The four stars of Shao Wei are located to the west of Tai Wei Yuan, representing the positions of reclusive scholars, advisors, and doctoral officials, and they oversee the selection of virtuous talents. Shi Shen said: if the water star enters Shao Wei, the ruler should seek out capable ministers. If he does not seek capable ministers, there will be loss of authority and being deprived of power. He also said: if one violates and occupies Shao Wei, it indicates that renowned scholars will suffer misfortune, the king will employ petty men, loyal ministers will be falsely accused, and even people may die. It also indicates disorder among the five officials, replacement of the prime minister, and worries about military conflicts.

石氏曰：“辰星入，中犯乘守少微，宰相易；一曰女主憂，不出其年。”《帝覽嬉》曰：“行犯左右執法，為大臣有憂。”郗萌曰：“犯左右執法，執法者誅，若有罪；又曰犯天庭，臣為亂。”

Shi Shen said: The water star entering the Xiaowei constellation, appearing directly in the middle, offending, overpowering, and staying above it, indicates a change in the prime minister; another interpretation says that a female ruler will have worries, but the predicted time does not occur in the same year. The "Imperial Leisure" said: When the star moves and offends the Left and Right Law Officials in the Taimei constellation, it indicates that ministers will have worries. Xi Meng said: Offending the Left and Right Law Officials indicates that the officials in charge of law enforcement will be executed or punished; he also said that offending the Heavenly Court indicates that ministers will rebel.

《荊州占》曰：“辰星道；從太微西藩北南方星間入，到南方東方星間南出道；中西藩直坐入者，非道也。”《春秋圖》曰：“辰星若以立秋後七十二日得壬子，入太微朝見，當此之時，陰氣隆盛，陽氣潛藏，不欲穿池，決溝渠，犯之冬雷。”《荊州占》曰：“辰星以壬子日順入太微，天子所使也；不以壬子日，非天子使也。”

郗萌曰：“辰星當太微門，為受制；當左執法，為受事左執法；當右執法，為受事右執法守；太微門三日以下為受制，三日以上，為兵、為賊、為亂、為飢。”《荊州占》曰：“辰星出東掖門，為相受命；東南出德事也。出西掖門為將受事，西南出刑事也；期以春秋。”《黃帝占》曰：“辰星入天庭，色白潤澤，為期百八十日，有赦。”巫咸曰：“辰星入太陰門西，出太陰門東，後宮破，右有大水，期百二十日。”《合誠圖》曰：“辰星入華闕門，為臣弒之候也。”

Xi Meng said: When the water star is directly opposite the Taimei垣 gate, it indicates receiving the emperor's decree; when it is directly opposite the left law officer star, it indicates receiving duties from the left law officer; when it is directly opposite the right law officer star, it indicates receiving duties from the right law officer; if it stays at the Taimei gate for three days or less, it indicates receiving decrees, but if it stays for more than three days, it indicates military affairs, bandits, unrest, and famine. The "Jingzhou Divination" says: When the water star emerges from the eastern gate, it indicates the chancellor receiving a mandate; when it emerges from the southeast, it indicates the implementation of virtuous governance. When it emerges from the western gate, it indicates the general receiving a mandate; when it emerges from the southwest, it indicates judicial punishment; the time of occurrence is in spring or autumn. The "Yellow Emperor Divination" says: When the water star enters the heavenly court, and the star is white and moist, the time of occurrence is 180 days, and there will be a great amnesty. Wu Xian said: When the water star enters from the west side of the Taoyin gate and exits from the east side, it indicates the palace breaking down, and there will be a great flood on the right side, with the time of occurrence being 120 days. The "Hecheng Tu" says: When the water star enters the Huaque gate, it is a sign of a minister killing the king.

