launch military campaigns; another interpretation is that a great amnesty can resolve this calamity. When Jupiter retrogrades and enters through the "Sun's Eastern Gate" or the "Zhonghua Gate," the sovereign will change his policies, and these changes will not follow the usual order, leading to unrest in the world (this sentence originally had "rulers" mistakenly written as "entering the court").

郗萌日：“歲星逆行入左掖門，為臣劫其主；有入東華門，至黃帝座，出西門，為臣欲謀主；不成。”《玉曆》曰：“歲星逆行入太微，強臣凌主，諸侯兵起。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星主東方，南逆行入太微東南隅星之北，為南方，入二星之北，為東方。”

Xi Meng said: The planet Jupiter movesretrograde from the left gate, indicating that ministers will seize the ruler. If it enters through the 'Eastern Gate' and proceeds all the way to the 'Yellow Emperor's Seat', then exits through the western gate, it indicates that ministers intend to plot against the ruler, but the plot will not succeed. The Jade Calendar says: When Jupiter movesretrograde into the Taimei Enclosure, powerful ministers will oppress the ruler, and the feudal lords will raise armies. The Jingzhou Divination says: Jupiter normally governs the East. If it moves southwardretrograde and enters the southern corner of the Taimei Enclosure, the omen will be in the South; if it enters the northern side of those two stars, the omen will be in the East.

《黃帝占》曰：“歲星留於太微，守三十日以上，為必有兵革，天下大赦。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星入太微從右，二十日以上，人主大不安，有大憂。”（案《宋書天文志》曰：魏貴初五年，歲星入太微，逆行積百四十幾日乃出，至—匕年五月，文帝崩，明帝即位，大赦天下。）

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: If the planet Jupiter lingers in the Taiwei Enclosure for more than thirty days, there will certainly be warfare, followed by a great amnesty throughout the land. The Jingzhou Divination says: If the planet Jupiter enters the Taiwei Enclosure from the right and stays for more than twenty days, the ruler will be extremely anxious and there will be great troubles. The following is a note from the original text, citing the "Song History · Astronomical Records": In the fifth year of Wei Huangchu (the original text mistakenly writes "Guichu" instead of "Huangchu"), the planet Jupiter entered the Taiwei Enclosure and moved retrograde for over one hundred forty days before exiting; in May of the seventh year of Wei Huangchu (the original text here has a character error, written as "—匕 year"), Emperor Wen of Wei, Cao Pi, died, and Emperor Ming of Wei, Cao Rui, ascended the throne, and a great amnesty was declared throughout the land.

《荊州占》曰：“歲星入太微，從右入七日以上，為人主憂。”（司馬彪《天文志》曰：考桓延熹九年正月壬辰，歲星入太微中，五十八日出端門，永康元年十二月丁丑，桓帝崩。）歲星道南蕃入留止南門，為大臣有憂。歲星留太微廷中，為天下大憂；中央留十日以上，皆為天下有亡徒為兵者。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the star of years enters the Taimei Enclosure from the right side and stays for more than seven days, the sovereign will have worries. The following is a commentary from the original text, citing Wang Maibiao's *Astronomical Annals*: In the ninth year of Huan Di's Yanyi period (the original text mistakenly writes 'Kao Huan' instead of 'Xiao Huan'), in the first lunar month on the day of Renchen, the star of years entered the Taimei Enclosure, and after fifty-eight days it exited from the end gate. By the twelfth lunar month on the day of Dingchou in Yongkang Year One, Huan Di died. When the star of years enters through the southern藩 and stays at the southern gate, it indicates that ministers will have worries. If the star of years remains in the Taimei Court, it signifies great worries for the whole country. If it stays in the central part of the Taimei Enclosure for more than ten days, it indicates that there will be gatherings of outlaws leading to military disturbances.

陳卓曰：“歲星入太微，犯左，左執法將相執法者有憂，若死亡；近期一年，遠五年。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星入太微天廷，所中犯乘守者，殺；若有罪，各以守官名之。歲星食太微東西蕃，四輔臣有誅者，若君臣失禮。”

Chen Zhuo said: The star of years enters the Taimei Enclosure, and if it confronts the left side, the generals and officials under the jurisdiction of "Left Law Officer" will suffer misfortune, even death; this will be fulfilled within a year or within five years. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the star of years enters the Taimei celestial court, any star that is directly confronted, confronted, overpowers, or stays in place by the star of years, the person governed by that star will be killed; or be guilty of a crime, and the specific person to be punished will be determined according to the official title corresponding to the star that is guarded. If the star of years erodes the eastern and western borders of the Taimei Enclosure, there will be executions among the "Four Assistants," or there will be a lack of propriety between the sovereign and ministers.

