《海中占》曰：“太白犯東井，人主浮船。”石氏曰：“太白犯東井，將軍惡之。”（宋檀道鸞《晉陽秋》曰：孝武太元五年五月丁酉，太白犯東井、八月己巳，領軍將軍新除太常韓伯卒，安帝元年三月丙辰、太白犯東井、後將軍王國寶於獄賜死、又左將軍王緒斬於市也。）石氏曰：“太白入東井中，大人衛守，國君失政，大臣為亂，兵大起。”（案《晉書天文志》曰：晉永康二年二月，太白出西方，逆行入東井，是時齊王冏起兵討趙王倫，倫滅冏，擁兵不朝，專權淫侈，明年誅死。車頻《秦書》曰：符生壽光三年二月、太白犯東井、太史奏曰：必有暴兵，生日星入井者，必將渴耳，何怪也。時長安謠曰：百里望空城，蔚蔚一何青，瞎兒不知法，仰目不見星。其年符法殺生，而堅代立，是其應也。）

The book "Sea Divination" says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, the sovereign will travel by boat. Shi Shen says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, it is an ominous sign disliked by generals. (Original book note: According to Tan Daoluan's "Jinyang Spring" from the Song dynasty, in the fifth month of the fifth year of Emperor Xiaowu's Taoyuan period of the Jin dynasty, the planet Venus entered the Well mansion on the Dingyou day; on the Jisi day of the eighth month, General-in-Chief and newly appointed Minister of Rites Han Bo died. In the first year of Emperor An's reign, on the Bingchen day of March, the planet Venus entered the Well mansion, and General Wang Guobao was executed in prison, while General Wang Xu was beheaded in the market.) Shi Shen says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, it indicates that a great man will strengthen the garrison and defense, the sovereign will lose control of the government, ministers will rebel, and military affairs will greatly increase. Che Pin's "Qin Book" says: In the second month of the third year of Shouguang of Fu Sheng of the Former Qin dynasty, the planet Venus entered the Well mansion, and the astronomer reported that there would certainly be violent military disturbances. Fu Sheng said, the planet entering "Well" means only drinking water, what is there to be surprised about? At that time, a folk song spread in Chang'an: "A hundred miles away from an empty city, how green it is, the blind man does not know the law, looking up but not seeing the stars." That year, Fu Fa killed Fu Sheng, and Fu Jian took over and established himself as the ruler, which was fulfilled.)

郗萌曰：“太白入東井中，先起兵者大敗，天下大水。”（《宋書天文志》曰：晉穆帝昇平三年六月，太白犯東井，四年五月，天下大水之驗也。）郗萌曰：“太白出東方，入咸池，東下行入東井，下不忠，有謀上者。”《荊州占》曰：“太白入東井，將軍有戮死者。”《玉曆》曰：“太白入東井，失道行陽，先起者亡，後發者昌。”郗萌曰：“太白入東井，出入諸侯；兵驚、政急、民流。”《南官侯》曰：“太白入東井，留二十日以上，天下更政，若六畜疾。又曰兵大起，天下易正朔。”（謂留井中）《黃帝占》曰：“太白入東井，為水。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, the party that starts the military action will suffer a great defeat, and there will be a great flood throughout the land. (Original note: The "Book of the Chronicles of the Song Dynasty" records that in the sixth month of the third year of Emperor Mu of the Jin Dynasty, the planet Venus invaded the Well mansion, and in the fifth month of the fourth year, there was a great flood, which was a fulfillment of this prediction.) Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus appears in the east and enters the Xianchi star, moving eastward into the Well mansion, it indicates that the people below are disloyal and have plots against the sovereign. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, there will be a general who is executed. The "Jade Calendar" says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, it loses its normal path and moves in the yang position, indicating that the party that acts first will be destroyed, while the party that acts later will flourish. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, moving in and out between the stars of the feudal lords, it indicates military disturbances, strict government policies, and the migration of the people. The "Nan Gao Hou" says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion and stays for more than twenty days, it indicates a change in government decrees or illness among the six domestic animals; it also indicates a great outbreak of military conflict and a change in the calendar system. (Original note: This refers to the planet Venus staying within the Well mansion.) The "Yellow Emperor's Divination" says: When the planet Venus enters the Well mansion, there will be floods.

石氏曰：“太白守東井，為旱。”石氏曰：“太白守東井，十日不下，大臣坐之；三十日不下，神水出，歲多土功。”郗萌曰：“太白守東井、一東一西、一南一北，男子不得耕，女子不得織。”巫咸曰：“太白守東井，邑君失政，大人當之，大臣為盜，有誅者。”又占曰：“太白守東井，為萬物不成，若失火。”郗萌曰：“太白守東井，兵起東南。”石氏曰：“太白入若守東井中，大臣為盜。”郗萌曰：“太白犯乘守井、鉞，為其國內亂兵起。”《黃帝占》曰：“太白入犯井、鉞，為臣誅。”郗萌曰：“太白入若犯鉞，將誅。”石曰：“太白犯守鉞，有兵起，不出其年。”

Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus stays in the Well mansion, it indicates drought. Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus stays in the Well mansion for ten days without leaving, it indicates ministers will be punished for this reason; if it stays for thirty days without leaving, it indicates strange water will surge out, and there will be a lot of construction projects involving earth and wood that year. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus stays in the Well mansion, moving east and west, south and north, it indicates men cannot till the land, and women cannot weave cloth. Wu Xian said: When the planet Venus stays in the Well mansion, it indicates the ruler of the city and state will lose power, and the matter will be related to a great person, ministers will commit theft, and some will be executed. Another divination says: When the planet Venus stays in the Well mansion, it indicates all things will not be completed, or there will be a fire. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus stays in the Well mansion, it indicates war will start in the southeast. Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus enters or stays in the Well mansion, it indicates ministers will commit theft. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus invades, overpowers, or stays in the Well mansion and the钺 star, it indicates internal disorder and war in that country. The Yellow Emperor's divination says: When the planet Venus enters and invades the Well mansion and the钺 star, it indicates ministers will be executed. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus enters or invades the钺 star, it indicates generals will be executed. Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus invades or stays in the钺 star, it indicates military affairs will arise, not later than this year.