石氏曰：“辰星入太微中華東西門；若左右掖門，而南出端門，必有反臣；若入西門出東，為人君不安，欲求賢佐；有入中華西門，出中華東門，為臣出令；入太陽西，出太陰東門，為天下大亂，有喪，若大水。”郗萌曰：“入太微西門，犯天庭，出端門，為大臣伐主；入西門，折出右掖門，為大臣假主之威而不從主命；入西華門，南出端門，為臣詐稱詔；入太微，若入端門出東門，貴者奪勢。”

Shi Shen said: If the planet Mercury enters from the eastern gate, the western gate, or the left and right wings of the Middle Palace, and exits to the south from the end gate, there will certainly be a rebellious minister; if it enters from the western gate and exits from the eastern gate, the sovereign will be troubled and seek capable ministers; if it enters from the western gate of the Middle Palace and exits from the eastern gate, the ministers will issue orders擅自; if it enters from the western gate of the Sun Palace and exits from the eastern gate of the Moon Palace, there will be great chaos throughout the realm, calamity, or a great flood. Xi Meng said: If it enters from the western gate of the Middle Palace and violates the heavenly court, then exits from the end gate, the ministers will rebel against the sovereign; if it enters from the western gate and exits from the right wing gate, the ministers will pretend to act under the sovereign's authority but not obey the sovereign's orders; if it enters from the western gate of the Huahua Palace and exits to the south from the end gate, the ministers will falsely claim the sovereign's decree; if it enters the Middle Palace, or enters from the end gate and exits from the eastern gate, the powerful will lose their authority.

《荊州占》曰：“辰星入太微宮，天下有聖女子出燕代；若有大水，傷人民，期三十日。”（《天文志》曰：“孝桓永壽元年七月巳未，辰星入太微中，八十日去，出左掖門，是歲洛水溢至津門，南陽大水。）

The book "Jingzhou Divination" states: When the water star enters the Taimei Palace, it indicates that there will be a virtuous woman of great virtue emerging from the Yan and Dai regions; or there will be a major flood that harms the people, and the event will occur within thirty days. (Original commentary: The "Astronomical Records" say that in the first year of Hengdi Emperor's Yongshou period, on the巳 and 未 days of the seventh month, the water star entered the center of Taimei, and left eighty days later, exiting from the left gate. In that year, the Luo River overflowed, flooding the jinmen gate of Luoyang, and there was a major flood in the Nanyang region, which exactly matches the divination text.)

《荊州占》曰：“辰星入太微天庭，出端門，臣不臣；入太微宮，為天下大驚；一曰有兵；又曰入天庭，國不安其宮；又曰辰星見太微，天子當之。”陳卓曰：“辰星入太微，天子之宮，群臣相殺。”（《宋書天文志》曰：“晉永寧元年七月，辰星入太微，初齊王冏定京都，因留輔政，遂專權無君，是月成都王穎，河間王顯，長沙王乂討之，冏乂交戰，攻焚宮關，冏兵敗，夷滅乂殺其兄，上將軍寔以下二十餘人，大安二年成都攻長沙，於是公私飢困，百姓力屈也。）

(Original book note: The "Song History · Astronomical Records" states that in the seventh month of Yongning Year One of the Jin Dynasty, the water star entered Taimei. At that time, Prince Sima Jing of Qi pacified the capital and remained to assist in governance, thus monopolizing power and disregarding the emperor. In that month, Prince Sima Ying of Chengdu, Prince Sima Yong of Hejian, and Prince Sima Yi of Changsha raised armies to attack him. Sima Jing fought against Sima Yi, attacking and burning the palace gate. Sima Jing was defeated and executed, his family was exterminated, and Sima Yi later killed his elder brother and General Sima Shi and more than twenty others. In the second year of Taian, Prince Sima Ying attacked Prince Sima Yi, causing both public and private sectors to suffer from famine and exhaustion, with the people's strength depleted.)