石氏曰：“歲星犯黃帝座，改正易王，天下亂，存亡半。”又占曰：“歲星逆來犯黃帝座，王者惡之，禍成矣，期三年。”郗萌曰：“歲星干犯黃帝座，非其主立，天下不安。”《荊州占》曰；“歲星入黃帝座，其色白者，為有赦。”又占曰：“歲星逆行入太微天廷中，為諸侯將有戮上者。至黃帝座而成，不至黃帝座而還，有謀不成，以其入日占國。”又占曰：“歲星中黃帝座，為大人易，天下大亂。”又占曰：“歲星觸黃帝座，主賊，”《黃帝占》曰：“守黃帝座，大人憂。”

The Shi school says: when the planet Jupiter approaches and confronts the Yellow Emperor's Seat, it indicates a change in the calendar system and a change of ruler, leading to great chaos, with half of the people surviving and half perishing. Another divination says: when Jupiter moves retrograde and confronts the Yellow Emperor's Seat, the ruler most fears this celestial phenomenon, as calamity has already been set in motion, and the time limit is three years. Xi Meng says: when Jupiter confronts the Yellow Emperor's Seat, there will be an improper person being established as ruler, causing unrest throughout the land. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: when Jupiter enters the Yellow Emperor's Seat and the star appears white, it indicates that a general pardon will be issued. Another divination says: when Jupiter moves retrograde and enters the Taimei celestial court, it signifies that among the feudal lords there will be someone who kills the sovereign; if it continues all the way to the Yellow Emperor's Seat, the matter will be accomplished; if it does not reach the Yellow Emperor's Seat and turns back, the plot will fail. According to the day it enters the Taimei Enclosure, the corresponding region can be determined to identify which state it concerns. Another divination says: when Jupiter is directly in the Yellow Emperor's Seat, it indicates the replacement of the great person, that is, the ruler, leading to great chaos. Another divination says: when Jupiter touches the Yellow Emperor's Seat, it indicates the occurrence of bandits. The "Yellow Emperor Divination" says: when Jupiter guards the Yellow Emperor's Seat, the great person will face troubles.

石氏曰：“歲星犯守四帝，臣謀主：去之一尺，事不成。”《玉曆》曰：“歲星入太微，犯四帝，闢憂君也。”甘氏曰：“歲星中犯乘守四帝座，天下亡。”

The "Four Imperial Seats" are four stars surrounding the Yellow Emperor's seat in the Taiwei Enclosure, symbolizing the imperial seats of the east, south, west, and north. The Shi school says that if the planet Jupiter approaches or stays near the Four Imperial Seats, it indicates that ministers may plot against the sovereign; if Jupiter is more than a foot away from the Four Imperial Seats, the matter will not succeed. The "Jade Calendar" says that when Jupiter enters the Taiwei Enclosure and approaches the Four Imperial Seats, the sovereign should be anxious. The Gan school says that if Jupiter is directly in the middle, approaches, invades, or stays near the Four Imperial Seats, the country will be on the verge of collapse.

甘氏曰：“歲星犯守屏星，君臣失禮，下而謀上：一曰大臣有戮死者。”石氏曰：“歲星中犯乘守屏星，為君臣失禮，而輔臣有誅者，若免罷去。”

"The 'Screen Star' symbolizes obstruction and concealment, and is positioned in front of the Emperor's seat in the Taimei垣 (Court of the Supreme Palace). It is like a screen in front of the throne. The Gan school says that when the planet Jupiter approaches or stays near the Screen Star, it indicates disorder in the relationship between the sovereign and ministers, with those in lower positions plotting against those in higher positions; another interpretation suggests that a high-ranking minister may be executed. The Shi school says that when the planet Jupiter is directly in the middle, approaches, overpowers, or stays near the Screen Star, it indicates disorder between the sovereign and ministers, with a chief minister being executed or dismissed from office."