甘氏曰：“太白犯輿鬼、質，將戮。”（司馬彪《天文志》曰：“孝安永初三年六月癸酉、太白入輿鬼，為將凶、後中郎將任尚坐賊侵，其年檻車徵棄市也。）《荊州占》曰：“太白入輿鬼，將誅。”陳卓曰：“太白入輿鬼，兵革起。”石氏曰：“太白犯天尸，將軍有憂，其主廢。”齊伯曰：“太白犯入輿鬼，以罪斬大臣，（案司馬彪《天文志》曰：孝桓延熹八年五月癸酉，六月壬戌，太白行入輿鬼，九年十一月，太原郡守劉瓚等坐殺無辜，荊州刺史李隗為賊所拘，皆葉市。永康元年十二月、大將軍寶武、尚書令尹勳，黃門令山冰等皆枉死也。）若五十日不下，且有大喪。”石氏曰：“太白入輿鬼西北，婦人多兵死。”

Gan De said: When the planet Venus enters the Ghost Mansion constellation and its central star "Zhi" (i.e., Jizhi qi), it indicates that generals will be killed. (Original note: Sima Biao's "Continued Book of Han: Records of Astronomy" states that in the sixth month of the third year of Emperor Huan of Han's Yongchu era, Venus entered the Ghost Mansion constellation, indicating misfortune for generals; later, General Ren Shang was convicted of embezzlement and plundering, and was sent back to the capital in a囚车, and executed in the public square.) The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When Venus enters the Ghost Mansion constellation, generals will be executed. Chen Zhuo said: When Venus enters the Ghost Mansion constellation, wars will break out. Shi Shen said: When Venus invades the heavenly corpse star, generals will have worries, and their sovereign will be deposed. Qi Bo said: When Venus invades and enters the Ghost Mansion constellation, it indicates that ministers will be executed according to their crimes. (Original note: According to Sima Biao's "Continued Book of Han: Records of Astronomy," in the fifth and sixth months of the eighth year of Emperor Huan of Han's Yanzhi era, Venus moved into the Ghost Mansion constellation; in the eleventh month of the ninth year, the governor of Taiyuan Commandery Liu Zan and others were convicted of killing innocents, and the governor of Jingzhou, Li Wei, was captured by bandits and executed in the public square. In the twelfth month of the first year of Yongkang, Grand General Dou Wu, Minister of the Secretariat Yin Xun, and the Gatekeeper of the Palace Mountain Bing and others were all executed unjustly.) If Venus does not leave within fifty days, there will be a great mourning. Shi Shen said: When Venus enters the northwest part of the Ghost Mansion constellation, many women will die in wars.

郗萌曰：“太白入輿鬼，為大人卒，事以命終。”（案司馬彪《天文志》曰：“孝質本初元年四月辛巳，太白入輿鬼、閏月一日、孝質帝為梁冀所鴆之驗。）《郗萌占》曰：“太白入輿鬼，歲惡，婦人多懷子而死者。”《荊州占》曰：“太白入輿鬼，亂臣在內，有屠城。”（案檀道鸞《晉陽秋》曰：孝武太元二年四月戊戌，太白入輿鬼，四年二月，襄陽城陷，四月，魏興城崩，五月，彭超攻陷盱眙城。）《南官候》曰：“太白入輿鬼、犯積尸，國有大喪；大兵起，將軍有戰，人多死，白骨滿野，無有葬者；期二年。”郗萌曰：“太白舍輿鬼東北，天下多梟死者；一曰有兵。”郗萌曰：“太白舍輿鬼中央，左右群臣有伏劍，若吞藥而死者。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus enters the Ghost Mansion, it indicates the sudden death of a high official, and the matter ends in death. (Original note: According to司马彪's "Continued Book of Han · Records of Astronomy," in the first year of the Benchou era of Emperor Zhi of the Han Dynasty, on the fourth month's Xinsi day, the planet Venus entered the Ghost Mansion. On the first day of the leap month, Emperor Zhi was poisoned to death by Liang Ji, which was a fulfillment of this prediction.) The "Xi Meng Divination" says: When the planet Venus enters the Ghost Mansion, it indicates a poor harvest, and many women die while pregnant. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the planet Venus enters the Ghost Mansion, it indicates the presence of rebellious ministers within the court, and there will be the calamity of city destruction. (Original note: According to檀道鸾's "Jingyang Spring," in the second year of Taoyuan of Emperor Xiaowu of the Jin Dynasty, on the fourth month's Wuxu day, the planet Venus entered the Ghost Mansion. In the fourth year, the city of Xiangyang fell in February, the city of Weixing collapsed in April, and the city of Xuyi was captured by Peng Chao in May.) The "Nan Gao Hou" says: When the planet Venus enters the Ghost Mansion and invades the Accumulated Corpse Qi, it indicates a great mourning in the country; large-scale military actions will arise, generals will engage in battle, many people will die, and the bones will be scattered everywhere, unburied; the duration is two years. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus remains in the northeastern part of the Ghost Mansion, it indicates that many people will be beheaded across the country; another interpretation is that there will be military conflict. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus remains in the central part of the Ghost Mansion, it indicates that among the ministers close to the monarch, some will commit suicide by drawing their swords or die from taking poison.