齊伯曰：“辰星入左右掖門而東出，天下有憂，若入端門而守天庭，強臣奪主位。”《黃帝占》曰：“辰星東行，入太微庭，出東門，天下有急兵；若守，將相丞相御史大臣有死者；若入端門、守庭，大禍至；入南門出東門，國大旱；若入南門逆行出西門，國大亂；逆行入東門，出西門，大國破亡；若順入西藩而不留去；楚國凶殃。”巫咸曰：“辰星逆行，入太微天庭中，為大臣有誅，若諸侯戮死，期二年。”石氏曰：“辰星逆行於太微中，及出左右掖門者，有逆謀，天子有命將征伐之事；一曰大赦可以解其患也。”

Qi Bo said: When the water star enters from the left and right gates and goes eastward, it indicates there will be calamities in the world; if it enters from the end gate and stays in the heavenly court, it indicates a powerful minister will seize the throne. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the water star moves eastward and enters the Taiwei court, then exits from the eastern gate, it indicates there will be urgent military affairs in the world; if it stays there without leaving, it indicates death among the ministers, including generals, prime ministers, and censors; if it enters from the end gate and stays in the heavenly court, it indicates great calamity; if it enters from the southern gate and exits from the eastern gate, it indicates a great drought in the country; if it enters from the southern gate and goes westward from the western gate, it indicates great chaos in the country; if it goes westward from the eastern gate and exits from the western gate, it indicates the collapse of a great state; if it enters the western gate and leaves without stopping, it indicates misfortune for the state of Chu. Wu Xian said: When the water star goes westward and enters the Taiwei court, it indicates ministers will be executed, or诸侯 will be killed and die, and this will happen within two years. Shi Shen said: When the water star goes westward in the Taiwei court, or comes out from the left and right gates, it indicates there will be conspiracies of rebellion, and the emperor will appoint generals to lead military campaigns; another interpretation suggests that a great pardon can remove this calamity.

石氏曰：“辰星犯黃帝座，改政易王，天下亂，存亡半。”

The Yellow Emperor's seat is the bright star at the center of the Five Emperors' enclosure in the Taiwei垣, representing the proper position of the Son of Heaven. Shi Shen said that when the planet Mercury approaches the Yellow Emperor's seat, it indicates changes in government, replacement of the ruler, and great chaos throughout the land, with equal chances of survival or destruction.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯乘守四帝座，天下亡；又曰臣謀主，去之一尺，事不成。”

The four imperial thrones are the seats of the four emperors surrounding the Yellow Emperor's throne: the Blue Emperor, the Red Emperor, the White Emperor, and the Black Emperor. Gan De said that when the planet Mercury invades, suppresses, or stays in the four imperial thrones, it signifies the downfall of the world; it also indicates that ministers plot against the sovereign. However, if it is more than a foot away from them, the plotted actions will not succeed.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯守屏星，君臣失禮，下謀上。”

The four stars of Ping Xing are located within the Taimei Yuan of the Purple Forbidden Enclosure, serving as a barrier to separate inside from outside, representing distinctions in ritual propriety. Gan De said: If the water star encroaches upon and occupies the Ping Xing stars, it signifies that there is a loss of ritual decorum between sovereign and subject, and the lower ranks plot against the higher ranks.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯守郎位，輔臣有謀，左右宿衛者為亂，王者宜備之。”

The position of fifteen stars in the northeast of the Imperial Seat is the position of officials known as lang officials, who serve as palace guards and attendants. Gan De said: If the planet Water occupies and remains in the position of lang, it indicates that the minister of auxiliary governance has other intentions, and the guards on duty may rebel; the king should be on his guard.

郗萌曰：“辰星入庫樓，以水起兵，亦大水。”《荊州占》曰：“入天庫，鈇鉞用，大臣誅。”

The ten stars of Kulu are located south of the Horn mansion, representing the heavenly arsenal and pavilions, governing military forces and weapons. Xi Meng said: When the water star enters Kulu, it indicates warfare caused by floods, or a great flood. The "Jingzhou Divination" states: When entering the heavenly arsenal, it signifies the use of axes and weapons, and the execution of high officials.