甘氏曰；“歲星犯守郎位，輔臣有謀，左右宿衛者為亂，王者宜備之。”

"The 'Liang Wei' refers to a group of stars within the Taimei Yuan that symbolize officials known as Liang officials. Liang officials are attendants who serve near the Son of Heaven, providing advice and being available for tasks. The Gan school states: if the planet Jupiter is in opposition to or occupies the Liang Wei, it indicates that the chief ministers in the court may be plotting secretly, and the guards serving near the monarch might rebel. The king should be prepared in advance."

巫咸曰：“歲星犯守郎將，命曰陵；陵則將有誅，若將憂；一曰大臣為亂，誠慎左右。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星犯乘守郎將，具有以符節為奸者。”又占曰：“歲星中犯乘守郎，將必有不還之使，”

"The position of Langjiang is a military post responsible for leading the Lang officials in guarding the court, and its corresponding star is located beside the Lang position. Wu Xian said: if the planet Jupiter is in opposition to or occupies the position of Langjiang, this celestial phenomenon is called 'ling'; once it becomes 'ling', generals will be executed, or the generals will face calamities; another interpretation suggests that ministers will rebel, and the ruler must be cautious and vigilant about the attendants around him. The 'Jingzhou Divination' states: if the planet Jupiter is in opposition to, attacks, or occupies the position of Langjiang, it indicates that someone will use a token to act improperly and commit wrongdoing. Another divination says: if the planet Jupiter is directly in the middle, in opposition to, attacks, or occupies the position of Langjiang, there will certainly be envoys sent abroad who will not return alive."

甘氏曰：“歲星犯守常陳，守衛有謀，兵起宮中，天子自出行，誅：期百八十日，遠一年。”

The constellation Cháng Chén is located north of the Taimei Yuan, consisting of seven stars, symbolizing the bodyguards of the Son of Heaven arrayed in formation to guard and clear the way. The Gan school says: if the planet Jupiter confronts or resides in Cháng Chén, it indicates that those in charge of the palace guards may have conspiracies, and military disorder will arise within the palace. The Son of Heaven must personally take action to punish the offenders. The duration is 180 days, or up to a year.

《玉曆》曰：“歲星入犯上臺司命，近臣有罪，若有誅：一曰近臣有逃走者，以五色占：色黃，當日無故：青黑，憂死喪，期一年。”郗萌曰：“歲星犯守上臺，改年易紀，太尉死，不則天子惡之；中臺，司徒病；下臺，司空。期百日，若七十日，丙子日。”《文曜鉤》曰：“歲星犯守中臺，司中奸臣有謀，若誅者，中公當之。”巫咸曰：“歲星犯守下臺，司祿近臣有罪，若出走，黑死者。

The "Three Palaces" consist of six stars, arranged in pairs, divided into Upper Palace, Middle Palace, and Lower Palace, symbolizing the positions of the Three Grand Ministers. The "Yulì" states: if the planet Jupiter approaches or stays near the Upper Palace, the Upper Palace is also called "Director of Destiny," indicating that a close minister will be punished or executed; another interpretation suggests that there may be a fleeing minister, and the fate can be judged by the five colors of the star: if the star appears yellow, there will be no incident that day; if it appears dark blue, there will be sorrow related to death, with the period lasting one year. Xi Meng says: if Jupiter approaches or stays near the Upper Palace, it signifies a change of era, the death of the Grand Marshal, or the emperor's dislike of the matter; if it approaches the Middle Palace, the Minister of Works will fall ill; if it approaches the Lower Palace, the Minister of Public Works will be affected. The duration is either one hundred days or seventy days, and it should occur on the day of Bingzi. The "Wenyao Gou" states: if Jupiter approaches or stays near the Middle Palace, the Middle Palace is also called "Director of the Middle," indicating that there will be plots by wicked ministers or executions, and the person in the position of the Middle Minister will bear the consequences. Wu Xian says: if Jupiter approaches or stays near the Lower Palace, the Lower Palace is also called "Director of Officials' Wages," indicating that a close minister will be punished, or will flee, or there will be an accidental death (the character "black" in the original text is suspected to be a mistake, and the quoted text also omits the closing quotation mark).