郗萌曰：“太白出入留舍輿鬼，五十日不下，民大疾，死而不收。”（案《宋書天文志》曰：孝武孝建三年四月戊戌，太白犯輿鬼，明年夏，京邑疾疫。明帝泰始四年六月壬寅、太白又犯輿鬼、其年普天下大半疾疫也。）《南官候》曰：“太白出入留舍輿鬼，五十日不下，國兵起，開庫發卒。”石氏曰：“太白守輿鬼，有兵災；若旱，多火災，萬物五穀不成。”郗萌曰：“太白守輿鬼傍，萬民當之。”石氏曰：“太白守輿鬼，大人有祭祀之事。”《海中占》曰：“太白守輿鬼，出其南，水；出其北，旱。”《南官候》曰：“太白久守輿鬼，病在女主；其留二十日以上，有喪；期八月。”

Xi Meng said: The planet Venus stays in the Ghost Mansion constellation for fifty days without leaving, indicating that the common people will suffer from a great outbreak of illness, and the dead will be left unburied. (Original note: According to the "Celestial Officials" section of the "Book of Song," in the third year of Xiaowu Emperor's Xiaojian reign in April, on the Wuxu day, the planet Venus invaded the Ghost Mansion constellation, and in the following summer, an epidemic broke out in the capital city. In the sixth month of the fourth year of Taishi Emperor's reign on the Renyin day, the planet Venus invaded the Ghost Mansion constellation again, and that year, epidemics occurred in most parts of the country.) The "Southern Officials Manual" said: When the planet Venus enters and stays in the Ghost Mansion constellation for fifty days without leaving, it indicates that war will break out in the country, the military storehouses will be opened, and soldiers will be mobilized. Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus remains in the Ghost Mansion constellation, it indicates there will be military calamities; or it may indicate drought and frequent fires, with all things and crops failing to mature. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus remains near the Ghost Mansion constellation, the events will affect the common people. Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus remains in the Ghost Mansion constellation, it indicates that there will be important sacrificial events for the high officials. The "Sea Divination" said: When the planet Venus remains in the Ghost Mansion constellation, if it appears to the south of it, it indicates water; if it appears to the north of it, it indicates drought. The "Southern Officials Manual" said: When the planet Venus stays in the Ghost Mansion constellation for a long time, the illness will affect the female ruler; if it stays for more than twenty days, there will be mourning events, with a duration of eight months.

《玉曆》曰：“太白行守輿鬼，成勾巳，若環繞之，國有死王，大臣有戮者；五十日不下，人民死者大半。”《郗萌占》曰：“太白入若守輿鬼，為主憂，財寶出，亂臣在內，若大臣謀，有干鉞棄質者，君貴人憂，金玉用，民多疾；南入為男，北入為女，西入為老人，東入為丁壯；棺木倍貴。”《荊州占》曰：“太白乾犯守輿鬼，隨所守，王者發之，不出七十日，其下國有大喪；陽為人君；陰為皇后；左為太子；右為貴臣。”郗萌曰：“太白輿鬼斗，不出其年，有反臣。”

The Zhi Li says: When the planet Venus moves and stays in the Ghost Mansion constellation, forming the shape of 'gou si', or orbits around it once, it indicates that there will be the death of a king within the country and the execution of a high official. If it remains for fifty days, it indicates that half of the people will die. The Xi Meng divination says: When the planet Venus enters or stays in the Ghost Mansion constellation, the ruler will have worries, treasures will flow out, there will be disloyal ministers in the court, or high officials will plot, some will be punished with the death penalty and their bodies will be discarded on the execution ground. The ruler and the nobleman will have worries, gold and jade will be used, and the people will suffer from many diseases. When the planet Venus enters from the south, it relates to men; from the north, to women; from the west, to the elderly; from the east, to the young. The price of coffins will double. The Jing Zhou divination says: When the planet Venus interferes with and stays in the Ghost Mansion constellation, according to the different parts it stays in, the king will issue corresponding orders. Within seventy days, the country corresponding to its position will suffer a great mourning. The yang position relates to the king, the yin position to the empress, the left to the crown prince, and the right to the high minister. Xi Meng says: When the planet Venus conflicts with the Ghost Mansion constellation like a battle, within this year, there will be rebellious ministers.

《南官候》曰：“太白犯柳，有木功事；若名木見伐者。”郗萌曰：“太白入柳、天庫，兵起西北方；又曰大人守禦。”《南官候》曰：“太白入注，兵大起，有益地者。”《海中占》曰：“太白逆行入柳，成鉤巳，下刑上，臣謀主，民有怨仇，多暴死。”《春秋文曜鉤》曰：“殘百姓，誅名臣，則太白入柳。”石氏曰：“太白去柳一尺，國有專臣，專命無忌。”《荊州占》曰：“太白提天相出入，有陰謀。”《南官候》曰：“太白逆乘注，下刑上，民多怨仇暴死者。”又占曰：“太白抵柳，出入，陰謀其主，諸侯應其急。”