石氏曰：“辰星犯守南門，邊夷兵起，若道路不通。”

The two stars of Nanmen are located south of Kulu, representing the heavenly outer gate, which oversees the defense of the border. Shi Shen said: if the planet Water invades and occupies Nanmen, it indicates that the people of the border regions will raise armies or that the roads will be blocked.

石氏曰：“辰星犯平星，凶。”甘氏曰：“犯守平星，執政臣憂，若有罪誅者，期一年。”

The two stars called Ping Xing are located north of Kulu. They are the celestial officials in charge of evaluating laws and judging criminal cases. Shi Shen said: If the water star interferes with Ping Xing, it indicates misfortune. Gan De said: If the water star interferes with and stays at Ping Xing, it suggests that high-ranking officials will face worries or be punished and executed. The predicted time is one year.

甘氏曰：“辰星犯守騎官，有兵起，馬多發，若多死。”

The constellation Qiguan consists of twenty-seven stars located south of the Root mansion, representing the officials responsible for the emperor's cavalry and palace guards. Gan De said that when the planet Water occupies and guards Qiguan, it indicates the outbreak of military conflicts, the conscription of a large number of horses, or the death of many horses.

石氏曰：“辰星入積卒，若守之，兵大起，士卒大行，若多死，期二年。”《玄冥占》曰：“犯積卒，主失位，天下亂，兵大起，期百八十日。”

Accumulated soldiers consist of twelve stars located south of the Room Mansion, symbolizing gathered troops. Shi Shen said: If the water star enters the Accumulated Soldiers or remains there, it indicates a great outbreak of military affairs, a large mobilization of soldiers, or a significant number of deaths, with the event occurring within two years. The "Xuanming Divination" states: Offending the Accumulated Soldiers indicates the loss of the ruler's position, great chaos throughout the realm, and a major outbreak of military conflict, with the event occurring within 180 days.

《海中占》曰：“辰星犯守龜星，天下有水旱之災；守陽，即旱；守陰，即水。”

The star of the tortoise and the five planets are located south of the Tail mansion, symbolizing a spiritual tortoise in water, governing divination and water-related affairs. The "Sea Divination" states: when the water star encroaches upon and occupies the tortoise star, it indicates that the world will suffer from drought or flood. If it occupies the yang position, it signifies drought; if it occupies the yin position, it signifies flood.

石氏曰：“辰星犯守傅說，王者簡宗廟，廢五祀，後宮凶；一曰有絕嗣君，期不出二年。”

Fu Yue, a star located after the Tail Mansion, is named after Fu Yue, a virtuous minister of the Yin High King. It presages worship and seeking offspring. Shi Shen said: when the water star encroaches upon and occupies Fu Yue, it indicates the king's neglect of ancestral temples and abandonment of the five ancestral rites, with calamity in the harem; another interpretation suggests a ruler who will cut off the lineage, with the event occurring within two years.

石氏曰：“辰星犯守魚星，凶。”甘氏曰：“犯過魚星之陽，為大旱，魚行人道；之陰，為大水，魚鹽貴。”

A single star called Yu Xing is located to the south of the Tail mansion and beside the Tian Jiang, symbolizing fish in water. Shi Shen said: When the water star encroaches upon and stays at Yu Xing, it indicates misfortune. Gan De said: If the water star encroaches upon the yang position of Yu Xing, it foretells a great drought, with water drying up so much that fish would have to walk on the roads; if it passes through the yin position, it signifies a great flood, with fish and salt becoming very expensive.

《海中占》曰：“辰星入杵星，若守之，天下有急發之事，不出其年。”

The star Chǔ (Chopper) consists of three stars located south of Ji Xu (Winnowing Basket mansion), and it pairs with the star Jù (Millstone) to signify the preparation of rice and grain. The book Hai Zhong Zhan (Ocean Divination) states: When the planet Water enters the Chǔ star or stays there, it indicates urgent military conscription across the country, and the predicted time will not be beyond the current year.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星守鱉星，有白衣之會。”巫咸曰：“國有水旱之災；守陽，則旱；守陰、則水。”

The Nine Pits and Nine Stars are located south of the constellation Qian Niu, symbolizing nine water channels and depressions, governing matters of irrigation and ditches. Shi Shen said: When the Water Star occupies the Nine Pits, it signifies a drought across the land, famous rivers drying up and ceasing to flow, resulting in poor harvests of grain and great famine among the people; if it is in its yang position, it indicates a severe drought; if it is in its yin position, it indicates a great flood. Shi Shen also said: If the Water Star violates and occupies the Nine Pits, it brings about misfortune.