石氏曰：“歲星犯相星，輔臣凶。”

"The Xiang Star" is located south of the Big Dipper's Kuai Star, symbolizing the prime minister who assists the emperor. The Shi school says: when the Year Star confronts the Xiang Star, it indicates that the chief minister in charge of administration will suffer misfortune.

甘氏曰：“歲星犯守太陽守，大臣戮死：若有誅，謀不出年。”

"The Star of Brightness and Prestige" is a single star located below the Big Dipper's handle and to the west of the ministering star. It symbolizes high-ranking military officials and generals who hold command. The Gan school says: if the year star confronts or stays near the Star of Brightness and Prestige, it indicates that a high-ranking official will be executed or someone will be put to death. This conspiracy will come to light within a year.

《海中占》曰：“歲星犯守天牢，王者以獄為弊，貴人多係者。”

"The Heavenly Prison" consists of six stars located beneath the Qiu Star of the Big Dipper, symbolizing a prison for noblemen. The "Sea Divination" states: When the year star confronts or resides in the Heavenly Prison, it indicates that the king will suffer harm due to legal matters, and many noblemen will be imprisoned.

石氏曰：“歲星入文昌，天下兵起，其君不安，若有走主。”

The Star of Examinations and Documents consists of six stars positioned before the Big Dipper's Handle. It symbolizes the six departments of the Son of Heaven and presides over cultural governance and imperial edicts concerning appointments. 《聖洽符》曰：“歲星入北斗口中，天下大亂，改政易王，國有大喪，期三年。”巫咸曰：“歲星入北斗，若守之，貴臣受殃。”郗萌曰：“歲星入守北斗，貴人有繫。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星守北斗，天子惡之。”《荊州占》曰：“歲星守北斗，不出一年，其歲大水；一曰大赦。”

The Seven Stars of the Big Dipper are the chariot of the Heavenly Emperor, moving in the center and governing the four directions, overseeing commands, ranks, and life and death. The "Sheng Qie Fu" says: When the planet Jupiter enters the mouth of the Big Dipper formed by the魁 star, the world will experience great chaos, changes in government and rulers, and a major national mourning, lasting three years. Wu Xian says: When Jupiter enters the Big Dipper or stays there, prominent ministers will suffer misfortune. Xi Meng says: When Jupiter enters and stays in the Big Dipper, it indicates that noblemen will be imprisoned. The "Jingzhou Zhuan" says: When Jupiter stays in the Big Dipper, the emperor will be wary of this celestial phenomenon. The "Jingzhou Zhuan" also says: When Jupiter stays in the Big Dipper, within a year, there will be a great flood; another account says there will be a major amnesty.

《海中占》曰：“歲星入長垣，天子以兵自衛，強臣凌主；一曰叛臣被誅，若戮死；期不出百八十日。”《玄冥占》曰：“歲星入紫微宮，奸臣有謀，兵起宮中，天下亂，人主憂，期二年。”巫咸曰：“歲星守紫微宮，民莫處其室宅，流移去其鄉。”

"The Purple Micro Palace" refers to the Purple Micro Enclosure, which is the palace where the heavenly emperor resides. The two walls on either side enclose it like a city, so it is also called the Long Enclosure. The "Sea of Divination" states: When the planet Jupiter enters the Long Enclosure, the emperor will need to use military force to defend himself, and powerful ministers will oppress the sovereign. Another interpretation suggests that a rebellious minister is executed or put to death; the time limit does not exceed 180 days. The "Xuan Ming Divination" states: When the planet Jupiter enters the Purple Micro Palace, wicked ministers plot secretly, and military chaos arises within the palace, causing turmoil throughout the country and making the sovereign anxious; the time limit is two years. Wu Xian says: When the planet Jupiter guards the Purple Micro Palace, the people cannot live peacefully in their own homes, and they will flee and migrate, leaving their homeland.