The Southern Officials' Divination says: When the planet Venus invades the Willow Mansion, there will be construction projects involving timber or the felling of valuable trees. Xi Meng says: When Venus enters the Willow Mansion and the Heavenly Storehouse Star, there will be warfare in the Northwest, and high-ranking officials will strengthen their defenses. The Southern Officials' Divination also says: When Venus enters the Note Star (the Willow Mansion is also called the Note Star), there will be large-scale military actions and territorial expansion. The Sea Divination says: When Venus retrogrades and enters the Willow Mansion, forming the shape of a hook and a snake, there will be subordinates punishing superiors, ministers plotting against the sovereign, mutual hatred among the people, and many sudden deaths. The Spring and Celestial Hooks says: When there is harm to the people and the execution of renowned ministers, Venus will enter the Willow Mansion. Shi Shen says: When Venus is one foot away from the Willow Mansion, there will be a minister who holds power alone, acting arbitrarily and without restraint. The Jingzhou Divination says: When Venus holds the Seal Star and Star of Livelihood and moves in and out among them, there will be plots. The Southern Officials' Divination also says: When Venus retrogrades and invades the Note Star, there will be subordinates punishing superiors, and many people will die from mutual hatred. Another divination says: When Venus collides with the Willow Mansion and moves in and out among them, there will be someone secretly plotting against the sovereign, and the feudal lords will come to his aid.

甘氏曰：“太白守柳，將軍受賀，王者封臣。”石氏曰：“太白守柳，戰大勝，大得地。”《海中占》曰：“太白守柳，兵大起，一歲罷，若小旱，傷五穀。”《南官候》曰：“太白守柳，為反臣中外兵，以德令解之。”《南官候》曰：“太白守柳，兵起，一歲大益也。”郗萌曰：“太白守柳，敵不安。”齊伯曰：“太白守柳，秦兵且至，無王者。”巫咸曰：“太白犯守注，有急兵；若有變更之令，下陵上，君弱臣強，奸臣賊子謀殺其主。”郗萌曰：“太白守柳，人民多狂。”《荊州占》曰：“太白迫守柳、大將軍出。”

Gan De said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates the general will be celebrated, and the king will grant fiefs to his ministers. Shi Shen said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates a great victory in battle and the acquisition of much land. The book of Sea Divination said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates a great rise in military affairs, which will subside after one year; or it may indicate a minor drought, damaging the grain. The book of Southern Officials said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates that rebellious ministers conspire with both inside and outside forces to raise an army, and the government should use benevolent policies to resolve the situation. The book of Southern Officials said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates the rise of military affairs, and within one year there will be significant gains. Xi Meng said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates that the enemy will not be at peace. Qi Bo said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates that the army of Qin will be coming, and there will be no true ruler in the country. Wu Xian said: When the planet of metal invades and stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates urgent military affairs; or it may indicate changes in government orders, with subordinates surpassing superiors, the king being weak and ministers strong, and wicked ministers plotting to kill their sovereign. Xi Meng said: When the planet of metal stays in the mansion of willow, it indicates that the people will suffer from many cases of madness. The book of Jingzhou Divination said: When the planet of metal approaches the mansion of willow, it indicates that the grand general will go to war.

郗萌曰：“太白犯七星，臣為亂。”甘氏曰：“太白入七星，有君置太子者。”郗萌曰：“太白出七星，太子且立。”石氏曰：“太白去七星一尺，國致七十二人。”郗萌曰：“太白提天都，出入，歲旱惡。”《荊州占》曰：“太白經七星，民非吾民；一曰當有詐為王者。”郗萌曰：“太白犯守七星，兵大起，曝巫移市。”又占曰：“太白留七星中央，為天下大憂。”齊伯曰：“太白出入留舍七星，三十日不下，兵且起；六十日不下，必有破國、亡王、死將；八十日不下，三年兵起，期在春；一曰有急令、期不出年。”

Xi Meng said: The planet Venus invading the Seven Stars mansion indicates that ministers and subordinates will rebel. Gan De said: When the planet Venus enters the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that the king will appoint a crown prince. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus exits the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that the crown prince will be appointed. Shi Shen said: When the planet Venus is one chi away from the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that the country will attract seventy-two virtuous men. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus holds the Tian Du star and moves in and out between them, it indicates severe drought in the same year. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the planet Venus passes through the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that the people will no longer be citizens of their own country; another interpretation says there will be someone who falsely claims to be the king. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus invades the Seven Stars mansion where the garrison is stationed, it indicates major military conflicts, and there will be exposure of witches to pray for rain and relocation of markets to ward off disasters. Another divination says: When the planet Venus stays in the center of the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates great worries throughout the world. Qi Bo said: When the planet Venus enters, exits, and stays in the Seven Stars mansion for thirty days without leaving, it indicates that military conflicts will arise; if it stays for sixty days without leaving, there will certainly be the fall of a country, the defeat of the king, and the death of generals; if it stays for eighty days without leaving, there will be military conflicts within three years, occurring in the spring; another interpretation says there will be urgent government orders, and the deadline will not exceed one year.