石氏曰：“辰星守敗臼，民不安其室，憂失其釜甑，若流移，去其鄉。”

Four stars of the Broken Mill are located south of the Emptiness Mansion and the Rooftop Mansion, indicating an image of broken grinding stones, presaging misfortune, famine, and disaster. Shi Shen said: If the Water Star occupies the Broken Mill, it signifies that the common people cannot live securely in their homes, worrying about losing their cooking vessels, or being displaced and migrating away from their homeland.

郗萌曰：“辰星入羽林，有反臣中兵。”巫咸曰：“入羽林，天下兵起，四夷入國，人主憂；一曰其國以水為憂。”《荊州占》曰：“熒惑與辰星俱入天庫，軍凶；若有水災。”郗萌曰：“犯守天陣，為兵起，有破軍死將。”《海中占》曰：“入犯守羽林，有兵起；若逆行變色，成勾已，天下大兵，關梁不通，不出其年。”

The forty-five stars of the Imperial Forest are located south of the constellation Yingshi, representing the imperial bodyguard, also called "Heavenly Army" and "Heavenly Array." Xi Meng said that when the Water Star enters the Imperial Forest, there will be a minister who rebels within the court and starts a rebellion. Wu Xian said that when the Water Star enters the Imperial Forest, there will be war all over the country, and the four barbarian tribes will invade the borders, causing the ruler to be anxious; another interpretation suggests that the country corresponding to the division will suffer from water disasters. The "Jingzhou Divination" says that when the Fire Star and the Water Star both enter the Heavenly Store, the military will suffer misfortune; or there will be floods. Xi Meng also said that when the Fire Star violates and occupies the Heavenly Array, there will be war, with armies defeated and generals dying. The "Haizhong Divination" says that when the Fire Star enters, violates, or occupies the Imperial Forest, there will be military affairs arising; if it moves retrograde and changes color, taking a winding path like "Gou Si," there will be great warfare across the country, with borders and bridges blocked, and the predicted time not occurring in the current year.

石氏曰：“辰星守北落，亦為兵大合，女子兵起；若與北落相貫，牴觸，光相及，有兵大戰，破軍殺將，伏尸流血，不可當也；期百八十日，若一年。”甘氏曰：“守北落，斧鑕用，大臣有誅、期不出年。”

The star known as Beiluo is also called BeiluoshiMen, a single star located south of the YuLin, serving as the gate of the heavenly army, indicating vigilance against unusual events and prevention of bandit attacks. Shi Shen said: if the water star is stationed at Beiluo, it indicates a large gathering of troops, even women joining the army; if the water star passes through or collides with the Beiluo star, with their lights connected, it foretells a great battle, the defeat of the army, the death of generals, and widespread casualties and bloodshed, an unstoppable force; the time of occurrence is either 180 days or one year. Gan De said: if the star is stationed at Beiluo, it indicates the use of axes and execution tools, with ministers being executed, and the occurrence will not be beyond the same year.

《海中占》曰：“辰星守土司空，其國以土起兵；若有土功之事，天下旱。”

The star of the Earth Minister is located south of the mansion of Kuí, and it is the official in charge of earth and wood construction and policies concerning land and water. The book "Sea Divination" states: When the planet of Water occupies the Earth Minister, it indicates that the country corresponding to this area will have military conflicts due to disputes over land; or there will be earth and wood construction projects, and the whole country will suffer from drought.