石氏曰：“歲星犯守北極，主星必有大喪，若有反臣。”《玉曆》曰：“歲星犯守太子星，太子憂，若有罪；犯守庶子，庶子憂，若有罪。”《荊州占》曰；“歲星中犯乘守北極主星，為大人憂。”《黃帝占》曰：“歲星犯守鉤陳，後宮亂，兵起宮中，倖臣謀，主者憂。”

The five stars of the Northern Pole are located within the Purple Micro Palace, arranged in order as the Crown Prince, the Emperor Star (the main star), the younger son, the Queen's Palace, and the Heavenly Pivot, symbolizing the family of the sovereign. The six stars of Gou Chen surround the Northern Pole, governing the Queen's Palace and the palace guards. According to the Shi school, if the planet Jupiter (Sui Xing) approaches or stays near the Northern Pole, the sovereign will certainly suffer a great loss or face a rebellious minister. The Jade Calendar states that if Jupiter approaches or stays near the Crown Prince star, the Crown Prince will have worries or bear guilt; if it approaches or stays near the younger son star, the younger son will have worries or bear guilt. The Jingzhou Divination says that if Jupiter is directly in the middle, approaches, invades, or stays near the main star of the Northern Pole, there will be worries for a great person. The Yellow Emperor's Divination states that if Jupiter approaches or stays near Gou Chen, there will be disorder in the Queen's Palace, a military mutiny will occur within the palace, the favored ministers will plot against the sovereign, and the sovereign will be troubled.

石氏曰：“歲星犯守天一，倖臣有謀，人主憂。”

"The star Tianyi is located to the south of the right star outside the Purple Micro Palace. It is the divine spirit of the heavenly emperor, governing warfare and foretelling the fortune of people. The Shi school says: If the planet of the year confronts or guards Tianyi, it indicates that a favored minister may plot secretly, causing the sovereign to worry."

石氏曰：“歲是生犯守太一，倖臣有謀，有兵起，人主憂。”

"The star Taiyi is located south of Tianyi, and it is also the divine spirit of the heavenly emperor, governing the sixteen spirits, knowing about wind, rain, water, drought, and military conflicts and famine. The Shi school says: if the star of the year (Jupiter) confronts or stays near Taiyi, it indicates that a favored minister may have secret plots, and there will be military actions, causing the ruler to worry."

《黃帝占》曰：“歲星犯庫樓，兵出；一曰：民飢、舉兵。”巫咸曰：“歲星入庫樓，其國以飢起兵；若有旱災，期不出年。”

"The ten stars of Kulu are located south of the Horn mansion, representing the heavenly arsenal and watchtower, governing military weapons and equipment. The Yellow Emperor's Divination states: when the planet Jupiter approaches Kulu, it signifies the mobilization of troops for military campaigns; another interpretation suggests that it indicates people rising up in rebellion due to famine. Wu Xian says: when Jupiter enters Kulu, the country will wage war due to famine; or it may suffer from drought, and this will occur within a year."

《荊州占》曰：“歲星守南門，王者出畋獵，不出三十日。”石氏曰：“歲星犯守南門，夷兵起；若路不通。”

"The two stars called 'Nanmen' are located south of Kuluolou, representing the heavenly outer gate, governing the defense and the roads for communication with the four barbarian regions. The 'Jingzhou Divination' states: When the planet Jupiter is stationed at Nanmen, it indicates the king will go hunting outside the capital, and this will be fulfilled within thirty days. The Shi school says: When Jupiter confronts or is stationed at Nanmen, the armies of the four barbarian regions will rise; or the roads will be blocked."

石氏曰：“歲星犯平星、凶。”甘氏曰：“歲星守平星，執政臣憂；若有罪誅者，期一年。”

The two stars "Ping Xing" are located to the north of Kulu, and they signify the administration of justice and laws, representing the image of the Minister of Justice enforcing the law. The Shi school says that when the planet Jupiter confronts Ping Xing, it indicates calamity. The Gan school says that when Jupiter is stationed with Ping Xing, it suggests that the chief minister in charge of government affairs will face troubles; or there may be someone who incurs guilt and is executed, with the period lasting one year.

甘氏曰：“歲星犯守騎官，有兵起，馬多發，若多死。”

The constellation "Qiguan" consists of twenty-seven stars located south of the Root Mansion. It represents the emperor's cavalry officials. The Gan school says: If the planet Jupiter approaches or stays near Qiguan, it indicates military affairs will arise, with a large number of horses being mobilized or a large number of horses dying.

石氏曰：“歲星入積卒，若守之，兵大起，士卒大行，若多死，期二年。”

The twelve stars of Jī Zú are located south of Fáng Sù, symbolizing a gathering of soldiers. The Shi school says: if the year star enters Jī Zú or stays there, it indicates a major military campaign, with a large number of soldiers being mobilized for war, or significant casualties, lasting for two years.