《黃帝占》曰：“太白守七星，不出二十日，有兵。”又占曰：“太白守七星，二十日以上，有急兵。”石氏曰：“太白守七星，兵渡津橋者，大凶。”甘氏曰：“太白守七星，將軍納忠，國君有德。”巫咸曰：“太白守七星，兵大起；又為水，萬物五穀不成。”郗萌曰：“太白守七星，國失政，大人當之。”郗萌曰：“太白守七星，戰大勝，天子益地。”《荊州占》曰：“太白守七星，七日以上，至三十日，大將軍出。”又占曰：“太白守七星，車騎滿野；又曰行天都，王者憂。”《南官候》曰：“太白守七星，為反臣中外兵，以德令解之。”

The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the planet Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, there will be military affairs within twenty days. Another divination says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion for more than twenty days, there will be urgent military affairs. Shi Shen says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that armies will cross rivers and bridges, which is a great misfortune. Gan De says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that generals will present loyal advice, and the king will have virtue. Wu Xian says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates a great outbreak of military affairs; it also indicates floods, and all things and the five grains will not mature. Xi Meng says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that the country will lose its authority, and the matter will concern a great person. Xi Meng also says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates a great victory in battle, and the Son of Heaven will add territory. The Jiangzhou Divination says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion for more than seven days but less than thirty days, it indicates that a grand general will go on a campaign. Another divination says: When Venus remains in the Seven Stars mansion, it indicates that chariots, horses, and cavalry will fill the plains; it also says that when Venus moves to the Tian Du star, the king will have worries. Wu Xian says: When Venus stays in the mansion of Zhang Xu, there will certainly be a great flood, frequent water disasters, and the growth of all things and grains will be hindered, causing the people to worry about food. Shi Shen says: When Venus remains in the Wings mansion for more than three days, it indicates that ministers will not follow the proper conduct of their positions; another interpretation suggests that ministers will rebel. Wu Xian says: When Venus remains in the Wings mansion, it indicates that there will be a minister who rebels within the country and starts military actions. Xi Meng says: When Venus remains in the Wings mansion, it indicates that military affairs will greatly arise among the four directions, the five grains will be damaged by wind, and the people will suffer from many diseases. The book "Yulü" says: When Venus remains in the Wings mansion, it indicates there will be urgent matters or a great wind. Qi Bo says: When Venus remains in the Wings mansion, it indicates that ministers will not obey the commands of the sovereign, and the sovereign will have worries. 石氏曰：“太白守軫，其國兵起，得地。”《海中占》曰：“太白犯軫、將軍為亂，其國兵起，臣欲謀君，賊人謀貴人，后死；一曰去之一尺，天下大飢，期不出百八十日。”巫咸曰：“太白入軫中，伺其出日而數之，期二十日，為兵發；伺始入處之率，一日期十日，軍罷。”《黃帝占》曰：“太白犯守軫，兵起西方。”郗萌曰：“太白出入留舍軫；（軫分，為楚府廷；太白，秦國之星也）主金行軫，客兵來過楚矣，必有死主。”

Wu Xian said: When the planet Venus enters the Chariot mansion, one should observe the day it exits to calculate, taking twenty days as a period, there will be military actions; then according to the position where it first entered, calculate the ratio, one day corresponds to ten days, indicating the army will disband. The "Yellow Emperor Divination" says: When the planet Venus invades and remains in the Chariot mansion, it indicates military actions will start in the west. Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus enters and stays in the Chariot mansion, since the Chariot mansion's territory corresponds to the state of Chu, and the planet Venus belongs to the state of Qin, it indicates that the metal-related star of the state of Qin will move to the Chariot mansion, and the enemy's army will attack the land of Chu, and there will certainly be the death of a sovereign.

The Southern Officials' Divination says: When the planet Venus stays in the Chariot mansion, it indicates that great military actions will arise, and there will be the loss of land over a thousand li. It is also feared that there will be a great mourning. Another divination says: When the planet Venus stays in the Chariot mansion, it indicates that military plans will be launched, and someone will hold a mandate to replace the ruler. When the planet Venus enters the Chariot mansion, it indicates that war will break out, the state will change its policies, and there will be princes who come forward on their own to submit, receiving mandates from the ruler. Men will achieve meritorious deeds and there will be joyous occasions of granting titles. Soldiers will be engaged in distant campaigns, and the feudal lords will respond with military force. When the state of Cao Wei transferred the imperial throne to the state of Jin, at that time the planet Venus entered the Chariot mansion and remained there, moving forward to the position between Wu and Wei, lasting over twenty days. Two years before the state of Jin replaced the state of Wu, the planet Venus again entered the Chariot mansion.

《荊州占》曰：“太白守軫，將軍有疾。”《玄冥占》曰：“太白入守軫中央，兵起，國易政，亡地千里；若有大喪，士卒有遠征之役，吳楚當受其兵，期二年。”郗萌曰：“太白起左角，逆行至軫，國亡地。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet Venus stays at the "Chariot Mansion" and does not depart, it indicates that the general in charge of the military will fall ill. The *Xuanming Divination* says: When Venus enters and stays at the center of the Chariot Mansion, it signifies the outbreak of warfare, changes in state policies, and the loss of territory over a thousand li; or there may be a national mourning event, with soldiers having to undertake a distant campaign. The regions of Wu and Chu will be the first to suffer from this military calamity, and the fulfillment of this prophecy will occur within two years. Xi Meng says: When Venus starts from the "Left Horn" — the star on the left side of the Horn Mansion — and moves retrograde to reach the Chariot Mansion, it indicates the loss of territory by the state.

《聖洽符》曰：“太白入犯攝提，兵起滿野，強臣謀主。若守衛臣有謀，期二年。”

The Shengqia Fu states: When the planet Venus intrudes upon and offends the "Shetí" stars—six stars arranged on either side of the Big Dipper, which are responsible for establishing the seasons and issuing the calendar—the result is widespread warfare across the land, with ambitious ministers plotting against the sovereign. If Venus remains stationed at Shetí without departing, then the palace guards and close attendants harbor treacherous intentions. This omen will manifest within two years.