齊伯曰：“辰星守天色，諸侯有發粟之事，有兵起；星若當戶守之，將受命，不為主用。”《荊州占》曰：“辰星入天倉中，主財寶出，主憂亂臣在內，天下有兵，而倉庫之戶俱開；主人勝，客事不成；期二十日中而發。”郗萌曰：“入若天倉，為粟發用。”《黃帝》曰：“守天倉，大水。”《荊州占》曰：“守天倉，天下飢，粟出。”

The six stars of Tiancang are located south of Lousu, symbolizing granaries for storing grain. Qi Bo said: When the water star occupies Tiancang (the original text here reads 'tianse'), it indicates that the princes will open the granaries to distribute grain, and military actions will arise. If the star is directly facing the granary gate and stays there, it suggests that although generals receive orders, they will not be used by the sovereign. The "Jingzhou Divination" states: When the water star enters Tiancang, it signifies the outflow of treasures, the sovereign's worry, and the presence of rebellious ministers within the court. There will be warfare across the land, and all granary gates will be opened. The host side will win, while the guest side will fail. The event will occur within twenty days. Xi Meng said: Entering Tiancang indicates the distribution of grain. The "Yellow Emperor Divination" states: When the water star occupies Tiancang, it signifies a great flood. The "Jingzhou Divination" states: When the water star occupies Tiancang, it signifies a famine across the land and the transfer of stored grain from the granaries.

石氏曰：“辰星入天囷，天下兵起，囷倉儲積之物皆發用；一曰御物多有出者，庫藏空虛，期二年。”

The constellation Tian Qin consists of thirteen stars located south of the Stomach mansion, symbolizing a circular granary, indicating the storage of grain and rice. Shi Shen said: When the planet Water enters Tian Qin, it signifies that war will break out across the country, and all the stored supplies in the granaries will be distributed and used up; another interpretation suggests that many of the royal treasures will be dispersed, leading to empty treasuries, with the event expected to occur within two years.

石氏曰：“辰星犯天廩，天下亂，粟散出。一曰天下大飢。”

Four stars of the granary are located south of the Hairy Head mansion, serving as storage for the grain used in worship. Shi Shen said: When the water star interferes with the granary, it indicates turmoil throughout the world and the dispersal of stored grain. Another interpretation suggests it signifies a great famine across the land.

石氏曰：“辰星入天苑，牛羊禽獸多疾疫。若守之二十日，天下兵起，馬多死，其國憂。”

The sixteen stars of Tian Yuan are located south of the Hairy Head mansion and the Net mansion, representing the royal enclosures where the Son of Heaven keeps livestock such as cattle, horses, poultry, and beasts. Shi Shen said: if the planet Mercury enters Tian Yuan, it indicates that cattle, sheep, poultry, and beasts will suffer from many diseases. If it remains there for twenty days, it portends warfare across the land, with a large number of horses dying. The region corresponding to this area will experience calamity.

《海中占》曰：“辰星守參旗，兵大起，弓弩用，士將出行。一曰弓矢貴。”

The Three Stars mansion is located west of theThree Stars mansion, also known as the "Heavenly Flag," which oversees the storehouses of bows and arrows. The "Sea of Divination" states: When the water star occupies the Heavenly Flag, it indicates a great outbreak of military affairs, the use of bows and arrows, and the deployment of soldiers. Another interpretation suggests that the price of bows and arrows is high.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星入玉井，為強國失地；其出之，強國得地。”巫咸曰：“辰星入玉井，國有大水，憂；若以水為敗，水物不成，期不出年。”

The four stars of the Jade Well are located beneath the left foot of the Three Stars mansion, and they are in charge of obtaining water and liquid for the kitchen and food preparation. The Yellow Emperor's Divination states that when the water star enters the Jade Well, it indicates a strong country losing its territory; when it exits from the Jade Well, it indicates a strong country gaining territory. Wu Xian says that when the water star enters the Jade Well, it signifies great water disasters within the country; or the country may be ruined due to water calamities, and the aquatic produce will not mature, with the predicted time not occurring in the same year.