《海中占》曰：“歲星犯龜星，天下有水旱之災；守陽則旱，守陰則水。”

The star of the tortoise is among the five planets located south of the Tail mansion, governing divination and creatures in water. The Sea Divination says: When the planet of the year confronts the star of the tortoise, there will be floods and droughts in the world; if it is positioned south of the star of the tortoise (in the yang position), there will be drought; if it is positioned north of the star of the tortoise (in the yin position), there will be flooding.

石氏曰：“歲星犯守傅說，王者簡宗廟，廢五祀，後宮凶；一曰有絕嗣，期不出三年。”

The star "Fu Yue" is located after the Tail mansion. It is said to be the spirit of Fu Yue, a virtuous minister of King Wen of Yin, who died and transformed into this star. It presides over matters concerning the imperial harem's descendants and worship. The Shi school states that if the planet Jupiter confronts or stays near Fu Yue, it indicates the king's neglect of ancestral temples, abandoning the five regular sacrifices: gate, door, well, stove, and central threshold. There will also be calamities in the harem. Another interpretation suggests the extinction of the royal lineage, with the duration not exceeding three years.

甘氏曰：“歲星犯守魚星之陽，為大旱，魚行人道；犯守魚星之陰，為大水，魚鹽貴。”

The star "Fish Star" is located in the Milky Way after the Tail Mansion, and it presages matters related to dampness and aquatic creatures with scales. The Gan school says: if the Jupiter star confronts or guards the southern side of the Fish Star, it indicates a severe drought, with rivers drying up and water becoming shallow, so that fish walk on the roads. If Jupiter confronts or guards the northern side of the Fish Star, it indicates a great flood, with the prices of fish and salt rising sharply.

《海中占》曰：“歲星入杵星，若守之，天下有急發米之事，不出其年。”

"The Chopper Star" consists of three stars located south of the Winnowing Basket mansion, paired with the Mortar Star, representing the pestle used for pounding rice, symbolizing food processing. The Sea Divination states: When the Year Star enters or stays at the Chopper Star, there will be urgent requisitioning of grain and rice in the country, and the prediction will come true within the same year.

《黃帝占》曰：“歲星守鱉星，為有白衣之會。”石氏曰：“歲星守鱉星，有白衣若聚眾，若大水。”巫咸曰：“歲星守鱉星，國有水旱之災，守陽則旱，守陰則水。”

The constellation "Bie Star" consists of fourteen stars located south of the Southern Dipper, and it presides over aquatic creatures with shells. The "Yellow Emperor's Divination" states: When the planet Jupiter is in conjunction with the Bie Star, there will be a "white-cloth gathering," which refers to a gathering for funerals. The Shi school says: When Jupiter is in conjunction with the Bie Star, there will be matters concerning mourning clothes or gatherings, or a great flood. Wu Xian says: When Jupiter is in conjunction with the Bie Star, the country will suffer from water or drought disasters; if it is in the southern position (yang position), there will be drought; if it is in the northern position (yin position), there will be flooding.

石氏曰：“歲星守九坎，天下旱，名水不水，五穀不登，人民大飢；一曰：之陰大水，之陽大旱。”

"The Nine Pits" refer to nine stars located south of the constellation Niutou, symbolizing ditches and ponds, indicating the function of guiding and regulating water flow. The Shi school says: when the planet Jupiter is stationed at the Nine Pits, there will be a great drought across the land, famous rivers and streams will dry up and cease to be water, crops will not mature, and the people will suffer from severe famine; another interpretation states that when Jupiter moves to the north of the Nine Pits, there will be a great flood, and when it moves to the south, there will be a severe drought.

石氏曰：“歲星守敗臼，民不安，其室憂，失其釜甑；若流移，去其鄉。”

"The Four Stars of the Broken Mill" are located south of the Emptiness Mansion and the Rooftop Mansion, representing a broken mill, indicating misfortune, famine, and disaster. The Shi school says: When the planet of years stays in the Broken Mill, the people cannot rest in peace, every family has worries, and even the cooking pots and steamers for cooking rice may not be safe; or people will have to flee and migrate, leaving their homeland.