郗萌曰：“太白守大角，兵大用，有國亡。”《荊州占》曰：“太白守大角，兵大動。”《文曜鉤》曰：“太白守犯大角，天下亂，大兵起，強臣謀主，若貴人被戮，期一年。”《海中占》曰：“太白犯守大角，臣謀主，有兵起，人主憂，王者戒慎左右；期不出百八十日，遠一年。”

Xi Meng said: When the planet Venus stops at the Big Dipper, it indicates a large-scale military campaign and the downfall of a state. The "Jingzhou Divination" states: When Venus stops at the Big Dipper, there will be major military movements. The "Wenyao Gou" says: When Venus stops at and invades the Big Dipper, there will be great chaos throughout the land, large armies will rise, ambitious ministers will plot against the ruler, or prominent people will be killed. This will be fulfilled within a year. The "Hai Zhong Divination" says: When Venus invades and stops at the Big Dipper, it indicates ministers plotting against the ruler, military actions will arise, and the ruler will be troubled. The king should be especially cautious and vigilant about his close ministers. This will be fulfilled within a period of no more than 180 days, or up to a year.

巫咸曰：“太白犯守梗河，國有謀兵，四夷兵起，來侵中國，邊境有憂。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Venus offends and halts at "Geng He" — Geng He consists of three stars located north of the Big Dipper's handle, indicating the military forces and conflicts of the Hu people; the original text of this heading was written as "Geng He," while the commonly circulated version reads "Ging He," which matches the citation here — this indicates that there are people within the state plotting to raise an army, and the four surrounding barbarian tribes will mobilize their forces to invade the Central Plains, causing troubles at the border regions.

《聖洽符》曰：“太白犯招搖，邊兵大起，敵人為寇；若守之，敵兵敗，若其王死，期不出三年。”《荊州占》曰：“太白守招搖，旗幟起。”甘氏曰：“太白入守招搖。天下兵大起，非一國，遠夷為亂，欲侵中國，人主有憂，期一年。”

The Shengqia Fu says: When the planet Venus encroaches upon the star Zhao Yao, which is located outside the end of the Big Dipper's handle and shares the same ruling with the star Geng He, it indicates major warfare on the borders, and enemies invading as bandits. If Venus remains stationary upon Zhao Yao without moving away, then the enemy army will suffer defeat, or the king of the enemy country will die. This prediction will come true within three years. The Jingzhou Zhuan says: When Venus stops at Zhao Yao, it signifies the raising of banners and the mobilization of troops. The Gan school says: When Venus enters and stops at Zhao Yao, it indicates a large-scale military campaign across the country, and not just one country will do so. Distant barbarians will cause disturbances, attempting to invade the Central Plains, causing the ruler to worry. This prediction will come true within one year.

巫咸曰：“太白犯守天槍，邊兵起，槍大用，防戍有憂；若誅邊臣，期不出年。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Venus offends and halts at the 'Heavenly Lance' — the Heavenly Lance consists of three stars located to the north of the Big Dipper's handle, symbolizing weapons such as long spears — this indicates military campaigns in remote regions, with a large use of spears and pikes, and there will be worries about border defenses; or the generals stationed at the border will be executed, and the fulfillment of this omen will not exceed one year.

巫咸曰：“太白犯守天棓，邊夷起，機棓大用，防戍有憂；若誅邊臣，期不出年。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Venus offends and halts at the position of the Heavenly Pole Star — the Heavenly Pole Star consists of five stars located north of the Female Bed [constellation], and the pole star is a type of weapon, a rod or stick — this indicates rebellion by distant barbarians, with a large use of crossbows and sticks and other weapons, and there will be worries for the border garrisons; or a general on the border will be executed, and the fulfillment of this omen will not take more than one year.

《荊州占》曰：“太白犯女床，凶；若守女床，宮有變害；若被誅。”甘氏曰：“太白守犯女床，兵起宮中，若后有誅，期百八十日，遠一年。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet Venus encroaches upon "Nucang" — Nucang consists of three stars located to the east of Ji star, governing the concubines and palace women — it indicates misfortune; if Venus stops at Nucang without moving away, there will be calamity within the palace, or someone may be executed. The Gan school says: When Venus stops and encroaches upon Nucang, it foretells a rebellion within the palace or the execution of the queen's faction. The fulfillment period is one hundred and eighty days, or possibly a year.

石氏曰：“太白犯七公，群臣有誅。”《黃帝占》曰：“太白守七公，為飢；君不安。”石氏曰：“太白犯守七公，輔臣有誅，議臣相疑；若有誅者，人主有憂。”甘氏曰：“太白犯守七公，兵革大起，大臣有誅；若有戮死者，期不出年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Venus encroaches upon the Seven Ministers, which are located east of Zhayaohao, symbolizing the Three Grand Ministers and advisors of the Son of Heaven, who are officials responsible for discussing state affairs, it indicates that there will be executions among the ministers. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When Venus stops at the Seven Ministers, it presages famine and unrest for the ruler. The Shi school says: When Venus encroaches upon and stops at the Seven Ministers, it indicates that the chief ministers will be executed, and officials involved in state deliberations will suspect one another. If indeed someone is executed, the ruler will also be troubled by this. The Gan school says: When Venus encroaches upon and stops at the Seven Ministers, it indicates great warfare and the execution of some ministers. If there are actual deaths, the fulfillment of the prediction will not be more than one year.