甘氏曰：“辰星入守屏星，諸使有謀；若大臣有戮死者。”甘氏曰：“入天屏，為大臣戮；若疫。”

The two stars called Ping and Xing are located south of Yu Jing and north of Ce Xing, sharing the same name as the Ping Xing stars within the Tai Wei垣 but situated in different positions. They serve as a barrier to block off the area of Ce Hun. Gan De said: When the water star enters and occupies Ping Xing, it indicates that the various envoys have other schemes; or that a minister may be killed. Gan De also said: When entering Tian Ping, it signifies the death of a minister or an outbreak of plague.

《黃帝占》曰：“辰星犯廁，為大臣有戮者。”《甄曜度》曰：“入守廁星，天下大飢，人民相食，死者大半，期二年。”

To the east of the Screen Star are four stars called the Toilet Stars, which represent the heavenly toilet, governing diseases and filth. The Yellow Emperor's Divination says: When the Water Star invades the Toilet Star, it indicates that a high official will be killed. The Bright Measure says: When the Toilet Star is entered and occupied, it presages a great famine across the land, with people eating each other, and more than half of the people dying. This will occur within two years.

石氏曰：“辰星入守軍市，兵大起，大將軍出；若以飢兵起。”

The military market consists of thirteen stars located south of the Three Stars mansion. It is the market for trade within the military. Shi Shen said: if the water star enters and occupies the military market, it indicates a great outbreak of military action, with the supreme general leading an expedition; or it may indicate military action arising from famine.

甘氏曰：“辰星入犯守野雞，其國凶，必有死將；軍營敗，兵士散走。”

A single star of the wild fowl appears in the military market, indicating strange and unusual events, a sign of alarm in the military. Gan De said: If the water star enters, offends, or occupies the wild fowl, it foretells calamity in the territory associated with that star. There will certainly be the death of a general, the collapse of the military camp, and soldiers scattering in all directions.

石氏曰：“辰星入守狼星，野獸死。”《聖洽符》曰：“辰星犯守狼星，天下多奸盜，有兵起，其國以水為憂。”《荊州占》曰：“守狼星，大將出，其國有兵；一曰死將。”

The star Wolf is located in the southeast of the Three Stars mansion. It appears white with a sharp edge, indicating invasion and plunder. Shi Shen said: When the planet Water enters and occupies the Wolf star, it signifies the death of wild animals. The "Sheng Qia Fu" states: When the planet Water offends and occupies the Wolf star, it indicates many villains and thieves in the world, and military conflicts will arise. The country corresponding to this area will suffer from water disasters. The "Jingzhou Zhan" says: When the Wolf star is occupied, it indicates a general going to war, and the country will have military affairs; another interpretation suggests that a general will die in battle.

《荊州占》曰：“辰星守弧星，大將有千里之行，國政驚。”

A cluster of nine stars called the Arc Star is located to the southeast of the Wolf Star, forming the shape of a bent bow facing the Wolf Star. This indicates the need for vigilance against thieves and is also associated with bows and arrows. The "Jingzhou Divination" states that if the planet Mercury is positioned to guard the Arc Star, it signifies that a general will undertake a distant military campaign, and the country's political situation will experience great disturbance and unrest.

《海中占》曰：“辰星守天稷，有旱災，五穀不登，歲大飢；一曰五穀散出。”

The heavenly stems are Jia, Yi, Bing, Ding, Wu, Ji, Geng, Xin, Ren, and Gui. The earthly branches are Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai. The trigrams are Qian (Heaven), Dui (Lake), Li (Fire), Zhen (Thunder), Xun (Wind), Kan (Water), Gen (Mountain), and Kun (Earth). The five planets are located south of the Seven Stars, representing the official in charge of agriculture, overseeing farming and the cultivation of all grains. The book "Sea Divination" states that if the water star is stationed at Tian Ji, there will be drought, a poor harvest of grain, and a great famine in that year; another interpretation suggests that the grain stored in the granary should be distributed.