巫咸曰：“太白犯守貴索，天下亂，兵起，多有獄事，貴人有死者。”石氏曰：“太白入貫索中，犯乘守，以獄為亂。”《玄冥占》曰：“太白犯守天牢，以獄起兵，大人憂。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Venus offends and halts at "Guisuo"—here "Guisuo" refers to the "Guan Suo" mentioned in the heading of this section. Guan Suo consists of nine stars forming a chain-like shape, and it is a heavenly prison—this indicates great chaos throughout the realm, the outbreak of military conflicts, frequent litigation cases, and the death of some prominent individuals. The Shi school said: When Venus enters Guan Suo, or offends, dominates, or halts within it, it signifies chaos caused by wrongful legal judgments and abuses of justice. The Xuan Ming Zhuan said: When Venus offends and halts at "Tian Luo," it indicates military conflicts arising from litigation, causing anxiety among those in high positions.

《荊州占》曰：“太白守天紀，有兵亂。”石氏曰：“太白守天紀，倖臣執權，有兵起，王者有憂；若犯守，大臣為亂，兵起宮中；若有大旱之災，人民大飢。”

The *Jingzhou Divination* says: When the planet Venus stops at "Tianji" — Tianji consists of nine stars located east of Guansuo, governing the principles and laws, and judging the right and wrong of all things — it indicates there will be military turmoil. The Shi school says: When Venus stops at Tianji, it signifies that favored ministers will seize power, military actions will arise, and the ruler will face troubles; if Venus both offends and stops at Tianji, then ministers will rebel, and military disturbances will occur within the palace; or there may be a great drought, leading to severe famine among the people.

巫咸曰：“太白守織女，后有誅者。”《黃帝占》曰：“太白犯守織女，天下有女憂，有兵起，不出其年。”

Wu Xian said: The planet Venus stops at 'Zhi Nu' — Zhi Nu consists of three stars located east of Tian Ji, being the daughter of the Heavenly Emperor, governing fruits, silk, and treasures — indicating that someone from the line of the empress will be executed. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When Venus intrudes and stops at Zhi Nu, it signifies that women throughout the land will suffer calamity, and military conflicts will arise, but the prophecy will not be fulfilled in the same year.

《海中占》曰：“太白入天市，國有謀兵，將相有戮死者，期百八十日。”郗萌曰：“太白入天市中，五官有憂；一曰將有憂；一曰大臣戮，若糴貴。”《文曜鉤》曰：“太白入居守天市中，驚國，有謀兵，鐵鉞用，後大起，期不出三年。”巫咸曰：“太白入天市而守之，相坐之，有兵起，貴人有憂；若誅，期二年。”郗萌曰：“太白入，若守天市，諸侯貴人，必有戮者；一曰更幣。”

The Sea of Divination says: When the planet Venus enters the "Heavenly Market Enclosure," which consists of twenty-two stars arranged like a wall, representing the capital where the sovereign gathers feudal lords and conducts trade, it signifies that within the country there will be someone plotting to raise an army, and among the ministers there will be someone who dies by violence. The period of fulfillment is one hundred and eighty days. Xi Meng says: When Venus enters the Heavenly Market Enclosure, those holding positions in the five ministries will be troubled; another interpretation is that generals will be troubled; yet another is that a high official will be killed, or grain prices will rise sharply. The Wen Yao Gou says: When Venus enters and stays within the Heavenly Market Enclosure, the whole country will be shocked, there will be plots to raise an army, frequent use of weapons and executions will occur, and afterwards great chaos will arise. The period of fulfillment will not exceed three years. Wu Xian says: When Venus enters and stays within the Heavenly Market Enclosure, the chancellor will be implicated in a crime and suffer punishment, military troubles will arise, and the powerful will be anxious and fearful. If it leads to execution, the period of fulfillment will be two years. Xi Meng says: When Venus enters or stays within the Heavenly Market Enclosure, among the feudal lords and noblemen there will certainly be someone who is killed; another interpretation is that there will be a change in the currency system.

《海中占》曰：“太白犯帝座，大臣為亂，強臣謀主，有兵；期不出年。”石氏曰：“太白犯帝座，有逆亂事。”

The Sea of Divination says: When the planet Venus approaches the position of the Emperor's Seat—the single star located at the center of the Heavenly Market Enclosure, which is the seat of the heavenly emperor—it indicates that ministers will rebel, and powerful ministers will plot against the sovereign, with military conflicts; the fulfillment of this omen will not take more than a year. The Shi school says: When Venus approaches the Emperor's Seat, it indicates rebellion and disorder will occur.

石氏曰：“太白犯守候星，諸侯起兵，有千里之行，政令急，民多苦。”《海中占》曰：“太白犯守候星，陰陽不和，五穀傷，人民大飢，有兵起。”

The Shi school says: When the planet of metal approaches and halts at the 'waiting star,' the waiting star is located to the northeast of the imperial seat, and its function is to observe yin and yang and watch the clouds and winds. This indicates that princes will raise armies and launch military campaigns thousands of miles away, with harsh decrees and severe governance, causing the people to suffer greatly. The book Hai Zhong Zhan says: When the planet of metal approaches and halts at the waiting star, it signifies a disruption of yin and yang, damage to the five grains, and a great famine among the people, along with the outbreak of military conflicts.

石氏曰：“太白守宦者，凶。”甘氏曰：“太白犯宦者，左右輔臣有謀，若戮死，期不出年。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Venus stops at the position of the 'Eunuchs', which are four stars located southwest of the Imperial Seat, representing attendants within the palace, it indicates an ominous omen. The Gan school says: When Venus intrudes upon the Eunuch star, it signifies that the ministers assisting the sovereign are secretly plotting, or may suffer death by violence. The fulfillment of this omen will occur within a year.

石氏曰：“太白守斗星者，凶。”

The Shi school says: The planet Venus stops at the 'Dou Star' and does not depart—this Dou refers to the five stars of the Dou constellation within the Tianshi垣, which governs weighing and measuring, and is distinct from the Big Dipper and the Southern Dipper—this is an omen of danger.

石氏曰：“太白守宗正，左右群臣多死者；若更政令，人主有憂。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Venus stops at 'Zongzheng' — which refers to two stars located to the southeast of the Imperial Seat, officials in charge of royal family affairs — it indicates that many ministers close to the monarch will die; or that government orders are frequently changed, causing the monarch to be anxious.

石氏曰：“太白犯宗人，親族貴人憂，若有死者；一曰主親有離絕。”

The Shi school says: The planet Venus offending the "Zongren" stars — the four Zongren stars are located east of Zongzheng, governing the rituals and hierarchy of the royal family — indicates anxiety or death among noblemen within the royal clan; another interpretation is that there will be discord and estrangement among the king's relatives.

甘氏曰：“太白犯守宗星，宗室之臣，有分離者。”《玄冥占》曰：“太白觸抵宗星，倖臣有誅者，期二年。”

The Gan school says: The planet Venus offends and halts at the 'Zong Star' — the two Zong stars are located east of the waiting star, symbolizing branches of the royal family — indicating that among ministers of royal lineage, there will be someone who is separated and estranged. The "Xuanming Divination" states: When Venus collides with and offends the Zong Star, it signifies that among favored ministers, someone will be executed. This prediction is fulfilled within two years.

石氏曰：“太白守東西咸，女主憂誅，若貴女有戮死，期二年。”《荊州占》曰：“太白守東西咸，憂兵起。”石氏曰：“太白守犯東西咸者，為臣不從令，有陰私。”

The Shi school says: When the planet Venus stops at "Dong Xian" and "Xi Xian"—each consisting of four stars, located above the Room Mansion, serving as a gate to prevent licentiousness—it indicates that a female ruler will be anxious and face execution, or a woman of high status will be killed. This occurs within a period of two years. The Jiangzhou Divination says: When the planet Venus stops at Dong Xian and Xi Xian, it signifies anxiety over military conflicts. The Shi school also says: When the planet Venus stops and intrudes upon Dong Xian and Xi Xian, it indicates that ministers will not obey the king's orders and will secretly engage in private affairs.

陳卓曰：“太白守天江，暴水為害，不出其年。”巫氏曰：“太白犯守天江，天下有水；若入之，水齊城郭，人飢亡，去其鄉。”（《宋書天文志》：晉穆帝永和十一年八月巳未，太白犯天江，占曰：河津不通，昇平元年，慕容遂臨漳有幽並青冀之地，緣河諸將漸奔散，津河隔絕矣。）

Chen Zhuo said: The planet Venus stopping at "Tianjiang" — Tianjiang consists of four stars located north of the Tail mansion, governing rivers and ferry crossings — indicates a flood causing disaster, but this prediction did not come true in the same year. Wu Shi said: If the planet Venus offends and stops at Tianjiang, it signifies a great flood occurring throughout the land; if Venus enters Tianjiang, great waters will reach the level of city walls, people will suffer from famine and be forced to leave their homeland. A note in the original text cites the "Song Shu · Tianwen Zhi": In the eighth month of the tenth year of Emperor Mu of the Jin Dynasty's Yonghe era, on the day of Ji Wei, the planet Venus offended Tianjiang, and the divination text predicted that the ferry crossings of the Yellow River would become impassable; by the first year of Shengping, the Murong clan controlled Linzhang, taking over the regions of You, Bing, Qing, and Ji, and the commanders defending along the Yellow River successively fled and dispersed, and the ferry crossings of the Yellow River were thus cut off.

陳卓曰：“太白犯建星，大臣相譖。”郗萌曰：“太白入建星，外國使來見主；出建星，主遣使至國，期皆三十日。”《黃帝占》曰：“太白守建星，滿二十日，必大赦。”巫咸曰：“太白入建星，若守之，兵起，關道不通；若有外國使來者，期一年。”

Chen Zhuo said: When the planet Venus offends the "Jian Star"—which consists of six stars located north of the Southern Dipper, representing the heavenly capital, symbolizing banners and gates—it indicates that ministers will slander each other. Xi Meng said: When Venus enters the Jian Star, it signifies that envoys from foreign countries will come to pay homage to the sovereign; when Venus leaves the Jian Star, it indicates that the sovereign will send envoys to other countries. Both situations will manifest within thirty days. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When Venus remains stationary in the Jian Star for twenty days, a great amnesty will certainly be proclaimed. Wu Xian said: When Venus enters the Jian Star or remains stationary there, it indicates the outbreak of military conflicts and the blocking of passes and roads; or it may signify the arrival of foreign envoys, and the fulfillment of these omens will take one year.

甘氏曰：“太白犯天弁，若守之，則囚徒兵起；一曰五穀不成，糴大貴，人民飢。”

The Gan school says: The planet Venus offends the "Tian Bian" - the Tian Bian consists of nine stars located north of the Jian star, representing the hats worn by officials in charge of markets, governing market transactions - if Venus further stops there, it indicates prisoners' riots and the outbreak of military conflicts; another interpretation is that there will be a poor harvest of grain, with the price of grain rising sharply, leading the people into famine.
